Cream eye shadow is a type of eye shadow that is specifically designed for mature skin. It is usually made with a lighter, more sheer formula that is easy to blend and build up. It also often contains ingredients that help to hydrate and smooth the skin, which can help to reduce the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles.

This eyelights cream in the color “strobe” is a luxurious highlight for your eyes that will leave you looking like you have a sparkle in your eye. While the product is nice and relatively unique in the current market, it’s not my favorite eye cream.
I prefer a stick format like Laura Mercier because its easier to apply. While this cream (while applied with fingers) coats pretty evenly, I found I had to work at it to make it less patchy and not super bright and overdone.
The color is also too cool-toned for my skin color and I think I would have preferred a warmer tone; though if you use a warmer matte eyeshadow underneath, it all evens out. RMS Beauty also sent a tool and I’m not sure how to use it as there were no instructions for it.
It dries more matte than glossy, if that is what you prefer. Overall, it’s a cute product and it definitely makes you feel dressed up and brighter for special occasions but I think there are better products out there.

Love the Cream Eyeshadows. I sampled the plum fairy and cocoa latte. I prefer matte eye shadows because I am older 51 and I feel like shimmer does not suit me although I want to sample a few of the shimmers.
I am fair skinned and I love these colors. I also wear contact lenses which is why I prefer cream products. I like the simplicity of applying these with my finger and the color can be built upon. I feel like this shadow gives you complete control over how sheer or dark you want it to be.
It also does not feel heavy at all, it lasts ALL DAY and yet washes off easily. I am excited to test out more colors and will definitely purchase full sizes of what I sampled so far!.
I got DAHLIA first, its gorgeous pesrlescent metallic beigy pink with very tiny silver shimmers. It is quite sheer. Shadow is very creamy, spreads evenly not patchy. Smoothing the lid, highlighting it beautifully.
You can leave it as is or put powder shadow on top. I love round container with a clear lid like in a picture of another reviewer. Ingredients are organic and natural, made in USA. I came back for more: PLUM FAIRY is very prettymodern marsala type color shown in a photo.
Its satin/matte dark plum/brown without shimmer, glitter. Very opaque! Great organic cream shadows🙌Next i got WISTERIA, it is pearlescent metallic silvery lavender pink with tiny silver shimmers. It is semi-sheer.
Highlighty shade, just like DAHLIA. Very happy with all their cream eyeshadows, highly recommend! So then i got these three matte shadows. None have any shimmer or glitter, look like skin:1 DULCHE DE LECHE is creamy/beige, perfect for all over the lid2 COCOA LATTE mid tonE chocolate brown milk chocolate, perfect for crease3 DARK COCOA is dark neutral or cool toned brown dark chocolate, perfect for outer corner.
Love all 3 of these, use them a lot! First one is harder in consistency. Second and third are softer and more easily spreadable. Highly recommend these!PS if you want to see swatches, go to Instagram they are under the tag LaurenBrookeEyeshadows.
This eye shadow is not overtly vivid or intense, rather subtle and natural. Good for any woman over 21 year old, maybe not what a teen would want. I use a dry, small make up brush I think it is actually for lipstick and achieve exactly the look I want.

Reviews From Real Customers
I bought this in Midnight Sapphire and Copper Chic to add a bit of colour to my winter looks. Both sticks are nicely packaged (make great gifts) and the Copper Chic is really glamourous looking as the outside of the stick is finished in copper chrome – makes it look very expensive! Both colours are well pigmented and they share the same warm pinky/copper sparkle – the sparkles are very small, but enough to catch the light without looking like you’ve been making Christmas Cards! The Copper Chic is a warm mid-brown (the colour of milk chocolate) and could be used as a very subtle liner or as a shadow.
The Midnight Sapphire is a more obvious colour and works well on my fair skin as a liner and also as a shadow. The Sapphire is a warm blue with an almost lilac/mauve tone to it; this with the warm colour sparkle makes it very easy to wear – true blues can be quite harsh and aging, but this is a very pretty colour and would work equally well on a proper smokey eye or a lighter daytime look.
These shadow sticks live up to their name and do not budge easily, only creasing after a long day without any touch ups. An interesting point to note is that both colours can be ‘polished’ to a more glossy shine – apply the colour and then buff it gently with your finger tip.
This works really well on the centre of your eyelids to bring a more highlighted effect.
I have used these No Budge Shadow Sticks from e. l. f. for years (although they could’ve had a different name originally) but this review is for the current shades I own; the Mint Collection, Champagne, Rose Quartz, Cookies n’ Dreams.
