There are a number of different cleansers that can be effective for glowing skin. A good cleanser will remove dirt, oil, and makeup from the skin without stripping it of its natural moisture. Many people prefer to use a gel or foaming cleanser, as these can be effective at removing excess oil without drying out the skin.
Other popular choices include milk and cream cleansers, which tend to be more hydrating. Whichever type of cleanser you choose, be sure to use it twice daily and follow up with a moisturizer to keep skin glowing.
Give your glow a boost with this powder cleanser. Gentle enough for daily use, this unique formula transforms from a powder into a creamy cleanser as soon as you add water. Papaya enzyme (papain) activates on contact to gently dissolve dead skin and give skin a softer, smoother feel.
Ascorbic acid helps illuminate dull skin for an overall glowing complexion. Daily non-abrasive exfoliator for normal to sensitive skin types. Water activated enzyme powder that transforms to a creamy foam for a smooth and gently cleansed skin with a glow.
Dispense a quarter-sized amount of powder into wet hands. Rub hands together to create a smooth paste and apple to the face. Massage into skin gently, then rinse thoroughly.
I’ve been using rice powder cleansers like this for years from different brands (especially from Tatcha). I thought this was going to be the same as them but it’s not. First of all, the price point is way better than Tatcha.
This one melts and foams up beautifully, is super effective and does what it says. Also, unlike some others, this one is gentle enough for daily use and the addition of vitamin c is a bonus. Usually daily use ones are either too mild (doesn’t wash anything off) and definitely doesn’t contain actives in it.
Also, this rinses off beautifully and truly has no scent! Oh, did I mention how soft this leaves my skin? Whether you use alone as a refreshing morning cleanser or part of your double cleanse, it’s great.
Btw, I have every type of skin depending on the area of my face including sensitive and I had no issues.
Okay, so I rarely do reviews but HAD to review this product. I’ve made it half way through my first bottle and I’m sad I’ve never used this product before. Just after my first use I saw such a brightening difference.
I first cleanse with the Hanskin pore cleansing oil then second cleanse with this and it has saved my skin. I had very textured and dull skin and now I don’t even need foundation most days because I’m that confident in my skin.
It’s a soft exfoliant that really does that job, leaving my skin smooth and glowing all on its own. I finish with ROC vitamin C gel and I’m out the door. This is a must buy for any person with textured skin !.
I have mixed feelings over this product and I’ll elaborate some more. I have combination and acne-prone skin and was looking forward to using this product. The product was travel friendly and the idea was good, but my skin did not agree with it.
I liked that when you added warm water, it foamed really nicely, but I did not like the smell. It was almost like plastic and chemicals which was definitely not the best sensorial experience. After a week or two of use, I noticed that my skin became really irritated and red (itchy).
It felt like I had a large reaction that dwindled down after some time passed. Normally, my skin does not behave like this, so I decided to remove this product from my routine and the redness was gone.
I identified this product of being the root of the cause and think that I might have a Vitamin C reaction in general. If you are looking to buy this product, look into it some more and make sure you don’t have reactions to Vitamin C.
Note that this product is definitely not a product that you should be dependent on for receiving Vitamin C because you would not receive a lot of benefits from this. Overall, it was okay, but I personally will not be purchasing again.
A luxurious, rich-foaming mousse face cleanser that leaves the skin cleansed and silky soft. The complexion is clearer, radiant and bright. The Foam Cleanser perfectly removes all impurities, such as excess sebum and dead cells.
The first brightening results are immediately visible: sallow tones are diminished and radiance increases. With consistent use, the intensity of dark spots is reduced. Skin is clean, brighter and more radiant.
· Specially produced for CHANEL, 2-Year pearl extract is derived from Akoya pearls that are carefully matured for an optimal 2-year period. The extract from these rare pearls effectively prevents protein oxidation on the skin surface for a brighter complexion with light-reflecting translucency.
It also contains a high concentration of glycine, a main component of the skin’s natural moisturising factor, which delivers optimal hydration. Luminous and moisturised, the skin reveals pearl-like radiance day after day.
