20 Best Cover Up For Hickeys (2023 Updated)

Like most of us beauty junkies, I’ve spent hundreds and hundreds on high end beauty products just to end up finding those “drugstore gems” that are so affordable and effective they become a staple in your makeup bag.

ELF Cosmetics products are one of these gems. Honestly, these products cost 10$ or less and the results are right on par with the worshipped high end products. Take for example, the new KOSAS Revealer Concealer.

Every IG influenster I follow ranted and raved about it. So of course I saved up my pennies and bought it. Unfortunately, I did not get the same outstanding results as claimed. Maybe it’s my application technique, maybe it’s my tools, my lack of/overuse of primers, moisturizers, setting sprays, etc.

, I’ll never know. But what I do know, is certain products just “work” for me, my complexion, my makeup abilities, etc. I was sold on the KOSAS revealer because the Shade 0. 5 they offered was the brightest, lightest fair shade I’ve seen.

Then I found this ELF Camo concealer, in just about exact same shade. For , 1/10 the cost (I purchased on Amazon for $3. 50, I know Target sells it for 6$). Anyways, this review is meant to express how I believe in the trial and error process when it comes to purchasing any beauty product.

I know reading reviews is what we all know (especially on this platform lol) but what works for one person, might not for you. And that’s okay because discovering new brands, less expensive dupes, and new personal favorites from buying and trying an assortment ifmmof brands is one of the biggest thrills I get from being a makeup junkie.

This concealer was just awful on my skin. I do the same morning routine and skin prep every morning, and for some reason, trying to use this concealer with my daily routine was just a mess. It’s patchy, and just doesn’t stick to my skin, regardless of using my usual primer.

It’s like the more I blend it out, the more it slides across my skin and reveals my skin underneath the concealer. It clings to every little dry patch on my face, regardless of moisturizing beforehand, emphasizing dry patches I didn’t even know I had.

It just looked so textured and awful, my skin looked so bad. I even tried to layer my usual concealer on top of it as a last ditch effort and it just made my usual concealer look awful. This concealer sincerely made my skin look just plain gross.

I had to wipe off everything with a makeup wipe, it was bad enough where I just couldn’t fathom leaving the house like that. I wanted to really like it, I’ve been trying to find a new concealer that works for me that is also affordable, but I would really recommend to skip on this one entirely.

I love the Camo cc cream so it was only natural for me to try this Camo Hydrating concealer and I love it. This concealer is easy to apply, love the shade, it’s hydrating, creamy, comftorable to wear, long lasting, full coverage, brightening on my under eyes.

no creasing or cracking or patchy or fading. No lines under my eyes at all and all darkness is covered. I do not have to set this concealer with a powder if I do not want to because it will stay just like when first applied.

It does not break me out. I love the container and the applicator it dies not get messy and run out the top of the container like other concealers do on Me and I have lost lots of product and made messes in the past with other brands.

I will continue to keep this is my routine it’s one of my faves and I do 100% reccomend it to anyone with any skin type bery it. cause whether I t s an oily Rea or a dry area this concealer is never greasy or oily looking/feeling.

I use it to cover blemishes and veins sometimes in my face and it does do a wonderful job and that means lot for me. Also this concealer is affordable it’s only $6. 00 at Wal-Mart go get and try it!.

This product is nice for a light to medium coverage. I received the shade 15 and it works for my rather fair skin tone but it is not as brighting as I would like. It is highly blend-able but that also sheers out the coverage a lot.

I prefer a thicker formula normally. The brush is really nice on this product, it is thinner than a normal brush and has a pointed tip applicator to get into the inner corner eye area easily. I have never really used Maybelline concealer before and I doubt I will pick one up again.

I love the foundation for this line but the coverage for the concealer isn’t there. If you like a lighter formula to keep your freckles visible or to brighten this may work for you (I would go a shade down though).

I would not buy it for myself but I will use the product for the summer when you want a lighter feel. It does work okay as a eyeshadow base, the powder products stick nicely but it doesn’t fully block out the veins and color on the lids.

