Best Covenant For Arms Warrior (2024 Updated)

I have worked in a lacrosse retail store for the last 8 years and have been able to try on gear as it is released. I only wear arm guards as I am an attack man and haven’t worn any arm guard other than the k18 guards (D30 technology is simply the best).

These arm guards are the best in combining comfort &. mobility with protection. Been using them for a while and still look almost new. I take care of my gear (placing in my gear bag and bringing inside everyday) so that my gear doesn’t rip or lose functionality.

I rate these a solid 10/10 especially with the BOA fit. You’re starting to see that used in more equipment all the time from sports, shoes, and even medical equipment such as hard braces.

These pads are excellent for any Middy/Attack player. They provide outstanding protection from the repeated beating defensive players execute on offensive players.

Needed new arm guards with a more protection, especially up higher on the arms and the Evo”s delivered on the need. Good mobility and comfortable, not too hot for larger padding. Little hard getting off after a hard practice/game but rather have the protection and comfort when wearing them.

This is the 3rd or 4th Warp I have attempted to use. As a youth coach and HS coach I can tell you that the Warps are awesome for new players. Consistency is unmatched. As a long time player, I loved what warp might be able to provide for that same consistency, but struggled with the lack of hold, or having to feel like I was compensating for lack of hold at certain arm angles.

Or that I had to adjust for how the ball might hit my pocket on a tough catch leading to a shot or quick pass. Or a tough gb that required m to quickly snap the stick up to my head for protection before a pass was to be made.

Just could not get it to “feel” the same as a head with a good mesh pocket that throws the way I want (currently using an Evo 5 that is strung by a friend who has earned the nickname- stick whisperer.

That said, PROBLEMS SOLVED with Burn Warp Pro 2. Using the Whip 1 set up. Right out of the gate the pocket has tremendous hold at any angle. The combination of the new materials that they are using on the pocket and the shape of the pocket, in conjunction with a tight face of the head itself, and wham- you have an amazing stick for kids at any level of play, and certainly all the way through college or club guys.

Anyone can use this stick and be pleased with the results -well maybe not fogos, but that is not the audience for this stick. Passes are very consistent. Shooting is also consistent. And I’m no longer limited by having to compensate for the ball having to end up in a certain spot of the pocket before I just rip it.

Previously only the Fatboy Warp was similar in results. but the narrow head isn’t legal for play at all levels. And even then. some compensation had to be made IMO. Only reason it’s not a 5 star review: Originally, I ordered a Whip 2 as I learned that Whip 1 was just to early a release for this guy when rearing back to rip it.

I had to compensate. Whip 2 was good enough and still came out hot and high when feeding etc. However, I found that this version of materials, Whip 2 (at least for what was delivered on my first order) was waaaaay whipier than anything Id ever used from Warp before.

Replacement of a Whip 1 solved that. In fact, Id say that Whip 1 on this model is more like Whip 2 on other models. but the results are in fact; awesome. Great job by the folks at Warrior on this one.

The Burn Warp Pro 2 is as close to other mesh products, but with the consistency you want, the hold you want, and what seem like additional speed of shot. then any of its predecessors.

Lots of people told me to stay away from the WARP however with no reviews or anything on the WARP 2 I figured I had to give it a try. I was tired of the inconsistency depending on my release point and from stick to stick on my many normal mesh strung heads.

This head is the most consistent head I”ve owned which was what I was looking for. The live chat support helped me with my decision and knew all of the warranty info and all sorts of facts varying between a very diverse selection of heads.

BTW, most if not all problems with the WARP Pro were fixed, I was lucky enough to compare my WARP 2 to a teammates WARP Pro and based off all of the Youtube videos stating issues with the head and how it through.

Material is very durable (both head and mesh) so you don”t have to worry about it breaking. There is a 60 day manufacturer warranty as well as SportStops”. It also only took me about 2 maybe 3 days to fully get used to the WARP, the extra day (from 2 to 3) being the sidearm shot as it is different when compared to mesh sticks since mesh strung heads have a tendency to have more whip shooting sidearm (compared to overhand or underhand) vs the WARP where it has the same maybe a little less on sidearm shots.

If you have the problem of the ball coming out on sidearm because your used to the whip of a mesh head on a sidearm shot then I would recommend pushing a little more with your top hand to create the power as this worked for me.