I am 52 years old. This & Chanel’s toner will forever be included in my skincare regimen. I absolutely LOVE the light scent. It makes me feel so luxurious to use both of these products. At first, the price point is a bit high but in reality, you only need a pea size to wash your entire face, neck, & décolleté areas.
My skin feels so soft & has become very beautiful after only a few months but now after a year it’s even prettier.
this cleanser is fantastic!! it made my face feel smooth and perfectly clean from the first time I used it! It removes skin of dryness/dulness and really makes your skin brighter and clearer. I really love the scent of the product, it’s not super potent but you can tell it’s there.
If you can afford this product, then I was say go for it because you really haven’t got anything to loose! 5/5 stars.
Like the rest of Chanel’s Le Blanc line, the new Brightening Tri-Phase Makeup Remover contains a 2-year pearl extract to illuminate dull and yellow-toned complexions. While you’ll expect such a cleanser to transform into a smooth, silky oil upon contact with the skin, I felt that the consistency remained as a thick gel for a considerable amount of time.
Instead, the gel gradually “thins down” as you massage it into the skin for a minute or so. But even with the thicker consistency, it was easy to spread over the face, removing the same waterproof mascara, eyeliner and sheer foundation I wore in the above review.
It does not emulsify as visibly as most cleansing oils do when they’re mixed with water, but it was easy to rinse off. I did not notice a significant brightening effect with the cleanser, but it was thorough in removing my makeup.

AMAZING IN LOVE!!!! For preface, I have been using YTTP Superfood cleanser day and night for months and love it, but wanted to up my skincare game. I can say my face feels EVEN MORE CLEAN than the YTTP, especially after my clearly clean cleansing balm from Farmacy!! I love that Tata packs as many potent ingredients into each product for maximum effects and results, use beautiful and recyclable packaging and is 100% natural.
It really meets my values AND my maximalist skincare ideology so I can’t be more thrilled with this purchase. I also love that they offer refills for products to cut down on waste, al though the refills are in plastic so it’s a little green washed but still they’re making an effort and that’s more than most do!!!! 11/10 recommend i am going to try and use as much Tata as I can from here on out.

Glow baby, glow!.
I have only been using this for a couple days and have been enjoying it a lot. The color was a bit of a surprise when I opened it, bright yellow! I did some research on the product to make sure it wasn’t too good to be true or wouldn’t damage/harm my skin in anyway by looking up all the ingredients and reviews.
It’s safe to say I was impressed with what I found. The ingredients all seem great except for the fact it has such a strong fragrance to it, which can be sensitive to your skin and/or irritate it. I think it smells like an orange creamsicle.
I have been struggling with persistent acne for a few years now and nothing has helped. I got a prescription from my doctor for it nearly two months ago, since I am almost done with my second bottle of pills, but it has only helped a little bit with inflammation.
Since I started using this face wash morning and night, I can notice less redness (which was pretty bad) and my dark spots have faded slightly and skin feel smoother. It has only been about 3 or 4 days but so far, it’s pretty good.
I cannot say that it is just this face wash helping to improve the conditions of my skin, but I haven’t changed my skin care beside this and one other product. The other one makes my skin tingle a bit when I put it on.
(I am thinking it’s because I used it with the product my doctor prescribed me, which is a benzol peroxide spot treatment, and isn’t supposed to be used with salicylic acid (new product), woops!) Not any complaints so far but if that changes, I Will Be Back!.
Very nice. I often just wash my face with water in winter, but I got a breakout on my nose so I tried this. Cleared my breakout in 2 days. It doesn’t dry my face and my skin looks wonderful after using it for 2 weeks.
I also use the moisturizer in this line. I have combination skin which is oily in the summer. I’m prone to breakouts where I touch my face, at the temples especially. I live in northern Wisconsin where the winters are brutal, and cruel to exposed skin.
This face wash is a nice balance. It’s cleansing but not drying or greasy feeling, it’s exfoliating but not harsh. It clears breakouts but doesn’t leave my face feeling stripped. I’m hard to please and I’m very happy with it.
