I was contemplating on which cold air intake brand I should get for my 2021 GMC Sierra 5. 3L 1500. But after doing research I decided to go with cold air inductions due to there great reviews and videos.

I received the cold air intake within days the quick delivery from Summit racing was unexpected. The product was exactly as described 20- 30 min install, and I felt the performance different immediately.

I believe it really enhance my flow master exhaust system. I would recommend this company and there products.

I installed it on my 2020 Silverado trail boss 5. 3. It was very easy to install! I like that you can see the filter. So you an see when it’s getting dirty. I don’t know how much power I gained. But the truck feels more responsive in passing.

Excellent product that works as advertised. Noticeable gain in horsepower/torque and throttle response. It also sounds great as an added bonus. Easy install don’t look anymore because this in my opinion is the only true option for real gains from a cold air intake.

I love the look. Too bad the adhesive does not last very long. I have had to reattach it several times. I attached it to a new and clean surface. It’s been on my car for 3 1/2 years and is beginning to deteriorate.

Would I buy it again. Yes, because I like the look very much. I would use an adhesive such as Goop the very first attachment.

Wanting to enhance the look of my vehicle, I decided to purchase the EZ Lip for my front bumper. It’s important to follow the instructions of cleaning the bumper with alcohol and making sure it’s free of dirt before applying.

I started from the left to the right and applying it slowly around the bumper area and then making sure I was pressing to prevent any bubbling. Once I reach to the end of the right side, I just cut the extra portion off with a scissor and that was it.

So easy! I then applied Armor All to give it some sheen and that was it, it was so easy to put on. But it’s important to make sure the under area of your bumper is clean and you follow the instructions.

Now, I’m considering of applying it to the sides of my car but for the most part, this purchase was well worth-it, easy to put on and made my car look awesome! Recommended!.

It appears that the serious sim racers first action after buying a new wheel is to look for and install a larger wheel. Rigs like the Fanatec Club Sport wheelbase (a very expensive toy at well over $500.

00) come with no wheel at all. Those wheels that are available from Fanatec are close to, if not the exact size as the wheel car wheels. Most all the other products all come with smallish wheels. Many owners retrofit their somewhat toy-like wheels with larger wheels with adapters and such.

The reason for wanting to do this is pretty simple. Maximizes leverage. The larger diameter wheel make your work to steer the sim car much easier and more precise. That is opinion of the reason for a larger wheel.

Which brings us to this wheel add-on for Thrustmaster. I bought the T300 which came equipped with a smallish wheel. The wheelbase is great, but the wheel itself is too dang small. After reading many reviews, I bought this wheel add-on.

The diameter of this wheel is 300mm which is some size as some of the MoMo wheels designed for cars. The stock T300 wheel is noticeably smaller. Right out of the box, the wheel size and added weight are the first thing you notice.

The increased weight, in concert with the FFB motors in the wheelbase gives a more realistic feel of the sim car and wheel reacting to the road conditions and car physics. The added diameter decreases the amount of force you, the driver, exerts on the wheel, which will smooth out your driving, which in turn adds to your performance.

The Alcantara covering aids in long or short races by addressing sweat and giving you much more grip without the need to put a death grip on the wheel. The paddles are crisp and precise and not to loud.

Positive reaction of the paddles makes rapid up and down shifting is effortless. The stock T300 wheel is fine and good. But this wheel will make a difference in what can do in the race. Sure, if all you do is toy around now and then with a racing title, then the stock wheel will do nicely.

However, if you want to make some gains and increase your standings, you need to consider something like this wheel add-on for your Thrustmaster wheelbase.

Nice wheel, not as small as the Ferrari Italia 458. Much nicer feel with the alcantara versus sticky rubber on 458. Bought this to troubleshoot if my wheel or base was broken. Turns out the base needs replaced.

Seems to be a very common problem with TM products. Not satisfied with the brand. Every time I tried to use with racing games on X Box One, the wheel loosens and comes off the base, even though I had the force feedback setting at 65%, and had it mounted and tightened with the screw per TM manual directions.

