Packed full of information and probably one of the most comprehensive hunting manuals I’ve found. Sure wish this book was around back when I was trying to figure things out. I do think It could have used a little more in the butchering section, particulary about dealing with a bad shot.

If your new to hunting I would say this is a must have for your library. It will get you off to a great start.

This guy breaks it all down on every aspect of big game hunting. If you have an aspiring big game hunter who is just starting out I cant explain how valuable this book will be. It covers it all from planning to clothes selection, gear needed, tactics, field work, field dressing, butchering to cooking.

This is not your average, let’s make a few bucks by placating the fans with cheap special effects, video game movie. The creators of this movie really put the time into making entry into this world uncomfortable, creepy, a bit non-linear, and lacked respect for keeping cool characters alive.

I really liked this movie and found it a bit unconventional a fresh. The monster are horrifying. These are not kid monster that easily fall to an oversized sword. These things are deadly in every sense of deadly.

People are definitely at the bottom of the food chain. Overall, I really liked this movie. Monster Hunter has the beginning of a fun, exciting, and scary trilogy. I don’t much about the game but I really hope the director gets the opportunity to complete this series.

This movie is full of cool monster action. I’m somewhat familiar with the Monster Hunter games but I’ve never played one before. So I wasn’t sure what to expect watching this. The characters are likeable enough for what’s going on throughout the movie.

The action scenes are very cool. And there are quite a lot of them. There’re a few moments that fans of the game series will appreciate. If you aren’t aware of them then you may be confused or just find it odd or funny.

I hope if we get a sequel they will add in a little more campiness. The few campy moments we got in this mostly fast paced action movie were some of my favorite parts. Overall I found the movie to be an enjoyable popcorn flick.

I’d recommend this to fans of the Monster Hunter series, those who like monster films, and any action movie junkies. 4 out of 5 stars.

First off, I strongly recommend against watching any movie based off a videogame/anime/book if you are expecting the story you already know. Why watch something when you already know everything that’s going to happen? They have to change things up to keep it interesting! That said, I thoroughly enjoyed the movie.

Sure, there was some things they messed up. like the Rathalos’ (It’s not a spoiler. it’s right there on the box!) weakness and such. But I liked the attention to detail in other things like them using traps and other monsters poison against bigger threats.

Plus, it was very cool to see how modern military would stand against a monster threat! The only gripe I would have would be them casting Ron Perlman as the Admiral. They could’ve got some less known actor and saved money with the snore inducing performance he gave.

He had very few speaking lines and his action bits were the least impressive out of the entire movie with the coolest things he does being entirely special effects. Aside from that poor casting choice, I think Milla Jovovich followed through with her usual action movie performances, and Tony Jaa is still a thrill to watch thanks to his actual background with Muay Thai fighting.

In closing, I’m rating this movie 5/5 because I enjoyed it, not because it’s perfect. Don’t go in expecting to see the game you likely already know, this story is about a modern soldier being sent into a small portion of that world, not exploring the entire world itself.

This is a good action, drama movie filled with many twists and turns. Has a good storyline with a measure of love and thrills. Good movie to add to ones collection.

I thought that a Sam Worthington movie would be more interesting. I found it slow with a lot of unanswered questions that should have been explained more in depth, earlier in the movie.

Advanced Bush Craft takes wilderness skills to a new level. It thoroughly explains the nuances of life in the woods where we work to “smooth it” and live with the environment. The chapters are easy to read and the diagrams easy to follow.

These are skills that should be taught in schools and experienced by kids and adult on the weekend. I have gone through this book a few times and still find myself picking it up to refresh the skills I don’t always use.

This book is very light and is set out well with a decent size font for easy reading even in low light conditions such as a red light headlamp at night. Features rounded page corners so you don’t end up with dog ears if you carry it in your pocket or pack all the time.

A lot of practical knowledge is shared within but keep in mind that some content is specific to the American continent, and may be irrelevant to specific regions, example: Some Tree species & Trapping.

