Commercial blenders for smoothies are powerful blending machines that are designed to create smooth, creamy smoothies quickly and easily. These blenders typically have multiple speed settings and powerful motors that can handle large quantities of ingredients, making them ideal for busy smoothie bars or restaurants.
20 Best Commercial Blenders For Smoothies
1. Waring Commercial MX1100XTX Blender, High Power with Timer, 64 oz
Waring’s MX1100XTX Xtreme 64 oz High-Power Blender rips through fruit and veggies quickly and easily thanks to the super-charged 3. 5 peak input HP motor. Revving up 45,000 RPM (bare motor speed), this outstanding commercial blender is a dream for bartenders and chefs alike; smoothies and bar drinks, soups, salsas, sauces and desserts are done quickly and easily by the Xtreme blender.
Waring’s easy-to-clean, easy-to-use electronic membrane keypad features buttons for High, Low, Stop, and Pulse as well as a timer for blending for precise blending times! Additionally, the Raptor 64 ounce copolyester jar is extremely durable and is stackable for easy storage while the one-piece jar pad minimizes noise.
This blender is a serious machine, gets on with the job, no nonsense. Its made for work and mercilessly massacres anything in its path. You press the pulse switch once and it blitz whatever is in there before you know whats happening.
I am reviewing in the context of having used a few other blenders and comparing the relative performance. I use the Vitamix TNC. I think the waring is better, theres just no messing about. No chopping the food toblade sized portions, no pushing down with a tamper under normal circumstances, no nothing.
No messing about with variable speed dials , or programming. Its designed to just get on with the job, fast. It looks like its built to last, although the commercial warranty is 1year. Built for 75 drinks a day.
Used domestically as I was doing , it would probably outlive. I liked the wide jug the vitamix and many other high powered blenders trying to copy vitamix has a jug which tapers at the bottom. The waring jug only slightly tapers and is slightly shorter than the vitamin standard jug so it appears wide though not as wide as thevitamix professional 750 300 series jugs.
The top part of the motor has a membrane pad covering it ,which is like a flexible and textured thick silicone square and which the jugsits on. I expect it is for shock absorption and maybe to provide a seal to protect the metal and coupling underneath it.
This membraneis not glued on, but is secure in operation and can also be replaced as necessary. It has 2 speeds, high and low, via a flick switch. It also has a pulse switch. It has a heavy base, and feels sturdy and doesnt jump around.
It has metal to metal coupling base of jug also has a metal contact. The jug has a useful line where it says to fill up to for washing the jugabout just less than halfway volumeof the jug,. Washing is via running the blender at high speed with soap and water for self clean.
There are also instructions on sanitising the jug. The jug has a flexible looks like silicone lid, which is easy to push in place and pull off again and was secure in operation. It is not rigid like vitamix, which needs to be clipped in place.
It has four large blades that look blunt but dont be fooled. They are mean. They are not serrated either. Cons1. The surface of the four feet of the blender are made of a textured silicone type material, so not a smooth easy wipe The other parts of the base are easy wipe surfaces.
2. The motor will run even without the jug3. It is unable to process food without liquid,eg I put in whole and half fruit and veg. like apples and carrots, pulsed and blended till thecows came home , stopped proceedings and shook the contents but to no avail.
It just stubbornly continued playing ball with the food, with the blades spinning round and round and the occupants jumping around, seemingly trying to avoid the blades which inflicted profound lacerations and gashes to the ingredients at every opportunity.
The addition of water soon put the unfortunate occupants out of their misery and the blender happily blitz them to oblivion in no time. Fair enough, most blenders maybe all, including vitamix wont blend without liquid or chopping down first.
But I just thought, big boy here might just have more stamina than mostIncidentally, I tried blending a small pear submerged in water in the vitamix and got nowhere, it just would not blend or even chop it, even at high speed for over a minute.
It looked like a pear sloshing about in a washing machine and it appeared the vitamin had lost its usual decorum The pear came out intact, with just huge laceration on one part. 4. I think It needs a tamper for some tasks, eg nut butters.
It ground about two thirds of a jugful of nuts completely with a flick or two of the pulse button. Then I switched to the blending mode, first on low and then on high power. It performed like all other blenders in this respect, shoving the nut mixture to the four corners of the world whilst the blades whizzed round and round.
I had to stop and scrape the mixture back into the blades, but the mixture kept getting shoved back to the sides of the jug. So I used theunfortunate Vitamix tamper and heyho blended tamper we got The tamper, which was too long for the jug, had accidentally touched the blades whilst I was very diligently trying to guide mixture inwards.
The vicious beast blitz off the whole of the bottom part of the tamper without ceremony, sound nor regret , and did not even bother to slow down. It just kept going like a psychopath. I only knew this had occurred when I saw strange black pieces in the mix before abruptly halting proceedings and going into mourning for the tamper and my the other hole in my pocket.
Nb I think this blender would have made the butter in a couple of minutes or so with a dedicated tamper. 5. I think this blender either has more important commercial issues to deal with than the business ofplaying around with making nut butters , ice cream and foods of a delicate constitution OR , the lack of atamper was an oversight by Waring.