Just overall poor design of the base. I expect a lot better for $300.

I recently purchased a Pioneer All-in-one Radio Replacement and Steering Wheel control for my GMC truck. The radio looks great and has lights that illuminate when the radio is turned on. My phone rings through the radio and I can speak to the phone caller through the speaker.

This is an asset since we have a new law preventing the holding of a cell phone while operating a vehicle. The system also has Bluetooth which makes it possible for me to enjoy music from my flash drive.

Includes everything needed to hookup to my ’08 Tundra with JBL. Unlike another product I won’t mention here, this includes everything you need. One connector doesn’t want to stay connected, but once you get it in position and confirm it’s in all the way, it shouldn’t come back out.

Retained steering wheel controls, and communicates with the radio unit. That’s all I needed.

This is a good kit. The 1 less star (I HOPE it saves someone’s life) Is for the “lack” of antenna adapter for the vehicle. I was under the impression, when this kit was purchased included EVERYTHING.

Turned out that the parts list online and manual were “false”, not like PAC has to care or cater to the customer (grunt) When my installer called in the middle of the install, yeah I had to get a antenna adapter made by Metro.

I bought an Xbox OneX and a Thrustmaster GT cockpit 458 Italia wheel/pedal set to play Forza7. It’s a great game and I like the Xbox (my 3rd) BUT the wheel is NOT full size. What that means is that there is very little room between the paddle shifters and the wheel rim.

The problem is when the wheel re-centers it can easily catch your fingers, which hurts (think product liability). SO, I ordered the Sparco R383 Mod wheel which is full size and said to be a direct replacement for the fake Ferrari wheel for $200.

Well it DOESN’t Work with the TX base on an box One. The firmware upgrade, at the time of this writing, is only for the PC. Mapping is completely off and I had to use the Xbox controller to get out of the game.

Shame!!!! Don’t get this and consider a different base and wheel set.

Does not work with the T300RS base and a PS5. Attempted suggested firmware update, firmware was already updated. System only recognized 5 of the buttons on the wheel. The shifters didn’t work at all.

I have always be disatisfied with the small 28 cm stock wheel that my Thrustmaster came with. I worked fine but it was too small for me. So when I saw the R383 I was excited to get one. While the R383 does feel great it has some short comings.

First I needed to update the firmware on my TX base to get the buttons to work. Next the 4-way switch is very mushy and doesn’t have the intuitive feel of the game pad style one on the stock wheel. Lastly, the dye on the wheel didn’t get set and every time I use it my hands come off blackened.

It take a couple of washings to get the dye off my hands. So in concept the R383 is great, in reality is falls short of what it could be.

First, the functional design of this mirror is very good. Sadly, the functional design is of little value if the mirror is unusable. Simply put, the mirror will not fit over the existing mirrors of my 2004 Z71 Suburban.

I determined that the problem is caused by a lock wedge being either deformed or too large, preventing the tow mirror from snapping onto the existing mirror without applying unreasonable force. I have equipment in my shop many would not have and speculated I could physically rework the wedge in order to correct the interference which prevented it from not allowing the tow mirror to attach, but this would have required significant time.

I considered that likely the lock wedges supplied with the tow mirrors were incorrect and were included in the package by mistake. Later it was discovered they were the intended lock wedges for the tow mirrors designated for my vehicle, but they obviously needed to be custom modified to allow the tow mirrors to fit as their design intended.

The manufacturer’s customer service was contacted, but either could not or did not want to understand the nature of the problem. I then decided to take the time to mechanically modify the product to enable it to be safely attached to my Suburban.

We recently purchased a 28 foot travel trailer. We tried a pair of suction cup towing mirrors–did not work. After some searching, I found the CIPA 10800 Custom Towing Mirrors. I had the order rushed and arrived a day earlier than expected! What a bonus! I would have rated this purchase with 5 stars.

