19 Best Corset For Wedding Dress (2023 Updated)

This product was amazing! I was supposed to be in a wedding in April, but due to the pandemic, it was postponed until the end of August. In April, I was very early in my pregnancy. In August, I was 7 months pregnant so my bridesmaids dress did not fit anymore! I ordered this and it worked perfectly! Thank you for saving my dress!! It shipped super quickly! The kit, itself, is okay. However, the colour described is far from being accurate in my opinion. It is more pale pink than it is ‘Champagne’. \n\nI would advise anyone else ordering ‘champagne’ colour (or any other colour described by the seller) to ask for a swatch of the fabric, first, otherwise you may be as disappointed as I was in receiving a kit that had to be returned.

\n\nI have been left out of pocket with the above purchase as the seller refused to refund return shipping or VAT and post office handling charges incurred at this end in the UK. Very, very disappointed.

I love the whole corset replacement idea and simplicity of it. Its an awesome alternative for dresses. Personally, I like to touch and inspect fabric before I purchase it. Unfortunately color matching is ridiculously inconvenient when ordering online.

So, I’m not at all a fan of online ordering, but, somethings just aren’t readily available at my local fabric shop.

We purchased this for my boyfriend to wear, and the XL fit a men’s M perfectly. Super sexy, he said it was comfortable, and easy to take on and off. Love it!

The waist corset it super cute and good material. It’s a nice fit too, flares out a bit on the sides but I feel that’s normal for waist corsets. Would buy again

I bought this in the red, I was unsure between the small and medium, my busy is 38-40 but my waist is around 27/28… I got the small and it fits perfectly. Just get it if you’re thinking about it!

fits great and the quality is good, easy to get on but the straps are a little time consuming. My boyfriend loves the. colour, I have it in red. Only thing I am not 100% Feeling is the laces on the back come out the middle and are very long.

I would recommend it for sure, need some thigh highs to match to complete. The packaging was good.

My body is a little. different shaped, and a lot of pieces don’t super fit my small bust but wide hips. This piece does that for me. I will say I have downsized in this because the piece itself is nice and stretchy, so it gives you a bit more space to play around with the sizing, but the laces allow me to tighten and shift how it fits me as my weight fluctuates a smidge.

Great piece, simple, can be worn out, an be worn in. Will rebuy when it fails me.

Love the look. Adjustable fit. The lacing to fit the corset to the size you need was a bit challenging but once you get it, it fits great. The stretch in it is nice and easy on and off with the zipper.

When my daughter tried on her wedding dress for final alterations, the bodice of her dress was gaping open a bit due to it being strapless. The bridal shop had a few styles of bustier’s to try with her dress.

Long story short, the best fitting bustier was a Felina brand. (34C) Although it was a bit too small in the cups, it made her dress fit beautifully. I wrote down the style number and ordered a 34D and it was absolutely perfect and she said it was very comfortable on.

Now I’m getting ready to order myself one as well.

I like some things about this bustier. It’s very tight which I wanted and has a non-slip gel border inside. The only thing that I was disappointed about is the tube shape it gives. The waist area is no tighter than the hip and bust area.

It actually feels loose only around my waist at the tightest, which feels too tight for my hips. For reference, my waist is 29” and hips and bust are both about 34”. I bought the small size.

I actually have no clue how this bustier fits because I couldn’t get it on! Other reviews mentioned it being difficult, but I assumed that I could figure out a way. But I couldn’t. One tiny design tweak might make it manageable for a flexible woman to do, and that would be adding boning to both sides of the hook and eye opening.

But as is, you’ll need a ladies maid! Had to return it since I don’t have anyone around to help me dress.

I just received this as my first corset yesterday, and I love it so much that I am about to buy another style. I used the self measurement calculator on the website, and it was very accurate. I am 5 ft, 120 lbs, and my natural waist is 29.

My squished waste is 25 and torso length is 10. I went with the recommended size 22 and it fits perfectly. I was able to size down three in a half inches in this corset on my first try. The only thing I wasn’t crazy about is the length of the strings.

If you want your corset to be laced with ribbon instead then add their re-lacing ribbon service to your cart. They recommend that I go with a size 5 ribbon to order for my first corset since I’m going to re-lace it myself, but they also will do it for you for a small fee if you send your corset back to them.

