20 Best Corset For Back Pain (2023 Updated)

I’ve been experiencing hip and leg pain from sciatica for around 5 years. It was either go to work part time or do things around the house, not both. So I finally got a spinal x-ray from my ***, got referred to an orthopedist, got an MRI, and was diagnosed with spinal arthritis and stenosis and compression of the discs.

Fortunately no herination yet. The ortho wanted me to buy their brace for over $1,000. HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA I haven’t reached my deductible yet. I would have had to pay out of pocket. Welcome to the USA.

So I looked around and found this thing for $65. It looked the same and claims to do what I needed, so I bought it. After TWO DAYS, I noticed that my pain was reduced to 10 or 20% depending on the day.

After a few weeks of using this at work, and most of the time around the house, I went to an amusement and water park without it. I climbed the stairs to the water slides four times and walked around for hours.

I was tired from advanced age (56, haha) way before my leg hurt, but I don’t recommend anyone else give it a test like that. I was annoyed that the pulley handles were too far forward to give me the tightness I wanted, but I realized I was doing it wrong.

(pics!!) You need to lay the brace out and undo the handles and THEN pull the two sides of the corset AWAY FROM each other. Then stick the handles back on. When I did this, they ended up on my sides, then I had all kinds of slack to pull the handles all the way to the front again and make it tight.

These braces are lifesavers! They are absolutely no joke. The only reqson I was able to return to work was because of the use of these braces. There is nothing like them. I immediately had my father try it out and he ordered one, too.

You WILL feel the benefits immediately after putting it on. I won’t leave home without it!.

I could not be happier. The details are gorgeous and build quality is premium. I’d been looking for a good back support belt for a while and noticed that this seems to be the “go to” for the top strongmen atm, if that’s not a good review, I don’t know what is! If i’m messing around with weights bodyweight or higher this is a must have, it’s used every squat session and with most strongman events.

It gives some stability to the back through the splints and generally warms the core. So pleased I picked this up and not a cheaper competitors, the quality speaks for itself.

Bought this following spinal surgery as required some additional support when lifting. Well made, comfortable and supportive. The double fastening which allows tighter fitting enables a snug fit. The boneing is firm enough to offer support without becoming restrictive.

While the belts a wider fit then usual the neoprene construction allows movement through full exercises without pinching or restriction. Added bonus that it can also be worn as an under belt for when additional resistance/support is needed.

Brought one these for my wife and I to share whilst training and for her to use when competing in Strongwoman competitions. Great fitting and quality product and really gives great support. In my opinion essential part of your kit when training or competing.

Would definitely recommend this product to others who are looking for a support belt.

I love this brace. I know this review says Tom, but it’s Peggy. I was starting to slump while checking email and reading the paper in the morning. I bought this Comfy Brace so I could force myself to keep my shoulders back.

I basically only wear it up to 2 hours/day or 2 hours 3-4 times a week. My husband says it has helped me a lot. I’m very happy with this brace and I will continue to use it because I know muscle memory is a real thing.

After four lumbar surgeries, including a ‘caged fusion,’ 13 years ago, I finally reached a point where I sort of got my life back. Prior to that last big one, I lived in agony for over twenty five years.

Agony!!! I have Degenerative Disc disease, meaning, the discs’ between my vertebra had worn down to almost nothing in the last five vertebra in my lower back; no disc means: bone on bone = excruciating pain, constantly, 24/7.

See, after all the surgeries in my lower back had finally failed, there was no strength left. Almost like my lower body couldn’t hold up my upper body. I was walking bent over like I was 100 years old.

And I couldn’t walk more that fifty or so feet. Standing in any line was out of the question unless I had a walker, which became my new ‘necessary’ friend. You tend to get very depressed when you’re in so much pain, every day of you life, and you feel totally useless. Do I recommend this company? You bet I do. Whatever your problem is, you’ll find a brace that will accomadate your needs. They are made very well and will last a long, long time. Being fully adjustable allows me to zero in on the adjustment while I’m wearing it to maximize the relief I’m looking for.

Sorry for being wordy here, but I felt a little background and context would be better than saying. Buy it, it works. Hope this review helps someone in pain make the right decision on which brace to get for their back issues and relief.

This is a true evaluation from a real buyer of a lumbar brace.

I got my brace today. I was worried about it not fitting but it does! I’m so happy. I’m a wide hipped plus size lady. I put it on without realizing the bands extend on both sides giving me a great snug fit.

I have Ehlers Danlos Syndrome and have issues with my tailbone dislocating or hip problems. The snug hug I got from the brace, helped me with pain. It turned the hot pain down. Very happy.

I’m 5 foot and very small and the brace is too big on me. I need the brace to support the S. I. Joint area and because it’s not a good fit for small, petite women, this brace doesn’t stay in place; it rides up on me and requires constant adjustment.

I’m not very pleased. The brace is also too wide for a petite woman. It needs to be modified for petite women with a narrower brace.

I ordered originally three corsets (one in promotion), but due to a bad communication with the shipping company they never arrived. Unfortunately, I didn’t only loose money for the shopping to Europe but also 30% of the amount I paid for the corsets because of the policy Orchard Corset has.

So I ordered once again, this time only two, because the third one wasn’t available anymore. And when I received them I was very disappointed by one of them. I previously bought a BEIGE mesh corset, and the tone of beige was perfect, even though it wasn’t clear in the pictures.

This time, I bought one more corset in BEIGE, bit it is not at all the same tone! Yet, both of them are “beige” on the website, there’s not a slight difference in the description between the two of them.

I put pictures here to compare with my previous corset and the one I bought now, and that is more orange than beige. Honestly, I am deeply disappointed with this experience.

