Best Counters For Ho Oh (2025 Updated)

This desk looks wonderful at the front of the business. The presentation is good, and the privacy counter is very helpful. You can’t expect much for the price, but there is no drawers or cabinets with this desk.

Just keep that in mind if you purchase. We are very satisfied with the value of this desk.

Nice styling and good quality. Price was excellent compared to other vendors I researched. It is heavy. Trucker had hard time delivering it and broke my dolly, but it was worth it. Assembly was easy and I did it myself.

When searching for a sleek countertop power outlet nothing seemed to compare with this pop up model. Great choice of finishes and easy to install. A solid built unit that also looks good. Very happy with the choice despite the high cost but will pay when the quality is matching.

These are great we had a brick wall so we wanted to come up through the cabinets. This worked great. We also put the on a buffet. It was great for serving with crockpots and when not in use it saves on counter space and has a clean sleek look.

This machine looks pretty fancy in any setting and of course, does its job of counting money pretty well. Yes, there are other machines that are much cheaper, but I think it’s better to buy a premium quality product one time which will last for a very long time, rather than being obligated to change your product from time to time.

Because of its durability, the built-in features that other machines don’t offer, and the quality of this product, to me, Kolibri Signature is the best bill counter out there.

We own several laundry mats and we deal with a lot of cash. We spend a lot of time hand sorting and counting. We have several bill counters but this one really does everything we need to. I really like this unit and recommend it to anyone who deals with a lot of cash.

Looks beautiful on my granite countertop, I only gave it 4 stars instead of 5 because I thought it would be more heavy duty than it is.

I love the farmhouse look. It adds character to my kitchen!

Our kitchen was a bit dark, I put this on the counter and it adds a little bit of light and class.

It is very easy to use. I keep it at my side or on my lap depending on size of work so it’s right there at the end of the row. Although it is larger than most row counters I find the helps to remind me that I need to use it.

The tally is clear and easy to reset and it works by a simple press of the top bar. It is a Clover product and therefore not cheap but will last unlike some other products on the market. When a pattern is complicated row counters come into there own and this certainly does because it is LARGER it reminds you to use it so that you’re not always having to double check you’re on the right row.

This is my second one because my first is still in use with another long term project and I kept forgetting to move the smaller row counters on.

It’s very handy to keep track of my pattern. It gives a satisfying click to mark the next row. You can reset the counter by turning the two knobs on the side. Just be mindful that you don’t bump the knobs if you need to store it somewhere in the middle of a project.

This handy little counter just works. Helps keep track of rows when loom or needle knitting. Fits perfectly in my hand and counts with every click up to 99. The only thing that would make it better would be a cord to wear it around my neck so there’s less clutter on my side table and for knitting on the road.

This is a really great fridge. We love the door in door feature, and use it for eggs, milk, butter, and juice—those items we get from fridge most often. I presume that saves energy, although I have no way of measuring how much.

The glass door, with light on tapping, is a bit of a gimmick, even though it does work well. Once you know what you keep in there, you do not really need to look through the glass to find out, and besides being an expensive option, it takes up space that could be used for family photos, notepads, etc.

The craft (big round ball) ice is great, as we do not like a bunch of small pieces of ice floating around in our drinks. It is a bit slow to replenish, but we do not use much ice anyway. If you needed a lot of ice on an ongoing basis, the craft ice alone would not cover you, but you always have the regular in door ice maker for small cubed or crushed ice.

We use the middle drawer for cheese and cured meats, and it is nice to keep them separate. It is reassuring to know we could use it as additional freezer space if we needed it for some reason. My only complaint is that the ice makers—both of them—sometimes just stop making ice.

On the indoor regular ice maker, it is usually because we have not replaced it exactly it its mount, but it is a little hard to see that it is fully set in there. The craft ice has just stopped a couple of times, and I had to have customer service walk me through the reset procedure.