I was prompted to write this after I kept almost buying the pink shade, Rose Quartz, and finally did but wish I hadn’t. Unfortunately the pink looks like a lovely, creamy, light pink but pigmented product online and in person it barely shows anything on my lighter skin tone.
I’ve tried primers, changing placement and about the only thing that kind of works is using it as a base for pink shadows. It doesn’t really brighten the colours like a stark white or deep black but if able to apply it evenly and get a shadow or pigment on before it “sets” it does add staying power and some pigment but the downside is it impairs blendability.
I tried taking a picture to show the lack of colour but I couldn’t get anything to appear. I hope I can write a separate review for other shades, at least for the green mint and blue from Cookies n Dreams because I have bought the Mint stick 4 times (2 are still sealed but I know it is going to disappear from online at some point and I love it! So because more of my experiences are positive than negative I am giving 3 stars which in my book is average.
Not great but not bad by any means- but there are some at each end of that spectrum.
(Disclaimer: This review is for the shade Perfect Pearl!) I saw this product on TikTok and immediately wanted it because I love the bright waterline look! However, this was sold out everywhere so I had to track it for months until it finally restocked.
First, I understand the hype! It is very sparkly, creamy, and bright. When I put it on, it really completed my look! I also used it on my inner corners instead of my usual highlighter. However, it did not last on my waterline the way everyone on TikTok was saying it would.
When I later checked on my makeup, although jt was still on my waterline, it was dull and not as bright. I don’t mind reapplying though so that’s fine! It is very pretty but it doesn’t last. I haven’t tried it as an actual eyeshadow stick because I have really oily eyelids but otherwise, I definitely recommend!.

I am in love with this product. I love the matte+poreless liquid foundation as well, and I got this in the same shade (classic ivory). I should note, it is a tiny bit lighter in color than the liquid (which for me was fine).
I would say it’s light/medium coverage, but buildable. I was looking for a powder foundation bc summer in my hometown is sweltering, and I have oily skin. This product is incredible! I absolutely love it.
I wish like anything that it was around when I was a teen. It’s very easy to use, so very beginner friendly, but also extremely effective. I use it with some concealer and it looks great. The applicator is great, although I do recommend going over it with a big brush just to make sure it’s all smoothed out.
And btw, it’s great for oil control. I know powder foundation may not be for everyone, but for me it’s a breeze to apply and feels light as air. Truly incredible product!.
I just read in another review that you discontinued the color Leather. Why would you do that? I have very fair skin and use the Leather on my brow bone. I love the quality and smooth application of the Tatto just like everyone else, so I have no idea why you would discontinue any color.
Also, as others have stated here, please add more matte colors. Eye-popping shiny, metallic colors may be in all the magazines, but it doesn’t work for a day time job. This is a great product and would love to see more matte nude colors, especially for my super fair skin.
Thank you for a wonderful eye makeup! I apply this with one of my own makeup brushes or a makeup sponge over eye shadow base, and it goes on like butter!.
This creamy and water resistant formula makes for the perfect shadow. Ulta’s Matte Cream Eye Shadow acts as a primer/shadow 2-in-1 that allows for longer wear. Though creamy in texture, the end result is more like a powder eliminating the possibility of creasing throughout the day.
Formulated with Mango Seed Butter which contains essential fatty acids as well as C & E vitamins. The included Evening Primrose & Safflower Oils contain vitamin C and Omega 6 fatty acids that sooth and moisturise the skin.
I have a big collection of cream and liquid shadows, many of which are matte. There is a lack of emollience in this formula that when this product dries down it’s like a powdery crackled Sahara desert.
If you have any texture to your lids this will only enhance that problem. I have tried this product twice, I bought it a few years ago and decluttered it. I recently repurchased to give it another chance because I love the color and same thing, I’m going to declutter it.
I wish the dry down didn’t become so ridiculously dried out, the neutral colors are exactly what I love for daily 5 min office-appropriate makeup. If the formula changes I will give it another shot, but right now this isn’t for me.
I will still recommend this product to people who don’t have texture on their lids because when it dries it does NOT budge and it lasts all day. It’s beautiful. But it’s too matte for me.
I absolutely love this eyeshadow. I have the shades Game Over and Vintage Beauty. Both are beautiful colors that help me achieve a very natural makeup look for every day, but can easily be layered for more pigment.
Although I love these, they are not budge-proof. I have very oily eyelids and these won’t necessarily stay matte all day for me; however, since I go for a natural look with light layers, it still doesn’t look bad as it starts collecting in my crease.
I just lightly tap out the eyeshadow again and move on with my day! That being said, I don’t think you will be disappointed purchasing this product. These are a great find that almost feels like Ulta’s best kept secret.
