A crate for small dogs is a small, enclosed space that is used to confine a dog for a short period of time. Crates are often used to transport dogs in cars or airplanes, or to temporarily contain a dog in a safe space.
Some dog owners use crates as a way to train their dogs, or to give them a safe space to stay while the owner is away from home.

I had a large crate for a dog I had a while back, and I figured I could try to make it work for my new Scottish Terrier pup, Cleo. I tried using a couple different methods to close off some of the crate to limit her space but sure enough, none of them worked and she still found a way to make space to go potty in there.
I realized I needed to buy a whole new crate that’s an appropriate size for her, and one that has a divider so it can expand as she gets older. I have an adult male Scottie already so I used his measurements to find an appropriate sized crate that would just leave enough space for him to lay down, stand up and turn around (he is fully potty trained and doesn’t use a crate anymore, but the new pup will grow to be the same size and I wanted to ensure that if she still needs it by the time she’s an adult, she can still fit).
When the packaged arrived in less than a week, I opened up the box and set the crate up with the divider. It took less than 5 min total. Both dogs were immediately curious and playing in the crate. The divider is definitely my favorite feature of this product, along with the removable tray.
The quality is excellent for the price, and I definitely would recommend this product for anyone with an adult dog or a growing puppy!.
Revol is an award-winning, collapsible dog crate that is easy to set up, transport and store. Revol’s design, inspired by baby industry quality standards, incorporates premium materials, ergonomic easy-to-use doors, and is sturdy and durable.
Everything about buying, assembling, and using our second Revol crate (we purchased our first, a Medium, last spring), was excellent, and our pup loves her new bigger digs. The company’s communication about the status of our pre-order was superb—well-timed, clear, and accurate.
We weren’t expecting two boxes (I probably missed the detail in one of the emails), so were surprised when the second box arrived a few days after the first and only then noticed Box 1 on the first box.
It would have been better if the box labeling had said Box 1 of 2 and Box 2 of 2, but that’s a quibble. The packaging did its job well and the instructions were both charming and easy to follow. The ONLY product design flaw in our opinion involves the last step of assembly: Handling and attaching the teeny-tiny screws in the four bottom corners.
The allen wrench is ridiculously small (even for a woman’s hands), and getting the screws into their holes is incredibly difficult, from just getting them into the holes to fully tightening them. The placement of the screws, especially such small screws on an otherwise very large object, is i credibly awkward.
Upshot: The holes are hard to reach because of the close proximity of the crate sides. It’s also hard to imagine that such tiny screws accomplish much of anything on such a large object. But that is our only negative criticism/observation.
The product is overall superb—wildly expensive, yes, but very attractive and sturdy and safe. Kudos and thanks to the entire Diggs Revol team!!!.

It is ideal for indoor and outdoor use. Great tool for house training. This Compact Crate, medium is ideal for small and medium breeds or puppies. Size: S.
Keep your dog out of trouble while you’re gone for the day with this Paws and Pals Two-Door Wire Pet Crate. This crate has a metal frame that’s easy to set up and folds flat for easy storage when not in use.
The plastic floor tray is easy to clean if they happen to have any accidents, and the latched door ensures they stay where they’re supposed to be. Toss in their favorite squeaky toy and blanket to create a space they’ll feel safe in.
I’ve been searching for a 42” wire crate on which the front door (the one on the short side) hinges on your RIGHT and latches on your LEFT if you’re facing it. This is the only setup that will work for the space next to my bed, where my dog prefers her crate to be.
Garage door style or canvas crates won’t work for various reasons, and the crates aren’t vertically symmetrical so you can’t place it upside down, otherwise the carrying handle will get in the way and the tray won’t slide out.
The opposite (hinges on your left, latches on your right) is standard I assume because most of us are right-handed so it’s easier to latch and unlatch the door with our right hand. But where are the crates for lefties? Some of the product photos and even some of the reviewer photos show the front door in the configuration I wanted.
