Best Crossfit Shorts For Women (2026 Updated)

I have hip pain and do not want the pain to slow me down as far as walking and doing my push up daily. I ordered several pairs of capris as well as full length leggings. While these were fine and comfortable for wearing during the day and through the night.

the compression was NOT adequate as far as “dealing with the pain/discomfort” I tried ordering 3 different kinds of leggings/bike shorts for added (hoping!!) compression. GUESS WHAT? As a last resort, I took advantage of the recent excellent sale and order several pairs of Compression shorts.

I tried wearing the shorts OVER my capris/leggings VOILA! My hip pain REALLY decreased by at least 75%. Thank YOU for another very effective pain control product (without harmful chemical/deadly side effects.

I needed a compression short and pant to support my adductor muscle and groin area while exercising. I ordered a small but it wasn’t sufficient compression, so I contacted the company and they were amazingly helpful.

The assistant sent me an XS short and told me to keep the small, so I wouldn’t have the hassle of sending them back. I call that great customer service. The XS fits perfectly and keeps me comfortable when working out.

If I could add anything it would be a side pocket for phone and/or keys, so I’ll order that next.

I wear this copper compression short to aid in my rehab from a proximal hamstring avulsion and surgical repair. While it’s very light weight, the support it provides is perfect. If I dont wear it, there’s pain at the end of the day.

If I wear it, I’m pain free. Also it’s cool even on humid days.

My 8 year old daughter wanted some shorts in her size to wear to match me (mom) and her big sister, as we love the adult version of these. I ordered the small for her (she’s very slim, as she was a 4lb preemie at birth) and they fit her perfectly.

She said the waistband is soft and comfortable and she loves that she can match us now. She said she wished these had pockets like the adult version, but that’s her only complaint, if that even qualifies as one.

The shirts are the same in every way as the adult ones except the pockets, but the kids sizes are 5 bucks cheaper so it evens out. Fun fact: I wear an adult medium and the kids XL fits exactly the same.

My older daughter wears adult small, and the kids large fits the same. So if pockets aren’t important and you want to save a few bucks, try that. Kids have more fun, brighter colors too!.

Read such great reviews on these shorts so was really excited to get them. However they were very underwhelming. Perhaps more to do with my body as I’m post-partum. I’m in between a size 12-14 so went for a size L.

The outer layer of fabric just gets sucked between my thighs as I walk, and I can’t feel it because of the tighter layer underneath. Perhaps the size M would be better for that. However a smaller size would definitely emphasise my new love handles.

Happy to wear around the house but definitely not in front of other people. Feels like great quality material though.

These shorts were exactly what I was looking for and more. They look very nice on. The compression short underneath doesn’t ride up and is very comfy which you don’t always come across. They are lightweight and the large elastic ‘ARMOUR’ waist band isn’t overly tight, it’s like a perfeft comfy fit.

The pockets are super handy. They are great to run in and even lounge around in. Overall they are definitely worth the purchase.

Thee best! Nice and light and don’t restrict movement. The inner lining isn’t too tight or anything, just does what it’s supposed to do. The waist band doesn’t grab to tight, yet it stays in perfect place.

The cut of the legs make your butt look cute 🙂 I just want them in every color possible and I’ll be a happy girl. (Sidenote – the versions that have AMRAP on the waistband run larger than these ones.

They’re the same short, but the AMRAP ones are just a little too big. ).

Until now I’ve had no success with shorts for working out. They always have some problem: the waist rolls down; the legs ride up; they transform into an unexpected thong! These, however, do NONE of those things.

From the moment I put them on to the end of my workout they stay in place, meaning that the worries about a constantly shifting garment are no longer on my radar and I can just focus on the task at hand without distraction.

I got these for the muggy summer we’ve been having in Southern California. I wanted shorts that were comfy and not too tight, and wouldn’t make me self conscious. These fit the bill – the tight shorts inside are a perfect length and soft, and the outer shell provides “modesty” coverage.

Most of my workout clothes are size M, but I ended up getting L in these, and they’re a bit too loose. I would recommended ordering your usual size.

I got these on sale and wasn’t sure how if I’d like them because I am short waisted and don’t usually wear high waisted shorts for workout. As it turns out, these are super comfortable. They definitely give me confidence when wearing a shorter top at the gym, which is a plus.

The fit at the thighs is great because lifting heavy has made my thighs big, these have plenty of room but still give support. I feel really good when I wear these, the quality and fit are excellent.

I am 5,4 145 lbs with a mom pooch. Naturally I have curves since I am also Latina so wearing shorts makes me feel unconscious sometimes. I recently purchased the 4inch inseams wunder train shorts from lululemon and my thighs were suffocating.

I’m looking for some shorts not too long too short for the warmer days and these did not disappoint! They stay in place, my thighs don’t suffocate lol and my mom pooch stays put with the high wasted band.

