Some people may prefer a lower sensitivity so they have more control over their movements, while others may go for a higher sensitivity to be able to make quicker movements and reactions. Ultimately, it comes down to what feels most comfortable and natural for the player, and what gives them the best results in-game.

I got thjis because my xbone controller was squeaky, and the others in chat could hear it, the ps4 controller was better but i only have one, so would have to fudge around pairing and re-pairing. This controller can be paired with several devices, and you specify how you are conecting when turning it on.
Has great battery life, and there are back buttons which can be programmed for other features or as an alternative access to the letters/shape buttons, great gor when you have to move and control a view at the same time, as i only have regular human thumbs, and up to 3 stupid bludging fingers on each side behind the controller doing nothing.
So they can be put to work too. Pairing is easy, the lights are a bit much sometimes, and I havent figured out how to turn them off when the thing is charging plugged into my pc. I’m fairly sure you can turn them off.
Unsure if you can turn the “which player” indicator off tho. The picture doesnt really show it, but the thing is smokey transparent and the near blue glow under the right thumbstick is actually more like half the unit lit up when its on.
tbh I’d have wanted the stick itself to have a light under it shining onto the unit mushroom style, but then this is an affordable unit so that’s probably why. Overall, look no further, this is the controller you want.
Bought in late March this year, started getting rather bad right-ward drift in the right stick a couple of days ago. Still good for most purposes, unusable for others. Rear buttons are more of a hinderance than a help, but mostly only when picking it up and putting it down once you get used to them existing.
Quite possibly the most ergonomic controller I’ve used (plus or minus joycons, which have a full l/r split, which is a Huge advantage). Works as well as any other controller I’ve had reason to use on linux, save that, at least with my set up, plugging in or unplugging the dongle while the PC is on will cause the PC to lock up (not an issue I’ve ever had with wired controllers, never used another wireless controller with a pc to compare it to).
A good controller with a nice light feel and responsive controls. My only gripe with this is that M1/M2 buttons on the bottom and the X Y buttons seem to be linked together rather than separate bindables.

Even after charging overnight the battery drops to 75% within minutes of turning on and then 50% within half an hour. So much for 40 hour battery life. Works fine on Windows with the attached dongle however it does have a slight lag when used with an iPad mini (iPadOS 15.
2. 1) but it’s the iPhone 13 Pro (iOS 15. 2. 1) that has the most issues. Random phantom inputs with the right joystick and then sometimes doesn’t recognise XYAB inputs. Have tried resetting the Bluetooth, the phone and the controller but doesn’t seem to fix it.
I bought it because of all the rave reviews but I wish I’d have gone for a Series X controller instead. Have owned it for a week.
In PC mode, there is zero support for vibration or the gyroscope, and the shoulder throttles (L2 / R2) are on/off rather than analog. Also the spring for R2 (which returns it to “unpressed” when you release your finger) broke after 3 months of moderate use.
My Logitech F310 was cheaper, actually does everything it claims to, and all the buttons still work 3 years later. I will never buy another Gamesir product.

Reviews From Real Customers
The Nimbus+ is terrible for any modern M1 Apple product, and you definitely SHOULD NOT buy it! They currently ship with outdated firmware. The only way to update that firmware is via the SteelSeries GG application, which must be installed on an Apple computer running macOS.
There’s a huge problem: Apple computers using M1 chips won’t recognize the controller via the SteelSeries GG app. So it’s impossible to update the firmware. Here’s the thing, though. M1-based Apple computers and the development kits for these ARM processors have been out for TWO YEARS.
And here I sit with two plastic bricks that don’t work. What makes matters even worse is that the Nimbus+ is specifically designed and exclusively for Apple iOS, tvOS, and macOS products. So how in the world does SteelSeries manage NOT to have this functioning yet?? I do NOT believe these other reviews and reviewers giving this product 5-stars.
There is just no way those other reviews are realistic. I spent about two hours troubleshooting to get the controller detected in the SteelSeries GG application using the instructions provided by SteelSeries, and nothing worked.
I have a 2021 Apple iMac and a 2022 Apple MacBook Air. Both computers work perfectly and both have M1 chips. Lastly, and most importantly: The SteelSeries GG application wants permission to log all of your KEYSTROKES on all applications.
Are you even kidding me? Do you want me to send all my passwords and banking details to SteelSeries for a silly video game controller? I think not. The Nimbus+ is ZERO stars. SteelSeries is ZERO stars.
I’ll never repurchase another one of these products.
When I first opened the box, I felt like I was unpacking the golden egg. The packing materials were well-designed for the device and the box serves well as a storage case when the controller is not in use.
I was surprised not to see a cable until I realized that it uses a standard lightning cable of which I have boxes! My only gripe about the cable situation is that it doesn’t fit as snugly into the charging port as I would like.
Anyway, I was excited to see that there was already a charge on the controller right out of the box because I was ready to start playing! The battery indicator on the top of the controller keeps me informed of so I don’t run out of juice at an inopportune moment during gameplay.
Bluetooth connectivity is very straightforward. The A/B/X/Y buttons have a nice click to them so you can actually feel when you’ve made a selection. The D-pad is also quite clicky. The phone mount fits my iPhone 12 nicely without causing any damage to the case and folds away conveniently for storage into my backpack to save space.
When playing with my iPad, I just use my iPad’s desk stand. The Nimbus+ hand grip is ergonomic and the weight is balanced, allowing for long game play. Play is responsive and I have had zero connectivity issues, even after hours of use.
The buttons have a familiar layout and I especially like the four-way directional pad versus the round option (it is easier to navigate blindly). In a perfect world, the controller would have a rumble feature.
Also, the website boasts fifty. hours of gameplay on a single charge, but I’ve been getting closer to forty which is plenty for me, especially when it means not having to use “AA” batteries. Overall, this controller is durable, has a good weight, has a nice click-feel, connects easily, and has stable connectivity.