This company has excellent customer service as well. I have sent them a ton of emails and they have replied very quickly. My shipment was also fast. I am a happy customer, and I will definitely be purchasing from them again.

This is my first corset and I am completely blown away how well made it is, how comfortable it is, and how good it makes me look. I am only on my third day of seasoning and it is already fitting better, easier to lace, and feeling better than when I got it.

I am a T-3 paraplegic and I don’t have the use of my abdominal muscles so everything just spills out forward and I tend to hunch over a bit. I workout constantly to strengthen my back but I still lack good support.

Not any more! There are medical corsets available and they are very expensive and they don’t look very nice. This one is very nice looking and gives me the same support as the medical one for one fifth the cost! OC’s customer service is second to none as well.

I tried a different model corset at first and it didn’t fit right. The girls got me completely taken care of and into the correct one as well as processing my refund for the other one very quickly. You guys have a customer for life and I cant wait for this one to be available in mesh, in my size.

Longtime shapewear user, first time corset buyer! These guys aren’t kidding about the importance of seasoning, and after maybe only eight days of slowly breaking it in, it already feels SO beautifully conformed to my body that I can easily take 3 inches off my waist with absolutely zero discomfort.

I didn’t talk directly to a sizing consultant, but based on other reviews I sized down for the mesh even though it’s technically my first corset (8 inches smaller than natural waist, 32″->size 24″). I’m already able to almost fully close it in the back, and it seems like at its absolute max it’s actually much closer to a 5 inch waist reduction.

Not a problem for a beginner like me who is only wearing this underneath my regular clothes, of course, but this might be helpful information to others! Also I can see how the mesh must be really breathable and comfortable in the summer, but at the cost of looking like you got caught in a cheese grater, I still wear a corset liner underneath it every day haha.

I saw this online and immediately wanted it but I was worried that it would not fit. I’m typically a size 12/14 and wear 38-40 D cup bras. I saw some reviews that seemed hopeful and thought I would order and return it if it didn’t work.

I ordered an XL just in case. It looks and feels amazing. Very comfortable on and doesn’t feel as stiff as I thought it would. I could have probably sized down to a L but the XL still works. Very flattering and will look so cute under an oversized tank or I would imagine some braver girls wearing it as a top.

The only thing I wished was different was the front closure doesn’t adjust. I worry it will stretch as you wear it and have no way to tighten it. I purchased the black. I might purchase the lobster color but I do hope they bring out more color options for this because I will definitely buy them all!.

I really wanted to like this! But I think it’s for much younger women. If you want something to give you support and make you look sexy regardless of age and gravity, this isn’t for you. Little to no support.

The lace was comfy and it was stretchy but it just lets everything hang out.

This corset was exactly what I wanted for my Halloween costume. The satin of the corset is very nice. The ribbon it came with was fine quality for function, but I bought some double sided satin ribbon for the laces just because I like the look better.

This is very comfortable and well made. It’s not overly restricting and is easily adjustable, although I would ask a friend to help with that as it’s best adjusted while it’s being worn. The fabric is good quality and not overly shiny like some of this kind can be.

It feels expensive even though it’s not. Very, very good. Definitely exceeded my expectations.

Just what I wanted and expected! Decently made and fairly comfortable to wear. The strings could be changed out for something more durable. It also came with a matching thong. which was a surprise! I bought it for historical reenactments and was suited well for that purpose.

I absolutely adore the corset! It fits nice and snug and stays hidden under clothes. I ordered a size smaller to make sure it fit my waist and hips. Sadly, the cups are too small but I knew that was going to happen when I ordered.

Thankfully, the corset stays hidden under the dress I will be wearing it with very well so you cant even tell! And I am sure I can find a way to increase the cups size with a few alterations on it. The corset is beautifully designed and constructed (I know my corsets, having worn them/had them custom-made for period costume on stage) but unfortunately too big. I thought I had followed the size chart carefully and measured myself accurately but the size I received was way too big.

