While there are many types of cloth diapers, nighttime cloth diapers are designed to provide extra absorbency for babies who sleep for longer periods of time. Most nighttime cloth diapers have an extra insert or layer of fabric to increase absorbency.
Nighttime cloth diapers are typically made of natural fibers such as cotton or bamboo, which are more absorbent than synthetic fibers.
Nighttime cloth diapers can help to prevent leaks and keep your baby dry and comfortable throughout the night. They can also help to reduce the risk of diaper rash and other skin problems. cloth diapers are generally more expensive than disposable diapers, but they can be reused multiple times, which can save money in the long run.
Childhood Diapers Bambino mio Miosolo All in One Diaper Lazy Swing 165 gr The award-winning all-in-one diaper is simple, elegant and very soft. As easy to use as a disposable! The diaper is only one size, therefore it will grow with the baby from birth until he learns to use the potty.
The size of the diaper can be changed using the buttons and the adhesive closures to adapt it to the shape of your baby. Its super absorbent internal core and inner layer that stays dry retain moisture and let your baby’s delicate skin stay fresh and dry.
The outer fabric is waterproof and so elastic that it is suitable even for the most active babies. The unique ‘pull-out’ system makes extracting the core of the interior as easy as possible – this improves the washing performance and accelerates the drying time.
The fabric remains soft washed after washing, making the diaper more comfortable for your baby’s bottom. Made of 100% polyurethane polyester laminate, interior: 100% polyester, core: 85% polyester, 15% nylon.
It is fulfilled in most cases but, since there are babies of a variety of shapes and sizes, this can not be guaranteed.

Whats in the box – 6 One-Size reusable cloth diapers with fleece lining and 12 deluxe reusable inserts. (6 small size and 6 M/L size) Tips – If you are hesitant about cloth diapering, try one during the night at first, as babies tend to not poo during the night.
For easy clean up, top it up with a disposable liner, use disposable inserts when on the go.
I received these free from Influenster for my 2. 5yr old son to try in exchange for my personal opinion based on my findings; a product I’d never actually tried on any of my 3 kids until now. it was better than I’d anticipated! 1st off, the size was right for my son, who is usually between sizes 5 6 for diapers, sizes 2T/3T – 3T/4T for Pull-Ups, Easy-Ups, anything you pull on.
He tried the size O/S M/L in the set of Charlie Banana neutral pastel cloth diapers was fine with the 1st set of adjustment snap closures. THEY ARE THE SOFTEST, MOST PLUSH DIAPERS IN THE WORLD! I could tell my son LOVED them! And we called them “big boy undies” or “underwear” as we’re still in the beginning stages of potty training.
The 1st he tried was the baby-blue, which he soiled in. I was shocked at how easily the poop washed off. I 1st rinsed in lukewarm/cold water in my sink, then when there was no sign of anything (I won’t go into detail so you can use your imagination), I removed the liner from interior slot, I then power washed with the sink sprayer, did the same for outer shell of diaper.
Not a single stain! I hung it to dry popped in my washer on gentle cycle, I’m suspecting will be in great shape when it’s out! my only qualm is that I was sure I knew which side was the front of diaper, but when putting on him it looked like I’d put it on backwards.
So the next diaper I tried the other side, but it looked even more wrong switched it back immediately. It was odd, so I wonder if it was the way I put diaper on and/or snapped it. I’ll have to look further into the instructions (feel foolish admitting it).
But, even if I’m not incorrectly putting on diaper, I’d still choose to put these on my toddler b/c every other benefit of this product is well worth the slight annoyance in my eyes! Also, these STAYED ON SO WELL! AND, my son didn’t try to pull them off (or couldn’t do so successfully).
They absorbed a long naptime’s worth of pee without a single leak, which was the most astonishing thing to me! highly recommend these!.
When I first had my baby and began thinking about possibly using reusable diapers. The expense of diapers was/has been substantial and I looked into a diaper service and after doing the math there actually wasnt much of a diffrence between using disposable diaper of using reusable ones with a diapering service, which was crazy to me.
I was looking for a product I could reuse, I was looking for THESE! Not only do they practically eliminate the cost of diapers, (I will admit there will be time I will still use disposable diapers just for convince and go not have to carry around a dirty diaper on outtings, but as far as being at home with my child as a stay at home parent, this is the perfect product to eliminate TV he cost of disposable diapers.
My daughter also has a constant mild rash that responded very well to the softness of these diapers. I was also incredibly surprised when I had just changed my daughter’s diaper end thought she had just gone number to directly after.
In any case she just tooted as well as going number one. I was very surprised at the incredibly dry feeling her diaper felt even after having gotten wet. in the pictures you can tell my set came with mostly girl colors and you can see that each diaper came with an insert that very easily slides in the diaper cover.
when I’m getting ready to wash, I put all of the diapers in the bathtub and give them a good rinse with hot water before putting them in the washer. I will say if I was going to use this as a more permanent solution which I still may, I would buy at least 15 to 20 diapers.
one of the things that I thought was so cool was that these diapers claimed to be one size and that a child could wear them from newborn to 36 months. after using them I can see that with all of the snaps it makes it not only possible, it makes for a really soft and snug wit during each stage!.
