Brine: In a large stockpot, combine spiced brine blend (use entire pouch of brine blend for turkeys 12-24 lbs. Use 1/2 of the pouch for turkeys less than 12 lbs) with 1 quart water and bring to a boil for 5 minutes, stirring occasionally. Remove from heat and add 1 gallon cold water. Refrigerate until chilled thoroughly. It must be room temperature or colder before pouring over the turkey. Place the turkey in the Gourmet Gobbler brine bag, and then in a roasting pan for added support. Pour liquid brine mixture over the bird. If necessary, add more cold water until the turkey is submerged. Refrigerate overnight – 12 to 16 hours for a 20-24 lb turkey. Remove turkey from bag & brine solution. Rinse the bird thoroughly, inside and out, to remove all brine solution and pat dry with paper towels. For best results, soak the brined bird for 20 minutes in cold water. Season: Drizzle 2-4 tbsp of olive oil over the surface of the turkey. Generously sprinkle the entire pouch of smoky peppercorn & herb rub over the outer skin of the bird and rub to distribute evenly. For deep fried turkey, do not season the outer skin. With fingers, loosen skin of bird and place turkey rub between skin and meat. The thigh and drumstick meat should feel soft when pressed and juices should run clear, not pink. Remove turkey from oven. Place on cutting board. Tent cooked turkey with foil. Let stand for 20-30 minutes to allow juices to saturate the meat evenly. Carve and serve. For Grilling: When using either a gas grill or a charcoal grill, cook the turkey using the indirect heat method. With coals or burners on either side and a drip pan underneath the bird. For Deep Frying: After brining and rinsing, make sure turkey is completely dry, inside and out, before frying. Follow manufacturer’s instructions with the fryer.

Purchased it in 2014. The other day, Christmas Eve 2020 I found it going thru my spices. Both packets were still sealed. There was no weird smell of the ingredients so I decided to try it. Brined the turkey overnight.
It turned out great!!!! Was I taking a chance? Of course but I had to try it, besides we had a ham too.
I cannot recommend this product enough. We used it last Thanksgiving for the first time and I later regretted not buying two kits so I’d have one for Christmas not to mention my husband (who is not a lover of turkey) kept raving it was the best turkey he has ever had! He said if turkey had tasted like this he would have been eating it at the holidays.
Not only does this kit produce the moistest and most tasty turkey, but it also comes with everything you need – especially the bag, which when purchased separately can easily cost $4 and up. I’m so glad Walmart is carrying this special item!.
I just poured the water and brine mixture as per directions. For a 23. 7 lb turkey it was impossible to fully seal the bag, even after removing some water/mixture and still making sure the turkey was still fully covered.
I am sure it would seal with a smaller turkey, but for this size turkey beware. You may have to purchase a bigger bag separately. So one star off, other than that I am sure the flavor will be great after cooking, thus one star off.
I really thought I was going to be a Queen for the day with this Butter. I just couldn’t wait to try it. All the raves about the taste. It was really creamy, you could see it had more cream and it tasted ok, not enough salt and just not worth double the cost especially now with prices so high.
But I wanted to be Queen for the day. I think I will give Vermont a try the next time. If I don’t fall over backwards, I will go back to the market brand. That butter taste fine, not quite as creamy, but has the perfect amount of salt.
I just wanted to see If I was getting the Best of the Best. Just average and not worth the extra really.
Kerrygold is without doubt the best butter I can find. It’s just butter from cows that are fed just grass, which is the way it should be. Salted or not the flavor is just the way butter should taste, and the color is just the way butter should look.
I don’t see any on the shelves that come close to Kerrygold. It’s not the cheapest butter; there are plenty of examples that are cheaper, but they’re all superwhipped, bland tasting and anemic looking lumps of fat compared with Kerrygold.
It’s not the most expensive either but it has the most sumptuous flavor. I grew up in an area noted for dairy products and this is the closest to what I recall as farmhouse butter that I can find today.

Your This is pretty expensive butter but it is worth it, I stopped using real butter awhile ago and was told by a friend to try this. However, I will definitely be purchasing this again. This is real high grade butter.
I use it to make something called Bulletproof Coffee along with MCT oil and it tastes great. It also gives the coffee a richer flavor than half and half. No other butter compares, grassed butter should be used today like it use to be.

Kerrygold makes delicious European butter at an excellent price. I don’t use American butter anymore except to bake. Plus, I’ve found when baking with European butter, you have to adjust for the varying fat content.