Wasn’t sure what the color would look like but I am so happy with these! These are my now go to shorts. I absolutely love them! They’re great material, comfortable, and cute. I wear them for CrossFit training, hiking and hanging around the house.

I 100% recommend, they’re great quality especially for the price. I wear a size small, I’m 5”4 and about 130. I recommend sizing down if you’re in between sizes and worried!.

FAVORITE. SHORTS. Not only do these shorts fit and hug all the right places, but they DO NOT RISE UP my thighs or SLIDE DOWN my waist!! These are my go to shorts for leg day! The little cinch in the back gives me an added little boost of confidence too! Size is true and they look so good! Made of great material to withstand my heavy lifting and gives great coverage.

I recently just bought these shorts in hope for something trendy, comfortable, yet not too expensive and I am in love with these! I wear them to work ( I work in food service and we are always on our feet and walking around), I wear them as shorts to lounge in, and I wear them for great insta worthy outfits! They not only come to a comfortable length on my bigger thighs, but they also hit a good high rise position that helps suppress any tummy action.

I would suggest going up in size though for more comfort! I usually wear a medium in leggings and XL in shorts like Nike’s so I was confused on what size would fit me best, but I went with luxe and it fit perfect! The color is amazing (I bought black) and the material is thick enough (or pigmented enough) that these are 100% squat proof on me! Would recommend these to anymore, in fact my sisters already begging me to buy her a pair!.

They look great and fit great. Unfortunately for the high intensity workouts I do they don’t cut it. They don’t stay in place and ride up. I trail run long distances and do a lot of HIIT workouts. I have muscular thighs so maybe that’s why they ride up.

If you are using them for yoga or low intensity these would be great. I like them enough to just wear casually but am overall disappointed by these shorts.

I’m right between a medium and a small and so I got the mediums but was swimming in them. I’m like a 32-33. The smalls are perfect and give me some awesome compression. I use them for cycling on paved roads in VT where I’m up and out of the saddle and moving all around.

Short jaunts to the store for beer 12miles or an 18-20 mile ride for groceries once a week and a padded pant is just not needed. I love the fit, the feel and the way they breathe. Turned around and ordered 2 more pair of smalls.

I’m a big guy, 6’1†, 270 lbs, and at 70 years old I still enjoy riding my recumbent trike. I had about gave up on finding cycling gear that fit until I found Aero Tech Designs. When I placed my first order I thought, it was too good to be true, but when I received my order, I realized I had found the holy grail of cycling apparel! I wear the compression shorts for cycling, walking on my treadmill, and just lazying around.

Great fit, comfortable and reasonable price, oh yeah, great service too.

Apex contour can do no wrong. This cut is the best! I love the lime color of these shorts. The new muse fabric is beautiful but definitely doesn’t stay as well as some other fabrics. I keep these in my frequent rotation though because they’re fun and look amazing!.

I absolutely love the color of these shorts! This is my favorite style the apex short! The shape and pattern of these shorts are amazing! One thing I will note is this fabric does fit tighter than any of the other fabrics or apex double lined.

First purchase of the Apex Contour! It’s the new material so I can’t compare it to the apex in the bounce fabric, but I do like the new fabric a lot! I got my normal size M and it had good compression (not enough to leave marks on my skin or squeeze) that just moves better with you.

The color is just fun :).

I was excited to receive these, since my favorite pair of booty shorts are also from Reebok. Unfortunately, this pair feels cheaper, and the fit is less flattering than the one I bought three years ago.

While the rest of the shorts (i. e. , hips and waist) fits very comfortably, the hem of the legs is quite tight and cinches in against your thighs. I would not recommend this to those who have more muscular and/or curvy hips and legs.

Bought them tried. Them on. I really thought they would have more compression. I am disappointed. The fabric feels really thin. Just meh.

Flattering fit, pleasant to touch fabric. Great for gym training, running, but nice looking enough for an apres training coffee outing or casual weekend stroll in the city park

I bought these shorts in 3 different colors and the camo ones run bigger than the solid color ones. I was at the Games in Madison and tried on the camo in XL and they fit perfect. I then grabbed a green and black in XL.

Got home, went to wear them and they are significantly smaller. I wondered if tag was mislabeled. ordered another green pair in XL and same thing, just too small. Not sure the issue.

I am so super bummed that I followed the reviews a few gals posted about these running small!!! They are so cute, as soon as they arrived I ripped out the tags and put them on. HUGE mistake. I ordered a medium (in comparison I wear a 6 in all Lululemon shorts) and could easily fit another small human within the waist band.

So disappointing. I tried to love them, washed them in hot water, put them in the dryer on high heat. The waist cord does nothing for me. They are really so stylish and I could see where they’d be flattering.

Just not when worn with suspenders. Word of warning. SIZE DOWN!!!.

