20 Best Christmas Gifts For Dogs (2023 Updated)

I could not get my Maltese/Yorkie mix to eat anything. I think I tried every brand and flavor out there. My other dog Payton would pretty much eat anything except beef flavored food and treats. I bought Purina Pro Plan shedded lamb and brown rice.

Maddie still wasn’t quite satisfied, so I ordered Stella & Chewy’s lamb liver freeze dried raw dog treats. I put a few pieces in a colander wet them then cut some up and put it on the bottom of their bowls then add the dry food, I cut up a little more of freeze dried liver and put on top.

She goes crazy over this I have to tell her to slow down. Payton loves it too. Thank Chewy for resolving this 6+ month nightmare with Maddie.

This is my second time ordering this freeze dried beef heart treat. I order a lot of Stella and chewy products but this one by far was the worst. Half the pack was only chunks of fat! I found out when i squished it.

And it was soft like butter. Chunks of white greasy fat! I figured a little on some are ok but he had already ate like 20% off the bag and realized pretty much the rest of the pack was just squishy white clumps of fat.

Won’t be purchasing this one anymore. Feels like it was scraps that they put in here and called it treats.

My 2 little 13-lb terrier mixes love these Stella and Chewy’s chicken hearts. The problem is that they only like certain pieces, the pieces that are odd looking with stuff hanging, not the perfect looking little hearts.

I always fill the bowl with the entire bag, and when they are done, what’s remaining in the bowl are the perfect little hearts. They pick them out what they want. I have been ordering them online, and most bags arrived filled with perfect little hearts.

I need to start buying them at the store, and pick out the ugly ones for my girls. Luckily, the rescue where one of my girls came from doesn’t mind taking her leftover treats. I send them a box of these leftover treats and other leftover treats.

The stocking was beautiful and well made. It looks just like a black and tan dachshund! Nice size. Will hold a variety of treats for my dog. So good looking, I think I will leave it out all year!!!

They’re really cute but bought these as birthday gifts for family & friends in late summer! I’m sure they’ll love them as they are adorable!! 😊

I love this stocking, it’s so cute, soft, and the quality overall is great. We love to spoil our dog and this is the perfect way to include her in the holiday celebrations.

These Greenies dental dog treats are my Chihuahua’s favorite. I have been giving her this brand since she was just a puppy and she took to it immediacy, never had a problem with her not wanting to eat it.

Having tried several of the Greenis line of treats, this one seems to be the one she likes to eat the most. I also prefer this variety over the others as well. I personally prefer the bag greenies over the box greenies because the bag is easier to open and close and keeps the treats fresh.

Every morning she is by the pantry patiently waiting for her greenie treat. When I give it to her, she gives me her paw, takes the treat, and runs away with it to our bedroom. The whole thing is gone within a matter of minutes, there never is any waste with this one.

During the 8-year period of giving these to her, not once has she ever gotten ill or vomited from them. For an 8-year-old Chihuahua she has great teeth and gums and I contribute that to the Greenies.

I do brush her teeth and use a dental spray but this treat is what makes her teeth stay healthy. We have never had a problem with any of her dental checkups and she always gets an A+ bill of health. These treats are very tiny which is perfect for smaller dogs.

They do a great job keeping her teeth and gums cleaned also, she does not have bad breath. Her breath has never been an issue and that is because her teeth are in great shape. Brushing and dental cleanings have also helped throughout the years but, this treat has been the best in-between maintenance.

My vet has a store attached to his practice and keeps Greenies stocked on a regular basis. I prefer to purchase my bags from Amazon, you just can’t beat the price. It’s never too late to start with these treats.

A dog can be a puppy or an adult and these treats will help reduce tarter buildup. I will continue to purchase these Greenies because I know it works for her. I would recommend this brand to any dog owner that is interested in purchasing this item.

I know dental care is important for my dogs (two bad Corgis). Once they grew in all their adult teeth I went on a quest to find the perfect dental chew to supplement the occasional brushing. I started where most of us would start – the cheapest chews I could find.

Over the next year I tried them all. Some my dogs liked, but I would notice their teeth weren’t being cleaned or their breath stunk more than normal. Others they wouldn’t touch. Finally, after working my way up the ladder of dog dental chews I got to Greeneis and have not gone back since.

They have been using Greenies now for close to two years (Dogs are now 3 and 4). Sure, they still have dog breath but it’s not foul like it was with those other dental chews. I also notice very minimal plaque on their teeth, which I keep tabs on regularly.

What sealed the deal was when I took them to the vet for a check up the first year they had been getting their Greenies and the vet remarked how excellent their teeth looked. I told her I seldom brushed their teeth anymore but gave them a Greenie each morning, which she nodded in approval.

The cons? It’s expensive compared to other dental chews, but I can’t put a price on my dogs. These are the only ones that seemed to work that they like. I’ve also noticed some supply issues lately where it can be a pain to find them in the regular size.

