I don’t know the ins and outs of the video game industry that well. I can say from a casual gamer’s perspective, Valve is titan of video game development. The few and far between games they do release seem to be pet projects.

There’s not a bad game on their roster (Half Life, Portal, Team Fortress, Dota, etc). Left 4 Dead 2 is no different. Left 4 Dead 2 ups the gore, weapons, graphics, and multiplayer features like a great sequel should.

And where it slightly dials down the horror atmosphere of the first installment, it cranks the fun up to 11.

**NOTE** Sorry for my bad english! Every game where there are zombies, infected, or generally not dead, attracted attention, because for gamers, this will no doubt prove a reasonable cause to “kill” an “enemy” who “deserves” a decapitation or amputation of a limb.

When the first Left 4 Dead many wondered what ever the case, a survival horror, a sort of plagiarism to resident evil. None of this, indeed, to the expense of just hype that the game was able to arouse the title soon proved a blockbuster, offering players xbox360, above all, the first real game where cooperation with other players is vital.

In this sequel mechanics are taken verbatim from his predecessor. A group of 4 human is forced, reluctantly, to having to cross southern areas of the United States crammed with infected, fighting, thus for survival with the use of weapons of body body, firearms and objects that effort will keep them for life as long as possible.

The new material is the introduction of melee weapons (10 to be exact) and the addition of new special aumentaranno infected (even more) the variety of situations both in story mode mode “adversary. ” Campaigns available are 5, time available right now for various modes playable, which classics campaign opponent, survival, it adds a fourth: the seeker, where, as in the opponent, 2 teams of 4 players in the shoes of infected and hinder Human collect cans to fill in, depending on the map, a car, a generator, or other items that allow the salvation of humans.

A very good variation of games “Adversary” as frantic and without frills, an excuse to throw “the fray” and begin to shoot, or jump on humans. Graphically the title is in order Very nice, nothing that makes a miracle, is well clear, but some points in certain campaigns are epic, see wheat field with a heavy rain, or marshes, which make the atmosphere so sublime that the game wants to give to the player.

So it’s not amazing, but well done to what you need. Then more day and night environments compared to the first chapter, with different situations and approaches more “tactical” mode opponent. The sound seems to be the Achilles’ heel of this title, nothing exciting and nothing will remain as a “tune” in my head, but what little is done discreetly.

The gameplay is perfect, after a couple of games you will know perfectly master the human and mechanics of the game, very intuitive, we will give also great satisfaction when you use the infected in match opponent, where you’ll have a world to attack the opponents with the new infected (the jockey, a kind of a jockey the spitter: an infected spitting on the ground and pools of acid do devastating damage to humans, the charger: it seems that a tank “Charge” literally as if they were human bowling).

The longevity, as the first title, will give you hours of entertainment, online course, especially if played with friends, where a minimum in the tactics of the infected (Both in “adversary” or with “seeker”), raise fun and the desire to test new strategies and new combinations of moorings.

The power of those infected in this Chapter really exaggerated, had inevitably rebalance the scoring in the opposing party, very well made and balanced, where indeed a meter more made to salvation than the opposing team may decide victory or defeat.

Left4Dead was back then, at the expense of the criticisms that have accompanied the game, you demonstrates, once again, and it does screaming, which is one of gaming experience more fun to live and online friends.

It is as awesome as I remember, and a god-send since I can’t run it on PC. Sadly the free baseball bat expired in 2009 but I’m grateful it was still included.

I purchased this for my 8 year old grand twins, because the girl loves cats, and they both like board games. Their dad and mom play monopoly a lot, but not with the kids. This says ages 8 and up. It was perfect! The first time we played, the kids didn’t want to stop, but I insisted we take a break after 2 hours.

(Yes, this is a “cat” version of Monopoly, so it does take time, but time flies. ) I can’t wait to visit them again to play the game with them. Highly recommend.

I received this board game within 4 days of ordering it!! I purchased this game as a Christmas gift for my 8 year old granddaughter. I researched the company before ordering. This company is based in Cinncinatti , Ohio.

Every part and piece of this game is made within a small radius of the city. Yes, made in the USA!!! I didn’t have to advance order or wait forever to receive the game. Because this is a Christmas gift, I can’t comment on how much fun it will be.

I did find that there are facts of the various breeds to be discovered while playing. I look forward to giving this gift!.

I bought this for being raised in Chicago and growing up there, for nostalgic reasons. But once I actually seen this game in person I was disappointed in the manufacture of the game. The game pieces could have represented the iconic features in Chicago and there could have been made better choices of the game board itself.

