Best Covenant For Prot Warrior (2024 Updated)

My 8 year old son absolutely loves these books, and quite rightly so. They have it all: births, deaths, battles and a little bit of love. The books came in good time and were in perfect condition. My only quarrel with the books is that these are the American version and so have American spellings of words.

Fine for me, but not ideal for young people learning how to spell.

I’ve always loved Warriors and will always love them!! Fantastic books and I highly recommend for any kid/teen (although be warned this is not the first arc in the series! If you’re looking for a introductory series, The Prophecies Begin is where you want to start!) Lovely box set.

If you are looking for a book series for your child, or just even yourself, this series is perfect! It teaches a lot, and is just overall very fun. I’ve read these books since I was in late elementary school, and it helped my imagination stay developed.

Plus, i love cats, so what more could I want? It has mysticism, adventure, and so much more. Definitely get the whole series if you can!.

The wording in the product description is completely misleading – in which states: Warrior Evo Lacrosse Gloves – EC19 -White – Medium. Gloves as in plural or a pair. In fact, it’s just one glove. Not a pair, just one.

In my case it’s a right-handed glove. I’m sure somebody out there is or will be a proud owner of the other half of the pair, a left-handed glove.

These “senior” gloves are actually for kids. Very frustrating that the online description does not note this. Had the same issue with a lacrosse stick that I ordered at the same time. Sent an email and never heard back so just returned both.

Picked these up for BoxLax after much research of reviews, viseos and comparison for protection related issues. Very Happy with the look and feel of these gloves. The backs are ”cut out” on the inside – so super ventilated; coupled with the mesh on the palm, they really stay cool.

They feel broken in right out of the box, yet stiff where you want them to be (bottom of thumb and back of hand) Super light feel and a great grip on the stick even in heavy crease traffic. At the clearance sale pricing, these were a steal! Love my Warrior gloves, and these are a great upgrade from the D-Max and the Riots I have used in the past.

It has some things similar to and some things very different from the first Hyrule Warriors game. Its hard to say which is actually the better. Age of Calamity has the better story and its main campaign battles are a good two to three times as long, while Hyrule Warriors: Definitive Edition has much more post-story content and is more quickly paced for a mobile system like the Switch.

Age of Calamity’s graphics are direct copies from Breath of the Wild, so if you like the cel-shaded look you’ll appreciate Age of Calamity; if not you may think the first game has the better graphics.

Pros: * Not very complicated gameplay. Just keep mashing buttons until enemies go down with occasional dodging and item use. * Excellent story that melds well with the Breath of the Wild events. * Many video cutscenes, far more than in Breath of the Wild, that help tell the story outside of battles.

* Does not require the hundreds of hours to 100% the game as the first Hyrule Warriors does. Con: * Too easy. On most quests, a competent player is in little risk of death at the Normal difficulty level (a Hard and Very Hard level exist for those wishing a greater challenge.

) * Noticeable frame rate drops during rainstorms or when many Lizafos are on screen at once and all spit water, ice, fire, or lightning at the same time * Questionable decision by developers to map jump and dodge to the same button.

Many players experience “misjumps” when they merely mean to dodge when too close to a wall. * Very poor camera positioning which too often gets stuck behind a tree or other object obstructing the view.

Assuming all available sidequests are done, playtime of main campaign is approximately 60 hours. To complete all post-story sidequests the playtime extends to 80-100 hours, depending how many hidden chests and Koroks were not discovered in main story missions on first attempt.

(And the DLCs they’re releasing too. ) Long version: Like pretty much everyone else, I bought this game based on Eiji Aonuma’s appearance at the Nintendo Direct where he said this game would tide us over until the Breath of the Wild sequel came out.

Not having played the previous Hyrule Warriors game I had no idea what to expect. So I was VERY pleasantly surprised when I discovered that this is a TERRIFIC game. It builds flawlessly on the BotW mythos but does so in such a way that actually increases my appreciation for the main game.

(Spoiler alert: one mission has you defending Fort Hateno, so when you visit the location in BotW and see the wreckage, you think to yourself, “I remember taking part in this epic battle 100 years ago!”) The missions and scenarios this game brings you are challenging and fun, yes there are a lot of them but they do build on each other, and unlike some action/adventure games I’ve played, this one actually has a great storyline.

It’s even better if you’ve played BotW and understand the context behind everything that’s happening. The controls are a little different, but after the first few minutes you won’t even notice. The only thing to really know about this game is that unlike BotW, where you can jump in and out anytime without having to invest a lot of time and attention (if you’ve only got a couple of minutes you can go defeat a Bokoblin camp or fight a Lynel and then that’s it), Age of Calamity wants your attention for more involved missions and scenarios, so my preference is to play this game when I can spare more time and attention, and then leave BotW in for “regular” use so I can get away for five minutes now and again.

(All that being said: come on, Mr. Aonuma, release the BotW sequel!).