Some trapping practices may be illegal in other parts of the world, check with your own country’s regulations on trapping. All in all a good read and re-readable to brush up on existing skills not often practiced in the field and as they say “knowledge weighs nothing” Review by Raven.

This series of books is a great tool for thinking out of the box and opening your mind to doing something you never could before. Survive. Explore with confidence.

Bought a 2oz can and it lasted all sumer up here in Alaska (May-September). We went camping every weekend. After a while you will use less and less once you find out how little it takes. Highly recomend to use a knife or another tool to scoop it out at first.

The residue isnt the best. Other than that, she runs like a top!.

This has always been our go to brand to keeping scents ar bay when hunting. It’s also a good starter kit for anyone who is just starting out and need it all to try out. It comes with 10 items such as laundry detergent , 12 oz field spray and a 16 oz refill for the spray, pac it re fills, soap travel case along with the soap, 5 color face paint and spf 30 lip balm!! Comes in handy! If haven’t tried this definitely recommend yall trying it if hunt!.

The products are great and I’ve used them for years. Just not what I ordered. The one I ordered had a few different items then what I received. When I purchased, it had wind detector and when my order came in it was a different box.

Was really the only reason I ordered the bundle package.

Good kit. It was wet and bagged and boxed back up. Shipping label was cut and reattached. Still missing 2 items. Backorder i suspect.

I am 6ft tall and weigh about 245lbs. I purchased a 2xl and it fits comfortably. The vest features, lots of pockets and the external battery back-up charging port, will surely be used. For the Lineman safety strap, I think I will buy another that comes with Carabiners or a Quick Snap.

Overall, very happy with my purchase.

I am 300 pounds, 6 ft. tall and 63 years old. Since I retired I can finally go hunting. This harness fits me like it was made for me. I can put it on before I even get to the stand. It is comfortable, sturdy, good-looking.

This has changed my life. I feel so secure and confident with this on. Thank You whoever designed and built this system.

Bought to replace old HSS. Love the features (pockets, usb, scent control, bino strap) but was disappointed that the size was very snug after loosening the whole way with the bunched up buckle system to loosen jamming my side when put on (I’m 5’7”/163lbs and am under their stated requirements for an S/M).

Also came with 2 cheap straps (like you get with the harness when you buy a tree stand) and no carabiner. Spending this much $ should produce a superior product compared to all other competition (certainly is the most expensive one you can buy @ Cabelas.

Back to the drawing board.

My second Barnett and very pleased with both. Started with a Jackal which shot great but wanted something more compact for blind hunting. This Whitetail Hunter 2 was a great choice. Very well built and easier to maneuver around in my doghouse blind.

After trying different arrow weight combinations I came up with one that allows me to shoot out to 35 yards for deer (my maximum distance of choice) utilizing just the top two reticle lines of the scope.

Using the stock Headhunter bolts and adding 125gr. field tips and 25gr. lighted nocks for a total of 440gr. brings me in right around 330 fps. Plenty fast enough for most hunting. Top reticle on the Barnett 4×32 five line scope sighted dead on at 20 yards gives me a POI just a bit over 1” low at 5 yards, 1/2” low at 10 yards and just a hair low at 15 yards.

At 25 yards, still using this top line and same POA, I hit just a tad over 1” low. The second reticle line from the top aiming dead on at 30 yards comes in at about 1” high and with the same aim back to dead on at 35 yards.

Basically anything out to 26 yards I aim kill zone top line. Anything between 27 and 35 yards aim kill zone second reticle line. Line 3 4 5 just along for the ride, though I’ll have to shoot em and see just where they fall in.

Come hunting season I’ll swap out the field points for some 125 gr. Schwacker broadheads and I’m ready to rumble. There are a lot of crossbows to choose from out there. Many good ones some not so good.

I and many others think Barnett makes a great line of bows and quality crossbows in this price range especially. Three arrow shot picture shows my last 3 shots holding dead on bulls at 35 yards with second reticle line from top.

