Bought 3 gals of this product about 6 weeks ago only to discover it was over-diluted. only after adding it to my vehicle. Out of curiosity, I thought I’d check the protectant level from one of the coolant containers ‘directly’ from the container itself.
I was shocked to find only 3 balls, with a 4th one hovering. Again, this was a freshly opened, Peak 50/50 Pre-Diluted check, right from its original container! Sadly after discovering this, I had to go right out and buy an additional gallon of Dexcon concentrate, which I hope will provide enough viscosity to strengthen my protection level.
None of this stuff is inexpensive. If buying a pre-diluted mixture is going to start becoming a norm w manufacturers, you need to keep in mind that there will always be water residue left in the engine after flushing, meaning this will further dilute coolant mixture when refilling.
With this said, I think it wise that Peak should sell their Pre-Diluted mixtures to maximum protection levels (-50ish).
I went in to solve my low antifreeze issue on my 2018 Ford F-350 Limited Diesel. I was happy to see that Auto Zone carried PEAK OET Antifreeze premixed Orange 50/50 one gallon that was ready to use directly into the storage tank system; So No Mixing Needed.
A 46 year old Trusted Name Brand Product made by Old World Industries! *So put Your Mind At Ease*.
The knowledgeable staff is the most important reason I am a regular customer! The young lady not only looked up the correct antifreeze recommended for my car, she directed me to the store shelf to get it, and recommended that I purchase an inexpensive funnel to put the antifreeze in the reservoir much easier.
As a recent widow, she’s just who I need to help keep my car on the road. Well done!!!.
Winter driving has its own unique problems. Eliminate one of them with HEET Gas-Line Antifreeze and have one less thing to worry about. You can turn those early morning, cold weather starts into “no problem” situations.
And, not only does it prevent gas-line freeze up, it also prevents rust and corrosion, so the only thing in your vehicle’s gas-line will be gas. Pick up a couple of bottles of HEET Gas-Line Antifreeze and make it your engine’s friend for life.
As far as I can figure, this stuff works fairly well. I got 2 gallons at HEB South Shore in League City Texas and within 2 minutes, engine was intermittently shutting off. This HEET has all but eliminated the engine stall.
I’ll dump another bottle in it tomorrow in hopes of it solving the issue.
My old truck runs great. It was running great until I filled up at the local super station (speed something or other). Within 10 minutes, it was sputtering everytime I pressed the gas pedal and dying everytime I had to stop the truck.
I am betting there was water in the gas as it wasn’t but two days later that EVERY pump handle at that place had a bag over it. One bottle of HEET later and all was well with my Little Red Truck. I also use HEET in my lawnmower gas can which sits outside under a cover beside my porch.
I try to remember to use a bottle of HEET in the truck at least once a month. It works for me.
I used this for V6 engine before and I didn’t see much of power loss. With 4 cyl my car experienced a significant power loss and I had to buy Lucas product at Walmart to clean the fuel system. Basically, to pay $ x5 time more to fix the mess.
What is FEET? It’s kerosene which some gas stations will sell to you for 1 Gallon for the same price you are paying for a little bottle.
Toyota Genuine Parts long life coolant is the exact original equipment manufacturer (OEM) fluid that your vehicle came with. When you select a genuine OEM fluid. You can rely on the high quality and effectiveness of the product and brand without having to guess if the product will work in sequence with your vehicle.
Protecting your investment is important and choosing the right fluids can be challenging. So dont risk another minute by searching and buying something that might work. Stick with what you know and choose genuine OEM fluids.
Its OEM factory engine coolant. It’s exactly what is supposed to be in there. And its oem extra extended life and what’s been in there for 16 years and no build up crud and only needed to replace radiator cap and everything is perfect.
No corrosion no rust no sludge. Looked just like what I was replacing which had been changed by previous Owner before I bought it.
I feel that Toyota got it right the first time and I don’t want to change anything. That’s why I feel OEM is the way to go. This is the antifreeze that came in the car when I bought it. It has served me well and I what to give it the best care I can.
A premium prestone antifreeze/coolant change begins with prestone super radiator flush. Helps remove rust deposits and oily residue in easy, one-step process. Premium formulation maximizes cooling system efficiency by helping flush out harmful rust deposits, grease and oily residue.
