I started using Bounce Curl products two years ago (almost to the day!) and have NEVER looked back — my curls have never looked better! My hair is on the thinner side, but I have a LOT of it, and upon using other brands’ curly hair products, I’d be dealing with 1) frizz and dryness, or 2) over-saturation and oiliness.
I am SO glad that my hairdresser recommended Bounce Curl products to me! My curly hair routine & favorite BC products are: 1) Moisture Balance Leave-in Conditioner: I use a quarter-sized amount on sections of my hair and comb it through post-shower (I’ve found that super wet hair is the way to go!).
2) Defining Butta: I use a pea-sized amount on sections of my hair and comb it through. (Using too much can often result in over-saturation!) 3) Light Hold Creme Gel: I use a penny-sized amount on sections of my hair and comb it through.
This is by FAR the best gel I’ve used on my hair — no crunchiness! 4) After all products are applied, I finger twist my curls, use a plopping towel and then diffuse! My curls are healthier than they’ve ever been — they’re shiny, soft, bouncy, and everyone always tells me that they smell so great (which is funny because I’ve never noticed the scent, haha).
I can’t recommend Bounce Curl products any more highly!!!.
I think when I was first using the defining butta, I was being much too heavy handed. I originally exclusively used the avocado clump and define cream, which always required a generous helping to hydrate and style my curls.
I used the same method with the defining butta and felt that it made my curls limp and lifeless and dull. Anyways, it sat on my shelf for ages and I finally gave it another go, using VERY LITTLE on each section of wet, clean hair and then wet plopping for about 25 minutes before air drying.
Well let me just say, what a hugely pleasant surprise when my curls emerged defined, soft to the touch, and shiny! They even seem to be elongated! A little definitely goes a long way with this product, which is great because it is such a big tub so it should last for ages.
I plan on trying it out with a light touch of the defining gel, as it’s one of favorite products and I always feel like it makes my hair grow faster so I would love to be able to combine the two. But definitely even on its own, the defining butta is a winner and I think for now has even replaced the avocado define cream as my new favorite! I’m on day 5 without having reapplied product and my curls are fluffy, voluminous and still softly defined.
Definitely if you’re trying it out, play with different methods to find what works best for you with this product. Because trust me, when it works, it WORKS!.
First off, this tub of Defining Butta will last me and my 3b curls more than a year! It’s thick and very moisturizing, actually intended for 4a/b curls. I had wanted to try the Avocado & Rose Oil Define and Clump cream, but it wasn’t in stock so I decided to try this out while I waited for that product to be back in stock.
I am so glad I did! The first time I used it, I used it with no pre-coat leave-in conditioner and with no added defrizz serum (two things with which I normally always pair my styling routine). I only used about a quarter-sized dollop for my 3b shoulder-length hair.
I could’ve used a little more, but still, my curls were clumped and defined well, soft to the touch and no frizz! The second time I used this product, I wanted to see if I could get a little more volume, so this second time around I used a little leave-in conditioner, a little more than a quarter-sized dollop of the Defining Butta, and finished with about two quarter-sized dollops of Bounce Curl’s Light Hold Creme Gel.
I feel like this was the winning combo: I had more ringlets, more definition, more volume and still no frizz! I highly recommend this product even for less kinky, coily textures. A little goes a long way! Happy styling!.
Use as a daily moisturizer to hydrate dry thirsty hair. Can be used to seal ends and to refresh curls. Made with botanical extracts and organic ingredients. Adds moisture and shine. Provides manageability.
Doesn’t leave residue. Light weight. Featuring hydrating extract blend, filled with botanicals, certified organic ingredients. This hair milk smooths and softens the hair providing moisture and manageability.
I do like this hair milk but I did use it in record time. I felt like I needed to apply a little bit more than other leave-in conditioners or moisturizing hair milks. I like to make sure I put enough moisturizer on my hair before I do anything to it so that’s probably why I had to use a little more than usual.
By no means is it a bad product and I would definitely purchase it again. I like the silky consistency that it has and I like that it’s not extremely heavy.
Withthe india curl Cream by I. C. O. N. curls and waves can have fun together. They are wonderfully defined by this cream. With Moringa, the elasticity of the hair is increased and Argan oil provides Shine.
Quinoa repairs the hair and thus prevents further damage. Sunflower seed extract and vitamin B5 moisturize the hair and hold it there. So your hair looks healthier and groomed.
GK Hair healthy benefits of using hair serum your hair is very important when it comes to express yourself. It has an essential role on your non-verbal communication. Early mornings when your hair is in place, everything is perfect.