I think I have more to cover than this product intends for.

I received this product for free to try from Butterly. When I received this product, I’ll be honest I was a little disheartened as the colour I was sent (colour #70) is too dark to use under my eye. When I thought about it some more I was able to use it to contour my cheeks.

The doe foot wand made it easy to be really precise about wear you place the product. A little goes a looooong way and the coverage is fantastic. I can see how it would be great under the eye. It is also more on the watery side which makes it easier to blend, but move quickly because it sets quickly.

It blends out so nicely into a natural look and stays put all day, even on those super hot days. We had a heat wave over the last couple weeks and my skin tends to sweat and get a little oily in warmer temperatures.

I did not notice any fading or bleeding. I would recommend trying this product as I really enjoyed it. This product is available at Walmart Canada.

Absolutely amazing for me. I have tried Tatcha concealer, but that formula was too thin and watery. I tried Tarte Shape Tape, but it would cling to dry patches. I tried Elf Camo Concealer, but was too thick.

I tried NARS and it comes as a close 2nd compared to Jouer. I have sun spots, hyper pigmentation and acne scars and Jouer covered everything! My skin looked so smooth and brand new. It was so lovely and I got complements on how glowy I looked! I will be frequently repurchasing this product over and over again.

If I could give this concealer 10 stars – I would! Although I WAS tempted to remove 1 star for the very deceiving packaging. The amount of product we get is only 3 ml but the thick walls of this container make it look like there is a lot more in there which probably not too many people realize.

That being said, I’m a very faithful user of Lancôme Effacernes but this concealer has the benefit of undefeated coverage, plus all the beautiful qualities of Effacernes. It’s thin, long-lasting and the coverage is amazing.

I have compared this side by side to other raved about concealers and there IS no comparison. Honestly, I don’t understand why more people don’t talk about it. I do set it lightly with Lorac Blurring Translucent Powder and it stays put all day, giving me that soft, velvety looking coverage without creasing or setting in lines within a couple of hours (as most concealers usually do).

You need very little of it and I prefer blending with a fluffy concealer brush (such as #35 from KVD, for example). Yes, it’s pricey but it is worth it and I will repurchase when I run out of it.

I just aI added 3 pictures one of me with concealer only on right 5 minutes after applied and one of me with nothing on my face but moisturizer and one the third one is after I wore 11 hours but in my bare face picture I’m having a bad skin day.

My roseca is broke out bad and acne is starting to break out and this concealer covered everything and I am shocked at how much this covered and how natural and skin like It looks. Big plus is that it does not oxidize so I don’t have to worry about it drying down darker.

I had to show you all I mean this is what I struggle to cover abd I would never show this selfish any other time or reason but this concealer did such an amazing job I just had to show you had to let you see what it covered up.

This is my skin on a bad bad day. Underneath is my review on this concealer. I received the sample size of this concealer in my ipsy subscription I got shade 60 Little White Lies and it matches me perfectly.

It only takes very little of this concealer to cover problem areas abd it covers major redness in my skin with ease. This concealer is long lasting with no fading or creasing or cracking or deoxiding and it looks like skin and very comftorable and liteweight.

There are no improvements needed for this concealer it is multi functional. It’s great for under eyes it cover dark circles and brightens the under eye area. This concealer also will cover redness and blemishes all while hydrating, brightening, even out your complexion, moisturizing your skin and also improving your skin all while being a liteweight buldable serum gel formula that is Gluten free, fragrance free, cruelty free, sulfat9e free, has peptides in it that are good for your skin and paraben free, talc free and vegan formula.

It has a natural flawless finish that’s not matte but not glowy it’s not patchy and it does not cling to my dry areas on my face. The formula is easy to blend and build. I can blend with a sponge or with my fingers or brush and I like to blend it with my fingers.

I can get it to full coverage it has a natural finish and covers the redness and blemishes and it looks like skin so it don’t look like makeup and I do really do love this concealer. The formula consistancy is a serum like gel that is not too thick and not to thin iit is perfectly in between.

