20 Best Christmas Gifts For Boys (2023 Updated)

So this was another one of my 2 year olds bday purchase that I love more than him. He seems a little unamused by it. He’s in that stage where he just wants so much more, but I am sure he’ll circle back at some point.

I’ll admit, I haven’t taken the time to understand how it works (lol) but an eraser pen would b great to clean up sharp edges or to help create effects. CS seems pretty cool. An extra battery was included and apparently they give a couple years of free battery replacement which is pretty awesome.

Only real con (worth taking off a star but I personally don’t care as much) is that kid ripped pen off string immediately so unless I clip everything back immediately, pen will get lost :-/.

My son is 3 years old and his motor skills are kicking in quickly. My son can easily draw shapes, doodle, and simply erase everything with a simply push of a button. It is an amazing writing tablet and I feel every young child should have one of these.

We practice doing shapes, numbers, letters, animals, and more. My son loves this thing and he uses it almost every single day. With my busy life and my wife also being so busy sometimes this is a way better alternative to keep my son occupied.

TV Child shows and Youtube educational shows are great but this tablet is a even better. This tablet is way more convenient versus using pens and papers. No need to worry about your child drawing on walls or anything because the pen only works on the tablet.

We have had this tablet for awhile now and the battery it comes with is still going strong. Love this tablet. I even catch my self drawing on it and doodling. Amazing product that I personally highly recommend.

I purchased this for my 5 year old daughter. She absolutely loves it. She took it everywhere with her. It’s very lightweight. There’s a lanyard that can connect to the stylus, but she asked me to take it off after maybe 5-10 minutes of use because it was restricting.

There is a 2nd battery in the packaging, but we didn’t need it yet. It’s been 2 months and the 1st battery still works to quickly clear the screen. The lock feature works well, but for a 5-year-old, we don’t use it much =) The only thing that I don’t like is that the rainbow color in that comes up when you write isn’t as bright as I was hoping for.

The color is still impressive for a toy.

We ordered this for our daughter’s 5th birthday and she LOVED it. However after 2 weeks the charging port disconnected from it’s holding and made it impossible to charge. We notified Amazon and were sent a replacement.

We’ve had the replacement now for 2 months and it’s been used less frequently, but again the charging port has broken so we are unable to use it because we can’t charge it. Unfortunately we are now beyond the return/replacement window, but I’m so disappointed that this toy has broken twice now.

The music is great and sound quality is excellent, just no good if you can’t charge the battery :/.

This little microphone is so much fun! After the first day when we connected the Bluetooth feature we could t get Motown back. I wrote to the company (after being unable to find directions how to fix and not being able to get a replacement from the distributor) and Brenden wrote back with these directions:To try the self-fix – there is a Mico-SD card in the toy that needs to be removed and put back in.

Step 1: Remove the white plastic film that is on both the pink and colorful microphone. Step 2: You’ll now see the Mico-SD card outline. Push it in and it should pop out. Step 3: Put it back into the slot.

My 5 year old absolutely loves this. It is her favorite gift that she received for Christmas. Easy to use, music sound quality is great, microphone quality is great. I ordered the rose gold one and it looks better in person.

Volume control is easy to use. There’s slide controls for music volume, mic volume, and voice echo. Easy button controls to skip through songs. Great buy for kids.

My 4 y/o grandson lives with me. I had heard of Elf on the Shelf, but had never investigated what it was all about. Babies R Us didn’t have a regular DVD of the movie, it only carried Blue-Ray (I don’t have that type of DVD player); so I was extremely grateful they were happy to order one for me and have it shipped to my home in 48-72 hours! That scored big points with me.

The DVD movie arrived just as promised, and my grandson has been mesmerized with the movie from its first showing. He has watched it no less than 20 times, and never, ever gets tired of it. (He loves music, so he’s keen on listening to all the different songs in the movie.

) Magically, the Elf re-appears at our house every night — albeit not at the same time — so it keeps my grandson in suspense until bedtime. Sometimes, Elf comes early, sometimes he arrives about 20 minutes before bedtime — but each time Elf lands, it’s always a big WOW factor as to how he showed up and where he’s perched.

