The book itself is great. Such a shame I’m not enjoying it as it was obviously previously owned by a heavy smoker & should just not have been sold in this condition!

This is the book I always buy as a gift. It is thrilling, suspenseful and rewarding to the end. The film is very B grade, but the book is superb.

I enjoyed this book thoroughly. It has a terrific plot, well-thought-out characters and an exciting pace. Not a Harry Bosch book, but the main character (an ex-FBI agent)is very likeable. When I’m reading a book, I “cast” it with actors as though it were a movie (this would make a good one).

That helps me to envision the characters better. I chose Jeff Bridges for the ex-FBI guy. Does anyone else do this??? If you haven’t read BLOOD WORK yet, this is my recommendation that you do so. In my opinion (and I read a LOT), Michael Connelly is one of the best thriller writers around today.

We watched the Netflix series The American Mob and also heard Michael Francess interviewed by Eric Metaxas. We were very interested in his conversion to Christianity and getting out of his oath to La Cosa Nostra alive.

It is only slightly better than that ridiculous third Alien movie with Winona Ryder. It wasn’t scary, there was no intensity like the other movies. Poor, Poor sequel to Prometheus. How much imagination does it take to turn the Alien franchise into the Terminator? None-just more hollywood recycling of ideas.

David is now a terminator cyborg h*ll bent on destroying humans. and all other “meat” as he calls it. wow. genius, Ridley pure genius. David is now the Alien whisperer because he is their father. And what is up with Walter’s accent? What dialect is he going for exactly? It was so distracting that I contemplated turning the sound off and using the close captions.

I should have seen this at the theater so that the franchise wouldn’t get as much of a cut of my money.

You know it’s easy to pretend to be superior and hate something that’s genre fun! But I’ll tell you flat out I enjoyed Alien Covenant! I like that it was a sort of duel between the androids and that we were dealing generationally with a long running situation.

That gave me a segue into the story so I could make it mine! It was great to see some things coming and it was fun to share some surprises. Add to that likable characters, realistic setting and people who simply would not listened when you tried to warn them not to do something! – Haa! – Way Fun! Specially when watched with some of your mates! ~;0) VivaChas!.

Pros: It was entertaining, had good visuals, continued the story line, and good believable acting. Cons: The story could have been better written, and more believable. Characters made stupid decisions, that hurt the legitimacy (interrupting the flow of the movie), conflicted with the professionalism, logical course of the storyline, and it’s believability.

It could have been so much more. The writers, directors, and producers sold the movie short of its greatness! Fell short for me, left me wanting more, and a better ending. Disapointed!.

Does God use the sun,moon and stars to communicate with us, and if he does what is he trying to say? With “Four Blood Moons” the answer John Hagee gives us is a definite YES and the message he is trying to convey is loud and clear, the history of the world is about to change forever, but what is the change that is coming,and what are the signs we need to watch for? John Hagee imparts his wisdom on these subjects but he doesn’t just give his opinion he backs up his ideals with scripture! “Four Blood Moons” is written in a very relaxing, easy to understand manner, Mr.

Hagee allows the reader glimpses of his personal life while sharing his opinions about the upcoming Four Blood Moons and what they might signify for the future. I would be the first one to admit that Bible prophesy isn’t something that I have studied but John Hagee really opened my mind up to the possibilities that he shares.

Even though this book is his opinion of things to come he does a fantastic job of backing up those opinions with scripture. While the Bible cautions that no man knows the exact date when he will return he did tell us to watch for the signs of his coming and after reading “Four Blood Moons” I now better understand the signs that we all need to be watching for.

Biblical history along with eye opening details about the upcoming Four Blood Moons that will occur in 2014-2015 really makes this a must read for anyone interested in end time Bible Prophecy. A complimentary copy of this book was provided for review.

Four Blood Moons uses the information found at the NASA web site to show a very unusual sequence of 4 blood moons that are going to begin happening on the Jewish Feast Days in the years 2014 & 2015. John Hagee does not attempt to say precisely when GOD will begin to deal with the earth or the Nation of Israel but each of the three previous times this sequence has happened, those years were momentous for Israel and for Bible prophecy fulfillment.

The three previous times were around the years 1492, 1948 & 1967. The Four Blood Moons are God’s warning signs to humanity that trouble is soon coming. Unfortunately, most of us are looking down at our little problems, instead of “up” to the solution He has already provided.

Very interesting, very accurate and hopefully many will heed what appears to be God’s flashing warning sign! Before buying this book, I watched Hagee’s sermon by the same title on youtube. The sermon was so good I wanted the book.

I actually bought copys of this book for each of my grown children for Christmas. You always show love by warning folks of possible trouble dead ahead.