It’s a liteweight formula and very easy to blend out and build. If feels very moisturizing and comftorable on my skin. I did not have to touch up with this concealer through out today abd I have been out in this very hot sun cleaning truck and playing with my best friend my dog Lucky he truly is my best friend abd this concealer stayed in tact all day.

It does not show my pores and it covers my acne scaring what more can I ask for? It controls oils in my oily areas. Thos concealer is expensive cost $24 for 4. 0ml which is expensive for a little bit compared to the standard ounce but this concealer is so good in my opinion it is worth the money!! I 100% reccomend this to anyone it will become your new fave just like it has mine.

I can use this for minimal no makeup makeup day or full face. The third picture I have had this concealer on all day long since 9:00 this morning and it’s been on 11 hours it is 8:00p. m. and it still don’t look the worst.

It’s looks OK and I haven’t touched up at all today!!!.

I got this as a sample size in an Ipsy bag last month. I received it in shade 60, titled Little White Lies, which so happens to be the lightest shade that they offer. I tried it out and though I have only tried it once so far, I’m not sold on it.

At first glance, the color looked much too warm to be their lightest shade and I was a bit nervous about how it would blend onto my very fair skin. It also looked somewhere in between liquidy and thick, at a nice medium consistency.

I applied it in very, very small amounts and the color aspect seemed okay. Though it looked darker than my skin color, once blended it wasn’t as highly pigmented and actually covered redness well. The texture, however, was very off to me! It felt very heavy on my face and immediately felt very matte and strange.

It dried down very fast and was a little hard to blend for me. A little goes a long, long way but in the end, I just felt that it looked way too cakey, heavy, and overly matte for me. It gave my skin a lot of texture, especially on areas where there were pores and just wouldn’t let my skin breathe at all.

I definitely would not trust it for under eye coverage because of the way that it sits. Overall, I would not buy again. Perhaps of you are someone who needs very heavy coverage and do not care about added texture on the skin, this would be for you, but its definitely not for me.

I got this product in one of my boxy charm boxes. I never really used concealer and I was a beginner so I didnt really pay much attention to it. I regret it lol. I started using it as a eyeshadow primer and its amazing.

Its lightweight and made my eyeshadow last longer. I do wish I had gotten it a shade lighter so that the colorful shadows would show up a some more but Its ok it works great. I would buy it again once I’m done with the other concealers and primers are done because it’s priced at a good point.

And the packaging is nice I do love there logo as well.

I actually stumbled on this concealer by chance, having used Bare Minerals and looking to give Charlotte T a try – when I went to Oxford Circus CT was extremely busy so I popped round to YSL. I’ve used the eclat before, but found it wasn’t suitable (and wasn’t meant to be) for an all purpose concealer – the lady suggested I try this out and I was immediately impressed and snapped it up.

Since getting home I’ve observed the concealer blends seamlessly into my foundation (atm I’m using a Bobbi Brown so not a direct match) and offers great under eye without looking too heavy (I’m v pale so prone to big shadows) as well as strong concealing capabilities elsewhere.

I can also wear it on its own without looking strange. Best beauty purchase of 2022 as far as I’m concerned.

This is a liquid-y concealer with a weightless feel to it. It’s more of a light- medium coverage. I forgot that I have it on, and it lasts all day! I’ve used with several moisturizers, primers, and sunscreens, and it plays well with everything I have tried.

I have also applied with both a brush and a sponge. I prefer the sponge, but the brush works as well! I have very sensitive skin that doesn’t like many skin products, but this one has given me no issues! Your skin will look like skin, and it evens things out.

I personally use this all over my skin instead of foundation. While it evens your skin tone, don’t expect super full coverage for any blemishes. It also isn’t super brightening. It’s 100% your skin but better (which I LOVE) I use Fenty under my eyes in conjunction with this just to get that brightening effect.

Definitely a great every day concealer!.

