A compact stroller for travel is a stroller that can be easily folded and stored in a small space. This type of stroller is perfect for traveling because it doesn’t take up a lot of room and can be easily carried on a plane or in a car.
Most compact strollers have a few basic features, such as a sunshade, storage basket, and cup holder. Some of the more expensive models may also have features such as a reclining seat, adjustable leg rest, and a footrest.

Reviews From Real Customers
I bought this stroller specifically for air travel. After purchasing the stroller I saw in a few reviews online that airlines do not accept the stroller to be stowed overhead on the plane. I have two children, one 16 months and the other 5 years, waiting at the gate for the airline crew to bring my stroller was not fun and I would usually have to wait till everyone got off the plane.
I took the stroller with me for international travel and I am pleased to say that the airline had no problem with me taking the stroller on board and it fit perfectly in the overhead. This stroller is great for travel, easy to open, light, moves with ease and easily stowed.
We mainly needed a stroller fit for our international air travel but as an on the go mom on the in the city, the Mountain Buggy exceeded my limits for a stroller that was small and multifunctional. The Nano has really been a lifesaver that folds small enough to bring on the plane and placed in the overhead bin.
Traveling solo with the kids could have never been so easier after discovering the Nano. Normally if we take connection flights, we won’t receive our stroll until we reach the end of our destination.
This means when connecting to over the next flight we will be stroller less while connecting! Just imagine being stuck carrying an 18-pound infant and a carryon bag while trying to catch your next flight! It’s one of the most stressful experiences to have while traveling with kids soo! Another great feature for me as a mom is that it’s lightweight and not a bulky stroller like the one we use to travel with.
I used to spend so much time trying to break down my two piece heavy stroller getting into taxis and boarding the plane. Thanks to the Nano It only requires a light touch with two hands to fold this bad boy! Not only do I love the Nano for myself needs while on the go but the recline on the Nano makes me feel at ease while on the go with my infant son and ensuring that he’s comfortable wheater I’m running around doing earrings or exploring a new city! the Nano also has a shaded cover to keep the sun or weathering out of babies face.
We purchased this stroller specifically for traveling. As most parents know, you almost need a vacation after packing for the vacation itself. What we love about this stroller: It is lightweight, compact, and folds up in a matter of seconds.
We are able to keep our daughter in it while navigating through airport security, and then at the last minute, can pull her out and fold up the stroller in seconds without holding up the line. The back rest is adjustable.
We purchased an infant car seat insert so that we could begin using this at 3 months. Our daughter has always comfortably sat in it and we are able to adjust the back low enough so that she can lay down and nap.
Our Nuna Pipa infant car seat worked perfectly with the stroller without needing any additional attachments. It glides smoothly! Would highly recommend! I searched and reviewed so many compact strollers before making this purchase.
This stroller has actually replaced our Nuna Mixx Stroller as it is so much more convenient and easier to navigate through all sorts of places, the zoo, mall, etc. As we are expecting baby number 2, I am so excited to check out the double stroller by Mountain Buggy!.
Use the Summer 3Dlite+ Convenience stroller as a lightweight stroller for everyday or as a travel stroller. It’s durable, with premium fabrics and stitching, and has parent-friendly features like an extra-large storage basket and more.
The lightweight baby stroller has an aluminum frame and weighs only 14 pounds. It has a one-hand, multi-position adjustable recline seat with a 5-point safety harness. Dimensions: 41. 3 x 10. 2 x 9. 4 inches.
I have another more expensive convenience stroller for travel and realized that I needed a stroller that could recline and a good canopy. This stroller is it! Great for travel. While I can’t pack it in the overhead bin like my other one it has everything I could ask for a stroller I can take on trips at a great price point.
I absolutely love the herringbone pattern as it looks more lux. Storage space, pockets, cup holder and phone holder are great additional touches. The seat seems comfortable and the straps are adjustable.
It’s easy to fold up and pack up. It can be steered with one hand when traveling on my own with luggage. I will need to test it longer to see how long it lasts.
This product literally fell apart after 3 months of use by our single child who is 28lbs. I contacted customer service, and because I had purchased it a few months before removing it from the box, they just said, don’t use the stroller, but you need to purchase a new one.
Not even so much as a ‘what broke on it?’ Considering it was not use that broke it, but the plastic piece that aids the folding process. Absolutely due to faulty equipment that obviously they have had a constant issue with.
Do not purchase. This company scams you by selling you an inferior product hoping you will buy another instead of getting smart and buying something that lasts longer for cheaper.
I absolutely love the light weight & compact design! I can fold this guy with one hand. ( I’ve had two of the same model) This stroller has been everywhere, coast to coast. Is a great running through the airport stroller.
I dislike that it will flip on a dime, don’t ever put anything on the handles for even a second. If baby is at a full recline the storage is not going to be available. The back tires are going to wear out quickly.

I bought this stroller to have while flying solo with my 7 month old. Pros: stroller is super small and easy to transport. I still had to gate check it, but that was more the airlines decision than mine.
I bought the carry bag made for it, and when fully collapsed, it fits in the bag no problem. This stroller is also very lightweight and maneuverable. I’m 5’9”, and this stroller was tall enough for me to use without feeling hunched over.
The harness is also easy and quick to clasp. Cons: the sunshade on this thing is mostly useless. Doesn’t protect baby from sun at all. It’s only use for my was providing me with a place on which to clip my water bottle.
The cargo area is really small and kinda hard to get to when baby is in stroller. It can hold my phone and a toy at most. It’s also tricky to get it to collapse. Not enough that I will return it, just enough to be annoying when you’re already travel stressing.
Overall, I like how small and portable this stroller is. I will still use my big stroller for walks around outside, but this is a much easier option to have while air traveling.
This stroller has truly been a game changer for our family. We previously used an Uppababy Cruz as our primary stroller (which is an absolutely excellent model—no complaints). But the GB Pockit All-City has become our primary for everyday use, for a few reasons.
