Used this product twice now. Once in mid July heat to seal a mysterious hole that suddenly became apparent over my laundry room, and now to fix a tree limb puncture on my garage roof. Somewhat tough to spread in cold weather, even when making sure to keep the tube at room temp.

However, product works great! No leaks so far, and easy to use. Keep mineral spirits around for cleanup.

Recently had to apply around a bathroom vent after a bad storm. Easy to apply. So far holding up well. I will check the repair again ‘hopefully’ next year or whenever I see rain getting in again and apply some more over the existing.

I purchased before stormy weather came. Repaired leak around my chimney. Its been 19 hours, rain is here and no leaks.

This is perfect for keeping mice out of your car–no kidding. I have no experience with this for its intended use as flashing, so can’t comment on that, but it has been a very effective “mouse moat” and has saved me from hours of work repairing mouse damage on my car.

Just what I needed for my deck roof to the house .

During or I should say after the flood in Cedar Rapids IA in 2008, I resided my house myself. The first time I had ever done siding by the way, and I did it all by hand. Four months later I was done.

It turned out great and I was very proud, but how many times did I smack my fingers with a hammer I can’t even try to estimate. Now I’m residing my new house after the deracho that happened in Cedar Rapids and this gun plus the siding tip are amazing.

Worth every cent, not to mention it’s a roofing nailer to start off with so I got two tools in one, with the extra siding adapter.

Bought this to use primarily for tyvek, foam, vinyl siding and soffits. Also purchased the vinyl siding attachment for it. I am sure it works well as a roofing gun, and it is superb for nailing tyvek and foam up, but as a siding nailer, it is not perfect.

In 5000+ nails on my house, it has never jammed once, but has needed to have coil nails hooked back into feed pawl. I am not sure if that is a problem with the nails or the gun, but I assume it is the nails.

We use it mainly for attaching metal flashings. This model works great for that application. Most other brands wont sink the nails. I recommend this nailer.

I used this product to patch some cracks on my roof before coating. It is very malleable and temperature tolerant, I used it in the early morning to physically take advantage of the fresh breeze. I reinforced the cracks with patching fabrics, though the patch would take care of the cracks with its resiliency.

My cracks are not large so I wouldnt know how it will work with the large ones, though I would keep using and recommend it for small jobs.

Very messy and stinky but it does the job. I wore gloves as suggested but they stuck together so had to remove them anyway. I used wd40 spray and baby oil to clean up tool handles and my hands.

Special project on a porch roof. Tried other tube wet patch and had to remove and replace with Henry. Can’t beat the quality and price.

So I purchased 4 quart containers of this sealant a few years ago with intentions to do some repairs that were actually not necessary following some roof reconstruction. That said, this stuff sat in my shed for around 4-5 years before I had a chance to use it (not climate controlled – full swing of weather in the NE).

I was afraid that like caulk tubes this very expensive purchase would be a loss but I was pleasantly surprised to find that all 4 containers stayed viable! I had a small leak in my roof SOMEWHERE that I could not pin down.

I decided to just hit every possible infiltration point with this sealant and see (roof vents, waste line vents, a few cracked shingles, etc. ). Well, one of the spots I hit must have been the leak point because months later there’s no further leak evidence even following some pretty horrific rain storms.

I am so happy with the results that I wanted to share a few things I learned while using this sealer. 1) I see a lot of people recommend foam brushes for this stuff, but I would counsel getting short utility paint brushes instead.

My asphalt shingle roof would have shredded the foam brushes and the traditional bristles of the utility brushes I purchased let me really get into the cracks with the sealant. Also – the bristles are a bit stiffer than many foam brushes – good for getting the last of the sealant out of the jar, especially as it starts to cure.

I used a 2″ wide brush (with 1″ long bristles) which just fit into the mouth of the quart jar. I got a box of these things for peanuts a long while ago and still haven’t run out of them. 2) A note about the curing.

some other reviewers mentioned getting gallon containers instead of the quart size containers. Do this ONLY if you are going to use this stuff all at once and relatively quickly. I was very careful to recap my quart jar as I moved about the roof and I still barely got to the bottom of the container before it started to gel up to the point it became unusable.