We’ve devised different stories about what Elf is up to during the day and where he sleeps at night while we’re sleeping. We bought “jammies” for Elf, and sometimes Elf is wearing them when my grandson finds Elf.

We’ve had discussions about the many boys and girls who don’t have an Elf and who don’t get any toys for Christmas. My grandson is all about sharing his old toys from last year (all in good condition) with kids that don’t have or even get many toys.

The Elf magic has been a great new 2017 tradition in our family, and I suspect it will last for quite a number of years. “Seeing is believing!”.

My daughter was looking for an Elf on the Shelf for my granddaughter, and I saw this in the store. Thinking it was what she wanted, I purchased it for her not realizing the one most of the children have is made of plastic, and this is a plush doll.

So Grandma will keep this at her house every year!.

Very happy to see Target carrying this elf that adds diversity to my Christmas decor. My Christmas party will have families and especially children of different ethnicities and I’m glad they’ll see themselves represented.

The quality is very good. The material is soft while the button nose is firmer. This will be out yearly for Christmas!.

Overall a cute idea. The book is very nice, but I wish the actual elf had bendable limbs. For the price, people shouldn’t have to search the internet for DIY modification hacks. It’s a fun experience for my kids and I do love seeing their reaction when they find their elf every morning.

I wouldn’t recommend it if you don’t want the commitment and longterm effort that comes with the elf.

My kids were really excited that Cookie the Elf on the Shelf showed up at our house since they had heard about elves showing up at their friends’ houses. I love that this came with the elf and the book! It’s been a great behavior management system without using the usual “Santa’s watching” to get the kids on their best behavior.

This is the 3rd Elf that I have bought over the years. My 3 year old is old enough for his own Elf now. I buy the Elves to match my kids eye color and gender. My mistake was to have the Elves move around and do funny stuff.

Now the kids expect it every year. It is so hard to remember to move the darn Elves and I have almost gotten caught a few times. If you are just starting out, here is a tip, just leave the Elf in one spot!.

My 7 year old loves building. He also loves transformers. This is the best of both worlds. The pieces are a bit smaller then traditional legos so if you lose any pieces you can’t use lego pieces to replace so be careful.

Besides that these Robotryx 3in1 are great for gifts, great for rewards, great to keep your kids away from electronics for a few hours. The price is way cheaper the lego sets so thats a bonus too. Satisfied kid and Mama.

Also, I must ad to my review that their customer service is exceptional. We lost our directions and they sent one via chat in less then a minute. Happy kid = Happy Mama.

My 5 year old obsessed with Lego absolutely loves this set! The pieces are quite small, however, and don’t connect to regular Lego, but I love that it comes in its own storage box and he’s made a ton of things from his imagination as well as following the instructions.

The pieces are small and might be hard for very young children to assemble. Overall 5 out of 5 stars ***** Very reasonably priced too!.

delivery package was opened. although container was sealed something told. me to do an inventory of the pieces. And after tearing through all toy boxes while tidying a room at the same time I was still missing important pieces for wheel mounting.

At first glance, it looked cool and something my grandson and I could enjoy doing together, because we thought by looking at it we would be able to put together all three of the figures showing. We were wrong and found that we could only put together one at a time, then take apart to put together the next one figure.

They only supply enough parts to put together one figure at a time. For the price, it is not really worth it. It comes with a nice case. The picture instructions are actually understandable for me, but my grandson was having some difficulties.

He too was disappointed that we could only make one figure at a time. Bottom line it is okay, for the price it is not really worth it because we thought we would be able to put together all three figures – which it is misleading.

I received Snabglider for my birthday. Once I had finished building it it could break quite easily when I was playing with it so you need be careful with it. However, I was able to fix again quickly.

They are great figures to play with. I would definitely ask for another character from the set. They look amazing once they have been built. When you have collected all five you can also build one great big action figure called Garantron.

My 6 year old son got this for Christmas and he couldn’t wait to put it together. He soon realized that he needed all of them to build the big one. This is such a mind stimulating toy. It took some time but he was able to do this by himself.

The joy of accomplishment on his face, he was so proud.

I purchased this for my 8 year old grand twins, because the girl loves cats, and they both like board games. Their dad and mom play monopoly a lot, but not with the kids. This says ages 8 and up. It was perfect! The first time we played, the kids didn’t want to stop, but I insisted we take a break after 2 hours.