-It takes up so little space in a car trunk, and is so light that it can be carried (folded) if needed. -It folds and unfolds with ease. -It seems to be a pretty smooth ride for an ultra-compact. There are trade offs as well, though, but for our part they’re worth it: -Super compact means less storage space and less of a solid-feeling ride when pushing the stroller around.
(It’s not unstable, but pushing one-handed can be tricky, for example. ) …actually, that’s kind of the only drawback that really resonate for us. We take this stroller everywhere and absolutely love it.
Pros- folds small. Very small and I love that. Also very sleek and able to fit thru lots of aisles. Lightweight and easy to carry. Cons- Baby can easily get out of the harness once older. Baby literally can sit up because the harness just gets tight when you pull the straps at each end and gets loose quickly.
Another con- The area underneath to put stuff in is so so small. Can barely fit a purse. Also the sun canopy is pretty useless. It’s so high up that it really can’t and doesn’t protect the sun! And another con is that it looks very uncomfortable for the babies back.
It is at a weird position where it doesn’t change if the baby sleeps or wants to actually sit up. Imagine a position in between. Overall, nice sleek design. Gets job done as long as baby doesn’t climb out and is very easy to carry/open& close.
Travel light with this Kolcraft stroller that was designed for the mobility. The Kolcraft Cloud Plus has all of the features parents want from their everyday stroller, but in a compact, travel-friendly format that’s comparable to an umbrella stroller.
This stroller is perfect for traveling and day trips with a compact fold and lightweight design and accommodates children up to 50 lbs. Dimensions: 12″ x 18″ x 34″.
I was very happy with this product. It was actually better than I thought it would be. Very sturdy and easy to maneuver. My only complaint is that it is difficult to fold up. I finally figured out that the front wheels have to face inward in order for the stroller to fold up flat.
I definitely do not see how they say it can close with one hand. Also be aware the wheels are plastic and not rubber. Otherwise, I am very happy with this product.
This stroller is great. We bought this for a great grand baby that stays with us. We had damage to our house and are staying in a hotel for a few months. It was hard trying to carry her up and down through the hotel.
We bought this stroller and I put her in it several times a day and we walk all over the hotel and to all of the eating and shopping places in the area. The space underneath is roomy enough I can put her bottle, bib wipes and a couple of diapers.
The cup holders work great too. It was easy to put together and its easy to fold, very lightweight and rolls very easy.
I love the lightness of this stroller! I can open and close the stroller while holding my 8 month old. It’s half the weight of my original stroller. It’s also more narrow like umbrella strollers which makes it easier to maneuver in tight spaces.
A few notes though, the cup holders would be nice, but they are too narrow for most infant cups. Only really fits adult plastic bottles. My son uses his cup holder as a bowl for his snacks! I bought a stroller organizer to carry his sippy cups.
The stroller doesn’t lay flat, more like goes down halfway. The stoller clip that secures the stroller when closed is plastic and a little too long to clip in when the stroller is completely closed. I tend to not really use it since the stroller stays together pretty well when closed.
The 5 point straps are easy to open and close which is wonderful when you’re trying to get a child in and out quickly! They can be used as a 3 point strap. The only thing is the two additional straps can’t be removed from the stroller.
I just wrapped them into themselves and they’ve stayed pretty secure and out of my son’s way. On the plus side, the handlebars are nicely padded and the height is nice since I’m only 5’1. Easy to steer since it’s one long handlebar.
Overall I love this stroller, it has made traveling so much easier, especially flying since sometimes I travel on my own. I have so much more trunk space now! For the price it’s a really efficient, light comfortable stroller.
Ultra-lightweight travel stroller weighs only 14 lb, with a compact and easy-to-maneuver design Create a travel system by adding a Baby Jogger infant car seat using adapters (car seat and adapters sold separately).
Note: Stroller is not intended for jogging Ultra-compact, one-step fold and auto-lock ensures easy transportation and storage Multi-position padded seat reclines to a near-flat position, and adjustable calf support provides comfort for growing children Includes carry bag to protect stroller from dirt and scratches when traveling.
I purchased this product for my second baby and I have really been impressed. I already owned the baby jogger summit jogging stroller but wanted an everyday use stroller that wouldn’t take up space. I considered the Doona but couldn’t justify the price for something that would maybe be able to be used a year.
This stroller is perfect! It is a trifold so it folds super small and is easy to maneuver in small spaces and stores. It will also be able to be used for years as my child grows. The car seat is great also.
I love how you don’t have to feed the straps as baby grows. You just adjust the strap height with a simple click. It also has great head support and my baby always seems very comfortable.
We have enjoyed the carseat, it has felt safe and secure. Beyond that, the frame of the stroller has scratched very easy. Often times when I attempt to fold up the stroller, the wheels will get caught and prevent from latching.
The brake for the stroller has become less reliable over time and takes more effort. My mother has arthritis and struggles to move the carrying handle on the carseat. For the price of the product, we are disappointed with the overall quality of materials and reliability.
I wish we would have used it more before the return period so we would have learned how we did not like it.
I got a BOB stroller when my baby was born, since it’s extremely big, and super heavy I really don’t take it anywhere unless my husband is with me to help with loading and unloading and opening and closing it back up.
I opted for this one vs the mini gt because I was sold on it being compact, and being able to fold it with one hand. Well it is compact which is about the only thing I like! I’m unable to close it with one hand, and the seat doesn’t have much padding on the seat for my baby so I can’t imagine it being comfortable to sit on for longer periods of times.
I think I’m just going to return and maybe for the baby zen yoyo stroller might have more padding on it for my baby.

I’ve been using this as my secondary stroller for about two months. Purchased for an upcoming vacation where I would be traveling without my pack mule—I mean husband. I was able to manage it one-handed through airport security, the canopy was large and sturdy enough for me to balance my infant car seat across it as I pushed through the airport, and the basket underneath was large enough to hold my Chicco Quickseat.
