I have long owned a full sized Bullworker which I would use periodically. I recently have revamped how I work out to be more joint friendly so as a result I’m using other methods. Adding the Steel Bow to my pgm has already shown promise in the short time I’ve had it.
Between the Steel Bow, my full sized Bullworker and Power twisters, I’m getting a workout that rivals anything I had previously done in the gym with weights. The Steel Bow adds quite bit of versatility to the workout due to the range of motion and varied resistance, I already love it and feel that it will be extremely beneficial going forward.
I kind of thought the price was a bit high but when you get something that’s effective, the thought of cost tends to change.
Good not only for older people but everyone. Have had a older version since my teens, and I’m in my early 60’s. My grandson wanted my older one so I bought this one for myself. This should last me until I die which I hope isn’t very soon!.

I just received mine today. I had it assembled and ready to use in a matter of minutes. Yes, there’s a misprint on the instructions (the pulley knobs don’t “click” into place, they just sit on the L-brackets, held in place by the tension of the cords), but I watched the setup video on QVC and quickly realized the written instructions had that one minor error.
Also, the back of the chair should curve inward toward the seat, not outward like the static pictures of the product on QVC’s page. (Just look at the videos of the chair in use to see the proper placement).
As for using the Chair Gym. holy moly, it works! I’m an overweight desk jockey who has had both my hips replaced, so I’m starting with the gray band just to get my muscles used to being used for more than typing on a keyboard.
The exercises on the intro DVD were easy to follow. Pro tip: If someone who has had very limited physical mobility finds it difficult to keep up with the videos using the cords, simply follow along and do the same movements without the resistance cords, at least at first.
Once your muscles and joints get used to the new ranges of motion you can grab the handles, put on the ankle straps, and go through the exercises with the added resistance of the cords. Also, I’m taking the Twister seat thingy with me everywhere because twirling while seated is ridiculously fun!!.
I’ve only been using this for about a week, but am happy so far. I ordered the zebra (not normally a pattern I’d use) because it did not have the logo in the middle of the seat, so it blends in a little better in a room.
I was a little worried it would not be challenging enough. no worries on that! I’ve got it on the lowest level and my bad knee can barely handle that on some exercises, and I can only get partial range on some of the arm and leg motions in the video.
I’m confident I’ll be able to go full range as I get stronger. It does seem a little wobbly (I’m far less than half maximum weight), but if you’re careful to keep your foot on the rest on the floor it’s fine.
It does tend to leave stripe impressions in the carpet, though, and I wish they offered a mat to go with. It would also be nice to have an extra set of handles to make moving between exercises quicker, but they are really quite easy to switch out.
Their website is no help in the accessories department, as it has none. If it’s a real problem for anyone you can pick up nice extras (not Chair Gym brand) on Amazon. Same with the ankle straps if you prefer the over the foot/boot style.
The great thing is that I finally found something my husband has decided to use!.
Did it click or did it not lol don’t know did not pay attention. If it breaks in a year I will return with my 5 year warranty duh. Do I like omg yes I LOVE it. I swear my pants that I wore yesterday got more loose overnight.
Yes I wear my Quaker Factory 2 days in a row 2nd day just to water my plants before I take a bath there is my not needed excuse. I would recommend this chair to everyone. I go to a gym yes but the core workout here is second to none and the time flys when I am twisting and to go into the next exercise is so super easy and then I don’t know how many times a sturdy chair is needed for you tube exercises like Barre and physique 57 I plan to use this chair its so easy to move around.
FlexBike is my favorite purchase but my second would be this chair and my aeropilates. hope to get a total gym for Christmas a tsv would be nice in November QVC just saying buy this its great.
The Perfect Ab-CarverTM will carve your core and help you get ripped abs and sculpted arms. The kinetic “engine” uses a carbon steel spring to turbocharge your abdominal and arm workouts. It provides resistance as you roll out and assistance when you roll back.
The ultra-wide tread provides maximum stability when carving left, right and center. Ergonomic hand grips are angled to help activate arm and core muscles.
I’ve used more than a few ab rollers over the years and I always return to the Ab Carver Pro as my favorite. Why? I like the wider/weightier/barrel-shaped (I. e. , more stable) wheel that gives me more consistent control over the shape(s) of my roll outs/ins.
Rather than reduce the effectiveness of exercise, I find the recoil spring allows me more control over focusing on/contracting my abs so they do the work, not my arms, shoulders, etc. The unique shape of the handles (for me) encourages better form that likewise seems to make it easier to focus on/ contract my abs for a more effective workout.
Being older, I tend to use it regularly because I’m comfortable with it and find it helps to increase my core stability and guard against my recurrent lower back issues.
Of all the ab wheel products this one is the most well thought out. It had a good handle with clear places for your thumb and other digits. It has a nice assist when pulling back up. It is also the most stable owing to its larger wheel design.
I felt my abs tighten on the very first try and I have made decent progress. The price is higher than other models, but I think it is worth it.
I normally do sit-ups but I didn’t feel that was enough. I was getting bored with them. I used the The Chirp one time and noticed a difference in my abs and arms. I have to steady myself and use more muscles than I would have while performing sit-ups.
