Best Christmas Movies Amazon Prime (2024 Updated)

Ordered this set month ago, but waited till closer to Christmas to watch. Wish I had checked it out as soon as I received it because it’s defective. The DVD of The Case for Christmas/National Tree has a huge scratch and so the Case for Christmas you only get about 2 minutes of movie, but you get almost all of the National Tree.

I’ve ordered lots of movies in the past and never had an issue with any until this set. If I order from this company again I’ll check it out asap so I’m not stuck with a bad product.

I seem to have started a Christmas movie collection. As I was looking at Walmart online I found a bunch that I did not have. This collection is just a really nice family feel good set of Christmas movies.

For the price you can’t go wrong – even if you only watch it once a year! I purchased this 4 pack set because of the movie Trading Christmas, it was a movie that I started watching on cable but had to leave half way through.

The four pack was a better price than just purchasing the single movie (on another site). The other 3 films in the set are not bad either. They are all the family feel good type.

This DVD does NOT have closed captions/Subtitles as advertised. Although Walmart was notified of this several months ago, it has never been changed in the item description. What a shame for the deaf/hearing impaired!! I have received two of these DVDs without cc/sdh as advertised, and both were Cinedigm/Gaiam studio.

Beware those names!.

Really good movie lovely actress in this movie have other movies with her hallmark movies. Really enjoyed would watch it again and again! Highly recommend!

A charming movie that is good for a quiet day at home. Loved this one! A good holiday escape movie and pleasant. I wish it was on blu-ray.

I had already seen and loved the movie, Last Christmas. It’s highly romantic, yet with a surprise ending. Emma Thompson wrote a fantastic script set against the lyrics of the late George Michael song, “Last Christmas.

” She, Emilia Clarke and Henry Golding were superb! What a treat, one I can revisit each holiday season, now that I own the movie!.

I went and saw this movie when it was playing at the theater and had decided that as soon as it came out on DVD that I would definitely buy it. Glad I did The two main characters are simply terrific.

Although I always know what will happen next in the movie, I still enjoy watching it. I won’t go into detail about the movie so as to not spoil it for those who haven’t seen it. But I will say, it has alot of twists and turns in it that it keeps you going, not really knowing what will happen next.

A nice romantic comedy to say the least.

Loved, loved, loved it! I was impressed with the details from the brooch Santa wore in the first scene she was in to the cameo appearance of “someone special” at the Christmas show. The extras with Paul Feig were also entertaining.

Loved my George Michael. Thanks for the genius songwriting.

This Christmas movie is a variation of so many traditional movie themes around the holidays in terms of what would have happened if. William Shatner, AKA Captain Kirk , now is the “angel” like figure who instead of being the Captain of a starship, drives a horse carriage.

A nice blend of romance and common sense wrapped in the Aurora Borealis effect of time travel. All roads lead back to where you started. Nice touch with the horses and carriage showing up at the end of the movie and kudos for actually having an ending rather than just having the camera float up to the heavens above.

Her boyfriend wants to marry her but she gets an offer to get a professor at a very good university with tenure. She is torn between both offers and she meets a carriage driver and after seeing the aurora borealis, she is transformed to 3 years later.

When she sees the carriage driver and aurora borealis again, she is transformed back to 3 years earlier. She must try to sort things out. FInd out if she does.

This is as heartrending a movie as you will ever see with the most emotionally powerful theme song that I have ever heard. Both the movie and the song choke me up every time I see it or hear it. A wonderful family movie that can be watched anytime of the year, not just at Christmas.

The story that it teaches is timeless–cherish what really matters because you don’t know how long you will have it. The acting by all involved is superb. Buy this movie; watch it over and over again periodically; and live the lesson that it brings to your family.

This story is a great reminder in that you don’t need a lot of money or a bigger house to be happy in life. Being content with what we have been given and making the best of situations will yield a joyful life.

It probably will bring tears to your eyes in certain scenes, but that is alright because of the great message it has for its viewers. Enjoy.

I love this movie! Great story about the true meaning of Christmas! It’s about a boy who’s mother is dieing and he wants to buy her these shoes. He doesn’t have enough money and a man standing in line behind him helps him pay for the shoes.

This man learns a lesson about enjoying your family while they are here and money is not the most important thing in the world. It’s helping others and thinking about others and not yourself all the time.

