I bought this yesterday from local shop at the mall that was set up exclusively for Christmas. I tried to buy online a few weeks ago but it was sold out. So glad the shop at the mall had these amazing original cheese balls in their store.
I grew up on these and every year during Christmas my mom would bring a few of these home and we would snack on them for Christmas Eve with our big family. Ugh the memories! I try to buy these every year at Christmas. They are a family favorite. My goal is to have enough to freeze, at least until Easter. There are so few available, and when I can get some are eaten so quickly that they never make it to the freezer.

I’ll admit I was a bit skeptical when I placed my order. After all, ordering “fresh” cheese curd from another state makes one wonder how it will remain FRESH. I was still dubious when my order arrived and I opened it but I decided to stay open-minded.
I put 2 of the bags into the fridge and left 1 out on the counter to “warm up” as I prefer my cheese curd at room temperature. I checked the bag from time to time to see if it was where I wanted it and about 3 hours later, I decided to open it up for a taste.
The first thing I noticed was there was a little liquid in the bottom of the bag – a GOOD thing because that’s a freshness sign! I took out a piece and bit it and I was in HEAVEN!!! The SQUEAK was amazing and the flavor divine! Needless to say, that first bag didn’t last very long! It was THAT good! I even recommended it to a friend who also asked a boatload of questions because she’d heard that cheese curd from “other states” wasn’t good and she didn’t want to waste her money! The cheese curd is amazing. I’ve tried getting it local, but it’s never squeaky or as good as this was. I grew up in upstate NY near a small cheese plant and used to get fresh curd scooped straight from the bin.
Oh my that was good. Unless you are right there at the time of processing it, this is the best I’ve found that even comes close. The tip about microwaving for a few seconds makes it even more wonderful.

The curds arrived in a timely manner. All the cheeses in the boxes were warm, but the included note said that was normal. Curd was VERY salty. I microwaved a small plate of it as the website suggested, but I detected little “squeakiness”, which is the best part of curds.
I’m not a “fried curd” fan, and this stuff just wasn’t good. Took a couple of bites and threw the rest away. Did the same for the “Garlic and Dill Curds” I’d ordered. Very disappointed with the curd.

very good port wine cheese. excellent with club crackers, only I disliked is it isn’t available at the perryville Missouri store , which is where I live, so I have to pick up some when I visit an hour away at another walmart.

Good product. Nice quality cheese. It’s a mix of two types. The bag is rather small, it’s only enough for one pizza, or maybe two pizzas if you go very easy on the cheese. Pay attention to how many ounces this is for your recipes.
A bit expensive for the quantity, but I suppose it’s justified because it’s a better brand. ￼ I would repurchase if on sale.

Let’s get real with this review, Tillamook Shreds used to be￼ my favorite go to cheese product. I grew up eating this product. I used it for years. It was amazing then a few years ago Tillamook re-branded and changed the recipe to keep it from clumping in the bag.
The cheese is the same, but they started adding potato starch, and it’s so obvious. ￼This completely changed the overall flavor for me and it went from being a staple (3 bags a week) to non existent in my fridge.
I’m giving it two stars because I will use it in a pinch. But it’s just not as nice. I wish Tillamook would make an option for those who don’t want potato starch in their cheese shreds. ￼￼￼What’s worse is I have yet to find a replacement /:

I had a hard time convincing myself that buying this pulled pork was worth the price, but I made the decision to try it after missing good BBQ. Shipping was very fast. And cooking it was extremely easy! I wish I read the directions on how to cook the first day, because I didn’t realize i needed 3 hrs so I had to wait a day to cook.