Create eyes that mesmerise with the Always on Cream Eye Shadow by Smashbox. Developed with a creamy consistency and cloud-like texture, the formula blends seamlessly across lids, delivering a soft matte finish.
The pigmented cream eyeshadow features a built-in priming benefit, to help protect from creasing and flaking, encouraging colour-true longevity. Its versatile nature means it can be worn alone or in combination with other formulas for high-impact results, helping you to achieve expressive looks or soft styles effortlessly.
I love it! My favorites are sienna, guava, and barista. I agree with someone who said “rose” isn’t a very accurate color description, at least on my light-ish olive toned skin. I still like it a lot, but it seems more like a neutral for warm skin.
I like the others better. Some tips: do not use primer under it. It makes it really splotchy. I’ve tried several primers that usually make my eyeshadow glued on my lids. Not the case here. Likewise, make sure your eye moisturizer is 100% dried.
And if you want to add another layer, wait until it is dry first. You can mix them together (sepia and rose together look better on me). And you can put shimmer or whatever on top. It’s a great primer.
And it doesn’t seem to move with sweat or rain or oiliness. Just make sure your lids are primer-free. Also I definitely think this is best to apply with your (clean!) little finger or ring finger. Sponges have been a mess for me.
Also caveat: if you do mess up, it is staying there. So I do it before the rest of my makeup and keep some makeup remover and a q-tip nearby just in case.
I received this product from TopBox Circle completely free in exchange for an honest review. The shade I was sent is “Greige” and it’s not a shade I would have chosen for myself. It’s more of a dirty brown colour and not something that I think looks well with my complexion.
Aside from that, this cream eyeshadow really does have STAYING POWER. Holy moly once it’s on there it’s stuck! I left my makeup on overnight (which is so bad for you, I know! 🙈) and when I got up the next day it looked like I just put it on.
No smudges and no transfer onto the pillow. It was honestly amazing! I first used it as a base underneath some bronze shadows and even when the bronze wore off, this stuff was still intact and totally un-creased.
My eye makeup remover had a bit of struggle getting it off as well, so this eyeshadow definitely lived up to it’s claims of “always on. ” I will note that it doesn’t make the best base, only because it dries down very quick so there’s not a lot of time to place down other shadows on top for them to stick well.
The second time I used it, I tried to blend it with regular powder shadows, and that was a bit more difficult. As I said above, it dries down pretty quick so blending doesn’t really happen. It’s a pretty good product in terms of coverage and not creasing.
It’s a decent base if you layer your shadows before it dries down, and it really does last forever! I would more than likely repurchase this product but I would choose a different colour. #topbox #topboxcircle #trywithtopbox #freeproduct #gotitfree #freesample #trybeforeyoubuy #smashbox #beauty #makeup #cosmetics #crueltyfree #crueltyfreebeauty #beautyreview.
💚🫒💚 I received these products for free from Influenster and @smashboxcosmetics in exchange for my honest review. 💚🫒💚 I was gifted Smashbox Always On Cream Eyeshadow in Olive (Golden Green) that was used in today’s makeup look! ***** I start my makeup with my eyes first so I put on my lashes then did my eyeshadow using Smashbox Always On Cream Eyeshadow in Olive which you can see above! I put a little on my finger (it was super creamy) then applied to my eyelid.
I had a lot of fun with this! A little goes a LONG way!! The cream eyeshadow glided on really smooth the PIGMENT lemme tell you, it is absolutely amazing! No fall out like a lot of powder shadows do.

This creamy, long-wearing color meets exceptional skincare benefits and Broad Spectrum SPF protection. Chock-full of skin-loving ingredients, this breakthrough product delivers 5 benefits in one luxurious formula.
12-hour long-wearing color. Supercharged primer. Powerful brightening benefits. Smoothers the appearance of fine lines. Protects with Broad Spectrum SPF 15.
I found out about this product completely by chance and decided to give it a go, and I am absolutely enchanted!!! So versatile and with multiple benefits you can’t really find combined in any other single product.
First, to start with the SPF! I haven’t really heard of any other product that states having an SPF protection for the lids. It could be that there are some on the market that I am not aware of, and it could be that you can use some face products on the lids, but I haven’t found in my research any that are really clearly stating they are safe to use on the lids.
I believe the SPF comes from the minerals used, so it is physical protection that works immediately (as opposed to chemical components that work after being absorbed for 20 minutes). Don’t hold my word for it, check it up with manufacturer, this is conclusion that comes from my own understanding on how SPFs generally work, and I am not a certified expert.