After checking with Chewy help for recommendations, they suggested this one, so I took it to mean this crate was sure to meet our needs. Nope! It arrived today and is configured just like other wire crates.
The front door hinges on the left and latches on the right, so it’s back to the drawing board. I’m rating this 3 stars because the crate seems fine, but transparency is important and this manufacturers photos misled me and the Chewy representatives.
I had bought this crate previously a few years ago and had been happy enough to buy it again. However, upon receiving this crate yesterday, the quality is night and day from then and now. My old crate was five years old and going strong.
The crate I received yesterday would be surprising if it lasted more than a month or two. It is flimsy and none of the bars line up as they should. I have a ten month old puppy who is already figuring out where she can squeeze out.
I’m going to attempt to reinforce the crate with steel zip ties as I need a crate now but I definitely do not recommend anyone to buy this.
I was looking for a medium size crate and didn’t realize until after it was delivered, that the description says “M/L”. It’s gigantic for our tiny puppy and small house. However, I need the kennel now, and don’t have the time to send it back and get a smaller one.
Plus, the regular size medium is out of stock anyways. It was shipped in the manufactures packaging with no additional box, and was pretty banged up. Metal walls are bent in weird ways, so not perfect but still keeps the dog locked up.
I had to bend some of the hooks for the side door because they weren’t even interlocked with the side panels. I would have gladly spent $30-40 more dollars to get a sturdier, better built one. Feel like I could have gone to Menards and bought the pieces to build one on my own.
This high-quality training kennel is perfect for puppies and small dogs. It’s loaded with safety features to keep your pet safe and secure in his/her “own” special space. It includes a locking system on the door, top, base and casters.

Really, I give this 4 1/2 stars! It’s a little heavier/bulkier than I thought it’d be but the quality is pretty good. The only thing I’d like to be different is maybe for the company to include some kind of optional padding for the top (inside).
Our little guy was jumping as he was getting used to this and hit his head a bit. but that’s just us! Thank you!.
I typically don’t write reviews nor do I believe a lot of them I read. This crate is awesome. Great quality for the money. Spacious and my little Doxie loves it as he has ivdd and needs crate confinement for long periods of time.
He is much happier as it’s more open than a typical crate. This crate glides very easy and has a more humane feel than a wire crate. Easy open top too! I’m very happy that I purchased this. Hopefully this review helps people who need a durable quality doggy sleep area :).
Travel crates are just a necessity of life if you want to get your furry best friend on the road with you. But the usual plastic ones are quite bulky, and where do you store them when youre not on the road? The Pop Crate from Sport Pet is the proper answer.
It has a sturdy metal locking gate, with a durable turn-dial latching system to stay in place. But unlike rigid plastic travel crates, it folds down compactly thanks to a collapsible design. To pop it open, all you have to do is give it a twist no complicated assembly required.
When closed, its slim and compact enough to store on a closet shelf in your home. Made of durable polyester fabric, with mesh vents on the sides so your pet has fresh air and a clear view of his surroundings.
Please note, while its durable and stays securely shut, the Pop Crate is for temporary use and intended for kennel-trained pets only. But even so, youd be hard pressed to find a crate thats as cozy for your loyal pooch and as stowable and convenient for you! Grab one today, and be sure to pack it and pop it on all your adventures.
Pops open instantly! 1. Pop! 2. Grip! 3. Twist! 4. Click! Closes easily by twisting 180 degrees.
Actual item appearance may vary. Contents under pressure. Use caution when opening. Not a long term pet containment system. Not for vicious or chewing dogs. Only for kennel trained dogs. Does not protect dog in car accident.

I actually liked the ease of setting up this crate. It has only been used 3 times each time a disaster. The first time was my fault as I hadn’t closed the crate totally. Winston met us at the door, wagging his tail.
2 nd time was Christmas day. Winston managed to rip the mess side and escaped. Again happily meeting us at the door, wagging his tail. My son-in-law and I mended the holes with duct tape on both sides.