Very impressed with the Ghost 425. Extremely fast! The one bolt assembly sounded easy but just remember you have to wiggle the bow part to get it to set inside assembly. Out of the box and assembled the scope’s lighted crosshairs wouldn’t go off at first but after pulling the battery out and putting it back in, it works fine now.

This crossbow requires a Full Grown Man to cock it! The 206lbs draw weight isn’t a joke. I pulled my old 185 will no problems but that extra 21lbs was shocking. Out of the box it shot way low, 8″ low and 5″ to the right at 10 yards.

It took about 10 shots before I was satisfied. Moved it out to 20 and 30 yards and it shot a touch high. That could have been me pulling off but it was consistently high 3 shots each. Really looking forward to bow season to start! The only negative’s I can come up with is, the cost of additional arrows.

55. 00-65. 00 for 3 is a bit more than I think arrows should cost. Granted they send you 3 with the crossbow but I can about guarantee you will lose your arrow shooting a deer as powerful as this crossbow is.

2nd is the placement of the sling eyes. I pulled the sling off my other crossbow and I could barely get the one on the stock side in. It is set on the side of the the stock and not the bottom. That would be the only negative I could find of the crossbow itself.

I can’t find my prior review so I’m adding another to follow it up. My Jackal has flaws, at least one of which is subtle. It is physically impossible for this quiver to be attached to your crossbow. It’s also physically impossible to insert quarrels / bolts / arrows / darts into this quiver, or withdraw them from this quiver, without damaging something in the process.

You cannot slide them in, you cannot snap them in from the side. Oh, it might be possible if you drill them out and file them. Second, the gaudy camo wrap stuff makes the crossbow look a lot like a toy, and it can’t be removed so you can only paint over it.

Depending upon your plans, I suggest either blaze orange or medium brown. The gap between the guide rails isn’t consistent and when properly cocked, only the first (nock end) five inches of the arrow is touching the rail at all; the remaining 15 inches of arrow are suspended in midair.

That seems to me like a time bomb waiting to go off. I thought surely mine was the only one with that issue, but I hear it more and more often from others now. Update: Barnett’s support people want nothing to do with me now that the sale is over.

Any problem that was built into the bow is MY problem, apparently.

Hamskea Trinity Hunter Pro rest is Awesome! Extremely well built. Perhaps over built! Installed very easy. Set up was simple. With the rest mounted level, set your desired rest height and center shot using the Micro tune adjustments.

Next, set your nock height. Last item to set up is the rest drop. The cord can be set up to use either the top or bottom limb or the down cable. Attach the cord and make the final adjustment by using the supplied keeper.

Very quiet and consistent. String stretched out after about 50 shots. Needs the O ring for the slide or something to hold the slide in place. Never had any failures or issues after 100 shots

Bought this with high expectations, however, it fell short. grossly. They nylon rope skips over the pulleys and gets caught. Fought like the devil trying to use this on a whitetail this year. It finally worked, but not after a lot of mucking about.

I was gifted this a year ago and can’t return it now, so I guess I will either have to get a bigger rope so that it works better or just cut my losses and get a better product. In hindsight, I would prefer to buy my own stuff, because I go to the store to look at it myself first to see if it’s an acceptable product.

In good conscience I wouldn’t endorse this product.

I bought these to raise and lower my feeders. Doesn’t have enough length between the pulleys to raise something more than a few feet off the ground. Would probably work ok for hanging a deer

I like Hunter Specialities products and this hoist is another great product. I looked at several other brands and for price and quality this was my choice hands down. I process my own deer and this hoist sure makes skinning and quartering a lot easier.

It has a 600 lb capacity and is made very sturdy. I especially like the self locking feature for the rope. You simply hoist to your desired height and release a couple of inches and it locks securely.

Great product and great price. Totally pleased with this hoist and gambrel. Also i ordered on Sunday and received it on Tuesday. Fast shipping.

I love playing all of the Far Cry games, they are all so much fun and so exciting! But the Primal game in the series is one of my favorites by far. Even though they are speaking a “ancient”(made up) language it provides subtitles and the graphics are beyond amazing.