I like the product. Seems to blend in rather smooth and not chalky like some. I’m 56, so I need a concealer that is not dry as those tend to settle in fine lines. This one works nice. I don’t find bottle feels like there is a lot of product and perhaps that’s just me.

but, for the price, I’m OK as other brands are pricier. Considering this is YSL, I like the price point and I just hope there is more in the bottle then what it actually feels. Otherwise, the product is very nice.

Really disappointed in this concealer. It has good coverage, but fails to fully cover up my dark circles when drugstore concealers can. I really dislike the consistency of it, it dries quick and is hard to blend out and when you do blend out it looses the coverage so you have to keep reapplying.

The worst thing about this is concealer is the horrible chalky effect it creates on my skin, my skin looks worse after I’ve applied it. In the description it says it can be used to cover tattoos which I think is a massive exaggeration considering it can’t cover up a dark spot or dark circles.

Tarte concealer is so much better.

This is the best and only concealer I have used for years now (I use MFCC05). It gives a natural look as if I’m not wearing anything. Matches my skin tone perfectly. I could not find it at the store I usually get it from so I hopped online and found you and ordered 5.

i’m 15 and playing around with makeup, and i’m not incredibly good, but i know what i like and don’t. i bought this without even really testing the shade or anything and it’s literally the same match to my skin.

it makes my face look like literal chocolate and it baked really well and didn’t make my face look cakey. 100% gonna keep buying this. one thing i would point out is at first i thought i got scammed because i didn’t know it was a clicker, and it didn’t come out very easily.

I have discoid lupus and the scars or spots of different colors happen to me on my face This make up is super amazing! I do not have to put on different foundations with this. I use it alone and it stays on during my games I play with softball and more sports also.

This is a awesome product and it does not harm my face. I could sell all this make up if I was to show what it can do! It is also safe for my condition!.

First, the good: The formula is beautiful and natural, not too dry for undereyes , sets nicely and doesn’t crease or shift, and actually feels “bendy” or stretchy as the name implies, which I love (and can be rare to find).

However, the shade just does not work for me on its own. I got the lightest one but it is insanely peachy, to the point that it makes me think of my Skinfood Salmon Undereye corrector. I might use it like that, but because of the finish I’m not sure how well it will layer.

Will have to experiment, but if you have a peachy skin tone it is a godsend!.

The concealer tends to have orange undertone even with the lightest #1 shade and with my paler skin, the color does not fit like other Asian concealers. It also is not mask proof. I tried using primer and set it using powder, yet the concealer smudges onto the mask.

If you tend to be on the paler side, I recommend not purchasing this product.

I really liked this concealer when I lived in Japan, so I am happy I am able to buy it here. Good coverage + SPF, especially good for spots after pimples, pigmentation spots, etc.

I have this concealer in the shade ‘Vanilla’ which is available in the US but not available in Australia, but the ingredients list is identical for both countries. Vanilla is a light yellow shade suitable for light, warm olive skin tones.

It is a liquid concealer with a doe-foot sponge applicator. The formula includes glycerin and Vit E, and is fragrance-free. It has a creamy consistency that spreads and blends easily. Coverage is about medium for a concealer.

I am able to dot this under my eye and blend to reduce the look of dark circles. It is slightly hydrating, has a natural finish and doesn’t look cakey. However, it does settle into my fine lines a little after a few hours.

My eye areas is a bit dehydrated and crepey though. I wish Maybelline Australia would make the full shade range available here in Australia.

Is it really a dupe? So many people compare the much loved Maybelline fit me concealer to the hyped up Nars radiant creamy concealer. I have only swatched the nars concealer and tried it once under my eyes and so can’t really compare them both.

However what I can say is that it definitely does feel like a more luxury concealer. I have this in the shade 35 and find it to be slightly darker than my skin tone. However because of it’s orange undertone I can even use this shade without a corrector and get a medium coverage without the under eye looking grey.

But this does mean that I usually need to go in with a highlighter pen or lighter concealer and brighten up the area. Packaging? This concealer comes in the normal doe-foot applicator/lip gloss tube style, allowing an easy distribution of product to the desired areas of the face.