My family has been a strictly cloth diapering family since 2015. We have a few brands that are tried and true. I was very excited to try Charlie Banana and see how they worked for our family. I love how trim they are.
They don’t add a ton of bulk, so babies and toddlers can still wear their normal size clothes. They performed well and washed up like a dream! I was surprised that the pocket for the insert was at the front of the diaper, but I actually love that placement.
The only two “cons” (and these are preferences) I have are the sizing elastics were sort of tricky to maneuver, and I am not a fan of microfiber inserts. I definitely recommend these diapers to any family looking to try cloth diapering.

The Lil Joey is an AIO all in one cloth diaper with a sewn in soaker and no pocket. This specialty cloth diaper was designed to fill the gap between a newborn size and other brands of one size cloth diapers.
The Lil Joey fits babies from 4-12 lbs. The Lil Joey has a snap down center for easy umbilical care and comfort. The Lil Joey is a 2 size or grow with me cloth diaper as it has a shorter rise setting in the snapped down position and then a higher rise settings in the unsnapped position.
The inside of each cloth diaper is designed with 2 gentle internal gussets that channel each leg. No chance of escape for even the messiest of messes with this cloth diaper from Rumparooz! Keep that cute outfit clean! Lil Joey BiodegradabilityThe waterproof material on Lil Joey is TPU not PUL.
PUL is a polyester fabric that has been laminated with a poly-urethane laminate using a solvent and chemical process. This process off-gases harmful toxic fumes that destroy.
I wish there had been more honest reviews on this when I purchased 6 sets of 2. if I had the packaging I’d return them!! but our daughter is 7lb 6oz. dropped to 7lb 4oz when brought home. currently weights 8lb 2oz.
Pros: cute designs. and love the button down for umbilical cord. Cons: the buttons up top have 2 sizes. the smallest fit great around the waist but already fits too tight around her legs. so we tried to go to bigger buttons and there is a gap in the top.
also, they are difficult to wash. I’ve done all their recommended care, even purchased 3 different detergents thinking it would help. it did not. I would snap inside out and toss in a 2019 whirlpool nice wash and still nothing.
I hand washed and was able to get all but a faint yellow stain out. Also, these leak. from the 1st week, at first I thought I didnt change her quick enough and she went twice but nope. the outer material is not waterproof.
I keep using them bc I dont want to waste more money and but disposables I just check her every 30 minutes. lastly, no way these will fit her past 9lb. her legs are already pushing it. she is not a chubby baby either.
but her booty is already as wide as the inside inner portion. so there isnt much more room. it causes her poops to seep out of the inner elastic but luckily it hasn’t escaped the outer elastic. yet!!!.
These made it easy to start cloth diapering our baby as soon as we got home from the hospital. The all-in-one style and umbilical cord snap made this just as easy as disposables and much cuter. Absolutely loved our Lil’ Joeys.
Only down side was they take forever to dry and babe outgrew absorbency after a couple months even though size was still good. That said, definitely recommend them. If you can afford to start with these before switching to the Rumparoos, do it.
I bought these for my nearly-9lb newborn and she wore them for a few weeks before outgrowing them. She didn’t fit in one-size diapers yet, so I appreciated having this transitional option. While these diapers are kind of pricey, the quality is fantastic.
They size down for really little newborns and preemies, but can fit up to 12 lbs. I found that the notch for the umbilical cord was a really great feature. This is the softest diaper you will ever find! While wearing these diapers, my newborns have slept like.
well, babies! Ease of Use These diapers are totally self-explanatory. Nothing to stuff, fold, or assemble- you merely put the diaper on the baby! I think the snaps make for a particularly durable diaper, but they do take a little bit of practice.
But I promise, you are smarter than the diaper. Leak Prevention I love how absorbent these are! Fewer leaks makes a sleepy mama very happy. Comfort The ultra-soft diaper obviously felt great on my babies.
They looked comfortable while wearing them and never had any issues with red marks from too-tight elastic. Absorbency These diapers are pretty thick compared to other newborn AIOs. I think they do a great job of providing good absorbency, especially when my kids started sleeping longer stretches at night.
Give your nighttime diaper a boost by adding an Overnighter insert. Overnighters are made of eight layers of absorbent organic cotton and one layer of stay-dry fleece. Fleece allows moisture to pass through to be absorbed by the cotton, but stays dry feeling to the touch to keep your baby feeling comfortable through the night.
To use, simply lay an Overnighter (fleece side up, so that it’s touching baby’s skin) inside your Esembly Inner (sold separately), and put the Inner and Outer on as usual. If your baby is a very heavy wetter, you can use 2, or even 3 Overnighters at a time.
Launder Overnighters with your Esembly Inners and Outers every 2-3 days using Esembly Washing Powder (or similar clean-rinsing detergent) as per Esembly’s super-simple, step-by-step wash instructions.
We’ve been using the esembly diapering system almost exclusively since our daughter was a month old and we’ve been loving it. Now she’s 4 months and just started sleeping through the night. Yay!! One big problem though— diaper rash.