IšverstiShow in original languageI think the first half of the DLC is not worth the money, there are a few new characters but they can be annoying to unlock. You have to set aside a few hours of grinding to unlock most things inside of the lab.

The only things saving the first half are the new enemies. All of the new enemies are tricky but fun to fight making the grind a bit more tolerable. The second half is what makes this worth the money.

There are new quests that take place in some of hyrules most iconic places such as kakarico village and the coliseum. Not only do they provide new playable characters but they also are a blast to play.

My favorite part of the second half has to be the cutscenes, they all dive into the story and personality behind the characters giving us the last bit of knowledge we did not get in the main game. I think because of the second half, this is worth the money.

If you aren’t planning on spending $250 on gloves, do yourself a favour and don’t put your hands in these. I ordered these online in a moment of weakness, half expecting to return them. I put them on for five minutes, couldn’t do it.

After trying on maybe ten different pairs in-store, these look like the best build quality. Fit is excellent, but that is personal. They are a nice mix of a snug fit in the hand and a looser cuff. The only unknown is durability, but looking at the build quality I am not expecting to be disappointed.

My son bought these gloves with his birthday money and regretted it two months later. The palms are already wearing out and you can almost see through them. You think that 170 dollar gloves would make it a little longer than two months, worse part is that I reached out to warrior and asked if this is common or if they would atleast replace them for us since my son is barely 12 and doesn’t do enough for them to be thinning this bad.

Their answer was simply ‘no, we can’t’. I would never buy warrior products again.

Terrible quality for the price! Bought a pair for my 14U A-level player. After less than 2 weeks, there is a dime-sized hole in the palm on the top hand. I’d be frustrated if I bought the cheapest model, but that is totally unacceptable for a $160 pair of gloves.

The Bauer Supremes these were supposed to replace lasted nearly two full seasons before the palms wore through. Guess we’re going back to Bauer.

Very fitted comfortable pads. However I returned them because they didn’t fit over the skate tongue. Very narrow at the bottom. Probably designed for under tongue set-up.

Awesome pads. Well worth the money. Pretty comfy, and when you do take a puck off the shins, you don’t really notice it! I was surprised with the first puck hit. I saw it coming, but barely felt it!

Protection seems good. The fit and comfortability was not nearly as good for my legs as the Bauer X2.9 shin pads. These were my second favorite of 4 shin pads I tried on

I am an Adult Rec Goalie and play with a wide range of players, Oldtimers to fairly skilled younger players and all levels in between. I decided to replace my Simmons 996 Chest & Arm, which I purchased in 2013.

After the decision, I spent a lot of time reading and watching reviews on several C&A models. My main goal in a new C&A was upgraded protection as well as not sacrificing mobility. As well, I was conscious of budget.

I eventually spoke with a staff member at The Hockey Shop who, based on my stated criteria, suggested either the Warrior or Bauer Elite Senior C&A. I went to a local shop and tried on both C&A’s and was drawn more to the Bauer.

One of the things I thought was important was a side clip on the back strap, which was present on the Simmons 996. I did not like having to slip on the Warrior like a T Shirt. Also, I felt that the Bauer offered greater mobility.

After more research I decided that the Warrior would have greater protection and that the mobility would be acceptable. Once received, I found the degree of adjustability to be as advertised, very good.

I shortened the arms and adjusted the back straps to raise the front as high as possible. I was a bit concerned that it wasn’t high enough to cover the clavicle portion of my Maltese neck guard. I may work on this more but so far it is acceptable.

I also felt that the unit was bulkier than I wanted and wandered about restricted mobility. I put on the C&A along with my kneepads, jock and pants to get a feel for how all would integrate together.

My preference is to wear the C&A outside of my pants. In this regard I found it very workable, being able to run the pant front laces up through the slots of the front that separate the main chest from side portions.

I ran them through the three loops on the lower front and tied them off. I have worn the unit twice so far in play. I found it very comfortable to wear; the protection so far is great, no stingers have yet to be felt.

Also, my concerns over less mobility were dispelled. There was absolutely no restriction of any movements. Regarding pulling it on as a T Shirt, that has been no issue at all. I have changed my mind on the need for the side strap clip.

Good quality piece of gear, great customer service. 4. 5 Stars.

Bought this on string recommendations and the reputation of Warrior gear as being the most protective. I wasn’t misled. I started feeling shots, especially to the arm in the Bauer 1S, which at the time was the ‘pro’ model.

– This RX3+ has faced some shots from elite level players and everything in between and has stood up really well. – Anywhere in the arms you are hit, even by close slap shots, you no longer have that stinger sensation.

– The arms are extremely manoeuvrable and I can finally fix my hair at the end of a game in case there are any girls watching. – It has velcro removable protection for stomach if you don’t tuck, and just remove it if you do.

– Elbow cups are really secure, even when worn loose – Well made – Can turn your head and see over shoulders even with a large mask like the Hakva Only initial downsides were, I had this strapped quite tightly and I found it hot and hard to move in.