Uses a strong chelating compound to bind rust and other corrosion deposits to help flush them out of the system prior to installing new antifreeze. Detergents emulsify oily residues. Super radiator flush is intended for cars with heavier build ups of rust and radiator and heater core deposits.
This is for a 3 gallon cooling system so if you’re looking to clean out more you might need more or a bigger concentration. However I put this in my vehicle since the old coolant is getting ineffective at it’s job and I wanted to swap it for new coolant and antifreeze.
It’s cleaned out several deposits and broken down several things I didn’t even know was in my radiator. After doing what I call a super flush, the radiator is cleaner than ever and all thanks to this product for helping me with it.
My first treatment, I squeezed my coolant loop lines to return some coolant to the reservoir and make some room in the radiator. I added the Prestone Radiator Flush and Cleaner topping off the radiator and added the rest to the reservoir.
Making sure to not go over the max fill line. Drove the car for 3 days putting about 4hours average on each drive with the heater going full blast. Then I drained it and rinsed it with one gallon of distilled water.
After that I filled up the radiator with the cleaner and added approx 3 gallons of distilled water into the system. And filled up the reservoir with distilled water. Drove for 3 hours with the heater on full, then drained the system shortly afterwards(Once it was cooled down).
More contaminants and debris fell out. Continued to rinse the system till there wasn’t much coming contamination and just looked like murky water. Drained the reservoir and filled everything up to spec.
My temperature needle seemed to creep higher and higher over the last 12 months. I replaced the engine coolant temperature sensor and there was no change. I flushed out the cooling system with residential water and added new Dex-Cool antifreeze and still no change was observed.
I added one bottle of this flush along with residential water and drove around for two weeks in the summer (I would not do this in the winter- no antifreeze protection). The gauge read a low temperature on the gauge I had not seen on this car for at least 10 years ago (when I replaced the radiator).
My Flush & Clean procedure includes a pre-pre-flush with water only to flush all loose contaminants and old fluid out. Then I use 2 x 22 oz bottles of this stuff and top off with 0 ppm, RODI water, and follow the long procedure.
I run/drive it for 2 hours a day x 3 days. Prestone Flush and Clean does its thing, which is to clean the ever-lovin’ snot out of my cooling system. After 3 days of PRE-flush, I then flush the entire system WITH the radiator in, and then, remove the thermostat, run the engine, and flush again until clear (always with RO DI water).
Then I inspect with a borescope. IF clean, I install a NEW thermostat and o-ring, and fill with 1/2 capacity of Valvoline G-05. IF the system is NOT clean to my standards, (never happened yet), I would do a SECOND Flush & Clean with 2 bottles with the thermostat OUT, and run at high idle until clean.
Drain, and flush with RODI until sample is clear. then as above.
Hercules Cryo-Tek AG Antifreeze is formulated for use in closed loop hydronic heating and cooling systems. It can also be used in radiant tube heating systems, most solar heating systems and geothermal loops.
This Cryo-Tek is perfect, I have a hydro air system that is split 5 ways. The water used to get filthy after 2 years so I had to change it. I introduced this product into the system about 2 years ago and went down to bleed out the air this weekend and was shocked at how clear the mixture was needless to say I bled the system and walked away happy.
I introduced it for freeze protection which of course is paramount, but was pleasantly surprised at the “sanitizing” capabilities of it. I would definitely recommend it.
I made a DIY Geothermal system for my small greenhouse. I needed some “Coolant” to fill the system with and this is about the Only thing you can use safely with 500 feet of underground tubing. And the only thing reviewers recommend.
I did underestimate how much coolant I would need. I calculated the gallons in the line but completely spaced the heat exchanger and reserve pressure tank. head slap. SO I am no going to add more. And lose diluted fluid in the line.
I have two Amana HTM High Efficiency furnaces made in the 1980’s that I maintain in tip-top condition. These furnaces heat a 50% Propylene Glycol water solution that provides both whole house heating and hot water heating, I replace the solution every five years and I have been using Hercules Cyro-Tek-100 Propylene Glycol for 15 years now.
It is long lasting, contains a corrosion inhibitor and is cost effective. I would highly recommend this product for any heat transfer system.