The scenery is beautiful, along with the animals. The gore is crazy realistic as well. You have to hunt for your own food to restore your health/energy. Search for different furs, plants, berries and other things to craft to get better and further in the game.

This game makes you feel as if you are right in the game, once you get into it you could be stuck playing for hours and not even realize how much time has went by. If you are looking for a new, fun , exciting, storyline game to get into this is something you should really check out you will not be let down.

I had never heard of this game, it seems it’s a side project to the main Far Cry games. My brother hounded me to get it and I’m so glad I did! It’s fun because it’s different to the usual shoot ‘em up games with war tactics and guns.

You get an awesome bow, spears, and best of all you get to tame predators that become your sidekick (you need it when everything is trying to kill you!) My favourite was the sabre, you can mark enemies and he will run after them and take them down.

You also have a Hawke which flows over and tags enemies for you. Sadly the ending was pretty lame, but all in all I was bummed it ended. It is fun to immerse yourself in a cave man world and do something completely different!!.

When this game was released I was unsure about it, thought it would be rubbish, being a Far Cry fan I eventually bought it. And Im really glad I did. Its much the same as all the other Far Cry games but with no guns or vehicles.

If you are into Far Cry and havent played Primal then I think you will be pleasantly surprised with this one. It isnt as bad as most reviews have said. Go on, get yourself a copy now.

I owned one for years and bought another last month. They are still inexpensive and they still do the job. I use it for hauling out deer, pulling my ice fishing sled, and hauling waterfowl gear (across pastures, fields, etc) The shoulder straps could be a little bigger, but they are big enough to get over my winter clothes.

You can make the pull rope longer by adding rope. Cheap, effective, takes up very little space in my hunting pack, stands up to extended use: what’s not to like?!.

I bought this two years ago and have used it 4 times. By far the best drag system I’ve used. Keeps the hind quarters of the deer pretty much off the ground making it easier to drag.

Bought one of these like 5 years ago. Absolutely no regrets. Makes dragging any game so much easier. I used a piece of rope for way to long. Don’t hesitate, buy one of these immediately!

I love the romper except for the button closure. It’s very diffficult to button up the way the style is. It’s very hard to get the button through the hole because it’s only on the inside flap. Other than that, it is my favorite romper.

Worked perfectly as a bittering hop in the cream ale I just brewed. Faint citrus notes make it a good bittering hop for this style. Seemed like good, relatively fresh pellets. Got the job done!

I love this romper! I got in the Charcoal in size M. I love the look, chick. I wear to the gym, I wear a wicking shirt underneath because I work out pretty hard and sweat like crazy and this will show how hard you work!.

Archers are the way to go with Lumineth! In my first game of Warcry, these guys took out about half of my opponent’s pieces and left him crippled. Second game these guys got hit hard but still traded pieces left and right.

This is the most effective tool in harvesting wild turkeys. I have used real turkey fans with huge success, but having a real fan mounted on your barrel eliminates extra movement and you are ready to fire at any time.

This method is so effective I wonder if it should not be allowed but I love it! But use this only in occasions where you know exactly who is around you for your safety. Be careful on public land!.

I received this late into turkey season and unfortunately did not get to put it into action. However, I do like the product and feel it will do the job next year. It is well made and the graphics are good.

I like how the bipod clamps to the barrel and you can fold the turkey fan up for easy carry. The bipod also makes it easy to set your gun down without getting it dirty and makes it easy to quickly pick up.

I own an older model and have shot multiple good Toms while using it. Especially dominant birds while some subordinate have run from it, one precaution is to make sure there aren’t other trigger happy hunters in area !! I’ve had one bird come running from over 100 yards to kick my butt which sealed his fate !! This new one has the head also compared to mine which only has the fan.

This is a great package for anyone who wants a comprehensive experience of Monster Hunter World. It contains the Iceborne expansion on the disc along with a code to download the Iceborne Deluxe content.

