The final product is good. I’ll say that. But putting it together was a nightmare. I took a look at ALL the pieces and ALL the hardware and I let it sit for a few days in my entryway. I hit a VERY annoying part immediately.

One of the first pieces wasn’t drilled right and there was nothing I could do about it. I didn’t want to call for a new one so I forged ahead. It caused me a lot of aggravation but what made it worse was a particular bolt wouldn’t hold – and there were two at the get go – so the first 3 pieces kept falling apart.

Things went Ok for the next couple of hours except a particular screw wouldn’t screw into a particular hole, but another one would be fine. Things like that kept happening. Then I hit the drawers. a big UGH! The little wood screws were hard to get all the way in.

Maybe I’m a weakling? At the end I went to put shelving in and I had to drill my own holes for it because they only went halfway up. All in all I’m happy I did it. Just be careful when working on it.

It scratches easily!.

I did not notice when I ordered this that the newest review was 2 years old at the time. I have a cabinet that matches the pictured cabinet and ordered this to coordinate. It is made in Thailand and is a darker cherry color than pictured.

The color was pretty but not what I expected. The hardware that came with it was sort of an old fashioned pewter instead of the stainless steel/chrome of the cabinet pictured. I was putting it in a different room from the original and attempted to put it together anyway.

Everything was in the box and one piece was slightly damaged when we unpacked things but overall extremely well packed. It took a couple of hours to get together and when we finally did one door would not catch on the magnet and one drawer stuck slightly as it went it.

You do need to assemble it on a blanket or something so you don’t mar the edges of some of the side and back pieces that did not seem as high quality as the top or the doors. It did not look bad but would not quite work without getting parts replaced of some sort but we were not sure which parts.

The door did not seem warped and the buffet was perfectly level. I let it sit overnight debating what to do and the piece smelled so bad I decided to take it back apart and return it. It smelled like it had just been stained while sitting in my house and the smell didn’t seem to dissipate much in the two days it stayed set up.

It is very pretty and I’m sure the manufacturer would have sent us parts to try and work it out. The size and design are really nice and I did love that part and hated having to return it but I just could not stand the overwhelming stain smell.

Overall I am happy with this product. I purchased it to give myself more space in a small kitchen and it is sturdy with good storage (without the removable shelf the cupboard comfortably fits my Kitchen Aid Stand Mixer which is great).

My only cons/comments are as follows – – As some other reviewers have mentioned the white isn’t pure white more of a off white slight grey color, which is fine for me, but if you are looking for pure white this isn’t it.

– The assembly was quite a challenge – the instructions were decent but we are pretty experienced with this stuff and you really need two (patient) people and a solid two hours to put it together. – The two of the six tracks for the drawers that were already attached to the sides were warped which caused two of the three drawers to stick or not go in properly (of course we didn’t realize this until we were at the last step of assembly when return was a non-option).

We were able to press one back in to place with clamps and make the other slightly better – though one drawer sticks. If you buy this product I recommend checking each of the pieces (one of our wood pieces was chipped in the corner but at the bottom so its not that noticeable) including running your hand along the drawer tracks to make sure they are smooth (we could feel the bumps in them that caused the sticking).

The dimensions are perfect for our space (I had a hard time finding a decent piece that was narrow enough and tall enough!). I must admit, after reading so many reviews on various websites about furniture items that need to be assembled, and reading about damaged pieces, nightmare (lack of good) instructions, etc.

, I was pleasantly surprised that my husband was able to assemble it in about 1. 5 hours, all pieces were there, nothing damaged or mis-aligned. (but, he is very handy – a less-talented person might have had a harder time.

) The shipping was VERY quick. The only reason I gave it 4 stars rather than 5 is that I think that for partial (mostly) manufactured product (MDF), > $300 seemed just a tad high to me. But, all in all, I’m very pleased with it and would recommend it.

