WOW! I just discovered this on Amazon and I am in LOVE! This + an air fryer is a quick way to get restaurant style fried chicken at home! I also use this on shrimp and pork chops! I have already purchased this twice after discovering it 60 days ago.

This has a lovely mildly spicy flavor. If you are doing fried chicken, I would suggest seasoning your chicken with a pinch of salt and pepper first and then using this according to the instructions. This stuff is so yummy! Cannot go wrong!.

I substitute this for flour when making fried chicken. Pound out the breast, coat in louisiana chicken fry, egg, then panko. Most amazing taste, crispy on the outside. Omg is all I can say. On amazon this is priced at around $10.

However check your local family dollar or dollar general, I snag this baby up for a $1 a bag.

We love the new packaging as it easily fits in the freezer. We use them two or three times a week on the grill or in stir fry. They defrost easily in the refrigerator which is ideal for quick meals. We always keep well stocked on them! Love them!.

The chicken is fresh and lovely but I wish I knew how much was in each pouch. I defrosted one and it had one very large breast and one very small breast but there was no way to know that ahead of time.

So my recipe was a bit off.

The chicken is great, but it will be the last time I order. The shipping costs are astronomical if you live on the west coast. First, they said the cost was higher due to the hot weather and having to ship it faster.

The cost would go down when the weather cooled off. But it didn’t, and I was told it would stay at that high rate permanently. I was also told it was to cover the cost of over night air, which wasn’t true.

The package is ground shipped, actually driven, to the west coast. It’s just a way for them to raise their shipping costs to an unbelievable amount and try to justify it to customers.

Yes! This stuff is the BEST! When I actually deep fry my chicken tenders this is the only breading I use. It is very powder like and makes a nice light coating on your chicken tenders. I do not deep fry often, I try to stay away from any extra oil that I can.

However, every once in a while you just get a craving for a real fried chicken tender. When you do, this is the breading to use. Frying tenders tip: remove tendons from chicken strips using fork, soak tenders in whole buttermilk overnight, bread with House Autry chicken breading (one at a time), and fry in high heat(350-400) blended oil.

I use a canola oil blend. Blended hot oil is the key. Fry until internal temp is at least 165F. Enjoy. You’re welcome. 🏆.

This is the best breading for fried chicken or veggies! I had a delicious flavor. This breading makes the pretties chicken, nice golden brown retains the juicy chicken inside while keeping a crunchy coating outside.

My husband and I both were unimpressed with this chicken served with the gravy it came with. It was edible but not good, and was too salty. We ate the chicken with some Great Value country gravy (from a packet) and it was a much better experience.

Do yourself a favor and toss the gravy mix it comes with and use a better mix if you want chicken/country fried chicken.

I normally buy the Tyson spicy chicken patties but they were out of stock. I decided to try these and I regret it. The gravy is nasty first and foremost but I didn’t expect it to taste good. However, while I was eating one of the chicken patties, I bit into many pieces which appear to be bone fragments.

Needless to say I am traumatized. I threw the rest of the bag away and I will never buy this again.

I wonder why so many people compare these Tyson chicken STRIPS to McD’s NUGGETS? McDs nuggets are 100% white meat chicken, so any comparison references as such are far off in left field. And you’re referencing restaurant prepared nuggets verses frozen tenders from a grocery that will need be home prepared.

Tyson chicken strips have always been “very peppery”, which isn’t fair to people not able to tolerate that added spice, which can burn the tongue. Tyson doesn’t offer a “non-pepper” version. The Tyson strips are difficult to bite into and chew, even when cut into bite size pieces.

The grain of the meat has always been off, making each tender tough to bite into and then chew – some pieces moreso than others. We prepared three bags exactly as bag directed, then served to others.

Not one person was able eat an entire tender without pulling tough chicken out of each tender, or dumping out of mouth into their napkins. The tenders smelled delicious while cooking, which was the extent of deliciousness.