3rd time was the next day when we went to church. He had tried to move the duct tape and gave up and just made a new hole in the remaining mesh. Again he escaped. I have pictures but am not sure how to add it.
This crate may be good for a cat or very docile dog.
This crate tucks in nicely by the bed. I had to twist the crate to get it to fit, but since it is soft sided, it was easy to do. I have 2 long haired miniature dachshunds, and they both have plenty of room and are really happy to have their blankets and sleeping space.
The crate is well made and is perfect for my needs. I looked at a number of options and could not find another crate as narrow as this one. The metal door is easy to close and I was able to flip it so the door opened the direction I needed.
The only negative is with the limited space, the opening radius of the door is fairly limited. Both my dogs can easily fit, but depending on the space in your unit, a larger dog might have troubles fitting through the door.
(Again, this limitation is based on the narrow width I have available in my unit. ) So happy with the purchase-perfect for the trailer. The dogs give it 4 paws up.
The size and design of this pet crate appealed to me. It was purchased not for a small dog but for bringing home my new 6 month old Calico kitty cat from the adoption center. I placed a cushy kitty pad on the bottom and she rode very comfortably.
I appreciate the ability to condense the unit back to a flat shape if needed for storing. The see-through ends, sides and gate mean that the pet can observe their surroundings. I left it open on a small shelf unit and one night kitty found it herself and chose to hope in and spend the night.
That is helpful in case she must travel to the vet or to a care place ( in case we travel). The plastic parts don’t seem very strong, but there should not be any great stress put on them. Just hope it lasts for a few years!.
There’s nothing worse than comign home from work and finding your favorite pair of shoes chewed up and thrown about your house. Now imagine having a crate thats stylish and keeps your dog out of trouble.
Our Radius Wooden Dog Crate is crafted with a luxurious charcoal body and a rich mahogany door, that will make you, and your dog, feel like a million bucks. It even doubles as a side table, the perfect place to rest your drink after a long day.
This furniture piece is made with environmentally-friendly materials and has a secure lock so your pet cant chew his way out. It also has windows on three sides so they can see their surroundings and chill.
The rounded curves do more than adding a modern look, they also provide protection from pokes and scratches as your dog climbs in and out. Itll keep them secure and out of trouble while youre at work.
So now that youve found a wooden crate that keeps both your shoes and bubby safe, sit back and enjoy the music. It comes in three different colors and sizes.
Cheap construction for the money! Pieces will not fit flush. Hard to open and close. Dowels fall right out and other small pieces fall out and are a choking hazard for any size dog. So VERY VERY disappointed.
Nice looking crate, easy to put together. The only thing I would say is that the door/front of the crate appears to be on one of the longer sides in the image, whereas it is actually on one of the shorter sides, which means that we couldn’t situate it where we had planned to.
If you want to have it next to a wall then the entrance will be on one side, if that makes sense. It would also be great if you could choose what side to mount the door opening, like you do on a fridge – its a fairly big piece of “furniture” so a bit of flexibility would make it easier to fit into our home.
This is a high quality cat carrier, but there is one thing that I wish was designed differently, otherwise I would have given 5 stars. If you’re dealing with a stronger and more difficult feral cat, then you would stand the carrier up on its end (side facing up so that it’s “deeper”) and put him in head first (because it’s safer and easier and he can’t grab on to the sides as easily as he would from the top entrance).
But the back side of the carrier doesn’t sit flush when you stand it upright on its end unless you lean it against a wall and steady it with a leg. Other than that I find the top door very convenient to retrieve the cat, or to put a calmer, more docile cat in from the top.
It’s easy and simple to assemble, durable, and good quality. I’m happy with it, other than one design element that I think could be improved (making the back a flush, flat surface).
I have yet to use the carrier. I purchased it for my upcoming move. It was difficult to put the carrier together. The plastic has some imperfections from its manufacturing process; i. e. holes not perfectly hollowed out, but I made due.