But if your hair is having a bad day, it turns off your mood automatically. Things like dryness, intense damage, split ends and frizz, make it difficult to have flawless hair. These hair problems are usual in every womans life.
The actual issue is to find a considerable solution for these hair problems. These problems result due to insufficient moisture and nourishment for your hair. Every time you wash your hair, your hair loses its moisture and feels brittle after some time.
Further more, the daily hair styling, and the use of heating products dehydrate your hair making them dry, dull and frizzy.
Wow! I didn’t know how badly I needed this product in my life. I have long, thick and coarse hair. It has been looking very dry and dull lately. (I took a “before” picture, but it was accidentally deleted) I have photos to show the difference between the first and second use.
Prior to using this product, my hair was lacking any resemblance of shine. You can see in the after pictures how shiny it is getting. Not only does it look shinier and softer, but my hair feels much softer.
Just an FYI, I did not use any other type of hair products on my hair when these photos were taken. I am excited to see how much healthier my hair becomes while continuing to use this product. This product was easy to use, smells kind of minty, and is cruelty free.
After much research for a product that would keep the static out of my hair in the harsh winter climate, I settled on this product. It got great reviews and seemed to be what I was looking for (a leave-in product that could be used on damp or dry hair).
I was excited to use it so I tried to apply it onto my towel dried hair the first day. I was immediately hit by the very strong perfume-like smell of the product. I thought maybe I could get over that if the product worked.
I went ahead and dried my hair and styled it. The second I put my coat on, STATIC everywhere! I thought maybe I should give the product the benefit of the doubt and try it on dry hair instead the next day.
So, after blow drying my hair on day 2, I applied the product as directed. Once again, the strong perfume-like smell was overwhelming. Hoping for the best I put my coat on again and the static reappeared.
On the 3rd day of using this product, I applied it on towel dried hair first, then on blow dried hair as well. I really thought this would work, but it didn’t. STATIC again. I gave the product 3 tries, but it did not work for me and my hair-type.
Like some others here, I first spotted this oil in an article on Buzzfeed. I regularly color my hair in fashion colors, which requires that I bleach my hair first, so I was interested in trying anything that might help with the frizzies, and this DID NOT disappoint.
I have fairly thick, long hair, so I have to use about ten pumps when drying my hair, but then just a couple drops on the tips of my fingers worked through the last 2-3 inches of my hair when dry results in smooth, shiny, beautiful hair that I regularly get compliments on.
(To be completely honest, I have also had Brazilian blowouts done, but in my opinion this oil only adds to the smoothness and helps me maintain the blowout between salon visits. ) I generally only wash my hair once a week to help maintain my color better, but the addition of this oil to my hair while I am blow drying it out makes it go much more smoothly.
To add to that, it smells wonderful! I regularly catch myself just smelling my hair throughout the day right after I’ve washed and dried my hair. I don’t know what all of you are complaining about with a heavy smell; it does not stink to my nose and usually what scent there is fades within a day or so, and I haven’t had one person yet comment that it had an overwhelming scent when I’m out and about.
And it does not weigh down my hair at all; I’ve used argan oils in the past that seemed like they were just adding weight to my hair, and this product is lightweight enough to allow my hair to show its natural volume while still keeping it smooth and shiny.
My stylist at my salon LOVES me because of how well I take care of my hair, and I have told her several times that at least part of it is due to this lovely oil. I can highly recommend it!.
Our Organic Mielle Pomegranate & Honey Curling Custard is every curly girls’ must have. This product is the perfect solution for dry thirsty curls and those looking for great curl definition and long-lasting shine.
The Pomegranate soothes frizzy hair while helping detangle and moisture the hair. The Honey acts a humectant adding moisture to the hair and serves as a great conditioner.
At first when I used this product, I came in heavy handed and it was flake central. But the smell was too good that I did not want to give up on it!. So second time around I read the instructions and purchased the additional products outlined to avoid flakes to test.
I used the oil and the leave in and I had no issues with flakes which was great. I didn’t waste money since I got the results I wanted, right?. Well the scent of the almond and mint oil was actually too strong and overpowered the main reason I purchased this product, the scent.
I didn’t want to smell like mint. I wanted that sweet floral scent. So I gave this test another round and found that I can experience little flakes with just the leave in conditioner!. Keyword, little.
So don’t expect here to be none. But it is less noticeable and you don’t have to worry. So just purchase the leave in to use in conjunction with the product and you’ll be a happy customer! Sucks you have to use another product but the scent is worth it :).