6. It is very noisy, and makes a frighteningly convincing mum, mum, mum, mum. , sort of sound It talks 7. It has a tendancy to slosh and spatter everything everywhere like a bored child having a tantrum around the jug, inside the lid and the whole kitchen, given a chance.
Vitamix , in comparison, performs a rather clean blend, and does not tend to splatter and slosh all over the place , even when filled to capacity. 8. Described as 2200Watt 30000rpm on Amazon , but the underneath of the motor states it is1500wattsWhatever the wattage, it is very good performance.
There is an American version, MX 1500 that is2600watts, 45000rpm unimaginable what that would do but unfortunately, it doesnt seem to be available in the UK, although there is an MX1500 in Uk, it is lower powered and runs at 30000rpm like the rest of the xtreme series.
9. There is no recipe book or indulgent instruction booklet, as its for the commercial market. The instruction manual is bare minimum. All, in all, I really like this blender, and quite forgot about the vitamix.
I think it blended just as well as theVitamix but appears to get the job done quicker as theres less messing about with food preparation beforehand and no tampering. Rather ugly, but looks arent everything.
I have given this waring blender 4stars because 1. Its inability to deal with basic whole fruit and veg without water not even able to rough chop these ,given the price although I appreciate other blenders also struggle.
2. Lack of a tamper to enable some tasks such as nut butters, icecream, which it is quite capable of doing3. Lack of a feature to stop the motor running without the jug in place, which can potentially cause damage to the jug or be a safety issueConclusionIts a fantastic blender and so it should be, for the price and indication.
However, there are other Waring extreme blender models maybe also worth checking out before splashing out. These additionally have automated and programmable features, sound enclosures , etc, increasing the cost.
It may be cheaper to buy from independent catering suppliers, who charge different pricesoffers. And for those looking beyond Vitamix. has the competition truly landed in the form of the waring extreme series like for like unbiased comparison tests and reviews should be undertaken between these type of blenders.
I love, love, love this blender! I have been making smoothies daily for years. I had been using a Ninja previously and I thought it worked well enough until I started using this one by Waring. Night & day difference! My smoothies contain a lot of fibrous vegetables such as kale, celery, cucumbers, etc.
and my smoothies with the Ninja were very chunky, never smooth. I cannot believe how smooth this Waring blender makes them! They taste so much better and are so much more enjoyable. I know everyone recommends getting the Vitamix blender.
But beyond being so expensive, my main concern was the plastic container (same thing with the Ninja). After a while, the plastic container starts getting scratched & chipped and you know that stuff is getting into your smoothie.
It was extremely hard to find a stainless steel container. I saw this one from Waring, saw that it got good reviews and found the best price on Ebay. I am so happy with my purchase and highly recommend it.
It is a powerful motor, leaves my smoothies liquid smooth and is easy to clean and is made in the USA.
Got mine about 4 years ago, Very powerful blender. Anything hard a regular blender cant do; gets done here in a blink of an eye. Meat, ice, dry fruit, nuts. You name it, there is literally nothing this beast cant do.
Waring CB15, 1-Gallon Food Blender, cETLus, NSF, is a reliable appliance with extra-high performance. Designed for a tough commercial grade application, it boasts an extremely robust construction with 1-gallon stainless steel container and a die-cast base.
A powerful 3. 75-HP motor is operated with 3-speed touch control and pulse function. A polycarbonate cap can be removed to add more ingredients while blending. A strong stainless steel blade can withstand intensive use.
Cleaning and maintenance are a snap due to easy disassembling and durable materials.
This is not some prissy little “cute” machine to sit on a tiny little shelf somewhere. This machine is a BEAST, and will take anything you throw at it. I have emulsified some VERY robust stews/soups into some of the most delicious gravies I have ever tasted.
Hot and cold. The stainless container is easy to clean, and when I am through, I KNOW it’s clean. If you want to mix a boat load of malted/shakes for a crowd of people, this is the machine for you. I went with the straight forward design.
High, med, low, pulse. Easy to clean the controls and platform. This machine has presence in the kitchen, so take your measurements. When you get this home, and take a good look at it, you’re gonna see why this beast will get the job done.
I have been extremely pleased with this machine. I enjoy also, the envy of my guests. This machine will process/emulsify solid food for G-tube applications. I have used it many times in the past, for my mother’s G-tube nutritional needs.
For those of you who do not understand, this machine will emulsify solid food to the consistency required to flow through a tube which feeds a person through the stomach. (G-tube) This can be a difficult task for many blenders.
I have burned up/melted other blenders. Not this one. Excellent performance. If I had to do over, I would make the purchase again.
This is by far the best commercial blender available. My friend uses 3 in her restaurant at all times for preparing meals to preparing drinks. This machine is a giant when it sits on a countertop and has no equal.
Commercial use only or if you have a family of 20!.
Well, it has a lot of power and a larger capacity to knock out large prep. But it is no Vitamix. From using different bases in our kitchen we have come to realize that it is not the base or the power but it is the canister.
The vitamix canister will make butters and really smooth things out. It is also very large and heavy. Which is of course its build with power. Not sold that it is the best thing though.