I bought a second one of these cabinets to match the one I already had. They sit on either side of my kitchen window. They were just the right size and scale. The cabinets and draws increase my storage space.

Since they are in my kitchen the stainless steal tops make great sense. One top is used for my coffee maker, tea kettle etc. The other top can also get wet when I water plants, etc. All in all, a good kitchen storage solution for me.

I am so thrilled with my new cabinet. It works perfectly in my kitchen. I was worried by the reviews that I’d have trouble assembling but it was not a problem. It took approximately 1 1/2 hours. I’m a 70 year old female.

The cabinet is beautiful, the black paint is perfect. The unit is very strong and sturdy. I dont really understand the assembly reviews, I just followed the photos and instructions. You wont be sorry you ordered this!! I would definitely purchase again!! I used for appliances like crockpots etc.

I was interested that home styles is a product of Flexsteel.

For months I waited for my Piece to arrive due to COVID, I thought that nothing would be worth the wait, 6 months until Cancelling that order from a different vender, and purchasing it direct from AFW.

Within 4 days it was in my dining room and I have never experienced something so beautiful and needed in my life, It was worth the wait Exceptional storage, excellent space on the top for accessories.

Paired with a Long mirror overhead, and 2 AFW trees (1) to each side, this is the best accent piece in my home. Sturdy construction and a timeless taste to match. Highly recommended for anyone that has taste, style and values traditionalism.

I promise, you will love it ~!.

I purchased this Charmond buffet after initially purchasing the Charmond dining table and I am absolutely thrilled with the way the pieces look together in my dining area. Perfect match! Wow, wow, wow!!! I did price check with other furniture stores and the prices did not compare whatsoever with AFW! I am one very happy customer.

This item is a beautiful piece of timeless furniture that you would expect to pay thousands for. The fact that it is under $1000 is amazing. It is so much more for such an affordable piece. Very happy with this purchase.

This is not Pier 1 quality furniture. It’s cheap and flimsy. The hardware that comes with is low quality. One of the cam bolts broke during assembly. It doesn’t sit flat on the floor. The drawers are fake, just another drawer.

I’m embarrassed to have this piece with my other Pier 1 furniture. I’ve gotten better quality from Target and Wal- Mart.

I have been looking for a buffet sideboard & I remember seeing one just like this one in your McAllen Tx. store. My home is full of pier one beautiful things plus all the gifts I have given to many. I had been a Pier one shopper for over 25 years.

I picked this for our kitchen! I need something to store our dishes in as well as match our kitchen table. Plus it’s super cute!

My parents needed to replace their old Hutch and I pointed them to 1StopBedroom. com. They were up for a change, and the Versailles appealed to their desire for a brand new look. I handled the purchase, as they’re not computer savvy.

They sure were pleased once their new furniture arrived. My parents asked me to tell you in this review that they can’t get over how roomy the drawers are, how sturdy the construction, and how pretty the finish is on their Versailles Hutch.

This buffet is beautiful. I love it in my dining room. The magnetic doors do not work. There are three and all magnets are not connecting to the doors. I have been waiting for a solution for a month.

I am supposed to be getting new magnets shipped to me but they are out of stock. I’ll update my review if I ever get this settled.

I purchased this to go under my TV and it’s perfect. Plus it has a ton of storage. It has freshened up the entire room.

I was looking for a modern, dark brown cabinet and was having a hard time finding one. My only hesitation was that I would have to put it together. It took me several hours but I was doing a few steps then taking care of work, so I am not sure how much time was actually spent putting it together.

The quality of the cabinet is really good. I was worried it may be flimsy but it isn’t. None of the pieces were damaged and everything was in the box. I would definalty recommend this cabinet.

The buffet table online looked beautiful something I would add to my kitchen area however, I should have done more of my research on this item. We received the product super excited to display in the kitchen after a few hours of assembling the piece my husband I found out that a few pieces of the buffet table weren’t complete.

