10 Best Chicken Seasoning To Buy (2023 Updated)

I like that the fact that you get a good amount of seasoning for a decent price. I bought this product hoping that it taste like the Perfect Pinch Rotisserie Chicken seasoning but it did not. Both of these chicken seasonings are made by McCormick but they do not taste the same to me.

The Perfect Pinch Chicken Seasoning taste better so I was disappointed in that respect. The Perfect Pinch Chicken Seasoning has a milder taste than this product. Some people may prefer the stronger/spicier taste of this seasoning over the milder taste of the Perfect Pinch.

I prefer the milder taste over the stronger taste. I gave the okay rating because of my preference so I can’t condemn this product. I know this review is long but I hope it will help someone to make an informed decision.

Solid background seasoning when you need a lot of rub. It’s got a mild heat to it, and adds a lot of flavor for a low price point. Useful for far more than chicken. If you’re going to use it for actual rotisserie chicken, I’d suggest blending some with a few tbsps of corn starch and one of sugar.

My husband loves the flavor. Even puts it on his salad to just give it a slight up swing taste. I like it too. Chicken is great but pork, beef and lamb- goes very well.

This chicken seasoning is useful in soups, gravies, pastas, etc. I think this flavoring is not quite as good as some of the soup bases in that you have to use a good amount to get the same level of flavor intensity – however, buying it in the bulk sizes at super prices means you can use more.

I absolutely love making homemade soups and stews so this chicken seasoning is as essential as the the soup bases.

When I think of poultry seasoning, I normally think sage-heavy with thyme and a supporting cast of other herbs. This blend is very thyme heavy and has significantly less safe than I expected. It IS very good, but not a ‘standard’ flavor profile for poultry seasoning.

I had to add a lot of ground sage to get my turkey seasoning blend just right.

I typically mixed my own blends but decided to give this a try based on other reviews. It’s really aromatic a nice blend of spices for poultry dishes. It adds a nice flavor to soups and stews too! Five ounces will last a while and you can’t beat the price either!.

This has become my favorite spice blend. I do use it on chicken, but it’s good on many other things. Making jerky is a snap with it as a spice too. Just buy the thin sliced beef, usually a cheap cut.

Put about a half cup of soy sauce in a seal-able container, add a tablespoon or three of the kick’n chick’n, then shake it up. Add in the beef and let it set overnight. Dehydrate the next day. Yum.

We purchased the Weber’s Gourmet Burger seasoning last year for the first time. This seasoning is perfect for burgers! We use it often and it’s a go to seasoning for that purpose. The taste is tangy with a combination of salt, chili pepper, and onion.

I don’t think the onion flavor is too strong though. I think it’s versatile and could be used for other meats like chicken. I do recommend it!.

I decided to try this seasoning based on the awesome reviews. Not sure if I got a bad batch or if my taste buds are just wayyy different than those of the other reviewers. I had this on roasted red potatoes and it was quite bland except for a very strong bitter garlic flavor.

I love garlic, but I was disappointed in it being bitter and lacking additional flavors. There was no tangy taste as other reviewers mentioned. I can’t imagine that I didn’t use enough seasoning with how much garlic flavor there was.

Maybe it was just a fluke, but I’ll keep searching for a “go to” garlic seasoning.

I recently discovered this product and it’s delicious! It works well on many different types of meats although they specified chicken. It does contain quite a bit of salt and sodium though so be mindful of that, but overall a great buy!.

Bought the Jack Daniel’s #7 Dry Rub for my baby back ribs. I had a gathering at my home of 10 people. Grilled the baby backs slathered with copious amounts of the JD #7 , 2. 5 hours on the grill and they were tasty and falling off the bones.

Finished with my homemade sweet bbq sauce and needless to say the rub was the key to lightly spicy ribs. Everyone at the party wanted the recipe for the ribs. Jack Daniel’s #7 I told everyone , that was the magic.

I liked this, it has a nice variety of spices and gave our grilled hamburgers good flavor. My decision to purchased this was governed by the fact it’s organic and made here in the US. I can’t afford to buy everything organic, but I feel good about making as many choices as I can.

And I’m glad Swanson is now carrying the Watkins brand, I will be back for more.

After using this spice on our barbecued chicken a while ago it’s the only spice we use now. No other products came close to the great flavour it adds to chicken. Highly recommend this product!