However, I had the passenger’s side towing mirror pop off in semi – winding conditions. Per the directions, I attached the towing mirror again. Once again, the towing mirror popped off. The directions were not the easiest to follow.

Yet, I was able to secure the passenger’s side towing mirror after the third attempt. I also had to adjust the driver’s side towing mirror as well. Overall, I am extremely pleased with the CIPA 10800 Custom Towing Mirrors.

This is a much improved design from a set I had on a pickup truck years ago. It’s an exact fit on my wife’s 2002 Tahoe. The mirrors are good quality and they don’t vibrate! I would recommend this product.

This adapter plugged into the new radio as advertised. The other end is all pigtails (loose wires). So had to splice all the other connections. You’ll need a lot of patience to match up the correct wires to the ones in your vehicle and will need a means to translate the vehicle wire colors to those on this adapter.

Maybe obvious to most folks but thougth I’d warn the newbies.

Good price for a stereo harness to ease in aftermarket stereo installs. Everything connected just fine, read reviews where others had to shave or remove material from the harness so it could connect.

Never had that issue but can see that as these are semi universal and fits multiple models. All the colors were there for my install on a 99 toyota camry le with pocket under stereo. Installed a Pioneer double din dvd player with backup cam.

All settings worked, 1st thing i usually do is check Fade/Balance to make sure I wired it correctly.

This part would have worked fine it’s good quality too but after purchasing it I learned if you have any type of factory amp it must be bypassed. My 05 Tundra oem amp was a Panasonic amp about 10 watts per channel fwiw.

lol There is a new Metra amp Bypass harness out for “Non JBL” Tundra stereos with an amp like mine had. The new one has very long wires it’s Metra 70-8121 Amp Bypass Harness kit. My 2005 Access Cab Tundra amp was not in the dash, it’s under the rear seat in storage area under a plastic cover.

Double cabs are on back of cab wall behind a cover behind their rear seat. These cases will make you cut/splice many wires to bypass the amp, up until now that is. Now’ just unplug the amps original outlet jack, plug the new 70-8121 harness into it and run it’s extra long wires to the new stereo and your done!! Best buy was great on this items return, thank you all.

I have disconnected the exhaust and reinstalled it now 3 times with each time ensuring there is ample clearance. Once the car heats up. the over axle section always hits the heatshield above. The rest of the fitment is great but there is just not much room over the axle and between the heatshield to ensure you wont hit or touch.

I have double checked all the clamps many many times. Sounds like a bird is dying under my truck.

Instant gratification. I can finally hear my V8. The car now has the sound to match it’s looks. Immediately noticeable improved throttle responses followed by a nice power punch in the midrange. Coupled with a performance air filter I now spin tires coming out of corners hard.

Love it. Also you can hear what your transmission is doing now. Truly engaging and adds to the driving experience. I also love in Brooklyn NYC about 2 minutes away from one of the longest tunnels in the US.

Love my new Magnaflow overland series exhaust. No more worrying about clearance issues since this model is tucked out of the way. The sound is also perfect. I’m not into loud obnoxious exhaust systems.

The overland series gave my 4runner a nice deep sound that when accelerating would make anyone grin. I also want to highlight that when coasting there’s no drone. This was really important to me due to the long trips I travel on.

One of the best purchases I ever made. The unit costs less than $20, yet is stylish and of good quality. Plugs into either a vehicle’s accessory power ports (the ports that looks like it can accommodate a cigarette lighter) or directly to the auxillary power if you have that capability.

Great sound, no noise whatsoever, easy to use, Bluetooth works well. Issues: cannot go to next folder. You just need to next next next many mp3’s to the next folder. Turning on bluetooth, my phone connects to it and I can talk on whatsapp, but when google maps gives me instructions, I don’t hear anything.

If you turn your car off in middle of an mp3 playing, then turn it back on, it will start the mp3 from beginning. This can become annoying if you are listening to a long mp3. Cannot fast forward an mp3.

Only next-previous. Can pause it though. NO USB !!! Only Bluetooth BT, Auxiliary AUX and Micro memory. Charger is good. Though 2 holes would have been better.