I’m very glad I purchased the Chirp. It’s a good way to keep me from getting bored with my workout.
The Best Fitness BFINVER10 Inversion Table is designed to take advantage of the downward force of gravity to relieve pressure in your back. In one smooth, fluid move, you can safely go from an upright position to completely inverted.
Adjust the unit to accommodate your height and strap the ankle cuffs to secure a safe, comfortable fit. Then, lean back and enjoy the many benefits of inversion therapy, including less back and neck pain, fewer headaches, better posture, improved blood flow and less stress.
– Overall Width – Side to Side: 29″. Overall Depth – Front to Back: 51″. Maximum Weight Capacity: 300 Pounds. Overall Height – Top to Bottom: 61″. Overall Product Weight: 58 lbs. Color: Red. Gender: unisex.
As a professional contractor this was the most difficult thing I have ever assembled. Instructions that came with it were not for this model. My unit does not look like the picture on the advertisement from NFM, and it didn’t even help to Google it’s assembly.
Beyond that I love the pain relief I get from it. MRI shows that I have a herniated disc. I use the unit (3) times a day for about 45 seconds per session. Any more or less seems to make my results less desirable.
Also for this treatment, the inversion is very slight, probably 10 -20 degrees below level. I simply love the results. I have relieved my leg pain so much that I can actually sleep the night through without stabbing pains keeping me awake.
Go get one. Instructions say that it is not for spinal injuries, but I don’t think a herniated disc is a spinal injury since it is a malfunction in the formation of the disc’s. Working miracles for me.
I purchased the Best Fitness Inversion Table for my wife’s birthday. She used it once and never used it again because she did not like the feeling of being upside down. The Inversion Table did appear to be made of very high quality parts and had several safety mechanisms.
It was also easy to assembly and the directions were very clear and easy to understand. My two daughters loved to play with it flipping upside down, which was definitely not the intention of the table which was another reason to let it go (keep away from kids).
I would say that this table probably would benefit someone, but I would also look into the tables that lay flat and stretch you out. Also, the inversion table does not store very well and needs an decent amount of space (take that into consideration).
I ended up selling the table on craigslist. Again, appeared to be good quality, high safety design, but did not help alleviate my wife’s back pain so that is why I would not recommend it unless you are fine with blood rushing to your head.
It relieved my low back pain. But I feel less effective for high back or neck because it is based on the weight during I upside down It has good quality. The table self is made of fabric framed by metal tubing.
At hip position (20% of the table from bottom), A rigid foam strip under fabric make me uncomfortable. I always put a pillow to make flat and better supported. A adjustable belt is used to control angle before you start, however, I wish the angle can be adjusted when I am on the table and feel need.

I rarely put up any reviews. But I got this as a kickstarter, and it is a great solution. You’re not paying as much as some of the other stuff where you have to have home installation, and you can still generate a ton of weight without compromising form or exercises.
Between this and a stationary bike or access to a safe neighborhood for running whenever you want, this actually can serve as a complete substitute for a gym if needed. Kind of gets rid of any excuses you have, and I used to be a pretty avid lifter.
The home Gym is really all I wanted it to be. A convenient and efficient way to get my workout done anywhere and anytime. With working from home exclusively now, I needed a solution that would fit in my home office without using too much space but also without sacrificing all the exercises that I want to do.
I am very pleased with this excellent product, so I decided to buy a second one that I’ll be gifting to my dad for Christmas. I highly recommend it.
I’m really enjoying this product. I had some issues at first but they were terrific with customer support and they were able to remedy it quickly for me. I recently traveled with it and it was very convenient to pack.
I’m getting great results and I can exercise so many muscles and I don’t need a lot of space to do it. This is a great option for apartment living or if you don’t have the space in your house for gym equipment.

I am 49 and my go-to exercise routine for the past 30 years was running and going to the gym. Two years ago, I got burnt out on running and with the demands of family and work, it was difficult getting to the gym.
I first saw the Teeter LT3 on a shopping channel in Dec 2020. I was intrigued. I researched it by reading reviews and watching videos on YouTube, and decided to purchase the LT3 in Dec 2021. I am so glad I did.
My main concern was that it might not be as good of a workout since it seemed to be designed with people with joint issues or surgeries in mind, but that is not the case. Thanks to my Samsung exercise app, I compared my Teeter workouts with past workouts at the gym, including both the elliptical and the exercise bike.
I burn more calories using the Teeter than either or those for the same period of time. Customer service was excellent too. The Teeter LT3 was delivered with a week of ordering it (from Washington state to Tennessee), even during peak holiday ordering time and supply chain issues.
The seat was minimally damaged during shipping (a small crack in the cushioning), and I contacted customer service via email over the weekend after receiving it, and a new seat was shipped and received with 3 days.
I am glad I spent a little more to get the LT3 for the upgrades. I’ve not used the LT1, but the upgrades are worth it to me. It is a quality machine. Before purchasing the LT3, I did look at exercise bikes and ellipticals in local stores and they were not of the quality of the LT3.
I love the convenience of being able to work out in my home and watch what I want while I do it. The Teeter really is as silent as they say, and it is also a great investment because I know it will be equipment I can use for years to come even if I one day do develop joint issues or surgeries.