This stuff is incredible! I’ve been natural since 2015 and i’ve never really been able to keep my curls intact and moisturized passed wash day due to lack of/ retaining moisture. Anyone says that this stuff is awful is using it wrong.
All you need is the leave in conditioner and this jelly, like it says on the back of the container. I’m confident in my fro again and have finally found a routine and product that works after 7 years of mistrals.
and it’s SO hydrating. Amazing hold without it being crunchy. My wash day was yesterday and all i had to do this morning was put a little oil in it. A little bit goes a long way. This stuff is a God send.
I also used it in my fiancé’s hair and he’s obsessed as well. We’re only buying mielle from here on out.
A rich, creamy treatment designed to hydrate and repair damaged hair. With continued use, this highly effective mask revitalizes hair, restoring shine and manageability. The argan oil in the Intense Hydrating Mask will also protect the hair from further damage caused by environmental or chemical agents.
Pros: Seals cuticle before styling, acts as a styling barrier, smooths, softens, adds mega shine, smells wonderful, If you have long thick hair that doesn’t style well this basically forces it to relax and conform.
Cons: You must know your limits with the amount you use, it may take a few uses to find the correct amount to not make hair greasy. Also, it is very expensive. This stuff is top tier. I have very long, thick, wavy, course hair that has multiple levels of porosity from older damage.
This transforms my hair almost completely. If you are someone that has to straighten hair BEFORE you curl it because it so frizzy/wavy this will help drastically! I still have to straighten my baby curl/waves around face but it helps smoothen and almost re-texturize my hair.
Depending on how much hair you have you will want to put on less or more. With my hair being lower mid back length I use a glob a little bigger than a quarter and start from my ends up and then put in a clip bun to help air dry and seal product in so it doesn’t hit my back and shirt creating a product or wet spot.
This cream does exactly what it says it does and it still exceeds expectations! I work in healthcare and so my hair has been through a lot being pulled in all directions from rubber bands on N95s and being in tight buns to go under scrub caps… so I’m no stranger to frizz.
My hair has been extremely dry and I’ve been struggling with products leaving residue so I was excited to try something new. I did not condition my hair in the shower to really get a good feel of how well this cream is and is it ever hydrating!! My hair feels amazing, there’s no residue (despite me putting way too much in) at all and my frizz is practically erased! I let it air dry and it brought a lot of definition to my waves.
I put in a picture of my hair the next day to show how well it works! After sleeping on it and everything my hair still looks great and is so soft and hydrated with zero residue. I will definitely be purchasing again and recommending to friends!.
I live in California, but it might as well be Florida in July every day for me. My fine hair gets so frizzed! It also has a “personality disorder” – it does not know if it’s straight or curly. Sure, I classify it straight (because I straighten more than I curl), but I couldn’t tell you what it is naturally.
(It’s like a nightmare of being part straight, part curly and part crimped – what do you call that?!) My fine, identity crisis hair makes frizz hard to tackle. It requires a multi-step approach, both when cold and thermal styling.
This is the first product I begin with to smooth and control my hair, period. It is the prelude to a long orchestra to make it tamable! If I am cool styling I’ll follow it with one of the tundra of hair oils I have then a hairspray or pomade, or if I’m using a hot titanium device to straighten or curl I’ll follow this product with a heat-safe hairspray (I use It’s A 10’s Miracle Volumizing Blowdry Spray that specifies it’s safe for damp to dry thermal styling) AND third a spray thermal protector (Gisou or Morrocanoil’s spray-type heat protectors are my favorites).
You are thinking: “V21988, you use a lot of product — what do you have to say about this particular one? What on earth does it do for you, and what could it do for me?” In a nutshell: when I do not begin with this styling prep cream, my hair is not as shiny, or as smooth or as wonderfully DE-FRIZZED as when I don’t use it! That goes for any post-shower trifecta! I have extremely complex and problematic hair; it’s like people with severe high blood pressure.
Sometimes they need a diuretic (that’s in the mix a lot, so I’ll classify the diuretic “first”), then an alpha or beta blocker then yet a third pill to control their severe condition! This hydrating cream is like my hair’s diuretic, it’s always in the mix and it’s first because my hair has severe issues!.

PLEASE PLEASE DO NOT CHANGE THE FORMULA. It has taken me years to find a combination of products that work on my hair and do not irritate my scalp. And I have found it all in one line. I initially purchased the Curling cream for my son, it works beautifully on his 4a curls the leave in not so much.
I ran out of my hair care product that did good enough but I was always looking for something better. I have 3c hair and the Curling cream was the first I tried. OMG my curls were soft not crunchy or hard, not frizzy after air drying or using a hairdryer.