Less than $20. 00 and sounds like a factory installed bluetooth unit in my 2004 Lexus. I’ve been using the AUX cord up until now and wanted something to go wireless but still have the same good CD quality audio.

After trying at least 4 other transmitters, i decided to give this last one a shot and man I am so glad I bought it! It sounds just as good as the AUX plug. Crisp, clear audio with no distortion or static.

Pairs in under 5 seconds with my LG phone and never loses connection. Has a USB, SD Card and AUX outlet too. This is great! Saved me from spending hundreds to upgrade my factory stereo to be fitted with Bluetooth.

The title says it all. If you’ve never done brakes before and you’re thinking about it, that means you have the balls to do it. So do it. It really isn’t complicated – there are more than a few videos on YouTube and lots of reviews actually give instructions too.

I won’t bore you with that stuff. The brakes do everything they say they do. I replaced my front brakes with this company first and they were excellent. So when it was time for the back there was no shopping no looking no review reading just went back to the same company and ordered the same set for the back.

Here’s a tip or two: After the tire is off really look at everything 1st – take pictures. Specifically, •Take a picture of the bolt/s and where they go before you take them off. •Take a picture of the brake pads and how they fit into the bracket that bolts to the caliper before you take that assembly apart.

•Take a picture of the little metal clips seated in the bracket that holds the pads before you remove them, then putting the new ones back in will be much easier. > you’ll need a longer then normal breaking bar to loosen the caliper bolts/nuts.

Unless you’re Hercules 🙂 > you’ll need a 2lb short-handle sledge hammer – & the cojones to use it. >make sure you have a C clamp (or other) to push the piston all the way back into the caliper. It needs to be fully open to get it over the thickness of new pads.

>>OPEN THE LID TO THE BREAK FLUID Reservoir under the hood. BEFORE using the clamp!!!!! Then turn the clamp SLOWLY- allowing time for the fluid to move back through the break line as you push the piston back into the housing.

>Do not let the caliper dangle (hang) by the break line. Secure it up so there’s no chance of falling or getting in the way of the rest of the repair. >>”Seating” the new Disc: You do Not need to put the tire back on to tighten the lugs to “seat” the new Disc.

Just use 3 lugs, spaced – tighten them down firmly to “Seat” the disc on the hub – then reassemble the pads and caliper – Then loosen/remove the lugs, install tire retighten :0) > oh there is a product you can buy so 60-80,000 miles later you can get that disc back off with far less hammering.

**for me all the extra time was spent using the sledgehammer and cleaning everything with a grinder with the wire brush attachment. (I’m a bit ocd) If the discs came off easily and no cleaning maybe 1.

5/2 hours. But including getting all your tools ready, jacking your truck up/jack stands then putting all your stuff away – it’s def an afternoon kind-a thing. I own a floor jack & stands, a 175psi compressor- I saved time with the lugs off/on & a good jack speeds things up too.

Cleaning the rust and grim with a grinder also sped things up a bit. All of this being done by hand(?) you’ll definitely need 4/5 hours.

Impressed with the overall quality of the product. Pieces were package well and all parts labeled clearly. Pieces/parts fit perfectly on my 2018 Wrangler JK. I was quoted over 500. 00 dollars from a reputable service center to have factory brakes installed back on the Jeep, but after doing a little research on looking for something better, then the factory style brakes to slow down the 35×12.

5 tires I found this product. Only issue I had was trying to find a road to do the break in of the ceramic shoes on the rotors. Once that was complete and the brake fluid was completely drained and replaced with new fluid, you could tell the difference right away from the factory shoes.

Stopping is so much more graceful. I fully recommend this product to anyone considering on changing out their factory rotors and shoes. Overall install was a little over 2 hours, and that was due to the previous tire shop putting my lugs on so tight it took two people with a breaker bar to loosen the wheels.

I’m not a gearhead and told myself I’ll upgrade as parts wear out. Well, my 2013 pony package v6 is only driven 1 day a week and 50 miles would be a long week. That brings a set of problems most people don’t encounter.