Just received mine in the mail yesterday. Now just a heads up lacing yourself into the corset was EXTREMELY frustrating but kept trying!!! Another thing I noticed with the laces is that there was on small parts of the lace it was like tearing? That’s the best way I can describe it because I can’t upload photos onto here.

It’s not a big deal to me just something I wanted to point out to others. It’s brand new so I’m still in the seasoning process but according to the videos about how to check your size my corset is a perfect fit! It’s not too big or too small.

It’s surprising very comfortable, on their seasoning guide it says it should feel like a hug it does! 😂Also would like to say that their customer service is excellent! They went out of their way to answer every question I had and they helped me out with finding out the best size and style for me in their corsets.

My corset 411 size 22 was shipped quickly and received in great condition. I am new to corsets but found the seasoning instructions easy and clear. I am 3 weeks into my corset journey and find my corset easy to wear around the house.

I’ve even worn it while repainting my kitchen. However, I am still getting used to sitting in it. It keeps your posture so straight. Sitting on hard chairs or office chairs is comfortable. When sitting on the couch, I need to prop several pillows behind my back.

I have driven while wearing my corset. While it was not the most comfortable experience, it was tolerable. I would definitely recommend Orchard Corsets and would buy from them again.

O wear it daily. It will last you a long time. I suggest you order 2 for your current size and one size smaller as you lose weight. I prefer the latex and boning style over all others. It’s smooth under your clothes.

It’s my first day wearing it and I love it already! I bought the 3x I noramlly wear large shirt (large fits a bit snug in me) I wear size B/C bras and pants around my waist are size 14 so the 3x fit my just perfect on the first clips.

This is an absolutely excellent quality corset that looks beautiful to wear. The materials used are durable and well shaped and sewn. I bought the corset mostly to help support my back after an injury but also figured that if it was small enough I could use it for waist training once my back improved and it has worked brilliantly for both.

I have tried to buy corsets many times in the past but this is the first one I’ve found that starts off small enough that tightening the laces actually makes a difference and it’s also the first I’ve found that was long enough that it can support my lower back without cutting into my hips thanks to the hip ties.

This corset fits my body perfectly. Great shape. It doesn’t dig into my hips wrong like some other brands I have. I have a smaller upper body with wider, fuller hips so I find as I go down in sizes, I sometimes have issues with the fit around my hips.

Definitely not a problem with this style and fit! I love the feel of the material. Its a very sturdy corset. I definitely want another in this style in probably a cotton material for better stealthing.

I have a longer torso with slimmer hips and smaller breasts so I am hoping to create shape with my corset. The pvc material is amazing and feels great. The longline length fits me perfectly since I am on the longer side of the scale.

I have experienced back pain ever since I was a teenager and nothing short of surgery would ever work to relieve that pain. So I resigned myself to taking Ibuprofen and Tylenol morning, during the day and before bed to make the pain bearable.

On a whim I decided to try your back brace along with a knee brace to help with an arthritic knee. After trying different types of remedies and compression garments in the past I was of course dubious of how these two garments would work.

It’s been several weeks now and I have to say, I am amazed and so very grateful. The pain is minimal now and bearable in both my back and knee and I’ve been able to do more physical activities that I had to give up over the years; all with very little help from Ibuprofen or Tylenol.

It is a slightly bigger fit then I had measured that I’d need. May order a smaller size later in but it is usable at this size. I think that the curvature of my abdomen makes the brace sit kinda high in on back, otherwise is slides up.

But I do believe it has helped my chronic back pain. I love that the tension can be adjusted! When my back is needing more support it is nice to be able to tighten it up with the adjustable straps.

Excellent. I purchased this specifically for heavy weight use in the gym. The design of this support far exceeds the standard gym belt and prohibits over stress of the spine. It’s design also allows it to be worn under regular clothing should one require extra support in daily life.

I have herniated discs at L1, L4 and L5. I also have the aspen summit 637. I was looking for a smaller lumbar brace to drive and do other things without the brace being too bulky like the summit. I am completely satisfied with the horizon and glad I chose this brace.

It is slimmer, lighter and feels great all around. It does not go all the way up my back like the summit but provides great protection. Its very low profile and still provides the lumbar with protection and nice padding.

Its comfortable and very happy with the purchase. No doubts now, it was well worth it. Its adjustable, can barely tell its there under clothes, has the strings to tighten both the upper and lower portion of your back to your liking.

My neighbor had spine surgery and was given one of these braces post-op. I’d mentioned that I have age related back pain mainly from poor lifting mechanics from my younger days. He suggested that I try his brace to see if it offered relief.

I’m pretty new to corsetry, so I didn’t expect at all to find something so comfortable that I can wear almost all day including train ride on the packed trains. Material is buttery soft to touch yet steady for daily use as the under garment.

I’m quite short (150cm) with long torso of about 13 inches. It looks like a longline corset which give the control around tummy with the mobility of standard length corset. I like how it naturally hugs my hips and rib area while cinching the waistline to give it an hourglass figure.

I would buy gemini in many more colors and materials!.

I love this corset! For the last 10 years I’ve had an underbust slim silhouette corset from TT size 22. I have always liked it, but my biggest issue was that for the life of me I could not get it to close in the bottom half.

There was always an ‘A’ gap in the back and it just never was very comfortable. It felt like it was digging into my pelvis in the low back because the fit was off. When it started to show its age, I contacted TT to ask for help this time in finding a corset and they recommended the Gemini silhouette in size 18.

Every bit of discomfort I had with the fit and issues with closing the corset were immediately gone. My only complaint is that I’d like more fabric options. Compared to my satin slim silhouette, this one is quite rough.

If it came in satin it would be a home run for me. Also PLEASE make an overbust! I would immediately buy it if TT had the option. For reference, my measurements are bust 35″, underbust 25. 5″, waist 25″, and hips 35″.
