Best Cold Press Juice Recipes (2025 Updated)

Ive purchased many copies of this book. I have given many copies to friends and family to help with specific issues. I read to my young kids from this, my 3 & 5 year old love to hear all about the magic of the nutritional benefits of each fruit and vegetable.

Its great to look up ailments and find the juice recommended for it. Everybody should have a copy of this book.

Here’s the problem, the material is great, the binding and condition could have been clearly stated wasn’t the best. THAT’S FINE FOR THE COST, but I would have made sure that whomever was buying it knew that the book had been warped or folded and that some of the pages were waterlogged.

Joe Cross, the Re-Boot guy, has some great books and I own them all. This book, however, is the dictionary of juicing ingredients. Think of a fruit or vegetable, look it up, and it will tell you it’s benefits, and what other fruits and/or vegetables it tastes good with.

Super simple yet as informative as you can get. By Jay Kordich, the Father of Juicing who, as of this review, is still alive and in his 90’s, after surviving bladder cancer by juicing his way out of it way back in the 1940’s.

This juicer is sturdy, good looking, and efficient. So far used it on two sizes of oranges, limes, and lemons and it does all super well. It takes a little bit to get used to balancing the smaller fruits in the right point, but after a good test run was easy to do so every time.

Oh and I just live my fresh orange juice! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️.

Great for squeezing limes and oranges. Had been using electric one that extracted juice by spinning. No bitter “white stuff” or extra pulp which helps taste of drinks.

This is a solid device but you must follow instructions while drawing the lever down otherwise the press will topple forward. If you like pulp, you need to reposition the rind because it does split for regular size oranges.

I feel the manufacturer should consider adding different size cones depending on the fruit you want to extract juice from. Clean-up is easy. The only issue I have with my press is that I ordered an orange colored press but received a black colored press.

I decided to keep the black press because it matched my coffee machines of which I have 2 of. Another suggestion for the maker would be to make a larger rubber suction cup for the rear to help offset any toppling issues.

I take cranberry capsules for urinary tract health and previously avoided cranberry juice because most of the brands are either loaded with sugar or (heaven help us!) artificial sweeteners. When Lakewood was featured on VC at 20% off I decided to try the pure cranberry juice, mixed about half and half with my daily “dose” of Fever Tree brand tonic water.

I LOVE THIS combination! I also add some elderberry concentrate for my daily immune system boost. Yes, the tonic water has sugar – just enough to slightly sweeten the cranberry juice, but the tang of the quinine complements the tang of the cranberries.

Perhaps not for everyone – but I love it!.

Buyer be aware. This is not a sweet cranberry juice product that in any way resembles the national brands available on most grocery store shelves it is 100 percent cranberry juice with no sugar added and not blended with other juices.

As a result it is VERY tart and may not appeal to everyone, especially children. If what you are looking for is 100 cranberry juice, I believe this is a high quality, organic product, but I will probably look for a blended product in the future because this one is too tart for me.

I drink a lot of cranberry juice and had read online that cranberries are one of the worst culprits for pesticide residue and so buying organic is vitally important with this crop. I had found organic cranberry juice in the past but it was always sourced from Turkey, which may be OK, but might have some other issues and so I prefer to buy items that are grown/made in America.

I have always mixed 1 – 12. 5oz bottle of concentrate with enough water to make 2 full quarts and this has always produced a juice that tastes as strong as any “just cranberry” from other sellers. All in all, I love this juice and am on my 2nd order now.

I highly recommend buying this product.

I purchased the 6 day cleanse in March, it arrived half frozen so I immediately placed in freezer until last week, and when we opened then they smelled terrible, and was spoiled when we tasted them. They are suppose to be good for 6 months in the freezer, and mine were only frozen for 3 months, and thawed for 1.

I called them and they said they would replace but no refund because the items are perishable. Who wants to chance more spoiled juices. I wish I had read the reviews on BBB before I ordered from them because there were many that stated they received slimy or spoiled juice.

I’m gonna say, it was a good try, but for the money it was a fail. First of all it, you better have a good amount of freezer and fridge space. Second. some of the drinks are just horrible. The Pineapple Mint, Upbeet, and Coconut Fusion where fine, but the Detox Greens was bearably tolerable, and the sweet greens was just bad.

The The spicy lemonade is not great either. who would add cayenne pepper into Lemonade. I made it through 15 of the 18. but had to throw the last three out. Just saying. for me. not a great mix.

So I did this cleanse a few weeks back to jumpstart myself getting out of my terrible eating rut. It was not easy I can tell you that, so if you really cannot eat for a few days, I would say do the 3 day or look at another route.