I just recently tried the leave-in afraid that it would irritate my scalp. EVERYTHING irritates my scalp EXCEPT THIS. The bottle is a small issue if you promise to not change this formula you can leave the bottle the same and I will continue to transfer the product to another spray bottle that is not a big issue to me.
This product is amazing! It took us from the pictures at the top to the ones at the bottom. My son has very sensitive skin and this product doesn’t cause any breakouts or hives. His hair is soft and silky.
I’ve even noticed a difference in how soft his hair feels right after a bath, before I put the product in. I originally just bought this curl creme by itself, because I was worried about my son having a reaction to it.
Since he didn’t, and the product works so well, I came back to this website today to purchase the whole kit. I decided to leave a review (which I never do) because I am so pleased and excited about how great this product is.
Because I am raving about this curl creme, I want it to be clear that I do not know the owners of Young King Hair Care, and I did not receive any free product. I am an honest, genuine, and very satisfied, customer.
Absolutely Love This Cream For My Sons Ethnic Hair. He’s Part Arab, Part African American So His Curls Are Tight And Often Get Tangled And Frizzy. This Cream Helped Tame The Frizz, Spiralize His Curls And Keep His Hair Feeling Soft.
It’s Easy To Run My Fingers Through His Dry Hair When This Cream Is In It. Smells Good Too!.
Easily sculpt, shape and define hair with Tea Tree Shaping Cream. This strong-hold styling cream keeps strands in place for hours, while leaving a clean, matte finish with botanical ingredients that leave your hair smelling great.
I have used this for more than 2 years now. Provides a great hold and just the right amount of shine. It does hold your hair stiff, but does not give that ultra stiff and stick like feel that you get from Gels.
Which is great for me. Tip: Ensure you rub is thoroughly in your palms before applying and do not apply too much of it in a single area, try to brush them with your fingers.
I have very thick wavy, unruly hair that has to be thinned by my barber to be manageable. I have gone through countless products that seem to work at first, but as the day wears on my hair inevitably shifts out of place.
This product is amazing and I wish I had tried it sooner. My hair stays manageable all day, and the smell is fantastic.

Finally I have found a product that makes my fine bleached hair, which very much like to knot, look healthy. My hair gets thanks to the product enough hold, are not weighed down, have shine and some volume and in addition I do not necessarily have to apply a leave-in additionally.
The hair is already almost “slippery” with little product. Am very happy that I have found it. May never be missing again!!! I can only recommend it if you are looking for a product that does not overload the hair.
Two pump puffs in the wet hands and distribute on wet hair to the entire length, knead the hair so that you hear real squeak and then blow dry with diffuser. The results are just great.
I was told by a couple of Ulta sales women that I would love this product. Sadly it wasn’t true for me. I used it twice and the cream was greasy. In fact it was challenging to wash off my hands. When it dried, my hair wasn’t soft.
My hair felt sticky. It did soften up after it completely dried. The product pulled down my curls to waves. (And no, I didn’t use too much. ) It’s going to be returned.
I have very fine, very long, very wavy hair that WANTS to be curly, but because it is so fine and so long (waist-butt length and I’m not willing to cut it lol) t it just gets weighed down so easily and I usually have sad, pulled/stretched out limp frizzy baby waves.
but my hair is also naturally really dry so I have to use conditioning products and finding a balance between moisture and lightweight is just a nightmare. to put it into perspective, I have been dealing with this issue since my hair got wavy/curly during puberty (12ish) and I am now 24 and JUST found an acceptable solution!!! and its THIS!!! it’s the PERFECT combo of moisture, definition, curl enhancement, and frizz control all without being heavy at all.
this really boosts my sad fine waves up to curls like I would have if my hair was shorter, without actually cutting it shorter. tons of volume and NO frizz! I’m in love!! the only thing is it takes a few tries to figure out the ideal amount for you.
too little and theres not as much curl enhancement/definition (still looks good tho if fluffy yet frizz free waves are what u want) too much and it can be a bit crunchy (but u can “scrunch” out the crunch and then its fine) but the right amount and it’s the stuff of dreams.
and aside from that its very quick and easy to use. if you’re having trouble with this (either not enough hold or too much and crunchy) just play around with the amount I promise this is a miracle when you figure out how to use it for you.
I’ve tried sooooo many products and even different methods of hair care and styling over the years, and was the queen of the “curly cocktail” (mixing a bunch of products) so believe me I am in awe that I can now get away with just one true styling product and have better results than ever.