Kristen Chenowith, Scott Wolf and Kevin Quinn (as well as Keith Robinson) are brilliant in this movie. I just finished watching it again today – March 22, with my dog wondering why tears were dripping off my chin (tears in a good way ;).

WHITE CHRISTMAS has always been and will always be a family staple, and other Christmas movies may come and go, but A CHRISTMAS LOVE STORY is now one of my must watch shows. even in the Spring (ok, honestly – I watch Christmas movies year round – and this one is a GREAT one!!!).

If you love Hallmark’s Christmas stories, this one needs to be in your collection. Beautifully shot, written and acted, it’s not what you think. I do not want to give anything away, but the classic couple love story has a lovely twist.

I have watched this movie 4 times on the Hallmark Channel with my husband and I have cried (tears of joy) each time. I kept telling everyone about it. Then I decided I would own it and share with whosoever.

It is so uplifting and encouraging even when it is not Christmas.

This movie is the best ever. James Brolin is as handsome as ever and does a fantastic acting job in this movie! The little girl Gracie is so adorable, so entertaining, and so intelligent. She will warm your heart and you will just love her.

Nose, the K-9 dog is so cute and also very entertaining. He is also very funny in some parts of the movie. I could watch this movie over and over again it is so entertaining. The best cast ever!!!.

it’s been years since we’ve watched this movie on the Hallmark channel. Since it’s an older movie, perhaps that’s why it’s not shown often enough. It’s a wonderful story of family and togetherness for Christmas.

A struggling single mother and three children – one who was left behind by his father. It’s sad and uplifting at the same time. Townspeople come to help her in many ways. A beautiful story for the season.

A wonderful, heartwarming, movie Starring Beloved Jimmy Durante’. Entertaining and funny. A family who is down on their luck, penniless, who’s father of the family turns a surprising windfall of money sent at Christmas time, turns life around for not only his family but with such a generous heart and positive spirit, is able to help many of the town’s businesses.

How he does it and how the sudden windfall of money comes so unexpectedly? You will have to see the movie of how everything unfolds. It’s a wonderful story with a great message. A must see!.

DVD came quickly and in mint condition. I liked the characters and the story. very relatable. single mom facing challenges. seeking shelter and a better opportunity for her family at Christmastime.

This is a great holiday movie with John Denver, a widower, who takes his daughter away from New York during Christmas since this would be the first Christmas without his wife. The company he works for wants him to scope out the area while he’s there and look for land for a large ski resort.

However, he quickly learns that this small community should not be altered, he falls in love and fights the company to keep away. It is really a must see any time of the year.

This is the movie that should be watched every Christmas. It’s a soppy sweet story with the cutest little girl you ever saw. Plot of bad “big business” versus good, kind man. Great story line of a town that celebrates Santa like no other.

Enjoy this movie that takes place in Rome. I went to Rome in 2019 and its neat to see the sights I saw there in the movie. Vatican, collseum, trevi fountain and Spanish steps. Beautiful scenery and good storyline and actors.

While this is a typical Hallmark movie it offers some wonderful scenery and give us some perspective of how cultures differ from ours. I enjoyed watching the “happily ever after” develop while minds were changed to embrace a different set of priorities.

Love the chemistry between these actors.

This is for a gift for my sister. It’s her favorite Christmas movie. I have watched this on the hallmark channel and it is very good!

Enjoyed the movie when I watched it on TV. Watch the movie when I want to feel relaxed and have a mood of seeing a warm and loving movie. *Just a thought for Hallmark, I miss seeing the morning show.

I, as a retired English teacher, get frustrated when the actors use incorrect English. I notice several times that the actors use I incorrect. I in the subject and me in the predicate. As an example : Susan went with me.

It would never be – Susan went with I. However, that is the English used in the movies. Since youth watch the movies, it would be good to use correct English so that they will use correct English.

This movie brings warmth to the Christmas holiday! The movie is really enjoyable to watch at any time of the year because it highlights how important our relationships are with other people. It shows a community working together in appreciation for everyone that lives in the town or is visiting.

It truly embraces the good in others and how much better life is when we help each other.

One of my all time favorite Christmas movies. I love the time period this is set in, can relate to that one perfect Christmas present wish, how to plant the seeds that will get me that gift in my parents minds, the entire kid-social-interactions that play out throughout the movie, the traditional husband\wife\kids interactions.