(Yes, this is a “cat” version of Monopoly, so it does take time, but time flies. ) I can’t wait to visit them again to play the game with them. Highly recommend.

I received this board game within 4 days of ordering it!! I purchased this game as a Christmas gift for my 8 year old granddaughter. I researched the company before ordering. This company is based in Cinncinatti , Ohio.

Every part and piece of this game is made within a small radius of the city. Yes, made in the USA!!! I didn’t have to advance order or wait forever to receive the game. Because this is a Christmas gift, I can’t comment on how much fun it will be.

I did find that there are facts of the various breeds to be discovered while playing. I look forward to giving this gift!.

I bought this for being raised in Chicago and growing up there, for nostalgic reasons. But once I actually seen this game in person I was disappointed in the manufacture of the game. The game pieces could have represented the iconic features in Chicago and there could have been made better choices of the game board itself.

There’s so much to choose from I understand that but with that being said I think the choices made were not good, all could have been better. But like I said because of nostalgic reasons I bought this game and will try to enjoy it as is.

Very good lego set. It is one of the top two lego free gifts that I recommend. It is really a nice disply during Christmas, and daily decoration as well. It is also a good gift to anyone for a special event.

Item came four days earlier than expected. Despite being in a USPS box, the Lego box was still crushed. Luckily Legos are very durable but I do like to keep my boxes. Thank you. I am sure I will enjoy this set.

Love this Countdown to Christmas Tree. Very sturdy and easy for the grandchildren to see how many days are left before Christmas. Magnets stick well and are so pretty. Ordered the religious version and disappointed that it only included one religious symbol; baby Jesus.

Really felt that it should include more religious symbols to market it as being religious. Thus, only giving it 4 stars.

My calendar arrived in perfect condition! I was a little concerned it would be a bit banged up from other reviews I have seen elsewhere. Although this calendar doesn’t give me chocolate I am happy that it’s something I can reuse every year and be apart of our Christmas traditions.

I love that the whole tree is magnetic and not just the circles. I’ve been letting my 18 month old play with it and he enjoys putting the ornaments all over the tree and taking them off.

I bought this Christmas Tree for my two granddaughters to play with. One is 4 and one is 1 1/2 years old. They love it! The magnets are not too strong or too weak so they have no trouble taking the ornaments off or putting them on.

There’s a lot variety in this pack. Small ones are good for pockets and backpack for school. Lots of different textures.

I bought these as a Christmas gift for a 4- year old. I didn’t pay a lot of attention to the details before ordering. They are really small, only a couple of inches, similar to matchbox cars, They are really cute with each one being a different dinosaur.

I’m sure he’ll be excited to play with them.

They are smaller than I expected, but the sharp corners of the toys are not as sharp as I expected. Therefore, the safety hazard is very small. The plastic sharp corners will not stick out and hurt people when thrown out.

For my 2 year old nephew. He likes dinosaurs and also race autos so this was an excellent present for him. For the cost this was the most happiest toy he obtained and also his joy is priceless.

Arrived late Christmas Eve, WAY later than the magazine subscription started, so we didn’t get a chance to do all the holiday activities. We barely had time to read the Night Before Christmas book! They’ll just go in storage for another year, which is too bad.

Bought the Highlights gift and subscription for my great-granddaughter because I grew up with Highlights when I was a small child and learned so much with Highlights. What a wonderful tradition to carry on to my third generation family!!.

I was excited to get these because my boys love Paw Patrol. When we received them, the toys did not line up , they were put in upside down. I had to open the package to fix it and then some of the numbers fell off that we have not gotten to those dates yet.

I was really disappointed since I paid over $40 for each one.

I don’t get the low ratings on this product. It’s an advent calendar! My daughter loved this. ALl the main pups are here, decked out in winter outfits, along with several of their friends. There’s also several winter themed props for them to play on and sleds/snowplows for each pup.

pro: you get the toys in the box which you paid for. con: tear away boxes do not lineup with dates -disappointing for the kids who expect something from each box (day). Some dates had double toys, other dates had no toy lined up or was taken away from the double date.