I still use leave in conditioner and a hair oil spray for moisture and detangling but this is the only styling product with hold that I need at all. and it smells amazing!! words can not do this product justice tbh, it’s a true miracle and deserves way more than 5 stars.
Moisture Infusion Styling Creme Be done with heat damage. Glycerin, shea butter and beeswax help to stop heat tools from harming your hair naturally, unlike other products laced with bad, drying alcohols.
Never worry about dry hair again. Every time you style your hair, you are automatically moisturizing it at the exact same time with this product.
Im not sure if my hair is getting thicker this soon but it feels like it. I have noticed my hair does feel different which is a positive. I definitely will purchase more products next month. I wish the moisturizer cream came in the size of #1.
Since my hair is short I. apply the products to my hair by the old fashion way of oiling my scalp. I dont miss a section this way. My arthritis makes it a challenge to pump out the regrowth oil but I am figuring it out.
I might have to pour the oil into a small jar and dip my finger into the oil to rub my scalp. I know it will be a minute before my hair looks fantastic but one day at a time. I wish I had known about this company sooner.
This is the only moisturizer I will use. My hair has always been so dry. I listened to Gwen and started using the moisturizer on a daily basis and my hair is much more moisturized and looking healthier.
My Sister has to clip my ends since I didnt have access to the Beautician. It has made a difference and my curls are more defined now.

My hair is fine, tightly coiled with normal porosity. It doesn’t shine on its own, but it takes kindly to oils and butters for a shiny look. I used this cream as the C and the matching oil as the O in the LCO method to do a rollerset on wet hair for volume and stretch.
I didn’t use a holding product nor did I want or expect hold. Frizz makes it seem like I have more hair than I do. Once the set was dry from the bonnet dryer, my hair was silky, shiny, fluffy and soft, as usual, and it frizzed out within an hour or two.
After that, I wore a curly, frizz fro for a day then a curly, frizz puff for 2 or 3 more days. I liked the look and the product helped me achieve what I was going for, no big deal. Once my hair was thoroughly parched and stretched out with no more curl, I used the C and O again to convert it to a fluffy twist out.
I didn’t add any water, but quickly realized that this cream is very wet. My hair started to snatch back almost immediately like I wet it down. I used a fingertip amount on each twist, my hair is just past shoulder length, and chased it with the matching oil The next day, I took the twists down and my ends looked more like a stringy wash and go than a twist out.
Not exactly the look I was going for, but I’m always ok with my natural texture. My hair was not fluffy or shiny, at all. Not a fan of that, but I was able to manipulate it into a dry looking bunbun for two more days.
For baby fine, afro hair that doesn’t shine on its own, like mine, this product is best on freshly washed hair and some type of heated drying is probably essential to make sure the cream thoroughly melts into the hair.
Otherwise, the hair may look stiff, dusty and dry. I usually bonnet dry my styles and I’ll never use this in an air dry situation again.
I used this product for a wash n go using the LCO method with my tgin green tea leave-in conditioner and the Melanin Haircare pure oil blend. I then followed it up with the Curlsmith curl defining souffle.
This was my first time using any Melanin Haircare products, while I use the other products I mentioned regularly. The cream was thick, absorbed well into my hair, and worked nicely with my other products.
My curls were defined, moisturized, and I noticed much less shrinkage than when I do a wash n go with my leave-in and gel alone. My hair isn’t stiff, has great volume, and lots of movement. I did notice my hair was very greasy the next day, though I do tend to pile on the product so I probably only have myself to blame for that one.
I’m currently on day 4 of my wash n go and haven’t had to refresh my curls at all. My only real complaint is the smell. While I didn’t love the smell when I first started using it, the scent wasn’t very strong so I didn’t think it would bother me.
When I released my hair from my pineapple on day 2, I immediately noticed my hair had an unpleasant scent. (I don’t usually notice my hair having any discernible scent unless I’ve used a strongly scented oil to separate my curls for a twist out.
) I’m not usually super sensitive to smells, but this bothers me enough to consider ditching an otherwise great product. Like I said, I do tend to use a lot of product, so I’ll see if the smell continues to bother me after making a concerted effort to use less.
I have thick, medium length 4a hair that tends to be very dry.
I have some problematic areas of my hair that is very dry and brittle. I don’t quite no if it’s damaged hair or higher porosity. With good techniques my hair looks moisturized however even though it looks moisturized it feels dry even when applying products.
However, when I applied this product to these areas it looked and felt great. My hair is currently in plats and it look shiny, however I did do a fenugreek treatment before. I have not taken down my plats as yet.