Steel Series Nimbus plus is awesome , as it is specifically designed for the Apple products , especially when it runs so smooth with my iphone or ipad , or Apple tv. the design stand outs from with straight lines.
It will have d pad on the left , keys on the right , option , menu and home button on the center. IT do has very fluid motion sensors and button are vey nice and clicky and they don’t have lot of movement in them , rather have a very good click as they actually depressed.
The trigger also provide the bit of physical feedback while you are playing games now. However there are some odd inconsistencies with certain games , like you notice Square and an X versus X and an A , but that’s more on the game developer rather on the controller themselves.
The joystick also does not seems to have any dead kind of zone. It feels really robust gaming controller for IOS MAC or Apple TV. It charges with the lighting cable , you have to use your phone one ,as it does not comes with the one.
As far I know , it can run upto 50 hours of gameplay , which I not tested myself but its good to have the better battery life , again Its lot convenient to charge rather carry the AA battery every time.
You can pair it via the pairing button in front of the controller. This steel series nimbus plus also comes with the iphone expandable mount. I do wish that the rails inside the mounts are of the steel but those comes with Plastic , however they do feel very strong and rigid.
Its good that you don’t have to pay separately for the mount , rather it comes included in the box. You can slide your iphone it and it works Without shaking. It is the best way to play the apple arcade games , no lags , just fluid over Bluetooth as well.
I think its the huge improvement over the previous version and I would recommend definitely recommend this product.

do me a favor i have buying stuff from this best buy over 13 years. i wan to clear a issue here where this game need to have a full subscription with xbox its say mobile because use mobile to play games and for use with android phone and go with CALL OF DUTY IT NOT WORK I TRY CONECT THIS MANY HOURS AND NOTHING I CONTACT THE POWER A AND THIS IS THEIR ANSWER I SHEARE WITH YOU CLIENTS BEST BUY Thank you for contacting PowerA! We would love for every game to be MOGA-Enhanced.
Unfortunately, it’s not our call. We seek developers to include MOGA enhancement into their games, but it’s ultimately up to the developer if they wish to do so. If you have a game in mind that you would like to be MOGA-Enhanced, contact the developer and voice your interest.
In the meantime, check out our growing library of MOGA-Enhanced games here I AM SO SAD THAT I NEED TO RETURN THIS CONTROLLER AND CONTINIUE PLAYING WITH MY FINGERS AND ALSO IS BETTER LEAVE PHONES FOR CALL AND TEXT THAN GAMING ALL THAT APPS ARE STILLING AND SELLING INFO.
SO DONT BUY IT IF YOU PLAN TO PLAY CALL OF DUTY WITH THIS. IF YOU HAVE XBOX SUBSCRIPTION 9. 99 A MONTH. FOR FULL USE. THEM ENJOY NOT FOR ME.
Don’t know how they are getting great reviews. I purchased expecting to be able to use it to play COD, it had everything I wanted. A stand for the phone, the controller, even a power bank! I was impressed, especially since the packaging falsely advertises its versatility, making it out to seem like it will work with any mobile game.
In reality, it only works for Xbox game pass games. So not only do you spend $70 on the controller, but the only thing you can do with said controller, costs $14. 99 a month to use. Very disappointed, I am returning tomorrow as soon as my local walmart’s returns department is opened.
Then I’m going to purchase a ps5 controller, even though I don’t have a ps5. This was my last straw for Xbox products. Either get on the ball and make a partnership with the game creators and their companies or dont even bother trying.
Pointless and useless till it can connect to other games. Especially COD Mobile.
Unlike most people, I didn’t buy this to game stream Xbox games from my Xbox to my phone. Instead, I bought this to play emulator games (SNES and PlayStation mostly) and play some mobile phone games like Levelhead, Final Fantasy mobile ports, and stuff.
My review is based on that experience, although I’m sure it does just fine with game streaming as well (remember, you need an Xbox to game stream Xbox games. Your Xbox plays them and streams them over your local network to your phone).
Pros 1. Good feel. It feels a bit smaller than an Xbox One controller but not in a bad way. Good heft without being heavy. Grippy textures along the back make it easy to hold. 2. Joysticks have a satisfying amoung grip and the buttons have a satisfying amount of click.
This isn’t like the cheap Bluetooth controllers from 5-6 years ago where the triggers were spongy and difficult to use. 3. The phone clamp holds my Galaxy Note 20 Ultra (no small feat) without wobbling.
However, you do need to make sure you tighten the clamp well after putting your phone in. 4. Having a wired mode is nice. 5. Easy to connect via Bluetooth. It also connects very quickly after the initial pairing.
6. Came with plenty of cables and instructions to make sure everything works right. 7. My emulators (SuperRetro16, John NESS, and ePSXe) recognized it immediately (although I had to manually set it up in John NESS and ePSXe).
8. So did my controller-compatible Android games. 9. Best Buy price matched *that other company* so I got this for $15 off. 10. There is a battery checker button along the bottom that lets you see how much battery you have left (four indicator lights).
It’s nice. 11. There is also a 3000mAh integrated battery bank. If you don’t use it (which I don’t have any intention to), that gives this thing ridiculous battery life. I played Super Metroid for 3 hours yesterday and it was 2 out of 4 lights when I started as well as ended.
Neutral 1. This apparently works as an Xbox controller too. I haven not tested that functionality so I can’t comment on that. 2. I have yet to find a use for the two extra buttons on the back of the controller.
My emulators don’t seem to recognize them and neither do my games. I may need to look more into it as I am all but certain it is user error. Cons 1. The phone clamp is made out of plastic and I am terrified that I’m gonna break it snapping it on and off the controller.
Additionally, the tightening “bolts/screws” are also plastic and I am terrified I’m going to break it when I tighten it. I wish, especially for the price, that the phone holder clamp was of higher quality.