So, I would buy for this reason, if nothing else, but there is more! Product can be used as an alone eye-shadow or you can mix and match shades to get a desired look. It covers wonderfully and shades give awaken look to the eye, all of them being skin-like and neutral, so the look is very natural and not overly heavy.
Another lovely thing is it comes with a wand applicator and you can work it with your fingers, or if you prefer, using a brush is also fine. Blends wonderfully, doesn’t crease at all. Gives matte velvety finish with just a little bit of barely noticeable subtle sparkle to enliven the skin.
Evens out skin tone and covers well, so works wonders if you have colored lid or veining, all to give you a natural looking healthy skin on the eyes. Practically a miracle! Further on – works as a primer if you want to add powder eye-shadow on top, gives it an even surface to hold on to while not being sticky and prolongs the wear.
Works best with other BareMinerals eye-shadows in terms of color-coordination, but it can be used just as well with other brands. Sets rather quickly, so it would be best to do one eye at a time and don’t go overboard with the amount of the product, a little works just perfect.
If you find the particular swatch is matching your skin tone rather well, you can even try using it as an under-eye concealer! The thing with the colors is that they are slightly tinted with the corrective tones – yellow for Soft Linen, peachy for Candlelit Peach, and so on, so choose shade that counteracts problematic tone you struggle with – if it is redness, dullness, dark circles – there is something for everyone.
Should I mention the price? Having a product that works as one as a primer, color corrector, eye-shadow, concealer and an unique SPF protector you can’t really find anywhere else instead of having 5 products and piling them one on top of the other not only is a good value but a time, storage and a nerve sever which are actually benefits that these products translate to in real life.
I got them in Soft Linen, Candlelit Peach and Sweet Spice and the only reason I didn’t get them all is that there is no way I could be using them all at once.
Oh this stuff is literally amazing. I love this 5-in-1 cream eyeshadow! It makes for a great primer and is very soft! I think this primer is also very pretty because it is not clear but rather comes in a very nice, natural looking taupe color.
There are other colors available to buy and I would recommend looking at all the colors to see what is right for you! I really absolutely love this stuff! My one and only complaint is that when I start to run out of it, I can tell there is still some in the little bottle that I just can’t reach! Sometimes I will stick a Q-tip into the bottle just so I am able to use the full amount of the product.
Overall I would highly recommend this cream eyeshadow!!.

Whike this product itself. the color and the texture and the ability to put it on. Is wonderful, the package design is horrible. First of all, the printing on the black portion makes it appear that’s the bottom of the container.
I spent a good 15 minutes trying to open it with that as the bottom, only to find out the clear glass is the bottom. But the clear glass container is too narrow. top to bottom. to be able to get a grip on it.
I’m 78 years old and still use eye makeup everyday and have never had a problem opening a product. I had to take this to my 49-year-old daughter and ask her to open it for me. Even jar grips didn’t work.
And she had a hard time at her young age!!! Redesign this productc container before I’ll buy it again.

I got praline (light) and espresso (dark) and apply it with my fingers as I find it picks up the product better than any brush. I apply praline all over the lid, this shade is pretty sheer but adds a nice glow.
Espresso on the outer corner adds a nice depth. I would say application is very beginner friendly and fool proof if you’re in a rush. Creasing is expected but easy to blend out with a finger. Compared to a Bobbi Brown eyeshadow stick that I got, these set down more tacky.
Both shades blend out easily with just the warmth of my fingers. Didn’t have any trouble getting mine open (I ordered around Oct/Nov 2021).

This is my favorite type of eyeshadow ever! I am blind in one eye and have nerve damage in the same eye. As a result that eye doesn’t blink as it should. As you can imagine this causes dryness, irritation and debris to get in this eye.
Powdered eyeshadow was a huge problem. However I’ve always loved makeup and your product allows me continue to wear eyeshadow but to have fun and be bold with it! I’m sure it is a lifesaver for others with sensitive or other eye issues.
Please don’t ever stop making it! I’d be so lost without it.
I really love these cream shadows as a base for my eyeshadow. They add a nice extra dimension, and give you a good base for your eyeshadow. I give 3 stars because alone, these are a nightmare. Your eyeliner is all over the place and you just look greasy and like a mess.
Would recommend like I said as an eyeshadow base, but needs to be set to look good.

I saw this product at half price in Skyward, and the BBAccess said I’d have a reward if a full sized product at £150/ points (only being offered full sized products at 200 points now 😲), so I bought it.
I LOVE Bobbi Brown shadow sticks, I’ve received a few as GWP, from events, and subscription boxes, and bought some at Boots when there was a points offer. I have dusty mauve, a lovely mid purple shade, opal pink? It’s gorgeous! Incandescent, (absolutely stunning) golden bronze, (deep but very pretty.
almost like foil, lovely for kids for Smokey eyes) taupe (great as a shadow base too ) and now skyward. Skyward is much lighter and greener than I expected, I thought it’d be a deeper gold with a hint of green.