It was firm once tightened but met all the way down the back and so did not allow for any waist sculpting nor did my breasts fill the cup nor hips fill the gores – and I’m really curvy so this was a surprise! I’ve returned the corset (apologies that I had to cut the label off as it got in the way when I was tightening the laces!) with a request to replace with two sizes smaller … fingers crossed, as I would love to enjoy the beautiful garment.

I’m already quite a long time fan of Corset Story. The last corset I bought was the long red brocade with hip gores. I can admit, although I still haven’t completely broken into the corset, the elongated hourglass structure with hip gores that accentuate the waist is not only the most beautiful, but also surprisingly not uncomforable to wear.

When this corset is laced, I guess the gores and the upper part distribute the excessive “flesh”. I’m as well very satisfied with the quality of used fabrics, etc.

I purchased this dress for a wedding (and got the bride’s approval), but ended up returning because the lacy fabric was unexpectedly itchy. It’s hard to see, but the lace actually has some glitter on it so the fabric wasn’t what I was expected.

That being said, the fit was really good overall. I’m 5’3″, 140 lbs, size 6 and the medium fit well. I think some people could tolerate the itchiness, but with this summer humidity, I didn’t want to risk it.

I found this dress almost 4 years ago online. I tried it on a year later and finally bought it 2 years ago. I never thought I would want an A-line dress but I fell in love with it on the model and when I finally got to try it on.

OMG, this dress is amazing! Ugh, the fit is great, the material is thick and feels like it is of a decent quality. The color is gorgeous. The corset back is beautiful and makes customizing the dress to your size so easy.

Purchased this dress along with another one for mu daughters prom. The one purchased from another site came in and was literally see through. Needless to say, it was returned. However, when this dress arrived, the fabric was a nice thick material that held its shape micrly.

The dress is absolutely stunning from the front. I usually wear a size 6 or 8. I ordered a size 6 which fit me fine, but that’s because it is a backless dress, so there is quite a bit of room for error in that you can simply tie the back a bit looser to fit up a size.

The lace-up straps are a bit challenging to manage, in that the dress is beautifully made, very heavy and the thin spaghetti straps, laced up in the back has to hold up the dress which weighs a few pounds, causing the dress to pull down in the front.

Unless you want your puppies to fall out, its not a good look. Also, the boning over the breast area is really odd. You cannot tell when looking at the dress head on, but from the side, the boning is actually a bit pointy, looking like the bras women used to wear in the 60ies.

While really beautiful when on, some of the metal boning from the corset was poking through the cloth, and was really painfully sharp. I don’t think the quality of the dress was there–just too many sharp edges from the metal in the corset/torso area.

Otherwise, I thought the dress was gorgeous.

Loved this dress and wanted it to work but would have needed to hem close to 8 inches from the bottom just to make it close to short enough! The rest of the fit was perfect – perhaps petite or short lengths would be good for this of us who are not 6 feet tall!.

I rarely leave reviews, but this dress is beautiful. It has that crepe feel to it and drapes very nicely. It’s modest and classy. I don’t like buying clothes without seeing review pictures, but this dress was worth it.

Wearing it as a bridesmaid’s dress. I’m 5’2, ~114 lbs, 34A. I am generally an XS (2) for clothes, so I went into Winsor and tried on a few dresses for sizing. XS is probably for 00 ladies, and I ended up ordering a small (the size chart is accurate).

Dress will need to be altered for length, but I’ll be keeping this dress for a long time so I don’t mind.

I am very disappointed in the quality of the dress. It does not look like the picture. The material on the picture makes it seem like the dress is a flowy kind of chiffon material. Instead, it is a rigid and noticeable low quality.

I am attending a wedding this weekend and I now have to look for a new dress :(.

This is my first ever corset and it’s got me excited for more. At first I struggled with putting it on but after I figured it out I loved the support it gave and the statement piece it made to my outfit.

This is my first from Corset Story and overall I was satisfied. Could have possibly gone down a size for cup fit, but it’s not unmanageable. My only slight complaint is that the snaps at the front are pretty difficult to get snapped (esp when you have arthritis) and can tend to snap open unexpectedly.

Lovely basic corset that fits well under clothes. I do find the front hooks a little fiddly at times but the corset is extremely well made for the price. I also bought this in black and they are just lovely.

I’m a size 18 hourglass and I find that they nip and hug exactly were needed.