As a Vitamix owner for about 10 years, I was looking for something quieter so it wouldn’t be so hard on our ears, much less our toddler’s. Enter this wildly expensive (likely high-margin) blender. It is definitely marginally quieter.
I still feel like putting hearing protection on my son, but he refuses and I don’t worry about it so much, and my wife and I don’t feel the need to plug our ears. The first few smoothies out of the box, it was a real pleasure to hit the smoothie button and have a perfectly blended smoothie in 60 seconds.
You can even hear the blender intelligently working to resolve issues with clumps or whatever, as it changes up speed to get the job done. We get smoothies from Daily Harvest, and one smoothie that always required lots and lots of work to blend even in the Vitamix is much easier in the Blendtec.
I still have to go through more effort upfront to break up the frozen pieces, especially the rock-hard cherries, but otherwise it does a much better job. If I’m having issues, I can turn it into ice cream first, and then run it through the smoothie setting.
Speaking of settings, it is a little gimmicky. I imagine like most people we’ll only use a couple of the settings (we don’t use blenders for soup, for example), but it is a very straightforward interface.
My only complaint is that it seems to take a while between power-on and being able to start a program. All-in-all, pretty impressive. Whether it’s worth as much as it is would be for you to decide. We blend anywhere from 1-3 smoothies a day in this household, so as long as it lasts as 10 years as well, I can’t see myself complaining.
I use this blender for EVERYTHING!!! Morning smoothies, post workout drinks, marinades, blending eggs with seasonings, soups, margaritas, the list goes on! I love that jar and blade are the easiest to clean!!! The blade is not sharp and doesn’t come out, just a little water and soap and run a cycle for a few seconds and rinse it out! The sound enclosure make it the quietest blender i’ve ever used! I don’t have to worry about waking others up early in the morning.
The preset cycles make it simple to use, and even has a timer that shows how much time is remaining while it is blending! By far the best blender I have ever owned!!!.
I purchased the Blendtec Pro 800 after having used other popular brands. My friend who is an engineer and works at Raytheon actually recommended the blender to me. He is the type of shopper who does EXTENSIVE research on big ticket items, so I definitely trusted his expertise.
He did say do not let sticker shock deter you it will pay for itself. At the time I was paying $8-$10 for large smoothies at WholeFoods often because my own blender wasn’t the best. Needless to say he was right.
It has been worth absolutely every penny. Every person that has come to my home whether friends or family loves it. It’s quite a kitchen staple piece and its quiet and beautiful actually. I use it every single day and have been able to replace a lot of kitchen gadgets so now I have more counter space.
It honestly beats all the other brands like Ninja, Vitamix, Magic Bullet, etc. They actually dont’t even come close to the capabilities of the Pro 800.
Get smooth, consistent results every time with this product. This heavy-duty, powerful, blender offers maximum power and efficiency with the strongest motor in its class. It features an easy-to-clean, electronic-membrane keypad with HI, LOW, OFF and PULSE functions.
The unbreakable, stainless-steel container has unmatched durability.
I did a huge amount of web research comparing this to the Vitamix and Blendtec competition. Although how the Waring actually gets to 3. 5 HP (it doesn’t make sense technically as the motor watts aren’t high enough to make that math work), it still has more power and speed than the competition for hundreds less ($318 versus $529 for the Vitamix 7500).
The “hundreds less” was what allowed my wife to agree to the purchase without risking divorce proceedings. It works beautifully for green smoothies and generally even blends in berry seeds. It’s amazingly powerful and will quickly blend even tougher materials.
As a point of concern, the blade’s bearings do get disturbingly hot pretty quick. Even if you run it with nothing in the jar, the bearing spindle on the bottom of the jar will get hot enough to burn your fingers after only a minute or so of running.
I contacted both this site and Waring and they basically reported back that “It’s not a bug, it’s a feature!”; that’s how it will heat up contents into hot steaming soup! For cold smoothies, just limit the blend time to no more than about a minute to avoid getting a warm smoothie.
If you study the video demonstrations on the web, all the blender manufacturers use copious amounts of ice in their videos or in-store demos. Now you know why. I haven’t tried whipping egg whites, making peanut butter or chopping olive meat off of the pits yet but I am very happy with the unit.
And it slides under my 17-3/4″ high upper cabinets by maybe 1/8″. It’s weight and big rubber feet makes it solid and doesn’t dance around when running, but given it’s weight doesn’t slide easily, so you have to pick it up to move it.
That’s one of the good things/bad things. So far the plastic jar cleans easily enough. Generally it just requires a rinse for water-soluble liquids. With anything oil based or sticky, then run it with some dish soap and water for 10 seconds, then rinse.
Of course getting in the habit of cleaning up immediately makes it easy. Part of the buy-decision to get the Waring was to be able to get the stainless steel jar at some point; I’ve read reports on the web that ALL plastics leach chemicals.
Period. Even if it is supposedly “BPA Free”. The Stainless Steel jar is wonderfully robust, it’s just ridiculously expensive. What bothers me is that the blender model (XTS) with the stainless jar costs as much as just buying the XTP (with the plastic jar) + the accessory stainless steel jar.