I hope it will be a safe use. It was disappointing to see the instructions to piece it together suggests using zip ties; as if it’s manufactured with the knowledge of “this can’t be trusted without additional safeguards”.
The price alone should be reduced for a pet parent to have to consider such. It was also disappointing to discover the dimensions listed are for the outside of the carrier, not the inside, which is more vital information for the comfort of the cargo.
Pet Lodge Double Door Plastic Crate is specially created to provide convenience when transporting your dogs. It features a patented design which lets you handle it with ease, making it great for home and travel purposes.
It meets the International Air Transport Association (IATA) standards so it is perfect to use when travelling by plane. It has two large wire doors with a wire window and vented back to give proper ventilation.
The latches are secured and jiggle-free to ensure safety and security. This two-toned beige and taupe colored crate is made of heavy-duty polypropylene with e-coated black wire that is corrosion resistant to prevent wearing out from regular use.
I had never seen the side door option before. I have a Jeep Grand Cherokee that holds a crate the normal way but did not want to pay the extra fuel to drive on a 1200 mile round. I have a small GMC SUV that gets almost twice the fuel mileage.
This is perfect. It mounts sideways and has a door available. I couldn’t be happier. I will use it in both vehicles.
I love this crate- it’s double doors make it easy and convenient for my golden retriever to get in and out. Valley Vet has the cheapest prices for this product that I could find and it shipped quickly and without damage.
With a tabletop, this 2-in-1 design decreases the crowd of items in a small room by making pet crate into a rest surface. Featuring doors on two sides, it’s easy to unlatch the enclosure, allowing you to reach from any angle.
Made from quality materials, the PawHut wooden dog kennel will provide a decorative home for your pet with aesthetic. The simple but cute design of the dog crate end table for small dogs allows it to blend with any décor, while sticking with you for a long-lasting lifetime.
I ordered this item which arrived within a couple of days. I’m very impressed with customer service who promptly resolved a slight issue with the cage. I would have absolutely have no hesitation in recommending this company.
Pricing is very competitive,I will certainly be place an other order very soon.
Richell Expandable Dog Crate, Small, 37-62. 2-in L x 24. 6-in W x 24-in H; Your furbaby won’t stay little for long, but she’s not quite ready for a big-girl crate. The Richell Expandable Dog Crate grows with her to help her feel comfortable and secure! Adjusting at 11 different widths, you can choose the paw-fect size for your furbaby and space.
The protective floor tray even expands right along with it! A sliding wire door opens to give her access in and out. Plus, the Life ‘n Lock door makes it easy for you to grab her food/water bowls and doggy training pads.
This Richell expandable pet crate is just as it is described and was shipped very quickly by BB&B. It was well packaged and arrived double-boxed without any damage. It is probably the nicest pet crate/pen I have seen and the dark wood finish fits right into our living room without looking like a big eyesore.
Totally worth the money (especially after looking at the ones available in the big box pet supply store)! I bought the Medium size and it is huge but I wanted the paw trax puppy tray to fit and I had read that it didn’t fit in the small.
It is way more room than my pet needs as a small dog, but it will be nice for him we are gone and extended amount of time, or later decide to add another puppy. And, it is adjustable – so I can make it smaller if I decide I want to move it to a new space.
I didn’t have any trouble assembling it at all and it is fairly easy to lift by myself fully extended to remove the tray underneath for cleaning. You definitely could fit two small dogs in here. I didn’t purchase the top piece (which is sold separately), but I may go back and order it.
I don’t think my pup could jump out, but I don’t want him to hurt himself trying because he can see that it is open. I didn’t think he would try, but he does. I highly recommend this product.
I received this in 2 days! Was packaged beautifully. I am 62 year young woman and I put this together easily, and I have only assembled a few pieces of furniture in my life. Each piece was wrapped so carefully.
Even the bolts and washers were put together for you, I will try to attach a photo). I had purchased another brand. It looked cheap and it had no bottom and no top. I did order the top for this, and when the whole piece is together it is solid and the top is tight.
