Cette bande épaisse à mémoire de forme se colle comme une bande classique avec de l’enduit a joint. Sa structure plastifiée garantit qu’il n’y aura aucune bulle. Elle est un peu épaisse et n’est pas recommandée pour les joints plats entre plaque.

Cette utilisation n’est toutefois pas impossible mais nécessitera d’être bien serrée sur des bords amincis bien prononcés. Je n’ai pas eu de souci au plafond avec des plaques pré enduites de marque Siniat.

Avec l’absence de risque de bulle cette bande plastifiée permet le collage et la charge en une seule passe.

Mise en place facile, corrige les petites imperfection de découpe du placo, arrêtes parfaitement rectiligne grâce à sa rigidité et surtout, ne rouille pas dans le temps comme la bande armée traditionnelle.

Pour le reste c’est la bande papier basique. Je ne pourrais plus m’en passer. Merci Leroy Merlin!.

The usefulness of these corner braces is twofold. First, it helps you achieve four 90 degree corners on your stretcher frame. Second, it can eliminate the need for crossing your support braces. For a 48×80 stretcher frame, I used the four corners plus three 48″ cross braces, instead of crossing the 48’s with one 80″ brace, which would have required notching and extra time to order (see my review on Best cross braces).

These corner braces are just hardboard triangles with six predrilled holes. I guess you could make them yourself but their 90 degree angles are perfect and the holes are already there, which to me is worth it.

Please note that screws are not included with these corner braces. But they fit perfectly with Best stretcher bars, as there is a ledge on the bars which allows the corner brace to fit flush in each corner of the stretcher.

Handy in keeping stretchers square and especially nice with the Frederick’s brand heavy duty stretchers which have a recess the exact depth of these on the back, but I wish these corners included the nails.

Finding 1″ nails with 1 /4″ flatheads, so the nail doesn’t slide through the predrilled holes, is not so easy.

I had 3 lbs. of the Wall Joint Compound that was left by the previous homeowners. It was pretty dried out so I kept adding water little by little to get the consistency I desired. Then it was time to go to work patching and texturing some drywall.

I am far from an expert at this but I think things went very well. I will be taking this with me to my next home. Great product in my experience!.

I used these for attaching a floating entertainment shelf unit to an apartment wall. They are perfect for my application. Heavy duty and attractive. I had to use short screw in plugs due to no studs and a firewall behind the gyprock.

But two of these brackets easily hold a 30 pound entertainment unit and about the same in electronics.

I am really impressed with this product – it exceeded my hopeful expectations. I am not using it for it’s original purpose, however. I just purchased a new crafted wood platform bedroom set. We live in a small place, so my computer desk and chair are at the foot of our bed.

I looked around the internet to find something unobtrusive to protect the bottom of my bed from the wheels of my desk chair, and found this product. The width was what I needed and the wood design I chose actually matches the oak on my bed almost exactly.

You can hardly notice that it is there and it really stands up to the scrapes and bumps of the wheels. A quality product.

These worked really great to join two perpendicular boards together. I broke the fasteners that came with the furniture, these brought it back to 100%.