There’s so much to choose from I understand that but with that being said I think the choices made were not good, all could have been better. But like I said because of nostalgic reasons I bought this game and will try to enjoy it as is.

So I didn’t play Plants Vs Zombies Garden Warfare 1, but I did play the phone game on iOS and Android so when I heard that there is a Plants Vs Zombies 2 game coming out for Xbox One, I was pretty suspicious at first.

However, I got a chance to play the beta and it definitely impressed me. Overview of the game: This game is actually a fresh take on a shooter game with both multiplayer and a single player mode. Definitely a great improvement compared to the mobile game that they released.

This is a full fledged shooter comparable to other hardcore shooter games such as Call of Duty, Battlefield, Halo, etc. except that it is kid-friendly and instead of different guns and loadouts, you have different plants and zombies with different abilities and attacks.

I really like the innovative spin that they put on a typical shooter with their different plants and zombies with different types of attacks and abilities. It is definitely loads of fun with lots of replay value.

I mainly played the multiplayer (because that is mainly what I was interested in) and even a veteran shooter gamer like me who played almost all shooters made such as COD, Battlefield, Halo, Gears of War, Resistance, etc.

enjoyed thoroughly. Best part about this is that this is kid-friendly for all of those protective parents who dont want their kids to play violent video games. However, I will have to say that this game should be priced like a typical arcade game (even though it is a fully polished game) because it would get a bigger fan base.

So the price may be pretty steep, but it is definitely an enjoyable game and gives you a fresh take on typical multiplayer shooters.

I bought this game based off of game play footage from the beta and the intro video. I am actually really pleasantly surprised with how much enjoyment I’ve got out of playing this game. There are a lot of game mode types in which to enjoy different play styles.

Unlocking characters is fun though at times a little tedious – I wish they had more variety of packs for non-rare to super rare characters or included some consumables in the highest priced pack with the character pieces.

The game modes are as follows: Garden ops/zombie ops – you can play both factions coop with 4 players Story quests – both factions Infinity mode – end fun mode with large animal robots and gnomes. PVP – with many different game modes Endless waves at the flag of power.

– this mode would be more fun if there was higher multipliers and more coins for this game type so that you could level your characters with friends a little easier while not sinking way too many hours into the game.

People said during the beta the multipliers remained from normal quests which I wish were still the case or at least 1x exp and normal money. So far I have been getting more enjoyment out of the playability of this game than FarCry Primal.

Farcry is a bit more repetitive and doesn’t have split screen for my wife and I to enjoy together. The split screen is a little too limited though. Why can’t we play online with other people or do quests together? Overall I would give it 5 stars because it is a great fun game with lots of options for fun game types with friends of all ages.

I bought this game to play with my girlfriend and my 5 year old son. They both love it. I’m more of a realistic shooter/RPG fan, my girlfriend is a casual gamer, and my son is just starting to play. I played this non-stop for a couple days but grew tired of it pretty quick.

Even though I got bored with the game it’s still something we can all pick up and get an afternoon of enjoyment from together. It has violence but it’s cartoon violence- no worse than what’s on children’s cartoons these days.

The controls are intuitive and easy. The characters, animations, and environments are great, very creative, and humorous. Think of it along the same lines as the Lego games but more exciting and with fewer puzzles or required teamwork.

Although this is no Call of Duty, Gears of War, or Fallout, I definitely recommend this game to anyone who is wanting to play casually with their significant other or younger kids.

I bought 2 copies for my daughter and i to co-op the story mode regions like you can do on other consoles. But they removed all the co-op besides the lobby area. So basically is not co-op on switch. Horrible marketing to say it is still co-op.

Also the graphics are downgraded to badly. Many switch ports look great but this one is terrible. Pixelated badly in handheld or docked mode.

Honestly I like these plants vs zombies games more than the original app that sparked not only success but also many successful spin off games. This is to be a parody of Call of Duty: Modern Warfare.

If you don’t like talking to people or don’t like hearing people on the headsets ridicule you for passing the game than this may be the best way to enjoy the game because Nintendo doesn’t have voice chat available on their switch.

Most people use discord to get past nintendo’s draconian practices. I didn’t like the PS3 game because kids younger than 8 would play the game and cus me out for not playing the game how they wanted, so I muted the headsets between sessions and went back to playing.

Again for those who hated being insulted by little kids, than playing this game on the switch may be the best choice for you.

This is a great collector’s item for any fan of Dragon Ball Z! The tokens are well sculpted and have a good weight to them. All the pictures and characters are nicely portrayed around the board, accessories, as well as the box itself.