I’d been using this in the shower, so when I used it in front of a mirror it surprised me how yellow it was on my face. Looked like I was scrubbing with curry. No yellow stays after rinsing of course.
I have been using Pacifica cleansers for years. I was excited when they came out with this Glow Baby line. This, along with the exfoliating pads, caused me to have tiny, raised, itchy blisters on my forehead and cheeks.
I noticed them after I started using the Glow Baby pads and the cleanser. Went on vacation for 7 days, stopped using them, my face cleared up. When I came home I used the cleanser again, rash/blisters appeared again on my cheeks.
Test complete, verified the culprit. Since I stopped using both completely my skin looks 100% better: clear, no rash, itchiness or redness. I’m going to stick with my tried and true Rose Kombucha cleanser.
This is a cleanser every skincare lover or addict should have in their lineup. I tried this out when I went to visit my friend in Philly and my first reaction was “why does this smell crazy??”. However, when I got past the scent, I realized how nice this cleanser actually is! This also happens to be the first product from the INKEY List that I’ve tried, so to have such a positive encounter with it makes me excited to try some of their other products! It’s a great multipurpose cleanser.
It foams, but not too much, so I believe it would be suitable for any skin type. It’s great at removing makeup and makeup remnants, and with consistent use, it has done a wonderful job at brightening my hyperpigmentation and overall, evening my complexion.
I took away one star because the scent is really something different, so it may not work well for people with sensitive noses. I can’t even begin to describe the scent, but just know that it isn’t pleasant.
Other than that, it’s a great cleanser for daily use and I will definitely keep this in my rotation.
I bought a small size of this cleanser from Sephora. I wanted to see how well it worked before committing to the regular size. It’s a gel cleanser that has little beads in it, but they melt with the cleanser, so they’re not coarse.
The cleanser lathers up really well takes off all my makeup completely without stripping my skin or leaving funky residues. It makes my skin so clean. and like a deep clean. It helps to brighten my skin you can notice immediately.
It has 0. 5% Peat in it which is high in Fulvic Acid helps enhance exfoliation. It also has Aloe that is soothing to the skin Sunflower 🌻 Seed Oil which is moisturizing. There is no fragrance or perfume in it it’s very gentle on sensitive skin.
I have acne prone, combination, sensitive skin this works great on me. It’s not drying, but I would still follow up with a moisturizer. I definitely recommend this cleanser after this bottle is finished, I will be buying more.
For context, I have combination acne prone skin with a lot of hyperpigmentation. I have been using this cleanser for about 2 months now and overall I feel it is a good basic cleanser. It leaves my skin feeling clean and smooth, and I particularly like using this as the second part of my double cleansing routine.
So far, no breakouts after using which is always a good sign. It is not super hydrating but doesn’t leave my skin overly dry either. As far as the brightening claims, I am not quite sure; it could be that I need to continue to use this product to see results, though I do see a bit of a “natural” glow due to the light exfoliation which does help my skin to appear a bit brighter.
Instead, I think this cleanser makes a good start for a routine that includes other brightening and skintone evening products. Overall considering the price and amount of product you get, this cleanser is worth a try.
Strengthen & ProtectGrounded in Nature. Supported through Science. Inspired by LifePrepareGently wash away makeup and impurities with this antioxidant rich formula. Strawberry Seed Oil, hydrolyzed Wheat Protein and Tomato extracts help strengthen, firm and protect, leaving the skin hydrated, silky and luminous.
Doubles as an exfoliating mask if left for 5 minutes before rinsing.
As someone who has used a large variety of cleansers, I am honestly not super impressed with this one. I simply expected more from it, being that it’s a luxury option. On paper, this seems like a great cleanser.
The ingredients are nice, the texture is unique [think viscous jelly], the scent isn’t overwhelmingly unpleasant [reminiscent of artificial/candied strawberries – I do not really like it, but I know some others do], & it leaves my skin pretty soft.