But most importantly, my dogs love their Greenies. Every morning after their go outside they know it’s Greenie time. They walk over to the pantry and keep their eyes focused on it. Once I open it up and grab the bag they start tippy-tapping in excitement and each take a Greenie to their doggie beds and chew it up!.

The greenies product is excellent. My dog gets one a day, and looks forward to her treat. This was the first time I ordered online versus purchasing it in the store I always check expiration dates. The first box that arrived in mid February 20 22, had an expiration date of mid April 2022.

As this is a 3+month supply, 96 teenie Greenies, having it expire 60 days in would not be good. I contacted customer service, which very kindly had me send it back to be replaced with a new box. Box No.

2 had the exact same mid April expiration date. I called customer service again and I explained why that expiration date was unsatisfactory. The agent promised they would send one from a store, where the date would be checked.

I said marvelous. Box No. 3 arrived from a store, not the warehouse, with an expiration date of February 6, 2022!! Now remember this was with a sales person checking the expiration date. I again contacted customer service explained the entire situation, and they graciously issued me a coupon for the amount of the original purchase.

So the lesson here is to always look at expiration dates, and try to get one that extends beyond the useful life of the product at your home. I do however commend the customer service agents and Bed Bath and Beyond for trying to make this right.

I bought this as a present off my black lab to my daughter lol. She loved it. I then bought another one for one of my granddaughters and she loves it too. I will definitely be going back

I’ve been getting everlasting treat ball refills for years for my German Shorthair Pointers. There are so many negative reviews on this product due to people who have no idea how to give it to their dog.

Seriously some of these people. smh. You need to use one of the balls this treat is made for. You cant just give it to them without it, OF COURSE they are going to just eat it and be done >. <. I use the double sided treat "ball".

have used this one for years but they make a few styles. I use one treat at a time because over time i found out its better to just use one so both sides don’t get gross. Now Ive hadd soem of my dogs get these all the way down flat before being able to get it out and eat it.

And ive had dogs that have figured out how to pop it out and eat it. With that being said, you need to supervise your dog with this treat. Dont give it to them and leave the house. If your dog is a serious chewer then these probably wont work because your dog may just chew up the treat ball itself.

The dental treat refills have a raised top and I have found those were the easiest for my dogs to pop out. Most of these negative reviews are from people that just give this to the dog without the holder, which is NOT how this treat is suppose to be given.

Ignore those reviews. I’ve been getting these for years and will continue to do so.

I believe all the Everlasting treats are best offered when you need a few minutes to occupy your furry friend. They’re expensive treats as are the toys they go in, for what they are. Your four legged companion will likely figure out how to remove the treat quicker each time.

Franklin figured out how to remove his first treat in under 10 minutes. The second treat was removed in less than seven. The third was removed in less than four minutes. Since I invested in the toy, I still buy the treats.

But, I only offer him a couple a month. My buddy enjoys the brief challenge, the reward, and a satisfying nap afterwards. Therefore, I don’t fuss over the cost too much. I can’t say it’s great. But then Franklin thinks it’s pretty good.

I gave them the full 5 stars because our dog loves them. He is a heavy chewer so he needs toys that take him awhile to break down. It’s great that he can eat it all. There is a point where it’s about gone that we were worried at first.

It seems like it could be a choking issue. But by the time they get to that point it’s really softened up. So he just chews on it until it’s gone. The only thing that is a little hard is getting them into the toys.

You will need a wedge to pry it into the toys. It’s really needed or they could just pull it out and eat it fast. Overall really happy with them.

My dog is less than 35lbs. These rings started to rip apart in less than 2 days of playing. This is really sad because my dog just started wanting to tug more and now he can’t because these rings broke and it was the ring in the middle.

We will still use the separated rings, but this makes it more difficult to play because now it’s a smaller toy. I would not recommend this tug toy. Find other more durable rings.

My black lab LOVES these rings! She has a similar ring toy from Nerf which seems a bit more durable than these holiday rings, but these are holding up nicely so far. We have had them for about a week and she hasn’t torn them up.

Two years ago I bought this for my fur grandbaby. It was so cute I ordered her a second one so she could have one for my home and her home. Then a year ago I got a puppy. He had to have one too so I purchased him one.

Scoured the internet for the perfect pet stockings and OMG this is IT!!! Love that you can customize it with your pets name. Looks exactly like the picture! I bought the red (dog version) for my other cat and simply snipped off the felt bone accents.

The front of this stocking is super adorable for a dog. It’s a soft cute paw shape with two dangly bone on the front. The embroidered name was done well. However it stops there. As the back of the stocking was sad and disappointing it is just cheap basic felt.

I have two dogs, a golden retriever and German shorthair pointer. The GSP destroys every toy! She hasn’t been able to do that to this one yet. Both enjoy the chew with the toy also. I think toys that chew like these also help with teeth cleanliness.

So I would highly recommend this toy especially for those that have destructive ones at home!! I put the stuff n snap (PB) inside this weekend to extend the play/distraction because both do not like fireworks! This did help to divert their attention from that some.