That seems to be a bug to me, because if I can just make it work again by pressing a button (which is tough to get to), why should it stop in the first place. The fridge is smart enough that it ought to be able to detect a condition and reset itself, or report to you that there is a problem that needs your attention.

LG customer service so far has been great. You can call them and they will walk you through diagnosis procedures, and call out the service technicians if it needs repairs.

We got the fridge just before Thanksgiving and it has been full of mostly nice surprises. We didn’t expect to particularly care about the door-in-door feature but it turns out to be really handy. We also didn’t expect the huge difference is makes to be able to open both doors and slide sheet pans in there – between Thanksgiving and Christmas that has been incredibly helpful.

One of the reasons we got it was to use the middle drawer as the produce drawer because we never have enough produce space. On a scale of 1-10 this has been a 15! Finally room for everything and you can find everything and the little dividers slide easily and naturally so if something big goes in it just sort of adjusts itself.

The only downside is that not using it as a freezer means that the freezer space is super limited, which would be a deal-breaker if we didn’t have a used fridge/freezer in the house also to be a second freezer.

We knew that the freezer space would be limited but with the addition of some lexan organizers, it becomes much better and doubles the space in the pullout drawer in the top of the freezer section (Seseno SKB106 if you care to get your own).

We also had to get some Lexan’s from Marshall’s to make the bottom freezer section workable. Bad surprises: The top pullout drawer in the freezer always kind of pulls out so you never get an unobstructed access to the bottom and the craft ice balls come out at a rate of 6 per day if you put it on “fast”, otherwise just 3 a day.

Since the upper ice maker will hold enough ice for about 2 glasses, the second fridge chucking out ice is all that got us through guests at the holidays. The obvious other solution is a couple of ice trays but there goes more freezer space.

I had an LG french door fridge that had issues with the freezer door staying closed prior to purchasing this new model. Keeping our fingers crossed, we don’t have any issues with all of its electronics and features.

Although the tap on glass light up feature is fun, it definitely wasn’t a mandatory. I noticed space is very limited in the fridge, especially for condiments (ketchup, hot sauces, dressings, etc) due to the ice/water dispenser on the left side.

You can only fit tall items on the right side of the door and/or one of the glass shelves has a half slide back option to allow a little bit of room on the main shelf. Middle shelf for deli meats/cheeses/etc is a nice touch, especially since you can adjust the temp depending on what you want to put in there.

The craft ice feature is a bit slow to produce but the ice is great for cocktails. This feature also takes up a good amount of space in the freezer. Pros: Its a beautiful fridge, the quick access door on the right has been super convenient for accessing the day to day items.

The fridge has been doing what its supposed to be doing; keeping food/drinks cold, dispensing water and ice. Cons: Its noisy and I can hear some sort of vibration/low rattling. I’ve moved around items in the fridge and it seems to eliminate some of the noise, but I didn’t expect to be able to hear it running.

Also, I noticed a tiny bit of frost build up in the freezer. Hoping this doesn’t become an issue over time since this is what killed our last LG fridge.

The pros of this fridge: more affordable and attractive and stylish than any of it’s competition, for this size. Unfortunately. The cons of this fridge are basically everything else. In short, it stopped working completely 2 weeks after delivery.

Once, about a week in, I noticed that everything in the freezer defrosted. I assumed maybe I didn’t close the door all the way, and thought I’d give it another chance. Then the day before yesterday (13 days after delivery), the internal electronic thermometer said “37” and “0” which is what I set it on, but everything inside the fridge was warm.

One night later, things inside the fridge started spoiling, and the thermometer now was flashing “37. ” Freezer still said “0. ” Then a few hours later, the thermometer for the fridge actually said “49” and would not let me reset it to “37.

” While the thermometer for the freezer still said “0” everything inside was in fact melted. The rear panel of the fridge was very warm to the touch, I resigned to throwing everything out, and unplugged it, in case it was planning on getting even more broken.

A special “0” rating goes to Best Buy. They actually have this fridge in stock in their warehouse, which is 1. 5 hours away from my house. But they claim that they are unable to deliver it until 8 days from now, which is when they would deliver it if I had bought a new fridge today.

