It’s like marine Rain-X. It was recommended by the broker of our previous boat for use on windows. That boat had LOTS of windows. Water runs off easily, helpful when having to steer at the lower helm.
After five years, we decided to sell the boat and had a prospective buyer coming on board. I discovered that the label said (I haven’t checked it recently) that it also polishes fiberglass. I touched up the shine on the boat with Serious Shine, and it sold that day.
We have just bought a new boat. Serious Shine was the first purchase made for the boat. I am a fan.
Amazing stuff! This saved my husband from replacing a GPS for a boat. It made the screen look new again. It is easy to use and saved a lot of money. Best purchase ever! I would definitely recommend this product.

Reviews From Real Customers
I tried JetSeal and regret it! While it did apply easily and looked great, the first time it rained (which contained red dust) I had terrible water spots that will not come off the paint, windshield or windows.
The beading stopped in less than 3 months. I have washed several times with Chemical Guys Honeydew soap they claim has “Powerful hyper surfactants cut through dirt and grime, lift them from sensitive automotive paintwork with billions of scrubbing bubbles, then safely lubricate and guide them off the paint for a scratch-free wash” and ” rinse clean with no residue and even contains water softeners that help reduce hard water spots” but no luck for me.
Now I must clay bar my first brand new car ever that is only 6 months old. In my opinion their claim that “A coat of JetSeal helps repel pollution and contamination, enhance a brilliant shine, and preserve a smooth finish for up to one-year” is completely false.
JetSeal appears to have softened the paint and allowed contaminants to be embedded in it. This product is clearly no good for automobiles let alone the aerospace industry for which Chemical Guys claims they developed it for.
Best product I’ve seen for a vehicle in a long time. Chemical brothers have outdone themselves with this product. Easily applied, easily buffed in, shows a beautiful finish, removes minor scratches, makes dark paint vehicles look like new again.
I’ve had this product on my truck for two weeks now, driven from Alberta to Ontario and it looks like I applied it yesterday. I would recommend this product to anyone who has a love for their vehicles look and protection.
I’ve used numerous different products and nothing compares in my opinion. Try it out on your vehicle and become a believer. A little on the pricey side, but worth every penny. In honesty if it was cheaper we would only see beautiful vehicles driving around.
Low viscosity fluid. Translucent when wet clear when dry. 100% acrylic polymer varnish. Water soluble when wet. Good chemical and water resistance. Dry to a non-tacky hard flexible surface that is resistant to dirt retention.
Resists discoloring due to humidity heat and ultraviolet light. Depending upon substrate allows moisture to pass through. Not for use over oil paint. Protects acrylic color from harsh elements. Hard archival non-yellowing and water resistant when dry.
I don’t know what I’d do without this stuff when thinning acrylic ink. Too much water, and the ink puddles and bleeds. But with the medium, no problem. The ink can be thinned indefinitely and the effects of oil painting glaze can be achieved.
Additionally, the satin medium well matches the semi-gloss of the ink. It can itself be thinned considerably with water to lay flat and not get that thick, plastic look. Luminous effects are within reach.
Great for spot repairs! Get the benefits of 2K clear without the trouble of mixing or getting your gun dirty. Patented can has separate bladder with hardener – just press a button to activate, shake, and then spray.
2K Clear is very high chemical-, gasoline-, and weather-resistant. Great long-term lasting product. 11. 8 oz Spray. CAUTION – Respiratory Protection is required when painting. Not included.
It’s temporary at best. While it goes on well and looks great (with a properly prepped surface), when exposed to weather I haven’t seen it stay adhered for more than about 18 months. I’ve painted cars and motorcycles since the early 90’s, and I have some small jobs a couple of years ago that didn’t warrant breaking out my gun, so I bought this.
I was pretty damn happy with the results, so I ended up painting small areas of my own truck, and using this for a clearcoat. About a year and a half later, it started peeling off in sheets. The PAINT I applied didn’t, just the clear.
Matter of fact I’ve never had paint peel off. I’ve used other clearcoats that didn’t look nearly as good (or go on as easily) but on some things it’s been 20 years and the clear is still on there. Not this stuff.
That said, it was on a road-going vehicle that’s parked outside. If you used it on something like a guitar or a refrigerator I guess it would be better protected, and last longer. But the whole point of this stuff is to endure the elements.