The top of the buffet table cut that was suppose to be on the bottom wee visisble now on the top. We are very disappointed and now we have to wait till the manufacture can reliever us the new pieces.

If we want to exchange it we would have to disassemble the table and send it back.

The buffet is made of particle board with veneer finishes but the board are thick and sturdy and the end result looks decent. I wasn’t expecting too much more than that for the decent price that the piece is being offered for.

As far as putting it together, my husband found it tedious. Other reviews had complained that the instructions were bad. He didn’t find the instructions to be all that bad, they were all pictures of how to assemble.

He did find the process of assembly very tedious.

Our buffet arrived with a badly crunched top left corner, with evidence of a gouge caused when the top was routed. It’s possible that the “corner crunch” occurred during shipping, but given the packing, we believe the buffet was shipped with the very obvious defects.

Quality control was lacking.

This piece of furniture was exactly what I was looking for and had all the options I wanted. This was a gift for my Daughter and Son in Law to thank them for caring for me for 7 months after a back injury.

They were delighted to get it. The biggest issue I have is the 3 drawers. You have to use both hands to open and close them because they stick. one of the drawers has an unsanded slide and is very rough.

I thought for the price they would have metal slides.

We needed a smaller kitchen island for an upstairs apartment that my husband and I are moving into and wanted something rather quickly. A carpenter friend of ours does gorgeous work, but we would have to wait several months for it to be completed.

I’d found this island and noted the “granite” counter top description. When the island arrived five weeks after having been ordered, I noted that the quality for the price wasn’t exactly what I thought I was going to get.

The base of it doesn’t appear to be a high end, well made piece of furniture, but it is very solid. The backs of the drawers are dovetailed, but the fronts are not. Also, the top, while being granite, is pieced granite into a solid top and is not from a solid piece, as is what I thought when I made my purchase.

Had I known when I bought it that the top was pieced together, I wouldn’t have purchased it at all. Since the movers had such a difficult time getting this very heavy piece of furniture upstairs, and did such an excellent job doing it and unboxing it and placing it, I decided to keep it.

Had I seen this in a store for this price, I never would have purchased it. It is still pretty in our space, but is not the quality you’d expect for the money paid and the time we waited. Also, a full four weeks passed between our having purchased and paid for it before I called the company to find out when we might expect delivery.

Thereafter, they were a little more diligent about letting us know what was going on with our purchase. This island is also made in Vietnam. Another point that would have influenced our purchase, had we known.

Hope this helps others with making a purchase decision.

We got the black. I really liked the taupe color, but not the white top of it. I’m so happy with it overall! It is similar to one 3x the price I was eyeing and I’m so glad I got this one. There is a small white scratch on one of the doors, but it’s only noticeable when down at door height, especially after I rubbed a smidge of sharpie along it.

We lined the cabinets with royal blue velvet and a magnetic sensor light, so it feels way more luxe than the price. Very happy overall.

The middle cabinet did not have the holes to screw in the door, requiring me to hand drill all eight holes. I noticed chips around the cabinet doors, smudged paint job, and the feet of the cabinet was not screwed incorrectly.

Unfortunately I could not get it in with my hands or with a hammer. 1. 5 hour assembly turned into my entire night. I was up so upset I could not turn back. I am not sure if I was just unfortunate and purchased one someone else returned or purchase a faulty cabinet.

This buffett/server is very well made. It is on the heavy side which makes it sturdy. It blended well with my dining table on my wood floors. It’s an awesome piece of furniture and I have gotten many compliments on it.

We were looking for an accent piece for the dining room where I could house my tea, coffee, and other misc small appliances. This checked all the boxes for us. It’s a really heavy solid piece. The wine dividers are removable which worked great for us.

Only wish they sold this with the hutch.

Delivery was prompt. Guys were careful throughout. The quality of the buffet is top notch. Personally, I installed a couple of matching bronze finish locks on the two main doors for added security.