It includes the classic game mode, but also a different set of rules that incorporates the DBZ theme, to give this particular round of Monopoly an awesome twist! Overall, this is worth the purchase for anyone looking to expand their game board collection!.

The AC/DC board game is unique. I purchased this to add to my husband’s AC/DC collection. The plastic came ripped along one entire side. The corner was dented bad and two different spots on the box was damaged besides the corner.

For the amount of money I paid for it and knowing most people would collect it and not play with it. I was highly disappointed in the condition it came in.

Otherwise, just get this awesome game, or the sequel for other platforms. I don’t think there’s anything different to this version. I’m personally a huge fan of DS, and I was watching NintendoCapriSun’s let’s play of the sequel on Youtube, and I got a huge urge to get this game.

Since I’m a collector and from Europe, the price for the PAL version was just a bit too high though, and it seems to be quite rare. One difference actually is that the graphics are made in pixels, which is very charming in my opinion.

Frame rate drops are an issue in this version though, you’ll see that a lot. The game was still very enjoyable from start to finish, and from my perspective, I wouldn’t even understand it if someone didn’t like this game.

The gameplay is unique (not that original though) and engaging. It’s not too difficult for better players though, but you can challenge yourself, try different plants, there’s plenty of them, and once you get the plant which makes you money, try to farm yourself some WHILE completing each level, that is one fun challenge.

And speaking of money in this game, I have a tip for you: play the puzzles/mini-games when you get them, that’s where you get a lot of money, so you can actually buy a few things from the shop before you complete the main game.

Also,don’t sell your Zen Garden plants, I’m not too sure, but I think they generate more money for you if you just keep them. There’s quite a lot of variety in the game, and there’s even a Download Play multiplayer mode, which I’ve tried, and it’s fun! The other player uses plants, the other uses zombies, and it’s a challenge for both sides to beat each other.

So there’s quite a few levels, quite a few plants, tons of bonus stuff, but the game is mostly pick-up and play kind of a game, so it’s not something with hours and hours of depth (unlike PvZ2, probably), you’ll get the most enjoyment out of it on buss rides or on some relaxing evenings for example, because it doesn’t keep you engaged for too long periods at a time.

So, it’s a small, tight package of a game. It’s not supposed to be anything more, so it doesn’t need anything more, it’s pretty much near perfect, and I recommend it to every DS fan.

I grew up with the PC version of Bejeweled Twist. Decided to give the DS version a try. This is a port, through and through. I play on a New 3DS XL, so the graphics won’t look as crisp as they would on a smaller 3DS or DS, but they’re alright.

You can perform moves using either the stylus, or the D pad and A button. Every game mode from the PC version is present and accounted for, including the Challenge Mode with so many sub-challenges within.

So by buying this, you are indeed getting the full content of the original. But as for myself, I’ll have to find my installation disc for the PC version. it’s in my old room somewhere.

A great game for kids. The synopsis is that there is a group of hungry zombies slowly marching towards your house and you need to put some plants in their way. Some plants shoot peas at the zombies until their heads and arms fall off, later there will be plants that catapult melons.

The currency is “suns” and you need to plant sunflowers to get $uns to buy more plants. I bought this for a bright 5 year old who had already tried the limited “free” web version of the game. The full CD version includes lots of different variations including playing for the zombie team, a zombie aquarium and the chance to grow your own plants.

My son is so proud that he’d done enough to get his own tree! He is learning a lot from the game although he does get upset when his sister does a zombie walk. He doesn’t understand all the numbers but this game is a great motivation to help him in that area.

It’s superb and well structured with a good variety of tasks as you “unlock” different areas. Maybe a little scary for a 5 year old but it’s less so than, say, Scooby-Doo. Obviously it’s also a great chance for adults to learn the best strategy to avoid addiction as it’s easier to teach a child to limit computer time before (s)he becomes a teenager!.

I played Modern Warfare years ago on the PS3 and class it as a pretty flawless experience. So when I picked up a 2nd hand Wii recently, I was curious to how such a grand PS3 game translated to a console with the power of a PS2.

On the whole the game is very impressive. Lets start with the graphics, I played my Wii using a component cable allowing playback at 480p on a HD monitor, and in this mode the games looks really good, its looks like a PC version of the game running on lower settings.

The characters, levels and weapons are all the same as the PS3/360 versions, in fact its hard to see where the Wii’s hardware lets it down. The only time I could see the Wii struggling is in some of the larger battles, you only end up fighting a few enemies, before the game loads more in.

