20 Best Cotton Dresses For Summer (2023 Updated)

Received and washed to remove sizing. Tried on and it hits above midknee, and I’m 5’6, despite washing on cold and hanging to dry. I don’t want to show off my old legs! I’ve got broken veins, crepey and saggy skin, and don’t shave legs real often.

I wish National would consider who the consumers of products are likely to be, and their needs. I don’t care about trends like dress lengths. If I cared about trends in fashion I wouldn’t be shopping here in the first place.

I would prefer an ankle-length, and did buy the longer caftan from here, but it’s one size fits all just swallowed me up and I returned it. I will keep this but won’t buy any more, unless and until I can get long ones.

I ordered these dressed according to the chart and they were much too big. I went by my bust line, which is how one should order a dress, but these ran much to big and I looked like a little white-haired girl who borrowed her mother’s dress! It’s too bad that the dress has a ruffle on the bottom because by the time I had it hemmed, and taken in, the cost would have been exorbitant.

I’m short; long-waisted and have large breasts and I’ve found that it’s almost impossible to find a dress like this that is the proper size. I wish dresses for lounging came in Petite. I hesitated to exchange it because in the end, I could have ended up spending a fortune on shipping.

My advice to the younger me would have been to make some of these dresses before I got such bad arthritis 🙂 – live and learn. I recommend these dresses to those who know their sizes. They are high quality and really good-looking.

Unfortunately, mine are on the way back.

I got this dress in Light Teal a few years ago and ALWAYS receive comments when I wear it. I went looking for some kind of similar dress and decided to get the same one in Blue Bell. It’s perfect for hot summer days/nights and easy to slip into if I have to make a quick run to the store.

It can be totally casual or semi-dressy. I’m big in my belly and my legs do NOT look good in shorts, so this covers a lot of ills! Plus, as a flower child of the 60’s I like the bohemian style.

I’ve been a fan of Tommy Hilfiger since I was a child. Everything from his apparel and purses to Tommy Girl Fragrance. This stunningly comfortable short sleeve t-shirt dress can be worn anywhere. I love the fact that the strap/buckle on both sleeves give it that little bit of elegance.

True to size. This is a comfortable dress. I got a size medium to fit a bit more loose than the model in the picture. Nice material.

i bought this dress because of the color (green) but after i put the dress on, i realize how much stretch was in the dress. I am 5’5 and weigh 270 lbs, my dress is a XL and it fits me snug which is just how i like it but not too snug that it’s uncomfortable.

It’s super nice. looks like the picture! I got a large because they said 6-8 and I’m usually one or the other. So I assumed it would have some more room to it because it was a t-shirt dress, but it doesn’t.

It fits more like a body con dress. That’s the only issue though!.

I purchased 2 shirts from Flytrap and loved them so much that I ordered 2 more items right away. All are beautiful designs, excellent quality, and perfectly reflect my nature loving, home-schooling, yoga, gardening, paddling life.

=) The fabrics are incredibly soft and so comfy too! Jody was also very kind to reach out to be sure that the sizes I ordered were correct, as I originally ordered different sizes. She truly cares about every order and it was lovely chatting with her.

I love this dress. So cute! I have returned it because it was too small and look forward to reordering when my size comes in. Pay close attention to the measurements for the sizes. It runs very small.

Love the material and print of this dress. It\’s looser than I expected but I paired with a belt at the waist and it looks great with that. Without a belt or a jacket it could be a little shapeless. The material is super – almost like a linen mix.

Perfect for hot weather.

Sadly this lovely dress is not true to size. It’s much smaller than any other cotton dresses that I have bought. I normally wear a 2XL, to accommodate my wide shoulders. Typically the 2XL gives lots of room inside the garment, this dress is very tight over the breast.

I absolutely love these dresses. The cute print initially caught my eye and the fact that they’re made of cotton fabric was even better. I ordered one of each color in the print of the sleeveless style and couldn’t be happier.

I wear them every day. they’re cool, comfortable and as cute as can be! Great value, made well and washes up nicely with no ironing. Its a win-win for me!.

The material is paper thin. It also is not 100% cotton. It is 20 % polyester. I can read through it. Will have to wear a full slip under it. The sewn in label doesn’t say Ingear. Neither does the tag attached.

It says I. G. Sport. Very disappointed. I placed a menu underneath the material to show that you can read it but the photo won’t load.

I started buying these last year to wear around the house. They’re not overly warm, dont look horrible when you have to go out to grab the mail or straighten up the yard and i was able to buy most of them for $7 or under.

They hold up really well, regular wash and dry – until your 6 month puppy gets ahold of them and somehow chews just about every neckline out of all five that you own. “Bad puppy”. My new ones I shall keep away from her paws.

aka. teeth. Although maybe I could have started a “rugged look” trend with them? Who knows? If your on the fence with these T-shirt dresses, buy a size up and layer with leggings for a more comfortable look.

If not, order your regular size and just wear a pair of cute sandal flats.

Come on WALMART!!!!!!!!!!! Give it to us! Yall have been stepping your game up lately. Time and tru is THAT brand! If you are hesitant on buying these dress hesitate no more lol! I bought this dress yesterday in gray.