I was drawn to this piece at first sight. The ordering and delivery went well and I was not disappointed on arrival. The finish is lovely and the color was well represented by the web images. The drawers and doors work smoothly and close securely.

Looks and feels well made.

I am a new homeowner (first time) and needed a set of furniture for my dining area. This set satisfies my needs and looks great, which is an excellent combination. This will fit all my needs with my current family (and hopefully a larger family in the future, too.

) The quality is fantastic, it is simple elegance and function and charm all in one.

This piece is awesome. Had to adjust one of the doors, but like it so much still pleased to give it a 5.

Normally I don’t put my review comment in online sites but this purchase pushed me to the frustrating limit thought of share my experience so when someone buy this dining think 100 times before buy it.

I bought this dining set 6-8 mo back for close to $2000 w/ 6 chairs. After delivery, I reliaze that it is not hard wood and finishing are so poor. The delivered furniture were scratched all over the place.

In addition to that dealing with Conns customers care/ managers very tough. They don’t deliver what they promise. I would put my money else where for sure not in conns furniture. Lesson learned!!.

We purchased this piece in September of 2021 and received it sometime in October. It’s truly a beautiful item, and the pictures don’t do it justice. However, about 2 weeks ago, I noticed a residue on the floor under it.

When we inspected it, we noticed small holes on it that weren’t there before, and some of the residue collecting on the hinges as well. We looked it up to see what it could be, and thought they were termites, which we were surprised by because our home is relatively new and our pest company comes every quarter.

While we waited for the pest company to come, we used a termite killing spray, which brought out the bugs. Once our pest company came to do their inspection, they determined we didn’t have termites, they were powder pest beetles (they don’t eat wood, they just bury into it to lay their eggs, which can remain dormant for years.

who knew?!). Anyway, we’re happy it’s not termites, and all that the pest company told us we could do is wait until the pests came out (they’re still hatching and coming out to this day) and we could spray to get rid of them quicker.

I reached out to see if we could exchange this, but all we got were sympathies for the inconvenience. We were not expecting that out of a company founded by Chip and Jo, but this may be a more common occurrence than we had expected.

This experience has become a lesson for us to buy furniture that is beautiful AND less expensive, in the case that an inconvenience like powder pest beetles occurs and damages the product, so that it’s more easily replaceable.

It’s a shame that it’s such a nice console, we really thought it was a piece for life. You can’t go wrong with the looks, but definitely have to consider the risk of this quality issue happening to you and whether it’s worth it or not.

I waited a long time to make this purchase and looked around quite a bit. I found that this was the same cabinet sold at Pottery Barn, but is cheaper! Amazing! The only issue I have is that the doors are difficult to open.

The small metal handles are hard to grip with your fingers and you really have to get a good grip and give it a tug to open them. I finally pulled the trigger and made the purchase, and the same day my air conditioning went out at home.

We knew we would need to replace the whole HVAC because it was ancient, and I really wished I had waited on this big furniture buy. I contacted customer service within several hours of placing my order asking if I could cancel.

I was told it was too late, the item was already processed and on a truck (which, come on, that’s impossible). In short, love the piece – which customer service had been more accommodating so that I could have waited a month or two to purchase.

Hard to figure out how many stars due to this being more of a lower rating more due to the delivery company Coleman uses. The Sideboard itself is very nice. The description is correct on the website.

The handles to open the cabinets are small and make it slightly difficult to open the door but I do not mind since I like the look. There are removable shelves inside and the back has 2 hidden holes to allow wires to go through which is really nice.

The company Point2Point that Coleman Furniture uses was horrible! They rescheduled with me 5 times! They were rude on the phone and just had excuse after excuse. Melissa at Coleman was wonderful and did her best to get it delivered but Point2Point continued to have issues even with her help.

In summary, the furniture piece in itself is great! I love it! The experience I had to actually get the piece, horrible.