The breading is thick in areas – clumpy, actually, which causes spots of rock hardness when cooked accordingly to directions. I couldn’t have been more thorough in following the bag’s preparations. Sincerely, Granny.

purchased countless times for its flavor, freshness and QUANTITY AND SIZE PIECES. HOWEVER, this last bag purchased this month i got more nugget sized pieces than the regular medium to JUMBO pieces – and paid more money for the bag!!! inflation, yes, realize but this is extreme! nuggets? for toddlers! i don’t have kids in my household.

I have been buying this product for more than a decade. In the last several years the product quality has not been at all good. In the beginning these chicken strips were top shelf quality. I am not sure why I keep giving your company another chance but, I am one who absolutely wants to give big companies and the mom and pop businesses the benefit of the doubt.

There is so much grizzle and chicken body junk in your strips I end up spitting out more into the trash than I could possibly swallow in my meal. Your corporate motto should be “try our chicken parts”.

Crunchy chicken breast strips are tasty! I’ve been a long time customer of Foster Farms chicken products. I think they’re probably the best option in the frozen chicken game. A close 2nd is Purdue chicken products.

These are big strips of white/breast meat that has not been chopped and formed into uniform.

I like this phone. I’ve wanted one for quite some time now. Normally when that happens I’ve liked it so long that it’s not worth getting the phone by the time I can afford it. That’s not true in this case.

Hard to get crispy in an air fryer, and even after you manage they’re weirdly flavorless even for plain chicken strips. Seasoning consists of flour and too much salt, can’t even have pepper. I prefer the store brand and it’s not even close.

I wasn’t familiar with tenderloins but I bought them only bc Sam’s was out of chicken breasts. They were a hit from the start and only then did I read that tenderloins have more flavor and are juicier than the main breasts hence the higher cost.

Regardless, it’s always the best price at Sam’s. Tip – you’re supposed to cut off the tendon nub that sticks out of the tenderloin, but any tendon that remains in the meat will cook to paperthin and unnoticeable so no need to remove.

Don’t know if I’ll ever go back to buying chicken breasts again.

Upon recommendation from my sister, we bought the Members Mark chicken tenders. (I had been buying a different brand from a grocery store). I baked them according to package directions, but they were so tough we couldn’t hardly chew them.

One tender was fine, very tender and moist, but the rest were awful. We had to throw them out and fix something else to eat. I was so disappointed ! I’m hoping this was just a “bad batch”.

The first time I cooked them was in the oven. Used a recipe for the best oven fried chicken tenders. Well, I rated the outcome a 0! They were not crunchy and tough. The second time: I made up a recipe and fried them.

They came out crunchy and very tender. Everybody loved them and had seconds. Kept saying this is a good meal and these tenders are delicious! I ate the left over between a homemade biscuit. The chicken was no longer crunchy but still tender and delicious!.

First time I ordered these boneless chicken breasts they were delicious. I received several huge pieces of boneless chicken breasts. So I ordered it again but this time I received 3 big boneless chicken breasts and the rest of the chicken were in pieces.

Several Little pieces of chicken. I was disappointed.

I always go to Perdue because no other product seems as good to me. They are so fresh and cut how I like. I buy other brands, only when they are are out of stock. I trust this brand the most. I plan my whole shopping trip to purchase sometimes.

The value is just right. If you open up my freezer Predue is everywhere. I will always recommend and continue to buy.

Did someone say Chicken cutlets? This is perfectly sliced for that. Always fresh and tender. Cooks quickly for those in a hurry. I always pick up two packages so I have leftovers for easy meals for a few days.

Tyson crispy chicken strips used to be my favorite, now I can’t eat them. There is a new “breading” (crumbles like sand and has a terrible unknown cardboard like taste). The chicken is also new and I’m not sure I can prove it is chicken (at least most of it).

You would be lucky to get half of the bag to taste and chew like chicken, but mostly it’s a strange, snappy when bitten into meatlike substance that resembles what I can only describe as an overcooked sausage type material.

The taste is also indescribable. I don’t remember how many years ago that it was changed from the original recipe that was almost addicting it was so good, but I have tried it maybe once a year for at least 3 years hoping it was back to the original only to be disappointed.

I will never try them again, nor will I buy any other Tyson products. Furthermore, when I see someone in a store with them in their cart I let them know exactly what they are in for. Goodbye Tyson!.