The doe-foot picks up sufficient amounts of product where you can carefully build up the coverage to the desired amount. Coverage? I would say this is a medium coverage concealer ( slightly less than the collection perfection concealer) but can be built up really well.

Longevity?I would say this concealer lasts about 6-7 hours on me. I usually like to set this concealers as opposed to other concealers because of it’s creamier consistency. However it does dry down and so setting it, is not essential.

Consistency? This concealer is super creamy and blends effortlessly under the eyes. Hence why some people see it as a dupe to the Nars radiant creamy concealer. Creasing? I do find this concealer to crease after sometime, especially if I have used too much.

To counteract this I like to use a damp sponge and blend out the product, achieving a flawless under eye area. This is a total recommendation from me, especially for a highstreet concealer. At a £5. 99 price point you will definitely feel it is totally worth it.

This is a fantastic affordable concealer. It has a doe foot applicator, which makes it easy to apply. This concealer has great lasting power. It holds up through an entire work day. I haven’t experienced any problems with melting either.

If you’re looking for an affordable medium coverage concealer, this is the one for you! What’s great about this product is that it’s actually a dupe for the “NARS Radiant Creamy Concealer”! The Maybelline is such a great dupe because it looks and has a similar formula! Covermark products are excellent and this is no exception. It applies easily and lasts all day.

The color was much lighter then the picture. Didn’t like or use.

Cover.s nicely, but disappears quickly and has to be re applied often

This was a tricky one for me. Let me start off by saying that I have pronounced under eye circles and some fine lines, In addition to having extremely dry skin. I have tried many under eye concealers with varying results.

I’ve received numerous it cosmetics samples and I have enjoyed them, they seem to be quality products. When I received this I tried it immediately and was not impressed. It is very thick and tacky and seem to accentuate my under eye bags which are not even that noticeable.

I decided to give it another try this time addressing the overly moist look under my eyes I added a little bit of setting powder and it made a big difference. The coverage is very good but I am still not ready to leave my two-faced born this way concealer yet.

You have to work with this product for sure I suggest putting a small dab on your ring finger and patting it onto your circles a little bit goes a long way so take my word for it and just put a dot. I have it on today and one thing I can say is that it is excellent as far as creasing goes, My under eyes feel and look hydrated and are not creased at all which is pretty amazing.

Every under eye concealer that I have tried with the exception of too-faced has left my eyes very dry and flaky no matter how much prep I do. I don’t know how this product would fare with oily skin I suggest picking up a small sample size.

This may be a better suited for mature or dry skin but as I mentioned you have to really work with it to get the desired results. Pros are its hydrating, doesn’t flake, has pretty good coverage cons are it is very tacky, can be difficult to work with, will accentuate bags under your eyes.

Color: Medium Nude I have wrinkles and fine lines under my eyes. I also have sever allergies that also makes my eyes itchy and irritated and puffy. I am looking for a waterproof, full coverage, transfer proof, and no creasing.

I know there will be some creasing and settling. The girls at Sephora recommend Tarte Shape Tape or this concealer. I purchased this instead, but my holy grail concealer is now Tarte Shape Tape, but I realized I never reviewed this one.

So here it is. This is a thick formula that takes some getting use to. Really need to apply with your fingers so that you can warm the product up. I use my ring finger and dab into my under eye area after moisturizing.

I really like how it melts into my undereyes. It is very tacky and requires to be set with a powder. It does feel moisturizing under the eyes, but also heavy. In my opinion this is not full coverage unless you really pack it on, but then it looks cakey.

This is also not waterproof, because after tears from allergy flareup where I dab the corners of my eyes with tissue, this concealer comes off. It is not good for covering blemishes on the face because it is so thick and sticky, just does not sit right under or over my foundation.

But since a little goes a long way, this single tube has lasted me a year and well after a year, I am done with this concealer. That is when I tried Tarte Shape Tape and now I am not looking back.