Couldn’t have been happier with the way it allowed me to tote all my gear to the gate solo while still folding up pretty small! My only complaints about this stroller are minor and manageable, but just annoying enough to keep my review a 4-star.
First, as so many others have said this stroller just does not stay folded and latched well. My biggest issue is the foot rest pops out again and again for not apparent reason. Also, if you grab it by it’s handle (the place your hand with go by instinct every time) instead of the tiny intended carry “handle” (a bit of strap on the seat of the stroller) it immediately begins to open.
The design of the straps is a bit fiddly, as you have to line up a small groove to get it all snapped together. This was ok for me once I got used to it, but made it impossible for those who were not familiar with the stroller to buckle her in, especially grandparents with poor eyesight! My last complaint is that the crotch strap always looks terribly uncomfortable on my kid, she slides to one side and ends up with it looking like it’s cutting into her thigh, but she’s never indicated that she’s actually uncomfortable.
Overall this is a great option if you’re looking for a smaller secondary or travel stroller but don’t expect the perfection you will get with a full-sized stroller or top of the line travel stroller.
I received this product for free as a part of the weeSpring parent panel. My review of the product is not influenced by this fact. We have the tried and true original graco stroller, the kind that comes with the infant car seat.
That thing had seen a lot of miles and truthfully it was worn down and while it still had a lot of life in it, there were some features I didn’t like about it. Primarily it was big, bulky, heavy, and it didn’t steer well.
Getting this stroller was a breath of fresh air, truthfully. The stroller is like, almost weightless. It’s super lightweight which makes it easy to get it in and out of my SUV. I take the stroller with me almost everywhere because my daughter, like any two year old, is boiling over with energy.
It makes it difficult to do simple things like visit the vet or the post office or get a hair cut without having some way to contain and entertain her for just a hot minute. It folds up nicely and the included storage bag is a nice touch, it’s an easy way to tuck it away and not have it roll away or stolen by mischievous toddlers! This stroller steers beautifully! It was easy to control, even with one hand.
It listens and cooperates, which I was worried about because that was a big problem I had with my other graco click stroller. It doesn’t click, clack, whirr or thud like my other stroller did, and even when jogging or walking briskly, you’re not going to have any trouble with it.
My husband is 6’3″ and found this stroller comfortable to use, just as I did at 5’3″ which is a huge bonus! This stroller comes together in literally minutes. It’s so easy to put together that my two year old did it for me once I showed her where to put the wheels.
It took me longer to unbox it than it did to put it together. It does have a very chemical smell right out of the box but that dissipates very quickly and I think it’s from the dye used on the fabric, so it’s pretty harmless factory smells, haha.
It seems to be comfortable, my daughter is pretty picky about strollers and has sometimes complained about our other stroller, but she doesn’t make a peep in this one. She loves the little kick-out foot rest that lets her lie with her feet out.
She likes it so much that she even put her pillow in it and lies in it to watch videos with her favorite blanket. On to the things that I didn’t like or I was rather indifferent on: The handle is rather uncomfortable, I liked the rubberized grip but it was just something about the angle of the handle itself that made it uncomfortable.
The flat spot in the middle is claimed by the lever mechanism that allows you to fold up the stroller, so you either have to deal with uncomfortable grips or comfortable grip with an additional lever.
There’s nowhere to put anything. You have the small bin at the bottom under the seat, which is great, but you have nowhere for a bottle of water or powerade while you’re out running. There’s even a cheeky little message on the back of the canopy to not dangle or hang anything on the stroller! This is because they offer to sell you the drink holder as an attachment, which I feel is very money grabbing.
I like the idea of being able to customize a stroller to the things I need or want, but at the very least, give me somewhere or something to put my keys in while I am out jogging, and I need a place for a water bottle! I could put both in the bin at the bottom, but that requires me to stop to fetch my drink and if I’m in the groove, that’s a bit silly.
The harness is a bit flimsey and the shoulder straps are a bit hard to connect with the waist straps. It kind of feels like Graco was trying to reinvent the wheel here, as they have this channel you’re supposed to slide the clips into one another to make a whole piece and then click it into the button mechanism.
I preferred the type that slide into one another, where a tab goes through an open box sort of clip. While on the topic of the harness, the button mechanism to undo the harness, well, my kid figured that out in 0.
002 seconds. I can’t tell you how many times I had to stop to buckle her back in. It’s a giant round button that releases the harness with minimal amounts of pressure, the only way it could have been worse was if it was painted red with “Press Me!” on it.
Sometimes the mechanism feels like it jams and you’ve got to fight it to get one of the two clips out of it. It’s finnicky and I think it could have been designed a lot better. I do like how it matches the overall aesthetic, and is pretty slick and sleek looking.
Overall, I think it’s a great stroller with room for improvement, but a lot of my issues were personal preferences if anything else.

From Inglesina, this stroller features:Inglesina Quid: ready for boarding! – The leg rest can be adjusted so that your baby will always have the correct posture, both during walks to discover the world and during naps. – The seat dimensions are very generous for a stroller of this kind, in order to provide the highest wellness for your baby.
– In the hottest days (or simply when you’d like to take a peek at your baby), simply lift the flap on top of the hood. – The bumper bar can easily be removed. – Last but not least, when folded, the stroller can stand by itself thanks to a practical center-stand.
– To use from age 3 months to 50lbs – Approx. 13lbs. weight Imported.
We bought this as a secondary stroller because we needed something lightweight and easy to load in the car. It definitely delivers on being lighter and compact when traveling, but the one-handed open feature they advertise is completely false.
I have to shake it, step on it, and finally figured out which bar to manually click into place before putting my kid in without the whole thing folding up on her. Getting it into the compact position is extremely challenging as well.