2. The D-Pad can be slightly spongy. It’s not NEARLY as bad as the ones that used to be “bad”, but compared to the pristine, sharp, immediate clicks of an Xbox Series X/S controller, this one is definitely a step down.
3. I don’t know when this thing was launched, but USB-C has been a thing for a very long time now and it’s always disappointing to see a micro-USB plug these days. Overall, I’m very happy with my purchase.
I was tickled to death that my emulators were so easy to set up with this thing (SuperRetro16 didn’t even require setup, it had everything right out of the gate). The phone clamp, despite being cheap, does its job well (for now, we’ll see long term).
It’s a tad pricey, but honestly, with how enjoyable the experience has been, I don’t regret my purchase at all. Plus, if it does actually work as an Xbox controller (and it seems like it does), then it’s nice to have a third backup controller just in case.
Fully recommended. Also, Best Buy sells this one and one branded with “Samsung”. They are both PowerA MOGA XP5-X+ (or XP5-X Plus depending on how you search for it) and there doesn’t seem to be any difference between the two as far as I can tell despite having a different SKU for some reason.

I have the updated and latest 1. 04/10. 5 RazerEurope(Imported) Model of the RaijuTE, so my review will be based on that, the previous model (1. 01 or latest firmware 1. 03) has a number of reported issues you can easily google.
Razer does not officially sell ANY Ps4 controllers in the United States, the Official Liscense was either pulled or ran out and wasn’t renewed for American sale, be very aware of this when buying, and know that if you get an imported controller, you aren’t eligible for ANY warranty from Razer, warranty is for European based customers and only honored if bought from them or their authorized sellers(to my knowledge none are on eBay even if you do live in Europe, so don’t say I didn’t warn you.
) Now to review the actual controller, it’s a mixed bag. It’s by far my favorite Ps4 controller, and I own several other Razer controllers, as the comfort and control Razer brings has been unmatched for me.
Feels great in the hands, the tactile clicky buttons are amazing and sound so satisfying, and it is a fantastic WIRED option. I say WIRED in all caps, because the bluetooth connection on this thing is basically garbage, (which may or may not be the fault of Sony) and I’ll explain why, it’s not the most important thing in the world for this controller to be wireless, asanyone serious about game performance will opt for wired, but this controllers bluetooth is quite an experience.
In bluetooth mode, the controller frequently runs into delay and latency issues, dropped inputs or even double or a rare triple inputs registered. On top of that, you lose the built in audio jack while in bluetooth, it’s wired only.
So I really do mean it when I say this is a wired controller, the bluetooth issues are so prevalent in gameplay it’s just much simpler to run a 10ft cable to it than deal with the issues. I said this may or may not be Sony’s fault, because they’re dickheads and mandated all 3rd party wireless bluetooth controllers can’t have latency any faster than 12ms just to make their own controllers look better, but Razer also admitted that the bluetooth connection just plain sucks on these controllers in general so I’ll call it 50/50.
Speaking of cables, the included cable is only 6ft, so good luck sitting on the couch with that. I ordered a 10ft original Raiju Cable from Razer’s own replacement part store for $18. 99, and I reccomend anyone who buys this controller do the same for an enjoyable experience.
It uses a notched custom ended microUSB cable that locks in (as shown by me dangling it by the cord, it stays in firmly!) If you opt for anothermicro USB cable you may have to modify it before it’ll even fit.
This controller is also missing any kind of built in motion controlls(Sixaxis as Sony likes to call it) and a light bar, so immediately it can’t be used at all for PsVR, and exclusion of motion controlls makes it mandatory that you keep your Dualshock4 nearby incase a game has some form of motion controls in it.
In the Recently Released Persona5 Royal, there is a darts minigame that uses the motion controls and playing it is very helpful. It’s mind boggling that a premium controller that retails near $200 is missing a basic feature like this that makes some games unplayable without having a Dualshock4 handy, this COULD be incompetence from Razer, or Sony could have no motion controls as part of the official Liscense agreement they had.
The controller is marketed more towards competitive shooters than casual games, so I can’t really fault them too much, but it is a feature that is sometimes used and it sucks to have to switch controllers.
It’s good, gets the comfort and feel just right, but drops the ball and then trips over it down a flight of stairs. There’s probably a better PRO styled controller out there, but this one is good enough for me for the $100 I paid.
Very comfortable to hold for hours at a time. Good buttons not cheap feeling. No issues with either Bluetooth or USB connectivity. I initially got a different controller however it wasn’t able to fit my Galaxy S21 Ultra with the hard case on it.
This one I dont have an issue at all. Easy to pair on Bluetooth or run through USB C. Customizable profiles as well for emulators works great. Only bad thing is it doesn’t cook breakfast for me in the morning.
But I’m ok with that. I got it on a sale price so I feel it was worth the money. I get to play my steam library and geforce now games with no issues at all anywhere I’m at XBox game pass games as well.
There are some games that don’t have full controller support but that isn’t this controllers fault. Haven’t had issues with battery life on the control either. Seems to hold up pretty well. Been playing Witcher 3 all over again and I dont keep track of how many house I play but that game depends quite a lot of your time.
I’m a do every side quest before main storyline type of guy so I kill a lot of time and I havent had the battery run out on me yet. Just buy one. Might not fit Samsung Fold 2. Obviously. or can it?.
Pros: Very good controller, and had proved itself fantastically. Very durable all the buttons and paddles still work like new. The RGB lights is a very nice touch to finish it off. I cant forget about the app where you can customise everything.
And the interchangeable buttons gives you plenty of variety. Cons: Not really any bad points apart from it is very difficult to setup on pc if you are going to use it on pc. PS4/PS5 is very easily setup of course.