I got to try this after all the hype and I’m glad I did. When I first used this, I was immediately displeased. It is an incredibly thick product that seems borderline waxy/shiny in nature. I thought it would be way too difficult to work with and wasn’t looking forward to it, but it surprised me.

I think the trick is to apply a (very) little bit to the back of your hand. This is an incredibly pigmented product so it’s essential to use only the tiniest amount and build it up in layers. The warmth from the back of my hand allowed it to become more malleable and blending it out was easier than I had initially expected.

I use a concealer brush to sheer this one out after applying it to my face in the desired locations, with exception of the undereye where I use my ring finger to gently pat it out (brush bristles would be way too harsh for that delicate area).

It offers medium-high coverage that (thankfully) isn’t mask-like at all and sets well with a powder. It doesn’t dry out my undereye area and seems to stay put, which is nice. Using this concealer takes a bit more work than my favourite twist-tube wand-applicator concealers, which is why I’m deducting one star.

But it’s still a solid choice and definitely exceeds its first impression.

I already knew I loved the KVD Beauty products I’d tried thus far so when I was sent this I had high expectations for it. Happy to say that it did not disappoint!! I am light/pale with pink undertones and the “Light 107” shade I received blended with my skin tone so well that you could not see any “line” between where it stops and my bare skin begins.

A little bit goes a long way with this and it definitely gives a buildable medium-full coverage (depending on how much redness/discoloration you have in the area you’re applying it—in some areas where I have less Rosacea it was full coverage upon the first thin application).

Despite the full coverage, it did not look cakey at any point in the day like some can and had a nice skin-like finish without being too matte either, which I loved. I also love that it did not settle into (or accentuate) my fine lines I’m starting to get in my under eye and didn’t seem to exacerbate or highlight any dryness there either which I have found other hydrating concealers to do.

The only reason I gave it 4 stars rather than 5 was just because it tended to settle into and slightly accentuate the enlarged pores I have right around my nose from Rosacea, but it did not look noticeably bad there unless you were looking close-up in a makeup mirror and especially if Rosacea or very large pores in places aren’t something that you have anyways, don’t let that sway you from trying this one! I would still repurchase.

Love the applicator too!.

Fabulous concealer. It is extremely lightweight and has a low viscosity, but it is very opaque. I only need a tiny amount to conceal my under eye. It mixes well with eye cream to get a lighter coverage.

It wears well over all of my skincare products and sunscreen (which is hard to find). And it is very long lasting! I can wear this to the gym, get very sweaty, and by the end of my workout the concealer is still in place and looks great.

I also find that since you only need a tiny amount to get full coverage, it doesn’t crease because such a minimal amount of product is required. Overall I am so impressed with this concealer and will 100% purchase again once I finish.

My only comment is that the light shades are EXTREMELY light. I originally picked up Light 109, and had to get a darker, warmer shade (111). Despite having pale skin, the third lightest shade made me look ghastly- so much so that two people commented on how white my under-eye looked.

So I do recommend testing in store. I’m usually the lightest shade in complexion products, but with KVD I’m the 5th lightest shade, and the warm tone was a better match for my cool toned skin. I love the concealer, but think it’s best to test the colour in store.

Contrary to my expectations, I thought this product performed admirably. When it comes to concealer, I’m quite particular. Finding the proper shade and texture is difficult, especially for the under-eye area; the rest of the face can be winged and touched up during the day.

The under-eye area may make or break your overall appearance. It can draw attention to a region for the wrong reasons, which you don’t want to happen no matter what strategy you use. I’ve heard horror stories about grey spots seeping into the folds of the skin and aging you instantly.

Concealer is essential these days because the eyes are the only part of the face that is visible when wearing a mask. At the start of the day, I layered it with an eye cream on clean skin. It was a little too thin for me, but I liked how it could be built up and how smooth the texture was.

The area was not powdered. I put it through an 8-plus-hour test because that’s how long I work on a typical day, and then I did a follow-up. After 8 hours, it still looked good and only needed minor touch-ups before going out for a few more hours.