So basically they’re claiming that they’re unable to make any sort of accommodation due to the fact that they sold me a defective fridge. They are however really sorry that I will need to live with no fridge for 8 days.

I LOVE this fridge! I wanted to get a French door fridge, but my condo has a small space for the fridge. My space is right beside a wall on one side and a counter on the other. So, it is the exact width of a “standard” opening at 36 inches.

So, all of the French door refrigerators I saw were 36 inches, except this one. I actually bought an Insignia Fridge that was just a smidge under 36 inches first, but the door by the wall( which I expected to only open to be flush with the wall and not have the full range of motion, as was the case with my old regular fridge) rubbed the wall and was scuffing it up.

So, all that to say that this Samsung fridge is PERFECT! I have plenty of room to open the doors, though the one on the wall side can open a little less than the opposite door. But, there are a few inches between the wall and the fridge, so it’s a much nicer fit.

I don’t use the ice maker in the freezer and, instead, use that space for food. But, I feel like it’s a good-sized freezer. I like having two sections to it. I am short at about 5 foot 2. So, I like having everything I need most often the top section of the freezer and I don’t have to dig around for it like I did in my old top freezer fridge.

Everything is just at a good level. I’m not bending down to get into the fridge. The fridge does have a lot of space. But, the picture on here with a cake on a stand in the fridge is clearly photoshopped.

Unless that’s a miniature cake on a miniature stand, it’s photoshopped. No way that would fit, even if you adjust a shelf. But, I have plenty of space. If you do have a lot of tall items, plan to use the door bins for them.

So, obviously, you can’t have a lot of tall items. Milk jugs only fit on the doors, unless you want to lay them down. The produce drawers are deeper than I would have expected. I fit a 3-pound bag of apples, some grapefruit, and a bag of grapes in one drawer and still had a lot of room.

So, plenty of room for produce. The stainless steel finish is truly fingerprint-resistant. It’s quiet. It’s just great. I LOVE this fridge.

So like almost everyone else here. You look at the Impact counter weights vs the Manfrotto ones due to the price difference. Its a weight, its actual practical function won’t differ. So which should you get? So is it as good as a Manfrotto? No it’s not, The Manfrotto’s mounting mechanism is faster, and easier to use with just the handle, but is it as good as you need it for your purposes? That depends.

It’s fine for mine. I bought 5 of these, and thinking of buying more. They are more compact than sandbags, and easier to store. The clamp has 4 hex screws, and the tightening handle. To get full gripping force, you need to use both, though you can mount with only the screws first than tighten the handle later.

By leaving the screws slightly loose, you can move it around your C-Stand / Boom fine. It has a plastic inner protection to not scratch your equipment too much. So what’s the difference between this and a Manfrotto or better quality weight? The amount of actions you need to take before mounting.

I know alot of reviews said these work fine for permanent, it is true, they aren’t the easiest to move around after placing, however it is doable, and its just a matter of a minute of two more of loosening the screws and re-tightening them.

And has 4 more points of failure than the Manfrotto. (4 screws with time that can strip) So my workflow is remove the handle completely, loosen the screws as much as possible without them falling. Position and move them around the C-Stand or Stand legs.

Lock the screws in X pattern, Top left first, then bottom right, etc. Then get the handle and fully lock the weight into place with the handle. Works fine. If you are on a shoot, and need to move the weights constantly, especially more than once.

These won’t work as well. But if you need to place it and possibly move it once or twice, its fine. By MSRP; and if you need to move them, get the Manfrotto. But on Sale, where it costs less than 2/3s the competition.

These by far are the best choice, and the yellow coloring is very nice and safe. I would argue the best is to have these are the main weights, and get a few Manfrottos for the times you need to move them in a shoot.