Poor thing got it BAD (we had successfully avoided diaper rash until this point). I thought we were going to have to use a disposable overnight until I went back to esembly’s website and found these overnight inserts.
They’re a game-changer! I also ordered the fleece liners and the rash relief cream. Again, both excellent products and my baby’s bum is back to being smooth and rash-free. I’ve been so impressed with how quickly the cream helped and how dry she stays with the fleece liners.
I am beyond happy we found this cloth diapering system.
I generally use two of these each night to get through the night and my girl seems to do ok with it. I was worried about diaper rash but I use a powder regularly or diaper cream to prevent and treat as needed.
You end up with a huge diaper and need to fasten them shut more loosely. It’s funny how all blogs or books discussing getting baby to sleep through the night don’t seem to address the diaper issue. you’re told to do minimal activity when feeding overnight and just get them back to sleep.
Diaper changing certainly wakes up my girl and as she’s doing about five hour stretches at 5 weeks old I decided we better just do guarantee a 12 hour window to keep her snoozing.
I don’t have an issue with these really, they’re good for what they’re supposed to be good for which is a compact and ready few layers with the fleece lining to wick moisture. So they do their job. But for the price I’d honestly prefer to just use some other kind of layer made of the same cotton material, and top it with the fleece liners from Esembly that stay softer and cover a larger area anyway.
And like the title says, the fleece on these immediately gets those little fabric fluff balls for some reason and the fleece liners don’t get that aside from the underside which doesn’t touch baby’s bum.
Bambo Nature Overnight Diapers feature super-absorbent technology so you can put your baby to bed knowing they’ll be comfortable! These overnight diapers are designed to reduce the number of night-time diaper changes, which means more sleep for the entire family.
Like all Bambo Nature products, these diapers are designed to minimize the risks of allergy and diaper rash; with innovative breathable materials and a certified promise that this product is free of harmful preservatives, perfumes, and parabens.
We are doing a hybrid diapering system, cloth diapers along with disposables. I did my research and decided on the Bambo’s – we wanted something better for our babe and more eco-friendly. We received a good amount of diapers at our shower and we were excited to give them a try.
I am shocked with the positive reviews and high start rating (one of the main reasons we went with this brand). Maybe we got a defective or old package, but these are by far the worst diapers I have ever used on a baby.
I nannied for a number of years and have seen a bunch of diaper brands in my years. These felt cheap and thin, not to mention the fit seemed completely off. The first few days, he had blowouts with each diaper change.
Fine, I could let that slide – things happen. BUT what happened last night is the reason I’m taking time to write this review. He woke up screaming bloody murder – while changing his diaper we noticed white particles all over his legs/butt/privates.
We found stringy elastic material coming apart from the diaper everywhere – worst was there was a piece wrapped around his little balls causing him pain. Thankfully he wasn’t in this diaper for an extended period of time and after a quick bath his pain seemed to subside.
I’m beyond disappointed with these diapers! This was the only brand we were going with and now we have multiple bags of BAMBOs that I don’t have a clue what to do with. Not a chance they’re ever going back on our babe.
I don’t even want to DONATE these diapers. Absolute Trash.
We have used the overnight, original and dream Bambo Nature Diapers. We did not like the dream (fit not got, lots of leaks) and the original was the best “clean” diaper we’ve tried, we were even able to use them overnight.
When the original was discontinued we were excited to try these overnights but they are not as good as the original. We use them during the day as they are not absorb any enough for our heavy wetter toddler overnight.
The fit is good and we love that the diapers are safe for our daughters skin. However, when we remove the diaper, there are thin elastic strings that come loose in the diaper. We use Aquaphor to prevent diaper rash/eczema and I suspect the ointment causes the elastic strings to breakdown.
We still use these diapers but if I had a son I would be concerned the strings would wrap around his genitals. We use Coterie at night because they are more absorbent (although more bulky and more expensive) and use Bambo Overnights during the day.
These diapers have been nothing but a headache. Pee everywhere! We have used Bambo diapers for 6 years. LOVED the classic diaper. We use cloth during the day and Bambo Classics were our nighttime diaper for 3 kids.
We just ran out two weeks ago (I stocked up when they were discontinued!) so I decided to try the overnight diapers. It’s been such a headache. Every other night I’m having to get up and change my 2 year old’s wet bedding and pajamas and diaper.
It’s not leaks, it’s lack of absorbency. A classic Bambo would last 12 hours and then some. But these overnight diapers hardly make it 6 hours. We had her start going potty before we put her to bed, but it hasn’t helped.
She’s 24lbs, so size 4 should fit her. I’m not going to waste my money to try a size bigger. I’m so disappointed!! This is the first time Bambo has ever let us down. I don’t love the dream diapers, they didn’t seem as breathable as the classics, but that’s better than constantly being woken up to a toddler in a wet bed.
I’ll have to use those while I search for a better nighttime solution.
Our nighttime doublers have 6 wonderful layers of micro fiber, for extra absorbency, and work as a doubler with Buttons daytime inserts snapped on top. Buttons cloth inserts snap right into our one-size diapers covers.
