MUCINEX Children’s Mini-Melts-Cough Orange Creme is an effective medication for children that works amazingly well for chest congestion. Although, I still have mixed feelings on the mini-melt aspect of it.

I feel that it is a bit harder to administer to my granddaughter because of the granule consistency. If this were meant to be put in food or drink then it might be easier, but the directions say to pour in child’s mouth, as well as, tastes worse if chewed, so for this reason i rated this product with four stars.

Although, this product is effective and fast acting, it is somewhat more difficult to administer, so if your child has a hard time taking medicine then I would look for Mucinex in a different formula, such as chewables, or liquid.

I tried the Honeyberry night time cough syrup for kids. Even though I am an adult, kids medicine still works for me. I tried some of the medicine. But, I was never sick and had no symptoms. I do not know how well and fast it relieves symptoms.

Also, I do not know how fast it takes for the medicine to take effect. I love syrup form of medicine. I liked the sweet flavor of this medicine. It was sweet enough, but not too sweet. It had the right amount of sweetness.

I only tried a few sips since I was not sick. Also, since it has melatonin, I took it at night time, about 30 minutes before going to bed. It definitely helps you get sleepy and go to bed. It makes you sleepy and your body relaxed.

It did not make me groggy, but I guess it depends on how your body processes it and how much you take. I like that it is vegetarian and has an elderberry extract. I like that it has honey and apple cider vinegar.

I followed some of the directions and shaked it before trying it as the directions stated. For people 6 years of age and older, it says to start with 1. 5 teaspoons and up to 3 teaspoons, which you can measure by using the medicine cup that is provided.

I like the medicine cup because it is convenient and makes it easy to measure the medicine. For other kids medicines that I take when I am sick, I usually take 2 teaspoons and it works well. 3 teaspoons seems like too much and also, taking that much with melatonin.

I would not feel safe taking that much. I would probably take between 1-2 teaspoons. I would not take more than 2 teaspoons. If I would have to take more than 2 teaspoons in order to feel better, I would probably stop using the medicine and continue to take my normal medicine that I usually take.

Also, in the directions, it tells you how much to take, but it does not say how often you should take it or what a safe amount to take every few hours. It just says to take “. as needed. ” That is not specific and not helpful at all.

By saying that, in my opinion, it is a very unsafe thing to say. Even though I was not sick, I would recommend this medicine because it is vegetarian and helps you fall asleep when you are sick. It is a good tasting and sweet medicine to take, especially if you like taking liquid medicine.

It is good for kids and adults, for whom kids medicine works for them, as in my case. It is good for people who hate taking pills or have difficulty taking pills. Overall, this is a good and fun product and take.

This is the product we used when my daughter was not old enough to have other types of cold medicine due to her age. I feel like it helped her when she did not feel great. I do not think it does as good of a job as actual cold medicine, but it is a nice alternative.

This absolutely did not work for my 4 year old. I’m wondering if it made his cough worse too because I have never heard him cough so much that night. It was awful. No one slept. This product is going back for a refund.

It didn’t work for us so that is the review I’m sharing. Hylands Cough and Cough has always worked pretty well but is only effective for about 3-4 hours. I was looking for more long term relief for my little guy.

Not only does it taste great but it helped my little one sleep through the night because he no longer had a stuffy nose. It also brought his fever down. Not too expensive either. Will buy again!