My only issue is that it is a code and you need to have internet access to claim the bonus content and any updates. It would also have been nice if this included a few other DLC like the regular Deluxe content and bonus outfits and gestures.

But otherwise this is a great package that even comes in a Steelbook case that holds the game well. The gameplay takes some grinding and getting used to but once you feel it click the game can be hard to put down.

It requires patience and coordinated strategies to take down its enemies but you get a real sense of satisfaction when you do it. Great game that you can spend hours on either single-player or online with friends which I still have yet to do.

Immersive, spraling locales. Beautiful environments. Tons of weapon and armor choices. Great monster battles. This game is fantastic. Explore wide open environments use terrain to your advantage, and battle gigantic monsters.

Use parts from the monsters to create weopons and armour to enhance your abilties and fight more dificult monsters.

Have been playing Monster Hunter since the ps2 days, and this has to one of my favorite titles so far. It is very approachable to those who have never played the title before as well. nevertheless, it is still very expansive, and requires some dedication.

It is a very rewarding game, and has some of the most beautiful environments I have seen. Highly recommend! Also, play with a friend!.

Scare is the ‘word’. Squirrels move into the attic every Fall and I’ve tried many things and nothing has worked. Someone recommend Fox Urine which worked for them to keep squirrels out of their car’s air filter.

a car that was outside all the time. I squirted the Fox Urine into areas of the attic. One application has kept them at bay. Will occasionally repeat the spraying; I’m in love with this product.

Critters (probably rats) crawled into the air breather system of the family car. The critter(s) chewed through the air filter and damaged the mass air flow sensor ($300+ in damage). I placed a cotton pad under the hood and sprayed it with Tink’s Red Fox-P to keep the critters away.

So far so good. I highly recommend the product!.

This is a product my dad taught me to use years ago. Not a true predator to deer so it works great as a cover scent.

I have put it on and made all needed adjustments. I haven’t used it in the field yet. I love the features of this harness. it seems like it will be comfortable while sit-in in a tree stand. it has a USB port so you can carry a portable charger with you and leave it in your pocket to charge.

I didn’t realize this was one of the features on this harness. It, also, has fleece lined pockets to warm your hands. this was another feature I like about the HSS Hybrid harness. well worth the money.

This harness is one of the highest rated harnesses for use while hunting.

Why does it have a built in USB hub? Had to cut a charging cord out of my safety harness. There are attachments and plastic clips dangling everywhere – good luck being quiet in this thing. I just wanted a pocket for my rangefinder – this thing is obnoxious.

I purchased the Hybrid Flex Safety Harness for it’s pockets, its lack of bulk and like all Hunter Safety Systems they are easy on – easy off! The convenient pockets keep my “don’t go to the stand without it things” like a my grunt calls and release quickly accessible.

The binocular / accessory straps are effective and the new cell phone charging outlet and battery pocket is very functional. Staying safe isn’t an accident, the Hybrid Flex Hunter Safety System adds a lot of functionality and convenience.

I usually buy these before the season and usually lose a few hence the multipack. I had a more expensive raspy call I was using on an older 3 year old bird and he didn’t like the rasp. Switched to the cutter from this kit which was higher pitched and he gobbled back every time.

He proceeded to strut in the middle of a featureless field and wouldn’t come any closer but I got several triple gobbles out of him and another distant bird. Good calls especially for practice and then throughout the season if you need a higher pitched call.

Have been calling for a few years but never mastered the purr to bring those atoms in close. Ordered these and looked on YouTube for lessons on purring with diaphram calls. Have had some minor success already but expect to get better with more practice.

Got two of these sets for about what others were charging for one. Yes, it’s a good deal!.

Had a heck of an early season. Ran up to the store and grabbed this 4 pack. through each one in my mouth seeing the tone differences. Lost almost every single one of them on my hike into one of my spots(found one later on).

but thank goodness i had 4 of them because when time came that i needed to call some birds from one side of the field towards me i was panicking to find a reed. great tone on yelps, easy to use.
