Super cute idea and fun craft! It comes with foam boards that have tiny holes to direct where to put the pins. I definitely wouldn’t get it for young kids because the pins are legit!

It was a hit as a birthday gift and easy to create but it seemed that the base should have held the pins a lit sturdier, as it is for kids.

This product makes 3 different string art designs. It was priced lower than others I had seen, all which only made one project. One of the pieces hangs in my daughter’s room. The other pieces hang in hallway with family pictures.

Directions difficult? I think not! Lack of deductive reasoning is the reason for failure.

Amaaaazing product. we tried few others before this one but this was the best of all. Enough quality, well written instructions and easy to use. Got prints of our new born gulr and her big brother on tge first try!Only wish that they provided more colors to paint instead of gold and silver.

I like it s the only reason I gave it 4stars is bc it didn’t come with enough of the cement maybe bc we have big hands idk but it still didn’t turn out to badly. My advice use a mixer maybe that is why ours has bubbles idk we did follow all instructions.

3rd grade Vacation Bible School Class. Hard for them to do the netting. I didn’t like how the men were lose inside the net. Disappointing since I was able to do it but class needed a lot of 1:1 assistance which time did not allow for.

Need craft to be stream lined and easier. Appreciate the creativity on this one and like how it wasn’t another magnet.

I have not given them this one yet but there is no doubt they will love it. So far, they love all the crafts I purchased for them. However, the crafts are not very stable. They do not stay in the slots and the kids have to constantly reassemble them, but overall, they have fun and learn about the Lord through crafts.

This was such a cute craft and fit in well with our “Fishers of Men” Sunday School lesson. But it was very hard for 1st and 2nd graders to assemble. They had pieces stuck in their hair and on their sweaters and everywhere.

Later that afternoon after church, I took a set and the lesson to my Mom – who has dementia – and she did a lot better at it, loved putting it together! It’s a cute craft but better suited for older children.

Love this string art kit! My fiancé and I love sunflowers and want to incorporate them into our wedding. We were looking for something to hang in our house, and we gravitated towards this kit because you get to create a beautiful piece of art yourself, which makes it more meaningful to us.

My wooden board was ruined when I received the package and the seller was very prompt to respond to my message. He was very apologetic and sent me a new one right away! Overall, the directions were clear and it can take you several days to complete, which I enjoyed.

However, it did seem like the directions to create the outer part of the middle of the sunflower was off because it did not make sense when trying to complete it, so I free-styled that part. Either way, I am very happy with how it turned out!.

This might be my favorite gift I gave for Christmas. My aunt was so excited about it. It’s so unique and thoughtful. She loves sunflowers and doesn’t take time to flee her creative skills enough. This is was a nudge to get her to do something creative again and she really loved it.

My grandchildren loved it. They learned to take turns. The oldest decided to wrap one color and then hand it to her sister to wrap the next color. It was fun but they had to wait so they learned to be patience until it was their turn.

They were able to finish the project and they decided to add straws at the end. They will put it in their bedroom that they share at home. They let me know that they would want one for their birthday to do their way.

These string art crafts are great for my 11 year old. It is fun to see your own cool art on your walls. I love anything that takes her away from technology – so this was a good find for us.

My daughter loved doing this string craft. It kept her interest and focused. She loved learning how to do it and the instructions were simple with everything she needed.

I love doing diamond paintings, this was the second large project that I got overall, this time specifically for the Christmas holidays. It’s quite a big project but absolutely worth doing. The only reason for the 3 star review is that there wasn’t enough diamonds included for one of the colours needed, which is quite annoying.

All the other colours had excess quantities of diamonds, sometimes way too much in fact. Luckily we’ve bought another kit at the same time for a family member and they had excess from the particular colour that I was missing, so I could finish my project without a problem, but otherwise I would have needed to contact Customer Service to try and sort this which is not what you want to do when you’ve been looking forward to a relaxing break.

I hope this was just a one-off issue with my particular purchase and not a more common one with the product. Otherwise I love these diamond paintings and would gladly recommend them.

The hummingbird is the only part that you put the diamonds on, which at first doesn’t seem like much but once you start and get into it, it’s super fun. Its great for beginners starting with this kind of art.

I couldn’t leave the piece unfinished so I finished it the same day I started. I found it to be really relaxing and a calm activity. I didn’t have trouble with the small gems getting everywhere like I thought, which is a plus.

You do end up with extra gems but I think that’s good for another project. Overall, it’s a fun and calming activity. Highly recommend.

I love fo do this easy craft! You start out and time flies by. The picture comes to life with each additional dots you add. This craft takes patience and time BUT, WOW it is worth it!! I’ve completed several and given as gifts (after each is framed by Michaels).

Very fun project – kit includes all materials (plus extra string). Tip: I put a dab of superglue on all my slipknots to keep things secure.

I bought this primarily because it was on sale, and I wanted a cutting board for prepping artwork for frames. While not huge, it has worked perfectly for the projects I have had most recently. It cut through 1/2″ thick material easily; I cut on the backside, as well, just to be sure.

