Amazingly, this is just a laminate. Only when looking very closely can you tell by the wood coloured edging, which is unfortunate but for the price absolutely worth it. Also, note that a laminate top is a bit lighter than a solid wood one, so I could just barely lift it myself instead of needing help (while it looked like a breeze for the hefty shipping crew who only needed the one guy).

Great countertop for a great price. I installed their temporarily while waiting for my kitchen to be done and the countertops to go in and was actually impressed with the quality. Some of my guests actually thought it was marble before touching it.
It’s nice looking for a laminate countertop. My only issue is that with heavy use it can get some knicks in the laminate. It’s not that thick. But for the price it is worth it.
We used this counter top for a laundry room redo. I like that it’s so thick and sturdy compared to the thin ones everyone else sells. And cheaper, even counting the shipping to my local depot. Just don’t drop it on its corner! Come with two pieces of edge banding though.