I did end up going from 198. 2lbs to 192. 6lbs so I can say there were good results. I did follow this to the T and did not cheat. Obviously I would have loved better for not eating solid food for 5 days except one vegan salad a day.

I wish there was more variety in the juices as some didn’t taste so good to me like the cashew milks, not for me. and the free drinks that you drink daily aren’t terrible but towards the end when you are wanting food more, I just ended up chugging them because I was over it.

The blood orange and passion fruit were by far my favorites, I wish I could buy them individually as daily drinks! It is not the cheapest but falls within normal pricing for a detox kit on the market, I would recommend visiting Groupon and buying it there.

it is cheaper and then you just need to know you also will have to pay shipping which is a flat rate. So with shipping I paid, $110 for 5 days, that’s really not terrible for a detox. Comment if you have any other specific questions!! I could talk more and more about this!!.

I am obsessed with this pineapple juice. It’s cold pressed pineapple juice and that’s it! I’ve been buying this juice for years now. I use all the juices from this company. This one I buy at Whole Foods near my house or I buy it on Amazon fresh.

I’m not sure if they have it at the regular supermarkets. Whole Foods has so many better varieties. They might be more money but a lot of them are worth the price. Check this one out guys.

“Recipe” I never measure): Use a mix of peanut oil and toasted sesame oil to brown chopped onion, scallion and crushed garlic. Add the entire bottle of juice, mix in 2 tablespoons peanut butter and one of miso, followed by a package of frozen mixed Chinese veggies and some extra chopped pepper if you have it.

Side is pineapple chunks to mix in at the table. Everything organic is best.

Organic unfiltered apple juice is the way to go. It’s not from concentrate and it has all the good stuff in it. It tastes way better than filtered apple juice and is much better for you. I will never buy any other kind of apple juice than organic, unfiltered.

Book in good condition. Good recipes. Enjoy using it.

If you are considering going on a juicing diet then this book is one of the best for information and juice recipes. It explains which recipes are the best ones to choose for various problems. It has a good variety of fruit and green recipes that will give you all the nutriments and vitamins that your body needs plus it is a great book for helping you to lose weight quickly.

Excellent information, easy to follow recipes. I would recommend this book to anyone starting out on a juicing detox and diet. There is everything you need to know about fruit and veg and how they help the body.

So after getting these I started a strict exercise and diet regimen. I drunk 2 a day One @ 0900 and One @ 1700 and between I drunk a half a gallon of water a day as well. I lost 20 pounds in 15 days.

I feel great and breathe even better. Definitely will be buying again!!! Also I burnt 2500 Calories a day in PT.

The coconut fusion is my favorite in this bundle and if I could I would have 2 or 3 of these every day! I love using this 10 day bundle as a 5 day with adding a salad with veggies. Turning it into a 5 day you will have 6 juices every day.

I do it with 2 green juices a day and then divide out the remaining 4 for each day.

Yummy juices, nice variety. I like how none of them are too spicy or gingery, which often gives me heartburn on a juice cleanse. I’ve reordered this particular cleanse several times now. Big fan.

If you want to juice mostly fruits, this might be a good book for you. I was hoping for a good selection of vegetable juices. There are a few, but not many. The whole thing is misleading and overly simplistic.

First recipe, just apples. Next, apple and carrot. Next, apple and spirulina. Etc, etc. After they go through apple and everything they can think of, they do the exact same thing with oranges, next they do the exact same thing with grapefruit, and on and on.

And I do mean on and on. I don’t want to leaf through some huge book to find a juicing recipe that says two large handfuls of raspberries. I think I can figure that one out on my own.

When I bought this book, I believed it was the most information, the most recipes I could get for my money. In that respect, I was not disappointed at all! Tremendous information! BUT. The book came to me with the front page, bottom edge all but completely torn off, and the first five or so pages were rolled and creased in the same manner the front cover.

When I buy actual books (not e-books), I take EXTREMELY good care of then, not breaking the spine or rolling or tearing pages. It will take some extremely creative talent to fix this book. Oh, and on a side note.

I truly LOVED that each two pages facing each other are different colors. It evokes happiness, creativeness, and serenity for me, oddly enough!.

I just got this book. I wasn’t too thrilled that this book shipped to a Walmart that was farther than the one I usually go to. In the end I was able to get my book and I’m about ready to start juicing and making my smoothies.

The down side, I need a better blender and I don’t have a juicer or a citrus press. I wish I could get an appliance that does all three. This book breaks down all of the fruit and veggies and what their uses are.