In other words, there is no $89 credit accounting when buying the more expensive XTS (without the plastic jar). The XTS model should be $89 less. ! (Which is the replacement cost for the plastic jar).
That sort of thing makes me crazy. I would give it 5 stars except that the stainless jar that I really wanted (to clearly distinguish this great unit from the competition) is just too ridiculously expensive at $259 extra.
these blenders are monsters, they can pulverize just about anything. we have two in our ice cream section to make shakes and malts. to make a shake from hard, hand dipped ice cream most people recommend letting the ice cream warm up to about 20 degrees before trying to mix into a shake.
no wait with these. just add scoops and milk and other ingredients into the hopper, start on slow speed and gradually increase speed to proper thickness. most shakes ready in 30 to 45 seconds. also good for smoothies.
we bought two extra canisters for busy times and will more of them and 2 more blenders as our business grows. they are a bit loud at high speed but they are turning over 20000 rpm, does not interfere with our store at all.
A 3 horsepower 1800 watt motor and 120v plug make blending a breeze. Enjoy more of what you blend with our BPA free 64 ounce container. This easy-to-use quiet blender makes it simple to enjoy clean healthy recipes with less of a fussand less noise!.
This is not a compact blender, but that is okay because I wanted a blender with a lot of wattage and a good motor since I use it every day. I did a lot of research on blenders and the Cleanblend ranks up near the top of the mid-range priced blenders.
Although it doesn’t crush ice as nicely as a vitamix blender that is okay, it still gets the job done and I don’t have to worry about burning out the motor. And I also didn’t pay $500 for it!.
Featuring a huge 4 litre capacity, the Waring Commercial CB15V heavy duty blender is perfect for the very busiest of bar and kitchen environments. Able to easily crush large quantities of ice, as well as being able to blend two cocktail pitchers simultaneously to save time and maximise output, the Waring 4 litre blender is truly versatile and immensely powerful.
The ultra robust stainless steel jar has been designed for strength and stability and can accommodate both hot and cold ingredients, meaning this blender is also perfect for saving prep time in the kitchen.
Product features Capacity 4Ltr Dimensions 559(H) x 371(W) x 371(D)mm Material Stainless Steel Jug Output 6. 5A Speed 1701 to18000 rpm Voltage 230V Weight 16. 6kg Variable speed from 1700- 18000rpm. 4Ltr stainless steel jar with two handles.
These blenders are junk! We have bought four in one year and two are broken. The jars start leaking within a few months of use. The motors die and only blend on low or medium. The knob breaks and spins in circles.
Fixing them under warranty is a huge pain, we have to drive across town to have them inspected and then we’re told the jars are not covered, because it’s regular wear and tear. The jar is expensive and only lasts a few months?!?! Webstaurant should not sell such crap! We use them every day for less than an hour a day.
They are not commercial blenders. I’ve had cheap blenders last for over a decade without leaking or breaking.
Vitamix 7500 Blender With Low Profile Jar, 2. 2 Hp Motor, BlackAn evolution in design both inside and out, the Vitamix 7500 includes a high-performance motor for faster and easier processing, as well as ultra-responsive controls for superior precision.
Vibration dampening and enhanced airflow management, similar to Vitamix commercial blenders, dramatically reduces noise. Variable Speed Control and Pulse feature refresh recipes and create a variety of textures for maximum flexibility.
Low-profile BPA-free 64 oz. capacity container is perfect for meals and entertaining and easily stores under most cabinets. Powerful 2. 2 peak output horsepower motor propels the blade up to 240 mph to blend even the toughest ingredients.
Sleek new design features an illuminated control panel, soft-grip controls, and easy-grip handle. Spill-proof lid with removable lid plug seals securely while allowing ingredients to be added during processing.
I’ve been seeing Vitamix commercials since I was a kid in the 70’s and wanted to get one in my 20’s but just could not afford it at the time. Instead, I got the usual standard $30 blenders over the past few decades.
In my 30s I got my first “juicer”. a popular infomercial juice extractor and was making my own juices for a few years with that, until I realized I wasn’t taking advantage of the “whole” fruits and vegetables, so I moved onto whole juicing with four different brands of juice/smoothie type machines that each only lasted a couple of years.
I was wasting money on wannabe Vitamix blenders over so many years. So, in November 2017, I looked again at Vitamix during an on-air special on a popular home shopping show that Vitamix sells on. With the affordable price & six payments, I decided it was the right time to take the plunge and finally get a Vitamix for myself for Christmas.
I’m so glad I did (I got the black. ). When I first tried out my 7500, I could tell it was noticeably quieter than the other popular smoothie blenders I had used in the past and the one I still had. When I say “quieter”, I don’t mean it’s “quiet”.
I mean that it’s definitely quieter than other blenders, but it IS a blender and is not going to be totally “quiet”. I’m comparing the sound of my Vitamix to my previous “nutri-” type blenders/juicers.
the Vitamix 7500 is definitely quieter than those. I got the model 7500 due to the shorter height to fit on the counter, under our upper kitchen cabinets. But, because our upper cabinets have a 3/4″ lip that drops down, I can’t leave the lid on my 7500 and slide it all under the cabinet, nor easily place the container with lid on the machine while it’s under the cabinet.