I also enjoy the regular voice over the movie has. so much fun! My second favorite movie of this nature is the Sandlot. Both are excellent, uplifting, family movies toddlers to senior citizens wil enjoy.

This wont be a waste of money. Oh, and if you are worried about the dvd picture quality that others complain about. dont. It plays fine. It is not blu-ray quality. but I personally think the good quality but not perfect quality of the video actually lends itself to me enjoying the movie watching experience MORE due to the time period this was set in.

The con was this: The product said actress Melinda Dillion was also supposed to be part of the commentary part of the special features. She was not in the commentary track nor anywhere else on the DVD features beyond being in the movie.

I consider the label of her in the commentary as false advertising or sloppy work of people putting this DVD and features together.

I grew up watching this movie every year with my family. Watching this movie was part of our family Christmas tradition! 🙂 I think my late stepfather loved it more than us kids when we were growing up! He couldn’t wait for the 24 hours of a Christmas story that would come on TV every year on Christmas eve.

After I married & moved away from home, he would call every Christmas eve to make sure I knew that 24 hrs. of a Christmas story was coming on! This is a great family movie. No violence, or rude jokes like new movies/shows today.

I own the DVD of this movie on a DVD-but the Blu-ray is Fantastic !!-A 1954 film looks like it was made yesterday. The color shows even the blue in everyone’s eyes–especially Bing’s. The sound with the 5.

1 DTS will blow you away. And the songs-including “White Christmas”- one of the best Christmas movies ever made !! Buy it on Ebay-you won’t be sorry – frankjann 2012.

This is my wife’s favorite Christmas movie. Although it still isn’t my absolute favorite Christmas movie, after watching this movie over and over each Christmas, it is now amongst my top 5 Christmas movies.

Bing Crosby, Danny Kaye and Rosemary Clooney are the leads in a great cast of actors. The singing and dancing numbers are without peer. If nothing else you should watch this movie to watch Bing and Danny do a female impersonation of the two sisters singing act, which gives the sisters time to escape their creditors.

The Blu-ray version adds to the already spectacular color the original movie possessed.

I love the old hollywood musicals, and White Christmas is one of the great ones. It features excellent dancing and classic songs by the great Irving Berlin. It’s bit of a remake of Holiday Inn, which also starred Bing Crosby.

The blu ray looks fantastic. The story is timeless, and features the song White Christmas among many others you’ll know and love. The performances are excellent all around and the color just pops. If you’ve never seen this, get the blu ray! It’s the best looking you’ll ever see this film!.

Found this film very good liked the characters excellent. The story line entertaining and sailed along with out being boring very entertaining through the whole picture.

Great Hallmark Christmas Movie! Great storyline! Great Actors!

I love Hallmark Christmas Movies. Brennan Elliot is one of my favorite actor in these Christmas Movies.

This movie has several stories, each with its own twist. I look forward to Hallmark movies with at least one new song that fulfills my heart and soul to give to my friends, family and neighbors. Fortunately, this movie has several songs that can be treasured for years to come.

The characters are engaging, it’s really entertaining,,,it’s Christmas eve so let us have a sing song. You will love it. The Dvd is great value.

This movie was heartwarming as all Hallmark movies are. My daughter wanted this particular one because of the actors who played in it. She has watched it several times even out of the Christmas season.

But then again, is Christmas ever out of season?!.

I’m not sure if this is a review of the movie or just the quality of the packaging, I really like both this movie is incredibly funny and heartfelt. The price of the product and the fast shipping was a plus.

The most wonderful time of the year, it stars Fonzie, so right there it is great. Lots of good witty lines. Love him in this. The other actors are awesome as well. I missed this on TV this year so I was glad I owned a copy so I don’t have to see the only showing airing at 4am on hallmark.

I didn’t even see Annise Claus on TV this year. The actors are great in this one as well. We’ll they are great in all the movies. It is nice to see a different “santa” character, Annie claus. And a fun story line.

A holiday engagement is a bit reminiscent of the debra messing film “the wedding date” I think it was called. We’re she hires a guy to be her date to the wedding. But this is a story all of its own and very different, but still has the humor.

I don’t remember a Christmas kiss but it is hallmark, so it is good. They all are. This might be the one were he kisses the stranger on the elevator while she is in costume, she ends up working with him but he doesn’t know it was her he kissed.

I bought this for Christmas Kissa fabulous holiday movie. I then fell in love with The Most Wonderful Time of the Year. Well worth the cost.