Plus, they come in 2 sizes for your growing baby (small fits babies 9-20 lbs. , large fits babies 20-35 lbs. ) Note: the nighttime doubler is made to be used with our daytime insert snapped on top. The daytime insert has a top layer of soft moisture-wicking fleece to keep baby’s skin dry.
My son is a nerf super soaker but these inserts can handle it! No leaks, no wetness irritation…no nothin! I almost thought my son hadn’t peed in 3 hours bc this insert was barely damp to the touch! (But then i squeezed it out and wow there was a lot of pee).
I’m so happy I came across these on here. Of every baby product I’ve tried these are one of of my favourites. I have a heavy wetter and oh boy do these hemp inserts do the trick. I thought we were going to have to give up cloth diapering until a friend recommended these to me.
I love these liners! I bought them as a solution for the constant leaking I was experiencing and they do wonders at absorbing, even with a heavy wetter. I can’t use them overnight though because my son is such a heavy wetter and needs to be changed every 4 hours.
I recommend these for anyone that has a heavy wetter or absorbency issues when it comes to cloth diapering. These make up half of the liners I bought for my own stash, with the other half being FST.
Keep your baby dry and comfortable with these Honest Company. Designed for babies up to 35 plus pounds, these diapers are free of harsh chemicals to ensure baby does not get a rash. They feature sturdy adhesive straps and reinforced legs to protect against leaks and stay on even when they wriggle, roll, crawl, or start walking.
These diapers boast superior absorption, letting both you and your baby get the rest you deserve.
I’ve got to say. I wanted to love these diapers. For no other reason then they are aesthetically pleasing and they seemed to have pretty good reviews and feedback. I think most people like them because they do have a great overall design and fit, and the overnight ones are more absorbent.
I went back and forth between these overnights and regular diapers, and my other favorite buggies because they are both similar fit and design, basically they fit the baby’s back and always seemed like those 2 choices were more comfortable for my son and didn’t rub and irritate his chubby little thighs.
Yes the designs on these are cute, that was a factor for me when I was choosing diapers. They were absorbent if he happened to sleep thru the night without a change. The reason and deciding factor of choosing to stick with huggies overnights vs these was the way the odor and the urine smell, was super pronounced and noticeable wether he was wearing or this overnight brand.
Now it could possibly be because they utilized more natural materials to make the honest diapers and the way they smelled was a minimal downside to using natural more healthy materials, but it bothered me that even if he was the tiniest bit wet with layers of clothes on, that it would smell super strong.
It made me go thru way more diapers using this brand then I do with huggies 🍼🐣.
These are the absolute best overnight diapers but also all around diapers. If your child consumes a ton of liquids throughout the day these are awesome. Here are a few suggestions: -always apply diaper rash cream/ointment for overnights.
-use these for road trips and long flights to lower the amount of diaper changes and mishaps. -the straps absolutely suck but make sure to stretch the straps prior to putting them on your cutie. -after putting them on always check the alignment and proper placement on your cutie’s bum this helps avoid leaks.
We have successfully used these diapers since our cutie was 18 months and have never looked back. I wish Honest would give them their updated straps as those are super stretchy and comfortable. These def could use the upgrade for a mobile 24 month old to toddler aged cutie.
Best of luck parents and parental figures! You’re totally rocking it at this parenting journey, you are loved and appreciated.
We usually purchase Huggie’s overnight diapers for my daughter to use at night since she is sleeping through the night now & I want to make sure she stays dry. Unfortunately, they were out of stock so I went with these.
I was actually surprised to see that cost wise they weren’t any different from our regular brand. I liked that they came with a lot of “better for you” features and felt good about putting these on my little one.
I had every intention of changing to this brand going forward, but on night one, we realized they were way too small. I’m talking barely closed and we’re super TIGHT. We didn’t want her to be uncomfortable so we just used a regular diaper that night.
I double checked the size chart, and my daughter is 10 lbs lighter than the top end of the size range so they should have fit her fine. What a bummer. On a positive note, I thought the patterns were really cute.
Cloth diapering has never been so easy! bumGenius One-Size Cloth Diapers feature our patent pending butterfly closure system to provide a comfortable, trim fit. This simple design makes cloth diapering as easy as using disposables.
The familiar design makes bumGenius one-size cloth diapers perfect for care providers who might be resistant to cloth diapering (including daycares). All bumGenius One-Size Cloth Diapers include a small, lightweight insert for newborns and a larger one-size insert for your growing baby.
When your baby outgrows the newborn insert, it works as an overnight booster or as extra absorbency for heavy wetters. The soft, waterproof outer fabric keeps the diaper trim on your newborn and toddler.
Soft, sueded inner fabric gently wicks moisture away from your baby’s skin. Super stretchy, gentle leg and back elastic with rolled out casings keeps the yuck in and help to keep red marks away. Our unique covered* slot opening keeps your baby protected from moisture.
bumGenius One-Size Cloth Diapers fit most babies from 7 to 35+ pounds. No more sorting by size or having to carry multiple diapers when going out. Three snap-downs on the front of the diaper* allow you to easily adjust the size of the diaper as your baby grows.
For newborns, fold down the insert stopper for an extra-small rise.