This product gets good reviews so I thought I’d try it. It has been a few years since I did an antifreeze change in my truck and I simply forgot that I needed full strength antifreeze and not this. The V-6 engine called for almost 3 gallons so I ordered and got three.
Where my memory failed me, was that you can typically drain the radiator from a petcock and drain HALF the antifreeze. After flushing with water (heat engine, drain repeat) you have very dilute antifreeze trapped in the engine block, in my case roughly 12%.
If you top off the radiator with 50/50, your antifreeze is nowhere near the 50% solution recommended. There are supposedly drain plugs for the engine, but not part of the “handyman’s” normal antifreeze change.
Perhaps if you want to pay a pro to do this, the 50/50 would be the chosen product. In my case, I needed a gallon of full strength antifreeze since what was trapped in the engine had been diluted by flushing with water.
I have not yet checked the solution with a hydrometer, but my understanding proportional math tells me I’m very close to a 50% solution at the end of my effort.
I was driving home one night and all of sudden I was losing pressure in the gas pedal and I didn’t know what was happening. Finally the water/coolant light came on but immediately went back out so I knew that it needed water.
I stopped and then saw that it was smoking. I bought two gallons of water and use a gallon and a half of them. I then put in the Peak Coolant and it started back driving like it should. No more hesitation.
The store I stopped at that night had only one coolant and I took that as a blessing and sign from God.
Don’t laugh, I’m the only one allowed to laugh. So it was freezing and raining and my heater wouldn’t work. Well, how exactly I was so low on coolant is beyond me, but that is why the heater wasn’t working.
I know a bit about cars, but not everything. So while I was letting the truck was cooling off, I did some research. Yes, low coolant causes you not only to overheat but also for your heater not to work.
Lesson learned! Thanks Peak, you saved my behind!.