I have pale skin and deep brown eyes, with freckles. It compliments my skin tone nicely. These sticks stay on all day, I use a brush to blend a tiny bit, not much, the sticks practically do it for you, and the colours are always beautiful.
I used to love full on glitter, but I’m 36, and I’ve been trying to find glitzy but more mature eyeshadows. I’m have dyslexia and need quick and easy makeup to use when in a rush, which is a lot, thanks ADHD 🙈 These fit into my routine perfectly, and my sometimes sensitive skin loves them.
I really do want every colour. You need to do a Christmas set of the wrong range in deluxe size 😍😍😍 I now own 3 of your eyeshadow palettes too 🙈.
I really like how easy these apply, their portabilaty and versatility. You can use them as a base, liner, or main shadow. They work well with other long-wear colors or in combination with powder shadows.
However you apply them they will look the same at the end of the day, never fading, rubbing or wearing off, no matter how much you sweat! I always use one of these as a lid color. I swipe and pat with my finger.
If I use them as my crease and brow color I do have to work one eye at a time. Once you swipe the color on you have about 30 sec to blend it out before it sets. You can build up your coverage but after a while you can easily learn the pressure you need to apply the right amount of product in the first swipe.
The pigments are well saturated so I apply with a light hand and blend out with a brush or my finger. You only need a small portion of the tip pushed up. I have never had one break doing this. The only con I have is the shadows can be drying in the winter so I usually use a powder when it gets too dry out.
I have fair neutral skin, light hair and eyes. I like a natural neutral look. I also do not like shimmer and glitter. It doesn’t look good on mature eyes no matter how much I’m told it will make they look “dewey”.
It makes them look crepey! I use matte colors. The vanilla, soft peach and shell (my asbsolute new favorite color) are my lid colors. All of these hide my dark blue red “allergy” eye discoloration. My crease and brow colors are shadow (gray brown), bark (deep brown), Taupe (light brown with a redish tint), Malted pink (not my favorite – a darker red pink), Dusty Mauve (this is a shimmer but ever so slightly and is a nice wine brown shade), and sand (a neutral medium tan).
I wear these to work or on a night out. All the colors can be made softer or more intense depending on the occasion.
You know the marketing department is doing something right if they can sell how effortless it is with these shadow sticks. I’m torn on how much I like these though. Are they easy to use. ? Yes and no.
It’s easy to use if you don’t care for precision and something fast. I think that’s great and it works. But sometimes I need a little more precision to line the outer edges of my eyes. I also wish there was a bit more pigment.
When you blend it out, it kind of disappears, even the dark colors so I have to reapply this a few times to get the amount of color I need. For something that looks like it’s supposed to be touch and go, the pigment isn’t enough to live up to that.
The other thing is that I don’t like the feel of the texture. It’s not sticky perse but it doesn’t feel. something about it bothers me. A lot of times when I put it on, instead of it being creamy the texture is making me drag the colors across my lids.
For cream sticks, I don’t think it should be doing that. Anyway, I like it but I don’t so I’m going to probably use these until they’re done and try their competitors. Also, if you’re torn on which neutral brow colors to use like I was, Heather Steel and Bark are really similar.
One is just cooler than the other and once it goes on your eyes, you can’t even tell the difference. Just choose one and you’ll be good to go.
A cream texture that becomes one with the eyelid and dresses the eyes in vibrant, easy-to-blend colour. A palette of shades offering a satin, luminous and long-wearing result. The eyeshadow comes with a rounded brush applicator with soft synthetic bristles, perfect for applying and blending colour over the entire eyelid.
Chanel brought this back! I remember using their cream eyeshadow 20yrs ago & it was just as fabulous then as now! I bought the Scintillance (804). I have blonde hair, blue eyes & fair complexion w/pink undertones.
I apply from brow bone down, covering my entire eyelid… Although, you can apply w/the index fingertip, I prefer using the Chanel No. 20 Eye Contour/Blender Brush. It goes on smooth as silk & lasts all day.
The beauty of this color is it gives a very nice natural look but can also be used as a base eyeshadow color & built upon w/other colors to create various intensities based upon the look one is going for.
I prefer using it alone as I prefer just a quick & easy to apply eyeshadow for a very natural look. But, I also think it would be fun to use another cream shadow as a 2nd color on top of it on my lower lids.