I took vacation with the car, had some fun and noticed a unusual vibration while braking hard in the mountains. One brake caliper was sticking and wore the rotor down significantly more than the others.

Hence, I purchased this as a replacement. The total upgrade was a brake flush, stainless lines, dot 4 fluid and this kit. I couldn’t be more content with American Muscle, the merchandise or Manderbach Ford I noticed a significant change in braking, they don’t squeel, make noise and stop straight.

I followed the break-in instructions and everything is working well. Even though I could have fixed the problem by replacing the front rotors and pads, it’s been a month and I have no buyers remorse.

I made arrangements for the car to go Baton Rouge LA Where the Best Buy installed the deck and all three parts needed to fit the old ride. Mom now has tunes and NAV.

Researched the harness needed for my 2013 Ford F150 Truck. According to the compatibility information listed with this product, I purchased it according to this information. At the time of the installation of my audio player, purchased for my vehicle, I was informed by the Best Buy Installer, that the harness I supplied was incorrect.

He looked up the information on the store computer, and showed me the description of the harness needed to start the installation. He asked me, if I would be willing to go to a local mobile audio dealer/installer, that he suggested.

He also indicated, the dealer, most assuringly would have the proper harness in stock. I agreed and went to that business. Was able to purchase the correct harness for my vehicle, at quite an expense, Do to this issue, the installation time set, was extended buy two hours.

But once I had the correct part, he was able to complete the installation to my satisfaction, even though it took most of the day. I am not complaining about the installation, but unhappy with the improper info received on the Best Buy website, but other websites as well.

To sum it up, I purchased a harness from Best Buy, that was not used. Also purchased two harnesses from the local mobile audio dealer, not knowing which one would work, lucky one did. I left the the two items, that were not used, with the Best Buy installer, as I had no use of them.

What ever inconvenience and cost, I am happy with the outcome.

I had to do a lot of reading and youtube vids to make sure I was doing this correctly. The install manual and harness packaging color guide aren’t enough if you’re a novice installer like me–like this was my first attempt ever.

However, with extra research, I got it in and it works beautifully–2004 Ford Expedition Eddie Bauer and a Pioneer AVH-1300NEX. The install was actually fairly quick. Most of my time was in the research beforehand.

I also made all my connections in the house with good light and plenty of room to work. My one mistake was not hooking up the ‘blue wires’ to control the amp. I had trouble finding out if my Expedition had an amp or not.

It does. Use the blue wires. I was going to do 4 stars because the wiring info was weak but that really was due more to my inexperience rather than the info provided.

Simple to install. Other parts that function along with the throttle body need to be checked to ensure proper idle on startup. – TPS. Set from 0. 3V for idle to 4. 5 V for wide open. Used dremel to cut flat head into the screws that mount the original TPS.

Note: there are 2 different TPS for this application. – IACV. Disassemble and clean the idle air control valve, and replace the o-ring. Need special 5 point Torx bit to remove the motor. If 5 point Torx bit not available, cut flat head into screw head.

This parts gets frozen from carbon buildup inside the intake manifold, and difficult to clean without taking it apart, and will be difficult to set the idle if not cleaned. Re-adjust the throttle cable.

Check for any throttle plate interference. – MAP. Transfer over the MAP sensor, unless other modifications made.

I never liked the brakes on our 2016 JKU 75thAE. I actually hated them! They always felt spongy and I was always planning way ahead for stops if I happened to be pulling my utility trailer. I, like most everyone who owns a Jeep, went to a larger tire.

Nothing crazy, 285/70/17’s. But even that relatively small increase in tire diameter and weight over stock only magnified the Jeep’s braking deficiencies. I had been considering the PowerStop Z36 Kit for a while but was going to wait until the Jeep needed its brakes replaced.

My mind was changed when I topped a hill and there was a truck stopped in the road, and as fate would have it, I was pulling my trailer. I jammed on the brakes and thought, this is it! There was no room for evasive maneuvers and I was hard on the brakes, fortunately the truck made its turn and we avoided a collision.