I will definitely buy this again. I just sprinkled a little on chicken breast, chicken wings and thighs. So much flavour and a little goes a long way.

Lawry’s All Purpose seasoning is the best. You can pretty much put this on anything to give it a perfect flavor. I usually use this on chicken, burgers, steak, etc. The cost is affordable and average compared to other seasonings.

I wouldn’t use anything else on my chicken! I use this when preparing chicken tacos and the flavor is like no other. I also like to use Lawry’s regular seasoned salt on a lot of my dishes, especially fried potatoes, they come out so tasty and yummy.

Lawry’s is a staple in my spice cabinet.

Good chicken seasoning. I make the best fried chicken if you ask a lot of people. lol I find it very helpful to not over power this seasoning. It is best to season the flour with this and use the lawrys original season salt to season your meat with.

My overall experience using this product has been truly magical and just down right ******* fantastic. I love the name, the taste, and size of the bottle. I can just whip this **** out, out it on chicken or anything else I feel like it and.

Used the Willie Pete for the first time last night on some chicken breast on the grill. Really added some great flavor that my wife and I both really enjoyed. The spice adds that perfect amount of flavor to enhance the meat.

Does not over power the chicken. Highly recommend. This was our first purchase and use of GYAO products. We look forward to trying some of the other spice blends.

Heard about these guys from the Drinking Bros Podcast and wanted to support a veteran owned company. Willie Pete is the best damn seasoning you will ever try. Just enough Garlic to not be over powering but just enough to give you that full body of flavor.

The texture of the rub when it is done cooking is the standout, it is the perfect consistency and offers a great bite for you to sink your teeth into.

When I received the seasoning mixes, I had just learned that my husband and I have elevated blood pressure and need to reduce our sodium intake. I was bummed about this because all I could think of was the “nasty” salt-free foods my mom used to have to eat when I was younger and I did not want to have to eat like that for the rest of my life! Well, I must say, the first night, I used the Less Sodium Montreal Chicken Seasoning and it was absolutely delicious! I was pleasantly surprised.

The next night, I made tacos using the Less Sodium Taco mix and my family devoured them. My husband, the grill king, used the Black Garlic Parmesan Seasoning Mix to some ground beef and let it set for a couple of hours prior to putting a few burgers on the grill, topped them with the creamy mustard and those were some of the best burgers we’ve had.

This McCormick Grill Mates 25% Less Sodium Montreal Chicken Seasoning was great for my chicken wings, chicken tacos, etc. Lower sodium is always a benefit because I can pay attention to my blood pressure and heart health.

Some seasoning brands can be notorious for tasting too salty. I just want a good flavor to my meat – I can do w/o the uptake in sodium levels. I found that this McCormick Seasoning offers the perfect balance of a mild/smooth taste along w/ lower sodium levels.

We are big fans of McCormick’s Montreal Steak seasoning so getting the chance to try a chicken version was very exciting! We split boneless skinless chicken breasts and liberally sprinkled the Montreal Chicken seasoning on both sides.

Then the grill master worked his magic grilling the chicken to perfection. The seasoning complimented the chicken well and was a hit with the family. I like the boldness of the spices which are strong enough that the slight less salt is not even noticed.

I plan to sprinkle this seasoning over roasted potatoes and other vegetables as well.

Such a delicious seasoning. My family enjoys the seasoned vegetables even more than the meat (which is wonderful). Question: Would the season bag work with only vegetables and no meat? And any recommendations if a firm tofu replaced the meat?.

I’ve tried this a handful of times since McCormick discontinued my family’s favorite (Country Style Chicken in Bag). My family will eat this flavor but, they certainly don’t request it and they don’t jump on any leftovers like they did for the Country Style.

Best thing about it is that they tolerate it and it is easy to do.

On a whim I bought this to try and it’s sooo GOOD ! I fry a lot. Household of boys here. This leaves A nice breading around the meat. You’ll notice it has a decent amount of spice for the perfect kick.

I fried my chicken livers for a po boy sandwich and it was DELICIOUS.

I love this product! I’ve used it on chicken and for pork chops! It’s always performed perfectly for me and the spicy coating knocks my socks off every time!

Andy’s chicken seasoning , i can not do with out it in my pantry. i use it on fish, chicken, deer meat , ground turkey patties, onions, it has just the right spice and breading. HEB does not have it any more so i ordered it from Walmart.
