This is one game that offers entertainment value from it’s story mode, as well as replay value from it’s multiplayer modes. Let’s start off with the story mode. If you have never played any gears games before this one, there’s a previously gears movie that brings you up to date.

The story is like an interactive movie with very detailed characters and backgrounds that make you want to start and never stop playing! The multiplayer has a few choices in including a mode where you and other online players play co-op to defeat monsters wave after wave while another option let’s you play co-op after you’ve entered the hive and fight your way to freedom.

Every week new maps are released and the harder you put the difficulty, the more better the rewards are. You also level up each character individually which unlocks new perks to help with harder difficulty.

Overall this game is highly recommended if you own an Xbox One. A must have!!.

I really enjoyed, really nice game, it won’t be a best seller or game of the year but it entertains you and technically it’s really well done. Beautiful story, beautiful graphics on HDR 4K TV, beautiful soundtrack, in short those who like the genre and played the previous ones is to buy.

For those who have not played the above does nothing at the beginning there is a really well done sunto that from a nice idea of the game world. Microsoft has done a great job in everything even with spoken Italian voice acting.

In the end I recommend it without remoring.

This is one of my favourite games. There is so much to do in this game and it can be as big as you make it. The graphics are amazing and the game is constantly being updated so it’s always getting better.

It’s a free roaming game where you explore the universe by exploring planets that have different atmosphere from tropical planets to fire planets to ice planets. You have to explore different alien species and learn their languages.

You get to build your base where and however you want. The most important part, i believe is the fact you have different game modes. Creative, survival, permi-death. Would totally recommend. 10/10.

Alright first off, do not go to youtube and scope out the trailers they showed for the game they are mainly false. Find some actual footage of people playing the game to see how much they really left out! I have honestly played the game well over 100+ hours to give it it’s fair try and before I could truly criticize it.

They did have an update for the system a few months back called “The Foundation Update” which did improve it a little but not up to the specs of where they showed it should be. If you’re looking for “Amazing graphics” this game will let you down in comparison to Next Gen games most are seeing lately.

The only true factor is yes it is endless there is no way anyone even if they played it 50 years straight would ever come close to getting to all the planets. But, on that note keep in mind as many planets as there are there maybe only a couple of dozen really because after you hit say the first 30 planets, I doubt you find any others that will really stand out as unique they all have the same skins after that.

But on a positive note, it’s truly great IF you love to do some exploration and just wonder around. There are many times I caught myself looking up at the sky in the night and seeing 5 planets all around me which was quite awesome simply because I said “hey, I wanna go there right now to any of them” and could.

I hope this kinda gives you a good idea of what you’re getting and honestly with the price drop, it’s worth it at $20. To any of the parents reading this, aside from what is a toy laser gun to Mine objects with there isn’t too much violence unless you’re kid just likes shooting aliens and space ships.

Summary: Few games have the honor of being as highly anticipated as No Man’s Sky. What was promised was nothing short of revolutionary. The scope of the game was almost unfathomable. The sheer amount of freedom and discovery gamers looked forward to with this release is nothing short of the uncontrollable excitement a child experiences the night before Christmas.

Does it deliver on all the promises? Yes and no is the best answer to that question. Graphics: The visuals are delightful and mostly on par with what you would expect from this title, technically speaking.

I felt that detail could be a little higher when being very close to things such as plants and terrain. The art style is fairly unique and the palette fits well. Most colors are slightly ‘washed’, or have a pastel feel to them, adding to the unique sci-fi feel.

There is a familiarity in some plants and creatures from planet to planet, but that is to be expected to some extent when considering the scope of the game. Sound: The sound effects work well and are thought out.

The technology sounds are appropriate and add to the ambience. The dynamic creature noises are interesting and even amusing at times. There’s not a lot of background noises, but what is there increases the realism.

The sound track is nothing less than stellar and an absolute pleasure to experience in the game. I thought it would have been neat on the PS4 to have the system feedback announcements come through the controller speaker.

Gameplay: This is where gamers choose sides. I’ve seen a lot of negative feedback on the game, both from gameplay and technical issues. In a time when MOBAs and high action shooters seem to reign supreme, I was looking forward to a slower-pace exploration game.

The gameplay can get monotonous for some due to the constant necessity to mine materials to charge your life support and other critical tools and systems. You fly to a new planet, start scavenging materials, possibly find monoliths and other cool discoveries that increase your knowledge of certain alien races, go to another planet and repeat.

A player can take extra time to interact with the alien species, trade, and upgrade their equipment, which I find satisfying. I enjoy taking my time experiencing the different planet’s characteristics, making discoveries, often renaming them, and then uploading them from the world to see.

As for the technical issues, the game has crashed twice on my PS4 (which I’d not yet experienced a crash on my PS4 yet), and I’ve experience no issues on my PC. The framerate stutters a bit as the game is loading but after a few minutes the framerate seems solid and smooth.

Final Thoughts: I think the game is a huge success and I love playing it. I love how small it makes you feel when accessing the galaxy map and how I can take as much time as I want exploring as long as I keep my critical equipment charged.

I love discovering upgrades for my multi tool and finding really strange creatures. I also love not being forced into explosive combat situations all the time. Not everyone will love the game as I can see how some would find it tedious and monotonous, but I, for one, am very pro-No Man’s Sky.

I love it and keep an eye out – you just might find one of the many planets I’ve discovered!.

I have had this helmet for 4 months and while it’s not the greatest helmet ever it certainly had the features I was looking for. First of all this style of helmet is best suited for those with oval shaped domes as my roundular neck protuberance gets a little smooshed by the sides, it could just be because of my long hair or maybe my neanderthal genes made my forehead feel more like a fivehead in the thing but it doesn’t hurt and that’s what matters.

The design of the helmet is sharp and eye-catching which will help you avoid becoming flatter than a flounder with “poor body image”. I opted for the gold tinted visor and the everclear coating they use on it works as good if not better than my other helmet with a pinlock, it also provides just enough tint to not have to use the built in drop down sun visor unless it’s really in my eyes.