Greater Controls. Greater Gaming. MOGA XP5-X Plus Bluetooth Controller delivers the versatility to play games today and tomorrow on Android mobile, tablet, or PC wherever and however you like. Play Xbox games from the cloud with the familiarity of an Xbox style controller.
Includes detachable phone clip, integrated Power Bank, and mappable Advanced Gaming Buttons, plus cables to charge or play in wired mode.
Very solid for use with XCloud and games on mobile designed to work with a controller. Clips on easy, very sturdy, and the buttons feel good. The clip isn’t the easiest thing to take with you on the go, since its very oddly shaped and doesn’t fold up flat, so if you’re looking for something that you can put in a pocket to have a handheld gaming experience on the run its a little cumbersome, unless you have a bag or something that you can store the clip in.
Battery life is surprisingly good as well for something so small. I would not recommend for someone looking to do game streaming from your PC using Steamlink or an app like Parsec. For some odd reason, the PC does not read the controller inputs right, it gets several of the buttons swapped and can not seem to find the ‘resting’ position of the triggers.
The problem only occurs when streaming from a PC, and happens regardless of what mobile device I’m testing with. I believe it to most likely be a driver issue, but unfortunately driver support for this device is basically non-existent.
So to recap, yes for those looking to play games from Xcloud or games designed for mobile, no for anyone looking to use their mobile for game streaming from their PC.
Ive been using this controller exclusively with my switch for almost a month now, and to say the truth, I love it. Its well built, it doesn’t feel flimsy, plus its about the right size as an actual SNES controller (its a bit thicker, and a tad heftier on account of the added components – analogs, vibration, motion controls, bluetooth, extra buttons), but it does the job well.
This controller always syncs right up with my switch, and has a home button as well as a working capture button. However, it cannot wake the console up. Im not sure if this is due to the fact that its a third party device, or if there is some missing update, but i think thats the only flaw.
Now, mind you, im not a hard core gamer and I bought this because I enjoy retro gaming, and love the way it looks (plus the cheaper price point helped!). The battery has excellent life; I think it took around a week of playing for it to finally give out after the original charge I gave it.
It has some cons tho, the smaller size will cramp your hands after extended play (or at least they do mine), but by extended i mean over 3 hours, which is not usual for me. The motion controls seem on point, i tested them mainly on Zelda BOTW, and the analogs are precise enough, the vibration is NOT HD rumble.
Its a regular vibration like you would find on an xbox or playstation controller, but thats fine by me. It also does NOT have NFC, but really if you have a switch, the joycons already have NFC so this shouldnt be a real sticking point.
It includes a USB-C to A charge cable thats rated USB 2. 0. I would not recommend using it to charge your switch or to hook up your switch to your PC (as the switch wont recognize the cable properly), I left mine hooked up to my dock and use it strictly for charging the controller as it was intended.
I think the biggest pro for me on this controller is its size. It makes it very portable, and I can easily pop it into one of the pockets in my backpack with no bulging issues. It wont fit in my switch carry case, but i think thats also due to the fact that my carry case is quite compact (it barely fits the wrist straps and a USB-C cable.
All in all, I do highly recommend this controller. It is specially good for retro gaming, but will play well with most game types, and its much cheaper than the Switch Pro controller.
Pros: – Analog-sticks with buttons and trigger buttons expand compatibility to most game genres. – Bluetooth functionality is great with imperceptible delay, providing your device maintains a good Bluetooth connection.
– Can be used in wired mode via the provided USB cable for the lowest possible delay. – Buttons are affirmative and tactile with just the right amount of required force and little travel-time. – Jam packed with features and functionality, including rumble, motion controls and the ability to work with practically anything with a Bluetooth receiver or USB port.
– Good ergonomics and weight. – On-going firmware support via a Windows/Mac-OS application. – Long lasting battery charge. Cons: – Positioning of trigger buttons and analog-sticks may take getting some used to, particularly if you have larger hands.
– Tactility and feel of the buttons, while great, aren’t identical to the original SNES controller, which may be a concern for purists. – At 35-40, the price may be prohibitive but in my opinion, the price is certainly justified.
An absolute steal if you can find it on sale. Notes: The SF30 Pro is one of 3 variants of the same design, alongside the “SN30 Pro SN” and “SN30 Pro G Classic”. If you’d prefer a different look or are struggling to find a particularmodel in-stock, consider one of the others.

Great controls, easy setup, no lag, great build quality. But on an iPhone 13 and 13pro the camera bump doesn’t allow it to lie flat in the controller! I don’t see anyone discussing this but it’s damn annoying.

I wanted something simple, something i could take home and use right of the box. Something that felt comfortable in my hands, something I could use for a variety of games and I wanted something that will last.
The Stratus Duo is all of that and more. I honestly did not even need to read the instructions. I simply unboxed and powered on and it was ready to play. This controller fits snug in my hands,, not to small not too big.
I wear size L/XL gloves so if you have smaller hands this might or might not be the right fit for you. This controller is solid, I have dropped it a few times and no issues. Grabbed it with food on my hands and wiped it off with a damp clothe.
No issues. Range is great. I play up to 20 feet away from my screen and pc and no connectivity issues. I absolutely love this controller and you might just too.
I have had this controller for a while. It is a very good controller and the build qualilty is nice. I have recently started to notice a little bit of a stick drift but I have also had the controller for about a year or 2 now and from what I understand these things are common with any controller.
It does not have any vibration support so if that is something you desire I would recommend looking elsewhere. The battery life is stellar and there is zero lag when playing games (typical for SS). I personally like the layout where the 2 sticks are side-by-side it mimics the PS and switch controllers better.
It does have both USB and BT compatibility which is nice if you plan to swap between PC and phone.
I purchased this controller last night. From the get go I was a bit skeptical about it. but ended up purchasing it anyways. So I go home, open the box, plug in the adapter, pair everything. Everything is going great, smashing goals in Rocket Leage and all of sudden.
