Best Corn Dishes For Thanksgiving (2024 Updated)

I’ve had dishes like these before that were thin and tipped over easily. These are thicker and much more stable. Great quality and they wash up great in the dishwasher too. Love these especially for my kids so the corn doesn’t roll around on the plate—also keeps the melted butter contained instead of running all over the plate.

I like them so much I reordered 2 more sets for my daughter’s family. Highly recommend.

We eat a lot of corn on the cob and we really enjoy these. The melted butter stays in the bottom of the dish and it’s easy to roll the corn in it. Nice to not have to take up room on the dinner plate for the corn.

I’d rather have ceramic ones but these are still nice.

This product is so handy whether you’re cooking out & using paper plates, or just having dinner in. It saves space on your plate & you don’t have to worry about your paper plate will break. Love these!.

Love this corn cob set. The tray is made of thin hard plastic with a textured design made to look like a corn cob. The handles are soft silicone and slightly flat. These are both cute and functional.

I shouldve gotten a second set.

I am so sad that Pfaltzgraff now has things made in China, not the USA. I have very old Yorktown and the difference is quite noticeable. Even my corn dishes purchased in the 90s are so much better. Luckily I use them only in the summer.

But I do wish the stuff was manufactured in our country. One other thought … the corn dishes are good for sub sandwiches and fruit salad.

Cross-section could be more rounded. Bottom is too flat (butter doesn’t pool in “one spot”). The sides are too vertical (they don’t stack that nicely in the cabinets when not in use). These are nit-picks though.

However, they work, beats using a common plate and they are better than plastic corn holders (cost more though). Personally I don’t care about the color, how they look, whether or not they have a pattern.

Only thing I care about is the quality, functionality, ease of cleaning, and the cost. I’d buy them again.

I’ve had these for years and love them. My married daughter now loves them too; I looked in eBay but they cost so much! I was glad to discover pfaltzgraff still makes them, so I ordered some for her birthday.

She will be happy!.

These are the bomb! I love corn and I like a lot of butter and toppings on mine so these are a major plus because if helps keep all of my butter and toppings on my corn instead of it rolling around in a plate! Highly recommend! Affordable you get 4 for $1!.

Perfect for holding corn on the cob. Melt some butter in it and just spin the corn around.

I like this because it keeps all the juice out of my plate. I wish it had more grip on the bottom but I like it a lot.

I really like grits especially in the winter. I could not find any organic grits in the stores nearby so when I saw these I had to give it a try. Well since then I have bought at least 6 more bags. I have these almost every morning for breakfast.

I crack an egg into it, add a bit of shredded cheese, maybe some sunflower seeds, butter and sprinkle hemp seeds on top. Yummy!!!! And so healthy too. They are great plain with just a bit of butter on top too.

Its a nice hardy breakfast or even as a side dish for dinner. So versatile and delicious.

I purchased the Shark Corn Holders as a gift for a coworker who loves sharks. Unfortunately the Shark heads and tails are not attached to the tines that go into the corn cob. I expect that the tines, which will need to be inserted and removed from the corn cob would be firmly attached to the shark heads & tails.

Returning as they don’t serve their purpose.

Bought two sets and they are great. So much more fun than my boring corn on the cob std. Buy if you have kids or Adults who never grew up. My hubby and I and my grown sons love them!

My 3 year old daughter loves these shark corn holders. She still has me cut the corn off the cob before she eats it but loves playing with the shark.

I highly recommend this product. A favorite side dish for my family, I take a tablespoon of butter melt in a frying Pan, once the butter is melted I add a can of the white hominy and sauté. Once the hominy has cooked about 5 min I take two eggs and scramble in a bowl with salt and pepper and then add to the pan.

Once eggs are mixed well with hominy and cooked I had a cup of shredded Monterey Jack cheese. This makes a great side dish!.

Goya White Hominy is my favorite! It’s the perfect addition to my Taco Chili recipe that is perfect for the fall and winter months. My mother (who swore that she hated hominy) tried my recipe and LOVED the hominy addition.

It shocked her that she loved it so much. She asked for the recipe and now it’s the only chili recipe that she makes. The Goya White Hominy is key!.

Decent for the price. There is not much flavor compared to other canned versions of this. I think a major thing to improve can be by making it taste better. I usually use this when making pozole but I really don’t prefer this brand.

This is a fixed ingredient in my home made unwrapped burrito salad. I like the roasted flavor for this recipe. It’s sweet, but has a toasted or burned end taste. It’s always on my kitchen and in my shopping list.