We always use the Prestone brand coolant in our vehicles, have for years and years. It always preforms beautifully! We also always use the concentrate. Why would you pay for half a jug of water? It’s not that much harder to use.
Great stuff from a brand we’ve trusted for over 50 years.

Used on my my 2006 Chevy Trailblazer after replacing water pump and thermostat. This concentrate makes two gals at 50/50 mix. IMPORTANT: Remember to always mix with distilled water. Label any containers with name of content with 50/50 and date on container.
Do Not Use Tap Water to mix. Tap water contains corrosive elements that will eat away at your internal cooling system over time.
Good price on the Prestone brand!! This is the newer antifreeze (OAT). Dex-Cool is specified by GM, Ford and Chrysler (and maybe some imports). I have several vehicles that use this formulation. They say it is long life, but I am “old school” and test it a couple of times a year and change it every other.
My 2005 Pontiac GTO, after 17 years decided it was time for a new radiator. Having an auto parts store close by with the right tools and product helped me complete my time quicker and easier. Dex-Cool is required in the LS2 engines and finding that along with a quality low profile catch pan made my replacement pretty easy.

I have a 1992 Ford Econoline E1 50. The water pump I believe was leaking and causing it to overheat. I changed out the water pump as well as the thermostat to be on the safe side even though I change the thermostat this past winter.
I also had to put cockpit him in order to drain the radiator, as the old one is no good. I emptied the fluids out of the radiator took everything apart put the water pump on make sure it was sealed and I put the thermostat in made sure it was sealed put everything back together and put the radiator fluid back in.
Prior to the new radiator fluid I had flushed the entire system clean. After putting the new fluid in I topped it off with the radiator fluid. Drove the van around for sometime also make sure there was no leaks and I noticed as well that my temperature gauge was going up for the first time since I bought the vehicle used.
The week before that I changed out all the spark plugs on the vehicle and gave it a tuneup which included the wires cap roter. Everything seems good now, but will know more when we pull the trailer down.
I’m kinda doing this jokingly. It’s antifreeze, if you need a review before purchasing it you shouldn’t be putting it in your vehicle. Just my opinion. It goes in the radiator thingy and keeps the loud under the hood thingy from overheating or freezing, hence the name.
Water will work for overheating but why use it when the antifreeze will cover both aspects. I bought the 50/50 so no adding water was needed just pour it in and go. To little isn’t good and to much isn’tgood either.
Use that Google thingy on your phone to find out the proper amount or most cars now have cold and hot fill lines. It’s the best darn antifreeze I ever purchased!.
This brand of antifreeze has been good to me, but I believe my Hemi doesn’t love it. For my Chevy Trucks it has no problem and it won’t overheat but for my Ram it begins to overheat and not want to cool down.
Yes, the thermostat, hosing, radiator and other parts have been replaced but it still overheats. I finally changed over to Zerex and it didn’t give me the issue anymore. So be cautious and if you have a Chrysler vehicle, I would skip this brand because of how picky their cars can be.
Recommended and formulated for use in all vehicles that require Dex-Cool coolant. Also for use with cars and light duty trucks with aluminum radiators using extended life coolant. Blend of premium long-lasting inhibitors provides extended performance.
Protects against temperature extremes and the ravages of rust and corrosion. Good for 5 years or 150,000 miles. Prestone Dex-Cool Extended Life AntifreezeCoolant (5050) is recommended and formulated for use in all vehicles that require Dex-Cool coolant, with the featured factory-fill blend used by major automotive manufacturers 50 percent antifreeze concentrate for temperature and corrosion protection and 50 percent water for vital heat transfer.
Good for 5 years or 150,000 miles. This patented formula has a concentrated blend of premium long-lasting inhibitors for extended performance, protecting against temperature extremes and the ravages of rust and corrosion.
My coolant was about 2 qts low in my late model camaro ss. I got a check engine code for low coolant. I noticed in the owners manual that the design of the cooling system allows for significant evaporation.
Adding the oragne dex-cool coolant cleared the code and all is well.
Liked how the chemicals were safe and balanced for the type of radiator and tolerances for the engine and transmission. Don’t like how fast they want product reviews. How can anyone review a product as soon as it’s been purchased? You haven’t had time to see if it works.
PEAK Original Equipment Technology Antifreeze + Coolant for Asian Vehicles is a line of premium coolants specifically designed to match the technology and color requirements of Asian vehicles. I’ve never owned an Asian vehicle before so when I went to get my oil changed and they said they couldn’t give me coolant I was confused. After looking it up, I had no idea there were different coolants I thought the color was just for looks.
I read online that this product was just as good if not better than the Toyota Super Long Life Coolant, so I went down to my local AutoZone and grabbed one. It’s actually came in handy more than a few times, I initially got it because I was low on my inverter coolant – but than I learned about the radiator coolant reservoir and a few chugs later I’m finally good as new.
I also had my transmission fluid changed and apparently they flushed my inverter coolant and failed to fill it up. like at all. My stepdad has also used it for his non-Asian vehicles in a pinch, so for a coolant it’s worked great for all my needs and emergencies.
Seems like the same colour, haven’t noticed any solids or issues been pretty happy with it.
This product is exactly what the label says. I used it and experienced no trouble. My car was leaking coolant, so I needed extra jugs of it around. I’m going through coolant very quick, and I purchased this brand twice in a row already.
I think I will go back for another jug of coolant, from Auto Zone, when I need it, which will be a little too soon. But I do believe this is adequate coolant for my vehicle. Sadly, I need so much of it.
Hopefully my car will soon be properly assessed and repaired.

The label won’t state whether this is a G12++ or G13. However, after researching the formula for each type of coolant, this would resemble a G12++. This can be MIXED with G13. Only use this to top off the coolant reservoir, only if the reservoir already contains G13.
Do not use to fill in the reservoir. Said otherwise, do not let the coolant reservoir only contain this type of coolant. ) if you mix it with the G13 already in the reservoir you won’t have any issues.
At the next coolant flush/service make sure to only use G13 to fill in the reservoir.
This brand is the exact OEM replacement for Honda. It comes premixed so there is no fuss. Just fill and go. Pricing is better than buying OEM Honda antifreeze from the dealer. And this is the exact stuff.
Never use anything but what the factory recommends for antifreeze. Like those Prestone and such that claim all compatible. Damaged my cooling system doing that.
It is my understanding that Asian vehicles require special antifreeze because they are made with aluminum components. Most of the newer antifreezes advertise compatabiliy with every car. I went with this antifreeze because it specifically saed it was for Honda cars.
My antifreeze was low. It seems to work well. No complaints.