“Controller Disconnected” Okay. no problem, could be that it needed to charge. Nope. Problem continues to happen. I rock out with it for the night. Wake up and go to play some other games with it. The thing won’t even turn on at this point, so I plugged it in.
Nothing. Even plugged in my broken Xbox one Controller to see if it was the cable. That one works. Didn’t drop the Controller or anything like that. Guess it decided to go out with an early retirement.
ended up returning and bought another Xbox Controller. Problem solved. Maybe I have s*** for luck but to have this many problems with a brand new controller is not right.

My mom got it for me as a Christmas gift since I moved out and no longer had a console of my own. I love video games. The only game I could get it to work with was the mobile version of Minecraft. I played on it just last night with no issue.
This morning I plug it in get set up and it’s not working. I tried cleaning the cord part and the lighting port on my I phone and nothing. It’s still not working. I did some research and it says sometimes it just doesn’t connect.
But mine worked and now it’s not??? I’ve had just over a month. Barely. And now it doesn’t work. For almost $50 that is pure BS. idk what to do about it. I’m sad bc I literally just wanted to relax on my day off of work after having no single day off for 2 weeks straight.
I was excited to gift my other half this controller since he likes to play games on his phone. I figured it would be easier to use a controller than his fingers however, the games he likes to play are not compatible with this controller.
You have to download an app that has preset games. I wish I had known that. He gave the other games a try but it wasn’t for him. now it’s just collecting dust. bummer. I would highly recommend checking what games are on the app before buying the controller.
Other than that the controller is decent and the stand worked well.
This controller was purchased in late January, so any product revisions after that aren’t pertinent to this review. If you’re in the market for a well built gaming controller for a smartphone, this one seems to fit the bill.
Designed to plug into your phone’s type C USB port, it comes in two parts: a bracket to hold your phone, and the connective cord itself, which you can plug into your phone with or without the bracket.
Most newer smartphones will probably support this controller, but before purchase make sure you know what port your phone has. If a game has controller support you should be able to plug this one in and play away! The joysticks are fair for a smaller controller, and the size is smaller than a standard console controller, but it does have bumpers+rockers for L and R configurations, and a select-start type setup on the front.
The D pad is very nice, and though it doesn’t have a flat panel between cardinal directions like console controllers you do still have the ability for 8-way control with it. Clean the joysticks regularly to avoid the flaking problem most controllers with this type of material covering the sticks have.
The jet black Sony Fortnite Neo Versa Dualshock 4 Wireless Controller Bundle keeps its general design while making a couple of useful tweaks. Compared to the DualShock 3, this controller has improved dual analog sticks and trigger buttons offer precise control, and the capacitive touch pad provides a unique way of interacting with games.
The Share button also allows you to share your gameplay over social media. This version of the DualShock 4 includes a second, small light bar just above the touch pad, allowing players to check its color at a glance.
It also allows for data to be passed through its micro-USB port, rather than just power, letting you use it as both a traditional Bluetooth controller and as a wired one — for when wireless latency is slowing you down.
You’ll also get a code for exclusive Fortnite content, which includes the Epic Neo Versa outfit, the Epic Neo Phrenzy Back Bling, and 500 V-Bucks. Precision Control The feel, shape, and sensitivity of the DualShock 4’s analog sticks and trigger buttons offer players comfort and control for all games on the PlayStation 4.
Sharing at Your Fingertips Share your greatest gaming moments with just a push of the Share button. Upload gameplay videos and screenshots directly from your system, or livestream your gameplay, all without disturbing the game in progress.
Innovative Features The touch pad, integrated light bar, and built-in speaker offer exciting ways to experience and interact with your games. Furthermore, a 3. 5mm audio jack offers a practical personal audio solution for gamers who want to listen to their games in private.
Charge Efficiently Easily recharge the DualShock 4 Wireless Controller by plugging it into your PlayStation 4 system, even when on standby, or with any standard charger with a micro-USB port.
I have 11 DS4 controllers and all of them have drift or dead problem with L3 or R3. Sony always claims it’s abuse or normal wear and tear. I technically have 12 controllers. Other than the PCB it’s not really Factory and still works fine.
I repair just about anything with a circuit for a living. These things are engineered to fail or by someone who cares more about saving money then keeping customers happy. 1. The resistive film on the analog joysticks.
These have a reduced contact surface promoting wear. “With exception a few revisions I’ve seen have either multiple contact points on the wipers or just have slightly larger surfaces on them. ” (Why Analog contact media over Digital sensors, It beats me?) 2.
The Tactile switches are not designed for endurance. The L3 and R3 and will always wear prematurely. (They should use high endurance micro-switches like those found in most high end computer mice. ) 3.
Last but not least. These controllers come with an onboard CPU and yet lack any ability to auto calibrate? The Console itself should even compensate for jitter or centering/adjustments, but you don’t see it as an option anywhere? Now with some modern tech the DS5 has the same issues (and more) as far as wear and tear.
Final Thoughts: Battery tech has advanced leaps and bounds over the years and we are at the point we can put infrared digital joys in the controllers with next to zero impact on battery life or even use even lower powered solutions like magnetic field sensors(MFS) Hall Effect(HE)*.
This would increase reliability as no moving parts need to make physical contact inside the joys. Wear can be extended by using a bearings on the pivots/cage to keep the joystick center. *Some companies already do these methods and senors.
Getting a product licensed and approved to be used on their platform wouldn’t be in Sony’s best interest. Now Here is the Gotcha. As far as quality the PCBs are decent and great for modding. Price to Durability I would recommend a cheap offbrand controller as they most often have the same Joys across the board.
That said, remember you get what you pay for. Three $20 controllers will get you about 800-1000hours of vigorous use or one Branded DS4 for $60 can get you about 265~335 hours of vigorous use. Anyways, maybe someone finds this informative.