I’m between size 4 and 6 in a different popular shorts brand. I purchased these in small. They’re ok but not worth this price for me. the fabric on your back end doesn’t curve in and conform with the body, the fabric covering my thighs is tight.

maybe I should have tried a medium but normally medium in anything is too big around the waist for me. The fabric flips up with any movement as well.

I absolutely love the Buffalo Plaid pattern! It’s cute and is a perfect pattern for winter (and year round, really). I also love that the waistband is elastic-free. Not having elastic makes the shorts so much more comfortable on my mid-section.

A lot of people talk about the shorts moving around due to not having elastic in the waistband, but I did not experience this when I wore them for my workout. The only complaint I have with these is that the sizing seems off.

I usually wear a small, but the small felt slightly too big; however, the XS felt too small, especially in the legs, and was slightly see-through across my bum due to being too stretched out.

Shorts are absolutely beautiful, so soft, awesome Christmas/winter pattern. The fit of the apex I haven’t figured out my size yet. The waist was a little to big to stay up when I was working out. But other then that they are amazing.

Great placement, style easy and color combos are endless.

This pattern is the best! Really vibrant and perfect for the season. I really like the contour lines and the lack of elastic in these. Though I do find that the true high contours feel more secure on my body shape.

Still great shorts and love the length.

I can’t stop raving about these shorts! I have three pairs now and will buy another if they come out with more colors. The waistband is amazing, like a low/medium-rise pair of yoga pants. In ever other pair of soccer shorts I’ve ever worn (tons) I’ve had to fold over the waistband so they don’t ride up my torso.

These sit perfectly bellow my belly button and are SO COMFORTABLE. Plus they are super cute! I play soccer all the time so have become a walking advertisement for them as I’m constantly telling people they need to buy a pair.

Love these shorts. Great for training and cross training. The length is perfect as is the stretch. I don’t worry about showing too much when I bend over or squat. I do wish it had a pocket in the front of the waistband in addition to the one in the back.

This new brand -made for women, by women- is a godsend for my athletic body! The four-way stretch makes such a huge difference in comfort: no binding/pulling when I lift my knees up high. And the high quality fabric and stitching are super soft–no chaffing on my inner thighs! Now, I need to buy a bunch of colors!.

Got my wife a pair for futsal. She ended up running in them, going to the gym, basically wearing them all weekend. A top quality premium product at a very fair price point. Definitely can tell they were designed by women for women.

Like no other shorts we’ve found.

I’m so confused. I bought a pair of these last summer that I ADORE and wear for running all the time. When these went on sale, I got two more in black and grey. All of these are size medium. The black ones were SOOO stretchy.

The waistband was visibly stretched out? Wondering if someone tried it on and messed it up. The grey ones were SO different feeling, skin tight with no give. The fabric wasn’t the same at all. And what’s even weirder is the shorts I already have and love didn’t feel like either of these two.

So three pairs of shorts with all different material. I find that this happens a lot with ON Athletic wear. I’ve gotten the same capris in different prints and one print fabric will be totally stretchy, the other with no give at all.

SUPER ANNOYING. I wanted more of the same shorts I already have so badly!.

I’ve found that the sizing for these biker shorts isn’t consistent. In the high rise Powersoft leggings (cropped, 7/8, and full length) I wear a Large (5’8 athletic build, size 10/12 in pants). I ordered my normal size Large in these, and only half the colors I ordered fit.

I ended up getting XL in some colors, and Large in others. I’m not sure if they’re cut in different facilities or what, but if I want a new color I have to order both the Large and XL in hopes of one of them fitting.

If you can purchase in store that would probably be best, that way you’re able to find the size the fits best right away. If you have to order them I suggest ordering multiple sizes at one time, and deal with the hassle of returning those that don’t fit.

Other than the inconsistency size wise they’re great shorts. Not see-thru, great length for longer legs, and wash up well.

Buy these. Don’t hesitate, just buy them and thank me later. I’m about 160lbs, 5”3 and I ordered a large and they fit great. I can wear these to lounge around my house or do chores in (which counts as a workout, right?) and they are SOOOO comfy, literally as comfortable as the ridiculously overpriced “brand name” shorts or pants, which I also own.

🙄 NEVER AGAIN! I am shy and not very confident, but I decided to wear these to the gym and wow! I thought for sure they would be drenched in sweat after my cardio, but they weren’t! They are flattering, but don’t suffocate the mom tummy.

Anyways, these shorts arent see through and they make each booty cheek look juicy and poppin’. I wear a size small and I’m 135 lbs and 5’5″. It has moderate waist control that isn’t insanely tight so your tummy doesn’t come spilling up and out.

They’re the perfect workout shorts for me. They also don’t scrunch up in the inner thigh area so it doesn’t hurt or feel uncomfortable.