No matter how hard I tug on the two latches and jostle it, it takes me several tries to get it to fold. The whole experience leaves me red-faced and swearing, especially if I’m holding my 30lb kid at the same time.
However, the actual ride is nice and it maneuvers well, has a nice canopy and a big enough storage basket, and my daughter likes holding onto the bar. The harness is effective, if not a little cumbersome to get on a feral toddler, but I don’t fault them for that.
It’s also held up nicely so far on the gravel trail we like to walk on. Overall, I wish I had gone with a different model but it’s still much better than the clunky stroller we’ve been using up until now.
I love love love my quid, it is so light weight, easy to maneuver even for a petite mama, yet it is so sturdy. I love that I don’t have to compromise on safety, comfort and protection from the elements in order to have a light and compact stroller for making outings easier for my daughter and me.
We love the quid so much that it has become my daughter’s favorite nap spot. It’s so easy to grab, unfold and prop her on it for a ride around the living room for her to fall asleep before we transfer her to her room.
It’s probably crazy to use a stroller indoors but with covid and everything (working from home), it’s been a life saver. It’s so small you can store it under an arm chair and just pop it out when baby gets restless (1.
5 yo for reference), a few laps around the living room, without taking much space and it’s a sleeping baby. For that alone, I’d buy this stroller over and over and over again! Plus, it makes getting out of the house so much faster.
If baby screams that she needs to go outside, a quick grab of the stroller under one arm, baby on the opposite hip, quick run down the stairs, and with one push, stroller is deployed and baby can’t wait to get in it.
It has made our lives so much easier. Thank you Inglesina. I feel baby is safe, comfortable and I don’t have to compromise on style either. It just looks so darn chic!.
Wow, this super lightweight stroller is seriously sturdy! I live in a hilly, grassy, cobblestone area and can easily maneuver it one-handed! Highly recommend the bag for travel, to make things super easy.
I like how easy it is to open and close. Unlike a lot of other strollers I’ve tried and owned, the seat can recline up and down (by a lot) making it perfect for when my 2 yr old wants to be very upright or lay back and take a nap.
The Cybex Eezy S+2 Stroller enables you to take on the challenges of family travel without missing a step. As a 3-in-1 Travel System, the Eezy S+2 frame is compatible with a seat unit, the Cot S and an infant car seat, taking you from the car to the streets in style.
Stellar Product Test Panel provided me this product as part of a testing pane. The design of the stroller was quite the surprise. Initially the sleek looking design looked like it was going to be quite fragile.
However I felt that after a few spins around the pool on our recent vacation, my wife and I were pleasantly surprised with quite a few features. First and foremost the initially fragile looking design ended up being one of our favorite things of the stroller.
Not bulky looking and not a lot of pieces to get in the way. The compactness of the stroller allowed for very easy maneuverability in tight spaces. Maneuverability was the item that I appreciated the most out of the stroller, but I the same attributes that allow that to be the case, probably caused one of my biggest complaints about the stroller.
The design of the seat was, again, sleek and just in line with my expectations of a stroller of this kind. The footrest and the basket underneath left a little to be desired. The footrest appeared a little flimsy, and with kids who will always be testing the limits of things I’m worried it wont hold up regarding wear and tear.
The basket underneath is a little difficult to get to, and isn’t much by way of storage ability. Sunshade was very appropriate coverage. Folding the stroller was like a dream, the ease of collapse and the tight space in which it collapsed was a very to impressive.
It also folded up in a way that would allow you to move with one hand if necessary. A lot of other options would not have the ability to be lifted and stowed with one hand. HOWEVER, unfolding the stroller felt unnatural.
A little extra stress on the forearms for the angle required to most efficiently unfold the stroller. Stroller was great for moving and shaking on vacation, both making tight moves around the pool and restaurants.
However anywhere there may have been a vertical grade difference (uneven sidewalk) the smaller wheels would make it slightly more difficult to execute the transition from one level to the next. Bigger wheels would allow a stroller to traverse bigger height disparities on the ground more easily.
An item that I think could be improved on this stroller. Regular road/path/inside movement was great, but there was still quite the disruption in the ride if running over a rough patch, or a medium sized (or bigger) rock.
While the maneuverability was the best thing about the stroller it also lead to some unevenness with extra pressure on the handle bar. Having multiple children they’re always getting themselves in the middle of where you are and what you are trying to do.
So them getting inbetween me or my wife and the handbar was a common occurence, and then the next step would be for my 40 lbs son to hang a little on the handle bar. I think the smaller wheel base that makes the stroller so versatile side to side, also made it more easily upset from downward pressure on the handlebar.
A small concern when having very young children in the stroller. Overall, the stroller was sleek and design and a lot of the design aspects were spot on, a few decent complaints that keep it from getting 5 stars.
Keep your child safe and protected with this Kolcraft Cloud Umbrella Stroller. It features a three-point safety harness to keep baby secure inside. The travel umbrella stroller comes with an extended sun canopy and rear hood to offer more protection.
It also has mesh for increased air circulation. The foam padded handles of this black umbrella stroller make it easy to steer. It also includes a storage basket and a cup holder for added convenience.
I bought this stroller to take with us while we travel as I wanted something that folds down pretty compactly to take on an airplane and to fit in a small rental car with lots of other luggage. I just wanted something inexpensive that still had a canopy to block the sun for naps.
I was not terribly concerned about it being great quality as I have another larger stroller but am thoroughly impressed with this little stroller. It’s actually really great and I will continue to use it along with our larger stroller we had before this one.
The canopy extends out really far which I love, it has a small storage basket underneath you can fit a few small items in, and it comes with a cup holder. Literally the only thing I can think of that I wish this stroller had was one of those little mesh or plastic windows on the canopy so that you can see inside and watch your little one while you push the stroller with the canopy extended.
I am so impressed and very happy with this purchase.