I went off my Bumgenius Elementals when my daughter was about 8 months as she seemed to be getting too tall and was getting more of a sock mark. To be fair, TNL warns that this may not be the nappy for the tallest babies.
Having now experimented, Thirsties Natural are now my favourite for fit and absorbency, but the Miosolo, which fits very long, renewed my appreciation of the absorbency of the Elemental. Sock mark or not, the Elemental usually does 5-6 hrs, whereas the Miosolo topped out at no more than 4.
Bubba can sweat the sock mark for now – doesn’t seem to bother her anyway. As for drying time, yes it’s long, but not as long as my shaped bamboo nappies, and long drying time anyway seems to go with high absorbency – seems predictable enough.
In high summer on the outside line I reckon on my whole nappy wash drying in an afternoon; in the winter inside on an ordinary airer, 48hrs (24-36hrs on heated airer). Early days I was just about managing with 19 nappies and rigid planning of when I did a wash, but now I have 26 (of various sorts, all long-drying) and it’s easy-peasy to keep up.
I purchased a BumGenius Freetime diaper in Hummingbird from Buy Buy Baby(purchased on 7/22/18). I just washed the diaper for the first time(washed on 7/23/18) noticed the seam integrity is weak on the front of the the diaper and it has come undone just from a delicate wash cycle.
I washed this cloth diaper with 6 other pairs of Charlie Banana diapers(which I purchased on 7/23/18), 12 microfiber inserts, 3 muslin swaddle blankets so I know there was nothing in the wash that would have caused the seam to be pulled out.
I have not used this diaper on an infant yet(baby won’t be born for 2 weeks). they were not placed in the dryer at any given point and were line dried. I’m a little disappointed with the quality as I was expecting the diaper to hold up for at least a few months once my baby is born.
I have my receipt from Buy Buy Baby and will try to exchange it there but I’m not sure if they would take it as I washed it and it is not in its original packaging. I chatted with an associate from the Mission Viejo, CA store and she let me know that they would not accept an exchange and that I would need to contact the manufacturer(BumGenius) directly for information.
I contacted BumGenius directly as well and they say that Buy Buy Baby would take it back. So I am currently stuck with a faulty diaper and 2 companies that refuse to exchange it out.
I never thought I would be a cloth diaper momma but I actually LOVED it. Especially picking out different styles. These were my “go-to”. They have the cutest styles, price on the higher end but doable/worth it, and they worked! Plus I ended up saving money lowering waste.
Cloth Diapers Gerber Baby 10pk Prefold 6 Ply Cloth Diapers 10pcs This Gerber prefold premium 6 ply cloth diaper is made of heavy, tightly twisted yarns woven to provide an exceptionally durable yet comfortable diaper.
This 100% cotton diaper has an absorbent padding in the middle for added protection. It can be used as a reusable diaper, burp cloth, lap pad, and changing pad.
First I’d like to thank the Stellar Product Testing panel for sending these to me to review. I really like Gerber’s pre- fold cloth diapers. This is an easy product for me to review because I used Gerber’s pre-fold cloth diapers with my first child.
We do not use these as diapers in our house though- we use them as a burp cloths. Our baby is constantly spitting up after each feeding and these are my go-to burp cloths. I don’t go anywhere without them! I don’t love that the company suggests that they are not to be laundered with chlorine bleach- especially if their intended use is as a diaper.
I always use chlorine bleach on our white laundry and found that to be inconvenient. I wash these using chlorine bleach anyway and they seem to be holding up just fine. My first impression of these was that they seemed thin and the fabric seemed crunchy- I was shocked after the first wash at how soft and fluffy they became.
I wish I had snapped a picture before I washed them to compare. Overall my husband and I both give these a thumbs up.
I bought these hoping that they would be the same as the diapers I used to buy in the local Target, Gemco, and Walmart stores. I have purchased Gerber Gauze heavy weight diapers for more than 35 years and they were always a all cotton 12 x 16 with double thickness heavy gauge outer panels with a center panel that was much thicker and VERY absorbent.
I use them for all kinds of household cleaning tasks as well as for detailing cars for Concours events. Loved these diapers but you just can’t find cloth diapers in the stores anymore. I reached out to customer support three times, (they failed to respond after the first time) to try to get assistance in replacement that would be the diapers that I want and was told that they don’t have anything that is heavier than the diapers I ordered which were a single ply cotton, very thin that you literally could see through.
I received this prefold diaper to try as part of the Stellar Product Testing Panel with the intent of cloth diapering my second baby, but I still haven’t gotten a chance to doing so. I have previous experience with the Gerber single layer gauze cloth diapers which I have used as burp cloths for my eldest.
Compared to those, these prefolds are much more absorbent! I prepped them through one wash cycle, and it was already super soft, could easily hold 8oz of water, and had very quick absorbency (expected from cotton compared to other types of inserts, but I was pleasantly surprised).
Until I purchase proper diaper covers, I’ve been using it to clean up wet messes by my toddler and I just love how absorbent the material is. Easy to wash and dry. I’ve also rolled up the prefolds to help position my baby that needs a little assistance when sitting up so that he doesn’t lean to one side.