These make the booty POP! The same, flattering high waist that TYCs are known for, with the must-have scrunch that gives each glute its own place in the spotlight! The resilient style has an extra layer of soft fabric that smooths and conceals, so they really really are squat proof! They don’t pinch or bunch.

I sized up to M (8) and I normally wear XS (4) in the effortless scrunch leggings. I’m glad I did because they fit perfectly.

I’m a solid medium or size 8. For reference, I’m 5’9, 155 lbs athletic build. Typically wear a 29 in jeans. Ordered a medium and it was wayyyy to small around the booty, but fit my waist. This created a very bad “poof” effect; I swapped them for a large, which don’t have the poof and fit my booty.

but are too big around the waist, even with the drawstring pulled, for athletic purposes. I can wear them casually, but athletically. no way.

I wanted to love these but actually I am giving away. The waistband is tight and narrow so not good for thicker waists which creates a muffin top on me and I’m not really overweight (5’6 and 148lbs).

I wish the inseam was 3″ and not 4″ as this seems rather long in the legs for a short waist inside liner which prevents you from pull up a tad. Just feels saggy to me.

This short was 100% designed and engineered to fit long slim legs. I am a size small in everything Reebok. I have wider hips and bum, but not enough for this to be so tight. There is no stretch or give, beware of these shorts if you have these body dimensions.

Love the shorts. They fit true to size. I purchased a medium: I’m 5’9″ 174 lbs, moderate muscular build 13. 9% bodyfat. I cycle and have bigger thighs: 23″ at the widest point, 22″ at midpoint and normally wear size medium in all clothing and size 32 pants (US/CAN).

The shorts are very comfortable, roomy/stretchy elastine for working out, slightly baggy if you’re on the smaller side. I have a larger package and the bulge is definitely visible on these, keep that in mind if your’re self conscious.

However, the nice thing is the crotch is stitched low, so there’s plenty of room! The inseam is measured at 7. 5″ but because the crotch is low and the band is tall, they fit more like shorts with a 8.

5″ or 9″ inseam. These are definitely not short shorts! The model in the picture is probably tall and slim. On me, the shorts are only about 1″ above my knee, like most medium shorts are. Unlike the picture, the shorts and the liner are about the same length so it’s not visible when standing straight.

If you were to bend your legs during a squat or while cycling the liner becomes visible and does its job! Overall, the shorts beat my expectations. Highly recommended!.

These are my favourite running shorts by far. I’ve got 3 pairs and don’t run in anything else anymore if I can help it. The stretchy underlayer is comfortable and the loose outer layer means you don’t look like an idiot in tight lycra with the outline of your giblets flapping around for everyone to see.

Best of all though, is the zipper pockets! So few running shorts have zip pockets, especially in this price range. Really happy with these and I’ll be devastated if they ever get discontinued.

These are literally my favourite work out shorts I’ve ever put on. They’re so comfortable and they feel amazing while lifting things up and putting them down. They don’t ride up at all on me and they look amazing too.

I feel so comfortable in them. I love them and want like 10 more of them in all of the colours possible. :).

these shorts are honestly better quality than i was expecting. they’re super soft and smooth feeling and surprisingly enough no matter how much i jump around and move they never rode up or anything. much more comfortable than some other activewear brands that i’ve tried before.

These shorts are so soft and lightweight. The lining underneath is perfect. It doesn’t ride up and it’s also not too tight. Even these shorts are high waisted, they aren’t super short. You still have plenty of length to cover the booty.

The waistband also isn’t too thick as compared to other high waisted running shorts. The pockets are so great!! Highly recommend! I’m definitely getting some more colors.

I have been sampling gym shorts from all the companies, and these shorts are tied for first place (love RBX also). The great thing about these shorts is the sticky dots on the inside of the leg that help keep them from riding up.

I walk, run, weightlift, and do yoga/mobility work in them and have very little issue with riding up. The size chart was a bit confusing in that a medium (I’m a smedium😂) was a hip measurement of 33 (mine are 38), but I ordered medium anyway and the fit is perfect.

If you are in between small and medium like me, size up. All in all, these shorts are a great value, super comfy, squat-proof, don’t ride up, and don’t give me cameltoe. Two thumbs up!.

I’ve been on the hunt for YEARS for shorts that are long enough, not too long, stay put, don’t squeeze the thighs, small enough on the waist. These are it. The leg holes don’t squeeze my giant thighs and the waist is perfect.

They have rubber to stay in place BUT it’s rubber spots so it doesn’t create and unnecessary seam. Weightlifter approved for sure. Fits true to size as well.

These are great! I ordered these after I bought the “short” shorts. I typically do not like “longer” gym shorts because I am vertically challenged @5’1”, and I just think they make me appear shorter.

But these “long” shorts are just right-not too long, and not too short, but they hit right in the middle of my thick and muscular thighs! I plan on buying one in every color!.