If you want lasting results on any paint job, you have to have professional clear coat. The problem comes from needing a compressor, spray gun and then you have to buy the clear coat and hardener, then mix them together.
This takes all of that out of the equation and gives you a quick and easy solution for many different applications. No store bought clear coat comes with a hardener or is UV protection rated. You want the hardener to make it more resistant to scratches and bumps and you have to have a UV protection clear coat if you’re doing auto repair or in my case, restoring headlights and taillights.
Automotive light fixtures come with factory clear coats to prevent yellowing and fading and after time it breaks down. If you’ve ever tried to restore your lights and found them yellowing faster, it’s because you literally stripped off the clear coat that protects it.
This clear coat spends very fast and is only meant for small areas. If you don’t have enough, you will end up with a rough surface and make things look cloudy. Keep this in mind for whatever project you’re working on.
Overall, very satisfied with the results. I bought some cheap replacement light fixtures for my truck and used this to seal them because knockoff OEM parts do not come with clear coats (oneof the reasons why they’re so cheap) and this will hopefully make them last even longer.
This protective coating blocks out brake dust and all other contaminants so you don’t have to continuously clean your wheels to keep them in great shape. Poorboy’s World Wheel Sealant literally seals out contamination so your wheels are easy to clean.
Poorboy’s World Wheel Sealant can be used on any type of wheel. Poorboys Wheel Sealant is a protective sealant that improves and maintains the appearance of your wheels. It applies a clear barrier against dirt, brake dust, tar, bugs, water, and anything else that impacts your wheels.
Because these contaminants are unable to penetrate this barrier, pitting and corrosion are prevented and your wheels remain clear and shiny.
I found this sealant after I polished up the clipons (handlebars) on my bike but ofc being bare aluminium they went dull and started to show signs of corrosion in no time. That’s when I found this stuff and so far it seems to be working very well to keep all the bits shiny.
It’s still quite early days yet but I’ve peen applying it every other week or so (it’s only a small area) and it’s been working great. I’ve also just discovered that it seems to work quite nicely for bringing plastics back to their original colour (particularly matt black) – I’m hoping it’ll do the same water beading thing on that as it des on aluminium.
Oh and another thing I really like about this stuff is it smells like playdoh. I opened the pot and the smell hit me straight away. Instant blast back to childhood :).
I came across Poorboys Wheel Sealant about 5 years ago. At that time I had a 4×4 Nissan Qashqai with chunky alloy wheels. Like all alloys they were susceptible to brake dust and picking up general muck from the road.
I decided to take the alloys off the car and give them a good clean both sides removing all stains, tar and grease. Once they were clean I applied three coats of Poorboys Wheel Sealant to each wheel before refitting them.
They looked great. Within three weeks they were back to normal but when I washed the car I noticed how easily all the muck and dust came off the alloys. All I did was wash, dry and give them a rub over with a soft cloth.
I normally wash my car about once every 4-6 weeks and each time it was the same. After a year I took the wheels off again and was amazed that the backs of them came clean just as easily. Although they didn’t really need treating again I applied another couple of coats of wheel sealant and enjoyed another two years of gleaming alloys that are so easy to keep immaculate.
This is a great product, highly recommended. John F, North Yorkshire.
I’ve used a few wheel sealants over the years and this has got to be one of the best. It was tried and tested on different alloys and powder coated alloys and gave very good, fast results! Don’t let the pink colour fool you, it smells great and does a decent job of sealing the wheels from brake dust, road grime and any other nasties that decide to try and ruin the clean look of your wheels! The only gripe I have about the product is that it can be quite tricky to apply in certain areas of the wheel.
It’s mixture is a little on the soft side and if it dropped from a height you would probably lose a fair bit from the pot so I wish they would develop a sealant that is a little more harder in texture.
Overall, it is great value for money and will do the job just fine leaving a nice clean look to any wheel. It smells great and after a few coats (as the product encourages you to do) you will notice a good difference in your wheels with the added protection.
I give it a 7/10 overall and would definitely recommend as a great wheel sealant.