This was operator error. I know wear as loose as it’ll go and it sits beautifully and has really made me more confident with harder shots. This will improve your game if you are in something older.

Pros: I’m not sure if this is Pro Level, but am pleasantly happy with the protection. It looks sharp, hugs to the body well. I was hesitant to go to Warrior (from Bauer) but no longer. Warrior has also had specials to make the decision easier.

Cons: The chest protector is bulkier than I would have liked. The Pro+ has extra padding for the inside elbow area. This makes it more bulky and restricts my movement. Consider the other model. It may be a little better for arm movement with little compromise to protection.

Grounded warrior tanks are awesome and powerful!

The tank was smaller than expected but the color and design are great.

These are comfortable gloves for those who like a looser fit. Unfortunately far too quickly have blown through the palm on three sets of these gloves over the last two years. For the price of these higher end gloves, being only one glove that is higher, they are labeled by Warrior as “Pro” level, which should have a more solid built leather in palm.

Very disappointing that they don’t make higher quality products for this cost.

Do Not Buy These! We purchased as replacement for my daughter’s skanky Bauers (which have been washed repeatedly and lasted an entire season). She’s worn these Warriors for less than 30 days and they already have holes in the palm and fingers.

Extremely disappointed in this product. For $159 and a supposed top of the line glove, these are crappy. If I could give them zero stars, I would.

Was looking for a lower-end shoulder pads with less bulky padding so they would be less restrictive to movement. My son is not playing checking hockey yet, so the less expensive shoulder pads are better as they are naturally less restrictive.

These were perfect.

Had to let my husband open it and try it on as it was a birthday present for him and an early one at that. Fits beautifully and lots of protection as his previous one is fit for the museum!!!

Protects well. Shoulder caps a little bulky. Overall comfortable and light weight.

This is my first mask purchase. Always preferred a cage as I got older but finally took the leap. Glad I did. This thing is comfortable. The Mask is everything I hoped for. light weight. Hardware is solid and padding is distributed nicely.

Did I mention comfortable. The mask also came with a bag and neck protector which I have yet to install. It does appear as though the lace that it comes with should be longer, but I’ll be using a skate lace anyways.

On top of a great product, customer service has been stellar!! Quick replies and they are all about customer satisfaction. If only every retailer was like them.

Bought this for my 10u goalie thinking it should last him until he needs a senior size. I wouldn’t think twice about firing a couple at him. This thing is so solid I would use it myself. These are the best bang for your buck on the market! Includes padded helmet bag and extra sweat pad.

Also great customer service on a faulty zipper on the mask bag. I’ll come back for more of these when needed and continue to tout this to other goalie parents! Really well done Warrior!.

Recieved the mask today and a few issues. 1- the mask was filthy 2- no sweat band in the mask when there should be 3- sent a youth carry bag when should have been Jr and so the mask doesn’t fit. Will take 3 days for the complaint department to get back to me with a resolution.

I would recommend other retailers that I should have stuck with.

They’re ok. I was looking for an elbow pad that wouldn’t slide up my forearm after every shot I take, and I thought the sleeve might help with that. The range of motion on these is great, hardly any restriction.

Unfortunately, the Large was too big and the sleeve felt loose, (I’m 6’4 220lbs) I couldn’t get the straps to cinch down tight enough. Even with the sleeve they still were slipping around easily when I was trying them on.

I tried the mediums just to see, and naturally they were way too small. Overall good idea, but I just don’t think it was executed well. This was the 2nd set of 3-piece elbows I tried that didn’t work for me, so I went back to a 2-piece.

Give the CCM Tacks AS1’s a try, they’re mobile and don’t budge on your arm.

Lightweight, low-profile, excellent retention. Between the friction gel stripe on the sleeve and the diagonal strap these will NOT MOVE. Protection is excellent, can take impact better than Vapors 2x Pros, and will not bulk up your jersey.

Great product and protection. Was a little worried that they would inhibit arm movement as forearm pad is definitely larger than competitors and cover my arm slightly under the bottom of my gloves. Once I wore them on the ice I didn’t notice a thing.

First time I got slashed on the forearm I knew these were a good choice.

Great helmet! I just got back into ice hockey after not playing since 1995. My old Cooper helmet was really hard inside and heavy so wanted to upgrade. I tried on many helmets and this one fit the best and price was in my budget.

I’ve been playing in it since April and love it. Fits perfect, light weight and true to size. I wear a Medium. I added a Bauer Concept clear shield and that attached very easily. Great helmet for the price.

My squirt loves it, especially that he can adjust it on the fly for custom comfort. His last helmet had a buckle on the chinstrap instead of the snap so he struggles with that but he’ll figure it out soon enough.

He paired it with a Bauer Concept III clear face shield which works well on this helmet.

The helmet is very comfortable but the adjustment mechanism can come loose and I had to reroute the wire that came loose on mine. I now check my helmet every time I put it on. Also, it didn’t come with screws for attaching the mask, so I had to take them off of my old helmet.