Needless to say, they got extra treats/playtime this holiday weekend. Toys didn’t get destroyed dogs were distracted some from the fireworks…win-win!!!!.

I have an older dog (10 yo) that is very food/treat motivated. She used to enjoy playing with squeak toys when she was younger but isn’t interested anymore. She’s bad about licking her paws when she’s bored, and this is the only thing I’ve found that will distract her from that.

I fill with Natural peanut butter (careful because some peanut butters have ingredients detrimental to dogs) and occasionally layer the peanut butter with blueberries or greenbeans. If you’re going to do this make sure you don’t use frozen produce because it will freeze the peanut butter and they won’t be able to get anything out.

Also, my dog is not a chewer so I don’t worry about her teeth as much, but its something to think about with older dogs that like to chew, Kongs are STRONG, so be careful.

My last 3 schnauzers loved Milk Bone products. My new schnauzer refused their treats. So, I had to find something other than my homemade doggie peanut butter cookies. My neighbor gave her a Kong treat and she gobbled it up! Not knowing which flavor she preferred, I ordered one bag of each of the 3 flavors for small treats.

My Pomeranian has a sensitive tummy and is sensitive to protein, he gets sick easily and diarrhea is not uncommon. We have be careful of the type of treats he gets and how many. My mom sent us a bag for him and they instantly became his new favorite treat, I’ve never seen him so obsessed over a specific treat as he is with his Peanut Butter Bones.

Feeding him these regularly do not seem to irritate him at all, he typically gets 1-2 a day as suggested on the bag. He’s had these regularly for over 6 months now and shows no signs of getting tired of them.

They also don’t irritate his tummy at all! He takes him time to wet and chew them like most bones, this also gives him something to entertain him for a bit which is a huge plus! They even smell like peanut butter so I don’t mind them around either.

These are a STAPLE in our home now! Just be careful as we dropped one in front of our 120lb Rotti and he swallowed it whole!.

I have a 2 year old Chihuahua and a senior ShitZu. The first time I bought a bag I found them to be too hard to cut in half to give to my Chihuahua. I read a review that said they were easy to cut, which I hadn’t found but bought 4 more bags.

The first bag was exactly as the reviewer wrote. The second bag I opened was again super hard and I had a difficult time, and sometimes couldn’t even cut them. I felt the last two bags and they were super hard as well.

Have yet to open them. They have not been sitting long as my dogs get them every day. My ShitZu has tiny teeth and got one end stuck in his throat and I had to stick my finger down his throat to get it out.

As I’m writing this I’m thinking maybe I could soak them in chicken broth. I did give 2 stars because my dogs love the taste. Don’t give them to dogs with little tiny front teeth. Other than that I do love to order from Chewy.

The first time I tried to order, months ago, I was told the color that I chose was not available, altho it was listed as an option, and that the listed price was not correct and seller would do a manual adjustment and refund after I paid the listed cost.

So I canceled the order. This time, I spent two hours browsing thru all the listings, selecting just the right colors for each of my five pups, placed and paid for my order. The listing stated my order to arrive at the first of May.

Best crates ever made!! Have been wanting one for my young Border Collie I’ve started doing Agility with. We had wire crates in my car, but they just weren’t as safe and secure. She started not liking to ride as much due to the slight rocking of the wire crate.

Like many folks, she goes everywhere I go, so I thought I’d try this crate, and a pad. My vet recommended a thundershirt and meds. But I didn’t want to go that route. It solved all her issues and mine! SO happy I ordered this crate and from LL Bean.

For reference I drive a Subaru Forester. My dog is 37 lbs and this is perfect for her. Also the beautiful color matches my black interior. Mostly I feel, and she does too, that she is safe and hops in her crate no problems now.

This is an unbelievably awesome product and I’ve had it in the middle of my family room for about two weeks to let my dogs get used to it and then put it inside my car so they just jump without any fear.

I looked at other crates that were very expensive for high anxiety dogs and this one actually makes my dog comfortable. I don’t know if it’s the color or the size on the inside but she’s not trying to get out and even if she did the door is solid! This is a good size crate on the inside for a dog that has high anxiety and I need to keep her in there for a few hours a day during a trip! Thank you!! I have looked all over for the perfect crates from my dogs. I have a German Shepard and a Belgian Malinois and a Chevy Suburban. We often foster but had a cage behind the rear seats to keep them in the back.

Well. the cage didn’t keep the fosters from chewing my seat strap or seat belt, or my Belgian from licking the window or plastic molding in the back due to her anxiety or to ANY of them from being tossed around during the ride.

So we wanted crates and found these that fit perfectly in our suburban with the rear seats up. Also big enough to hold my two girls and keep them safe or any foster. The best though is they were even cheaper than the factory store.

The factory store wants 10% more and about $200 in shipping for 2. The large size kennels are too big for the rear seat to be up in a suburban but intermediate fits great with even a little room to store their stuff (ie food, water).

The crates offer pre-molded screw holes to attach accessories to the kennel or to one another. Just all around perfect fit for us and at a great value!.