Por-15 Rust Preventive Coating is a high performance coating designed for application directly on rusted or seasoned metal surfaces. Por-15 Rust Preventive Coating is non-porous and seals and protects many surfaces from water, chemicals, salt, and other corrosive contaminants.
Por-15 Rust Preventive Coating is an effective anti-corrosive and rust preventive coating that offers superior chemical resistance due to its dense, cross-linked molecular composition and non-porous attributes.
The secret lies in Por-15 Rust Preventive Coating’s curing process. Most paints dry through evaporation, but Por-15 Rust Preventive Coating dries faster when moisture is present. It has the opposite chemistry of ordinary paints.
Now add to that Por-15 Rust Preventive Coating incredible hardness, toughness, and flexibility and you have a coating that is practically indestructible. Por-15 Rust Preventive Coating is great for auto restoration, and protecting valuable equipment against rust and corrosion.
I send blasted my Jeep frame with the wet sandblasting kit from Power eagle and it instantly flash rusted as it uses water along with sand to blast down to the bare metal. Rust is absolutely what I did not want right after I blast it down bare metal but as it was only flash rust after I used the cleaner and degreaser and rinsed it off I hit the entire frame with the metal prep solution and was absolutely dumbfounded.
The metal prep solution devoured The Flash rust and etched the metal back to a very light gray color. This was a huge relief because I didn’t know how I was going to proceed with the entire frame flash rusted.
Then I was ready to do my first coat. I brushed the first coat of black matte on and it took approximately four to five hours to get to the point where it was more dry than wet but khaki and yet not sticky.
Then I did the second coat in Gray so that I could tell where I had started and left off in order to make sure that I got full coverage. I spilled a little on the top of a job site box which enabled me to test its abrasion and impact resistance the next day.
Approximately 12 hours later I chiseled at it with a screwdriver (not shatp, (just normal) and no penetration down to the middle and no scuffing of the por-15. Then I beat on it lightly with a ball peen hammer and same result.
Then I hit it with hey cordless drill and wire wheel which scuffed it a little bit but not much. Definitely enough to take your skin off and draw blood. For my last test I used a 4 inch grinder with a grinding wheel and just bumping it caused very minor scuffs.
I have to really lean into it to get the grinding wheel to take any of it off. I think this is probably the best protective coating I’ve ever used. I still have to do the truck cab front clip Hood fenders and bed and I am certain that I’ll have have the same or better results there too.
Seems significantly more effective than spray-on rust encapsulator products. Finish has the look, feel, and seeming durability of a powder-coat finish. Prep is important: if applied over loose rust, then the toughness of the finish is undermined by the ease of chipping the loose rust off.
If you brush and/or sand the rust down so that it is surface rust only, then this product bonds like bonkers. It also bonds to whatever else it touches, including skin, fingernails, clothing, driveway pavement, and the lid of the can itself.
If you plan to use this across multiple projects, be aware that the product that collects in the lip of the can will bond the lid closed and you’ll have to damage the lid to get it open next time. You only get a few cracks at one can before you’ve got a product that can’t be resealed.
I used a microfiber-covered sponge for application, which worked well. You can use a paintbrush or sponge brush. You should assume that your application tool will be ruined after application. The finish looks good and seems significantly more durable than competing products.
Overall, I’m pleased with the product itself. Works very well and performs as advertised. I would have rated higher, but there were a few things that I believe could have been better. First, please produce semi-gloss in the 6 pack, same as you do gloss black.
I had to order 1 quart of semi-gloss and it is tough to use it all in one application. Had problems removing the lid to use the product a second time (2nd coat) which then damaged the lid. I wanted to apply a 3rd coat and could not due to the lid being damaged.
which ultimately caused the product that was left to dry out before I could apply the 3rd coat. If there is a way to purchase semi gloss in the 6 pack, please let me know as I need to purchase more product to complete the project.
I’m reluctant to buy another quart as about 1/2 of the quart was wasted (thrown away) as it was no longer usable.
Originally engineered for aerospace and aviation applications, 303 Aerospace Protectants has found its way into millions of homes for day-to-day use on vehicles, sports equipment, patio furniture accessories and more.
Unlike many protectants that leave greasy residues, Aerospace Protectant dries to a clear matte finish. And because it’s water-based, this protectant is safe to use on all products, from your vehicle’s paint job and leather seats to internal engine parts.
