19 Best Christmas Cookie Decorating Kit (2023 Updated)

I was gifted this product so I could give an honest review. This is one of my favorite products I’ve been gifted! I think it’s a great idea to not only have the cookie cutters, but the decorating tips and icing bags.

It also comes with a little recipe card for sugar cookies and ginger bread which is convenient! I liked the variety of shapes it had as well – very festive. The only thing I couldn’t figure out (maybe I’m just missing it) is it had pictures of how each icing tip worked, but I couldn’t figure out which one corresponded to which icing tip without actually trying them out.

Otherwise, this is a fun and festive gift idea or something to have if you have young kids!.

These cookie cutters are great, I had a set and two moves later it is lost so I was very happy to see Walmart was carrying them. they arrived earlier than the estimated delivery date.

I caught this on sale an scooped up one for myself and one for a dear friend that likes to bake. They will make for some holiday fun

I recently learned to flood cookies and invested in this tool kit. Let me tell you, the scribe tool makes dealing with air bubbles super easy- far easier than just a toothpick! Can’t wait to use the other tools too.

Your going to love the beautiful shapes/designs of these Wilton Holiday Cookie Cutter Set, 10-Piece in Christmas green and red colors in a Gingerbread Boy and Girl, Tree, Snowman, Candy Cane. This kid-friendly set is plastic and large, around 3 inches, so little hands can really help without frustrations.

Lots of space to decorate with everything you can think of to make a cookie its greatest ever. It comes in a cute little box in holiday colors but not recommended to be saved in this box. I keep mine in a Ziploc bag for storage.

What jumped at us right away are the big and nice shapes these cutters make, and how safe (!) they are for kids to handle. We had a blast making cookies using these shape cutters. And although our product did not come out exactly presentable in a picture (lol), the cutters did their job superbly.

Plus they are super easy to clean and store. At the noted price, they present a value that is hard to beat out there. Very nice addition to the kitchen.

This is a really great learning tool for anyone wanting to learn how to decorate cookies. Highly recommend this set to all who want to give cookie decorating a try.

It says mini, and I thought it meant small set, it actually meant little cutters, who can even decorate these things. I have little child size hands and they are about the size of my thumb. Also another set on here says mini and they are only $2.

These were smaller than I had imagined based from these photos. I got this version because I just wanted the gingerbread man cutter. I could still use these to make small cookies but it will be a little more difficult to decorate.

I was gifted this product so I could give an honest review. I was practicing making the sugar cookie recipe using the star shaped cutter for Memorial Day. The cookies were delicious, however, because there is a seam on this cookie cutter, it showed the seam after baking.

Time. Since I am a perfectionist, this bothered me. I do enjoy the fact that there is a recipe for Royal Icing as well as a Gingerbread Recipe. If you are new to cooking and do not mind the seams on most of the cookie cutters, then I would say that this product is good.

Nothing bad to say. Had a fun time using these for cookies. As per the other comments, I make sure to thoroughly dry these before putting them away. Just in case they rust. Will likely last a long time if you take care of them.

great tool set for cookie decorating. would love to be able to purchase a multi pack of just the stylus. Works better than toothpicks, which is what I was originally using.

I had so much fun trying this out! Very easy to use. You cut the point about a 1/2 inch back off the piping bag and slip the tip you want to use through the hole. You add the frosting as low in the bag as possible, twist the top and push the icing out.

I used the star shaped tip. I didn’t try this on cookies (what it’s meant for) because my mom’s birthday happened to come before, so I tried it on cupcakes instead. Normally the baked goods I make are not fancy at all but I was so delighted with how my cupcakes came out.

They look almost professional! I had so much fun trying different patterns. This will be great for decorating Christmas cookies. It comes with 3 tips. Two circle tips, one bigger, one smaller that can make lines or dots.

And, one star tip that can make ridged lines or star dots. Also comes with a nice spatula to spread icing and 10 piping bags. Hand washable, the tips are top rack dishwasher safe. The bags are very thick, even though they are disposable I washed mine to reuse again.

I really like this kit, it’s very simple and easy to use for a person like me without much experience using piping bags. The only thing I would add is more to the directions about how to put the tips in the piping bags a person whose never done this before or seen it done might not know how.

Other than that, I think these are great. Comes with all the basics you need -highly recommend!.

This Wilton Cookie Decorating Set with Spatula is a basic decorating set consisting of two icing decorating icing bag tips and an offset flat spatula. The icing bag tips fit well and work great with a standard icing bag.

However, the spatula is another matter,. While the offset manner of the spatula is perfect for spreading icing, the plastic material the spatula is made out of is extremely light and brittle and does not handle a substantial weight of icing at one time for spreading, nor does it hold up well in an utensil drawer.