But so far so good. I know when I wash my hair these problem areas will return being dry and brittle as this is always the case. But I truly like how it feels. My hair is generally healthy except for these areas.
I am hoping that this product could help these areas become healthy. And if not restored at least it is being nourished. I had high expectations for this product. But I didn’t even consider it helping my problematic areas.
It’s still a bit early to give a good feedback however its looking good. The 12 months use though I only knew about it after watching a review video. Wondering now if I purchased to much. However I am usually heavy handed.
But it’s so thick and nice seemed like I didn’t use much from the container to achieve my usual results if that makes sense.
For medium to coarse hair that needs shine and moisture. High gloss, leave in conditioner that evens out moisture level in hair. Provides conditioning with heat protection. Sleekens split ends and tames frizz.
Soy Protein Biopolymer provides anti frizz benefits without buildup. Wheat Amino Acids help the hair retain moisture while adding high shine. Moringa Seed Extract, rich in Vitamins A and C, enhances natural color and shine.
Work into wet hair. Blow out or dry naturally. Use on strays throughout the day.
I’ve been wanting to try Oribe for a while, and I was looking for something that would help with flyaways when I received this box. Needless to say, I was excited to try this out. First, the bad. I work in an industry where I can’t wear heavily scented products.
This cream doesn’t smell bad, but it is fairly strong so I have to be careful about how much I use. Second, which isn’t a real con as it’s to be expected with these products, it doesn’t last all day.
My flyaways do start popping up by the end. of the work day. It’s still better than nothing though, and I assume people without scent restrictions could just smooth more on after a few hours. Now for the good! The scent is pretty nice.
Not something I’d go for in a perfume, but it’s pleasant. I really like that this is a water-based silicone product rather than silicone-based because it’s easier to distribute throughout my hair. Straight silicone products make my hair filmy after a couple of days, but this one doesn’t.
It also does a decent job at smoothing my hair and reducing flyaways. It’s not a gel so it isn’t perfect, but it does a great job of adding shine and smoothness without making my hair look oily or requiring me to wash my hair more often.
If I need to use it multiple days in a row, I just put a small dab in my hand with some water, rub my hands together, and smooth it over my head the next days. I’d probably personally rate this a 4. 5/5 because of the scent being strong, but because it’s more of a personal issue than a fault of the product, I’ll give it 5/5.
I’ve been using this product for 2 weeks now so I feel like I’ve had adequate time to test it and give an honest review. So far, I’m loving what I’m seeing! I recently took my naturally dark brunette hair to a light blonde balayaged look and the bleaching and lightening process took a bit of a toll on my locks.
My hair was dry and brittle and, combined with the cold winter, suffered from split ends and a general lack of moisture. I religiously used this Oribe cream on my freshly washed hair (about 2-3 times a week) after I showered.
Worked a generous amount into my ends since my hair is pretty long. First of all, I love the smell. Minor point but I just love the salon smell of it. As for moisture, it definitely adds a good amount of moisture back into my thirsty hair.
The other big draw for me is that it controls crazy flyaways and frizz, which I seem to suffer from a lot more in the winter months. I’ll keep using this as part of my hair regimen and see what it does after a few more weeks of use, but I can say that I am liking what Im seeing so far.
My split ends look like they’re being repaired and my hair looks healthier in general, especially the bleached dried ends. Overall another win from Oribe.
My natural hair is very very fine, so normally I wouldn’t need a product like this. However, right now I have a bleached ombre look, and my hair is very dry at the ends. Since I’ve never really had to deal with this problem, I’ve been trying a few different solutions to find out what works best without weighing my hair down too much.
This product works GREAT for conditioning and moisturizing my dry ends! I only use a dime-sized amount on the lower 6-10 inches of my hair, and use a much more lightweight leave-in spray near the roots.
It works like a dream. My hair is practically as soft as its natural state! I would not, however, say it does too much for the naturally occurring frizziness when air drying. Nor have I tried it on dry hair.
The only thing that may keep me from purchasing more in the future is the high price tag. Otherwise, I highly recommend.

Love this product because it doesn’t leave a build up on your hair or white flakes. I’ve used other products that do and I hate it. Soon as I wash my hair with the Almond moisturizing shampoo which by the way suds up nice, and really cleans your hair, I use the almond leave-in conditioner by design essentials my hair comes out beautifully manageable.
I use the daily moisturizer every 2 days to keep it moistures. I love basically all the products it’s a must to use all the products together for your hair to to come out looking beautiful. This is my honest opinion I have found nothing in the stores or over the counter that works and, I spent a lot of money trying.