Who uses it? Both me, 80 year old male with bad knees and bad shoulders 94 year old mother-in-law with hip replacement. Packaging: Well organized but outer box could be heavier. No way to reuse it if you want to return it.
Tetter said they would send a new box if I wanted to ship it back. Items were well identified and labeled. Assembly: Forget about using the included tool, unless you want to make it a lifetime project.
I used an electric impact driver and a small offset Philips ratchet which made it easy. A hand ratchet with hex driver is minimum. All parts fit reasonably well and instructions were very good. About one hour assembly time.
(I saw one review that stated things didn’t fit well, but also said his box was damaged. Probable got dropped and bent a bit) Quality: Very good. I’m impressed with how sturdy this thing is. Well made.
Operation: Very smooth and consistent. No noise. Resistance setting is nonlinear, I. e. , increases faster the higher you go. The seat extends a bit too far under your legs and rubs a bit. The hand bar adjustments are a bit of a pain, but manageable.
the readout is okay, but you need to memorize the segments, as their labels are tiny. Use: 94 year old uses it 3 times a day. calls it her bicycle. loves it. Me; going slow so as not to irritate my shoulders.
but so far so good. stay tuned. Bottom line: Very happy and highly recommend it! :o].

I have had the Gorilla Bow for about a month now and it has done a very good job of getting me back into shape. I purchased the Travel Total Bundle for $341 after discounts/taxes. Due to the pandemic and not having a reason to be fit (no rugby to play), I kept putting off my strength workouts because I didn’t want to commit the 2 hours that they took.
I decided to change my strategy and switch my workouts to a piecemeal approach and instead of doing a 2 hour workout, I did several 15 minute strength exercises throughout the day. This is where the Gorilla Bow has come in very handy.
I could use the Bow during meetings in my home office, I could bring the Bow to my girlfriend’s place and not miss a workout over the weekend. If I wanted a change of scenery, I could bring everything to the living room and work out there while watching TV.
The heavier bands from the Total kit turned out to be a necessity and as I continue to work my way up, I may be ordering more, though I have not yet maxed out the bar in any workout yet. The shorter bench bands are necessary for any workout with a smaller range of motion (bench press / deadlift), while having the lighter-weight bands help to increment my way up to harder loads.
I use the long and short sleeves that came with the kit for any workout where the band would have rubbed on a surface. It appears this will significantly increase the life of the bands, though I am confident that the company would replace them if they failed within 2 years.
I have only had 3 issues with the product so far: The internal zipper on the travel case (which is able to easily fit everything from the total bundle) had broken during the first time I packed everything up.
The support when I reported the issue was wonderful. I sent a picture of the issue and a new bag was at my doorstep 5 days later. The sliding fit on one end of the Travel Bow is very tight and makes it difficult for me to get it put together.
I think the tolerances are just a bit too low. It takes me about 5 minutes of wiggling to get it to fit, but it does eventually get in and once it’s on there is zero play. The other end slides on with no drama and has a small amount of play.
Lastly, it appears they recently switched the 30# band to green from blue and the cheat-sheet that came with the kit was not updated to show this. The green band is also the only band that has a different texture than the others.
The other bands have a smooth feel to them, while the green band is almost sticky. It picks up lint and hair from the floor and does not feel as premium as the rest. Overall, I am very satisfied with this product and would recommend it to anyone who wants to be mobile and creative with their workouts.
Creativity is key to getting the most out of the bow. I have 23 different exercises that I do in my rotation, many of which I came up with on my own to replicate exercises that I would have done in the gym with equipment.
I got this to supplement my weightlifting in case gyms got shut down again due to the pandemic. I picked up the gorilla bow and the extra heavy (50 + 60 lb) band kit. The pound ratings on the band aren’t useful judges of resistance that you’ll feel during a workout.
When I loaded my bow with 220lb worth of bands and did seated rows, it barely felt like a workout. If I was to do 220lb of actual seated row, I wouldn’t be able to do it. Doing weighted squats is impractical with the bow — if you load up the bow with a lot of resistance you’ll have a hard time standing up straight, and the resistance gets very low when you do the actual squat.
Bodyweight squats with small barbells are just as good. For bicep curls, the bow worked really well as-is — you can get a really tough workout. If you incorporate other things into your workout, like running the bands under a chair or bench you’re sitting on, you can get a good workout doing overhead presses.
If you are doing any exercise with short range-of-motion like bench press, the bands are useless. If you really stretch the bands, wrapping them around the bow extra times, you can get a decent chest press.
This is kind of hacky, so you’d need to pick up the “bench bands” kit, but those only come in 90lb increments. Overall the product was a poor fit for me because of the exercises I do and the amount of weight I can lift.
If you’re completely new to weightlifting or are doing rehab, you might have a better experience than I. If Gorilla sold more increments of the bench bands kit, like a 60, 50, 30lb kit, I think it would be much more useful for someone like me.
When I wrapped the stock bands around the bow I was able to get a decent workout in for almost every exercise.
I’m 32, and my joints feel like they are 60 after my time in the Army. I used that as an excuse when I got out of the military to sit around and gain about 40 pounds. Being self-conscious to go to the gym again, I started looking at alternative options.