However, I find myself never wanting to reach for it. The results are just not on the level I expected them to be. I also find this cleanser to be a bit stripping/sensitizing [I have resilient, dehydrated, combination-oily skin].
The main reason I believe this isn’t my favorite, is the fact that it doesn’t combine well with other products that actually do visibly brighten my skin. When I use this cleanser, my skin is a little sensitized.
To the point where I am not comfortable using other actives in the rest of my routine. Simply put, the “brightening” effect of this cleanser is too minute for it to be the only brightening product I use in that routine.
Using this cleanser means I cannot follow with an exfoliating toner, or serum [ie one that contains AHA’s, or Retinoids – BHA seems to be fine, being that it tends to be more clarifying]. On nights where I would like to give my skin barrier a rest, using this cleanser would defeat that purpose.
The only time I really ever reach for this cleanser, is on the rare occasion I use it for my morning routine, since I typically prefer a very gentle cleanse then. I gave this cleanser 3 stars because if you do not use the same type of brightening products that I do, or only use them rarely, you might enjoy this cleanser more.
I still honestly do not recommend it. *Please do not ever use this cleanser for eye makeup removal. This goes triple for people with sensitive eyes. Stick to using a cleansing balm/oil first, followed by a water-based cleanser [ie one like this].
I started off with the travel size and it is rare for me to re-up on a product after it empties and even rarer for me to believe in spending a lot for a cleanser, but once I completely used up the travel size I went and bought the full sized bottle because I enjoyed it so much.
I will say that I was out of the travel size for a while before I bought a replacement and that was because I was fighting myself on my love for it vs the price – my skincare routine and results were not the same without it.
I like that it’s formulated without synthetic fragrances and essential oils, it has a yummy strawberry scent and doesn’t contain anything that causes my skin irritation. It lathers up nicely and I feel as though it gets my skin clean without stripping my moisture barrier.
it’s gentle. I mix this with my gentle salicylic wash in the mornings and use it as a 3rd cleanser in the evening. I’m sure we all know that over cleansing is a (bad) thing but I do see an esthetician regularly so if it were doing more harm than good I would be advised to stop use.
However, since using it in conjunction with my salicylic wash, my skin has gotten so much more hydrated, bright, even and it really calms my breakouts down but I do believe it’s my skincare routine as a whole – this just further brought me where I want to be in my skincare journey.
It comes in a glass bottle which gives it a very sophisticated feel and although I feel like you are probably paying for the packaginggg I also remind myself that glass is easier to recycle than plastic.
They are also Leaping Bunny certified and cruelty free so. WE STAN :).
Highly recommend this. It was on my list for awhile (based on a recommendation from multiple different people) and when I ran out of my cleanser I finally bought it. It may be my favorite face wash ever, which is really saying something.
It smells kind of like jolly ranchers, very lightly. Fruity. Love it. One pump is more than enough. It’s a gel, but thicker gel and it slightly lathers. My face feels so clean after and not dry. I feel like my complexion is slightly better.
It’s the only change in my skincare and even my husband said he sees a difference (which realllly says something lol considering he has zero idea I changed face cleansers). It’s very inexpensive (IMO) for the quantity (full bottle and literally one pump is quite a bit) and the fact that it’s a glass bottle.
It feels very luxurious. Buy buy buy. I truly think it may be impossible to regret. Now I will say… if I wear makeup then I double cleanse and I use this second because I like the feel of my skin after.
If I don’t really wear Make up then I only use this. You could totally use this to take off your makeup but when I wear make up I want it alll off so I double cleanse to make sure.
The whipped texture that transforms into a sumptuous cream when blended with water. A powerful botanical antioxidant blend it helps safeguard skin against environmental aggressors while also calming irritated skin.
This concentrated foaming gel cleanser delivers a thorough and invigorating cleanse, plus a hit of AHA/BHA exfoliation, without stripping your skin of moisture or messing with its pH balance. Oh, and was it mentioned it smells fantastic? The result is clear, healthy-looking skin and a kick in your step.