It has a 5 star system for each recipe but none are all 5 stars. At least from what I’ve already skimmed through. It has a solution for ailments at the back and it tells you which juice or smoothie to make if you have a health issue.

It also breaks down a seven day drink week that consists of a basic intro, detox, immune power, all the way to the juice high weekend. Followed by that is a nutrient chart. The one thing I don’t like is it doesn’t tell you how to make these.

It tells you the equipment to use from just making juices to smoothies but it doesn’t tell you how to make it. For example I don’t know what this is I just flipped it open and is looking at a ‘bloody cuke’ recipe.

It calls for 1 cucumber, 2 apples, 1 beet(beetroot). The star rating goes: Energy-3 stars, Detox-5 stars, Immunity-3 stars, Digestion-4 stars, and Skin-4 stars. Each drink is broken down like this on each page and as mentioned before none of the drinks I came across equals out to all 5 stars.

It talks about the nutrients of each drink as well. If this is something someone is looking to get into and is fresh in getting off the block like me to check this book out. It left me salivating over the pictures and I’m already going down the lists as to what fruit, vegetables, and appliances to get.

You need to read this book it opens up your eyes to how your body works and the things you put in your body( healthy/ unhealthy) and how they effect your whole body.

Brilliant book. Excellent recipes, 10 days in and 7lbs lost. Would definitely recommend this to anyone looking for a nutritional diet that doesn’t give you hunger pangs or food cravings /crashes. Hands off to Jason Vale.

We have already done Jasons’ other book, ‘7lb in 7 days, which we repeated several times over. This book is written in the same vein, quite compelling and motivating. It gives the reasons why things happen, keeps you informed about what you’re doing and offers encouragement along the way.

Thoroughly recommend.

who purchased this item. Verified purchase I ordered the master and latte cleanse. Having never juiced or cleansed in my 41 years, OH MY GOSH I FREAKING LOVE IT!!!!!! I used it to help rid my body of the after affects of Covid 19.

I felt SO good after the three day master, I went right into the latte. I feel like I’m 30 again, no brain fog, no drowsy all day feelings. I do not feel exhausted five minutes after waking. I felt so good, I ordered the core cleanse a week later, and am about to order the master again.

I will probably do this every other week just to feel that healthy and alive. Lemonkind has a lifer here. My goal is not weight loss, although I can see a significant improvement in how my clothing fits.

I started this juice detox to reset my body before going back to a plantbased whole foods lifestyle. I have been vegan over a year now and started to incorporate too many packaged vegan, plantbased items into my meals.

I want to get back to the whole foods and rid my body of the prepackaged stuff. I found this plantbased detox reset and was super excited. I am on day 3 and have enough juices for a day 4! I personally do not eat anything after 7pm or before 9am so I changed up the timing of my juices and had 2 extra each day.

I wasn’t starving, although at some points I missed eating and a few times the sugary content gave me indigestion, so I had some steamed cauliflower at dinner time. In 3 days I’ve already lost 7 pounds.

Mind you, as soon as I start eating again the weight will go back up but I feel lighter, less bloated, and energized. I would recommend, if you are sensitive to sugar, to not drink these juices too close to bedtime, as I’ve had so much energy that I had a hard time falling asleep.

But I also don’t consume much sweet stuff anyone. And don’t forget these are natural sugars. All in all, it’s been great so far. The taste of the juices are delicious. The peppermint one is very strong but still tasted good.

Highly recommend these juices and this company! Fast shipping as well. I can’t wait to start the 3 day fat burning lattes on Friday!.

I did the 1 day juice cleanse & 3 day Latte combo. The Juice cleanse went great. I was a little bloated from all of the fiber, but expected, no discomfort & it subsided by the next morning. I woke up feeling light & energized.

I was very excited about starting the 3 day latte cleanse, but the drinks were extremely sweet & gritty. I diluted them with 16oz of fluid to get the 1st 3 down. I tried with water & almond milk. Cold & warm.

I just could not stomach anymore. I made my 4th Latte & it was even sweeter than the previous 3 and I gave up. I don’t understand why the company doesn’t allow refunds or exchanges if they truly believe in their products.

It’s a lot of money to just throw away. Next time I’ll review the refund policy 1st, lesson learned.

My family loves this juice. It is a Cranberry Blend which is lovely and it’s not so tart. We keep several bottles in our home to use for multiple purposes. We use them for hydration if anyone gets a cold.

The adults use this juice as it works amazing in Cosmos with organic Vodka 😉 We love that it is organic. It’s very tasty and delicious. Very much recommend.

I’ve used several different juicers in a lab setting (I’m a food scientist). A lot of reviews on here are complaining about this juicer having too much waste / froth. That’s typical of centrifugal juicers, and this juicer is a bit of a hybrid centrifugal juicer.