My brother turned me on to the Gorilla Bow. And hey if a doctor says its great, it must be right? So I bought the Lite version to get back into losing weight and build up my strength and stamina, and save some money while I made sure I was actually going to use it.
I have used it EVERY SINGLE DAY, with very light workouts 2 days of the week. My joints don’t hurt. My body feels good. And my mind feels even better. The amount of different exercises that you can perform on a simple bow design is absurd.
Hats off for taking a tried and proved design, and applying it to an at home work out system. As others have said, I highly recommend getting the protective sleeve (I will be ordering mine shortly) as I hate standing directly on the bands while doing curls and squats.
And it can be a chore to get the bow on your shoulders while doing squats. Other than that, simply put, if you are looking for an at home system for your workouts, or want to better yourself and start working out before you try a gym, this is DEFINETLY worth checking out!.

The Best Fitness BFMG20 is a complete gym in one compact, affordable machine. Its padded pressing arms follow the natural arc of a free weight bench press and pectoral dumbbell fly. It features a 2200 lb.
test nylon coated aircraft quality cables and fiberglass pulleys with ball bearing movement on solid axle rotation. Also includes high pulley with wide grip lat bar and low pulley with narrow grip low row bar.
This has been a great gym for us. Quality at its best. All the pulleys are smooth there are so many added options we bought. There’s nothing left to need except a personal trainer. I still incorporate my treadmill daily.
Compare to other available Gym’s, this one very bad quality and very tough to install. Its contains Vinyl weights. But in the market vinyl weight gym price around $300. Its selling high market price with not much quality.
This one is not a good choice for best work out. Need more space compare to other market models. Very cheap metal used for the Skelton( Cheap Aluminum quality). One word its not good one. There is 100% chance to missing parts, you need to call them and takes another week.
Assembling time compare to other 10 times more. My friendly suggestion please don’t buy.
Take your daily core workout and turn it up (or down) a few degrees! The Best Fitness Total Core Trainer combines the two most popular core workouts, an ab crunch and a back hyperextension, into one, easy-to-use machine.
The back hyperextension works comfortably from a standing position, providing a low-impact back workout, while the ab crunches will help you build abdominal muscles that are crucial to maintaining lumbar spine strength.
The stronger these muscles are, the more support and stability they can provide. The Best Fitness Total Core Trainer allows you to vary theting position of your workouts between 15, 20 and 25 degrees.
The simple pull of a pin enables you control the angle of the bench to increase or decrease the intensity of each session.
The solidity of this little bench exceeded my expectations. A big step above the quality of home-fitness equipment, but with the highly efficient space-saving qualities you want for a tiny home gym. This bench also exceeds the utility advertised for it.
With dumbbells, it provides a bench for chest presses and flies and for reverse back flies (just remove the foam roller frame to give your head room). Assuming somewhat of a squatting position for presses is perfectly comfortable for me @ 5′ 11”.
I couldn’t be happier with this purchase, and Strength Warehouse USA offers the lowest price and shipped it lightning fast with over-the-top customer care! If only every business was this good!.
I’ve been using this for about a month and I am continually impressed by the solid build of the equipment. I also like the flexibility in doing different exercises and folding up for easy storage. Highly recommended!.
1. Cannot get bench seat into a horizontal position; it starts out only in a 30 degree slant with further declines from that point. 2. The bench seat is much too small for my body size; I am 6’2” and hang uncomfortably off the end.
If I knew it had no horizontal setting and that the bench was only 22″ in length [way too short], I would not have purchased it; neither of these were stated in the Specs.
A tight, strong midsection is at the core of everything you do, and core training should be considered a vital part of any workout regimen. Not only can you add strength and muscle tone to your entire abdominal section, you can efficiently chisel a flatter stomach and slimmer waistline by committing to a regular abdominal workout.
This is important because your core is where all your body’s movements originate. Your abdominal muscles support and protect your internal organs and aid in breathing, especially when you exhale. The abs also team up with your back muscles to control trunk motions like twisting and bending.
With the Best Fitness Ab10 Ab Board, six pack abs are within your reach! The Best Fitness Bfab10 Ab Board is designed to tighten up your midsection, strengthen your back and improve your core stability.
If you want to look and feel your best, start at your core! Comfortable and effective, Body Solid’s BF AB10’s three starting incline positions (15, 20 or 25 degrees) enable you to take your workout and turn it up a degree.
Best of all, the Bfab10 is fully assembled right out of the box.

Adjustable from 34″ to 43″ from the footplate, this back hyper allows all athletes to train. Features: – Upgraded square tubing securing the torso pad to the hyperextension provides extra stability and security while using this machine.

Construction on this piece is excellent. It’s an effective, quality machine. The design allows you to easily have plates or DBs at the ready to add load to your work. Assembly was easy and straight forward.
Maybe a half hour from unboxing to completion. Material seems heavy duty and is sturdy after being assembled. The only con I have noticed is in the height adjustment. Shorter users may see limited ROM as the pads, even at the lowest setting, still sit fairly high on the hip.