First, I believe in God, the Bible, and an end will come to this crazy world. John Hagee does not look in the Bible for soft subjects, but he is always telling us to pay attention to the Word of God.

The concept of the sun, moon and stars is used throughout the Bible, but I had not put it all together as he has. I like the simplicity of his writing, using many scriptures to back up his ideas. Revelations makes it clear that our Lord has used nature for His purposes and will again, this is the premise of the book.

It is interesting and he may be completely correct in his theory. The most important thought behind his writing the book, is to point out that an end is coming and we should be prepared to meet our Creator! I would recommend this book as very interesting reading, I know the Bible and can see – “SOMETHING IS ABOUT TO CHANGE”.

Review written 6/3/15 ANGEL’S BLOOD is the first installment in Nalini Singh’s exciting and dangerous Guild Hunter series. This is also a deadly world full of blood and violence that may make some readers uncomfortable.

The book is set in a world where angels and vampires roam free. Where the other worldly beings are ruled by the Cadre of Ten. Ten archangels with unimaginable powers; their beauty unmatched by any mortal and often looked up to as gods.

Yet to encounter an archangel ensures an almost certain death to cross one holds a fate far worse than death. Elena is a guild hunter a member of an age-old organization who tracks and returns vampires who’ve escaped their service contracts to their angels.

Elena is one of the best guild hunters in the world and she is really wishing she wasn’t when finding out whom has contracted her skills for the next assignment: The archangel of New York.

This book was unbelievable! The plot was engaging and entertaining. The characters are exquisitely crafted and each one vital to the storyline. I have devoured the book several times and after my umpteenth re-read I figured I should put some words to page about how awesome the story is and how much I adore the author! It was the characters that made the story for me.

They were multi-faceted and easily relatable. I love how each one is a mystery just waiting to be discovered. Elena and Raphael were magic together. The pairing seemed unbalanced because Raphael is hundreds of years old and a cruel being full of immense power and Elena a hunter born mortal who’s lived but a speck of time.

Elena is a honed blade sharp and deadly with an inner strength fierce loyalty and pure of heart. I honestly thought she was too good for Raphael. This is an awesome beginning to the series and I HIGHLY recommend ANGEL’S BLOOD to anyone who likes their paranormal romance dark dangerous and deadly.

If you’re into romantic fantasy, you’ll love this book. I read it in two days, I couldn’t put it down! And on the plus side, there’s sooo many more in this series! The story line is captivating, I found myself just wanting to know what happened next.

To the point of the “oops, it’s 1am”.

Started off slow with “I like him, I don’t like him” from the main character which got tiring. However once got past that I really enjoyed it. I loved the hunter aspect, Elena’s special powers and how she uses them.

The angel & vampire relationships was a nice spin to the age old fantasy books. Ended nicely, however left open for next book.

I love anything Nora Roberts! Especially when there are continuing characters. This trilogy did not disappoint. I have a certain fascination with Ireland as well, so it made this a must read!

As always the author has once again penned three books which make for a “can’t put you down” experience. I read each of these books in a day. I just had to read the entire book without stopping then hunger for the next in this series.

Entertaining. The search for the right spells & potions & the realising of unknown powers makes for a thoroughly enchanting book with a helping of romance made it impossible to put down.

Blood Bowl is a great game. The usual tldr is that this is Rugby in the Warhammer World, which says a lot about the setting but not much mechanically. Blood Bowl has a good balance of strategy and luck, occasionally referred to as ‘chess with dice’.

Risk mitigation plays a key roll in successful play, and players need to balance the risk/reward of each play to make the best use of the team. But onto the book itself. It’s well produced, looks very pretty.

It is a sturdy hardback with an excellent print finish. Importantly it contains all the rules at launch of Blood Bowl 2020. Of course it has ambiguities and errors as all GW books have, however there is already an FAQ and Errata available online to resolve these.

The book also has a good index which helps in the search for rulings. If you’re already a Blood Bowl player then the rulebook is all you need for the new Season. If you’re looking to get into the game it’s honestly hard to recommend this over the box set, which includes the rules as well as the pitch, dice, templates and two teams for very good value! Hence 4 stars over 5.

For the most part, it was okay to read. But once I got to the Blood Bowl 7’s I was in heaven. It held the rules for BB7s which I had been waiting for. You can buy the soft-back and receive the same information for a lower price.

Me? I just like the hardback myself. ***You will need a copy of the Full Rules to play BB7s. *** This is a hardback Rulebook. it comes in the Blood Bowl Season Two box set. Also available separately.

If you enjoy the game of Blood Bowl, you will enjoy the shortened time it takes to play Blood Bowl 7’s. The BB7s rules make this a very good buy for BB fans.