It had a long life span. There was no melting or seeping into the folds. After removing makeup, my under-eyes did not feel dry. The concealer’s longevity and ability to build is impressive. The return on investment is excellent, and a little product goes a long way.

I first purchased one of these concealers last year in the colour ‘light plus’ last year. I absolutely loved the application, finish and colour match. I repurchased the concealer recently however, the formula seems to have changed? The colour (light plus) is much lighter this time round and the consistency makes the product harder to apply.

In addition, the new concealer leaves my skin looking and feeling dry, flaky and cakey. I noticed that the packaging has also changed from the concealer I purchased last year and the product volume differs slightly.

The concealer I purchased in 2021 was 0. 24fl oz and the new is now 0. 25. I therefore wonder whether the must have changed. Based on my recent purchase of this product, I don’t think I will be buying it again, which is a shame as I so loved it the first time round!.

This concealer works brilliantly to cover up red patches and spots (thanks to a stressful week I had the chance to test it out on a large blemish). It has a soft, matt appearance and blends easily to give a very natural finish.

And despite this natural appearance, it does not crease, or fade, or budge. At. All. Even with a mask. Even in humid weather. This was my first purchase from Sculpted by Aimee, and I’ll definitely be investigating more of her cosmetics.

I’d also really recommend having a look at some of her videos online – her demonstration of how to apply concealer was so useful.

This is the only concealer I have ever used that is able to cover up my blemishes, redness and rosacea. Moreover, I am very pale and finding a concealer that matches my skin tone is very difficult but Porcelain was a perfect match, also as a non-makeup wearer previously it makes your face look like your skin but better, really chuffed I found this product.

Looking forward to trying some more of Aimee’s products.

Ok so I’m torn, everyone on here pretty much loves this concealer but it’s a toss up for me. First off… the shades are completely wrong. this shade (215) is supposed to be a light neutral… it’s literally orange on me… I’m usually a light neutral during the winter and maybe light-medium during the summer.

I had bought the second light neutral shade in this during the summer and it was darker than this one so I had to return it and purchased this lighter one instead. It’s still too dark. It’s not even close to my skin tone… so I don’t know what happened here with the shades.

Secondly the applicator… it’s IMPOSSIBLE to pull it out without it exploding everywhere…EVERY. SINGLE. TIME. I don’t get it… I try and pull it out and it just goes everywhere. It’s hard to get the applicator out of the tube.

The only positive thing I have to say is I like the formula… it covers well… I love that it’s hydrating and doesn’t crease in my under eye area BUT the shades definitely need to be improved and not pull so warm.

Now I don’t know if it’s just a prep issue or what but this concealer is great! I use this with the milk hydro grip primer and I have a very moisturizing skin prep routine I am diligent with. I use toner, serums, moisturizer, eye cream, and SPF and a primer depending on the day.

Sometimes I don’t want to use the Hydro Grip primer over my whole face and I’ll just put a little bit on a finger and pat it on under my eyes prior to using this. I have used this with my fingers, with a brush, and with a sponge and I have found the most success with a beauty blender sponge- but with my skin that’s usually my preferred application method for foundation or concealer.

The consistency feels kind of thick to me, a little goes a long way, and i found it was streaky trying to blend it out with a brush. I do find this creases minimally on me. I have set with a powder before and sometimes I just forget and only use a setting spray.

In general on my skin creasing is my main concern- but this hides my dark circles and doesn’t overly emphasize my crinkles. I put this on under my foundation (because this shade is too light for me).

I’ve had a lot of concealers and they’ve been okay enough to do the job but I’ve never really been wowed by one until I purchased this. I do agree it dries quickly so if you’re accustomed to dotting your concealer on and waiting a while before blending out, I’d caution against that.

I dot under both eyes and blend it out fairly quick after applying. Would definitely repurchase in the future!.

i’m someone who switches up my concealer pretty regularly to keep trying new ones and also to find one that best suits my skin type and tone. My under eyes are something I am more insecure about having a more tan complexion my dark circles are pretty prominent.