The top brim is removable and comes with plates to cover up the nakedness of the holes used to mount it. There are indents in the padding for glasses and I can attest that they’re useful in providing a comfortable housing for the eye-enhancing attire.

Speaking of indents there’s room for a hands-free unit’s speakers gouged out of the protective foam which provides a handy home for the headphones of the unit, I only with there was a decent place to put my microphone as the ones that came with my hands free unit either fit too tightly to be comfortable or don’t have a proper home to prevent obstruction from the modular system.

I believe another reviewer pointed out that these helmets aren’t rated for crashes with the chin-guard up which is a disappointment as they could really use better airflow. All-in-all it’s a great all-around choice for an ADV helm but if you’re looking at doing a bit more street than dirt I would look at either HJC or if you have the money go get a Klim or Shoei lid.

Exactly what I expected when I ordered this helmet. It?s a bit on the heavier side, which is to be expected with the modular mechanism. The sunshade is a fantastic feature. The visor works well at highway speeds, and doesn?t seem to catch the wind even when I turn my head.

Some of the mechanical parts could be a better quality, and it is in need of better venting, but I feel I got a good value for the price point of this helmet. Cardo Bluetooth system was installed with little difficulty.

Note: order one size larger than you would normally use. I fit comfortably in most medium helmets. I purchased the large, and it is very snug.

It’s the most important piece of gear you own and for good reason! One day it may just save your life like it did mine. I was recently on a trip up to Prince George bc from Abbotsford bc. About half way there on hwy 24 I caught gravel in a corner, over corrected and went straight off a 20ft embankment at highway speeds (never had a chance to hit the brakes).

This helmet and my scorpion optima jacket (also bought here) are what saved my life that day. I immediately got launched off the bike when it first landed (severely breaking my leg in the process) and slid on my back (protected by the back pad in the jacket), my face, the back of my head (both protected by my helmet).

My phone had broken in the crash and nobody had seen me go off the highway so my only option was to climb the embankment with my twisted, dislocated, fractured leg with every tendon snapped dragging behind me.

Had I not been wearing the proper gear at the time or had I been wearing cheaper gear of lesser quality, I have no doubt I would’ve died that day. I was almost not able to make it with the injuries I had, if I had more then the broken leg, there’s no way I would’ve made it.

After using Fitbits for a couple years and their shelf life only having about a year each I finally upgraded to a Garmin thinking it would be better quality for the price. For the first 5 months it’s been great.

It’s a stylish watch and has all the features I’m looking for in a daily activity tracker. My main issue is it staying connected. It will randomly disconnect and has a lot of trouble reconnecting to my phone.

This last time my watch died and when I charged it and it finally came back on it was lagging a day behind. I’ve been working to get it reconnected for the past 3 days with no luck. Support has been mostly helpful with ways to get it resynced but nothing that has worked so far.

I love this watch but for the price point you pay it should not be having basic Bluetooth connection issues.

I upgraded from the slightly more basic Vivomove HR and this is sadly not worth the money. I was after a nice looking timepiece that would also allow me to track my fitness and keep track of smartphone notifications.

I *really* like the look of this watch, in particular the analogue face (and have received many compliments on my watch) however functionality is where it falls down for me. Here are the top 3 shortfalls for me: 1.

The watch face notifications are hard to see outdoors on the rose gold face. If it is sunny, you have to be able to shade it effectively to read the screen. This is not easy to do while cycling! 2. The Bluetooth range is short, so it continuously drops out (even at home) and doesn’t reliably reconnect (to my iPhone) when it gets back in range.

I regularly have to manually reconnect it in settings on my phone once I notice I haven’t had any watch activity for some time (and realise it is because it is not connected). There is a setting where you can get a notification when your watch drops in/out of range from your phone, however I had to disable this as it was so annoying getting notifications constantly when moving about my house.

3. GPS (needs to pair with phone for this as this is not inbuilt) is not reliable either – the signal regularly drops out or is lost with no sign of this until you finish your run/cycle to find that you have not been tracking as anticipated.

So annoying!.

I decided to get rid of the ugly iWatch and get something that looks better and simpler to use as I wanted a much longer battery life. I can not fault this watch at all! I actually love it! I usually have my phone with me so I did not really need the iWatch.

This does all the fitness tracking and health monitoring I need and tells me a quick overview. It is also very easy to read the time and date and quite versatile. It doesn’t do all the pay options using the iWatch does but I just use my phone for contactless payment instead! Not really a biggy!! I also love that it caters for small wrists and big wrists.

I am quite tiny and it still can go smaller. My mum has larger wrists and there was still ample room to expand. Overall really pleased.

I bought this pack because I wanted a smallish day pack that still had reasonable storage for gear and food/drinks. I am 6 foot, 200# for reference. I also like the women’s colors better than the men’s (manufacturers take note!).

I ordered a men’s (Techno color) AND a women’s (Shadow moon) SCREE 32 to compare the fit. The only real difference I could see is the cut of the women’s shoulder harnesses (slightly curvier). I did notice when adjusted for height and chest width, the men’s straps slid more easily on/off my shoulders without having to change the length.

With the women’s pack I had to loosen the shoulder straps a little to get it on/off comfortably (minimal shoulder “squirming”). I actually section hiked the Appalachian Trail with a friend who loaned me a tent, sleeping pad and pillow.

Although the tent didn’t fit inside the pack, (we bungee corded it to the bottom exterior), the pillow and pad did. What I’m saying is it CAN be used for a single overnight stay in a pinch. This is a great pack for day hikes.

I love the way it “flays” open and kind of looks like an alien egg when loading it. The cinch straps are effective and it has 2 medium stuff pockets inside. The zippers are nicely rubberized to protect from rain entry, and the brain has 2 small pockets for quick access items.