Death Zone is a fun expansion for Blood Bowl with rules like new wizards, spells, pitch types, new star players and coaches and even rules for fielding a Giant on your teams! All this as well as “flavorful additions” like the halfling hotpot, literally, make this a must have for any fans of BB wishing to and even more mayhem to games of Blood Bowl.

Anything by Billye Brim I’d highly recommend. She edited books for great saints such as Dr. Kenneth E. Hagin Sr. Dr. Lester Sumrall. Dr. Fred Price. Reverend and Mrs. J. R. Goodwin, and others. Her teachings are clear but the message & application are powerful.

I’ve been blessed by her teachings on the Blood of Jesus and how it relates to us, and our Authority as believers and how this will change your life and put the enemy under foot. Many great teachings can also be found on Youtube, which I recommend.

She’s a power house for God and her teachings are solid.

I love the book. This book will change your way of thinking about God. God is not religion, Jesus and his shared blood is the only power which will change you, but you need to have faith. God bless.

Wonderful book. Gives lots of insight on current day world events in a biblical perspective and how they were foretold by prophets of old. This book also gives guidance on how we can remain protected in these times of turmoil.

A must read for anyone that considers themselves to be an overcoming Christian in these last days.

I discovered this novel after watching the movie with my daughters both of whom are junior high age (8th grade). I was intrigued by it and as a fanatic of wolves told them we should read the book. The book is by far superior to the film.

This is not Annette Curtis Klaus’ greatest work IMO, but she truly does capture the struggles of youth and mix it well with the magic of imagination. She does find ways to blend exceptional creativity with reality.

My girls really enjoyed reading it, and if you or someone you know is mesmerized by transforming creatures then you will most likely enjoy this book. On a side note my elder daughter compared it to Twilight minus the vampires.

Which you of course can analyze any way you wish. I will say if you’re a fan of the Twilight series then this will fit perfectly in your collection. The only thing keeping this from a 5 star rating is some parts were dragged on, over elaborated, and outright boring but no book is perfect.

In the end I would definitely recommend it as a good read with teens or if you are just looking for a story that fits in the romantic thriller genre.

I love this book. Thank you for having the hard cover. I never found the hardcover before so I didn’t know I had even ordered it so what a nice surprise. I thought it was just paperback.

If you like werewolf books this is one of the best in my opinion. It came before Twilight and the modern ones and i first read it when i was 16. 28 now. You will hang on to the end fo your seat the whole way and revel in the violence, sci fi, and cry over some deaths of good characters.

And the romance aspects.

Another Beautifully Covered Book. Just received this one in the mail a few day’s ago. Haven’t read it yet. I can assure everyone this will be another fantastic book by C. J. Box. I’ve read three so far and each one was so interesting.

I felt like I was on the ride, with the game warden, on the edge of my recliner. Now that’s a good book. Thank’s.

CJ Box is a great writer. He has twenty-plus books out and they just grab you. Very easy reading, short chapters and he has a way with words. You will learn things that you didn’t know by reading CJ Box.

I bought all the CJ Box books for my wife because she burns through every one of them in two or three days. You start reading at 10pm and before you know it, it’s midnight!!!.

The storyline is wonderful but the place where the mysteries unfold is intriguing. Those of us on the East Coast love to read about Wyoming.

Very entertaining, Anne Rice’s last of the Vampire Chronicles. Book arrived with a clearance sticker so I asked for a refund to get the correct price, got back about $20! Mischarged!

Love Anne Rice and Lestat! One of the great characters of our time. Never want the story to end!!

I absolutely love this novel and am so glad Anne Rice’s Vampire Chronicles are still going VERY strong!

I was extremely skeptical of this product, but for four bucks, I decided to take a chance. I was very pleased with the results. My halloween costume was very gory, so I needed something realistic, and I was blown away.

I used a dropper to apply it and make it look like it dripped down my face. I even had it in my hair, and all over my hand. It washed out very well, with a bit of scrubbing, after several hours of wear.

I wish I could include a picture, it was amazing!.

This product is exactly as described. Looks like real blood. In certain wounds it can be a little thin/light but to fix that just break apart a cotton ball and submerge it in the blood and put it in the “wound” and you will have deeper lasting color and also texture.

It does great though and it last forever, ive done like 5 makeups and am only an inch down the bottle.

The goblin blood bowl team is cool, but it really should come with either trolls or secret weapons. A goblin team without those things is unplayable. However, the miniatures themselves are pretty fun, and if you are looking to pick up extra goblins, I would recommend.

I received the box of Goblins the other day. Painted them up, and am just waiting for a chance to use them now

The very exciting 2nd expansion to an already amazing game. World of Warcraft. The Lich King Arthas awaits your presence. Fight your way through the frozen tundra of Northrend and level in excitement with all new armor, weapons and mounts to collect.

My personal favorite expansion to date!.