This was a really nice small stroller. Used it for around the airport with ease and at my destination. A little tricky on rocky terrain or sand but so much better than hauling our big stroller on vacation.
We immediately lost the cup holder which stunk. Loved the mesh backing to allow more airflow to child and the small pillow that would roll down to cover mesh during cooler temperatures. The basket is pretty much useless on this stroller.
Once my child was seated, I couldnt even stick my hand under. Folds with ease, light weight and has a latch to hold the stroller closed. The sunshade was a nice bonus, although it leaned moreso to the right than the middle.
Stroller does not recline! That would be a nice added bonus. Overall, great for the money and if you are in need of an inexpensive stroller.
While the quality of the stroller is nice enough, I should have listened to the reviews saying how small it is. My 10 month old (16lbs, 25in) looked huge in this stroller. It wouldn’t last much longer for her based on size alone.
It was also tricky for me to maneuver. I’m only 5′ 2″ but the handles felt low and I kicked the wheels several times while pushing it. The best features are the mesh roll-up back and compact folding.
The mesh back allows air flow in hot weather and the stroller folds up as small as a regular umbrella stroller. Features that leave a lot to be desired are the storage basket and canopy. The storage basket is very shallow, you would only be able to fit a folded up blanket or a couple books.
Baby is practically sitting in the basket, leaving no room to actually store things. The canopy was also not as long as I expected based on the reviews. Overall I’m not impressed and will be returning this stroller.
Save a few bucks and get a regular umbrella stroller or spend a bit more and get something more useful.

First off, let me just give you a little background information. I have a 7 month old who is pushing 25 pounds (94th percentile) and is a picky napper. I bought this because my other stroller is way to cumbersome and I had some really tight layovers and wanted to get in and out as fast we could without waiting at the gate for my stroller.
Here are the things I absolutely loved about the stroller: 1) It 100% fits with ease above the overhead bin. 2) It can fit in the isle of the airplane as well. Which really saved my back. You can literally stroll your baby to the seat.
3) If choose the black one it creates the perfect dark environment for naps. I actually bought the fancy one and loved it (eclipse version). 4) If you need to take the bumper bar off because the Overhead-bin is full, there is a pocket in the cover to hold it.
The video doesn’t mention that. 5) For small babies, if you reach underneath the seat there is a cover that comes up over their feet and legs and snaps on the sides of the stroller creating a very cozy and secure feel.
The video doesn’t mention that either. 6) It absolutely feels sturdy and does not collapse as other reviews have said. However, I will say the videos do not do a good job teaching you how to properly open it.
You have to push the red button between the bottom back wheels all the way down with your foot until you hear a click and see a green checkmark. Here is the big key that a lot of people I think might miss…you must go on each side of the stroller and lock both sides in order for it not to collapse.
You will hear clicks as you do each side. Overall, the only real con would be the price I guess. My opinion is you can’t put a price on comfort and ease, so if you have the budget I would highly recommend it.
I also really loved the design of the eclipse model. It looks super fancy for a travel stroller.
We bought this stroller in late summer 2019 for an autumn birth. We had big travel plans for 2020, but then the pandemic put all of that on hold. So the stroller ended up getting minimal use—just a trip across the country in Jan 2020 and then very few short relatively local excursions.
Very little use overall. In under two and a half years, during a trip, it basically crumpled under itself: the front wheel collapsed under itself. The back framework somehow is bent (it was never checked baggage; it was never shoved or crunched into a restricted space).
Our hopes of using it for either our young toddler or with an adaptor for our infant’s car seat have likewise been dashed. It’s neither sturdy nor safe. Tremendous, expensive disappointment. At that price point, get a Yoyo.
Bought this stroller in April 2021. And in August of this year, he already broke down. To start with, the seat belts are terrible, very difficult to lock and unlock. Bought for travel, never been in checked baggage, never shoved or crunched in a confined space).
When I open the stroller, it gets stuck all the time. I have a hard time closing it, I almost feel like the whole stroller is out of order. The stroller is used for our little toddler. The stroller is not strong and not safe.
Huge, expensive disappointment. At this price point, take the Yoyo. Save time and money and buy something else. I wrote to Silver Cross but I haven’t received a response yet.
Go Places, big and Small Designed for your daily adventures and exciting excursions, the MINU offers modern conveniences in a portable, lightweight stroller. Go where you want, how you want theres nothing extra holding you back.
One-handed, one-step fold One hand and one smooth motion is all it takes to fold the MINU! You can even hold baby in your other arm while folding the stroller. Large, easy-access basket Store everyday essentials, a diaper bag, and any extras you pick up along the way.
Multi-position Recline The multi-position recline allows your child to lie comfortably for a nap or sit upright to take in the sights. Extendable, UPF 50+ Sunshade Our pop out sunshade extends to shield your child from harmful UV rays, allowing baby to stay outside and safely enjoy the sunshine.
Roomy and comfortable seat Designed to keep up with your ever-growing little one, the MINUs spacious seat holds up to 50 lbs. Smooth Strolling Spring-action, all-wheel suspension creates a more comfortable experience for both you and baby.
Brake with ease On an incline or busy street, you can bring the MINU to a safe stop with one simple click. Take along or store away At just under 15 lbs, bring the MINU wherever life takes you thanks to the built-in carry handle and shoulder strap.
It also conveniently tucks away in its included storage bag when not in use. The Beauty of Real Leather Our 100% full-grain leather handlebar makes for a rich and classic appearance. Like a favorite handbag or wallet, real leather matures with use, developing a beautiful patina.
The leather on the handlebar is hand sewn and given a perforated pattern for extra grip while pushing baby.
I’m honestly not as impressed as I expected to be with this stroller. There are some amazing features such as the lightweight, easy folding (when it works), easy maneuvering, and leather handle bar. However, and especially given the price tag, I was disappointed by some issues I’ve had with this stroller.