Just enough tie-downs / compression straps as needed. Two external stretch mesh pockets perfectly fit Smart water bottles. The internal pocket for a hydro bladder is very tall and thin so there is no way you could substitute this pack as a laptop bag.

One of the best features is they added anchor points on both ends of all zippers so when you pull a zipper in one direction you hold the anchor at the other end for easier pulls. If the anchors weren’t there, pulling a zip would simply distort the bag and take longer to accomplish.

This pack is extremely well made, durable and lightweight. My only qualms are that the brain itself is heavy so if you don’t pack enough things in the main compartment, the pack looks like it’s collapsing under the strain.

Otherwise, great, if slightly unconventional design for opening. But I like to be different!.

I got this pack for a week long trip to DC and Virginia. We flew in and spent the day in the city with all our luggage. I was looking for a carryon pack that would be comfortable to walk around with for a day in the city, big enough for a week long trip but smaller than my backpacking pack.

This pack was perfect. It fit a large and med packing cube, toiletries, laptop, book, chacos, rain coat and water bottle perfectly. I had to pack pretty light but for a summer trip that was no problem.

When we boarded the plane all the overhead bins were full and I was able to squeeze it under the seat in front of me. It stuck out quite a bit and I bet if a flight attendant had noticed it they would have made me put it overhead.

The harness system was super comfortable and I was happy to be carrying it all day long. I am 5ft 5in, 150 lbs and I bought the M/L, the S/M probably would be better for me (straps are cinched almost all the way and the tails are very long) but I opted for the larger size so my boyfriend can also use it.

I really liked the accesibility of the zipper design, and all the pockets are well placed. I cant wait to use this pack for future day hikes, overnights, and who knows!.

I purchased this pack for two reasons, first as an EDC backpack. It is excellent for this, very waterproof, great strong zippers. It is a little more set up for a backcountry pack than an urban carrier, so if pockets and laptop sleeves are important to you, it might not be best, but for my needs it works fantastic.

There are two internal pockets which hold stuff I don’t want to fall into the bottom, a large main compartment which is fully accessible with the Y zip, and two brain pockets which are great for pens, keys, and stuff.

I also am using this in my new job as a Wilderness Field Instructor. My job requires me to carry a second pack in the backcountry for emergency gear, usually carried on my front with my regular backpack.

This works very well for that, plenty of room for emergency and personal gear, and the y zip accepts a lock, which is also a requirement. I also appreciate the well padded yoke, the adujstibility of the yoke (it is a different matter wearing the pack backwards) and the removable hipbelt.

Overall, I am happy with this cover. I have not had a chance to test the dustproofedness of it, though. It does a boot job of keeping weather out. When parked in a heavy downpour, it stays bone dry. When driving at freeway speeds it lets a little watter in at either side of the tailgate.

I think it is water draining out of the open end of the rails rather than the forward drains. I will enclose the end of the rail with some caulking, and that should do it. The cover should be 2 in. longer.

Received my Undercover Flex faster than a speeding bullet ; after a study of multiple manufacturers, materials, and designs, along from a Life Line recommendation from a friend The Undercover Flex was chosen.

The quality was evident as soon as I opened the box, instructions proved to be complete and simple enough, however, due to the weight, an additional helper will make the install easier. The cost and value seems to be in check and the overall appearance is very much to my liking.

Deciding which tonneau cover to purchase for my new 2015 Silverado Crew Cab LT 4×4 was not as easy as I anticipated. I wanted good security and protection of cargo, I also wanted a good quality product that would look sharp on the vehicle and hold up to normal use while looking sharp.

I decided on a tri-fold hard cover and after much evaluation, I went with the Undercover Flex. With no sales tax and free shipping, I saved a bunch as opposed to buying at the local truck accessories store.

I recently purchased the g425 3 hybrid with a set of G710 irons. I’m nearly 60 and historically had always hit my irons longer that whom I was playing with. The last few years I found myself “clubbing up” one or two irons due to lack of distance.

I went as far as telling my son my frustrations with accepting old age and made an announcement that I was going to find a set of the most forgiving consistent irons I could find like the old Ping Zings.

Then I saw a set of old zings marketplace 3-9 plus all theee wedges in the correct fitting for me for $80. I bought them and had them cleaned, checked and gripped. Played 8 to 10 rounds with them (30 year old clubs) and didn’t think I could be happier.

For the hell of it one day while out of town I had no clubs with me and played with a demo set of g710 irons with the g425 hybrids. I was completely blown out of the water with both the iron set and hybrids.

I promptly purchased the set of irons and only the G425 3 hybrid as I have a shorter rescue that I will never part with and a driver that works incredibly well for me. I am consistently hitting the G425 3 hybrid 235 to 240 yards.

I am stunned at the distance and accuracy. I can absolutely count on putting it on the mark from that far out 98 percent of the time. The random mis hits have been my fault but still left me with a long playable shot.

I am a lifelong slicer with driver (I call it a “power fade” and have been showing up on the tee box on many tight holes with this hybrid since it hits so straight. Did not think I would have a new go to club in the bag so quickly.

I’m an average to above average amature golfer with a swing speed of 110-115 mph. I recently bought a Ping 3 hybrid stiff shaft to replace my 3 iron and fill the gap in yardage between my 5 wood, which typically plays 230-250 yds.

I’m hitting shots and greens with the Ping 3 hybrid that I’ve never hit before from 220 with ease. My 3 iron had a range of about 190-210 yards, however, I’ve always had trouble hitting my 3 iron straight.

For this reason I used my 3 iron maybe once or twice per round, only when I couldnt logically play something else. Shots with the Ping 3 hybrid feel pure no matter what the lie is or the conditions, i.

e. wind/rain. The club feels light, smooth, and comfortable at contact. Range for me in one season can be tuned from 195 up to 230 yards with ease and no change in swing style. My average distance this season has been 210-220 yards, repeatedly.