I thought there were a bunch of smaller pieces of breaded chicken in the bottom of the bag. No, only breading. A third of the bag had these chickenless pieces. There were some huge pieces of chicken in there which you’d think would be a good thing.

They had so much breading they didn’t cook all the way through making them mushy inside. Cooking more dried it out. Very disappointing. I will not buy again. I tried adding photo but keep receiving a error message.

Disappointed. What looks like large breaded chicken strip is really small bits of chicken with a thick breading. Sometimes when taking a bite you will hit a piece of chicken that is tough and grissely.

Like the rubbery part that connects the meat to the bone. The breading will be crisp in one bite and soggy in the next. All depending on the thickness. Do not like biting into a piece of chicken and gagging.

I will still buy Tyson products. Just not this one.

I love this brand since I was a kid to now, I do know they change their recipe and it took abit for me to get use to. Though the flavor is still immaculate, I adore this brand and basically only seek this brand on shelves.

Once it’s cooked to the right temperature and even paired with certain food items like mash potatoes or fries you choose up to your taste it’s top tier. Love the spices and the crispness you can achieve with this brand amazing aftertaste.

Actually not a bad choice for a fast go to meal or snack without a lot of hassle and clean up. Savory flavor and it’s a healthier choice being chicken anyways. The breading not so much but it’s a package deal for the meal.

My son loves his chicken which is, I think, better than the alternative fast food choices. We tend to try and stay away from a lot of fried foods. Keeping healthy choices are our personal preference, although we may occasionally eat out.

I took frozen pieces of chicken out for my husband and preheated oven to 425. I sprinkled some olive oil on each side of tenderloins the sprinkled lightly with salt,pepper,thyme and paprika on both sides.

I lined a pan with oven proof paper and placed chicken in pan. Baked for 25 mins. Hubby said chicken was moist and tender so big win. I don’t eat animal protein for health reasons else I’m sure I would have enjoyed these as well!!.

I recently tried these tenders just to see how they were. I was so pleasantly surprised! These are delicious. They are fresh tasting and NOT breaded. Had been purchasing fresh ones at the grocery store and these totally are of equal taste and freshness as they come frozen.

Convenient as well, you just defrost what you need. And value? Yes. Price-wise you probably double product for the same price as fresh grocery store tenders. Definite five-star!.

Love to make these! I have a 1-year-old and not much time on some days, so these make my life easier. I just throw these on the skillet with either a little Pam spray or butter, some garlic powder, onion powder and a little salt or chicken flavored Knorr, and voila ! easy, fast and taste yummy.

These are delicious, full of Buffalo Chicken Spice/flavor, tender, and ALL white meat! We are addicted. In fact, these are now my “go to” chicken dinner. I cook these in my Air Fryer (directions for re-heating in your Air Fryer or MicroWave are on the package) for a total of about 24 mins, and serve it with an bag of assorted Romaine Lettuce, and low fat Ranch, Blue Cheese, or Italian dressing and it tastes like a Buffalo Chicken salad from a restaurant! Delicious BUT SPICY! In fact, these are numbered on the package as a “2” between Mild & Hot/Spicy and honestly, these taste more like the 3.

VERY spicy and hot but delicious all the same. I tame it with salad dressing and it does the job.

I had high hopes for these. They looked really nice frozen and even coming out of the air fryer. However eating them reveals the terrible chicken inside. Grisly, chewy and basically inedible. The coating was decent however.

Why can these companies not put out a piece of chicken that is edible? One of the patties had this weird gelatinous goo inside of it. It would move around but not drip. I almost vomited.

I’m not typically inclined to review a grocery item, but these are good enough to motivate me. I was hesitant to purchase them, but when I saw the air fryer instructions I figured it was worth a shot.

I was concerned that they would be some sort of processed patty; they are not. These are full chicken breasts, just flattened out to cook evenly. If you’ve ever made your own fried chicken breasts like this at home, you are likely familiar with this, so not a big deal.

The taste is very much like a Wendy’s spicy chicken sandwich, maybe a little bit spicier. If you have little kids it might be too much for them, but if you like a good spicy chicken sandwich, this is an excellent option.