We used it for 8 months when the brake function stopped engaging properly, which is so very dangerous. And the front wheel began to stay locked in one position which makes it difficult to steer. As mentioned above, the folding function also doesn’t always fold down easily, I’ve had to use both hands and push down using my body weight to get it to fold enough to fit back in my car trunk at least a few times.
While the UppaBaby company has been great with resolving these issues, I still feel like you all should know that these issues happened to me and I wish they didn’t because it’s not safe nor convenient to deal with.
I would still recommend this stroller to those looking for a super lightweight stroller that doesn’t have many other features. It’s easy to travel with but not always practical for moms who want more storage space or want to reverse the seat so they can look at their baby.
I do believe there might be better strollers for the price.
I was not planning to buy this stroller. I was like NO WAY am I spending that much on a stroller. The thing is we needed one now and for some reason our local store had barely any strollers. This was basically it in the compact type.
I am so glad we got it!!! 1st I drive an Acadia and have 4 kids with NO trunk space. This folds up like a briefcase and I put it behind the driver’s seat where the baby car seat is. It fits perfectly!!!! It has a strap to carry it.
It glides very smoothly with little effort! I’ve never pushed it across rocky terrain. I did get the tan which I’m not crazy about because of stains but it was cheaper and we got a discount for floor model.
It has a great sunshade and you can lay all the way back. It’s also easy to open and close with 1 hand. Mine doesn’t have the little piece on the side that keeps the stroller folded up. It doesn’t change anything for me.
So before our baby was born we were set on purchasing the Cruz and the Mesa cart seat to go along with it. We decided that I would stay home with the kids and my husband would would. We live in an apartment building with only stairs and we live on the 4th floor.
So going up the stairs with the car seat, stroller and diaper bag was going to be a challenge. When we went to complete our registry, we looked at the Cruz one last time and decided that it wouldn’t work for the building we live in.
Then we saw the MINU. When I saw that it was the smallest UppaBaby stroller that did everything I wanted, we immediately decided that the MINU was the stroller we wanted. We liked that the car seat clicked onto the frame and that you didn’t need to have the body of the toddler seat on to use the stroller.
So essentially it’s just the car seat, the adapters and the frame. It’s perfect for the 4 flights of stairs I have to go up alone sometimes. The only thing I don’t like about the stroller is that you have to remove the adapters before closing the stroller.
But the adapters come with a small pouch that you can attach to one of the bars next to the shoulder strap. Overall, if you’re looking for a foldable, lightweight stroller that you can use your car seat with, I recommend this one.
I’ve been using it for 7 months straight and it’s been a blessing.

Sceptical but glad we took the plunge. The basket beneath is nice and roomy and the hood shades my little ones face when it’s sunny. You can tell it’s had lots of thought and design put behind it, even to the detail that the pushchair won’t tip up if there’s something on the handle bars.
The back pocket is also very useful for my phone and keys A couple of quibbles I had, was learning how to take it down and put up with a squirming one year old. And how the front wheels have to be straight to do so.
It isn’t exactly a one handed fold and is a little fiddly when you first use it, I had to watch a few YouTube videos to get the jist of how to make it easier on myself putting it up and down with ease.
But once you get used to how it works it is a very good stroller. Accessory wise, the Babyzen yoyo 2 doesn’t come with a rain cover, (I haven’t actually ordered one yet but I probably will) however the hood is claimed to have waterproof treatment.
It does come with a nice travel bag but we don’t really use this. You can buy many accessories for the Babyzen, which can rack up cost wise, but we’ll probably just get the buggy board for our eldest, along with a rain cover for when it’s needed.
We had a very expensive travel system before which was bulky but very reliable. we bought a cheap compact stroller to help save boot space on days out (which admittedly was easier to put up and down than the Babyzen, but was incredibly flimsy and wobbly) you do pay extra for the Babyzen but the quality behind it is noticeable in comparison to cheap alternatives.
Terrain wise, we live in the city, but we’ve taken it on woodland walks and across grassed areas with the dogs and it’s held up incredibly well. On flat even surfaces it really does feel very light and smooth and I quite often walk it one handed, which I haven’t been able to do with any other pushchair we’ve used.
Overall it is an incredibly stylish stroller, and if I knew about this pushchair when my first was born, we would have 100% bought a Babyzen yoyo with the added extras for a newborn.
So I debated over getting a yoyo2 for months!! Also contemplated between this, the joolz & the butterfly. Took the plunge at last and got this in the taupe colour. Mainly went with the yoyo as I preferred the design and the look the best.
I think it also has the most compact fold out the. Anyway the things I like: The colour, the basket, the zip pocket on the back was a winner for me, the size when folded and the carry handle is very comfy on the shoulder and weighs nothing! I like the newborn accessories you can get for it too which would be good if you go on to have another baby and want to purchase them! Things I don’t like: The seat doesn’t sit up enough in my opinion so baby is always slouched, the hood covers the face nicely but not enough protection from the sun on the rest of the body, could do with a larger/extendable hood, the fold does take some getting used to and mine seems to fling back open alot and I have hurt my finger a few times! The fact the add ones are all extras and not even included for the price like the raincover ect could at least come with it, one of my front wheels did start wobbling a lot on some tiled flooring in a shopping centre the second time I used it, the push is nice with one hand on flat surfaces but did struggle to even get across some stones/bumps! Don’t think it will work for me as a every day pram unfortunately! Is alot of money to just use for holidays.
Anyway on a whole that’s the reason I gave it 4 and not 5 stars! I think it’s down to personal preference when it comes to prams! I have had alot of prams and have 3 children so I’m pretty fussy. It’s well made and does feel like it would last but I don’t think it lives up to the hype in my opinion and I did view them in shops first but I think you can only truly get a proper vibe after using a pram for a whole day out and about not just round a shop with nice flat flooring ect.
Pic of my 12m old son taking a nap which he has actually only done once since using the pram for a few days now.