The best part is 95% of the shots with this club have been straight and on target. I’ve turned from using this club as a 3 iron replacement into my safe club for any shot over 200 yds and am hitting greens from 220 that I’ve usually had to chip onto when using my 3 iron.

This club is a must have for anyone looking to improve their long iron game or just need to have a safe club in their bag no matter if it’s in the middle of fairway or from the rough. As the title reads, it’s been a game saver and is quickly making its way into a top club choice in my bag.

Now if I can just make all these putts I’m not used to getting.

At first I was apprehensive about this club as Ping states that the club would only fit 10% of golfers. But my fitter stated that the data suggested this was a good fit (as was the G425 Max). He suggested that the LST might help my slight downward swing (attack angle average was -3).

Distance average was 250 yards with relatively tight shot dispersion. After several rounds, I’m glad I trusted my fitter. This club truly is great to hit and has been a fairway finder. We also found the Alta shaft (stiff) was best for my swing.

I have been very pleased with Ping; as I’ve improved in golf I’ve found that Ping clubs have helped my game. This G425 LST provides great distance and the mid to low trajectory I prefer to play. I LOVE the sound the club makes on contact! Again, thank you Ping for making great equipment which has translated into greater enjoyment of the game! One last thought regarding forgiveness as I’m sure readers would wonder.

Compared to the G425 Max this club is less forgiving meaning if you miss high-low or toe-heel, you still may have a playable shot but distance will suffer. The loss in distance for mishits was acceptable when I considered that I was obtaining consistent ball flight with the LST (low to mid trajectory).

Again, highly recommend fitting when shopping for golf clubs. Cheers!.

I bought this drive to supplement the storage capacity of my Xbox Series X for games that I play that are not Series X|S optimized. To that end it’s been perfect. Western Digital put some serious thought into the D30 that make it perfectly suited for this role of second tier external storage.

It’s attractive negating the need to hide it away, it’s built solidy to make it suitable in the role of free standing external storage including the fact that it clips securely into the included stand, and it’s performance is decidedly top tier and current even if not quite as state of the art as Microsoft’s velocity architecture and the proprietary Seagate expansion card or the internal M.

2 options for the PS5 required for current gen games. The first night I had it I downloaded ~450gb worth of fresh installs in a continuous write operation that lasted around 2. 5 hours and didn’t have a single issue, with the enclosure of the drive never seeming to come much above ambient temperatures.

Load times are impressive, obviously it’s silent and overall performance is excellent. Bottom line, this is a quality external SSD purpose built to stand along side the current generation of consoles and in this application it’s second to none.

If you’re looking for an external SSD for your Xbox Series X|S or PS5, look no further than the D30.

Three months impression for 2TB D30: Editing rating from 4-stars to 5-stars. Good buy for less than $100 per TB. Better than 1Gbps transfers between PS5 and D30. D30 remains cool-to-touch during lengthy transfers.

OEM USB-C cable is trash. A certified 10-GBps cable from retailer with the initials “Bravo Bravo” resolves the connectivity issue. First week impressions for 2TB D30: Not the fastest SSD but reasonable given the 100-dollar-per-TB cost.

The included USB-C to USB cable was faulty. PS5 console did not recognizes the D30 when linked to the PS5’s rear USB ports (per Sony instructions). Purchased a quality USB-C to USB certified 10GBps cable locally to resolve the connectivity issue.

Saved the PS4 game files to the D30. The PS4 game saves and PS5 files/saves must stay on the console. (The D30 can save PS5 game files but they must be moved back to the console before playing…) Good build quality on the plastic outer case.

D30 did not get hot during use (yet). Placed the D30 on a 5×5 heatsink block for insurance.

THIS GAME REALLY BROUGHT ME BACK TO CALL OF DUTY AFTER I STOP REALLY CARING FOR THE FRANCHICE AFTER CALL OF DUTY GHOST. I ALWAYS LOVED THE MODERN WARFARE SERIES WHEN I WAS A KID MW2 IS STILL MY FAVIORTE COD.

THIS GAME REALLY BROUGHT BACK A LOT WHAT I LIKED ABOUT THOSE GAMES IN CAMPAGIN AND MUTIPLAYER. THE CAMPAIGN BROUGHT OLD CHARACTERS LIKE CAPTIAIN PRICE BACK AND BROUGHT A DARKER AND GRIDY STORY THAT FELT MORE REALISTIC EVEN COMPARED TO THE ORIGINAL.

THE MULTIPLAYER BROUGHT A LOT OF INNOVATION TO COD NEEDED FOR A LONG TIME BUT ALSO BROUGHT SOME QUESTIONABLE CHANGES LIKE IN THE MINI MAPS AND THE MAP LAYOUT THEMSELVES. BUT OVERALL, I STILL ENJOYED EVEN WITH FLAW IN BOTH THE CAMPAIGN AND MUTIPLAYER IT MADE ME WANT TO BE COD FAN AGAIN.

AFTER FEELING CALL OF DUTY WAS JUST COPYING OTHER GAMES LIKE TITANFALL AND OVERWATH AND EVEN A LITTLE BIT BATTLEFIELD WITH GHOST. BUT THIS FELT MORE FELT LIKE BACK TO FORM COD WITH INNOVATION TO PUSH FORWARD.

SO, FOR ANY COD FAN LIKE MYSELF THAT LEFT THE FRANCHICE I FEEL LIKE THIS IS A GREAT START POINT TO JUMP BACK IN.

Note: I’m writing this review from the perspective of someone with passing familiarity with COD’s single-player campaigns, but who has never logged into a multiplayer map until this edition. I’ve been playing the core Online Multiplayer modes since April 2020, and probably play about 4-5 nights a week.

LOVE: * Leveling is varied and compelling, if a little daunting. Ever-changing daily Missions keep things fresh, weapons upgrade with use— independent of your player level— and weapons have so many unlockables you can evolve most guns to suit multiple play styles.