The way the blade structure and mesh works on this you get a bit of the best of both worlds. The blade on here will generate less friction than a lot of standard juicers and definitely less than a blender, but it still does not have the same juicing properties as a masticating grinder (aka slow juicer or cold press juicer).

Those juicers are ideal if you want the least amount of waste, no foam, etc. They use a physical augur (like a corkscrew) to crush the product to create the juice. The thing to keep in mind is those tend to be bulkier, much slower, more expensive, and you can’t just put a ton of stuff in at once like you can with this juicer.

So far I think this is a nice in-between, and I definitely like it more than some of the traditional centrifugal juicers I’ve used. It’s super easy to clean too just rinsing 3 parts in a sink which I like.

If you are having trouble juicing stuff like hardy leafy greens like kale I’d suggest you cut them and mix them with a small amount of water or other juice when you add them to the mixer. I do think they could be a bit better with naming this device though.

The “Cold” in the name implies that it acts like a normal cold press juicer when it really is more of a hybrid centrifugal juicer. I think it’s slightly misleading to people that have 0 experience with juicers and is probably why there are a bunch of negative reviews.

I’m taking one star off because of the misleading name, but otherwise it’s a good juicer. However do not buy it if you are specifically looking for a “Cold press” or “Masticating” juicer.

I absolutely love this Juicer! I had a masticating juicer prior to this, it was slow and often clogged when juicing which made the process much longer. This juicer is spectacular!! I process beets, carrots, apples, and ginger in minutes! The large feed tube sets this apart, can process whole fruits and vegetables instantly.

As for the waste, beets, carrots, and apples, are reduced to a sawdust consistency as expected, more watery fruits, oranges, pineapples etc. are more wet, as to be expected because these fruits consist mostly of water.

I’ve used this machine everyday since I’ve received it, great buy!! Do yourself a favor, watch the America’s Test Kitchen review on it’s proper use, read the manual, and sit back and enjoy some delicious Juice!! Well Done Breville!!.

Look, is this juicer perfect? Is anything you own perfect? No! So when I read the one star comments the only thing I can come away with is these people are either intentionally or unintentionally using the ting wrong, For example, one common complaint is that it doesn’t extract as much juice as the use thought it would.

It’s your fruit or veggie or whatever it is your juicing, not the juicer for heavens sake! I juiced six apples and got very little juice. I squished the waste in my hand and it was pretty dry, ergo, the apples weren’t as juicy as I thought.

And that made sense as they’d been sitting in the fruit drawer of my fridge for months. I don’t want to demean other customers’ assessments, but it occurs to me some of them stem from a failure to grasp the realities.

This thing does the best it can. It’s a household appliance not a commercial juice extractor. It’s easy to use, relatively easy to clean and makes juice out of a lot of stuff, come I wouldn’t touch just for looking at it.

However, for the price, I would say go for it. I didn’t give it 5 stars because 5 stars are reserved for those things that exceed all my expectations. That’s a very, very exclusive club. It’s like playing 50 guitars of the same make and model and finding that one, that singular beauty which hits the sweet spot the minute you sit down to play.

It’s rare, but it happens. This Breville juicer is like that utility guitar you take out when there’s a tune running around in your head. It’ll do the job, not perfectly, but good enough.

I am just getting started into juicing and I loved this book. It has every recipe that you can begin to even imagine. Plus it gives very detailed information about things you need to know.

I have done my own juicing, and felt amazing. This did not happen with Juice from the Raw. Rule of thumb is 3:1 veggies to fruit. Just using the fruit to sweeten a bit. These juices are very sweet, with way too much fruit juices and sugar.

Drinking them for 4 days did wild things to my blood sugar, making me very light headed. I did not have this effect when I juiced my own.

I first tried your juice at a sports event. At the time I was temporarily working for Naked Juice! This was before Pepsi bought Naked Juice! I love the taste and ingredients that Suga Organic combines to make the green juice.

I buy mine at Costco. Thank you for an excellent product.

When I can’t make my own juices in the morning, it’s super big win for me when I find delicious bottled green juices. In this particular Suja, you’ll find apples, bananas, mango, lemon, kale, spinach, spirulina, chlorella, and barley grass.

The taste is spectacular and it goes down so easily! The only reason I didn’t give it 5 stars is because if the 35g of sugar in it. BUT, it IS cold-pressed and Suja does have options with lower grams of sugar.

Strongly recommend picking one up and giving it a try next time your at the grocery!!.