It is a little bulky so we will see how it works out for actual cloth diapering!.
Product DescriptionMade of multiple layers of hemp/cotton topped with buttery soft microfleece. Care: Nappy Preparation (This is an important step. don’t skip it!!) Wash hot with detergent and tumble dry, repeating this process 56 times before first use (they will continue to gain absorbency with more washing) Washing Remove as much solid matter as possible.
Place soiled nappy in a dry nappy pail. No soaking necessary. Wash every 2 days on warm with detergent. Tumble dry low. Do NOT use bleach, enzyme cleaners or fabric softeners.
We are new to cloth diapering and have been doing a ton research, once we discovered GroVia through a trusted friend, it was game over! Their design concept is by far the most versatile out there, and trust me, I’m the nerdy accountant type that has spreadsheets comparing brands across the market for pros and cons so there is no buyers remorse in this household :).
Absolutely everything about this line is amazing! The versatility of styles (hybrids, AIO’s, ONE’s and newborns) makes it the only brand you really need. The quality of each line is fantastic, from the organic cotton AIO’s to the velvety soft lining of the fleece newborns and ONE’s is the only thing I want on baby’s bottom.
The layout of the website (makes for comparing and shopping SO easy) is far superior to competition, and the education provided upfront on the truth about cloth diapering is so helpful to newbies like us.
The customer centered approach and genuine care approach the staff has is incredible, they will do everything they can to ensure you are successful in cloth diapering. They want you to succeed and you can tell.
And these new colors and prints are just icing on the cake.
This diaper is wonderful. We have a 10lb baby and have had barely any leaks or blowouts. The fit is great and the quality is also top notch. I love the AIO option for newborns. Its an easy, no fuss option! The only drawback is the AIO takes a long time to dry (two rounds in the dryer).
I will definitely be recommending this to friends.
I have used these for two babies now and while I have liked them for the most part, I have also had some issues. I like the fit, colors, easy to use snaps, and almost everything else about them; however, I will say that the soaker does not hold very much and boosters are required to avoid leaks.
It’s possible that my kids simply pee A LOT, but this is my experience with these diapers.

I am in love with these AIOs. I don’t know what it is and I’ve used AIOs for my son from other good companies as well but these are our favorite!!! We love them so much this time around for our daughter we just purchased from Grovia and at first I got the hybrids with prefolds and inserts which were great to use during newborn, tons of poop times but now we’ve upped our AIO game and just purchased a ton of AIOs and we love them!! So easy to use and I don’t miss disposable diapers at all.
I feel like it’s the side snaps and the inside that is a game changer with these compared to others. Thank you Grovia for your genius invention!! We love them!!!!.
The fern is a really pretty earthy neutral. Our little guy looks so cute in them! They work great for daytime, especially because we do elimination communication, so there’s rarely much pee and never poo.
But as of our boy being 7. 5 months, they no longer work for nighttime. They have leaked out the sides and top, even with careful “boy positioning”. Definitely recommend for daytime use, especially if you’re doing EC.
The cloth Diaper Charlie Banana is a diaper pocket one size, made of soft high quality fabric. The convenient pocket allows you to use absorbent inserts that are washable or disposable, ensuring use is comfortable and practical in every situation.
The diapers and Charlie Banana are equipped with the new inserts microfiber Hybrid AIO: coated with an extra layer microfleece can also be used in contact with the skin of the baby, to make your diaper pocket in a diaper all in one!.
I absolutely love Charlie banana diapers. I ordered 3 of these lavender diapers specifically because the description says that they came with the standard inserts. However, once I received them, they did not come with the standard inserts.
They came with the deluxe inserts. The deluxe do not work well for my daughter and take twice as long to dry after being washed. I was very disappointed that they came with the deluxe when the description clearly states they come with the standard.
I have now spent the last 3 weeks trying to get this corrected with the customer support team but it has been a very long, complicated process. I was told I would have new inserts coming in 6-10 days but it’s now been over two weeks and I have not received them and have not heard back from them.
I have now reached out again to have it resolved but am still awaiting a response. Out of frustration, I attempted to just buy the standard inserts from the site to fix the problem but now the small inserts are no longer available.
And this isn’t the first time this has happened. This has happened to three other individual diapers I purchased as well as a box of six I purchased. All of which stated that they came with the standard inserts.
So as it is, I now have a total of 12 diapers that I’ve spend well over $200 on and I can’t even use them because they didn’t come with the inserts that they are advertised to come with. I love the diapers but without the correct inserts, they are a total waste.

Reviews From Real Customers
I bought a pack of these diapers when my son’s usual brand we use was out of stock in his size just until his regular ones could be shipped to us. ( we use Millie moon and Love them) in the meantime I tried to find a diaper company I would feel would be safe for my son to use for his sensitive skin.
After just the first night I was appalled at the low quality of these “overnight” diapers. My son was only in his nappy for 3 hours, as he wakes up to feed in the nighttime and I use it as an opportunity to get him into a fresh nappy.
He crawled over to me and I was confused as to why there was something wet on my bed his diaper had split open and all of the “absorbent” filling material had spilled out on to my bed! I cleaned him up put another one on him because it was 3 am and changed my sheets.