As with the first expansion, The Burning Crusade, Blizzard has retooled and streamlined the different character classes, though this time around the changes are significantly more sweeping and dynamic than they had been in Crusade.

It isn’t just the classes that are seeing changes, though: Blizzard has taken up the chisel to overhaul the game’s core mechanics, and the game is better off for it. The meat of WotLK is the brand-new continent of Northrend, where the eponymous Lich King, Arthas, set up his headquarters after the end of Warcraft III: The Frozen Throne.

Northrend’s various locales provide hunting grounds for adventurers of level 70 and above, eventually leading players directly to Arthas’ proverbial doorstep. It cannot be stressed enough – Northrend is absolutely beautiful.

Sure, the WoW engine has never been exactly top-of-the-line, but Blizzard keeps pushing its own envelope, and compensates for lackluster technical specs with absolutely fantastic art direction. From the towering cliffs of Howling Fjord to the luminescent foliage of Crystalsong Forest, WotLK looks great (and is a welcome change from the bleak, war-scarred landscapes of Outland).

Lich King takes everything that Blizzard has already done in WoW and makes it better. While there are still the standard “Kill X enemies, gather Y items” quests, there’s more variety and higher quality than ever, and many of the quests tie in to the storyline in a way that players rarely saw in Burning Crusade.

Blizzard has also pushed its own bar higher with the new dungeons – enemy encounters are more creative, engaging, and just plain fun than ever before. While WotLK makes the core WoW experience better, it does bring some new features beyond the continent of Northrend – the most prominent of which is the addition of the game’s first new class since its launch in 2004, the Death Knight.

Death Knights start at level 55, though players will have to already have a character at least at level 55 on any given server in order to create one. The Death Knight is a great addition to the game’s roster, and their class mechanics – focused on constantly regenerating magical Runes and afflicting their foes with diseases – are pretty unique, and most importantly, very dynamic and fun.

Blizzard deserves special credit for the Death Knight starting area and accompanying storyline, which is worth starting a new Death Knight just for the experience; it’s arguably the best three or four hours anywhere in World of Warcraft.

So after all that its a very great game may still lack in some area’s but still very good very recomended :).

Let me start by saying; This expansion is much better than “Burning Crusade”, for anyone wondering. This is an additional expansion module for the original game, “World of Warcraft” or “WoW”. The entire game is a great value for the money, even with the modest $15/mo fee to play online, which is necessary to play the game.

The original game, and “Burning Crusade” are also required. So, unless you have those already, I suggest starting with the original World of Warcraft game, then adding the expansions. You will get months of play time before these are necessary to continue.

I would not personally recommend “WoW” for anyone under age. The game does have some moral merit, although many of those concepts are actually a little complicated for a child to comprehend and it is too easy for an unsupervised child to take the wrong course of action without consequence.

It also contains violence, and interaction with other players that provide a host of bad examples for children. The other problem with it for young children is that it takes a tremendous amount of time to accomplish anything, and will interfere with their responsibilities, such as homework and chores.

On the other hand, I highly recommend this game for anyone between the ages of 18 and 100. My mother plays at the age of 83. She has been playing for over 5 years now and loves it! It provides her with hours of entertainment without leaving the comfort of her desk chair.

This includes social interaction, since the game is played via online connection to thousands of other players. These are my personal opinions of the game and do not reflect the intent of the makers, nor are they designed to interfere with sales.

I enjoy the game myself and endorse it for what I consider the proper age groups. Buy it, dive in, and enjoy! It’s a lot of fun and well worth the money considering the months and years of play you will get for it!.

I have just recently read all three books in the trilogy by these authors and I wish there were more. If you like books that are linked to Biblical history, but are definitely fiction, then these are books to read, the authors do a good job of weaving supernatural creatures in with biblical context.

You root for the main characters to succeed throughout the series.

I have never been especially taken with vampire novels however I am a fan of the adventure novels that James Rollins is so well known for. That being said I decided to give it a go. I was immediately taken and anxiously awaited each of the subsequent novels releases.

Blood Infernal did not disappoint. From start to finish I could hardly set the book down. The conclusion was equally interesting and unexpected. In leu of elaborating on the plot and its specifics I suggest picking up the first book.

James Rollins & Rebecca Cantrell are great together.. Lots of action, ancient & gothic history, very fun to read. A definite ” need to read ” set of 3 books.

Fly tying material quality is a matter of opinion and personal skill, I love the stuff and it doesnt bleed color. The fish dont seem to have any complaints either.

Feathers are great quality and what I needed , plenty of length both sides of the quill and should make excellent cod flies. couldn’t be happier with the quality of the feathers.

With marabou feathers it’s hard to get a distributor to be consistent with quality and that’s the key thing.