No problem, I just turn the 64oz container upside down, place it on the machine and then place the lid on the container “bottom” that’s now facing up. The whole unit slides under the upper cabinet perfectly.
The recipes I make the most are juices and soups, but I have done almond butter, ice cream, pesto, and sorbet, just to name a few. I make juices with many different ingredients, like lots of raw spinach, frozen berries, apples off our Gordon Apple tree, ginger, and flax seed.
For the liquid, I add Crystal Light Green Tea, to sweeten up the juice without a bunch of sugar. My favorite soups to make in my Vitamix are tomato bisque, potato cheese, squash, and broccoli cheese (and I don’t even like broccoli!) I’ve since picked up an “extra” Vitamix 7500 to give as a gift.
Oh, one other thing I recommend getting. the inexpensive Vitamix black plastic wrench. It’s used to change the blade, which you won’t need to do very often, but it’s also very useful for when you might buy an extra container on sale from an online retailer and when you go to use it, it leaks.
That’s what happened to me, but I knew right away that the blade assembly on the new container had somehow become misaligned or loose. I immediately ordered the Vitamix wrench and realigned the blade.
good as new!. and if you get a chance, look for the YT video of William G. “Papa” Barnard’s 1950 “informercial” for the first Vitamix. A man ahead of his time.
I have a classic 5200. My first experience with making anything other than a basic smoothy did not go well and I swore off making soups or anything else as a result (I did not follow the instructions but winged it).
Fast forward however many years later with both the discovery of whole vegetable blender processing working like a champ; a relative with an upcoming birthday, and complaints of trying to blend stuff but it not working; and a sale.
Enter the 7500. Also enter fears of the new low profile 64 container not blending well and doubts in making the purchase for a novice blender user. So I got permission to try the new unit to make sure it worked as well as the old tall units.
I tried the new low 64 and the 48 oz container, and two things stood out: you can put one or two cups of liquids in without it splashing the whole container to the top of the lid as it does in the classic tall 64 and 32 with just one/two cups of liquid; and especially the low 64 makes blending and chopping veggies a breeze, which I had never done before.
I put a carrot in and it blended to a consistent fine chop, I then added a celery stalk, onion, pickle, chicken breast, and a little mayo. I was blown away. Hint: I used smoked chicken breast, and it ended up tasting almost identically to the smoked salmon appetizer from a well known eatery.
Oh, did I mention it only took not even all of two minutes? I now make recipes in the classic tall as a result of trying it in the low 64. I have started motor oil smoothies which have also made a difference in my skin, energy, hunger levels, length of satiation and overall feeling of well-being (garlic clove; ginger; celery; spinach; 1/2 whole lemon; apple; handful of spinach; carrot).
You can also notice the extra power and it is more quiet than the old ones.
I love this blender. I never knew smoothies could be so smooth. I’ve had it just over a month now and I use it daily for blending greens, flax seed and frozen fruit. Previously, I was having to grind my flax in a coffee grinder and then put that in my old blender until I got the Vitamix.
It can all go in together now with the flax seed along with the other ingredients. It blends it thoroughly. I had been saving for the 5200 and had done research on that one until Vitamix ran their September sale for the 7500.
I think I’m more happier than I would have been with the 5200 because the 7500 fits just underneath my cabinets on my counter. Since I use it daily, twice a day, I want to leave it out and can with this one.
I love too being able to rinse out my blender, add dish soap with water and blend it for easy cleaning. One hint-don’t wait until later to clean it, do it immediately or you will be scrubbing flax seed from the blender.
I don’t find it too loud but it does have a tone that made both of my dogs bark so I trained them to love that sound with treating them every time the blender is on. Now, when I blend, they both sit and wait for their treat.
The only thing I find it doesn’t blend well is dates. I occasionally add dates to my greens, flax, frozen mango, coconut water and water and it struggles with the dates. I will have to start soaking dates before I add them.
I have made a non dairy ranch made from cashews and they pulse very well. Definitely the best blender I’ve ever had and I’m so glad I waited for their sale. I’m also happy I purchased it from their website since ,when you create an account before purchase, it automatically registers your blender with them.
You can build up points and receive discounts towards other items or purchases They have a lot of recipes on their site, I would suggest visiting it for ideas.

In addition, a two-piece lid with removable center makes it easy to add ingredients while blending. The stainless steel blade and coupling system are built to last but user replaceable for easy servicing.
For no-fuss cleaning, the 64-ounce copolyester container and removable sound-dampening jar pad are dishwasher safe.
Ok, I already wrote a 5 star review for this blender but then I made them take it down because I had a few issues (which have worked themselves out/made sense) and I think I have changed my mind from thinking may 3 star to go back to a 4 star review.
PRO: it is pretty heavy duty CON: it does Max out, overheat and shut offPRO: it automatically shuts off when it is getting overheated/maxed out CON: it smelled like it was burning a lot in the beginning (and still does when it maxes out) and one of them would max out way sooner than the other in the beginning.