I personally got the Whip 3 as I like a fair amount of whip on my shots. Whip 3 honestly is nothing too crazy and even if its too much for you there is always the 15day satisfaction guarantee where you can switch it out for a Whip 2.

I bought this head when it came out and it did not perform as advertised (flex points, shape retention, etc). I contacted Warrior and they basically told me to stuff it in my hat and implied I was using it wrong.

My 11 year old found it in the garage last night and after one evening of him playing around with it, it is warped beyond use. Can’t even scoop a ball And he is face off Middie and knows how to play.

Terrible shape, terrible plastic. Sorry I’m not sorry.

I’m a big fan of the new line of Primaris marines, having been a space marine fan since that first box of metal marines pre RTB-01. The detail, new body proportions and poses available* for the Hellblasters are all very good.

The figures when assembled look excellent and with a little bit of knife and glue work, you can even coax a few more poses out of the set than are advertised on the box – all good things. My only complaint on this set comes from something that I’ve noticed with all the primaris boxes, but which is more pronounced with the Hellblasters – each body is only fully compatible with one pair of legs, and those legs are only able to be positioned in one way.

There is some flexibility with the arms, but, even just comparing the hellblasters to the assault intercesors for example, the beautiful backpack power conduit of the Hellblasters hems in your choice of arm position quite a bit.

This can be mitigated to some extent with your hobby knife and creativity, but, as it is a big departure from prior space marine sets, it’s worth noting – when you buy the hellblasters, you should expect to get Exactly what’s on box art.

Final note is that the muzzle of each plasma gun is its own 2-part component, and each requires a bit of file or knife work to fit snug against the rest of the gun – this seems like an odd design choice, and in spite of my attention, one of my hellblasters ended up curing with a slightly off-alignment gun.

I play the Horus Heresy but I purchased these models to start a primaris army for the main game. Models came very quickly and soundly. Though I didn’t exchange words with the seller the models were in the original box and was exactly what I purchased.

I couldn’t be more happier. Will buy again sometime in the future. On a side note, NOT the seller’s fault, the modes require a little bit of “strength” to push into the slots and a little cleaning up due to the mold lines.

I highly recommend these models as a starting point to any new player to Warhammer 40,000 to get your color scheme tried and see if it works for you.

I really like these sculpts, they are very detailed. They look great made up and ready for the battlefield. Only downfall is the lack of customising body positions. This does make it challenging when converting but I enjoyed this challenge,.

Excellent value for the prospective Lumineth player! You get a solid mix of Battleline and Combat Characters. Gorgeous sculpts and a great rulebook. To me, the Lumineth feel like an army that is half baked.

There are few un-named characters, a small assortment of kits. However, you have a great army book with some excellent combos that are very fluffy for Elves.

Fantastic Set, be prepared to take your time though. Plenty of mold lines to remove on the cavalry and intricate designs! Dynamic posing is amazing, level of detail!

A good starting set for Lumineth Realm Lords, a very nice collectors version of the Battletome included too!

Fit is great and son feels protected. Can’t ask for more, but wait, price. AMAZING

Got these for my 9-yr old son as he plays middie and attack and needed additional arm protection now that he is playing against some 10-yr-olds and practicing at times against kids as old as 11 and these are light-years better than what came with his starter package.

As full guards, they extend further up and down the arm from the elbow. The elbow has a hard internal cap for added protection. Despite the added size, the pad is very flexible around your arms and is also broken into 3 sections to not interfere with arm mobility.

The strap system is excellent because it has 3 ‘passive’ straps that are perforated and very comfortable on the skin as well as adjustable velcro straps at the top and bottom of the pad. The inner straps increase comfort and ensure the pad is in place and the outer straps let you dial in the fit.

Additionally, the liner has rubberized graphics to further prevent the pads from slipping down. After a fall and spring season and year-round club lacrosse, my son has not taken a shot to the arms that has hurt him.

So, I”d say these guards did their job!.

Excellent coverage and flexibility with solid coverage around the elbow. And they are comfortable. A little tougher to get on when sweaty but they stay in place well without binding, pinching or digging into the skin.

The only thing I would have liked better is to have a little higher coverage on the upper arm, but they offer better coverage than most arm pads. Overall this is a great value for a very nice set of arm pads.

The elbow cup flairs out wider than the elbow, which wouldn’t be an issue if that didn’t cause the elbow cup to rip the stitches off the sleeve and eventually separate entirely. Would not recommend these.