There’s a lot of power packed into this one product. A premium surface treatment, Aerospace Protectant not only protects against fading, discoloration and cracking from harmful UV rays, but repels dust and stains, too.
Simply spray on and wipe dry for a beautiful, matte finish that protects your vehicle from road grime and favorite belongings from dust and soiling. Best of all, each application will last for months.
No other protectant beautifies as intensely or preserves as powerfully. Keep UV-sensitive materials looking new, year after year. Great for use on a variety of surfaces such as vinyl, leather, plastics, synthetic and natural rubber, PVC, gel coat and fiberglass.
Ideal for Hypalon inflatable boats, wet or dry suits, tires, side-out seals, RV EDPM rubber roofing (for your safety, never walk on a wet roof), helmets, visors, and goggles. Not for use on unfinished leathers (such as suede), fabrics (canvas), flooring, clear plastics, gauge panels, or headlights.
I have always been a fan of this product for how it help to maintain plastic type products. It can renew some older materials quite nicely and helps preserve most plastic from ever looking worn. I have plastic lenses in my glasses and find it is really nice for cleaning them and makes them almost like new.
I’ve read stories of people that have soaked the soft rubber like timing belts with this and had them last quite a bit longer in use but I can’t testify to that myself. Others have soaked their new windshield wipers in this and found they too last much longer as a consequence.
The price paid here at Walmart is the best I’ve ever found so that was appealing. I have had good results with this product and have recommended it to friends for years. If you’ve any worldly worn plastics, vinyl, rubber or fiberglass this is really nice for helping them look better and protecting them from sun damage.
Professional detailers are always talking about this stuff. For a reason, it’s brilliant. For a vehicle interior it provides a lovely matt finish and brightens up the plastics. People use it in the engine bay and on exterior plastics.
Just a small amount on a sponge does the job. Don’t use too much. Impossible to find local.
Bought this because I saw a Youtuber using this to condition his rubber wiper blades. He was pouring a small amount into the new blades plastic trough (the plastic bit of the packaging) and then allowing the old blades to sit in the protectant overnight.
This (he claims) rejuvenated the rubber and gives the wipers a new lease of life. Wipers being expensive and owning 2 cars and 3 wipers on each. I decided to give this stuff a try. only used this once.
Just spray a small amount on the windscreen just above the blade. so that it soaks all along the blade and allow it to sit overnight. In the morning (hopefully it hasnt rained) you should have slightly softer more pliable blades.
Honestly I think this stuff works. If it makes my wipers last even 2x as long then its money well spent. I imagine all manner of rubber parts will benefit from this stuff. I will try to use this indefinitely.
im just not sure how long I can keep giving life to rubber wipers!.
It is a premium surf treatment that provides superior protection against harmful UV rays that cause discoloration, fading, embrittlement, cracking, chalking and/or loss of mechanical properties. Key benefits include keeping treated surfaces looking new, prevents fading and cracking, restores lost color and luster, powerful UV blockers, anti-static, repels smudges, dust, soiling and staining, matte finish with no oily residue.
Easy to use just apply and wipe clean. Safe and effective on vinyl, clear vinyl, gel-coat, fiberglass, carbon fiber, synthetic/natural rubber, plastics, and finished leather.
I’ve tried most of the competitors products, with mixed results. Some are impossibly slippery, slimy, or dull right out of the bottle. Others seem to leave a undesirable high gloss finish that makes the vehicle look cheap.
This product seems to meet all expectations, and in most cases exceeds them. The attached photos show the before and after. The first two are the grill in front of the windshield. The left is before, it looks dry and the next one is the after.
The following pictures, is of the passenger side rear view mirror. The first picture is dry the second picture is 50/50 use of the product. The last pictures show the finished mirror and a close up for a more detailed inspection.
Edit 07/19/18 – attached more pics of my new 2018 f150. The grill , from the factory, looked awful. There was some white film on the honeycomb grill. You can see the effect of the 303 on a vehicle only 3 weeks old, it’s not just for weather beaten mirrors.
The first 3 pics are before, next 4 are after 303. I’ve since used it on wipers, which proved to be awesome, and door moldings with equally agreeable results. Can make no claims on longevity, however, so far I feel it certainly has meet my expectations, A little more pricey than off-the-shelf products, but in my opinion worth the up charge.