This is a quality piece that will be in the corner of my living room. I have a Cavapoo puppy 4 mo old. I bought the small one as my Cav is suppose to be only 15 lbs. When grown.
Man’s best friend deserves a dog kennel that’s a cut above the rest. That’s why the Ruff Land Kennel is one of the most popular dog kennels on the market. Made from a high quality plastic, the crate is then molded into a single piece, for added durability.

This crate carries the new and improved composite door. Vent hole pattern displayed comes standard (1 3/8″), with two finger holes in the back. RUFF TOUGH KENNELS IS NOW RUFF LAND As of October 2018, Ruff Tough has changed their name to.
We needed to replace an old crate for carrying our lab-mix in our vehicles. This crate is solid and well built. It has great features, such as a door that can open either way or be removed quickly and easily.
The threaded inserts are nice too, to attach D-rings for tie-down straps. The crate does not creak or rattle when traveling with it, which is nice when we use it in our Toyota Prius. It is a bit more expensive than the cheapo dog crates you can buy online, but when you consider the increased safety and convenience of this crate, it will be at the top of your list!.
This crate exceeded my expectation. I bought one with a front and side opening for flexibility when traveling. I live that the doors open either left or right without needing any adjustments. The pins and log so your pup stays secure.
Because the doors are composite, they do not rattle. I was super impressed with the videos about safety and those who are unsure which crate they should purchase should check those out before making a decision.
Love this kennel, fits sideways in my RAV4 with the side door added. Good breathability for the dog and easy to clean. Elected to get aplastic crate over a wire one because I wanted something that was quiet when I drove, which this is.
No rattling at all and the dog is comfortable. Only annoying thing is having to buy a special bed insert cause a traditional crate liner is too wide. Pricey but I think it’s worth it, I have two.

DogGoods Do Good The Foldable Travel Dog Crate, Small; **Remember to measure your pet for the paw-fect fit. ** Take your best fur-iend with you for an extra dose of necessary companionship with the DogGoods Do Good The Foldable Travel Dog Crate.
This soft-sided crate isn’t the typical soft-sided crate—with a sturdy iron frame, creaseless fabric, modern lines, and the ability to fold away—your pup can go wherever you are. Plus, it’s lightweight and mess-free due to washable padding and a water-resistant interior.
Bring down the roll-down blackout shades for extra privacy and security for your pal when he needs some alone time.
I had another crate made by another company that no longer makes soft-sided crates, only tough toys and rugs. Not certain why they no longer make them as the one I have is 30 years old (has housed 3 different dogs over those years) and still going strong.
Anyway, I have my old one as a back up but decided a new one (actually 2) would probably be appreciated as we get two new Sheltie puppies. The other reviews of this Doggoods crate were excellent. We ordered one for our first new pup and have been extremely impressed as we get started with our 6-month old Sheltie.
The crate assembles in 2-minutes tops, and the fabric is super thick and durable. As with ANY dog, YOU HAVE TO monitor the dog in the crate, and some puppies may actually need a hard-shell crate for up to a year to outgrow their chewing, but this crate will serve our new pup well.
Another pup is coming soon and we went ahead and ordered a second crate. I have a very positive feeling these crates are going to hold up for another 30 years! I highly recommend this crate – perhaps with just a towel or a blanket to start as the inner pad is pretty flimsy (& appeared to our pup to be like a chew toy) but there are some great washable pads out there on the internet made of tough fabric (similar to the tough fabric this Doggoods crate is made of) that are available through another company that can be ordered to fit these crates.
Not sure if I should share the name of the pad company but the guy who owns it is a veteran. If you’re looking for a solid soft-sided crate, this is the one!.
I love it! Zoey & Zephyr love it! I purchased the XL to fit 2 Standard Poodle puppies for their inside the home FORTRESS. It is attractive and love the 2 sided zipper openings. Too bad one of the inside plastic roof side tubes snapped off the end that clamps into the other top plastic tube as I attempted to open it up and attach it.