Gentle enough for all skin types (even sensitive skin!), this skin cleanser is enriched with nourishing ingredients like Oat Milk, Allantoin and Niacinamide to soothe, moisturize, and promote an even-toned complexion.
I was super excited to try all three products in this line because I love the Elf cleanser in the orange tube, along with the matching toner and moisturizer. However, I noticed that my skin broke out really bad after trying the Pure Skin line.
The idea of something simple and gentle was very appealing because I follow the K-beauty, multi-step routine, which includes triple cleansing(it’s worth the time, my acne-prone skin is so clear that I don’t need any kind of base makeup anymore).
When I say “broke out”, I mean it BROKE OUT. For the first time in my 38 years in this world, I had huge, deep, cystic pimples. I don’t want to place blame squarely on the Elf products because I know that pimples, especially deep ones, actually take quite a while to develop.
I try a lot of different skincare items and the breakout happened just after it started to get oppresively hot & humid here in Detroit, so this mess could’ve been brought on by multiple contributing factors.
Because I love Elf so much and I love the list of ingredients in the Pure Skin line, I am definitely going to give it another shot. If it doesn’t work out, oh well. Not everything is going to work for everyone.
Although, I’m really happy to see that so many other people are enjoying this skincare line. Elf has the right idea with this minimalist approach. We need more skincare, makeup, etc with a short list of simple ingredients.
The old adage “less is more” keeps on ringing true.
I’ll preface this by saying I’m a newer cosmetic chemist, so I know quite a bit about ingredients and their functions (albeit, not *everything*). I purchased this cleanser because the claims were interesting, the ingredients are nice, and I wondered if the formula would perform any different than a moisturizer with its lack of more effective cleansing surfactants.
Unfortunately, it doesn’t… I tried using this product as a cleanser and I needed a second cleanse to really wash the day off my face. I also tried it as a moisturizer, and it performed similarly to some others I’ve tried.
I haven’t tried the actual moisturizer in this Pure Skin line, but I can assume it would be pretty similar. I’m also interested in the cholesterol used, because the ones I’ve come across are definitely not vegan, but they could be out there.
I’m glad this product actually works for some! But I’m very curious as to how. Regardless, not my cup of tea and not something I would necessarily recommend off the top of my head for a gentle “cleanser” to anyone.
Love the price point for these ingredients, but more-so for a moisturizer. Overall, to each their own!.
I suffered a broken skin barrier for around 6 weeks my skin was sensitive and dehydrated. Even though I have been using the good old Cicaplast b5 balm. As you know anything & everything will burn sting & make you red EVEN water with a broken barrier.
So in-between that I had the ELF Pure Skin mini range, was far to tempted tried it and it made me worse. Weeks later I tried it again same reaction. HOWEVER on the 3rd attempt clearly at this point “currently” my skin has obviously built back up somewhat of a lipid barrier thanks to Cica plus Urea.
Which then enabled me to tolerate this Pure Skin Range and I have to say it’s REALLY HELPING & I enjoy the textures. My skin is calmer, less red almost giving me a brighter slightly whiter evend out smoothed complexion.
The only thing I would say is use the toner with a bit of caution if you are using retinoids, Differin Adapelene, Tretinoin, Retinol OR have a compromised skin barrier of sorts because it does contain Glycolic acid & Witch hazel.
Albeit small amounts of course I do think it has the potential to be problematic for some. I’m just about to order all 3 of these in the bigger sizes and would HIGHLY RECOMMEND anyone to at least give the Mini traveling kit a try.
Facial cleansing with manuka honey and turmericThe Golden Cleanser is a gentle and soothing facial cleanser from Keys Soulcare. It cleans the skin and gently removes dirt, make-up and impurities. The facial cleanser relies on the power of Manuka honey from New Zealand with a high proportion of antioxidants; it is combined with soothing turmeric and calming chamomile.