I have used Armorall for 40 years and did not know that it had so many poor quantities until I noticed my tires turning brown and my tonneau cover graying quickly. Today was my first time using 303 protectant: it went on a lot easier than Armorall, did not streak, and covered uniformaly.
The color on the black surfaces was dark when finished. I applied to the grill chrome and it even removed old bugs easily. If you are looking for a glossy finish, then this is not for you. But knowing that it is better for surfaces than Armorall makes it a good trade off.
About DuraClear Varnishes – Brush-on, non-yellowing, polyurethane varnishes that form a tough, flexible, clear finish that dries quickly. Can be used on most hard craft surfaces, both interior and exterior.
Available in matte, ultra matte, soft touch, satin, gloss, and high gloss varnishes in both 2 oz. and 8 oz. sizes. Shake well before applying with a large, flat brush.
I LOVE the DuraClear varnishes! I use both the glossy and matte varnishes for various projects such as rock painting and painted wood crafts. Recently, I did an acrylic painting on canvas, but I wasn’t happy with the finish.
It had dried somewhat glossy and had reflections in some areas when light shined on it. I ended up sealing it with the ultra matte varnish and it totally solved the issue. I can look at the painting from any angle with no reflection.
I will be sealing all of my paintings with this varnish from now on. I’d also like to add that the DuraClear varnishes are also very durable. I’ve used them in many outdoor projects in the past and they hold up very well.
It has been extremely difficult to find an inexpensive matte varnish to use with my Sculpey that is ACTUALLY matte. If you’re looking for a TRUE polymer clay matte varnish, this is the one for you. A lot of other claim to be matte, but still have quite a bit of gloss.
But the DuraClear Ultra Matte Varnish is honestly the best matte varnish I’ve tried in years.
I did a comparison of the DuraClear Matte versus their Glossy along with just paint without any finish as a controlled sample on a baked piece of clay. I applied three layers to see if the Matte would change at all, but it didn’t! And in fact the Matte application looks exactly the same as the one that’s just paint.
It applies the same as the Glossy formula and dries streak free and actually Matte.
Originally engineered for aerospace and aviation applications, new 303 Automotive Protectant provides superior UV protection for any rubber, vinyl and plastic surfaces of your vehicle, such as your dashboard, windshield wiper blades and even your tires.
Unlike many protectants that leave greasy residues, 303 Automotive Protectant dries to a clear matte finish without that sticky, shiny slick feeling. 303 Automotive Protectant not only protects against fading, discoloration and cracking from harmful UV rays, but repels dust and stains, too.
Simply spray on and wipe dry for a beautiful, matte finish. Best of all, each application will last up to 30-45 days. Great for use on a variety of surfaces such as: vinyl, plastics, synthetic & natural rubber, leather, eisenglass, PVC, gel coat & fiberglass.
Ideal for use on your dashboard, other vinyl/leather interior surfaces of your car, tires, windshield wiper blades and more! Not for use on unfinished leathers (such as suede), fabrics (canvas) or floorings.
I used the 303 protectant spray on the cover of my smoker/grill. When my grill cover was fading and turning gray and began to show signs of cracking, I remembered the 303 spray so I ran down to AutoZone and picked up a 24oz.
bottle. The difference is amazing. My wife thought I bought a new cover (that would have been over $200 if they still made them anymore). I wish that I had taken a “before” photo. I used the 303 Protectant on the interior of my Jeep and had great results.
I also used it on the black plastic fenders. The fenders have already seen some fading so the results were good, but not as dramatic – however the Before and After photos do show the difference it made.
The 303 Protectant spray does not leave that greasy sheen and film like some other vinyl protectants. Plus, 303 is made in the U. S. A. For best results, I sprayed it on a cloth or paper towel then applied it on my fenders.
I did not want overspray on surfaces that shouldn’t receive the protectant (overspray can be noticed on concrete after the rain). 303 may be a little more expensive than some other protectants, but in the long run you will be saving money.
I’ve been covering every inch of my 24 yr old tires w/303 for years & years and they looked so good that when I took my Jeep to Discount Tires for a piece of metal in the tread the Manager, while kneeling down & inspecting, said “You got some good looking tires here.