Driving from Florida to Chicago, my coolant warning came on. Pulled off and was directed to this store. INCREDIBLE kind service to help me find product I needed, also topped off and spent time asking questions so that I was comfortable continuing my trip.
Really made me feel secure & safe. After I got north, had dealership check car and it appeared to be a faulty sensor. Thanks for keeping a woman traveling alone feeling safe. THE BEST!.
I have to say that i was pleasantly surprised that it was moderately priced (for an Audi compatible product) and the most psychedelic hot pink I have ever seen. eye candy for sure. Not for use with dogs, European or otherwise.
I’ve been searching for partivular Antifreeze for my vehicle to buy instore. Yes, I could have purchased online. I would rather go into the store to purchase & look around for my other car needa. It was my first time ever in a Aurozone store.

I’m handicap my car needed antifreeze, it was cold and raining when I went to AutoZone but I had no problems. The man that sold me the antifreeze walked me to my car showed me where to put the antifreeze and then let me sit in my car while he put the antifreeze in my vehicle.
I can’t express how appreciative I was for the help. As soon as the antifreeze was put into my car it warmed up and I’ve had no more troubles.
As always, Auto Zone had the exact product for my specific vehicle. My truck is an oddball in the Chevrolet family but the anti-freeze/coolant offered by Auto Zone matched OEM specifications perfectly.
My truck kept over heating in the MS heat. Well I drained all the old coolant and replaced with this dex-cool coolant and it’s been operating at a cooler temp. Hasn’t overheated or had any issues. And the team at AutoZone was just as nice as could be and helped get me back in the road.

My heat stopped working in my truck, I notice that the coolant level was low. Bought this antifreeze that is already mid and dumped it into the burp tank. Now my truck heater is breathing fire again on cold days.
This was the best stuff I found to meet my Foresters coolant needs. A bit cheaper than the OEM fluid. Though I did still purchase the Subaru conditioning agent as well. Note: Subaru has a TSB which effectively indicates the type of fluid needed, then they reference to only use Subaru OEM fluid, and to only use any other fluid if in a pinch.
This meets their requirements for up to 2007 (I believe), before they changed to the blue stuff.
Happy New Engine Cooling. Over time, your Jeep’s thermostat housing can become furred up or damaged, leading to poor performance of the thermostat and the overall engine cooling system. I had an overheating issue with the old thermostat. This one definitely corrected the problem. Seems to run a lot cooler and definitely feel the difference while driving. Mine did not come with a gasket though.
Old housing leaked at the little plug screwed in the side. I figured changing the o-ring on a 7 year old brittle piece of garbage plastic part, would not end well. So i bought this brand new piece of plastic garbage, and swapped it out.
So far it’s great, and at least I should get 7 years out of it?.
I had issues not reaching temp and low heat. Coolant temps ran about 170ish. Took 20 mins to install. Didn’t even drain system, put a aluminum disposable tray under it housing and hose and reused the little bit I lost.
(As soon as hose is off bend it so that the end sits higher than the radiator. ) Coolant temps normal after install.

This was the only engine coolant that is approved for my Mazda 3 2. 3l, all others have silicate, borate, nitrite. So it was the closes to me and in walking distance from my house, (sprang a leak) fixed it this weekend, I saved as much of the old coolant (funds were low).
I purchased this product after doing some research on getting the right kind of antifreeze for my Nissan altima. And it came up as I was looking for information about this that this product is close to oem for Nissan that you can get from a parts store.
Just installed in my 2004 Honda Accord. It’s too early to tell how well it will work, but all reviews and test results posted online state that it is the same formulation as found in the OEM radiator fluid.
Also, it’s blue, which is the same color as OEM. Made in USA.
There are a few different ways to conclude the coolant for your Jeep Wrangler. You can either do a complete flush of the system and replace all of the coolant, or you can do a partial flush and replace just a portion of the coolant.
You can also do a chemical flush of the system, which will clean out the coolant without having to replace it.