It fits so well and so comfy! I also bought the sleevless time and tru dresses with pockets. They are 95% rayon so a different material but again very comfy. This one is 100% cotton! Man I cant to just wear all of my dresses! I am going back for more colors because these can be worn in the fall/winter too with a jacket of some sort.

Also, for 8 dollars I mean Ross cant beat that lol.

i got a large. am a 38c and 5’8 31 waist. the fit is loose. like a big man’s t-shirt but i love it. it’s the perfect length and with a jean jacket will be perfect. i’m not sure i would size down as walmart sizing isn’t always consistent but if you are smaller than me then go with medium.

hope more colors become available.

Three granddaughters, three different sizes, all fit beautifully! Well made, lined skirts but the best part as far as the girls were concerned were the pockets! Definitely a hit! Delivery was faster than I anticipated.

The yellow was pretty bright. Highlighter yellow a friend called it.

I ordered 2 dresses in the appropriate size. The sundress is very large and longer almost to the ankles. She will grow into it and it is perfect for Florida weather. The other dress in the same size fit very well.

Now if I can get the company to stop spamming my email, I will be completely satisfied.

This is the cutest dress. It’s a thick fabric that looks great and put together. It would be better to iron it, but even without ironing it looks cute. we have the yellow one and it’s such a bright and cheerful color.

We already washed it a couple of times and it still looks great.

It seems cool and comfy. Had to order the largest size. It does run small.

These dresses are cute and extremely comfortable. They hold up well in the wash. Great material and stitching. No issues with shipping. I had to order mine in white and in a larger size not offered in the options and they easily accommodate me.

\nI wish they had dresses with thicker material since the weather is changing where I live. I’d love to wear their dresses for the Winter and Fall. Definitely buy their dresses. You won’t regret it.

The easiest style to wear anywhere! Waffled fabric is super comfortable and the styling is super flattering. I purchased in both colours and even bought 2 of the darker colour. I love them. Easy wear, easy wash and easy for work, out and travel.

You can accessorise them in so many ways and the cut out back is just right to hide your bra band. The sleeves fall at the waist level, giving that all-important chinched waist effect. I adore mine and haven’t stopped wearing all 3 on rotation!.

Lovely soft fabric. Was worried an XS would be too small as I’d read these garments run small, so ordered a S. I think an XS would have been fine as this has room (I’m size 8). The dress is slightly above knee length on me and I’m 5ft 5in.

Easy to feed in – H&M have changed the design so the top part lifts up completely, I’d read reviews of similar dresses where the back part was still attached and made it hard to feed. Great they seem to have taken this feedback on with this dress.

Only criticism is that I wish it had pockets! I keep going to put my hands in either side, would have been very useful!.

really nice material and very comfortable to wear, hard to go wrong with a little black dress. fits like a glove and not see through at all. straps are a little uncomfortable when moving around but other than that no complaints.

I Bought this as a just-because gift for my loving daughter quite a while ago and she really found it beautiful, comfortable and just plain loved it. We are like two opposite poles in sizes, but we both love Haband for its ability to suit and please the petite sizes like mine, as well as the plus sizes like hers at such affordable prices.

This is the one-stop shopping place for me and her.

I wish the neckline of this house dress was higher. We grandmas just don’t feel comfortable showing cleavage at our age. Rather than send it back I will wear a light weight turtle neck underneath it.

For that reason I won’t order this style again. But that is the only reason I wouldn’t order it again. I like the vibrant colors, the length, and the thickness of it.

This dress is nice but wish it had POCKETS!!! So many nice dresses Haband carriers but I just can’t buy them because I need pockets in all my casual dresses for phone, keys and doggie poop bags. Also I wish women would put what their measurements, height and weight is since this would be very helpful in what size to buy.

Not all manufacturers have the same sizing for their clothing. I only rated it 3 stars because of lack of pockets.

When worn as sleep wear, the 3/4 sleeves on this garment keep my shoulders and upper arms comfortably warm while leaving my body cool. In addition, this medium weight shirt washes like a dream with no noticeable shrinkage or fading of the bright colors and comes out of the dryer unwrinkled and looking like new.

These not only comfortable, but easy to wash and wear, youthful looking and flattering to a full figure. I wear ladies 18, XL or 1x, but in these I can wear an l. I have shrunk some, and what I do is wear a slip extender under these dresses so that the extender adds to the dress in femininity and creates modesty.

I would love to see more florals and more colors and maybe even solid colors.

The way that this dress is meant to be loose all the way down means that for people with small waists and big bums, it is very loose on the waist but clings/is tight around the bum, super unflattering! Would suit someone who has a more even shape all the way down.

Nice dress, not a perfect fit. Kinda small on the cardigan arms and a weeny bit big on the waist but for the price I can’t complain! Still looks cute.

When I tried this on, it looked pretty much the same as on the website. The material also felt decent quality. No complaints but I did return it as it didn’t come in time for what I wanted to wear it for.

These house dresses are great for lounging. The cotton fabric starts-off a bit scratchy but softens by the 3rd or 4th wash. Fit was accurate. They are an extremely good value!

I bought these because i needed something to wear every day that would not lay flat on my skin. I bought 4 of these. I love wearing them. The different colors are great. I do wear these every day so I wash them frequently.

After a few washes, the first ones I bought the material started to thin out.