Design Essential products are very reasonably priced where you can afford it, plus they always give you coupons to use towards your purchases so far I’ve been happy with my purchases, the time it takes to get to your home delivery, as well how well the products perform and my hair is between a 3 and 4 a mixture of grades in my hair.
These products always performs the way they say if done properly using only the Design Essentials to compliment each other to produce Fabulous results. It really makes me feel good that finally people of color have found products that work!.
This moisturizing lotion is great! It is thick enough to add moisture but light enough not to weigh your hair down! It also smells very nice and fresh. In the attached photo I have layered this lotion under the curl defining creme gel.
My hair was still going strong on day 4 in this picture! My hair retained it’s moisture and definition for over a week! After day 4 I just continued to spray the daily curl revitalizer spray and my hair felt great, very moisturized with no gritty residue! This whole line of products is wonderful and works very well together! I highly recommend this product and the whole line!.

This product feels nourishing for my shoulder-length curly hair. In case it helps, this is my process: Wash hair (fine with wide sausage curls and ringlets) with very very mild products, Towel-squeeze (absolutely no rubbing!), Apply the product from the ends almost to the roots, Twist and settle the curls where I want them to generally fall, Let it dry as naturally as possible (in Winter this means in the car on the way to work with the heater on).
When its dry I gently squeeze the slightly stiff curls to release them into lovely soft shiny locks. If I touch my hair before it has finished drying naturally its more likely to have either a slight fuzz halo or fly-way bits.
Happy curling! PS: I’ve used other products that fiercely knot the hair – even more than curly hair does naturally – but Davroe doesn’t. In fact it seems to prevent the natural knotting. Thank you Davroe!.
I love this curl cream. It smells so good and a little product goes a long way. I love the Davroe range in general and the ethics behind them, but its great that the products are also top quality. I have fine, curly hair and this cream helps give my curls definition and shine.
The only addition that would make it perfect would be if it also helped to control frizz a bit better. I just use a serum for this when my hair is dry which works wonder. But I’ll definitely continue to reach for this curl cream over others I’ve tried.
Love this product. Defines my curls perfectly. I have long hair – below my shoulders. I put about 50c piece worth in my palm, rub over both hands the put it through my damp hair (with my head down) thoroughly.
When done, I scrunch my hair completely. I prefer to let it dry naturally but using the hair drier is ok too.

I received both shampoo and conditioner as part of a sampling. Since I use them both together and at the same time I felt best to review both of them together. The first thing I noticed with the shampoo is that it had very strong perfume scent.
Usually my shampoos have more of a floral or fruit or tropical scent but this one reminded me of perfume right away which I did not care for. However the scent did not linger after rinsing and it was not overpowering.
I felt like I almost had to shampoo twice although I don’t wash my hair everyday to prevent drying. The conditioner was impossible for me to open with what hands in the shower. I had to actually stop showering to grab a towel so that I could dry my hands to open the jar.
The conditioner also had slight perfume scent but it was not as powerful as the shampoo. I like that the conditioner was thick and creamy so thick that I scooped it out instead of squeezing like in a bottle.
The scent on this also did not linger after rinsing. I have wavy hair and I feel like it did define my waves a bit more than usual. Perhaps with more use over a longer period of time it would be more impressive result.
For all the results were pretty decent I just didn’t care for the sense or how difficult the conditioner was to open.
First off I love Kerastase hair products. However I have wasted money accidentally purchasing shampoos by them containing sulfates so this shampoo made me happy and as an added bonus, this is formulated for curly hair! I have no idea what type of hair I have but it’s basically wavy and frizzy not coiled curly but curly wavy if that makes any sense? I have not used this shampoo without using the conditioner that goes along with it so I can’t speak to how this works without it but I feel like a hair care works best when they are paired with their are complementing product and for my hair the shampoo along side the conditioner works really well.
My hair is soft it smells great and unlike some sulfate free shampoos the stuff lathers is up really well in the shower! so for me this is a five-star product and I have nothing bad to say about it. I don’t use curl enhancing products to actually enhance my curls I use them to hydrate because I tend to blow dry my hair straight so again can’t speak to how well it’s curling my hair but I can tell you that my hair definitely feels more hydrated and the more hydrated your hair is the more your curls will bounce and shine and look pretty.
I did receive this shampoo as part of a promotion so it was free but these are my actual results it’s not like your product will be confiscated unless you give it a five star review lol.
I am in my mid forties, with hair down halfway down my thighs with ballayage. Hair has gt some greys, is fine-ish in texture with a clump at the crown that is coarse. Knots and breaks easily. I tried the keratase gel cream a few times.