I probably used too much force when maneuvering the side roof plastic tube to its place; nevertheless it snapped at a vulnerable end and that demonstrates it is not sturdy enough. Despite the broken side tube it still is usable as the other 3 tubes keep the roof up.
I love it enough to keep it for indoor use as is with 1 out of 4 broken roof support plastic tubes. The puppies play in it and seem to enjoy it. They do not show interest in chewing it. If you purchase, be gentle and cautious with unfolding the roof plastic tube structures into place.
Fabulous overall experience. Product was received in a timely manner, well packed, and the product itself is the best! There are too many junky soft-sided crates on the market. This one is sturdy, putting it together is a snap, and the pad inside can be replaced with all kinds of options when needed.
We generally replace a pad on the inside about once a year just to keep them fresh. Our dogs actually like the blue ‘cooling’pads more than big fluffy pads anyway, but they are Shelties with a lot of hair.
The crate itself is just superior and I have just ordered a second one for another pup arriving soon. Really, I can’t say enough good things about this crate. If your pup is a chewer you might consider a hard crate temporarily till they move out of the chewing phase but there isn’t much to chew on in these crates anyway as the canvas outer shell is very tight doesn’t give much leeway to chew.
And our current 6 month old Sheltie goes in to the crate to lay down completely on his own – it’s his own little abode and he is content.
Pet Lodge Single Door Pet Crate is specially designed to deliver great solutions to your pet’s multiple needs. This small suitcase-style crate will provide a safe shelter to your pets in your home and during travel, and can be used for training purposes.
It features a detachable panel which lets you make a smaller space for your dog that is useful during house training, then allows you to remove it to expand the crate once your pets grows older. The latches are also secured, thus, will not loosely jiggle when in declined locked position.
It is made of heavy-duty black metal with e-coating finish which is corrosion resistance and rounded corners to guarantee efficiency and safety to both the pet and the owners. It is easy to assemble and can be folded down for compact storage.
It comes with removable plastic tray and carrying handle. The crate measures 24 in. long by 18 in. wide by 21 in. high. It will fit dogs up to 30 lbs.
Env: development I actually have four of these and I don’t know what I would do without them. They are great for both cats and dogs. For my cats, I will usually put them away when I know my parents might be over since they are not as fond of cars as I am.
The largest version is big enough to put a covered litter box and a couple of feeding bowls in there. These cages often have two or three doors, all of which have pretty decent, sturdy closures on them.
I only wish they would install a handle if you wanted to place a lock in it. I also have a small one which I am using to crate train my new puppy. There is also a plastic tray which easily slides out to clean.
These things really stand up to the weather, too. My mom kept one in the bed of her truck so we could take the dog with us camping on the weekends. It went through sandstorms, heavy rain, and brutal sunshine.
After about a year, it started to rust a little, but that’s it. Env: development.
It certainly gets the job done, and my dog loves his crate but I bought this because my mother and I tend to move a bit or we stay at a relatives house and we must keep the dog in a crate. With a seventy pound dog, this could be challenging at times but so far so good.
Durable? 10/10. This thing has lasted well over 5 big moves and is still like new. Ease of use? 5/10. A seventy pound dog is going to need a big crate. This is certainly big enough but it is quite big of a pain to move around and fold up.
I’ve crushed, bent, twisted, and cut up my fingers numerous times trying to close this darn thing up. You also have to make sure you’re in a big enough area when folding it up because it flattens first and then folds over — I made the mistake of trying to put it together while in a tiny space in the corner of my room.
I’ve found the best thing to when you have to flatten it is to grab the edges with your palms, not your fingers, and just let it fall.
Great crate!!! Easy set-up, pull up and sliding doors work smoothly. No problem with pups figuring out the lock system. Whoever came up with the idea to put these 2 door systems on a dog crate is a genius!!.
The Easy Crate Single Door Dog Crate is a bargain priced dog crate that’s easy to use, clean, move, and store. Easy Crates are wire dog crates with dual latching doors for added security. The dog crates are lightweight, folding crates that have a top handle for easy transport.