Unless you have a big project, get a bunch of quart size jars so that the most you will use/lose per job is one quart. Plan your job ahead of time so that you will spend the least amount of time after jar-open.

3) Plan to lose what you don’t use. I carefully re-capped what little I had left in the last quart jar I was using – even did the “breathe into the jar for CO2 layer” trick and the stuff still completely cured within hours.

Once air gets into the jar the timer starts ticking. 4) Be careful cleaning up. I got this on my extension ladder, jeans, shirt, shoes, etc. I was wearing work clothes and work gloves so no problem there, but you would NOT want to get this on anything you care about.

One unexpected bonus – the work gloves I was wearing now have a water resistant side – the sealant coated the palms and fingers of the work gloves and they are still flexible and workable! 5) Be aware that this sealant is somewhat shiny when cured – so if your roof is visible from ground level, the repair patches will be noticeable if you’re looking.

It’s not “ice in the sun” shiny, but on an asphalt roof it stands out. I don’t care because anything was worth nailing that leak, but it’s something to take into consideration. The net sum is that this sealant really works, sticks to anything and everything, and is still pliable and well adhered almost a year later after being applied to a swept but weathered roof in full exposure to the elements.

I can only hope that it lasts until it’s time to re-shingle the roof again.

One day it was pouring & water was dripping through the ceiling in the bedroom. I checked in the attic as seen here in the picture. I could only get a general idea exactly where it was leaking. On the roof I figured it somewhere within 5 square ft.

I coated with about 1/3 the can. Next rain, it still leaked. Coated with another 1/3 can, leaked again. I used the last 1/3 of the can coating the whole area including the side of the ridge along the edge of the shingles.

It seems that was the only area not covered. Since then its rained hard many times and it stopped leaking. Good stuff if you can locate where the leak is.

I have applied 2 1/2 gallons since I discovered this product about 6 months ago. I have applied it on a 2=12 pitch metal roof/deck where it joins the house and on the screws and seams of this new covering and no leaks yet, also on our 1994 RV trailer roof which had some leaks and does not appear to be leaking, also applied to the metal roof of an old (1981) mfg home rental on the Oregon coast and today applied to the metal roof of our rural home that has had a regular leak next to the brick fireplace chimney, covered all joints and screws.

I like the way this product flows into cracks after it is brushed on. I did not like the foam brushes so went to stiff paint brush then to a small stiff nylon bristle scrub brush. The bristle scrub brush was shaped like a wire brush with a handle, this seemed to work the best for me.

as for the product stopping leaks we will see after this western Oregon winter. This product appears to be flexible when dry and does not seem to be prone to cracking like regular caulk or asphalt rain patch.

Our metal roof had a small leak and during the summer was getting hot, even with AC. Read online about this product and ordered 3 Henry’s 4. 75 Gal. 287 Solar Flex Roof Coating. This stuff is amazing! Easy to apply, coats a very large area and the best part, works like a dream! The house was 5 degress cooler the next hot day after we applied it! Sold on this product.

After spending a couple hours cleaning the roof of our camp trailer, the product went on very well with a 3/4 inch nap roller. I was able to put on two coats and plan to wash the whole roof again before the temperature drops and put another couple coats.

It looks really nice and white!.

We applied a heavy coating to the roof area that was leaking. Two days later, it rained and the coating did not stop the rain from pouring into the kitchen. We bought 5 gallons of Black Magic and that stopped the rain.

We were told that turmeric is great for inflammation. What kind? Eh, doesn’t seem to matter. It’s not a magic pill where you take one and instantly feel better, but with consistent use, we definitely noticed a difference in general aches and pains, as well as other kinds of inflammation like acid reflux and seasonal allergy sinus swelling.

Is it the turmeric? I can’t say for certain but I definitely noticed a difference when I stopped taking it. So. I’ll keep taking it.

I have chronic Lyme. My naturopath recommended something for inflammation. I found these at my local drugstore so I bought them. I have since used other brands that I purchase through iHerb, and found greater results with California Gold brand.

This is the best asphalt based driveway crack sealer and roof shingle storm damage repair. It is a cost effective and easy to apply solution. It can be applied with wood shims which are also inexpensive.

I bought three cases from Lowe’s about a year ago. Now I have leaks all over my roof where the cement came back loose. A waste of my time and money. My review is 0.