I. E if your changing Softboxes and one needs 1 weight, whereas your big Octo may need 2. Keep one Impact always mounted, and add or remove the Manfrotto or equivalent as needed. For every 3 impacts you earned yourself another weight vs if you bought the Manfrottos.

Overall I am happy with the weights and they serve my needs. Changing and repositioning will take between 1 to 2 minutes.

A light/flag/object attached to a boom arm, mounted on a light stand/c-stand or even a fixed object, will offer increased weight as the boom arm is extended. In physics this is known as torque or the rotational equivalent of linear force.

A children’s teeter totter is a classic example. The Impact 10lb Counter Weight is the product to use to make the boom arm balanced. It fits boom arm diameters from about 0. 5 – 1 inch (14-27mm). It fits the standard C-stand boom arm.

Exact diameter figures are difficult to determine because the product has four small screws that change the diameter opening where the boom arm is locked into place. There is rubber padding to grip and protect the boom arm.

The large plastic handle is used for tightening the weight to the boom arm. Yellow paint is used for safety awareness so a person notices it while working on set. The weight is all magnetic metal. Danger exists if the weight came loose while mounted.

Therefore use caution so mistakes are not made. I recommend this product, and give it a grade A (using the U. S. school grade A-F system). It will last a lifetime. Just don’t drop it on your foot, and when mounting on a boom arm double check the attachment for security and safety.

Perhaps, I should have paid more attention to the reviews that are critical of the clamp mechanism that holds the counterweight to the light stand, however I thought that it really couldn’t be that bad.

I guess I was wrong. Pros: For permanent installation on c-stands used in the studio, the counter weight should work fine. Cons: In order to install or remove the counter weight, one must remove or substantially loosen the screw clamp readily visible in the product pictures, plus one must loosen 4 small screws with an Allen wrench.

It’s not convenient nor practical for use on-location, nor where your counterweight needs may vary during a shoot. I was tired of lugging sandbags around when shooting outside of the studio, and hoping for a cleaner solution.

Unfortunately, Impact’s counter weights aren’t the answer.

I bought this microwave in April 2022 for close to $1000. I had the microwave professionally installed, including cutting a hole in the side of my house to exhaust outside. Does it exhaust outside, yes.

Does it also blow exhaust air inside at the same time, yes. If you cook something with any sort of smoke or smell it fills the entire kitchen in seconds. Smoke alarms going off etc. I have had service out 3 times for this issue.

The service providers have all agreed that the microwave is installed correctly, is exhausting into the kitchen and it shouldn’t be. However, that is the way it is designed so there is nothing they can do.

Kitchenaid is claiming that the air blowing into the kitchen is from a cooling fan and not exhaust air and functioning as designed (I’m not sure how they have determined that when the technicians are telling them otherwise).

I spoke with their highest level of support and was told they aren’t going to do anything to help me on this. It’s very clear they do not care about their customers and will do every single thing possible to give you the run-around.

So long story short, I spent close to $1500 to have a microwave exhaust outside that doesn’t. If you want to buy this microwave as an exhaust hood DON’T. Last thing, those who say this thing is quiet, it’s not.

Even on low you can’t have a conversation without raising your voice.

After a month of use, I’m generally happy with this unit. The smaller size is a big advantage, and it looks great. The range hood fan vents well, and the underside lights are adequate. The unit seems quieter than my previous microwave.

The power rating is a little lower, but I have not noticed this to be any kind of problem. There are a few things that I find annoying: first, it has a powered release latch to open the door that operates slower than I’d like, and makes it a two-step process.

Second, the brushed chrome covering tends to show finger prints and requires cleaning often (I also have a KA dishwasher and Induction range that share this problem). Third: With the controls hidden behind the door, it’s necessary to use the electronic open button even more, adding to the frustrations above, and I worry about that part failing over the longer term.

I hadn’t considered that being several inches slimmer than my old microwave meant that the turntable would be that much higher, and it’s a bit harder to use at the extra height, especially with a bowl of liquid.

