At 7am added 2. 25 oz to 300 gal Sundance Spa. Water temp was 101. Ran pump on high speed for 5 hours. Leak slowed but was not stopped added additional 2. 25 oz and ran pump for 7 hours. Let spa rest over night.

On the morning of the second day leak was still showing so added 3 oz and by 1 pm about 6 hours leak had stopped. Ran the pump on low speed til about 7 pm then let the entire system rest at a temp of 102.

The following morning leak was gone. Without this product I would have to un-skirt the spa or lift it up to look underneath for leaks. I’ve used it in the past and will continue to use it in the future.

Bottom line “it works”.

We struggled with SpaUp, Spa Down, Bromide tablets, and De-Foamer until trying this product. We use this product with the Pre Fresh Water Fill Filter and water set to 102 degrees to clean our water. We gave all our Bromide tablets away.

One Aqua Check test strip and it is spot on all levels. 2 scoops a week is all we use for our personal use. We recommend Spa Choice Sanitizing Granules to any new spa owner who cannot seem to get their levels right.

This product works just as well as the brand of the competition. Sometimes it’s easier just to go to the store to pick up the product than to wait for delivery.

As far as I can tell, regardless of the brand, all chlorine concentrate for spas contain the same ingredient – Sodium Dichloro-S-Triazinetrione, at 99%. Therefore, I shop by price. Spa Essentials was the cheapest at the time that I was shopping.

I have noticed that at different times, different brands from different online stores are the cheapest, so both the brand and seller typically change with each spa chlorine order that I make. I have purchased Spa Essentials before, and it keeps my spa chlorine levels within the parameters that I need.

But that’s expected, of course.

Very happy with this product; far better than other more expensive options and very gentle on the skin (surprisingly gentle) yet is powerful/concentrate. I don’t have to do anything else now besides shock once or twice a week (cap full) and then exiting use throw maybe a 3rd capful.

I like how the smell is off putting when shocking and then goes away when it’s safe to use, almost totally goes away which is nice compared to other products that always have a lingering chlorine smell.

I was using those expensive frog floaters until I started researching what type of chemical was the best to use in hot tubs. This particular chemical came highly recommended and is very easy to use. Make sure to follow the directions on how much product you should put in your hot tub based on the number of gallons your tub holds.

I have a 600 gallon hot tub, and I put a little plastic scoop inside the container. I think my little scoop hold about 2 teaspoons of chemical. I put 4 scoops in at the beginning of the week and put in 2 scoops after each use during the week.

The water stays crystal clear and has no odor. This product has lasted far longer than the frogs did, and it is much less expensive.

This is the product that came with my superior hot tub. We’ve had our new hot tub for a year now. We love it and the Di Chlor keeps the water in good shape. I put a cap full in every 2 or 3 days. It doesn’t take much.

I have been searching for the best price for this specific product for over a couple months while my supply of 24 packages had gotten down to two. I have been a pool owner now for two years and settled in on this product first and foremost because one package treats my 12,000 gallon pool.

Most shock products treat 10,000 gallons and I certainly did not want to have to use algebraic linear interpolation to tear into another bag to get enough shock to treat another 2,000 gallons. I believe in being as exact as I can when it comes to my water chemistry.

The other major attribute I looked for is the chemical composition of the shock because on my area (Palm Springs, CA) our water comes from the tap at about 280ppm calcium hardness and just like my friend/enemy, cyanuric acid-stabilizer- the only way to bring the hardness and stabilizer levels down is to partially drain the pool (stabilizer is not a variable in this shock as far as I know) but I don’t like draining because I don’t like wasting such a valuable resource even if California was not in a very serious drought situation nor do I like the extra cost on my water bill! This past season I have drained the pool once completely and once partially.

Herr it is December and it’s getting up there and I am talking about cyanuric acid but the calcium hardness is around 400 but is not causing much mineral build up on my coping tile. So this product is sodium based rather than other brands being calcium based and this is good because the weekly additions I make during the time I can use the pool don’t contribute to the hardness component’s normally increasing with time from fill.

Now the one thing I don’t like but it would be the same dislike with any other shock that claims you can enter the water in a mere 15 minutes after application (unless one used an oxidizing shock but that’s almost impossible to find at a discounted price in a larger quantity than one treatment online).

Of course Clorox adds the disclaimer to measure the clorine level and balance the water but my experience for safe entry after using this product NOT 15 MINUTES but is more like TWO DAYS before the chlorine level goes below 4 to 5ppm and thats in the hot summer! This time of year, I dont even have to put my floating 3″chlorine tablet dispenser in the pool cuz the chlorine stays above 5! So with all that said I was glad to find this years “deal” because I got 18 packages for the price of 12 if I had bought elsewhere at the two online places I spend probably 95% of the hefty monthly amount I buy for all my needs that I don’t get at the brick and mortar places used to frequent.

Clorox, please don’t ever change your formulation to an amount other than 12,000 gallons to squeeze more profit out because you will lose a loyal customer and more. If you just have to do something, just go on and hike the price because the alternative for pool owners is to fill the pool with dirt and landscape over it due to operating cost.

I am concerned that shock left a residue of some kind at the bottom of my pool. It did raise the free chlorine level quite well, but I was concerned about possibly bleaching my liner so I vacuumed up the residue.