This Spray and Forget Revolutionary Roof Cleaner Concentrate works great!! The one gallon container actually makes 5 gallons and that was definitely enough to clean the roof of my home and the awnings above my widows.

It’s really easy to use, just like it says, Spray and Forget! My house was built in 1930 and still has the original slate roof, this Cleaner actually worked amazingly, I couldn’t believe how clean it looks.

And I love the fact that I didn’t have to cover up my flower beds, it doesn’t hurt your flowers, bushes, grass etc. I absolutely recommend this cleaner, I definitely won’t be using anything else.

I used this product on the roof of my motor home. It had sat under oak trees for over a year and was filthy and moldy. I was surprised that you are only supposed to leave this on for a minute before rinsing.

In actuality, I probably left it on for 3 or 4 minutes by the time I could get to the rinsing part. I was impressed how well it worked. I did have to reapply in a few areas, but the roof was super dirty.

I will use this again and try to keep up with the cleaning at more regular intervals which I think will only need one application.

I tried this roof cleaner. It was easy to use and the directions where simple and easy to understand. I liked the fact that you just spray it and and your done. I have parts of my roof that don’t get much sun and seem to grow a moss like on it.

Needed the product to splice and seal several clay tiles from my roof that were hit and cracked by a falling tree limb. I applied generous beads or the sealant between the tile portions broken apart and pressed the pieces together for a little while.

Repeated this procedure until all cracked tiles were taken care of. Finally, I applied a bead of sealant all along all cracks and allowed the beads to dry.

Smooth, easy application with a caulking gun. Great to have on hand for indoor problems also.

DAP has always had good products, this one is priced really good also.

We have a lot of storage units on our property, most with flat roofs. We have used the Henry Dura-Brite product for the last 15 years. We use it to seal-up and protect the roofs from the damaging effects of the weather, to help ensure that our storage clients don’t end up with a leaky roof.

We get a lot of hail and heavy rains in the summer, so we re-coat the roofs every three years. It isn’t that hard, you can either roll it on with a roller, or spray it on with a paint spraygun. We have applied it either way and it goes on easily but thickly.

The coating has a rubbery feel to it. Hail bounces right off without dinging-up the metal. You could buy Flex-seal, but one gallon of Flex-Seal costs the same as FIVE gallons of Henry Dura-Brite. Under most circumstances, the obvious choice is the Henry Dura-Brite.

Product is good, but if you live in an area with trees and shade this product does not work well. Within 1 years time my roof turned green from algae. This product does not block algae. If used in a shaded area algae will turn the roof green.

Disappointed it does not have an algae blocker. Back to aluminum roof coating for me. Wasted my money on 2-5 gal buckets. Other then the algae growth the product was great.

I used this to reseal the roof of my camper. Rolled/Brushed it on. 3 coats 24hrs apart. Keeps it a little cooler and sealed everythinhg up.

I have a moderate sized house on a very wooded lot in very humid climate. I had a new roof installed with GAF Sovereign 3-tab shingles in 2004. They lasted beautifully, withstanding continuous impacts from falling branches and acorns.

Algae growth and staining didn’t begin to occur until around the 13th year and when cleaned, it remained clear for at least a year. Amazing given the environment the shingles were in. During the entire life of the shingles, there was no leaking.

Due to these factors, I put the same shingles on in 2020 when I got the new roof.

The installers were very courteous. However, there was a very jagged edge left after installation that we were told TWICE was perfectly normal. Also, the slope was raised. We were ALSO told this was perfectly NORMAL.

Frankly, it was ugly and you could see it coming all the way down the street. We had to push them to do their job and return to trim the edges more neatly. Nothing was done about the raised slope. Not perfect, but at least it looks better.

The whole thing left a bad taste in our mouths. Also, they didn’t clean up the area where the roll off was placed and we found shingles left around the property.

I love my new GAF Timberline HDZ roof. It looks absolutely beautiful. I chose Weathered Wood because it goes perfectly with my brick color. I can’t say enough great things about David Johnson of Veterans Roofing and his installation crew.

They had to tear off the old shingles and install the new ones and they did an awesome job. They were very thorough right down to the clean up when they were finished. I would highly recommend them to all my friends and family.