They seem to be more equal now, but one was a total pain in the butt in the beginning. PRO: they ARE pretty durable CON: I think they could be a bit more durable/heavy duty. they talk this blender up quite a lot on the site, but then when I called about why the one was shutting off so soon all the time they said I shouldn’t use ANY frozen FRUIT! Really!? Isn’t that what blenders are for.
? Anyway, I think the “bad one” has gotten better but it was QUITE BAD for a while. It sounded really bad and would overheat and shut off after about 5 seconds. I tried to get a new one but my warranty was void (because remember I used frozen fruit).
but remarkably it has gotten better from sounding terrible and overheating really quickly for probably the first 10-15 uses. SO anyway. Goodluck? They are doing their jobs now. I have to be careful and not over do them too much with my thick smoothies, but I think my use might be heavier then the average person’s.
The blenders have no problem with thinner smoothies.
I bought this for home use to make smoothies and other pureed foods because a standard home blender just doesn’t get the right consistency. It is incredible! The end result is just what I wanted – when I make green and fruit smoothies I don’t have lumps or shreds or ingredients floating in the glass – it’s all really “smooth.
” In lieu of using my food processor I made mashed cauliflower and apple in the blender and the consistency was better than the processor. The jar that comes with this is 64 oz, and that was a little large for daily use, so I also ordered the 48 oz jar.
The base and the smaller jar fit in the appliance garage on my counter, and make it convenient for daily use. You can buy the version that has the electronic power buttons with the 48 oz jar, but I wanted the toggle power source, which only comes with the 64 oz jar.
This blender is almost frightening. I’ve been using consumer blenders for a long time, and after having burned out yet another Oster, I figured I’d take the plunge and get something better. I’ve seriously looked at Blendtec, Vitamix, and the new KitchenAid Diamond series, but they all seemed to have a few pitfalls, and were very expensive.
This Waring looked like a great performer, and the many videos of it on-line show that it does an outstanding job. It does. Here are my observations:The base alone is almost as tall as an entire consumer blender (it is BIG).
There is a lengthy, heavy-gauge cord. The canister is very heavy as well (the metal of the base and blade assembly is very sturdy). 64 ounces is a LARGE capacity. The width of the jar is such that you don’t need a tamping stick.
How does it work? Amazingly well. Two speeds is plenty. The low speed is far faster than the fastest consumer blender, and the slow-start is brilliant. I make cheesecake batter in my blender several times a year.
It handles a full batch with ease, even when using the “heavy duty” sour cream and cream cheese from the local culinary supply. I’ve make smoothies, milkshakes, soups, and LARGE amounts of pesto sauce, all with zero issues or complaints.
Cleanup is amazingly easy as well. Just fill the jar to the “max for cleaning” line, squirt in a few drops of detergent, replace the lid, and fire it up. Just rinse afterwards. I’m kicking myself for not getting one of these sooner.
I suspect this will be the last blender I’ll ever have to buy.
Features: 2. 4 peak HP motor propels the blades to speeds over 210 mph. Ultra-responsive variable speed knob allows you to manually blend ingredients to your exact preference. Intuitive LCD control panel keeps you informed about details as you blend, from blending time to selected speed or program setting.
4 program settings offer consistent results and walk-away convenience: Smoothie, Ice crush, Puree, Soup. Sized to fit under standard-size cabinets. Includes Tamper Dimensions: 7. 25″ W x 20. 25″ H.
Extremely pleased with my purchase of this blender– which is so nicely programmed. All you have to do is press a single button to whatever outcome you desire. That’s why I call it the “thinking blender”.
For example, the setting for smoothies only requires a single push of a button, and the smoothies with any variety of ingredients are blended perfectly. There’s also a manual override so there’s flexibility.
I would definitely buy this again and recommend it to friends and family.
My son recently had major jaw surgery and was restricted to broth or watered down smoothies. I decided to try and make soup in the blender so that I could add some ingredients with flavor. I was so blown away with the soup feature that smoothed it out to a glossy finish and cooked it while it was blending.
After such a frustrating day of watching my son struggle with eating, we both were so excited to see the stream rising from our gourmet soup that we made. Absolute life saver today!!! This is the best blender that I have ever had, will always use this product!.
I love this blender and it whips up anything perfectly in no time. Things I don’t like are: I wish it was dishwasher safe. I have arthritis and, the emulsifier capsule is impossible for me to pull apart and remove from the lid.
The Ventray 600 uses an innovated technology that involves a digital-touch control combined with ultimate blending performance. Our cutting-edge blender takes out the guesswork from making some of your favorite recipes with five pre-programmed functions: smoothies, frozen dessert, vegetables & fruits, hot soups, and dry grind.
One of the best functions of our blender is the brilliantly timed pulsing function that will provide silky smooth texture, coupled with a variable speed dial. Our blender has built-in overheating protection to ensure the motor does not burn out.
Boasting with up to 30,000RPM the Ventray 600 offers incredible power while blending at a low decibel for a quiet performance that will not deafen you or your family. While the blender may remain quieter than the leading competition during operation, our blender does not skip on the build quality.