The Yoyo2 definitely doesn’t disappoint for travel. It’s light and folds up impressively small. It doesn’t unfold as easily as advertised (with one elegant motion…). Instead, wheels get swiveled and stuck and require being flipped around (Maybe I just need to practice my skillz.
). My large 17 mo old slouches down a lot in the seat, which in my view is a a design flaw, but since we are traveling a ton the pluses outweigh the minuses. It’s annoying that you have to pay $$$ for even the little foot rest thing, so that your kid’s little legs don’t dangle, not to mention rain cover and all the other add-ons.
(Universal rain cover we already had works just fine, FYI, tho a little big). Be sure to check which add ons work while it’s folded up if you do get them- the whole point of this thing is ease of fold and how small it gets.
Even with lots of bags it’s easy to hang it on your shoulder with the built in carry strap and haul onto the plane and into overhead bin. I wouldn’t gate check because it doesn’t feel that durable, honestly.
The storage space underneath is small but decent for a travel stroller. Don’t hang a bag on it- it will tip! The wheels are smooth except if you get moving fast even on a good concrete surface- then they can suddenly wobble like crazy.
Sun cover is a bit skimpy. Overall was a good buy for us for size and travel convenience on the plane etc. I do think it’s overpriced but there weren’t other options we thought would be better.
Newly updated, the Silver Cross Jet Special Edition is an ultra-compact lightweight stroller (just 13. 6 lbs!) with a one-motion fold that’s small enough to fit in cabin space on an airplane and can even be wheeled like a small suitcase using the bumper bar as a handle.
It’s a game-changer for parents who travel often. The Jet is suitable from birth up to 55 lbs (a higher max. weight than most compact strollers, so you can use it even longer). It has an ergonomic seat for even better baby support—no bassinet needed.

Jet is compatible with select infant car seats (adapters sold separately) so you can create a convenient travel system. This popular choice allows you to transition a sleeping baby from the car to the stroller and back again.

Joolz’ patent pending seat for the Aer provides exceptional support to your child s neck and back whether seated upright or fully recline, thanks to plush seat padding. I’ve been using this stroller for 7 months, so I think I can give a fair review. Here are some pros and cons I’ve found! Pros: -It’s comfortable! Not only is the seat well padded, the seat actually sits upright when not reclined so your infant or toddler doesn’t have to lean their head forward to look around.
My son actually takes his best naps in the stroller. It doesn’t recline flat, so I just placed a rolled blanket or jacket under his knees to make it a bit more comfortable for him. No complaints. -It’s sturdy and doesn’t feel cheap despite being so lightweight.
-The basket is not mesh, so things stay dry and clean. Cons: -The basket is actually a decent size. However, there’s a curved part of the frame under the seat that gets in the way of using the basket to it’s full potential.
Because this piece curves downward, only narrow bags will fit in the basket. I’m not sure if it’s necessary for it to curve or if it’s decorative, but there’s no way to turn it sideways because it’s welded in place.
-The buttons to fold the stroller always “stick. ” I can still fold with one hand, but it takes a few attempts to get the buttons to click. That could just be my stroller in particular though. This is my only stroller, and I literally use it everyday! I also own the carry cot and car seat adapters, which were both well loved.
I’m excited there’s now a rider board for it, so I anticipate I may never need another stroller! It’s great, I love it.
This pram is a total game changer for us. We bought it to use for travel abroad, after having a difficult experience travelling with our Uppababy Vista(which we also love). We were looking for something that would fit in the overhead bins, and be versatile for some pretty tough use on Mexican unpaved streets.
First of all, it fit in all overhead bins, small planes, large planes. it did it all. Secondly, we literally took this thing on unpaved paths in Chichen Itza and cobbled streets of Merida, running between planes in Dallas.
I don’t know what we would have done without this pram. Best purchase ever. Easy to use, well made, and looks great too. I prefer it to the Babyzen yoyo2 which was the other model that we were considering.
The one hand fold is what sets it apart. When juggling diaper bags, purses, toddler, the one hand fold is a life saver. An added bonus to this pram, my child is so comfortable in it! I think she prefers this pram to the Vista, and had zero problem falling asleep in it on multiple occasions(she never falls asleep in the Vista and actively protests getting in it).
If you are considering the Jooz Aer. you won’t be disappointed.
I’ve been looking for an ultra-compact stroller that would work for both the newborn carseat days and the older baby/toddler years. The snap-and-go we initially have been using has gotten too beat up from going through baggage claim and is a pain because it’s so un-foldable.
The Aer has been great for us since we got it a few days ago. My favorite features are the elasticized carrying strap, the tall handle bar (my husband and I are 6’3 and 5’9 so it’s appreciated), the ease of folding, and the fact that the carseat clips (purchased separately) don’t have to be removed in order to fold the stroller.
That is a game changer! I haven’t gotten the chance to do air travel with it yet but I look forward to putting it in an overhead bin, and also appreciate that it came with an airplane bag that will work for flying on smaller planes that require a gate-check.
If you’re on the fence about this stroller, go for it! I know it will serve our family for years to come, especially if/when we get the roller board addition when more kids come along.

Reviews From Real Customers
Bought this system from Babies R Us after convincing ourselves we needed a jogger for the snow and gravel roads where we live. Car seat issues, bought it brand new in 2021 – manufacture date was 2020 so there goes one year of the long time we were hoping to use it for all of our kids.
We found that the straps on the car seat twist and turn pinching through and going backwards so it takes forever to fix when you go to put you baby back in. You have to have it fully loosen the straps to hook it on the sides to be able to get your baby in and out without have the straps under them.
The fabric seems really cheap, baby sweats like crazy in it – not breathable like some of my friend’s other brands. The base – IS NOT VERY ADJUSTABLE. Only adjusts one way, they suggest putting rolled up towels underneath it to make it suitable for a 6 month baby.