First let me say, you need to put the tip on the inside of the bag. I put the icing in the bag and then put the tip on the outside. The icing pushed the tip off. When I got it set up right, everything worked great.

For a beginner, I would recommend this, however, for a more experienced decorator, I would say to pay more and get the screw on tips. Maybe, if I were more experience, I would be able to give a better review.

My first impression was that the set was rather small but it wound up being perfect for my grandson to help me in practicing up for Christmas cookie time. Wilton products, to me, are quite durable and very easy to use and clean.

The reusable bags are the best, rinse them off, place them on a glass to dry off and use over and over again, just love them. The tips are also very good, easy to use and clean; I did purchase a little tool to clean out the tips, but you can easily use a damp cue tip to thoroughly clean them also.

I’m strongly considering purchasing a few more of the Wilton Cookie cutter Nutcracker sets to give as gifts after Thanksgiving dinner, what a nicer way to bring in the Holiday spirit. I would definitely recommend this product.

Such a great little kit. The kids really had fun baking cookies with this kit. The cutters cut through the dough with ease without getting stuck. They always see me baking cookies and want to join in, especially when im frosting or piping.

This little kit is defiantly worth it. I cannot wait until Christmas time so we can make more.

Set comes with large cookie cutter and three smaller ones. Also includes 4 decorating tips and 4 bags for different colors. It would be a nice set for a beginning cookie maker or decorator. The quality of the items is excellent.

The bags are disposable but could probably be washed once or twice, if desired, as they are a very nice weight, thicker than some you buy that are disposable. Overall it is a great item to purchase.

This is a good collection of the tools you will need to decorate cookies or other types of baked goods. It’s sold at a reasonable price to get everything in one set, instead of having to buy separate items.

I bought this set because I needed piping tips. But the tips in this set are very small and not that universal. I ended up buying a separate Wilton tip for what I needed. I do love the piping bags though.

They hold up well, no bursting or stretching.

I’m super excited about beginning to decorate cakes with this kit !! It was reasonably priced and the perfect size to start with!

The large cookie cutter for the stable walls was wobbly and bent, so the walls didnt’t meet like they were supposed to and I will throw it away and line up with a ruler next year. The other cutters were good though, sharp and seems solid even though the metal is thinner that I’m used to.

Very pleased with them! The recepies were good as well! I didn’t use the piping equipement as i have my own. The box was damaged upon delivery, but it didn’t seem to have affected the cutters.

I haven’t used them yet and I was surprised to see the recipes included and so many icing tips too. Nice surprise. I missed Christmas this year but there is always next year and gives me time to practice.

Who says you can’t help a friend’s pregnancy cravings.

We’re very pleased with the quality of this product. We felt we got good value for the money and everyone had fun.

Do not buy. Bought two, both roofs, cracked and caved in. Much softer than actual ginger bread cookie kits. But al least we got two small packs of Oreo cookies out of the deal.

The addition of a base helped made it easy to put the house up. The icing was the perfect consistency. The only issue was the 2 we bought did not come with mini Oreos as advertised.

We can’t wait to do our Christmas tradition of building a gingerbread house!

Seems ok as intended for a Christmas gift can’t open and inspect contents.

Took money now have to wait till I get my payment back through PayPal so was listed even though they never had any to sell

We picked this up in store instead of having it shipped in hopes of avoiding damaged gingerbread. but no such luck. The box was fully sealed but the plastic around the gingerbread has a hole in it and the bag of icing does as well.

Makes it feel unsafe. To top it off, the way the gingerbread walls were packaged bent them so now there’s no way to build the house properly. Overall very disappointing. :(.

Easiest gingerbread house we have ever built. The stands help it stay up and blend in perfectly so you cannot see them on the finished product.

This is a great package for those just beginning to decorate cakes, cookies and such. I don’t do a lot of decorating, but for special occasions these will be just what the doctor ordered!

Love the variety of tips and that it comes in a case for easy storage. It’s a great starter option for cookie decorating.

The Wilton brand just never disappoints. My only complaint is that for years, I’ve had to live without this gadget, and pressing out patterns in my cookies was a bit more difficult to achieve. OK, maybe I have two complaints.

My second complaint would be that I wish they made a deluxe set where you could get a lot of patterns at once. My set came with three patterned choices, all good choices. It’s so simple to use, its scary, and my patterns were deep enough into the dough so as to make a perfect image on my cookies (I did sugar cookies, but I’m sure any will work the same).

Changing the pattern is a process that takes seconds, and you’ve got a different pattern going. I love, love, love this thing and can’t wait to pick more patterns, because holiday cookie gifting just got easier, and easier, in my life, is better.

Seriously, I don’t have any complaints and love this thing. Happy Holiday baking, you guys!.