*The game designers strike me as very committed to keeping things fresh. We’re currently on Season 5: every season has brought a couple new maps, a few new weapons, and several character skins. LIKE: *Game play and engine physics are as tight as you’d expect for a long-lived series.

I’ve rarely lost an encounter where I’ve felt I was the victim of shoddy mechanics— rarely, but it does happen. *Game modes are so varied that there’s bound to be something for any gamers who’ve ever found joy from shooting things with virtual bullets.

I personally have no interest in the Warzone portion of the game, but love the deathmatch and “Domination” modes— especially when playing with friends. MEH: *I rarely run into blatant online jerkery, but when you see/hear it, people can ruin a whole evening and it’s something I think Activision can only do so much to combat.

Racism, misogyny, and garden-variety griefers are just present enough to remind you that we live in a world with some unquestionably awful people. *Maps are varied in design and diverse in size, but about 50% of the standard multiplayer maps I look upon with a scale ranging from “mildly annoying” to “100% avoidable”.

* For as many weapons as there are in the game, several of the classes have a a few redundant-feeling entries (ex: M13 and M4 rifles are separated mostly by a few exclusive attachments. Half the SMG’s are just variations on a theme).

LOATH: *Legacy gameplay quirks! Quick-scoping. Why is this still a thing? Changing directions while sliding. Jumping while shooting?!? (Experience the recoil of a 12 gauge shotgun— or dare say— a. 50 caliber rifle in real life with both feet on the ground and then tell me what you think the likelihood of hitting anything whilst leaping would be.

) I’m not looking for 100% realism from a Call of Duty game, but there are too many players hopping about the map for my practical sensibilities. *Cheaters! Third-party programs/accessories that help you do everything from auto-aim to highlighting enemies are readily available online, and it’s not just a “PC” problem; PS4 hacks are common.

Lately, I feel like every 3rd match I’m reporting someone for blatant cheating. To make matters more frustrating, I’m told in past COD games, Activision was able to identify cheaters and relegate them to “Cheater only servers”.

To my knowledge, they’ve been unable to do that in this version. FINAL THOUGHTS: The good definitely outweighs the bad and I wish I’d given this online experience a chance sooner. Honestly, if Activision could find a way to curtail the rampant cheating, this would be a definite 5-Star review.

Pretty decent game overall I’d like to just point out that the gun sounds are absolutely amazing. The graphics are magnificent and the new design of the game is really astounding. For gamers that like to play fast paced FPS but also like strategic fps, I highly recommend this game.

So far, in my opinion the best COD game ever. The awesome thing is now you can controls tanks and the new ground war mode is historical in COD, never have I seen so many people go face to face in a round of domination ever in COD.

The new attachments are amazing, and the pros and cons of each individual attachment really helps if you don’t know what to put on your m4a1 or your. 50 gs, regardless what gun, this new update has been really helpful to me.

The new field upgrade update allows you to activate a mini kill streak that recharged over time, some field upgrades include trophy system, EMP drones, stopping power rounds, and many more. The new updates in this game are massive and really awesome.

However, Though this game may seem like a utopia for gamers so far, the game will likely be full of trash talkers, if not, campers and people that are AFK, but this will most likely be found in any FPS games so there isn’t much cons to pull this game down, regardless of any cons actually, because COD modern warfare still has many pros to support the fact that this game deserves a 9.

8/10 overall. However I am surprised at the fact that there is not prestige yet and I hope there will be one in further update. For gamers that like a mix of fast paced FPS and games like Rainbow six, COD modern warfare is a perfect mix of both.

The holy grail of touring bindings is a binding that skis like a Look Pivot 18 and walks like a race binding. Is this it? No. Is it close? Kind of. First, walk mode performance: Obviously these things weigh way more than any race binding (or even regular touring binding) and you’ll feel that on long days.

But they otherwise feel like any other pin binding in regular use. That being said, they have a few drawbacks in my mind. 1) The heel riser is less easy to use than the flippy risers on most bindings and there’s only one riser height.

2) You can sometimes walk out of the toe. Even if you lock the toe to the second click (which takes a decent amount of force) the toes can come unclamped when stomping to edge into harder snow or a breakable crust.

This has never happened to me in any other touring binding with the toe locked over hundreds of days of touring, and is quite annoying and could potentially be catastrophic (i. e. if you’re on an icy slope and the ski slides away).

3) The brakes don’t stay stowed. I don’t know why this is so hard to make work properly, but the brakes on these deploy just frequently enough to make it annoying. As for downhill performance: Like uphill performance, in normal use these are great.

They aren’t quite as confidence inspring as Pivots in chunder, but they ski significantly better than any other touring binding that I’ve skied. When you stay attached to them at least. And therein lies the problem – I’m one of the unlucky ones who has had major issues with pre-releases on my shifts.

I’ve had them adjusted by two well respected shops, and I’ve adjusted them myself (I normally mount and adjust all of my bindings on my own but wanted to double check that I wasn’t just making a stupid mistake that was causing this).

In addition to trying the proper setup, I’ve also tried upping my DIN, Cody Townsend’s method of of adjusting the AFD, and adjusting the AFD far higher up than it’s meant to be. In all cases I experienced pre-releases, including once on the transition in between drops on a double cliff drop.

That wasn’t fun. The problem is that the AFD would, over the course of a day, drop down in height. No matter what I did it would always do this. So at the start of the day it would be set properly and ski fine, but after an hour or two the AFD would drop and I would start pre-releasing.

I would adjust it back to the proper height (or even a step or two – or in an extreme case of frustration, several steps) above the proper height) but it would always sink back down. I know a lot of people have had a lot of success with Shifts.

Maybe the techs at the shops I visited were jongs and I’m a complete idiot and none of us adjusted the bindings properly. Or maybe a small (but large enough that there are many reports on the internet of the same) fraction of Shifts have issues with the AFD.