Another 3 hours go by and AGAIN I am woken up by a strange substance in my bed another nappy had split open and again the filling had spilt out onto my bed! This time I’m past being irritated by the low quality and am now horrified these are Such absolute trash! I put another one on him after cleaning everything up again and drove an hour away to find the correct size in Millie moon diapers, came home and threw the entire pack of these seventh generation baloney diapers in the trash bin.
I bought these diapers because they were out of my usual diapers I go with (rascal and friends training pants). And I regret purchasing these so much. We did use to use the little snugglers and they were great… but these diapers are by far the worst diapers we have ever tried.
After just one hour of my daughter wearing these she had a terrible diaper rash, which she rarely ever gets with rascal and friends since their diapers are extremely soft. Not only that but her diaper was full and soaking wet to the touch.
These diapers take maybe 2 pees until they are full. They literally feel like paper towel as well. They have a horrible scent to them which I think is what caused the rash. And they are WAY over priced for what they are.
The tabs on sides that pull apart literally rip when the baby moves. Do better huggies.
Now, here’s my honest review – I absolutely LOVE Huggies Little Movers! They are my preferred diaper for my ever growing toddler who is now in size 5 diapers. I bought a box not even noticing the design change on the box, but opened the box and immediately thought they didn’t fit like the normal “little movers” do – SNUGLY, which is why I bought them.
Ironically, my mother takes care of my son and I said something one day about them not fitting and she immediately agreed and wondered if they were mistakenly printed as a size 5 instead of a size 6.
Checked the box and the diapers, they said 5. They are loose around the legs, and something about the fit is very off, as if the waist size is off. I had my son on me today as I was online shopping after changing into a fresh new diaper, as he always likes to cuddle w/ me on my off time, and had to get up because I was WET.
I have no immediately taken every SINGLE one of the diapers out of my caddy, etc. , and they are now in a closet. My son never wets him self, or either you can say I change him regularly, but he wet himself the other day and the diaper didn’t seem wet at all.
I know you probably think I could have been putting the diaper on wrong, but I promise you I haven’t ever had this problem. Hence, why I now have isolated every Lion King printed diaper in my house and have moved onto snug and fits which are also a favorite of mine.
I really prefer Huggies over Pampers, but if this lack of quality — or lack of acknowledgement that something changed as I see in some other reviews — keeps up, I will move on to Pampers! MONEY wasted on a box of diapers and having to deal with leaking diapers.
I work hard my my $ and need you all to admit something’s off w/ these diapers. bring back the Mickey Mouse design!!!!!.
Best Bottom One Size All in One Cloth Diapers are a simple and easy way to cloth diaper your baby. The waterproof cover and absorbent interior are attached, so it functions as one unit; no need to add anything else! Best Bottom All in One Diapers fit most babies 10-40 lbs and are great for heavy wetters! Take comfort in knowing these diapers are free of the chemicals that are found in disposable diapers.
I found this particular brand (Best Bottom) to be more superior to the other ones we tried (Bum Genius and Grovia). Here’s why: 1. Least bulky with a newborn starting out. The other brands are better for larger kids since they are “fluffier.
” 2. Ease of size adjustment. The snap system for size adjustment is super easy to use. There are also YouTube tutorials and FB groups if you need help on checking the fit. 3. Superior design. The double gussets around the legs make a leak-proof fit! This means no more blow-outs! The Shell is made of polyurethane material which wipes clean easily.
The inserts snap in and out easily, so you don’t have to mess with pocket-stuffing, like with the other brands. 4. Use your 20% off coupon on this site and it’s cheaper than ordering Best Bottoms on other sites! Plus, the printed patterns are super cute! You won’t regret this purchase!.
Best bottoms have the best fit! I’ve used them for 3 children now and the double gussets hold everything in, so we’ve have very few leaks. They are workhorses and I haven’t had to replace any. I would recommend these to all parents who are considering cloth diapering because of the simplicity in their design.
Another perk is that you can use prefolds, workhorses for the brands own inserts which come in cheap, bamboo or microfiber, depending on your preference.
We love cloth diapers and this is a great system. I used to be obsessed with cloth diapers but I have calmed down a bit lol the cool thing is it saves you 2 grand a year. Per kid. Saves the earth. Better fit your children and there children.
Then if you take care of them you get quite the return of your money selling them.
Thirsties Natural One-Size Pocket Diaper is not only ultra-absorbent, but designed to fit most babies from 8 to 40 lbs. Pairing the adjustable rise with our signature leg gussets ensures messes will be contained whether your baby is tall, short, slim, or chubby.
Our handy sleeve design features openings on both sides of the diaper between the 100percent organic cotton liner and waterproof layer. These openings allow for easy insert stuffing from either side of the diaper and make for easy cleaning.
The included inserts feature three layers of serged 100percent organic cotton snapped together with five serged layers of hemp/cotton jersey, so paired with the pocket layer, that’s nine layers of absorbency! Organic cotton is a soft, fast-absorber designed to rest closest to your baby’s skin (beneath the 100percent organic cotton sleeve); hemp is a stable absorber and pairs perfectly behind the organic cotton to add more absorbency and prevent compression leaking.