It’s a win-win! You can’t go wrong… Unless you’re complexion is considered an Autumn (like my mom (fair, dark Auburn hair color & dark brown eyes) & she couldn’t use it) b/c it’s too pink for an Autumn complexion.
I love almost everything CHANEL, but this was a major disappointment. I purchased three colors. All of them are so sheer, it’s like I am not wearing anything. I do use a base, which greatly brings out the color in every brand, except this one.
It’s as though this formula is “base resistant”. I applied layer upon layer, first with the sponge applicator and then with a brush, and the color does not build whatsoever. The formula is extremely dry.
I can’t believe that in this modern era, one of the top beauty brands is still making eyeshadow that is dry like fine sand. I don’t have dry eyelids/dry skin whatsoever. I don’t even recall, in my 41 years of life, ever owning an eyeshadow that went on so dry! I honestly don’t get why CHANEL can’t produce some decent eyeshadows.
They need to lose all the crazy sparkles in everything too and introduce some variety to their customers.
I bought this just before Melbournes fifth lockdown. I had previously purchased Silver Pink in this range and enjoyed every bit of it. It was creamy and exactly what I hoped for. This time I bought the colour Pourpre Profond; a pretty bronze-brown-red shade.
But unlike the earlier Ombré Premier, this one is dry, patchy, flat and all-round an extremely disappointing Eye Shadow. Will not be buying this Ombre Premiere range again.
This creamy and water resistant formula makes for the perfect shadow. Ulta’s Metallic Cream Eye Shadow acts as a primer/shadow 2-in-1 that allows for longer wear.
A lightweight cream eyeshadow with a radiant, lustrous finish that maintains a just-applied fresh look for 16 hours without smudging or creasing. This gorgeous eye color, available in an array of lustrous shades, maintains a just-applied fresh look that lasts all-day long.
Really love this item forever and always! Lol. Something i could recommend to anybody and everybody! Its worth of try makr ur money worth plus makes you look so pretty. So natural in skin in any types of skin color.
try and wont regret it! Im not good in make up but this one is really really good!.
This is my favorite brand of cream eye shadow. The Magnolia pk302 is my favorite color. It goes on smooth, shear and beautiful and stays all day. I bought more because I am about to use up my second PK302.
I like it so much I am going to give one to my sister in law to try. I hope this cream eye shadow is always available.

I have been wearing Lancome Color Design Eyeshadow for years. More recently I have been struggling to find the perfect color as the colors I have worn continue to be discontinued. I love pink pearls -it is a beautiful shade of soft pink that I love to use to highlight my brow bone and lid.
I recently tried Snap and Click -and surprisingly love both of them -they are soft shades that look beautiful and apply seamlessly -I one or the other in the crease of my eye -they make my eyes sparkle.
Just enough color to enhance my eyes, with not too much color as to be overwhelming. Thank you Lancome for the perfect eyeshadow.
I used to only wear makeup a couple of times a year, then I found this product. Now I wear eye makeup almost every day. It is very easy to use. My sister, who uses makeup everyday, was amazed at how nice my eye makeup looked and how quickly I could apply i.
It glides on easily without pulling on the skin. This product stays on all day and does flake and fall in my eyes. I use blue chrome as an eyeliner and or rose and erika f as an eyeshadow. I have had more compliments on how nice the blue chrome looks.
My mom bought Shadows hypnôse stylo in 08 violet éternel color. She bought this product because she does not like makeup and she is not good, but she likes the umbrella, and with this product she can manage in a few gestures to have a good result.
The colour is full and very writing, although you do not have a dry eyelid, the product remains for a long time and does not lie in the folds. The color is very beautiful, a purple with reflections that are very suitable for a green eye, making it rise to it.
I recommend this product to those who have little time to make make up and in a few minutes want a wow result, the colours are all very beautiful and do not need a primer to make the product go hard.
I mean, one of those make-up products that you have on your own trout.

After purchasing the Holiday Collection Bundle in 2016 – I fell in love with the neutral eyeshadow palette. The downside to that was the fact that NONE of the eyeshadow colors were listed on the back of the palette.
So my affection for one particular shade left me on a limb when trying to replace that color with a current product from the Lancome line of products. The eyeshadow that I absolutely was in love with was a peach tone that looked amazing in the warm color tones.
With my fingers crossed – I called the customer help line for Lancome and shared my dilemna. With seeral suggestions from the representative, I decided that Passion Glow was the best match for the color I wanted to purchase.
Taking a risk, I ordered the shadow and hoped it would fit the bill. While it wasn’t an exact match – Passion Glow has seriously become a staple in my makeup bag. The texture goes on so smooth without any creasing.