I have used Land O Lakes Butter for years, and would never buy any other brand, but here in the last several months myself and my entire family have noticed a change in the butter consistency. It is like there has been some sort of oil added, its consistency is super greasy.
This is super disappointing because we use alot of butter. I have read other reviews of the same complaint. You really need to check into this. At this time I am searching for another butter, because quite honestly I can’t eat the greasy mess that your butter turns into.
I grew up using Land O Lakes butter and would never buy anything else. But in the last 6 months or so, I’ve noticed the taste and texture has changed. It is almost like margarine or crisco is mixed in.
The butter is slightly softer and much greasier like a crisco. I would have sworn there was oil mixed in but I don’t see that in the ingredients. Now I see others are experiencing the same thing but are being told no change in recipe.
Assuming that is true, the cows must be being fed differently. But there is definitely a change in taste and consistency. And. with the new packaging, the sleeve on the butter doesn’t stay on as well as it used to.
I have to rewrap unused butter in my own wrapping. It’s as if it is a touch smaller than it used to be. But now, I’m wondering if the issue is that the butter is greasy from the texture and that is causing the wrapping to pop open,.
So disappointed and now I’m going to have to find a new butter after using this brand for 50 years!.
I have enjoyed Land O Lakes butter for seriously 50 years. I have never had issues with it being left out to soften up as I enjoy the melted taste on toast. I have been able to leave it at least a week outside the fridge.
But within the last five months I have noticed mold growing on the butter after two days left out. Never had an issue before so I don’t know what’s changed. As you can see in the photo those dark spots are mold.
It’s not something that was dipped into the butter as this side has not been touched. So my question is what has happened to the butter that I can’t leave it out like I used to? I live in air-conditioned house it’s not hot here sorry I am mystified.
Any help you can give me is appreciated and the cost of the butter for me it’s not cheap. I’ve always loved Land O Lakes so I am looking forward to your email.

I had never tried any Bulletproof products before this one but I have heard about them and seen them at stores. Honey was advertising a sale on their ghee so I decided to try some because of all the great reviews.
This ghee is delicious!! The reviews are so accurate. It is not hard and lumpy like other ghee. It is very soft and smooth. I put it in my coffee every morning and it gives it a smooth velvety texture and a very mild buttery taste.
Delicious!!! Dairy products overseas and in Canada are of much higher quality than the US because we don’t have as many regulations as other countries unfortunately. The taste definitely proves the quality.

Love, love the taste of the Ghee butter. We once ran out and I sent my husband out on a mission to find something to replace it. In tasting another brand the two don’t compare. The Bulletproof Ghee is better tasting in coffee on toast.
The consistency is light and smooth. It doesn’t clump or harden. It dissolves in coffee quickly. I won’t use regular butter since I started using Ghee. It’s that much better!.
I love these products. I love the butter and the mct oil. Haven’t drank coffee regularly for years but everything together is very enjoyable in the mornings. I believe in these products so much that I bought a 2nd round of the bundle to keep at work and home.

DEFINITELY ADULTERATED!!Started using Nanak ghee from 2020-22 and all of the sudden the cholesterol increased for each of my family members, including my children in their early ’20s. I have always cooked my food in homemade ghee all my life.

This is definitely not pure ghee! I have made my own ghee and am very familiar with the smell and taste of real ghee but wanted to try this since it looked authentic. This ghee smells and tastes like it has Dalda in it, nothing like ghee.

I bought this item for the first time when I was in. Arizona. I knew the taste would be great because all of the butter products I have purchased from Challenge Butter has been. The easy spread Butter with Olive Oil was so awesome.
It spread as though it was going on a hot piece of toast instead of a cold slice of bread. No tearing of the bread with harder butter it went on so smooth and easy. My husband said it was the only butter he wanted me to buy from now on.

I ordered the #10 butter powder expecting something more like real butter. It took a bit of work to reconstitute and wasn’t too tasty. I used some in the top of my microwave popcorn popper (supposed to melt and drip onto the popcorn as it pops), but the butter just turned into a brown hockey puck on top.
Drat. However, when I make the mashed potatoes I add some butter powder to the dry mix and adjust the water accordingly, and it makes the potatoes taste so much better. Throw in some dried chives and maybe some bacon bits for a tastier dish.
Should work great for other veggies too. This is a product I would buy again. Also, I am not saving everything for a disaster, because I want to know what I will actually want to eat at that point. It helps me to decide what else to add to my storage.
I have ordered Patriot Supply in so many of the different ways they offer. I have recently succumbed to health issues like so many of us have and I would recommend not only for survival but for every day cooking.
It is fast and easy to fix and if you try it now you will know what kind of any seasoning you will need to go with it. My husband loves the spaghetti, I put ground lamb with seasonings in it but really this spaghetti does not really need it.
The taco veggie meat that comes in the can is a regular staple in our house. It taste just like the meat in the canned food you get in the store. The butter and honey powder is to die for! The honey wheat bread mix!!!! All of it is very good.