Initially it looked good, sturdy and reliable. But along the way, I experienced many issues with it: – the controller randomly switches off, in the middle of a game. And it can take several seconds before being able to switch it back on.
Quite infuriating to die in a game because the controller went off in my hands unexpectedly (and it’s not a matter of battery) – the left key (or stick maybe) getting pressed continuously when I don’t touch it.
Basically, it’s as if I was going left all the time. It requires to reset the controller, or the console, and hope for the controller to switch on without continuously going to the left this time. – the PS button appears to get blocked too often when pressed.
I need to rub it gently to unblock it. – When switching on the console with the controller, I need to switch on the controller a second time once the console is on. My previous controller remained on from the first press on the PS button.
My previous controller was a DualShock 4 v1, this is my first DS4 v2 controller. So maybe these issues are inherent to this new model? maybe I had a faulty controller?.
I honestly feel like I paid full price for a refurbished item. When I first opened the box the first thing I noticed was that the box didn’t have tape on the cover of the lid nor did it come with directions.
It came with a charge cord which I found very strange because most PS4 controllers DON’T come with a charger cord. You have to buy that separately, then I noticed how LIGHT the controller felt. It said PS4 on the buttons, but it didn’t FEEL heavy like the normal PS4 controllers feel when you get them with the console purchase.
The buttons felt extremely loose, especially the X button and the R1 and L1 buttons and NOW the X button is “sticking” and doesn’t always play right. Later when I looked at WHERE I’d purchased this controller from because I admit I didn’t check before pressing the “purchase button” it was from some THIRD PARTY SELLER THAT SOLD FOOTWEAR?????? And when you click on the seller’s site, it leads nowhere.
Next time I want to buy REAL electronics, I’ll go to Best Buy.

Has poor compatibility across all major AAA Android games. None of the following support Nacon MG-X pro: COD, Apex Legends, Genshin Impact In Windows doesn’t act like an xbox controller. So all of the Xbox guff on the box and marketing is nonsense.
It doesn’t act well as a Windows controller. Or at least its not plug and play to do so and I can’t find any drivers on the Nacon support. Some of this is clearly because Android controller support appears not great and largely game level implementation dependent.
However, that’s sort of the point. Why would you bother buying an expensive phone specific controller when the support is absolute garbage. From what I can tell this does one thing and only one thing, which is let you play STREAMING not mobile games via a more expensive Xbox Live subscription I dont have, and dont want to use wifi to game.
Also my box came absolutely crushed. But the product was otherwise intact inside, but thats definitely something for Nacon to worry about!.
I could go on for hours about how this controller is the best, but tl;dr: this baby is the winner. I’ve owned lots like it as a minor enthusiast, and this controller is definitely the winner. Mine is going to be the one in my bag for the foreseeable future.
To start with, those metallic rings around the thumb sticks are actually functional as anti-friction rings. That really surprised me. The triggers are smooth and noiseless, which is a superior feature.
The face buttons feel responsive, without being too noisy or clicky. The X button works just like it should on a controller. My large phone fits. The Bluetooth latency is no issue with game streaming as far as I can tell.
I love playing No Man’s Sky on Steam using Shadow Cloud PC with my Fold 3. I configured the game resolution to fill the entire screen area. Looks really good and immersive. Hardly any noticeable lag with NVidia DLAA.
Works on most android games that support controllers. Two issues, 1. No rumble or haptics, 2. No official or 3rd party carrying case.

The Backbone One is the first controller accessory I’ve ever had for my phone and I’m excited to share my thoughts about it with all of you. I’ll be using this with my iPhone 12 and reviewing it with several services, but specifically using PlayStation Remote Play.
I’ll be posting my overall impressions first in case you don’t want to read the entire thing. My overall experience with the Backbone One was a positive one. Other than it missing a hard case or the ability to fold down for a smaller travel footprint, the device is a completely solid, well-built, and essential accessory for anyone wanting to elevate their mobile gaming.
The ability to have actual physical controls for these games is a game changer and makes mobile gaming much more approachable for those used to PC and console gaming. If you’re looking for a premium gaming experience for your iPhone, look no further than the Backbone One.
Unboxing/Build Quality: Unboxing the Backbone One makes you feel like you’ve purchased a premium device. The box is made of a soft velvety material and the Backbone is packaged front and center in a minimalistic way.
You’ll get the Backbone One, an iPhone 13 Pro/Pro Max adapter, and a quick start card, along with safety instructions that you’ll probably never read. The device itself is light but solidly built. Once attached to your phone, it feels solid and like it’s a natural attachment for your iPhone.
The buttons and analog sticks feel good, the triggers are also decent, but could use a little more resistance in my opinion. The D-Pad is a little on the mushy side, but overall the controller is built very well and feels solid.
Anyone that has played on a PlayStation or Xbox controller will feel right at home with the layout. The only drawback I can see with the Backbone One in comparison with other units is the fact that it doesn’t fold up or come with a carrying case of any sort.
Traveling with the Backbone One might be a little bit challenging when not attached to a phone. I have a fear that I may end up breaking the back support of the unit if I were to cram it into a backpack during a flight without a proper hard case.
For the price, I think a case should have been included. Functionality/Ease of Use/Gameplay: The Backbone One is super easy to use. You’ll probably have to take the case off your phone to get the Backbone connected, but that’s pretty standard for devices like these.
Once you connect it to your phone, you’ll be asked to download the Backbone application from the App Store. Once downloaded you’ll be granted 1 year of Backbone Plus which gives you a bunch of benefits as an owner of the product.
None of these limit the ability to use the product but are niceties like access to a streamlined game hub, direct live streaming, and the ability to share gameplay and screenshots easily. You’ll also get some free benefits from places like Discord, Stadia, etc.