I’m not sure if I’m doing something wrong or its the diapers, but I ordered 3 of these diapers and none of them hold the urine. It soaks right through!! I got them because my 6 month old soaks through every night and most naps in disposable diapers.
I even put 2 inserts in these! I’ve also tried using these as covers over the disposable diaper, but its almost worse because it soaks the whole “waterproof” part of the cloth diaper therefore spreading the moisture.
Why are they doing this?? Rather disappointed that I spent so much on them and they don’t work. I’ve used a different brand of cloth diaper in the past and they were great! What can I do different with these??.
I love the ease of these pocket diapers. They are perfect for just about anyone to put on baby without any issues. You can customize the absorbency inside depending on baby’s needs. Finally, the pocket lining is cotton which makes it easy to clean.
This was the first cloth nappy I ever tried on my child and I tried it when he was 4. 5kg. He could be too early for it, but the fit with the two attached inserts made it very awkward as it did not reach all the way to the back and we ended up having containment issues.
I’ve put it for a rest now and hope to use it again when he is a little chunkier. Overall, love it for the design but not convince by the overall usage.
Smart Bottoms Born Smart 2. 0 Dragon Cloth Diaper – Keep your baby cozy and dry with the smart bottoms Born Smart 2. 0 Cloth Diaper. It features an umbilical notch, soft lining made of organic cotton and hemp, and has a waterproof shell with a variety of snaps to fit your growing baby.
I ordered this nappy along with another brand following the recommendation given by the nappy lady to give them a try before I committed to going cloth and unfortunately I’ve been really disappointed with the performance.
I pre washed them 4 or 5 times and the first few times I used them I was getting leaks but I put this down to them still not being up to full absorbancy but now a month or so on I’m still getting leaks through to my little boys clothes after less than 2 hours.
The other brand I tried (blueberry) has been much more successful, they have separate inserts which seem to work better for the amount my little one is wetting. All in all I wouldn’t recommend this nappy if your baby is a heavy wetter and I’m very glad I only ordered two of them to try so I haven’t wasted too much money.
Firstly I was quite surprised to see that I was required to wash the nappy 8 times before it reached optimum absorbency. I would hope the manufacturers could build that into the production process. I washed mine 5 times but was keen to get started.
The first try it leaked within 45 minutes of wearing, pretty frustrating as we were about to leave the house and it required a full change. I will persevere with washing and hope the absorbency improves but for now I’m pretty deflated about my first experience of using a reusable nappy.
I bought the Smart Bottoms Dream Diaper, and this one to compare the two. I really love this one, but it loses a star for the number of pre-washes that it needs to reach full absorbency. And don’t think if you’re buying a few you can prewash them all together, you need to do it gradually with towels and things like that to absorb the oils.
Once pre-washed it’s absolutely brilliant, although I have found slightly less absorbent than the dream diaper. But the dream takes yonks to dry! I have two Bumgenius Elementals as well, which are another favourite, but these are much easier to dry because the insert isn’t attached at both ends.
I have found I prefer inserts that are attached, over ones you snap in with poppers, because it’s sometimes a faff to find the right insert. I was hesitating over buying more because they’re a big investment, but I love them so much and like the lady above seem to be ‘saving them’ as though for an emergency, so I’ve decided to top up my stash with a few more so that every change is as much of a pleasure!.
These cloth diapers are comfortable, versatile, and absorbent! Each one is made with 100percent cotton gauze, a soft material that is perfect to wear against baby’s delicate skin. Cotton gauze is a wonderfully absorbent material that may help to prevent skin irritations and diaper rashes.
This pack includes ten gauze prefold diapers. Each diaper is machine washable and dryable.
These profile diapers are incredibly versatile! We use them for cloth diapering, burp cloths, and my daughter used one as a napkin in her lap while we were learning how to use a normal cup. The absorbency is great.
I used 2 prefolds for my newborn because she’s a heavy wetter. She’s still spitting up entire bottles quite often from extreme acid reflux and these diapers have saved many of my outfits while out and about.
For reference, we started giving my oldest daughter 4 ounces of water in her big girl cup and it absorbed 2-3 cups before it would eventually get her slightly wet. They wash very well leaving no odd smells, and tough stains fade very well in the sun which is very important for cloth diapering.
Thanks to the Stellar Product Testing Panel for providing me with this prefold diaper to test in exchange for my honest review. We will continue to enjoy these for a long time to come!.
Free of chlorine processing means that the wood pulp used in the overnight diapers has not been processed with chemicals containing chlorine. This can help reduce the amount of chlorinated toxins released into the environment and help make the world a healthier place for you and your family.
Free of fragrance means that you get to decide what goes on your babys sensitive skin.
There are many pros and cons to using cloth diapers for nighttime. On one hand, they are more environmentally friendly and can be less expensive in the long run. On the other hand, they may be less absorbent than disposable diapers and can be more work to wash and care for.
Ultimately, the decision of whether or not to use cloth diapers for nighttime is a personal one and will depend on the individual family’s needs and preferences.