The color is perfect for matching with ANY of my neautral tones color products. It stays on all day, and I have had so many compliments on this one shade of shadow!! I can’t say enough about how much I love this shade of eyeshadow!! If you are looking for an amazing ‘base’ color – Passion Glow fits the bill.
Looking for a sunset look? Then look no further than this makeup staple!! Passion Glow adds just the right touch of a peachy glow without the orange look that other colors may exude. What else can I say about this shadow? You need to add it to your makeup collection!!.
This is a trendy and innovative cream shadow combinations. Formulated with supple and creamy powder. The ultra-pigmented shades are balanced in a lightweight texture. Softly blends on skin. Can be applied alone or layered under powder eyeshadow for long-wearing color and depth.
I was afraid this eyeshadow wouldn’t be pigmented enough for my tan/brown skin since it had a satin finish. However, I was blown away once I applied it. It was pigmented enough with a soft satiny glimmer.
It looks so sophisticated…very work appropriate, but has just enough glimmer for a casual night out look. I love it. I haven’t tried other NARS eyeshadows, but the finish of this eyeshadow is perfection.
This is what I was hoping Chanel eyeshadows would be, but the pigmentation was always lacking. NARS takes the cake on this one.
I went rogue and bought 4 of these online during a bored evening in lockdown! I’m so happy I did as the colours are gorgeous and the shadow long lasting. Silk Road: beautiful natural shadows for every day Kalahari: stunning deep purplely plum that can be built up for a more intense look that pairs beautifully with the lighter shade St Paul de Vince: amazing peachy shade that is the perfect natural pop of colour that pies so well with the accompanying light brownish shade.
Alhambra: this is quite similar to Silk Rd so I didn’t need both, but it’s another stunning neutral pallete. Pros: long lasting, apply beautifully wet or dry, with brushes or fingers, overall great quality eye shadows.
Cons: I want to buy all the colours which isn’t great for my bank account!.
I wanted this duo for a long time but was worried about the glitter. Not that I mind glitter sometimes but for an easy, everyday type of look (which was why I wanted this one) I’d rather reach for something softly shimmery.
However, I absolutely love this duo and don’t regret caving in and buying it. I love rose gold shades but so many of them tend to look brassy or coppery on me and it’s actually hard to find shadows that are truly a rose/pink version of rose gold.
This actually looks like a romantic, pink gold color that looks effortless and enhances the green in my eyes. It never looks harsh or give me that tired eye effect, and it doesn’t pull too warm either.
The pale peach color is also lovely and is just the perfect wash of all over color. As far as the glitter is concerned. I simply tap my brush gently a few times before applying but it does have quite a bit of fallout.
There may be a few glitter specks here and there so it’s a but frustrating. But overall it’s a pretty good product !.
Vivid. Lightweight. Easily blendable. Apply lightly for a subtle wash of color or layer to achieve deeper intensity. Can be worn alone or paired with a NARS powder eyeshadow for longer-lasting wear and added dimension.
Look in most Makeup artists beauty bag arsenals and you will usually find this cult classic. The first few times i used it i was terribly disappointed. It looked cakey, had a yellowish finish and made my skin look so dry I wondered how anyone could give it a rave review.
Flash forward to my healthier mega hydrated skin, and my new found love, foundation primer and a simple foundation brush. ELF makes a wonderful foundation brush you can actually feel good about purchasing.
you save a freaking fortune with it. The only con is its not the most durable brush. the glue on the handle is awful and it will break quickly. And, yes ive used it with the just the small metal piece attached to the brush still intact and ironically i think it works even better this way.
It might look a little jankie but jankie and fab I’ll happily take any day over a Bougie eyeball roller. i have high end faves as well as my $7 primer but most days my $7 primer works just as great as one 10x its price.
You only need a small amount of this foundation to achieve the best results. I pour or pump the equivalent of 1-3 small peas, 3 is a lot in my opinion and i like a full coverage look with a thin no make up make up finish.
airbrushed and natural. Its difficult to explain. Will try to post a photo. I think everyone should probably opt for a pinker tone, especially if you have even slightly yellow undertones like i do. Make sure your skin is nice and hydrated, slather on a pea sized amount of primer.
gently. Let it sit 30 sec to a min and then i like to mist my face with rosewater spray or the Original universal and My fav. Mac Fix Plus Spray In clear. Fan your skin with your hands so its not dry but still dewy hand for 5 secs.