It didn’t do anything on dry hair apart from smelling absolutely divine. I then tried to dampen the dry hair to see if that would work but my fingers felt sticky icky. I then tried it on damp hair a few times and let it naturally dry.
Scrunching it to get better curls. My hair simply looked like wurzel gummidge on a really really bad hair day on the 1st time on damp hair. You know the look like you’ve been through a tornado a couple of times.
Now when I put my hair in a bun it usually clumps together just below the neck like extinct creatures are harbouring in it somewhere. I did find that after I washed it 3rd time this didn’t happen, the hair was a little smoother to but fizzing was more than usual.
3rd time of application I got all the excess water out and applied on wet hair and again let it dry naturally. Results were better no grenade gone off disaster in the hair. Did the Scrunching as it was drying but I was left with more of a wavy look than curls, so maybe it relaxed my curls more than they should.
However it did make a difference to the breakage and falling out of my hair. Still went back to being frizzy after a few hours of application. Not as much knotting and clumping pre use. This didn’t work for me maybe it may work for others.
I will still be using it as it does have some benefits and see if there are any further benefits or results. I did have to use a lot of it due to the length of my hair. Everyone’s hair is different not everyone has the same hair texture etc as me, so it may work well for others.
I’ve asked a few friends to try it and it seems to work well on shorter hair styles.
How to use: Section hair, apply a small amount to hands, rub together, work the product into dry or damp hair. Do not rinse. Style as desired. Perfect for: Twist- outs, braid- outs, finger coils, rod sets and wash and go.
When I first used this leave-in I didnt use it as directed because I was basing my judgement off of looks/texture of the product. My hair was wet then I appied the product and thats when I realized having your hair wet vs damp waters down the product.
So with this leave-in please follow the instrustions when applying. Upon second use and application it didnt feel moisturizing to my strands. I really had to work the product into my hair. Yes, it has alot of oils in it, yes it made my curls pop a little, but it felt like Nivea lotion (when it first came out idk about now, I dont use that lotion) texture and all.
If you know, you know. It doesnt feel as tho its sitting on my strands but it doesnt feel as tho it penatraded my strands. This is a great product and ive seen it work wonders for others especially for the price, but not for me.
The smell is nice and it DOES linger just in case you don’t like it. My low porosity type 4C hair drunk this product up! I deep conditioned my hair with a homemade avocado mixture, applied Design Essentials instant conditioner underneath and then used my hooded dryer for about an hour.
After rinsing that out I applied my leave in conditioner and then this leave in cream right on top. I sat under the dryer for another 40 mins or so. Afterwards I applied a light drizzle of almond oil to seal everything with even more indirect heat.
It’s not necessary to layer conditioning products like I did, but I have EXTREME low porosity type 4 hair and heat is the only way I can get any moisture. The formulation of this product shows that it’s low porosity friendly (read the ingredients)! I could immediately tell that my hair was moisturized after leaving the hooded dryer.
Layering products underneath this cream and using heat will give you maximum moisture. I will stock up on this affordable leave in cream! I knew this was the real deal when I noticed that after applying it, I didn’t see a lot of product residue sitting on top of my strange.
Make sure to apply this to detangled soaking wet hair!!!!.

I have very long Wavy hair that I dye pitch black about every 6-8 months with root touch up and a gloss on my ends in between and then I only wash every 7 days, one of my best friends/hairstylist turned me on to it the first time we dyed it black.
I swear by this stuff to keep my hair moisturized!! I use a little over a dime sized drop and then add in 2 pumps of the boosting C leave in conditioner on nearly dry hair and the softness and shine it gives me is everything! I’ve got my sister and my mom hooked on it! I bought a tube as a get ready for the wedding day gift for my bff and she loooves it! I can’t rave enough especially with how long the 5ml will last me and that it smells amazing!! ✨.
I’ve purchased this product from Sam’s Club before (as well as directly from R+Co) and never had an issue. My latest purchase however is noticeably different than previous purchases. The smell is very different and smells of chemicals, while other R+Co products smell very good.
Also the texture and thickness is also different. I’m not sure if it’s fake or a bad batch, but I won’t be buying this from Sam’s Club again.
I almost never review products. This one deserved my attention. My hair has been in a state of major damage from highlights, changes in hormones, thinning, breakage etc. I read some reviews and decided to try High Dive.
Wow! It somehow was able to cut through the damage and smooth and moisturize my locks and add some shine too. I am sold! I am over 70 and have seriously dry skin and hair. I love this stuff!!!.