Either way, after taking many a big fall due to pre-release on these guys, I have lost faith in their ability to keep me attached to my skis. Shifts are an incredible idea, and I really hope that they can make something like this work properly in the future, but for now I’m going to stick to regular touring bindings (and maybe a CAST setup for rowdier days if and when I can afford it).

I have never had an issue with a ski binding in my 30+ years as a downhill skier. I had all the same issues as the 1-star reviews you can also read about. However the most irritating thing about my Shifts is they have destroyed my skis.

I had them mounted on a pair of Stance 102s. The toepiece has fully stripped out of the ski 3 times. Literally the screws ripped out of the topsheet. So I had my brand new skis remounted twice last season.

On the 2nd day of skiing this year, the binding was showing signs of stripping out again. The toepieces were 2-5mm off of the topsheet again. So they need to be mounted for the 3rd and final time. I wanted to put a new binding on them but since they’ve been mounted so many times and there are holes everywhere, I cannot mount any other type of binding.

So my new skis are essentially trash. Salomon sent the shop new bindings as a warranty claim but would not warranty the skis.

Got the pack for climbing, but found it’ll also be the perfect size for hike & fly paragliding missions, as it fits my equipment perfectly including the helmet. Reasonably affordable compared to other, specialized ultra light packs.

I needed something with an outside rope attachment and way to attach ice tools. Even the helmet can fit outside with some fiddling. I like that it sits low on the back and doesn’t hit the back of my head when looking up, even though I’m short (5.

3). The only thing I could wish this pack had is a tightening system for days where the pack isn’t full. But then it’d be less minimalist. so I might just bring a strap to put around it! Heard great things about durability, but as I only bought it recently I can’t comment on that yet.

I grabbed this bag as a smaller alternative to lugging a full-sized backpack or duffle to and from the climbing gym. It holds my harness, bouldering brushes, and chalk pot as well as a windbreaker, crag shoes or sandals as well as keys, phone, etc.

I’ve even fit my belay devices, slings, and extra equipment. The big main pocket is spacious and with the zipper extending to almost half the bag’s length you can easily grab what you need from the bottom without pulling gear out first.

The red loops will fit a smaller carabiner as well to hang shoes or water bottles off. Haven’t hike or day tripped with it but I imagine its just as great for a short hike or lake day bag. Easy to wash and hang dry as well.

Highly recommend!.

The pack is just the right size for carrying on a multi pitch excursion. However, there are a few flaws/missing features: – Would be nice to have a sleeve to store a bladder/hydration system – Internal pocket is really small.

I just bought a new google pixel 6, and my phone doesn’t even fit in the pocket. – Not as sturdy as I thought it was going to be. Dragged it up 1 chimney and I’m already noticing some small tears in the fabric.

– Side pocket meant for guide book is too small to fit a supertopo book. Not sure what I am going to use that pocket for now, it’s kind of useless.

Pretty much all of the bad reviews of this product are spot on. Straight out of the box I plugged it in and the connection was super spotty and unusable. The 1/4” end fits nicely but the 3. 5mm connection requires some really fine grained fiddling to get working and then wont stay in position.

Dont be like me and waste your time and/or money. Buy somethinf that actually works. Never buying BestBuy Essentials ever again :(.

This was to replace a similar item because my headphone plug seemed loose in the old adapter. This new one looks strikingly similar to the one I replaced, and has the same issue. A little annoyed. Should have probably spent more money for a better quality.

Needed for home production studio.

Seems defective. Plugged it into my keyboard and frequently get a buzzing sound or audio cutout in one headphone. Tried three different pairs of headphones (two brand new, one known to work) and get same thing.

Tried jiggling the adapter and headphones separately to test the connection and it seems to be the adapter.

Both my husband and I own these. We are very different weights, boot sizes, and skiers, and we both love the uphill and downhill performance of these boots. So far, we have not found any other touring boot that is as solid as this boot.

My husband wears a 27. 5 and is a former racer. He sized up for what he would normally wear in an alpine boot (race or freeride). He says that the performance and stiffness of the boot make you have confidence in your ability to ski down anything with these.

You don’t have to worry about making a softer turn to accommodate a soft boot. They are light, have great range of motion, and easy in/out of walk mode. He has used both the stock liner and an intuition liner in these.

I wear a 22. 5, which is consistent with my alpine boots. If you have a high arch/instep, these might be a bit difficult to get on but are true to size once your foot is in. The performance uphill and downhill is spot on.

It’s really nice to not have to get a soft women’s-specific boot for once. The only con is that the lightweight “loop” buckles are hard to buckle when your hands are frozen.

I’ve skied in them once so far so this is the first hot take on them. Also it was resort skiing not bc, as I wanted to see how they ski in some controlled environment. They are light. They ski well, I really like how they ski.

As others said they seem to put you more on your heals but they are very precise. They take your skis where you want them to. They size is bigger then on paper, I compared them with maestrale rs, the same size.

Also they look very narrow but they have actually quite a bit of room. shells also can be customized a lot, my left foot is bigger and the boot was too tight in a couple of places. It was molded so it fits like a glow right now.

The screws for the angle adjustment are sized or so tight that they won’t move. You will strip them if you try too hard. They seem also soft. Another person with the same boot at the mountain shop had the exact same problem so it is not just main.

The shop couldn’t unscrew them so basically it could end up being warranty work if you need it adjusted. I have to ski some more to decide but I think I’m fine with the 12 degree angle. They gave few more screws so if you end up striping them but getting them out you can replace them.

This follows years a couple of years of use, after years of using the Dynafit TLT 5s and 6CRs. While not quite as nimble on the up, they are solid on the down. I can’t evaluate the flex ratings due to limited understanding / experience, but if they are 125 they seem like a relatively soft boot compared to old Lange bang black 130s.