To test the PlayStation Remote Play functionality, you’ll download the PlayStation Remote Play application from the App Store and sign in to your PlayStation account. After you’ve linked your desired console, in my case a PS5, you’ll see the home screen of your device on your phone and be able to navigate it just as if you were using the native controller in front of your console.
The input response, video quality, and smoothness of the games I streamed were all very good. Everything from Demons Souls, to Spider-Man and Uncharted played fantastically via Remote Play on my Wifi 6 mesh network.
I only experienced a few hiccups with the connection when moving locations in the house, but other than those few occasions where I felt a little lag or visual distortion, the experience was great. Don’t forget you can also stream from your Xbox or pick a streaming service like Stadia to stream from.
Streaming from the Xbox was a smooth experience as well, minus the fact that the buttons aren’t labeled correctly for an Xbox controller, but that doesn’t hinder the experience much. Local gameplay is also fantastic.
I played a ton of Diablo Immortal with the Backbone One and it was a great experience. CoD Mobile worked just as well and felt completely natural to play with the Backbone One. All other games that support a controller should also play great with the Backbone One.
The N30 Pro 2 refines every element of its predecessor with new features like motion control, vibration, USB-C and turbo functionality. It’s equipped with clickable joysticks and features a full set of controller buttons that let you play any game anywhere.
The built-in 480 mAh Li-Ion battery provides up to 18 hours of play time and a charging time of 1-2 hours.
So happy to have a modern controller where the DPad is a first class citizen. Have had no issues configuring it to play games on Steam and DOSbox on MacOS. Also quickly tested it on a few titles on Kindle Fire with good results and little effort.
So far a very positive experience functionally, and dont get me started on how beautiful it is.
Perfect for playing retro games on my Raspberry Pi. The L2/R2 buttons are on the same level as L1/R1, which is a different setup to what you might be used to with other controllers, but you get used to it very quickly.
The digi-pad feels excellent, the buttons have a good feel to them, and the analog sticks are a nice addition. All-in-all, very happy with the controllers, with a great retro design that finishes off my Retropie!.

Unlocking the textured triggers returns them to their full range of control. All of the ESWAP X Pro’s buttons are fully programmable, including the four rear ones, for fully customized controls. Up to two separate profiles can be saved to the controller’s internal memory.
Connect a separately available headset to the 3. 5mm audio port to control its volume and mic mute directly from the gamepad using the integrated button bar. Use the ThrustmapperX app on your compatible Xbox and Windows system to further customize the ESWAP X Pro by adjusting the vibration levels, configuring trigger sensitivity, and more.
I originally bought this controller as a gift for my brother. He loved it (still does) and it started helping him get better. I then had to get one for myself, and I began feeling a difference in my gameplay as well.
It feels great in your hands, bigger than the standard xbox controller, but that doesn’t mean you need big hands to use it; my hands are very average sized. I play 2-3 nights a week regularly, and a lot more over the summer, with a year passed, i still have not experienced any issues in the slightest.
The cord is long, feels durable, and literally has never once tangled for me. The buttons are very clicky (idk how else to say it) and responsive. And if I did begin to experience drift stick (which I have not after a year) then I can simply replace the analog sticks in seconds.
It’s simply amazing. I recommend it to anyone who plays regularly. I could ramble on for a while about how much I like this controller.
Logitech F310 Gamepad brings you a console-style gaming experience on your PC. The controller’s curves are designed with your hands in mind and have molded rubber grips for comfort and control. A 1. 8m cord lets you sit back from the monitor on a couch, if that’s your style.
The F310 has a 4-switch D-pad for minute control and impressive responsiveness. Traditional D-pads are built on a single pivot point, but Logitech’s superior D-pad slides over four separate switches for enhanced precision.
With its Usb plug, this Logitech controller is easy to set up, adding a new dimension to the experience of playing your favorite games. Compatible with Windows 8, Windows 7, and Windows Vista.

The controller is lightweight but it doesn’t feel cheaply made either. It worked out of the box with all the games I have tested it yet. I’m not a fan of battery powered devices so this controller is ideal as it still comes with a cable (as opposed to the more recent F710), which at the length of 6 feet, is a pretty reasonable length for a PC controller.
The only complaint I have is that I would have liked the overall controller to be a little smaller as I feel like it stretches my hands when playing games that require the use of the trigger buttons and joysticks at the same time.
Although as I rarely play on Playstation and XBox, I can’t really say if the size is comparable to their controllers or if my hands are just smaller than average. If I compare it to my old Wingman Rumblepad, they are almost the exact same size.
So take this complaint with a grain of salt. As it is the case for pretty much everything I have bought from Logitech throughout the years, it seems like a quality product that will last many years. I wouldn’t hesitate to buy another one if this one breaks for some reason.
Works pretty decent for my PC games. The gamepad’s look is dated but it still looks brand new from its package. The buttons work well, and the joysticks are stable. The D-pad is also decent, although it kinda wiggles.
Not a big fan of the LB & RB buttons being lower than the XYAB buttons compared to the other PC controllers I bought this year. The triggers feel dated but it does get the job done when I’m racing. The Mode button is a bit too close to the D-pad and joysticks and it can be easily pressed by accident.
The package this gamepad comes with is a pain in the butt and takes longer to *carefully* open than my other PC controllers and its straightforward boxes. Overall, I recommend getting this gamepad when it’s on sale, like Cyber Monday, because it’s frankly an older controller, much older than my main PC/Xbox One controllers.