I only wish Sam’s sold a larger version!.

I was really looking forward to this product for my classroom. Specifically the paper cutter. I tried different amounts of paper, everything from 1-10 pages and it still didnt cut well. Didn’t save me time cutting things I needed, was more of a hassle.

If you want this for the mat do not buy it. There are several good reviews but I’m gonna give it to you like it is. The other parts of the kit work fine besides not having any instructions on how to switch out the blades on the precision blade.

I’ve used my cutting mat for about 2 months and it has several cuts on it. I’m going to buy a better mat from Michael’s since this one has so many cuts that have gone through it in such a short time.

if you want it for the other parts of the kit or you’re only going to use the mat for a few projects then it would work fine for that but for constant use this is not practical with how easily a rotary cutter can cut through it.

I got the unicorn version for my 5 year old, and it worked so well, my 13 year old wanted one too. Soon we will have the entire set; all we are missing is the lion. I was skeptical that the gems would adhere and that the tool would work, but they do.

This is a quality product and I will definitely buy more from this company.

Love this wine string art idea. I’d have paid extra to purchase it completed if possible however. Not an enjoyable project & unless you’ve done these before, I don’t feel it’s for beginners at all. I do all sorts of crafts & this is the most tedious & frustrating thing I’ve ever made.

Very fun kit to assemble. Put it together for a present for someone, and now I can’t wait to buy one for myself! Even my kids loved helping. Very simple, and the instructions are easy to follow, and very thorough.

I did a couple paint-by-numbers as a kid, and since my elderly mom lives with me and needs things to keep her occupied, I ordered this set. Right off I’ll say it appears to be a quality set: all the paint and brushes you’d need (and not junky ones, either) plus a nice, sturdy little easel to use to both work on it and later display it on, and it’s a lovely painting.

BUT to say this is suitable for a beginner I question. Each little field you are to paint in is VERY tiny; in most cases these little blips are about 1/16″ – 1/8″. (I have to use a magnifier to read the numbers.

) Unless someone has a really steady hand and a good eye, it will be difficult to stay within the lines in such a detailed painting. I don’t think I myself could do it, and I know my mom couldn’t handle it.

If your hands tremble at all, you’d have a hard time with this. Now, beyond all this, I was VERY disappointed in that it took quite a while from the time I ordered it until I received it, and when it finally came it was over the holiday week when I was out of town.

FedEx left the box sitting on my porch in the rain so the entire outside box fell apart and the inside box as well was soaked through. Fortunately, the canvas and easel were sealed in plastic wrap, so they’re fine.

But if I were giving this as a gift, it would have been ruined. Walmart should take FedEx to task for their handling of orders; this is not the first time they’ve left shipments out in the rain without any protection whatsoever; they could have left a note for me to pick it up OR done as UPS does and put it in a plastic bag to protect it from the weather.

I think I will enjoy making items from this kit. I have not used it yet, but will do. I will probably write another review when I have made something. I enjoy doing beadwork and Hardanger.

I’m reviewing the product as it’s came to me not as the product may have originally been purchased what was sent to me was just thrown randomly in the box wire bent beads loose bobbins just left loosely packed will be able to use some of the product in conjunction with other items since bought.

Good price for variety you get. Individually this stuff would cost much more at a craft or teacher store. Overall I am happy, except for the sand. I excepted to receive 3 DIFFERENT colors of sand. Instead, my box contained 2 yellows and 1 blue.

Also, one of the sand bottles was completely banged up. It is still useable and nothing has spilled out. at least not yet! It’s one of those things that could easily turn into a crack in the bottle. Despite the sand I am still happy with the purchase.

I purchased this product to set up an art center for my 3 year old granddaughter’s birthday. I was so pleased with the variety and the amounts of each product in this kit! This will keep her in art materials for a long time! I wish you could have heard her squeals of joy when she uncovered her art center.

This is great! I loved everything that came with this set. I needed it to stock a brand new art area so it was just what I was looking for. I felt like everything was great quality. Some things to note, you get a TON of uncolored natural craft sticks, they come in their own box, and they’re bigger than normal.

You also get a TON of buttons, and they come in their own little tub. There are some broken beads and little pieces of plastic with the beads. Not a big deal for me!.

My girls (11 and 8) really enjoyed doing their little tealight holder each. Sticky plastic outline goes on to contain the paint in nice pattern. Take time putting those on; you can peel them off and try again of you get them on wonky! Lovely colours, finished product is really pretty, great for gifts.

Final product was so pretty!! Struggled slightly to get the stencil off the sticker but really enjoyed it and they look so pretty!

I’m crafty and an engineer and found this to be a not well thought out kit. They wanted you to photocopy something and make it 130% rather than just sending the proper templates. Plus it required hot glue and I burned my finger.

Love these little activity kits. Great for any kids wanting to dabble in arts and crafts. They are great prices, and always a hit!!