Possibly it’s the greater amount of play. I’m wearing these in 29. 5 but wear Dynafits in 29. But I think not: they feel like they fit well, and I’m not sure I’ve even baked them yet except by use. There is no slop: it’s a tight boot on and off piste.

It does tour very comfortably, and that’s likely an indication of some softness in the right place. They drive everything from 80s to 108s. They are thus far warm (no extreme outings yet). I have not toured extensively in these, because other boots I own tour better (only in my mind perhaps).

I would use them without hesitation if the touring involved some serious skiing objectives. For alpine climbing, they seem slightly big and heavy, but that is what I used for years before these comfortable boots which perform well.

It’s only when compared with very nimble contemporary ski mountaineering boots that they seem larger. They would be fine for snow and ice up to grade 3. I would find climbing grade 4 and up challenging (as it is anyway), and if long, exhausting with these.

They are not especially heavy, especially for a 4 buckle driver. Interestingly, my son, whose feet are about 11. 5 to my 12, can’t even get his high volume (big arch and shovel like forefoot) foot into these boots at all.

The construction may not be for certain foot shapes, just like any boot. These are my favorite boots and I’ve been lucky to have good ones before them fit by the great folks at skimo.

Obviously saddle comfort depends greatly on one’s body. However, the phenom with mimic was instantly comfortable to me in a variety of settings. Long pedal days or steep and fast, I had zero pain wherever I needed to position myself on this saddle.

I especially liked the flat nose and low profile padding. When dropping for tech or descents it was completely out of the way. Outside of comfort, the MIMIC prevents the need for a cut out. I tend to avoid cut-outs on mtb saddles because they allow mud and water through from the back wheel.

Sadly I don’t see this saddle lasting long for aggressive riders. On finishing my first ride on this saddle a chunk of the plastic edging had chipped off. I hadn’t crashed or felt it hit anything. Most mtb saddles have abrasion resistant material along the rear edges to prevent this.

I’ll ride this saddle as long as the vulnerable plastic edge holds up. Aside from this design flaw, excellent saddle.

Before gettting this saddle I did some research with Speiczlied. I learned that the MIMIC technology, although designed for women, can be used for men in order to alleviate pressure in the groin area.

The MIMIC technology allows the pressure points on your sit bones to balance across the entire area of where you’re sitting, rather than just on your sitbones. As someone who frequently rides for more than 5 or 6 hours at a time, I found that this saddle did exactly what it was meant to do.

For me, it did a much better job than the regular Specialized Power saddle (without Mimic) at relieving pressure points, which allowed me to ride longer and more comfortably. Aside from the Mimic technology, I really found a favorite in the power saddle.

Personally, I found that once I set up the saddle correctly, the shape of the saddle actually allowed me to pedal more strongly than with other saddles I’ve used in the past. It is worth noting that because the saddle is shorter than others it will require a different setup on the fore and aft positions than other saddles might.

It’s also worth noting that this saddle is going to be more aggressive than other saddles in both the cutout and support. When Specialized created this saddle they meant it to be for power. That being said, due to the shorter nose, there is less room to move forward and backward on the saddle, so if that’s something you’re looking to have on longer rides, you may want to consider something like the Romin saddle.

If you’ve tried this saddle and have found that it doesn’t fit well for you, I would personally recommend trying the Power Arc saddle as it has a slightly different curve but the same intended design.

Overall this is a great saddle to start with if you’re looking for a new saddle for road, gravel, cyclocross, or mountain. It’s a saddle that does really well across all disciplines.

I don’t typically write reviews. But since I’ve been peppered with emails, ask and you shall receive. The club is fantastic. Love it so much, I’ve ordered the 4 & 5 hybrids as well. I’m a 12 handicap, and mid/long iron play is certainly the weakest part of my game.

I believe these hybrids will be significant in getting me into single digits for my handicap. Now that you have my plug, here’s my issue. I’m left handed. It is INCREDIBLY frustrating to have to order my clubs custom, just to get the STOCK Shaft, and STOCK Loft/s that are available in the same clubs that are right handed.

I get it from a Manufacturing and Inventory standpoint. However, it is no less frustrating. I would have preferred to order the G410 hybrids in 4 & 5 to match my existing 3. But, I could not order them with the STOCK PING SHAFT, even though they are available in right hand.

So, I had to spend an extra $50 per club to order the 4 & 5 in the G425 newer model just to be able to get the STOCK Shaft that I need. And on top of that, I had to order them Custom just to get that particular shaft, so I am still waiting for those clubs to ship, despite ordering them over 2 weeks ago.

If I were right handed, I could have ordered the G410 model, qualified for free 2nd day shipping, and saved over $100. All because I need a particular STOCK Shaft. As far as that goes, I’m a disappointed and disgruntled customer.

The club is awesome though, thank you for asking me to provide a review, multiple times.

The Strive is new for next year and being that I have been a die-hard STH fan for years I was a little skeptical at first. It did not take me long, however, the recognize that Salomon had produced another quality product, appealing to a wide range of skiers.

With the lower profile, it gives a closer feel (the lower stack height) to the ski, which seemed to offer better steering of the ski, which was evident on the wider-set QST 106. I am a person who likes to ski fast, especially on groomer days where 70mph is reached with regularity.

When I heard the Strive 14 is noticeably lighter, even with the added metal, there was pause for concern. My fears were soon relieved, however, while it is lighter the Strive does not sacrifice torsional rigidity when laying it over on a high-speed GS turn.

The lighter binding was also a plus when I went hiking OB in search of freshies. As is the gold standard with Salomon bindings, exit and entry is always smooth. I cannot speak to the release qualities of the Strive when an unexpected departure occurs, but if these bindings are anything like their predecessors, they have the approval of every orthopedic surgeon in the business.

Upon first seeing the Strive binding, the toe piece was the most noticeable change to jump out to me but don’t let that fool you. It is the same feel that we have come to know and love from the Salomon binding line.