Not an issue for me at 6’1, but my daughter at 5’5 loses a bit in the lowered position, though it is minimal. All in all, I would recommend adding to your home gym arsenal to get in some great lower back accessory work.
This piece of equipment is nice and sturdy. The workmanship is mostly pretty good. The quality of the chrome finish of the piece that the pads are attached to is poor. You can see rust coming though in some areas.
This doesn’t affect its use. The angle of the unit is fixed and non-adjustable. I would have preferred a slightly more upright angle. The worst part of this unit are the pads. They are not thick or soft enough.
I have to use a rolled up yoga mat over top of them so they don’t hurt. I am 5′-8″, 165 lbs, and I wish the pads would adjust lower than its lowest position so I could rest my quads against them with my hips positioned well above them.
Aside from the obvious great price point compared to similar benches, this bench has so much to offer. I’m 5’11”, so the bench was perfect for my height, but my wife is 5’2″ and still had no issues. The welds and materials are solid; it does not wobble while exercising.
Installation is simple and quick, less than 30 mins. The pad material is durable, but a major plus is the split pad. essential for guys doing hyperextensions. Perhaps the best feature is the use of a lipped base plate instead of knee rolls.
This allows you to easily shift angles and work on obliques. you can target all areas of your core without placing awkward pressure on your knees/legs. The lip on the plates ensures you legs/feet stay secure.
About 2 months of using 2 x week and my lower back feels so much better!.
Enhance safety and comfort using The Exercise Peddler by Drive Medical. It is simply unbeatable when it comes to helping you increase your mobility and circulation as well as the strengthening of your legs and arms.
This peddler is sturdy yet light-weight and comes complete with an attached display. The peddler monitors and records five different functions that can help you improve your overall health and well-being.
The display includes a scan feature that allows you to monitor the calories you’re burning, how long you’ve been exercising, as well as your revolution count (rpm) per minute. Another handy feature you’ll enjoy is the ability to time your workouts which allows you to track and measure your progress.
This fabulous piece of exercise technology offers you exceptional value. You’ll also love the fact that this Folding Exercise Peddler with Electronic Display is easy to fold up and take with you while travelling for pleasure, or on business.
Assembly easy A little wobbly even when everything is completely tightened up, but performs adequately for our needs, which were daily rehab exercises for a complete knee replacement. Being able to vary resistance is a plus.
Low price at $25 probably made up for any perceived downsides. Short term use for rehab makes this a good buy.
as a nurse of 36 years I recognized this as one of the most used and effective devises used for rehabilitation and exercise. It is the same great quality as those used by professionals and nearly anyone can use it to strengthen upper and lower extremities.
It works the abs also but not in any way that will cause further damage to back or other problem areas. It should be positioned in a comfortable position for leg exercising to prevent the knees from raising too high if you have problems in this area.
for use on arms just place it on your table and bringing it as close to your body as you are able and aligning it directly in front of you, this will work your arms and you can feel the exercise in your abs also.
No need to spend hundreds of dollars on something you will not use. If you use this to get stronger and for general exercise it is effective at the best price I found and the shipping time was very reasonable.
this product seemed sturdy. the anti slip pedals do not work. that sucker slide all over the place. called company ask for help they told me to send it back to whoever i bought it from. my home physical therapist had one looked a lot like this one.
Hers seemed to not slip as much as this one. maybe it is a better unit or more expensive or just well worn. Flooring is traverstine and laminate. I able to partially block it from walking but as i am pushing petals it walk over from laminate to ceramic floor.
i was hopefully as used my therapist excerizer for seven minutes. Try another brand I hope this will be posted. I will be watching if walmart value their customers then this will be posted.

The machine looks small but do not under estimate its size. I am a big guy and still break into a sweat in no time following the beginner’s training videos even at very low weights. I love the fact that as I build strength I could adjust the resistance on the fly and at micro level, it is as precise as a Swiss made watch.
The resistance dial allows me to add weight as little as a fraction of pound. I find the quality to be rock solid as long as I do not play slamming-football with it, yes you will see a little movement if you get aggressive and go wild.
I want to thank teeter technical support for an amazing experience when I had a couple of questions and concerns, they are as rock solid as the unit itself. Last but not the least, I can already see results in body tone, stance and energy levels.
I can go as easy or as hard as I could tolerate, I get results in either situations nonetheless. I send you all the blessings I could muster for making this possible, your training videos are amazing.
Folks there is no recurring fees for training videos, zero! Do use the videos, they are geared to keep you engaged at your own pace and get you results. This is my forth teeter addition to my home gym (garage), I am eye-balling their Power-10 to purchase soon.
I love the fact that Teeter puts Body-Friendly features first the machine is rather safe even for a guy like me with herniated disks, back, ankle and knee problems. The customer Service is right there for you too if you have concern.
The last word is if you have ever hesitated to purchase online, Teeter is a no-brainer, they honestly stand behind their products, the first time I called, I became a life long customer. Thank you Teeter.
I really love my Teeter inversion table and use it every day, but this product leaves a lot to be desired. It’s not ideally suited to many exercises that are advertised because its greatest strength is also its greatest shortcoming: it is lightweight and doesn’t take up much space, and as a result it’s very unstable if you do not have your feet firmly on the base plate at all times.