The controls are maybe one of the weakest parts of the game. The Wiimote is a great piece of kit, its accurate and responsive, however the level design of the game is the same as the PS3/360 versions.

So there are times when the control set up really lets it down, for example there is no ‘quick turn’, your character will turn when you point the Wiimote at the left or right of the screen, but this turn is slower than a traditional controller, as such when you enter a building and find an enemy in the corner (or behind you) it takes forever to turn to attack them, this can lead to many deaths.

The game desperately needed a ‘classic controller’ or ‘gamecube controller’ option for those players who just want to chill on the sofa playing a bit of COD. As have to stand and move about means you only get through a few levels at a time.

Multiplayer; Lets be clear there is no offline multiplayer at all, which is a bit of a downer but you can understand that the Wii is already punching above its weight just playing the game. However as of 08/2017 there is still online multiplayer severs up and running, which came as a big surprise, but is very cool to play online almost a decade later.

Replay value; With no offline multiplayer, and infuriating controls there is little to do after the main campaign and that control issue means playing it through at anything higher than medium difficulty is going to take some serious dedication.

Overall the game is good fun, and for the most part the new control system does add to the overall gameplay. For a few quid its worth picking up, and makes for a good party game, passing over the controller when you die on a campaign level, and seeing your mates who’ve mastered other console versions of Modern Warfare, just fall about like idiots, and getting furious trying to get through levels on easy difficulty.

As mentioned graphics aren’t so good (but hey game was developed in 2007!!) but the modes, the story, the various combat scenario are amazing. Sometimes it feels like you really participate in the development of combat operations! (The only thing doesn’t make sense is that this is suppose to be the beginning of the journey for “SOAP” McTavish character under the leadership of captain Price, when this is COD MW4 game and they have been already co-deployed in missions in call of duty MW2???) Anyway back to MW4 just to summarise I am very satisfied from this game, well done guys, keep up the good work!!! :).

We play this game alot as a family online via PS, but my Son wanted to play it on his Switch too when he’s bored in college as he enjoys it. Theres a campaign mode where you can play alone & I’m not sure about multi platform compatibility for gaming together, we haven’t tried that yet.

But you can play online in a multiplayer lobby if you connect the console to a good data connection while out & about or while home. The graphics are good on a normal Switch/Lite, not much different to the PS tbh.

Games modes are things like “Defend a mark” & “Capture zones A/B/C/D” think old CoD modes but zombies & plants.

Really fun!!! Took me a few plays to figure out how to go about all of the controls and how to get those zombies but all in all I play almost every day and it’s super fun, all the characters and commentary is so cute! I definitely recommended years 10 and up.

It can be challenging!! I also love that you can play both as plants and zombies :).

Been playing PVZ garden warfare since day one and have played all of them. This is the worst of all three so far. The play mechanics are broken, sloppy and a joke. You can tell they brought in a new team of probably cheaper devs that had no experience with this game.

Please stay away from this garbage game, people here who are leaving this 5 stars are clueless and have no idea what they are saying.

Ordered this for my son’s birthday and and while it came cracked in the center they were quick to send out a new one to replace it Even told me to just keep the old one! Game works perfectly and as it should! I found DK.

Oldies two years ago and have been using them for all my gaming needs since. Everything is cheap and comes in near perfect condition every single time. If you ever have any problems they are quick to help you and find a solution to solving the problem! You even earn points towards free stuff as you shop which i think is pretty cool! I definitely recommend them for all your gaming needs.

Infinity wards superb shooter is the game that defines the xbox 360. A decade on it still looks great and spawned many copies of the genre but holds up well even against some of the current generation mediocre offerings.

One of the best selling games ever with a massive online gaming culture its the best call of duty on par with maybe black ops 2 a close second. Beautifully made with controls often mimicked today as so good Graphics and sound design still outstanding.

A real gem. As I said. Still cuts the mustard. They say imatation is the highest form of flattery. If so Activision nailed this back in 2009.

This game is a must have for call of duty fans! Play the riveting campaign packed full of action and surprise, or come experience the very beginning of the zombies franchise. Multiplayer feels great and has a fun combat system.

Id highly recommend this game to anyone looking to experience the classics. I always wanted to play the original zombies and Im very happy with the way the whole game feels. The campaign is especially great and feels good to control.

Each episode starts with these awesome graphics that feel timeless and unique. Zombies is absolutely worth getting the dlc for as well. I played only a minor amount of the multiplayer but thought it was great too.

Overall Id give this game a 10/10, and it still holds up in 2021 (year of this review).