The Salomon Strive is lower to the ski allowing for a considerable improvement on feel of the ski and terrain to the skier, and is also laterally stiffer giving the skier quicker response to movements.

The first run on this binding was a new experience as to what a high end legit binding should feel like. Being lower to the snow I could feel more of the terrain and the stiffness of the binding was very noticeable.

The Strive skis really similar to the other models in the line but is a refined platform that is lighter, stiffer, and compatible with a wide range of boots because it has a sliding AFD and auto toe wings so no adjustment is needed.

I was intrigued by the new design and put it to the test in the shop and on the hill. In the shop it was one of the truest release tests I’ve seen, and on the hill there were zero issues with a wide range of conditions and a variety of boots.

I would definitely recommend this binding with confidence to anyone who will listen.

Salomon’s new Strive 14 din binding is a game changer! The comfort of the STH down hill binding, in a new extremely lightweight package. To be honest with you, I dont not have any other binding companies to compare the Strive binding to because I have only skied salomon bingings since the 90s.

But this new binding from Salomon is a giant leap from the sth bindings of yester year. The new Strive has a streamlined lower profile on the ski, and its light, super light. When I first picked up the box I thought it was just one binding, they are that much lighter in weight.

Salomon’s trusted bindling in an all new and improved package, sign me up!.

I got the leo zodiac pack. The colours are so nice and work well together. Th texture is so soft. I can’t wait till I start knitting with it.

Having never quite been totally comfortable over the years, I have swapped saddles around quite often. I know that saddles are very personal, but maybe the info below will help others before splurging on this.

Fizik Arione- Used for two years- OK but started feeling pressure points and the occasional saddle sore in rides over 100 miles in the same spot. Fizik Arione R1 Versus Evo- Full channel cut out, the fixed the pressure point, but I cracked the base on several of these and had to warranty them.

Once the base cracked, I developed saddle sores in the same spot as before. Prologo dimension- My first short nose saddle, came on my CX bike. Felt OK off road but did not get on with it on my road bike.

Specialized Power Comp- Came stock on my Venge. It felt very strange- not uncomfortable, just strange compared to my Arione Versus. I also didn’t like the look of it, letting vanity prevail I sold it online and used the Fizik Versus again.

Fast forward another year, with both Arione VS Evo’s cracked (this was the second warranty now) I decided to chance it and go back to power saddles. I ordered a Power Comp and if need be, would use on my CX bike.

It took a little getting used to, but the difference was night and day. Wider platform to sit on, just check you get the right width as your thighs could rub the back of the saddle. Went ahead for the Power Carbon on my SL7 and its been great- a little less padding than the Comp and Expert but very supportive.

The only caveat is the saddle does rotate your pelvis slightly forward, and you will find your hamstrings burning the first few rides. Great saddle, works for me.

Sit bone width 113 Saddle width 143 After spending a season on the Specialized Power Saddle, I found that there were some pressure points that developed for me over some of my longer rides. After a bit of research I found that the Specialized Power Arc saddle was specifically with a different curve than the original Power saddle.

This means that if you want a Power saddle but you felt like the original power didn’t fit well for you, then this is your answer. For me this was the case. I found that I was able to ride on this saddle more comfortably and for longer than I was able to ride on the sister saddle.

I also found that by comparison, I lost none of the gains in power that the saddle allowed me to have. That being said, this still isn’t a great long distance saddle. You’re going to be much better off using the Romin saddle if you want a similar fit for anything longer than 70-80 miles of riding.

The overall design of the saddle is perfect for allowing you to put down the power. The shape of the saddle in the rear is more flat, and the middle cutout makes it ideal for any type of riding, road, gravel or mountain.

The shorter nose allows for more aggressive positioning when needed although you should note that you will likely need to make some fore and aft adjustments to your regular saddle position by comparison.

Between this saddle and the Power Arc saddle, if you’re on the hunt for a new seat, I firmly believe that you’ll find a great fit on one or the other of the two after trying both.

I like the fit and feel but after only a week and about 4 rides covering only 20 total miles I now feel the saddle shifting on the two rear saddle-to-rail mount points. Also, when off the bike, I can flex the saddle with my hands and feel the play in the two rear saddle-to-rail connecting points.

Not good for a $140 saddle. Maybe the LBS has a replacement or maybe I will put the original Repente on, or try a Selle Anatomica. I’d rather have a well-made Pro Comp.

Picked this up as my wife is a complete beginner. Figured for the money, it would be a great bike to learn on and I was not disappointed! She feels confident riding it and has had no issues learning to use the shifters (she has only ever used twist grip shifters).

Although the components on the bike are entirely entry level, they seem to work just fine for her as they are better than she is used to. I am sure that after a year, we will either by an upgraded model, or just upgrade the components on this one.

I took a Star off the rating specifically for the mechanical Disc brakes which for this bike is the only downside. She doesn’t know it, but to me, they take a lot to get them to stop the bike. Maybe I’m just spoiled by hydrolic brakes.

The Sport 29 has them (the bike I shopped for) but I was unable to locate one in the size and color (GLOSS ICE PAPAYA) within 100 miles. She doesn’t know the difference though. yet. All and all, great bike for the absolute beginner!.

I have a 2020 29er Rockhopper Comp and I love the bike it is perfect for beginners and intermediate riders, however the Walmart $69-$89 Suntour “xct” forks the you guys putting on these $1000+ bikes are and is highly disappointing 👎I’ve had nothing but problems with mine I hope that when I decide to buy my next one this year it will have better forks Specialized is the only bike I buy and ride come guys don’t skimp out on the forks besides the tire it’s like jewelry its the first thing people look at and draw their opinion from about the rest of the bike I mean cheap forks, cheap made bike, less customers, less money for growth thanks for taking the time to read my review.

My son loves this bike. It came shipped. Packaging was great and pretty easy to “reassemble. ” I’m thrilled with the price and the quality of the bike. Eric’s is the best. I will only buy from them (20+ years of experience with their company).