This is the best impulse buy of my life. I watched the Joe Cross documentary and watched a ton of YT videos after that and thought, ‘why not?’ I’d never drank raw vegan juice in my life that I’m aware of and now it’s mainly what I consume throughout the day.

For perspective, I weighed 360 pounds when this arrived approximately 3. 5 weeks ago, but I didn’t start juicing in earnest until 2 weeks ago. As of today, I weigh 336 pounds, but that’s only the start.

I didn’t start out fasting, just having red juice in the morning (kale, spinach, beets, carrots, celery, cucumbers, ginger) and then having green juice (celery, ginger, cucumbers, kale, spinach, maybe a lemon or a lime) throughout the day.

As long as I was doing this, I figured I should try to eat healthy as well. My rules – no sugar outside of the fruit in my juicer, no white carbs, no processed foods, junk food, fast food or frozen food.

Most importantly: I can be hungry but I won’t starve. Benefits I’ve seen: 1. It’s gotten control of my Type 2 diabetes. I rarely could sleep more than 2 hours at a time without having to go to the bathroom.

Now I’m sleeping six solid hours every night, and I wake up fresh. I fall asleep by 10 and I’m awake by four – no alarm, no snooze button, no grogginess. I wake up and within five minutes my day is rolling (I’m writing this at 430 in the morning after an email request from Nama).

2. Ohhh the energy boost – it’s as good as advertised. 3. I was diagnosed with Major Depression 20 years ago and have been hospitalized short- and long-term numerous times for it. It’s severe enough I’m looking at ketamine therapy and if that didn’t take, ECT (electro-convulsive therapy) I don’t remember a time I was actually somewhat happy, and now my mood is much better, so much more energy, and for me, the biggest one, I stay out of bed except when it’s time to sleep.

If I can avoid ketamine and ECT, this will be more than worth the $600. 4. My joint pain is disappearing – the weight loss has a lot to do with this I’m sure, but the anti-inflammatory properties of the juice I’m drinking is just as important IMHO (this also is wonderful for depression of all stripes).

5. I don’t get sleepy during the day. 6. My “brain fog” that’s been a part of my life for years has lifted. I’m more productive, active and creative. 7. My skin is clearing up – I had 2 small warts on my hand that I never did anything about, one of them disappeared and the other one is almost gone.

I’m currently on the fourth day of a fast and it’s going better than expected. I’ve been on a work trip for the last three weeks and have time off when I get home, and I’ll break my fast then but I’ll continue using my juicer for most of my sustenance each day.

The weight loss is wonderful, but the mental aspect is where it’s really hit me. High recommend – depending on your income, it may seem cost-prohibitive but if you’re considering it, make it happen!.

I bought this for my wife for her birthday. I don’t know anything about juicers, came across this by accident from a lady doing a juicing video. My wife said the juicer she was using was thee best juicer you could buy.

(A Nama J2) I was looking at buying her one off Amazon, till I heard this. My wife researches & researches & researches some more when looking at getting a product, we’re both similar in this way. She would never spend the money to buy one of these, but I will for her.

After listening to her tell me all about it I decided this was the one I was going to get her. Asked her just this morning is it worth the price tag that I paid for it. She said without hesitation, absolutely it is.

She loves how dry the pulp is when it comes out knowing it’s extracting all the juice, & how quite it is when it’s running. She especially loves how easy it is to use. Think she’s used it almost everyday since getting it.

She loves being in the kitchen, loves making, serving, and hosting people. It’s her passion, so her counter top appliances are all pretty high end. Though she is frugal with her money, it’s been such a joy to see her open this present, the smile it brought her, and her incredible excitement from texts & photos from her using it the very next day.

I looked around and found a 15% off coupon online which was awesome, but turned around and had to pay 52 bucks to get it in two days cause I waited a little too long and wanted her to have it on her Birthday.

I always tease her about the price of her kitchen counter appliances, about this Ferrari, this Lamborghini etc. and she said it is the Lamborghini on the counter. So far it has been an excellent product, excellent purchase, and makes my wife very happy! Which makes me very Happy!!.

This company should use me as their global spokesperson. I drink this juice like most people drink coffee; and go through 3-4 gallons per week. Everyone knows hands off my Juice. I’ve found a few contenders, but nothing better yet.

The gold standard of juices! Incomparable, fresh citrus flavor! Simply the best tasting, freshest, most flavorful juice available. This is as good as the fresh juice I’d buy from farmers in California.

I love Evolutiion fresh products. I typically buy the smaller snack size bottles because they always seem to be on sale at publix for buy one get one free. The orange juice is awesome! My fiance loves it! Great quality for a good price considering its organic.