These are a main staple and versatile for different dishes. They don’t have a long cook time and can even be put in the air fryer! I use these chicken tenders as a topper for salad and other quick recipes.

Delicious but expensive! I was told Bell and Evans is a top shelf chicken brand and I believe it! You can taste the quality. This doesn’t taste like frozen food. Once it’s out of the oven it actually tastes like you cooked it yourself.

Unfortunately you only get 2 or 3 tenders in a box (though they are large).

I haven’t tried the chicken breast (in the freezer), but had their thighs. and came out baked to perfection. Amazing!! The taste, and freshness are great like you taste the good quality and care. I stumbled upon these at my local GreenAcres health food store, and to be honest I dislike the price although I’m justifying it.

My family and I eat a clean diet (that includes pizza) but I want to make sure we are getting quality food. Tonight I’m making panko breaded chicken tenders using Smart Chicken.

It’s comforting that they don’t use animal by products in their feed or use antibiotics. It’s less for me to worry about considering I struggle hard with cooking and have a HUGE fear of undercooking chicken and making my whole family sick.

smart chicken in my opinion is the best chicken brand out there. The chicken is always tender and juicy and never dry compared to other brands that are natural. This chicken is just plain delicious and you’re missing out if you haven’t tried it yet.

I’m not really sure how some people say this chicken is soggy. You must not have it to the correct temperature, because all of the chicken I cooked after following the directions is crispy and not dry.

It does not taste fatty nor is flavorless than most frozen chicken strips. This and the Good and Gather popcorn chicken are very tasteful, just different size chicken pieces. The only downfall of this chicken, as well as the popcorn chicken, is there is something within them that gives you BAD gas.

The day after is always the worst as all you can smell is chicken being released from your butt. It is not just me that this happens to, so I know I’m not the only one. This is something that I’m surprised isn’t mentioned in any of these reviews.

If you and the whole family eat this, the day after prepare to have your house filled with awful gas odors. Tastes great going in, but not on the way out. Have some gas-x extreme on hand or pepto bismol, because it’s a nasty aftermath.

Either a spice or the breading has a gas reactor that causes your stomach to go haywire moving through your intestines. I will have to do my research and see. I finished the last bag today just to get it out of the fridge without wasting it and throwing it out, so I know tomorrow will be gas day, thankfully it is the weekend and not a work day.

If my coworkers smelled what was being released from my butt, I would get extremely judged about what I was eating, or someone may even report a gas leak in the building. It’s those silent going out but deadly dispersed smelling farts that will clear a whole room.

Have toilet paper stocked and fabreze nearby just in case. Again, if you want some decent tasting fried chicken, then this is definitely worth the price. Great for wraps or just eating with a dip. I would recommend, but just beware of the aftereffect.

I don’t know how this could have happened at Target where you take a great product and change it to the worst. I tried this when it first came out months ago and had it almost every day because it was so good.

Back then, the pieces were smaller too, and I didn’t have to cut them up to put them in salads/wraps etc. Since about three months ago, the strips became much larger in size, and I saw the grey substance that you use to join the meat.

The taste became awful to the point of not tasting like chicken anymore, but more like cheap deep-fried fish fillets. If I gave them to somebody else without telling them what meat they were, I don’t think they would have said chicken.

I bought one for the last time about a month ago to see if the quality had improved, but there was the same awful fish-like taste to them, and the size of the pieces was still too large. So I had one bite and had to throw them out because they tasted too awful.

I don’t think I will buy these again unless they return the product to initial quality and change the packaging too to show it.

This is the 3rd time I have bought these chicken strips because they are SO good. These are big chicken breasts that I cook in the oven and either serve on a bun or with a salad and vegetable for a meal.

I have also used them cut up and served them in a big salad once cold. They have a light coating (like breading but thinner) that has a mild flavor which is good as it’s not hot, tangy or too full of spice that my husband doesn’t like but it they have a unique flavor to them.

They are totally real white meat chicken breast meat and plenty of meat little coating. Once cooked they are delicious a little crisp and taste great. I like that we can use what we need and put the rest back in the freezer for another time great for just a couple, One breast is enough to full up a grown hungry man these are that big.

These are better than any name brand that I have tried.