Oh, you can’t type in 60 seconds; you need to type in 1:00, which is just silly. When you put in 60 seconds and press start, the display changes to one minute, but it doesn’t start – you’ll need to press start a second time to make it go!.

We recently bought this microwave for our kitchen remodel. My wife did not want another full height microwave over the cook top, so this was a good option and it matches the Black Stainless color of our KitchenAid wall oven.

We like its clean, sleek appearance. As to cooking performance, it takes a bit longer to cook frozen entrees than indicated on their packages. It will get the job done, but it might take an extra minute or two.

There are some issues with its functionality that could be improved. First, unlike any microwave I’ve used before, the control panel input buttons, which are located inside the door are very slow to respond to the touch.

I keep trying to input a cooking time, but the buttons just won’t respond quickly. So, you have to slowly input your cook time. There is a problem with the labeling on the buttons on the front of the unit.

Apparently, the labels, such as “START”, are merely made of some sort of white paint. And after only three months of use, the START label has already worn off the button. Surely, for a $1000 microwave, a more permanent labeling could have been devised.

Lastly, the lights on the bottom that shine down onto the cook top are not very bright.

This is a very well-designed refrigerator, with just one exception. I love the size and layout. The doors can hold a ton of products, including a full gallon jug of milk as well as tall wine bottles in the rare event you have leftover wine.

There are separate bins for fruit, vegetables, and meat/cheese which makes finding things a breeze. The freezer also has good drawers for those miscellaneous items that seem to otherwise get lost in the back.

I do wish it had a vertical space for pizza, but they fit flat on the shelves (with other stuff piled on top of them). The drawback to an otherwise near-perfect appliance is the ice-maker. It is very high – and even though I happen to be tall, it’s awkward to scoop ice out.

The door is narrow and the bin is deep, which is a tough combination to use on a daily basis. And the back isn’t closed, so ice can fly out the back and down to other parts of the freezer. I knocked a whole star off due to that.

In Texas we need easy access to ice and this part is disappointing, but not a deal killer. The other features overall are great.

I replaced my previous 21 year old 42″ Monogram refrigerator/freezer with a new Monogram a few months ago. The old Monogram provided excellent service for a long, long time with almost zero repair visits.

The new machine seems great so far. It really does look great outside and inside, but it seems a tiny bit smaller inside than the old version, but not by much. It makes a soft but perceptible high-pitched whining noise inside at times, and I’m not sure why.

The biggest problem is the Monogram ice bin. It must have been designed for the other Monogram model with the ice/water dispenser in the door. The bin is very inconvenient for reaching your hand in to grab some ice cubes.

If you are not tall (I am 6’2″), it might be very difficult to reach up to the height of the bin. If you have large hands, it might be difficult to reach in to the bin to remove the ice cubes by hand.

I removed some parts of the plastic fascia on the front of the ice bin with a screw driver, and that makes it much easier to access the ice cubes in the bin. I saved the old plastic ice bin from the previous machine, and I still use that nice large bin to keep readily available ice cubes on a lower shelf that I dump in from the easily removable new ice bin (at the kitchen sink).

For sanitary reasons, the use of ice cube tongs might make sense in order to avoid contact with fingers. For the extremely high price I paid, one might expect Monogram to have redesigned the ice bin for this specific model with better access.

Overall, I am very satisfied with Monogram at this point. I hope the new Monogram will last at least 21 years with almost zero repair visits as the previous Monogram refrigerator/freezer did, especially considering the very high prices for this line of products.

We’ve only had the refrigerator for 1. 5 years and have already had multiple problems with it. The seal wasn’t properly installed so it was causing the motor to run nonstop and make loud noises. For the first year, the ice maker would just shoot out ice so it just falls behind the ice bucket and lands on all the shelves below, therefore spilling ice on our floor every time we pulled food out.

Now, the ice maker doesn’t make ice at all and makes noises throughout the day and night. I’ve replaced the water filter too. For a $10k+ refrigerator, I would expect to not have these issues, especially within the first 18 months.