Even having one foot on it isn’t enough if you have enough strength to really pull hard because you’ll actually drag the machine with you. This ends up restricting your range of motion for anything that’s not directly overhead, so you are limited to very short movements and cannot shift position at all.
The baseplate also has a very small footprint and is rather tall at nearly two inches, so if you want to do big squats with feet shoulder length apart, you will be disappointed because there’s no way to widen it.
It would be a big improvement if the base plate were less than an inch tall and made of something very heavy, like steel, with adjustable width footprint. Or maybe just make the entire thing with a heavy steel footprint at least as an optional upgrade.
But the biggest disappointment is that the cable system really only provides positive resistance in one direction; the cables essentially go totally slack and provide no negative resistance on the way back down when they retract.
That is awfully strange if you have ever worked on almost any other kind of exercise equipment. This is noticeable particularly on higher weight settings as you work hard in one direction with absolutely no resistance in the other direction.
Any good exercise equipment should provide resistance in both directions. I keep it in the bedroom just to do some quick warmups and find it is best suited to simple range of motion exercises for shoulders, upper back, and hip extensions, but it lacks the durability to be more versatile.
15 Minute assembly and you just need to screw in a few screws. The Teeter FitForm is super easy to assemble and is easy to use. That said, it’s not a perfect machine. The cables are not very smooth. A reviewer on YouTube said that it gets smoother with time as we break it in.
I also found that the resistance was not the same on each cable so I have to make a more conscious effort to equalize motion when I use it. I also did not notice any difference in the resistance of the first few levels and had to crank it up to 5 before I noticed a difference.
So that’s not as many levels as promised. I already have the Teeter Move app on my tablet because I have the FreeStep and LOVE my FreeStep. The Move app offers training videos to show how to use the cables in a range of motions to benefit most parts of the body.
Then there are classes which combine those moves into a workout. All included free. The FitForm can grow with you. It’s perfect for someone just starting out, with health issues, old injuries, etc. I do believe it’s possible to outgrow this machine.
I chose it because I’m older and out of shape and this will help me get stronger. The quality is pretty good. I bought it during the intro special for 322. I feel like it would be an easy buy at 299 but I think 399 is stretching it.
Cross-country skiing is one of the hardest endurance sports. In this respect, it is not surprising that cross-country skiers – like rowers – are among the fittest athletes at all. With the SkiErg you can improve both your strength and endurance skills in a way that is easy on the joints.
The Concept2 SkiErg enables a combined strength build-up and endurance training. In addition to excellent upper body training, the SkiErg also trains abdominal/back muscles and legs with every pull. The SkiErg is suitable for both the double-deck and diagonal technique.
The Concept2 SkiErg is based on the same mechanics and electronics as the Concept2 Indoor Rower, the world’s first choice of rowers since 1982. The SkiErg not only has a durable and stable construction, it is also equipped with a state-of-the-art performance monitor that ensures immediate, accurate and repeatable measurement of performance data.
Whether you are a cross-country professional, a hobby cross-country skier or just looking for a great training opportunity, the SkiErg will help you achieve your goals.
We bought ours over a year ago and it is by far my favorite piece of workout equipment. I have scoliosis/spinal stenosis and had surgery when I was younger. Once I started closing in on 40 my lower back and hips started giving me a lot of problems making hiking and jogging painful.
This beauty made exercise possible when my pain was bad allowing me to stay in shape and not cause extra pain. We bought ours with the base so we could move it around the workout room as necessary. Great product, durable, and user friendly.
We also bought the concept 2 rower and the assault bike is next on the list. If you can only get one, I would recommend starting with this one!.
Got rid of our Sole treadmill which wasn’t being used much, and decided to try a ski erg. This is a great way to warm up, cool down, and/or incorporate cardio in between lifts, so that’s mainly what we’re using it for.
Well-built, quiet, portable, stable, and takes up little space. It’s not heavy, making it very easy to move when needed. Very well packaged and easy to assemble with clear instructions. It’d be cool to see a platform like Zwift incorporate XC skiing into the mix.
that’d make using this thing that much more fun. At any rate, this checks all the boxes for us.
I haven’t tried the bike, but the rower and skier are both great. I bought this because I had moved for work and left the rower behind. It wasn’t feasible to get the rower here so I opted to just buy another piece of equipment.
The SkiErg would be a great alternative for someone with a disability or injury as well and the workout is very similar to the rower, which is one of the best cardio machines out there. The quality of the Concept2 equipment can’t be beat.
The Valor Fitness CB-13 Adjustable Back Extension is a great tool to build lower back muscles as well as strengthening and conditioning the obliques and abdominal muscles. The adjustable back extension (or reverse sit up) can be used with only your body weight or in conjunction with additional weight such as a weight vest or a slam ball.
Adding additional weight to your workout helps to increase muscle tone and resistance. Manufactured of 2 inch x 2 inch 12 gauge steel, this rack also provides comfort with a solid steel foot plate, adjustable calf pads and adjustable hip pads so that the user may find the perfect adjustment for preferred comfort.