Each dog crate is made of high quality metal ensuring your dog stays secure inside their crate. The dog crate includes a slide out tray for easy cleaning while protecting your floor from any accidents.
I brought this crate for my Silky Terrier. She is little but she has enough room to move around and get comfy. She sleeps with comfort. The crate was easy to assemble and it’s sturdy. I would recommend this size crate for small to medium size dogs.
My 9 year old Lab mix has now been happily, and comfortably put in a safe place while I’m at work. Nutty boy wouldn’t keep his nose out of trouble until now. This crate is a great size for lounging (maybe not for training as it is rather large) and secure enough for a quiet dog.
It was setup in a matter of minutes, easy-peasy directions and construction. Not as heavy as feared for the size so that’s a plus, but well constructed. It is, however, too large for the doorways to move between rooms so it has to be taken down to do this, but it isn’t that heavy or awkward to move if needed.
Couldn’t have made a better choice with my purchase from PetFoodDirect, price was “right on”, fast shipping, and perfect product for my needs.
The metal does not appear to be all that sturdy, but my 70 lb. 5 mo. old mastiff/lab/weimaraner mix is doing well with this crate. She has room to move around and seems content when she is in there. I think a large, rather unruly dog might be a problem in this, but then, they would be a problem anywhere (they have torn down my fences and gone through 3′ x 5′ plate glass windows, bleeding, smiling and happy all the while.
) I think the key would be that the very large, powerful dog was accustomed to being in a crate before they were put into this one and then they should be fine. Very easy setup, folds right up, too. Would definitely purchase this again.

Our 12 week old Schnauzer puppy needed a closed environment to travel in the car and RV. He was already able to manipulate the soft sided dog pen sides and escape from the pen. This “Lavender” kennel which looks more like a royal blue color has exterior zippers so he can’t grab them and sufficient space to stretch out.
The kennel came with a strap that converts to a leash. Designers would have been smarter to provide a strap to carry the open kennel from place to place. It is awkward to carry due to the large width and depth.
The kennel folds flat and can be stored easily when not needed to be used. Our puppy is very calm inside the kennel. Fabric repels liquid.
I bought this for my 2 cats to travel with me in a car for approx. 5 hr trip one way. I have one that is considerably larger, but wanted one that didn’t take up so much room, but the 2 could be comfortable and move around a bit.
It’s perfect. It fits good in the back seat of my car, leaves a little room to pack something else. I love the zipper pocket to pack some cat essentials. It has nice large screens for them to see out, and easy access zippers.
LOVE this crate, and it’s absolutely huge! It seems very sturdy and was so easy to fold together and fold back up. I also love the color of it. There are plenty of openings for ease of cleaning. Mine came used with slight scratches on the bottom, but I’ll always use the liner and a bed anyhow so I’ll never see them anyhow.
Overall, a wonderful crate I hope I’ll get good use out of!.
There are many factors to consider when choosing the right crate for your small dog. The size and type of crate, as well as the age and personality of your dog, will all play a role in finding the perfect crate for your furry friend.
When it comes to size, you’ll want to make sure the crate is big enough for your dog to stand up and turn around in, but not so big that they can use one end as a bathroom. If you have a puppy, it’s important to choose a crate that will accommodate them as they grow.
As for type, there are two main types of crates – wire and plastic. Wire crates are typically more affordable and offer better ventilation, while plastic crates can be more sturdy and offer more privacy.
Age and personality are two other important factors to consider. If you have a young puppy, they may do better in a wire crate that they can see out of. If you have an older dog, they may prefer a plastic crate that offers more privacy.
And if you have a dog with separation anxiety, they may do better in a crate that is covered on all sides.
No matter what type of crate you choose, make sure to introduce it to your dog gradually and give them plenty of time to adjust to their new space. With a little patience and the right crate, you’ll have your furry friend happily crated in no time.