It can be a backup controller for PC gamers like me.
my initial reaction on holding this controller was: huh, seems a little light, even for a wired controller (probably due to a lack of rumble features). but after using it for a couple of weeks, i can say it is a very good deal.
solid construction, and the buttons are very responsive. the abxy markings are, unlike most controllers, not painted on or recessed into the surface of the buttons, but molded into the inside of the translucent surfaces, so they won’t be rubbing off or filling up with finger crud.
the sticks travel smoothly and easily, but center strongly. though the stick clicks seem a little too stiff, this ensures fewer accidental clicks during intense play. for retro gamers, the xinput/directinput switch on the back is a godsend.
finally, the d-pad is the most comfortable and responsive i have ever used, hands down. in fact, the only thing bad i have to say about it is the position of the mode button. it is a feature which baffles me, as it swaps the mapping of the d-pad and left stick on the fly, but i’m sure someone would have a use for it.
unfortunately, it’s position under the back button makes it far too easy to hit by accident, and i feel it would have been far better situated centered underneath the logitech button. in sum, it doesn’t look super sleek sitting on your entertainment center or coffee table, and it doesn’t have the heft of most controllers, but it’s a great product at an even better price.
Standard or custom controls via the Pro Compact Controller app available in the Microsoft Store. Button personalization. Customizable joysticks. Trigger sensitivity adjustment. Control pad with 4 or 8 directions.
Vibration motor customization. View, Menu, Nexus & Share buttons. 3. 5mm headset jack for audio and chat (headset not included). 3 meter braided USB cable (included).
This thing oozes class. I cant get over how pretty it is. Its replaced my ugly black controllers. The only minor issue I have with is the color on the back- it’s this really weird grandma panty color.
Which is honestly fine, I mean you see the front of the controller when using it, not the back. Besides that one point everything else is fantastic. Its smooth, feels good in the hand, and the center touchpad is responsive and better then the first gen ps4 controllers.
It’s a really high quality stick at a low price. It’s very sturdy and the thumbsticks are great to use. It does not have 6-axis and wifi but this is not a problem for me. I’m using the stick specifically to play retro arcade games, for which it is perfect.
My only criticism is that it is not suited to playing NBA 2K games because the thumbsticks position makes it difficult to do rotational actions such as spin moves. Also note that the sticks do not have rubber thumb grips and your thumb can slip off, this is easy to cure by roughening them with a nail file (it only takes a couple of minutes and does not effect the appearance of the sticks).
By the way I have stonking big hands and find the controller a very comfortable fit for me.

I needed a solid controller to replace one that stopped working randomly and this did the trick. It’s actually a really great value controller and I haven’t had any problems with the wireless on Windows 10 or with other Logitech products.
Be warned though that this controller kind of has a weird shape that some people will find uncomfortable, especially if you have small hands. If you have small hands you probably don’t want to bother with this one because you’ll just get cramps using it.
The edges of the controller are angled really sharply which makes the stretch to reach the sticks longer than on most other controllers. I can make it work but have to hold the controller a little weird to reach the triggers and sticks at the same time.
That said, if the shape of this controller was more flat (like a DS4 or Xbox controller) it would be a no brainer. The buttons all feel great (though the bottom triggers could be more clicky) and the texture of the controller is actually really nice.
It doesn’t work with all Steam games but it does work with most of them from my experience so far.
On the whole a decent controller. Slightly heavier than my original xbox 360 controller, and the stick placement is different. The ergonomics of the xbox 360 controller are slightly better in my opinion.
Build quality is OK – however the battery case cover tends to rattle a bit and the D-pad can rattle a little as well. The sticks are good but also seem to have a rather large dead band which makes precision movements more difficult.
There is textured plastic in places that make gripping the controller easier. The wireless works well enough although it can suffer a bit at range. Logitech provides an handy USB extension cable which I have used to position the dongle right underneath my desk and very close to the controller.
I’ve had no signal issues at all since doing this. I’ve found this controller to be especially good for Elden Ring. Overall a good buy.
After years of use and abuse, my F510’s left stick finishing came apart and now feels weird in the hand, so I decided to give wireless a go. Reading the multiple reviews stating problems with windows 10, I decided to give it a go and see what all the problems are, I am a systems admin by trade after all.
low and behold, I plugged in the nano receiver to a front usb, removed the battery sticker and the remote was up and playing madden 21 (yes, I know) within seconds. No problems with windows 10, shows right up under devices.
For some reason the logitech gaming software I use for my mouse doesn’t show this device AND the nano receiver for the mouse won’t pickup the controller, kind of makes the point of “universal” nano receivers a bust as I need them both plugged in to separate usb ports.
Now the one issue I had to tackle, the range. AWFUL! I am literally seated two feet away and at same height from my gaming pc box, with the receiver in the front and this thing lags, doesn’t recognize most double clicks and drops connection, that’s just piss poor.
I finally figured out what the usb wire extender was in the box for, lol. I ran the extender from the box, under my keyboard and directly in front of me with the nano receiver on it, now BAM remote is no longer laggy and behaves just like the F510, except heavier (rechargeable batteries help out alot here instead of the included duracells) and without the wires and with much weaker vibration.
For 30 bones you can’t go wrong here. –> awGuru. com Pros -> Wireless, no setup required, seems durable as always Cons -> Laggy if not setup as above, weak vibration compared to F510.
GameSir T4 Pro is an unprecedented game controller that supports almost all gaming platforms, including Nintendo Switch, Android, iOS, macOS and Windows PC. Meet the needs of many players on multiple platforms.
GameSir T4 Pro is equipped with a six-axis gyroscope. While supporting somatosensory operations, it can more sensitively capture player movements and more accurately reflect them in the game. For example, in the Switch game “Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild”, players can control the character to launch arrows through somatosensory operations to attack the enemy.
In the game “Mario Kart 8 inch, more precise operation means that it is easier to surpass the opponent.
The controller sensitivity for Fortnite can be set to high, medium, or low. High sensitivity will make it easier to aim and shoot, but may make it more difficult to control your character. Medium sensitivity is a good middle ground, and low sensitivity will make it harder to aim but may give you more control over your character.
Ultimately, it is up to you to experiment and find the setting that works best for you.