” He only did a total turn around when he looked at the year of the paperwork. They were still absolutely gorgeous the day I bought new tires. Everything I read & everyone I talked with kept telling me that it was very dangerous to drive that old of tires so I caved in.
303 is amazing & the best product I’ve ever used on my vehicles. I am & always will be a lifer. (Even though the price has gone from under $50 when I started to almost $90. the last time I bought it) I won’t waste my money on any other brand.
My go-to protectant. Use it on the leather dash, door cards, rear deck, etc. And use it on the rubber seals. Not on the leather seats. yet. These are all interior surfaces, so can’t comment on how it weathers.
Some of these surfaces, which are textured black, were greying with some white showing in the texturing. 303 brought them back to black and, after wiping as directed, left a matte finish that isn’t sticky.
Just like new. Doesn’t seem to attract dust, as advertised. Has no odor. And is water-based. Again, my go-to protectant. Highly recommended.

I am a professional cabinetmaker. We at Copacetic Woodwork & Design have had problems with water damage to clear coated millwork. Even though we are using a two part catalyzed lacquer designed for the kitchen and bath industry.
This cherry kitchen is 12 years old and water has gone down the face and then rested on the bottom edge where it has done the damage. To remove all the parts sand and respray would be extremely expensive.
This surface was cleaned then coated with satin wipe on Poly. (No sanding) Even on more seriously damaged areas where you might want to sand (with 400 grit)I recommend applying a coat and let it cure before sanding.
That way the poly can creep into the damaged area before disturbing the existing finish.
I absolutely love this Minwax! Specifically the Wipe-on poly. There is no need to take additional steps! I bought new kitchen cupboards and they were in their natural wood state. I didn’t want to change the wood or stain it another color so I used the Minwax on it.
The outcome was gorgeous! It absorbs quickly into the wood and only accentuates the natural beauty of the wood grain without altering the appearance. I love that the cupboards are protected now and still showcasing their natural beauty.
I used cloth rags to rub it onto the wood and the process can’t be any simpler. I absolutely would recommend this whether you have DIY experience or you’re just beginning, it can’t be any simpler.
This stuff is a marvel to use. You just wipe it on with a rag and you are done. There is no need to worry about brush strokes or drips. You can re-coat in 3-4 hours. True, it is not cheap, but the finish is beautiful.
I am not sure if I am overly picky, but I ended up putting on 6 coats for a lovely finish on a walnut cabinet I just built. It is not water based, so i just ended up putting my application cloth in a ziploc bag and just pulled it out when I had to put on another coat.
Vht sp730 gloss clear caliper paint has been specifically designed for brake, drum, caliper, and rotor custom detailing. It is heat resistant to 900 degrees fahrenheit and will not chip, peel, crack, fade or rust even under extremes of operation or road and weather conditions.
Vht caliper paint is easy to apply, dries quickly and is remarkably resistant. Careful preparation is essential to insure proper adhesion and curing. Vht caliper paint is part of a multi high performance coating system.
The coating system products consist of primer, paint, and clear coat. Vht caliper paint dries to the touch in 30 minutes and completely over night. Vht caliper paint only attains its unique qualities after correct curing.
Curing occurs with normal brake operating temperatures or parts can be heated to 200 degrees fahrenheit. Complete application and curing process instructions are also printed on each can.
For some unknown reason my BMW big brake kit didn’t come with painted rear calipers so I wanted to paint the rears to match the front. Unfortunately the ambient temperature was below the recommended application temperature, but it still worked.
I sprayed 3-4 coats per caliper, allowing it to dry to the touch between coats. After the final coat I baked it for an hour at 200 degrees. This yellow doesn’t match my front calipers, but I used it as a base coat.
I figured this paint would adhere to the calipers while my color-matched paint would adhere to it. I applied 2-3 coats of Phoenix Yellow color matched paint to the painted calipers. After that dried, I baked them again.
Once the Phoenix Yellow had dried, I applied 3-4 coats of VHT clear coat and baked it. I’m very happy with the results. Not only does it look like the factory caliper paint now, but it should hold up for years.