Dip your brush in the foundation on the back of your hand and apply however oddly or unorthodox as you want as long as you are pressing the product gently and as evenly as you can over your face, under Your jawline and chin, neck, over nose and press product into nasal folds and any fine lines or areas that may require extra attention while lightly running.
brush over these areas, like youre buffing them out, before finishing. It was only after convincing myself foundation brushes were BS that i realized just how truly life-changing they can be. This is the key for me.
i don’t use a mirror or look in the mirror when i apply with a brush. I dip both sides of the brush in a tiny bit of product and without any real technique i dab, sweep, press and try to make sure i covered all areas of my skin before using the brush to buff it over my skin.
For whatever reason this works better than any method i could ever think of. It might take a little practice for other people or you may be a natural who thinks a brush is the easiest way to apply foundation.
If its too thin or uneven repeat the process. Too thick, spray some mac or rosewater spray on your brush and lightly buff your face in circular motions. This foundation will last all day with a little setting powder dusted over your desired look.
It works well with other brands and a little goes a long way.
I received the shade “Bad Reputation” in my monthly beauty sub box I am a repeat user. Bad Reputation is deff a WHOLE bold, high pigment, vibrant bright redish shade with hue of hot pink in it; WHOLE Barbie Tingz! Definitely a statement piece that I wouldn’t wear as often as everyday pinks/nudes but would use THIS on a good occasion!Nice to have a good vibrant 💄; deff makes lips look more defined stands out for sure! THIS satin formulation is a good one; with moringa passion fruit oils,so it’s extremely creamy; NOT drying at ALL, glides on with ease like butter TBH.
Deff a WHOLE satin,NOT a lip stain or matte! Because of the oils, can transfer. HOWEVER it has some staying power, is VERY bold brightly pigmented, doesn’t feather after a few minutes of application, esp when paired with a liner OR set with powder if need be.
Created to be VERY creamy comfortable on! ESPECIALLY perfect for dry lips/someone that doesn’t prefer the matte finish; SUPER hydrating. GREAT packaging; SUPER chic, top has a nice closure so it doesn’t EVER come open in a bag or purse.
Love the bullet shape for super easy precise application. A little pricey at $26, however,is a great lipstick that I’d recommend to others! one THAT you know why you’re throwing out a little bit more money for it; feels looks AMAZING on the lips.
Bad Reputation is lip artistry at it’s finest. Love Nars their lipsticks! Prefer THESE bullet lipsticks over the lip pencils, do like the satin formula ALOT; no cracking/flaking/dry lips with this formulation EVER.
ONLY thing is you may need to reapply more than matte esp after eating drinking because it’s sooo creamy. Glides on like butter is sooo vibrant.
So, let me start by saying that I am a pro makeup artist (16 years of experience) and have experience with utilizing – and NEED! – all types of cosmetics in my kit that may not be my choice to wear on my own face.
That being said. personally, I like this foundation formula, but I don’t LOVE this formula. First, I should mention that I think the name of the product is misleading. When NARS uses the word “sheer” in their product names, they aren’t speaking on coverage.
Instead, they are using the word as in total/absolute/ultimate. Because of this, I was honestly hesitant to try this foundation initially. I already have light/sheer coverage foundations in my kit that I love to use on my more natural looks feel as though the price point for a sheer foundation should be a bit lower than this one.
After finally breaking down and experimenting with this product, I realized that the formula – though lightweight – is more of a medium buildable coverage. Now for the rundown, I have several notes: PROS: creamy texture and comfortable on the skin, buildable without caking or turning grey/orange in heavier areas, perfect balance of matte + slightly natural finish, lightweight feel, easily pairs with setting powder/spray CONS: somewhat limited shade range, slight oxidation and very unforgiving if shade is slightly off (I do NOT recommend purchasing online or blindly shopping via photo swatches or shade names/descriptions.
) Even after applying powder and setting spray, product easily transfers onto clothing/hands, separation around nose/mouth/chin, does not pair well with many moisturizers/primers, TERRIBLE packaging (so much wasted product due to pour-top bottle without a pump or dispenser) If you need a pretty foundation with light coverage for a photo or two or something to wear for just a few hours, this is an okay option.
It will slightly color correct and even out the skin tone minimal discoloration. If you need something that will last all day and does not transfer, this ain’t it, sis. Even though others seem to have success with this product, it’s a pass for me.
Standalone or otherwise, I’ve tried multiple pairings under/over this foundation, but haven’t found a combination that will provide a long-lasting and beautiful finish.
When it comes to choosing the best cream eye shadow for mature skin, there are a few things you need to keep in mind. First, look for a formula that is specifically designed for mature skin, as this will help to ensure that the shadow does not settle into fine lines and wrinkles.
Second, opt for a shade that is a bit lighter than your skin tone, as this will help to brighten up the eyes. Finally, be sure to use a primer before applying the shadow, as this will help it to stay in place all day long.