Hip pads adjust from 26. 5 inch to 32 inch from floor. Valor Fitness CB-13 rack can be used facing down (reverse sit up) or on your side using either just your own body weight or with additional weight.
Good solid piece of equipment. Easy to assemble – even though the initial instructions look complex. I found that by just looking at the picture it is the easiest to assemble, as most parts are already half assembled, whereas the instructions are based on a 100% non assembled Back Extension.
The equipment has a number of adjustments so I could make it fit 100% for my body – I am 6’2″. Good value for money.
Make the Most of your Workout with the Bowflex 3000 Experience the difference the Bowflex PR 3000 makes on your workout. The PR3000 Home Gym is the total workout solution. It offers over 50+ exercises to work your arms, legs, shoulders, back, abs and chest.
The Bowflex 3000 uses a cable pulley system that follows a natural motion rather than being locked into the motion of a typical stack-plate machine. And the No-Change Cable Pulley System lets you move from squats to lats to leg workouts without ever changing cables.
This means you’ll save time and keep your heart rate up as you progress through your workout.
First off, I really do like the BowFlex PR3000. It’s extremely versatile, easy to use, and very smooth in operation. I really love the fact that I can do many different exercises without having to reset the machine.
Now the bad news. BowFlex support is terrible! I’ve had to call them 4 to 5 times and each and every time I was placed on hold for almost an hour while waiting to talk with a live person. E-mail is almost as bad.
I had issues while doing the assembly of the machine, see the first pic that I attached. Once the base is assembled and the bolts tightened the results are as you see. One leg of the base doesn’t touch the floor.
It’s not my floor as I tried it in another location, same result. I did assemble the machine as is and it does work, after adding a piece of wood under the leg. A costly piece of equipment such as this shouldn’t have to have this done.
I believe that the welds for the brackets were done incorrectly. My second problem is with the height of the PR3000. See the second pic. Before buying I did a bunch of online research. Everywhere that I looked the height was stated as being 82 inches.
I even asked the BowFlex rep what the height was, she told me 82″. I explained to the rep that the ceiling of my basement gym is 82. 5 inches, so the height was a big concern for me. She again stated that the height is 82″.
I wasn’t too happy to discover that the true height of the assembled machine is 83. 5″. As you can see, I had to remove ceiling tiles to make it work. I brought these issues to the attention of two different BowFlex reps.
I sent email along with pics of the issues to them. They replied to me but completely ignored the issues, totally blowing me off. Now I can’t even get them to reply to me. I’m sure that they are hoping that I be quiet and go away, I’m not.
I don’t expect a miracle, or to have my machine replaced. But I don’t expect to be blown off and ignored either.
I debated for a long time trying to decide what type of home gym I wanted to put into my home during the COVID epidemic. I have used commercial gyms for a long time to keep in shape and to complement my running and golf habits.
I wasn’t sure if I would like the bowflex power rods vs weights but have been pleasantly suprised! First, the delivery and set up was incredibly easy and well mapped out. The parts were all clean and free of grease so I did not make a mess of the carpet.
The instructions and packaging were the best I have ever seen and believe me, I have put together a bunch of home projects for our kids, etc. The unit itself is amazing and really allows for working out any muscle group that you want.
They describe 75 exercises but really the number is unlimited if you are creative. What I like is the circuit training feel to the apparatus. You can go from quads to Lats to chest and back again in a circuit until you are done.
Just amazing. It does take time to figure out how to get it set up properly and what “weights” you want to use. I combine this with free weights and a sit up / weight bench and am very happy. I get a great workout and the power rods seem to be a little easier on the joints and tendons.
The only downside would be the crunch apparatus which I don’t care for but I don’t really like the ones in the gym either. Also the preacher curl device is a little awkward to set up and use but is still a good device.
All in all A++. I am extremely happy with the purchase and feel that it is well worth the money and is incredibly well engineered. #sweepstakes.

Like any other program or machine, you get out of it what you put in. I’ve definitely seen my core and glutes gain definition in the 3+ weeks I’ve used it. At age 55, that’s very encouraging. – As a military retiree, I have free access to the medium-size gym at Los Angeles AFB, but it can get crowded and one day I finally got tired of not being able to do my circuit training without guys using my machines.
So one of the huge bennies is that the enables you to get your workout done uninterrupted by other gym rats AND uninterrupted by yourself because the workouts can be done without having to go to other machines.

– I also love Todd Durkin’s 5-Day Advanced Program DVD because he’s the ultimate personal trainer: knows his stuff, he’s energetic, great at boosting morale, and he leads by example by being fit himself.
Since I’m serious about getting back into fighting shape, I also purchased a bunch of acces.
I’ve owned a total Gym for over 23 years (Model 1700 Club) and have continued to use it year after year. I purchased it immediately after military retirement for the fitness options that I would no longer access easily through the base.
I continue to weigh the same as when I retired and at 65, have a fitness level above my contemporaries. I use the Total Gym every day for a very limited workout and sit-ups. If I pickup a few extra pounds on the holidays, I increase the excercises and reps in my routine.
Otherwise, its biceps curls, tricep curls, chest pulls, situps leg presses and done – less than 7 min. I do more if I want to increase strenghth or mass. I have used or purchased just about every fad machine – Soloflex, free weights, universal weights, gyms, Nordic Trac, etc.