The sturdy base prevents movement, shifting or slipping during the blending process. The Ventray 600 is built to be heavy duty and super easy to clean! Fill the jug with warm soap water, and blend at low speed to clean the residues in the jar and rinse out.
I love this blender. Very powerful (1500W). Big container (2L), lots of space to put fruits, veggies & liquids. I enjoyed my first smoothie, in the evening watching TV (instead of binging). I love the control panel, very elegant.
I also bought the Juicer & Stand Mixer and when I received the equipment, I was impressed with the good quality of the material. Price is very good, so I did not know what to expect. Proud of my purchases.
We have been using it only for a week, but so far so good__ definitely blends every smoothly, frozen fruit, even fresh kale. Our Nutribullet never blended kale to an “invisible” state:)) its very powerful! The preset programs are great! Very happy, hope it lasts!.
I wanted a higher quality blender after my old blender blade assembly cracked and started leaking. So far this blender is performing very well. I’ve used it for smoothies only, and the smoothies have been delicious, I usually make my own combinations.
Create Delicious Drinks In No Time with the VitaMix 36019 The Quiet One Counter Blender Improve on your grinding, chopping and pureeing with the VitaMix 48oz. commercial blender. There are 6 pre-programmed cycles designed to produce your favorites in no time. Don’t worry about working with thick ingredients as the 3HP motor will blend them in no time. The 48oz. container is made of hardy clear plastic so you can watch as your drink is being made.
I was so excited when this blender finally arrived!! Once it was set up on my counter I decided to make a smoothie! Every day since 2014, I’ve used my Vitamix professional series 300 to make my breakfast smoothie.
It’s so loud!! Loud like having to use earplugs, loud. Hence, purchasing, The Quiet One. Once all the ingredients were added to the canister, I popped the cover on, closed the hood, then started it. Definitely was very impressed with the reduction of noise, but the contents kept spraying out of the top of the cover.
I thought at first maybe I didn’t have the clear plug thingy locked in tight enough, but nope. Every. Single. Morning. Cleanup is annoying when you have to continually wipe down inside the hood, and a complete hassle to have to remove it for a thorough cleaning.
You’d think for the price of the unit, that wouldn’t happen. Would I purchase it again? Probably not. Very disappointing. ***This is totally a Vitamix issue, not Chef Equipment***.
We’ve used this blender for nearly 4 years, really great but “quiet” is a relative term I suppose. It’s much quieter than the other Vitamix blenders without an enclosure. However, we have another brand in another location, and it’s probably 20% of the noise output of the Vitamix.
So if you need the quietest possible available blender, the Vitamix isn’t it. But it has been a workhorse nonetheless. We have blended thousands and thousands of cycles and not a single failure. It does disassemble to clean, which is useful; however, again in comparison with the the other brand equivalent, it’s much more complicated.
Replacement parts are more widely available for the Vitamix, even though we’ve never needed it serviced (the other brand really can only be serviced by the factory, which is not ideal; however, it hasn’t ever failed either).
Overall, a great blender, and quieter than a standard blender, but could be quieter.
This blender has the great Vitamix power, but it has not been quiet a day in its life! It sounds like a power tool. I have a Blendtec quiet blender which although not as powerfuI, whips up a smoothie just fine, and is many times more quiet than the Vitamix.
I can’t add dry ingredients through the top like the old models because smoothie splashes out if you take the top piece off. It definitely creates air pockets more easily than older models, even to the point of pushing the rubber top up out of the blender.
The bottom line is that with The Quiet One, I have to fuss over each drink in a way I never had to with the previous model which makes it frustrating and time consuming.

Superb blender. Liquefies kale, no debris or chunks. Motor relatively quiet. Cleans easily. Traded up after being disappointed with Nutri-Bullet and Ninja. Recommending product to all my friends and family.

I’ve had my Reconditioned Standard Vitamix since around 2015, and there’s just no other word for it than ‘game changer’. There’s no evident difference between Reconditioned and New, by the way–spotless unused carafe, tamper, everything else.
This blender is incredible. It can chop tomatoes. It can shred (cooked) chicken. It makes nut milk and tahini. It can blend a whole winter squash (cook it in a pressure cooker, then scoop seeds and all out of the rind, and add some stock) into a smooth soup.
It makes kale smoothies and v8 juice and sorbet and mixed drinks. The only even slightly frustrating experience I’ve had was trying to make mayonnaise, and I’m sure that was my fault, since my partner can get it to work just fine.
If you’re on the fence, save up and get one, you won’t regret it.
I love my Vitamix Blender. I’ve used it for both cold and hot fluids such as sauces. My favorite use of this machine is using it for smoothies for my toddler who hates vegetables. A little bit of added fruit with veggies makes his day.
Whipping up a smoothie is quick and literally only takes 1-2 minutes because fruit and veggies don’t necessarily need chopping. This machine is powerful and comes with a wand that helps push down any stubborn foods that may get stuck in one place from overloading and not enough liquid.