I ordered World at War and the 3 modern warfare games. The day after placing my order I received an email saying world at war was unfortunately backordered. Well the day following that I got another email saying world at war had shipped and it actually arrived before my other three games! The game is in fantastic condition and I played it today! Would definitely purchase from DKoldies again!.

Honestly, I am psyched that the activation key is valid and I can play on a local multiplayer server. I have heard of so many issues with the STEAM version, I took a chance and paid less than $10 with shipping and I could not be more satisfied.

I believe steam charges $25-$30 and then it doesn’t work for a bunch of players. I am so glad that I took the chance and bought the hard copy DVD. It was not new, but the activation worked perfectly and the disc was in great condition.

I play multiplayer and there are not a lot of matches. I’m surprised the servers are still online after like 10 or more years. I have a blast locally with my bro on LAN. Brings back memories of playing it on the Wii.

Them Dogs are still scary, must’ve been traumatized by them when I was a wee one.

vibrant, ambitious, open-world playground. Here, buildings are for climbing, the undead are there to be destroyed in creative ways, and there’s always something interesting to be discovered nearby. It takes a while for that to become clear, though; at first, you might even think Dying Light is really about running scared from mobs of seemingly unconquerable zombies, who can quickly drain your stamina and wear out your improvised weapons.

Don’t be fooled.

Incredible replay value with many modes, including 4v4 – 4 survivors vs. 4 infected and user-made coop maps and campaigns. Left 4 Dead has multiple difficulties to choose from which changes the gameplay experience.

The game is hectic and fun to play with or without friends. If you decide to play the campaigns alone with ai bots it can be quite frightening. The setting is as believable as it can get and oozing atmosphere through graphics and sound.

A great buy in 2008 and a great buy now with a still active playerbase online on the Steam platform.

Best game ever made for xbox 360 and part 2 is even better. You will be addicted to this game and it is much better playing a game requiring some skill than watching reruns of a tv show that went off the air 10 years ago 🙂 I wrote this review 10 years ago and still play this game online almost daily in 2023.

The game is great really fun offline or online. Be Ready To Face The Horde: The number of games that can elicit genuine jumps of surprise and such an extended string of profanities, as Left 4 Dead expertly can, are few and far between.

This is not a psychological horror game, it’s purely physical. Your survivor can be attacked by the living dead from any angle, from any location as the smart level design ensures that you’ll never feel safe anywhere, even when you’re back is against the wall.

Zombies will pop out of air ducts, through drywall, from rooms you mistakenly thought were empty there’s a real feeling of being hunted by an overwhelming force. The dynamic horror-cliche score adds a great sense of dread.

Getting Infected: Playing as one of the four human survivors is a blast, as mowing down legions of the undead is a formula for fun. But playing as the Infected in Versus mode is pure, uncut, grade-A bliss.

Strategizing with your undead teammates can make for thrilling white-knuckle, swearing into the microphone action, the type of multiplayer experiences you’ll be talking about well after your game is over.

Batting hapless Survivors to death with the Tank is a joyous violent release. The Versus mode’s alternating teams ensure that everyone gets a chance to enjoy both factions and never gets bored.

I was hoping to relive those great Modern Warfare memories, but they should remain memories. There is nothing wrong with the game itself, it is the greed surrounding it that has completely tainted my experience.

The game is the same old thing just touched up, which is good but underwhelming. The first major problem is for a remaster, and I assume definitive version of the game, you only get the core of the original for multiplayer.

None of the additional maps are included. BUT WAIT, you can still buy them for full price like a decade ago. The second biggest aggravation, and the one that pushed me over the edge is, IT STILL REQUIRES A 70 GB MANDATORY DOWNLOAD in addition to installing the game!!!! Why do you ask? So they can add a MULTIPLAYER CASH GRAB hub where you can spend more of your money on crates.

It is literally just as if they peeled the xbox360/PS3 stickers off of the discs, resold them to you, and you digitally download the new version of the game! This game takes more space on your hard drive than any AAA game released to date.

The best re-imagining of any old school title ever made. Period. Everything is how you remember it, graphics are pumped up beyond my expectations and the new animations are smooth and feel original. The new weapons are a bit much in my opinion but its largely unchanged.

New game modes are a welcome surprise but equally fun to play as the old stuff. See you in Ground War.

This remaster is great. This game comes from a time when the direction was realism and the warfare was realistic. No bright fortnite colors, no video game wall jumping or sliding, no super futuristic gadgets.

The action is fast. Weapons and kill streaks are things that exist for the most part. The original was a breakthrough for its time and the remaster looks great in 4K. Oh yeah, this COD has a story that doesn’t suck.