I received a free deluxe sample of the Keys SoulCare Golden Cleanser from SoPost. I’ve been using it for a few weeks now and overall, it’s a decent cleanser,… It is marketed as a soothing facial pore cleanser that gently removes dirt, makeup, and impurities with Manuka honey, turmeric, and chamomile.
In my experience, it lathers nicely and leaves my face clean (without making my skin feel like it was stripped of moisture). I didn’t experience any irritation or breakouts after using this product, and it works well as a second cleanse if you use the double cleansing method.
But with that being said,… It has an EXTREMELY strong herbal scent that I’m not fond of. And I do feel that the entire brand is overrated and a little ridiculous in its gimmicks. I mean, these are some of the product claims for this Golden cleanser: “Provides the clarity and power to turn everything in your life into gold” ….
“Soothes, calms, and encourages stillness” …. Seriously? This face wash is going to encourage me to be still and make me King Midas?? How exactly is it going to do that? LOL I’m not sure what Alicia Keys has been drinking, but I do not subscribe to the idea that a facial cleanser can have such effects on my life and I would prefer the marketing stick to the actual facts of what the product is formulated to do.
Genuinely confused by the good reviews and wondering if mine had been sitting out in the heat in a truck too long. But I can only review what arrived. Fragrance in the bottle I received was insanely faux / intense.
Nothing about this aligned with Alicia’s personal branding. I do not remotely believe she would put this product on her face with that much cough-inducing fragrance. I was really disappointed, feels like a money grab and that she didn’t even try the products before signing off.
But she prides herself on not wearing makeup, and this claims to remove, but just moves it around. Also, must of left a residue because I went back over with my regular makeup removed and IT BURNED MY EYES TO A LOVELY DARK RED.
I threw it in the trash. I suggest getting a whiff in store before buying. Won’t be trying anything else from the line, because I just do not believe she was remotely involved, just slapped a few “clean beauty” key ingredients in the lab’s existing blend.
I received this cleanser #freeproduct through Topbox Circle #tryitwithtopbox. I used this as a second cleanser after I remove my makeup with the Keys Soulcare Nourishing Cleansing Balm with Shea Butter + Bamboo Charcoal.
This is a nice gentle cleanser that does not strip my skin or make it dry. This is also gentle around my eye region and does not burn my eyes. I also like the sleek glass packaging with a pump. I prefer to have cleansers to have a pump.
There is a light fragrance but it isn’t overpowering. I like how the brand showcases its use of natural and clean ingredients, such as turmeric, manuka honey and chamomile. My favourite thing about this brand is that includes inspiration/motivational sayings on its packaging.
I would recommend this for all my dry skin people out there.
Harry’s Men’s Face Wash combines what’s good about a face cleanser and what’s good about a face scrub. Perlite, a mineral naturally made from volcanic rock, gently exfoliates skin, to help remove impurities like dirt, oil, and dead skin cells, while refreshing peppermint and eucalyptus leave your face feeling cool and clean after washing.
Formulated to provide a deep clean, this daily face wash is suitable for everyday cleansing, whether you wash day or night. Plus, the minty cool wakes up your skin and reminds you that your face wash is working.
I know face “scrubs” have been knocked down for their skin-stripping effect but this is different! not only is this facial scrub an AMAZING cleanser but it does not strip the skin or cause any can breakouts.
I am a teenage girl who has struggled with acne forever, this wash is the perfect exfoliation after a long day in a mask or even after sweating or working out or for a good pick me up considering the minty feel which is also a plus.
This product is great for acne strugglers like me! keep making this plz.
Okay, so this is the first face wash I’ve tried, but I really like it. It has a very pleasant minty scent, and you can feel the mint in it soothing your skin, as you use it. You can also feel the exfoliating ingredient as you massage it into your skin.
You’ll need to clean your wash hand basin very well after, to get rid of all the little exfoliant particles which you can feel but can’t see.
It definitely is a gentle exfoliate. If you are looking for something with more texture, this isn’t it. I appreciate that it is gentle enough for sensitive skin like mine. The scent is peppermint but isn’t noticeable.
Perhaps that’s a good thing. I am a fan of Harry products.