I regret my purchase.

I wish I had spent a bit more for another swinging item. I plan to buy a regular swing to put on it. It works perfectly and the kids love it. Everything is durable and strong. It comes with extra loops.

It wasn’t hard to put up just a bit of tree climbing. Actually we used a ladder.

Easy to assemble. Had to be higher that we thought originally for the rope and ladder to work. We have just ordered a swing to hand on it as well. So much less expensive than the bigger stand-alone pieces and will probably entertain the kids as well for a fraction of the cost.

Our kids 9 and 5 love the ninja warrior set. Their friends love coming over to play on it as well. It was super easy to construct- 20 min. I like that it can be taken down if needed and reconfigured to make the course easier or more difficult or to move it altogether if needed.

The colors look cool and they match a rock climbing set that is wrapped around one of the anchor trees. Highly recommend.

A fair enough kit to build. Some of the parts were a bit soft to handle and also a bit light weight. I would probably build more of Academy kits if I could not find what I want from Tamiya, Thanks, R.

Couldn’t be happier with these elbow pads. They fit great and the protection I’m looking for. I highly recommend them for any intermediate to advance midfielder or defender.

bought for my 13 year old 14UAA daughter. If anyone has a daughter that plays goalie at the 14u or higher, you know its very difficult to find a chest protector that has “room”. we started with a older model Warrior chest protector when she was 12U.

it started to wear out and she hated the bottom area near the belly as it flares out. 6months ago, we decided to get a vaughn velocity v9. the vaughn was protective but too bulky and limited mobility.

today, we went looking for another chest protector and decided to go the warrior x3 E. lightweight, high mobility, so far good proctection and the bottom of the belly area does not flare out anymore.

the only complaint she has is that the arms are a little long even with adjustment but the chest has room for her. wish we could swap out a Large/XL chest for a M/L arms. Peter, the sales associate, was very helpful in the Anaheim, CA.

I’ve only used it a few times, but I couldn’t be happier with it. It’s extremely light and very flexible. The elbows feel nice even though it’s not broken in yet. Love how adjustable everything is. Was able to perfectly setup the shoulders and back to get a comfortable fit.

This chest is made to tuck and does so very well. Comes with removable extensions if you wanna take them off, but it fits really well under the pants with them on. The shoulder straps sit low enough that it doesn’t interfere with your helmet much at all.

Which was a deal breaker on a few others I’ve tried. Despite how light it is, it also feels really protective. I took a few big clappers to the ribs and chest and you barely feel it at all. 10/10 would recommend.

My 10 year old son is kind of a runt and I’ve been on the search for a stick that would help with his shot and didn’t cost a fortune. I was looking for a stick strong enough and with enough flex for the 65 pound kid to flex and get that extra snap.

I FOUND IT IN THIS STICK!!! He ended up breaking it at the end of the season but he beat the crap out of it. (2nd yr SQUIRT) He absolutely loved it and when I asked what he wanted to do and he said “Get the same one! It improved his shot without a doubt.

It has a slim shaft and a nice curve with a pretty sweet paint job. Its a sharp stick, I ended up buying 3 because he liked it so much! and 3 for the price of 1in a different brand was a no brainer. I definitely recommend this stick for smaller kids who are looking for a light stick that helps improve there shot!.

My 15 year old broke 2 senior QR Edges within 10 ice times. The first one was replaced and then the replacement broke all well within a month. I reached out to Warrior as I had always known that Warrior sticks were a bit more fragile, but never that fragile, so I figured it must have been a bad batch.

They took forever to get back to me and simply responded that you only get one replacement. Personally, my family is done with Warrior as we have bought a lot of their lacrosse and hockey products over the years and the quality continues to decrease, this was just the last straw.

Btw I was very glad I had purchased this stick through PHL as the store gave me a discount on a new CCM Jetspeed Team stick, which my son is still using!.

This purchase represents the most money I have collectively assigned to my hockey stick. I have always bought used pro-stock gear online and it was often a crapshoot about the curve, condition, and feel of the stick.

This stick has served me well in my adult beer league endeavors, thus far. Several goals – very quick stick handling. There is a light but sturdy feeling of agility and creativity that flows when I use it.

5 stars for sure. Would buy another and would definitely go back to Pure hockey.