The nozzle does spray quite a lot of paint so you do want to keep your distance. I was a bit sloppy, but since these calipers were cast aluminum anyway, it just looks like the natural texture. If you were painting a smooth surface, you would need to be more careful and pay close attention to the application instructions.

Outstanding mud and rubber deflector. Makes the cleaning-up process easier. Can be applied to the surface and left untouched or allowed to setup and buffed to a dry sheen leaving a long-lasting luster without attracting dirt and road debris.
Love this stuff, I use it on everything!! Even works great on the truck making some faded and small scratches disappear and beads water great. Shines plastic trim and rubber like no tomorrow. Keeps my bike looking fresh and helps cut down build up between every ride.
Use it on my boots and helmet. Bees seem to love it from the scent. Its magic in a can.
Transform dull, weathered tires and make them look like new with the natural, protective finish of AutoGlym Instant Tyre Dressing. Simply spray onto wet tires and wheels, and allow the polymer silicone formula to dry.
It’s a quick and easy way to protect and preserve, with an attractive high sheen or matte finish. Please note that this product leaves a slippery protective finish that is not suitable for use on motorcycle tires.
Having tried a number of other products on my tyres (mostly aerosol products) and never being 100% pleased with the results I thought I’d try this to see if it was any better. The product is a bit pricier than some of the alternatives, but the results are better, so overall it is worthwhile paying the extra.
A bit messy to use, some of the product will drip onto the wheels so this area needs covering or wiping down afterwards. The results are great though, tyres look new and have stayed that way for the past couple of weeks so I’m impressed overall.
If you’re looking for the ultimate long lasting professional tyre shine then you’ve arrived at your destination. I had tried foam, spray and brush on shines before but they are ok for a while and then fade away.
This stuff is the business, looks amazing and easy to dispense without waste. Great vale for money too. I Have a 4X4 that goes over the muddy common 4 times a day and the shine now repels water and mud from the side of the tyre wall.
Top marks for Autoglym products yet again. You get what you pay for. Don’t be tight with your car care products get autoglym and get the best look first time, every time.
Average product. Nowhere near as wet look as the Turtle Wax version which I’m used to using. More of a Matt black look. Excess spray runs white and takes some working to soak into the tyre. Will probably end up not using and buying the other brand.
Shame as all other Autoglym products are such a high standard.
Shake well. Make sure your car is cool and in the shade. Mist Quik Detailer onto one section at a time, keeping sprayer about two feet from surface. Quickly spread product with a soft, clean terry cloth towel or microfiber. Turn to a dry portion of towel and wipe dry. Return to damp portion of cloth for each initial wipe, repeat this process on each section. Don’t let product self-dry.

Reviews From Real Customers
Im not sure how its rated so highly. Used it twice now and its garbage honestly. Followed instructions after a good wash of the car i have some remaining marks from bird droppings. This claims it will remove light marks from bird droppings.
No chance on my 2020 Vw paint job. Also it is nearly impossible to dry off neatly without leaving wipe streaks and foggy spots. Overall very disappointed. Photo is after 2 uses.
For what its worth, I managed a car wash in Vegas for 5 years. From experience, this is the best detail spray for people who wash their own cars. quick tip, again for what its worth. Wash your vehicle, or run it thru a machine/touchless, what have you.
DO NOT kill your self drying!!! Get home, and let the car settle, LET it self dry, thats just FINE. now that the vehicle has been sitting for a bit, most of the water will drip from that spot that always drips out, if your not wiping the door jams, thats ok, no water leakage.
OK, if your still reading, this is where this product is amazing. Spray your car down, but yes like it says, small sections. Break it down from fender, then door, then fender, now the trunk, etc. your car will look AS GOOD AS it can.
Remeber, this isnt a paint job or scratch, or swirl remover. I no longer work at the car wash anymore, I however, wash all my own vehicles, and wouldnt do any type of wipe down, WITHOUT this product, or at least a competitors brand, but havent found one nearly as good for the price.

There are a few different ways to apply clear coat to your rims. You can use a brush, roller, or spray can. If you are using a brush or roller, you will need to apply a thin layer of clear coat and then let it dry for 24 hours.
If you are using a spray can, you will need to apply a thick layer of clear coat and then let it dry for 48 hours. After the clear coat has dried, you will need to buff it out with a soft cloth.