Before I took the time to write a review, I wanted to have genuinely used the product. I purchased this product for the first time in April of 2022, so I can honestly say this ginger oil cleanser is amazing! I have EXTREMELY sensitive skin, so just putting anything on my face doesn’t happen.
I had not really entertained the idea of using a oil cleanser before. I thought it would just add to the issue I already have with oily skin…I was totally wrong. After reading about the cleaning regime the company suggested I took a chance, and I am so glad I did! It removed every bit of makeup off my face.
I didn’t have to rub so hard on my eyes to get my waterproof mascara off or eyeliners. It even took my sunscreen off, without leaving that feeling on your face that tells you. you need to rewash it. My face felt great just after that first step, lol.
I wear contacts and at one point after wiping my eyes I opened them to make sure I got everywhere. Wasn’t thinking at the time, nor that I would recommend opening them while cleaning, I don’t truly know if its okay.
I say that only because, I was surprised to find out that it didn’t sting/burn my eyes, or even cause a film. In all, I loved the feeling of my face and how simple; yet effortless it was to remove my makeup.
I’m so happy there’s a NEW oil cleanser makeup remover! Let me tell u why it’s AMAZING: – doesn’t leave a film in ur eyes when removing eye make up! Even when u HAVE TO open ur eyes mid-cleansing, you’ll still see clearly! – it’s NOT JUST OIL, it doesn’t have an oily consistency , it has more like a gel or essence texture.
– removed my make super quickly! However, I would say with eye makeup that’s waterproof, you’ll have to take more time. +but guess what? I went over my eye makeup the second time even when my face was already wet from rinsing off the product, and the product still worked even when applied on wet skin.
On the second wash on my eyes, my eye makeup AND EYELASH GLUE was completely off! – I experienced NO IRRITATION in my eye or anywhere on my skin I have spent $50 on an oil cleanser before and this is WAY BETTER! I just love that the consistency is like an essence or a water-gel, or a serum, I feel like an oil is TOO THIN and I find it running down my arm / through my fingers(there goes the product.
) since it’s a SLIGHTLY thicker consistency, you’ll find urself using LESS PRODUCT! Woohoo! Anyways, I predict that this product will be flying off the shelves.
I was really excited to use this and it let me down. First off let me explain I was only wearing La roche Posey Tinted Sunscreen, NARS Powder Blush, Essence Powder Highlighter, Benefit Mascara (NOT waterproof), and ABH Brow Gel.
The moment I put it on my face I knew it wasn’t going to do well picking up makeup. I used 2-3pumps (I feel that was a fair amount) Then I followed up with their gel cleanser. At that point I STILL felt there was residue.
After that I applied the toner, still getting something. Followed up with essence. After using the essence, I could still see black fibers on the cotton pad. At that point I began contemplating if I should return the produces or keep them.
After all, I snagged a few products during their 5x points promo and it was my Bday month so there is close to 3k of point on the line. Either way, I was influenced and will be posting for people who are in between and want to know cons/truth before dropping $40+ on a “cleansing oil” that DOES NOT cleanse lol.
Origins Plantsciption Anti-Aging Cleanser is a delicious, luxurious anti-age cleanser that can be used for all skin types. This gentle foaming cleanser with jasmine flower and softening wheat protein helps to dissolve dirt, impurities and release dead skin cells.
In addition, the formula also contains aloe vera which is soothing. Your skin is left radiant, soft and with new life. With this cleanser you get the skin cleansed completely so that it is ready for your subsequent skin care.
Green Plum Refreshing Cleanser is a low pH facial cleanser infused with naturally-derived herbal ingredients to hydrate and refresh skin. The Plum water and Mung Bean Seed Extract thoroughly remove dead skin cells and sebum while revitalizing skin.
The hypoallergenic, mildly acidic formula helps to maintain the oil-water balance while boosting skin health. The lightweight, moisturizing gel formula provides refreshing cleanses without stripping skin of moisture.