I have an ultraviolet water sanitizer which destroys chlorine so I don’t put chlorine in through my skimmer. I have not contacted Clorox on this matter. I believe that they manufacture the product so I always purchase from them being wary of the content of other sellers who buy their product from Clorox.

this is for a good deep clean of your spa. each time you are ready to empty and refill, first put a full bottle in (less for smaller tubs, more if you have a giant one, read the bottle) I like to take out the filters and let them do a good soak in filter clean while i do this.

pour it in, turn it on, let it run for 20. its going to probably foam up a lot the first time you use it. this is getting into each pipe and water line you cant see or get at. its attaching to the “biofilm” , which is a disgusting slime layer that is harboring all manner of icky stuff like what causes folliculitis.

chlorine alone can not kill off or clean out this film. when the spa stops, let it sit half hour or more if you feel its gotten out of hand, then run it again. now drain the spa, and wipe down the sides from time to time as the water lowers.

then get in there and sponge out the last bits of water here and there and take a wash cloth and scrub around jets and things. now the spa is ready to refill and add your start up chems again. its just two of us now so i just change the water seasonally.

but this keeps it so clean in between. trust me, this is worth the effort!.

I have stupidly, annoyingly sensitive skin, that means that just about anything will cause a histamine response that ruins my precious spa time. It took us some itchy and uncomfortable trial-and-error to find the perfect suite of products to keep our hot tub running at 100% and my skin blissfully free of rashes.

This product is ‘IT’ Well, at least part of the perfect solution, along with others that we buy together from Leisure Time. The DH handles all the spa maintenance so I don’t know all the details, but can say that about once a week he hauls out the water care supplies and it takes him all of 5 minutes for regular maintenance.

Usually we can enjoy the hottub within 24 hours (I know one treatment means we have to wait, but I am not sure if this is the product). Regardless, the water feels soft and soothing afterwards, just the way it should.

The clarity is perfect and the smell is nice and clean, not to strongly chemical and not at all swampy. And best of all, I haven’t had a rash from the spa in the past year since we switched products to this.

I learned long ago that just because a certain product doesn’t cause my auto-immune issues and sensitivities to flare up, doesn’t mean it will affect others the same way.

Really great product. 1st usage: I Mixed up a 5 gallon bucket, cleaned 6 out of 8 perfectly. The last 2 were really in bad shape, and I don’t think anything could get them clean, so I replaced those.

Now have 8 beautifully clean filters to rotate (my tub takes 2 filters) until they get icky enough to repeat the process in the fall. Really a great product for those who have obtained multiple sets of filters over the years.

2nd usage notes: I find that 2 filters in. 5 gal bucket takes about 1/3 of this bottle. The 5 gallon bucket will soak clean all 4 PAIRS of filters my hot tub uses 2 at a time. The second time I used this, the filters are foamy, which tells me I need to use less product.

I will also pre-rinse my filters again before putting them in the tub to get rid of the foaming problem. Still love this, still highly recommend!.

Seems to work a lot better than the other brands in the big box stores.

I use these tablets in my hottub and usually buy from Home Depot, Lowes, or Walmart. However , these stores in my area aren’t restocking these products for some reason and they cost twice as much at hottub dealer stores.

So I ordered this deal on line and got two for the price of what I’ve been paying for one.

Love the product. I’ve been using it for 2 years. This particular shipment came damaged. Both containers were busted which didn’t surprise me since they came in a shipping bag. Obviously some knew as the lids were taped back on using box tape.

Luckily I still had my old container so I dumped the new one into it.

Worked ok, just fine, or good enough. I don’t think they really re-invented the wheel with this concoction. it’s basically chlorine. What they did do though is jack up the price another $12 during a chlorine shortage.

I guess the same weirdos who stock up on toilet paper also stock up on chlorine and this seller takes advantage of the market.

I recently ordered the spa leak fix liquid product and was honestly a little skeptical. Right, just pour it in, right. However, your products and support have always been excellent and what do I have to lose vs hundreds to thousands of $ to repair replace old tub.

I just had to take a moment to thank you all for this terrific product. I have been dealing with a slow leak for several years and very frustrating especially in the winter with a hassle to get water through the snow to the tub and fear of water getting too low for the heater/circulation.

Took out the filters and turned off the heater, added as directed. Re applied a day or two later. Let run a day or two and refilled the tub. Now no more leaks. Still have spare bottle. Awesome, cannot tell you how pleased I am and how much time and money this has saved me on my old hot springs tub.

Having done work in pools along with owning one I have come to know products by ingredients. This tablet has 90% chlorine which allows quick chlorinating of your pool. You should run your pool long enough to turn water over at least once this tablet in a balance pool will do the job of sanitizing in this time frame and you can save money on your electric bill.

The Clorox pool chlorinating tablets are great! Love how easy it is to just pop open the container and get out how many tablets you need and close the lid back and it stays sealed. Very much well worth your money on buying the bigger containers because if you have a pool you will need a lot.

If your keeping on top of your hot tub this winter the 5kg chorine granules are a great purchase especially when main shops it’s out of season. Again came well boxes and clearly labelled.

These are great! but i really only use them for when I initially “shock” the water after filling up the Spa / Hot Tub after draining once a month. a couple of teaspoons seems ample. 1 KG is probably going to last be for a long time, possibly years.

Master Spa hot tubs , great results and the Master spa is easier to maintain with the right products.. Spa Boss products seem to work the best for us.

Arrived quickly but not the Clearwater brand as described and expected. Misleading but hopefully it will be as effective.