The LATCH system doesn’t release very easily once you have it tightened. If your baby is not in the car seat and it is clicked into the base it is very hard to release the car seat to just remove it from the base while its in the car.
The jogging stroller – I HATE IT. The shade cover isnt big enough, the mesh lets light right through the sides. You cannot put anything in those stupid shallow cupholders. There is no shocks or brakes it is extremely bumpy for our baby was worried about shaken baby syndrome, so I do not use it on gravel or in rough snow – didn’t realize we were buying a budget stroller.
But worst of all – it pulls HARD to the right – but sometimes pulls hard to the left while the front wheel is locked. OH and do not try to take it into a store it does not move easily in smaller spaces.
Sometimes if the front wheel is not locked it turns sideways and you have to kick it to keep moving. We have moved our 9 month into the toddler seat on the stroller – it is not very upright and the cushion part on the straps always fall off.
I wish as soon as I had any problems I returned it – instead we used it for too long trying to make it work and We will be buying something else for baby number 2. Two things going for it the storage underneath is big and it folds pretty easily one handed.
I’ll start by saying we LOVE Graco products. This travel system offers luxury details for a fair price. We had one of the older Graco Modes strollers in 2017 – loved it, but needed a new one for new baby and decided on The Nest.
Pros: • Car seat: large/dark canopy, one-hand handle locking/moving, soft padding for smaller babies, not too heavy, base easy to install and click car seat in/out of • Stroller: leatherette handle gives the stroller a luxurious look, stroller rolls with one hand, easy to adjust the seat farther away or closer to parent, easy to interchange bassinet and/or car seat onto the frame, easy to switch from toddler seat to bassinet mode, HUGE storage basket with optional adjustable front edge for a lot of bags or items, child tray (easily removable for bassinet mode), large wheels make for a smooth ride, perfect height for taller parents (5’7″ mom and 6’1″ dad).
Cons: • Stroller: (I knew all of these things before I purchased The Nest and really wanted to love this stroller but I’m often frustrated by these differences from our previous Graco Modes Stroller) These points are worth noting before you buy: -Front wheels don’t have a lock to prevent them from turning when on rough terrain (like our previous model did) -No parent tray.
The detachable cup holder is small and often comes off when the stroller is folded in the trunk -Both hands needed to fold it (huge inconvenience most of the time) -Does not stand on its own when folded -Rear brakes difficult to unlock with foot We have been using this travel system for 3 months now.
It is made with quality in mind. I do wish the stroller had a parent tray, front-locking wheels, a one-handed folding mechanism, and the ability to stand alone when folded. The car seat is perfect for us.
I have used the bassinet in the trunk of the car to change baby when in a pinch and it worked like a charm! Overall, it is a good travel system.

I got my baby’s travel system as a gift and I didn’t like it as it is two bulky and also there’s so much pieces to use the stroller. I have been looking for a compact and easy to use scroller that I don’t have to attach/remove another accessory for the stroller.
I am very happy I got this travel system/bundle. This came at the perfect time and I can’t stop raving about it as it is way better than my baby’s old travel system. This set came with the stroller, a stroller seat, bassinet and attachments to use with the bassinet and infant carseat.
Since my baby is already 9 months old. We really don’t need the bassinet. But it is perfect for new born or infant that doesn’t have seating and standing skills yet. I like that it can be easily attached to the stroller rear facing or forward facing and the bassinet has a canopy for more protection from the sun or cold and also for more privacy especially when the baby is sleeping.
Material is soft and stitches are sewn well. It can easily be stored and doesn’t take so much space in the car. The stroller can also be used rear facing or forward facing. Use the attachment appropriate for the stroller then attach the stroller with it.
I like that I don’t have to remove the stroller seat to fold it. Seat folds with the stroller. Stroller seat also has a canopy that is extendable and has mesh window so you can see what or how your baby is doing.
I also love that that the harness is magnetic so its easy to secure your baby. It has a pocket on the back with zipper opening to store your valuables like keys and cellphone. I love the leatherette hand bar.
It adds to its aesthetic. Seat can also be reclined. Easy to fold. Just recline to the lowest point and pull the leatherette handle. It is very easy and convenient to use. This momma and my baby are both very happy with this! I highly recommend.
I ordered this travel system when I was pregnant with my first born. We knew we wanted to have something that grew with our family and this did not disappoint. The car seat itself is so light and we felt our baby was so comfortable in it! The base installation was so simple especially if we had to change cars.
Love how the car seats are compatible with the stroller, it make running errands so simple especially if the baby was sleeping. He would sleep right through the transfer process. Lastly, the design and functionality was fantastic.
We would go on walks, hikes and the wheels were so strong and versatile. The large basket made shopping really easy. I was able to do grocery shopping and use only the stroller basket! I highly recommend this for families that are having their first or are going to have a second.
There are many factors to consider when choosing the best compact stroller for travel. The weight and size of the stroller are important, as is the type of terrain you’ll be using it on. If you’ll be using the stroller primarily for travel, then you’ll want to make sure it’s easy to fold and carry.
You’ll also want to consider the features that are most important to you, such as storage capacity, sun protection, and reclining seats.
When it comes to compact strollers, there are a few different brands that stand out. The Babyzen YOYO+ is a popular option because it’s ultra-lightweight and can be easily carried on your shoulder. It also has a large storage basket and a sun canopy.
The UPPAbaby MINU is another great choice for travel, as it’s lightweight and can be folded with one hand. It has a smaller storage basket than the YOYO+, but it comes with a rain cover and a sunshade.
If you’re looking for a compact stroller that’s easy to push and maneuver, then the Bugaboo Ant is a good option. It has all-terrain wheels and a one-handed folding system. It’s also relatively lightweight and has a large storage basket.
The only downside is that it doesn’t have a sun canopy.
No matter which compact stroller you choose, you’ll be sure to appreciate the convenience and portability it offers when traveling.