Here’s a recipe I created that will surely awaken any tastebuds: 1. 5 C. Langers Apple/Orange/Pineapple Juice, 2 C. Fresh Spinach, 2 C. Fresh Kale, 1/4 Fresh Carrot, 1 Gala apple cored, 2 Chopped pre-Frozen Bananas, 2 C.
Frozen Pinapple. 1/4 C. Local Honey. Blend until smooth:1-2 minutes; Enjoy! (.
I rarely write reviews, but I am so happy with my Vitamix that I had to share. I spent a lot of time looking at reviews before purchasing mine, so I am hoping this will help someone. My boyfriend, who was very much in the camp of “let’s buy a high-end cheap blender” (even after he watched all the video reviews with me) said the other day that he understood now that the Vitamix is not actually a blender; he said “it’s a serious piece of equipment”! So there you have it! It was worth putting my foot down on this one.
Also, I recommend buying the underblade scraper with it. I have had it for about 5 weeks now and I use it just about every day. I bought the Vitamix mainly for making the delicious soups I had tried before (made by friends’ Vitamixes) and to make smoothies/shakes.
I do enjoy using the pre-programmed setting for those: switch it on and walk away – awesome! Not only have I made soups and smoothies/shakes, but I have also made whole green juices (I can now have the whole stalk of celery instead of just the juice from it – fantastic!!), custard and mayo as well.
Some recipes take a little getting used to, because the Vitamix processes things differently, but with a little practice they turn out amazing! I went for this model (certified reconditioned – C-series w/ standard programs) because I don’t need it to do everything and I wasn’t going to fork out more money for the higher end ones.
I am really pleased with my purchase and I expect to be making delicious, nutritious and joy-bringing food with it for years to come!.
The Vitamix Blending Station Advance is an advanced model, compared to the Vitamix Touch and Go 2 blending station. It has a 1500-watt, 3 horsepower motor which enables it to blend a wider range of ingredients that are often harder or tougher and, furthermore, the overheat safety function kicks in later so it can be run for longer.
With has 34 different programs and 93 various speed settings the Vitamix Blending Station Advance can create any drink such as smoothies, frozen drinks, juices and thick ice-cream drinks. Blending time is reduced by 30% thanks to the Advance jug and special blades.
The Vitamix Blending Station Advance will easily create frappes, cocktails and smoothies with the pre-programmed features and one-touch buttons. The cycles perfectly blend your drink to the required consistency without the need for you to watch over it, and the auto-shutdown functionality means that it will stop when it reaches the require consistency.
The hub features six reprogrammable buttons so you can customise and add in your preferred blending cycles. The variable pulse button comes with low and high-speed settings which are ideal for aerating drinks or making chunky recipes such as salsas.
The intuitive LCD display will let you know how much time is left until your blend is complete as well as the power input and total drinks count. The Vitamix Blending Station Advance comes with a large 1.
4-litre jug which has been designed to reduce cavitation which can occur with cold drinks or sinking ingredients. The lid features a plug so you can pour in ingredients such as syrups, powders or eggs even when the blender is on.
Furthermore, the lip makes pouring your blending drink easy and clean, so all of the goodness goes straight into your glass and not on the kitchen surface.
Bought this machine specifically for smoothies and frappes. Had purchased a couple cheaper machines, too loud and took too long. Used the preset programs and set them to the the buttons, will do a regular 16 oz fruit smoothie in about 9 seconds, 2 smoothies in about 15 seconds.
We use this in a food truck so space and quiet are a priority. Would highly recommend this machine.

1-pc. Dishwasher-safe removable jar pad. Heavy-duty 3-1/2 peak hp motor. 45, 000 Rpm bare motor speed. Nsf certified.
This is an awesome and powerful blender. The gradual ramp up of the speed is great so it doesn’t spray liquids all over the container. Considering this is more powerful than a Vitamix i think this is totally worth it especially considering it is less than half the price.
For smoothies at home the i only need 2 speeds. An infinitely variable speed control feature is something that I don’t think i ever need. The only problem i have with this blender if that the paddle switches on the front are easy to hit by mistake.
I keep the blender on the counter since i make smoothies daily so i frequently knock the ON switch on by accident. Thankfully with the gradual speed ramp up of the motor I hear it speeding up it and turn it off before it gets going too fast.
Even with that I would still recommend this blender over a Vitamix any day of the week and twice on sunday.
Includes stackable container which is constructed of BPA-free copolyester material. Container features ultra-aggressive stainless steel blade and jar design delivers smoother consistencies and faster results.
Unbreakable and dishwasher safe. It has easily removable container cover with removable clear cap for adding ingredients and for pressure reduction during hot food blending. It is ferocious enough for everything from smoothies and frozen drinks to thick spreads, desserts, dressings and all types of food preparation.
It consists of simple HI, LO, OFF and PULSE paddle switches which is easy to use and find in dimly lit locations. Great for use in smoothie shops, coffee shops, restauran Age Group: adult.

There are a variety of blenders on the market that can be used to make smoothies. Some are better than others, but ultimately it is up to the individual to decide which one is best for them. The most important thing to consider when choosing a blender is how much power it has, as this will determine how well it can blend the ingredients.
There are also other factors to consider, such as the size of the blender and the type of blades it has.