It’s also great in any other kind of salad. I preffer it fresh from the can and not cooked with any meal. For cooking I prefer to have a frozen bag of sweet corn in the freezer. That way I can control how much I pour into.

No need to deal with a whole can.

Bought a can and tried it then went back and bought several more cans, went back to buy more and it’s no longer there. Please don’t tell me you out out a good product just to discontinue it. A famy size or 2 packages of Spanish rice mixes, rotisserie chicken chopped up added into cooked rice, can of back beans and a can of fire roasted corn mixed in, no extra spices added, then stuff tortillas and roll them too with cheese and bake for 20-25 soooo good!!!! Bring back the fire roasted corn please.

Our family and friends absolutely love the Fire Roasted Corn, we always buy several cans at a time. It is wonderful mixed with Mexican Cornbread. The only problem we have now is we can’t find it in any of our grocery stores where we live! We’ve looked all over our city, but to no avail.

My question is. where’s the Fire Roasted Corn? I certainly hope Del Monte hasn’t decided not to produce such a fantastic product!.

I loved the look of this bowl, and the size. Unfortunately it was manufactured poorly and arrived with a large crack/split in the side (didn’t reach to the top or bottom, like a seam had split). I never got to use it – Zulily’s excellent customer service made it right, but I can’t recommend this bowl.

Perfect size for a large bowl of popcorn. Feels like melamine. Nice and sturdy. Will hand wash so print doesn’t come off.

A family member recommended this tool to me before I started the process of freezing corn off the cob. She told me that it’s a must-have and she was 100% accurate. This is a fabulous tool to have, buy it!.

Also, the online purchase for store pick-up was so, so simple. and the staff members were great during the pick-up process.

This makes it much easier to strip corn off the cob. However, there was a learning curve. I’ve found it’s easier to do with the corn laying on it’s side (and not standing up) and you have to put the right amount of pressure to get the full kernel.

Still a handy tool to have since we love fresh corn and 4 of our 5 family members don’t like it on the cob.

Pros, does exactly as described. Removes the kernels of the cob much faster, easier and safer than a knife. Sturdy build. Great product. Cons, none Have not tried any similar products so I cannot make a comparison.

bag of Bob’s Red Mill Artisan Bread Flour (6 loaves later) I write my first product review – ever! Hands down this is the absolute best flour for no-knead breads. I was usually successful with other flours but the flavor was never there with an artisan loaf.

No matter what the length of rise and rest time, the flavor simply never developed. But with Bob’s Red Mill Artisan Flour, my boules have complex FLAVOR. And I can’t say enough about the crumb and ‘custard’ of the interior.

This is a must have in my pantry. My family loves this oatmeal. It does take a litlle more time to cook but it’s better that way. We like to have different toppings like fruits, agave syrup, cinnamon, raisins, and sometimes chocolate chips.

We also bake cookies or muffins with this too and it turns out so good and delicious. Very hearty and healthy for you too. Keeps you full for a longer span of time and gives a sustained energy level through out the day.

I bought this flour from Walmart last week. It got to me REALLY fast which I really appreciate but the issue was it was busted when I got it. Flour was all over my other orders. It would’ve made sense to pack the flour separately.

This is not my first time ordering this flour. I’ve ordered it from Amazon a month ago and I got the product in tact. I don’t understand why the employee that packaged this item didn’t even use common sense to do this.

The flour’s original packaging busted either from throwing it around in the UPS truck or just dropping it on my front door. Either way it should’ve been packaged properly. This review isn’t for the quality of the product.

The product it is great that’s why I ordered it again even though it’s more expensive than other organic flour.

Love these popcorn bowls! They are perfect for our family. I initially bought one and decided to go back and buy another. Each bowl holds one bag of microwaveable popcorn perfectly. I’ve only washed them by hand, but they’re very easy to clean.

Bought the first one about 6 months ago; they both have held up really well so far.

Pros: Holds plenty of popcorn, wide making it stable, tall with large circumference so it catches almost every kernel shot from air popper, inexpensive, reusable, and looks like the popcorn buckets used in most movie theaters.

Cons: Fragile if handled roughly. Mine suffered damages during shipment. Might be too large for most people. Two buckets of half the size would be better for sharing and would take up half the space for storage.

Other thoughts: Although mine sustained multiple damages during shipment, It still works better than any other bowls in my kitchen for eating and popping popcorn without a mess to clean up.