This is surprisingly so good. I have normal/dry skin with oily T-zone, that normally feels so tight after any kind of cleanser. You only need a tiny, tiny amount of the light green gel to cleanse the face.
It doesn’t foam up much which means the surfactants are not going to strip much of the helpful oils that the skin needs. It doesn’t leave any odd grippy residue-like feeling (unlike the Rovectin essential conditioning cleanser, which does).
Youtuber Aliceintherabbithole highly recommended this, and I’m glad I followed her advice!.
I was using the Haru Haru one before this, I liked that one as a gentle and even hydrating cleanser but I don’t like the lid being a screw off and wanted to try something else. I think this one is better for combo skin, feels cleaner though less hydrating.
I enjoy the scent I lot for this one and the lid is easier. It also doesn’t leave the feeling like you have a layer of something on your skin. so far it’s probably my favorite gentle cleanser.
This is a pretty good gel cleanser. The thing I love about it is that it definitely cleanses/cleans your face but it doesn’t leave it feeling dry like some foam/gel cleansers do so that indicates it’s got a neutral pH level! Just like the name suggests it surprisingly somehow does make your skin feel ‘refreshed’.
Honestly, at this point I think you can never go wrong with Beauty of Joseon products, they just really know what they’re doing!! <3.
Supernatural Ingredients meet Korean Beauty Science What It Is: Gentle, deep-cleansing wash specially formulated to dissolve and remove all traces of dirt, oil, and air pollution. Everyday pollutants like cigarette smoke, exhaust fumes, and metal emissions generate free radicals on the surface of the skin which can lead to sensitivity, dullness, and uneven texture.
Daily Detox Oil to Foam Cleanser flushes skin of 93. 3percent of fine dust particles that collect in pores, while protecting and conditioning skin. Infused with naturally antioxidant-rich ingredients like Olive Oil and Chinaberry Extract to neutralize free radicals.
Vitamin B5 hydrates and smoothes skin to leave it feeling soft and supple. How To Use: Wet skin and massage on face until the oil cleanser turns into a soft foam and rinse thoroughly. Use daily, morning and night.
Follow with toner, serum, and cream for best results.
I bought flow chemistry along with the daily detox cleanser, moisture balls & the restoration moisturizer (after using the samples sent with my period supplies) & I am blown away. I have nice but sensitive skin, I deal with ugly redness & moderate dryness from diabetes.
I saw & felt an immediate difference upon using the samples. I start off with the cleanser, then the glow serum & finish it off with the beautiful restoration moisturizer. I intend to use the moisture balls once a week, I already tried it & just WOW.
Speechless. This company has changed my life. My face is so pretty & the glow is unreal; my husband even comments on it. I will forever be a loyal customer. I just got my full size facial products a couple of days ago and I’m already back to buy more (so I NEVER run out!) Lol.
Also, my period has become shorter & less painful thanks to Rael. Every. Single. Thing. They sell is amazing. Packaging is so cute & I feel as if everything is very affordable. You get a really good amount of product for the price point.
I used to use Lancôme. never again. Goodbye overpriced, nasty chemical using companies! (I would love to tell all my friends about this company, but I want to keep Rael all to myself!).
Application-wise, this feels much more like a normal “soap”y cleanser than an oil cleanser. It lathers very well and has a light scent (to me it smells faintly like rice/barley and something herbal).
It feels gentle and doesn’t leave residue after rinsing. I think it’s a good product, and though it hasn’t noticeably improved my skin, it also hasn’t irritated it. My only issue is. I like the aesthetics and simplicity of Rael’s products’ designs a lot but functionally there’s room for improvement haha.
The pump on this always gives me more than I need, and the spring tension make it difficult to do half-pumps. Not a deal-breaker, but a product shouldn’t make your life harder.
I was so surprised by this product. I am used to the lather of suds, so I was hesitant initially as this is a cleansing oil. It is AMAZING. It protects my skin barrier which is critical for a supple complexion while also cleanses deeply.
My skin has never radiated better. This is my new face wash. So pleased! And best part- it’s CLEAN.