Every now & then you run across a gem – THIS IS IT!! I bought one for my daughter and niece (both tiny toddlers) and they had a ball!!! Packaging was great. The tree has Velcro squares all over it. You could possible iron out the wrinkles, which are not many.

I didn’t iron; I nailed it on the wall with racks. It comes with 30 different pieces which are in a separate bag in the package. I hung up the tree, took out all the pieces, threw the plastic bag away and let her go at all by herself.

Both were thrilled they could decorate their tree as they pleased. Didn’t help with one item! The pieces didn’t fall off; it’s just really easy entertainment for a toddler. I highly recommend. The picture was taken right after they were done decorating.

If that doesn’t convince you they had a ball, I dont know what to tell you lol.

We loved this product. As soon as I opened it and hung it up both of my children played with it. I have a 1 year old and 7 year old and they both have enjoyed it immensely. The oldest one can sit on the floor and play with it while it is the perfect height for the little one to play with while standing.

The material is a think and durable felt. It has a ribbon at the top of the tree to hang it up at whatever height you would like. Each ornament is made of a think hard felt. The ornaments have Velcro on the back of them and there is green Velcro on the tree to attach the ornaments too.

If the Velcro comes loose it to is super easy reattach. The ornaments are easy to rearrange on the tree for hours of decorating fun. There are several different ornaments in different shapes and colors.

Our included cute little snow men, snowflakes, deer, round ornaments, and starts in all different colors. I would highly recommend this product for anyone with children or even a preschool or kindergarten classroom.

You couldn’t make one with this type of felt for this price.

I was pleasantly surprised when this came in the mail. For the price, it is made out of sturdy material and is very cute. A few of the pieces of Velcro came off the backs of the ornaments already, but those are easy to glue back on.

When I was looking at buying a felt tree for my almost three year old I found them for up to $30! I was hesitant to buy this one because the price was so low but I was not disappointed! My three year old loves it and I can see it being part of our Christmas tradition!.

Not a sweet endearing story at all. Didn’t enjoy the constant talk of being naughty or nice. Didn’t realize it mentioned prayers. Overall, I’m shocked so many people love this. It’s grossly overpriced for the quality as well! There’s so many nice books you could buy instead and also pick out a quality stuffed toy if that’s what you’re looking for.

Kids would probably enjoy it even more. Don’t recommend this to anyone.

I bought the girl last year for my granddaughters and this year for grandsons! So much fun reading the story each Xmas and then hiding the elf in all kinds of silly places around the home. It is amazing how well behaved the children are when they think they are being watched.

We exlpained that you cannot touch the elf or they will lose their magic. A great tradition for the family, just remember to move the elf every night.

The T-Rex Tee is exactly as presented in the advertisement and well done on quality fabric. It’s funny and I know the individual I’m giving it to as a Christmas gift will get a good laugh but also appreciate and enjoy the shirt.

This would be a 5 star set if the shepherd weren’t missing! My kids love it however and just use the sheep in place of the shepherd. Baby Jesus, Mary, and Joseph are always in my 3 year old hands. My little 15 month old loves the animals and dances to the away in a manger song! Even my 6 year old loves it and and has enjoyed it for the last 3 years.

Really a great set but I’d love to see Fisher Price bring back a Lil Shepherd set so that I can get a nice shepherd scene to add to this in the future. PLEASE bring it back. we love the shepherds! Thanks for your great toys!.

My preschooler loves my nativity. Which is old and super breakable, so I wanted to get her one of her own that could be played with and truly enjoyed. After a lot of research I chose this one and I’m so very happy I did.

They have another version with less animals and no stable but I believe this one is worth the extra money. The music and angel and lights really add a nice touch. The ONLY thing I would change is the fact the characters are not ethnically correct (which sadly doesn’t surprise me at all) If you are a parent who not only celebrates Christmas, but also celebrates and teaches the meaning of it, this is an absolute must have for little ones.

We love our Christmas Story set! I set it up low for the kids to play with beneath the adult nativity and they love lighting up the nativity and beating the music play when the angel is pressed. There is a little cart that you can attach to the donkeys and enough pieces to arrange to keep interest without being difficult for small hands.