When I first got this product I was worried it wouldn’t have the coverage I wanted, but to say I was very satisfied with this concealer would be an understatement. The coverage is amazing it’s not too heavy or too light, but it is very light feeling.

It is buildable and so easy to blend out with both a brush or damp beauty blender. The applicator is a really good size and shape which gives you just the right amount of product. I have always had a problem with creasing under my eyes and I did notice this many hours later, but it was still significantly less than some other products i’ve tried.

It sits on the skin beautifully and it’s become a staple in my makeup routine. I will definitely be purchasing again.

I’m so happy that I found this concealer, this honestly might be the best that I’ve found. I have deep set eyes and naturally have dark circles, I’ve been self conscious about it since I became aware of them.

I used to slather on tons of Benefit’s Boooing industrial concealer when I was in middle school. As I got older I felt that wearing heavy concealer just brought more attention to my under eyes, so I just stopped worrying about it so much.

That being said, I still feel better about myself when I don’t have incredibly dark circles. I also have very dry skin, so it’s just been a struggle to find something that’s full coverage but not too dry, and still looks natural.

Well… this concealer is freaking awesome. It’s hydrating and natural looking and still gives a beautiful amount of coverage. I will likely use this product until they no longer make it. I used the swatches to figure out my best shade match, and it’s absolutely perfect (I got cool ivory, it’s actually pretty peachy.

I have fair/light skin with a peach undertone). You might want to try swatching in store if that’s an option, I think I just lucked out. Also, the applicator is interesting. I’m not sure the reasoning for it being shaped how it is, but I like it!.

This concealer works perfectly with the HD foundation. I have some small reddish patches under my mouth, and dark rings under my eyes consistent with having a toddler (and less sleep than I’d like) and this concealer covers them beautifully, without being greasy or oily.

It also doesn’t feel particularly heavy like some others I’ve tried, which is a big win in my book!.

First of all the coverage is amazing! The application is amazing! And the texture and they way it applies and goes in with your foundation is amazing as well! I highly recommended this medium to high coverage concealer!.

Great concealer. Smooth application with this product, doesnt feel heavy on the skin, blends out well, the shade colour match was spot on for me. Gave great coverage for the under eye area. A little goes a long way.

After NARS increased the price of their Radiant Creamy Concealer to 35 CAD, I vowed to find a new concealer that wouldnt break the bank as much. And, since I hadnt really ventured into the makeupworld of Este Lauder, I decided to give their Double Wear concealer a go.

Im quite happy I did so, because Ive found my newest Holy Grail concealer which may even outperform NARS offering. I know, quite a bold and probably unpopular statement to make, but this concealer does everything.

It sits beautifully on the skin, covering everything from redness to scars to active blemishes. I wouldnt say its as full coverage as Kat von Ds tattoo concealer, but it does cover fantastically nonetheless.

If Ive got a real problem area, Ill use a bit more of this than normal, and it covers everything right up. It also works amazingly under the eyes, covering up dark circles instantly. It also doesnt crease throughout the day, which is wonderful theres nothing more aggravating than looking at your reflection an hour into the day and realizing that your under eye concealer has creased into fine lines you didnt even know you had.

Ive also used it to even out my eyelids I dont wear eyeshadow, and for some reason, my lids are quite a dark red colour and it stays in place the whole day without creasing. Im absolutely in love with this.

I havent got a negative thing to say about it, which really is a first. I could see that if you built it up too much it may be a bit cakeylooking, but I havent encountered that issue yet fingers crossed.

It always looks quite natural on me, regardless of how much I pack on. Id also recommend using a pinpoint brush with this, as dotting it on with the doefoot applicator gives you much more product than necessary.

You really only need a bit of this to get the job done, which is fantastic. This product really does what it claims its a light, creamy concealer that blends flawlessly into the skin with minimal effort.

It can cover everything from blemishes and scars to under eye circles with a minimal amount. Its also quite buildable if youve got a particular problem area, you can layer this product up to get the fullest coverage necessary.

Watch out NARS, because this ones giving you a run for your money.