I bought several for the Holiday’s in different sizes and they were a big hit. Sturdy buckets and nice pattern. Just Perfect for any movie goer at Home 🙂 Great Company to deal with 😉 T/U for a smooth transaction :).

Best tasting corn snack product I think I’ve ever eaten. Ever tried biting an ear of very fresh, very sweet corn at it’s peak? That’s the flavor of these tasty little treats. They are freeze dried with all the flavor removed, and it’s just corn, nothing added, ideal for a person like me with so many allergies.

My mouth is watering just thinking of them.

This brings back such good memories for me. I used to eat these all the time! My mom would get the freeze-dried veggies and I would always pick put the corn. When I finally found this product, I was so happy.

My daughter loves it too and it feels like a healthy and tasty snack.

I really was looking forward to having these little corn on the cob. What a disappointment. My first try I microwave them, when I took them out I realized this was not going to be good. Way too old. Corn at this age would never make it into the house if you lived on a farm.

It would go to the cattle. The second time I tried it I boiled it, same thing. When one is on a fixed income it really hurts to throw food away, which I did. I’ll never Buy green giant frozen foods again.

Green Gian Nibbles corn on the cob are little pieces of deliciousness. Follow the directions to cook and you will have the sweetest little corn on the cob you can get. The price is reasonable for what you get.

For that sweet corn on the cob taste you crave Green Gian Nibblers is the way to go.

I love to use the Green Giant Nibblers corn on the cob when we cannot get fresh corn on the cob. As a southern household we live off of fresh fruits and veggies especially during the summer. When we can’t find fresh corn we turn to Green Giant.

Their veggies are so fresh when thawed. The corn on the cob is flavorful and delicious. This is a win win food purchase.

Long Time Customer: I have purchased the Filigree Pattern from 1990 – 2022. In my opinion I don’t think these should be advertised as from the Filigree Pattern. True Filigree has a Shiny and slightly Off White Finish.

These corn holders are Matte and so do not look to match my numerous Filigree dishes. Also these items are not stamped Pfaltzgraff as all the other Pfaltzgraff items I own. (But do have 2 Removable Stickers showing the Pfaltzgraff and China Names.

) Disappointed, as due to this, these items “appear” to be off brand and not Pfaltzgraff. Other than the disappointing non-matching issue these corn holders look to be a generous and useful size. Note: Unfortunately, no photo option is available to post with this review.

1. ) Corn Dish Glaze Finish (Matte) does not duplicate & match Filigree Finish (Shiny). 2. ) The Pfaltzgraff Name & Country Made In Notations are not stamped on undersides – as on all my previous dish ware.

But are on temporary, removable stickers. 3. ) Dishwasher or Microwave Safe Notations are not noted on undersides – as on all my previous dish ware. 4. ) Corn Dishes are roomy & nicely shaped – but do to not stack securely.

I thought Filigree had a shiny white finish, but these corn dishes were a matte off-white /cream color finish. Disappointed they do not match my other dishes, but not worth paying shipping to return.

I bought this a while ago, and kept it in the freezer almost forgetting it was there. I’m so glad we brought this home. It has lovely flavor, but has no spice/heat despite stating mild. It held up very well with cooking and it felt like the butter was freshly added to the corn, corn was grilled with good amount of charing.

The cheese melted perfectly adding traditional taste and zest. I would definitely buy this product again.

This is delicious! We have a food truck here that sells the real deal, and while this version of it isn’t better than the food truck, it definitely satisfies that Mexican Street Corn craving! It’s not super spicy, so don’t worry about that.

I did add some Tajin b/c I like that extra kick it brings. Will definitely be repurchasing!.

I usually like Alexia foods, so when I saw this at the store I bought three. I ate the first one yesterday. It tasted just like I had opened a can of corn and heated it up. If there were other flavors, I didn’t notice because the taste of canned corn was so overwhelming.

I’ll be throwing the other two boxes out. I was so disappointed. This is the first Alexia product I’ve tried that is a big FAIL.

This corn is terrible. Every kernel is deflated like it’s been pressed with a weight. I ordered several cans and I have found chunks of husk and or cob in each can and the flavor is kind of funky. The saddest part about this is that this is the replacement for the Market Pantry brand which was really good corn.

I will spend extra next time to purchase a name brand version.

This corn is actually sweet. No lie. Unlike other big brands that claim “sweet corn” Will definitely buy again.

The taste and quality is very good. First time trying it and was happy.
