I was skeptical about this cheese due to the cost but it was the last pre-shredded mozzarella on the shelf and I decided to give it a try. You can absolutely see and taste the difference in quality in this cheese.
It tasted great and melted even better. This was a major upgrade from the crappy Good & Gather brand I was going for. If you can afford it, I’d definitely recommend this cheese. It is quite expensive though, so I probably won’t be buying it regularly.
This was a pretty good cheese for homemade pizza. It melted well and wasn’t plastic like which some shredded cheese can be. Tillamook makes a good product but it’s very expensive for 8 oz. wouldn’t have bought if it wasn’t on sale.

I did have a weird taste when I used too- much almost starchy? But after looking at the ingredients it does make sense for the starchy taste because the third ingredient is made of modified food starch.

I trust President brand and often buy their cheese. Feta is just amazing! Crazy about it. Pleasant saltiness and nice texture. You can cut it in cubes for your Greek salad, slice thinly for your sandwich or just shred it on your plate.
The cheese was MUSHY. Extremely soft and mushy. I’ve tasted different kinds/types of feta but nothing of this consistency. It was borderline cream cheese and lacking in flavor. I returned it to the store for a refund.

I don’t know if these positive reviewers haven’t ever had cheese or if it’s been too long but. having a dairy allergy I try different cheeses whenever I can to find the best/closest to real cheese. I put a corner of this cheese in my mouth and it tasted like pure blood.
I tried to keep it in my mouth and chew it but it was the worst thing I’ve ever had and I physicallyhad to spit it out. I couldn’t believe how vile the taste was that came from that small piece? You can all find a WAY better alternative than this.
I’m allergic to dairy so I’ve tried all the vegan cheeses. This is my favorite sliced cheese brand. I cut this cheese into smaller squares and make charcuterie boards for myself and love the taste and texture.
I also love making sandwiches and burgers using this cheese. I don’t have an issue with the cheese melting although I’ve heard others say they did. I find this brand at Publix or Walmart for reference.
I had to write a review because when I first tried this cheese cold it was awful! But somehow HEATING it up changed the flavor and it’s actually pretty good for a dairy free cheese. We made grilled cheese and it does have a similar cheddar taste even though it is lighter.

But you slice in half the variety of Cherry tomatoes, shave most of the skin off a fancy cucumber and slice in quarters, add shaved red onion, Kamala olives, and fresh dill in a bowl.