The Total Gym has exceeded all – I have never purchased another type of machine except for another Total Gym Fit today for my wife – she wanted new and her own. You can not beat it folks. If I could afford it, I would give one to each of my 5 similarly aged brothers and sisters as well as each of my 3 children!.
I have looked at the Total Gym for years. I finally purchased the Total Gym Fit 3 weeks ago and am thrilled with it. It was easy to set up. There really is only one major step. extending and unfolding the upright from the glide board track.
It helps to have another person to help with this step, but very doable alone. The hardest part of the initial setup was taking off all of the packing material. This machine was packed incredibly well.
once set it was apparent how sturdy and well made the total gym is. The metal frame is built like a tank. The glide board floats up and down the metal track, the cables are sturdy and insulated. Hand grips are comfortable There is a small learning curve.
Learning how to smoothly move from one exercise to another requires learning how to safely get on and off the glide board while holding and positioning the cables(for those exercises using cables). Some of the exercises require unattaching the cable pulley that attaches to the underside of the glide board.
Also there are attachments that are required for some of the exercises. All of these require some learning( repetition ). By Day 3. I was moving rapidly through the exercises. There are so many exercises and the machine comes with a deck of cards with 80 exercises and programs to follow.
Also a large wall poster with all the exercises comes with it. There are also free video materials showing programs with professional trainers. I was never a gym rat but in high school played sports.
Because of family and career physical fitness fell by the wayside. The Total Gym is so easy to use and fits easily into my home office. The workout is amazing. It is easy to get a full and effective workout in 15 minutes.
The apparatus materials are strong and feel durable. I did get the Chuck Norris signature version of this model because it comes with a much larger foot platform for the leg exercises. Worth it. I’m only 3weeks In but I’m thrilled so far.
I have been using the Total Gym FIT for about 2 months. Getting started was easy. It arrived mostly assembled. Just a matter of unfolding from the box. Instructions were easy to follow. Using Total Gym has been great so far.
Resistance can go from very easy to difficult depending on the resistance level. Changing resistance levels takes less than 10 seconds. It is very simple to go to several different exercises while adjusting the resistance in between sets and still keeping your heart rate up.
The ab-crucher attachment is very nice for targetting your core. I feel much stronger and have moved the resistance level up several times since I started. I have rheumatoid arthritis so having a tool that is easy on my joints was a must.
Free-weights were just too painful. The total gym is very easy on my joints and I feel safer than using traditional weights. Along with cardio and a healthier diet, I have lost 15 pounds so far and gone down a waist size in my pants.
My belt is now one notch tighter. I’ve had to pull out some old jeans I previously could not wear. Everyday tasks are easier. I started at 220 lbs. Now I am 205 lbs after 2 months. Most of all, I am encouraged to keep going.
It is hard work but I feel more energetic and I’m starting to see the results in the mirror. This has been a great investment to my life. -Rick H (44).

Love this exercise bike. It arrive fast and packaged very well. You are right when you say open the crate and wheel it out. The delivery man brought it up to our garage and we took it from there. I am 66 years old with 2 knee replacements.
It works out great for me because I can’t use a treadmill any longer because it was too hard on my joints. The different settings work out great for me.
I was recently searching for a high quality but affordable cross trainer for my home and came across the PhysioTrainer CXT. What really has sold me on the product is the compact size, smoothness of the workout and its overall quality.
I decided to place it in my front room so that I can watch TV while I work out. The CXT is very quiet and does not interfere with the sound from the Television or Stereo. To shed some light on the whole process from soup to nuts.
The CXT arrived well packaged, my friend and I removed the lid and were pleasantly surprised to see that the product was fully assembled and ready to go. This what was advertised but you just never know now days.
On an average I have been using the CXT for 20 minutes per day and I am very happy so far. The seat is comfortable, and I enjoy the arm movement. Circulation is the key to life and I like to stay active.
I have found that by having the CXT in the front room it helps me be conscious of working out and the benefits. Weight loss is going to be one of my New Years Resolution, so I thought I would get a head start on it.
I hope I haven’t rambled on too much, but I am excited about using the CXT and reaching my goals.
The bike arrives fully assembled. Was disappointed in the arm reach as it does not extend too far out for me. My arms are not getting good reach for exercising. The best thing is the seat; very comfortable.
However, if it did not cost more than $300+ to send back I would. So, I will sell it and get another model.

Reviews From Real Customers
I love the machine. It is high quality. However the assembly directions were not very good. Sometimes downright wrong. Attaching the computer / display with the rubber boot was very difficult, almost impossible.
Has the President of the company ever assembled one of these? I think it would be an eye-opener. Also I spent well over $3K for this machine and you can’t even include an owner’s manual??.
The conclusion of a compound exercise for the back may vary depending on the specific exercise being performed. For example, if someone is doing a deadlift, they may conclude the exercise by lowering the weight back down to the ground.
If someone is doing a pull-up, they may conclude the exercise by lowering themselves back down to the ground. In general, the conclusion of a compound exercise for the back should involve lowering the weight or body back down to the starting position.