When we got home I ordered the Z36’s! They shipped fast, and installed easily with basic tools. It took me about 4 hours start to finish. I wasn’t in a rush and took time to inspect and clean everything while I was in there.

I took the Jeep out and followed the bedding process to the letter. DON’T SKIP THIS PART! The difference between the factory brakes and the Z36’s is absolutely night and day! Now Driving Jeep is so much more enjoyable now because I don’t have to worry about the anemic brake system.

I got the replacement rotors and pads. The kit was super easy to install, just time consuming. Total time for install was probably 4 hours (about an hour each brake). You could also split in to two and do front first then rear.

A second hand does help, but I did not have one. The braking does feel a bit more powerful than stock. I think this is a really good factory replacement but I don’t think it’s worth “upgrading” from stock to these.

There are better kits out there for that. Make sure you have a socket set, wrench set, breaker bar, rubber mallet, picks, a caliper hanger, brake cleaner, gloves, caliper compressor, torque wrench, and extra brake component lubricant.

I watched both the extreme terrain video and another one on YouTube to get a feel for the work before doing it.

Tried these based on reviews and videos. Were easy to install, took about an hour, and really impressed with the results. Overall I feel an improvement in stopping power and a lot more confidence in traffic given lift/increased tire size often left me avoiding stop and go traffic.

These brakes are smooth, make hard stops a lot more manageable, and overcome the inertia difference in larger tires with a clear improvement over stock. Well worth the money.

Put in the work = pressure over time, plus heat, and correct application equals a happy customer. If you quickly apply this tape without applying pressure, you won’t be happy with the product. I used this to apply wheel arch moldings to my subaru forester.

It works so much better than the adhesive tape included with the wheel arch moldings (they fell off, so I found this 3M tape to fix it). I am super happy with this product because it is extremely effective.

I took my time applying this tape to the properly cleaned plastic trim pieces. I applied immense pressure to the tape as I applied it to the plastic trim from the roll. after I had all my pieces of tape applied to the plastic trim, I took my time removing the red backing of the tape, ensuring no dust or contaminants got on the extremely sticky surfaces.

Once all pieces of tape had red backing removed, i used a hair dryer to heat up the plastic trim+3M tape, and I carefully applied the trim piece for my rear doors to where the wheel arch moldings go.

I applied immense pressure to the plastic trim piece as it was applied to my properly cleaned wheel arch (the door), and after about 2 minutes of holding it in place with immense pressure, the plastic trim pieces were set and ready to live with my vehicle.

I’m super happy with the tape. Let it be known, The first time I used this tape, I didn’t other cleaning the wheel arch of the door, nor did I clean the plastic trim piece. The result was the trim piece didn’t stick well, and I couldn’t blame the tape – I had to blame myself for not putting in the work.

The work = cleaning every surface where you’re working, to include the rear door’s wheel arch, the plastic wheel arch moldings themselves, letting the pieces dry without contaminants, and again, applying ENOUGH 3M tape to the trim pieces, and when doing so – applying immense pressure to ensure the tape has stuck and will NOT budge, and not until that is done, remove the red backing of the tape.

Take your time with this stuff and you will be happy with the result. ENSURE NO AIR POCKETS EXIST between SURFACE applying tape to & the TAPE ITSELF (this is where immense pressure application is valuable).

also I recommend applying the tape directly as it’s attached to the roll and NOT cutting the piece you need and then applying it. Cut the tape only when you are at the point where you’re ready to stop applying it.

When it comes to automotive tape, there is no better than 3M! Its super adhesive and somewhat difficult to remove but not impossible but that’s what you want in this type tape! The only negative, in my opinion, is the protective red material that covers the adhesive side of the tape is very hard to remove! Once you can pull up a corner of the protective red tape from the adhesive the rest pulls off fairly easily! I would highly recommend using the 3m Adhesion Promotor along with the 3m tape as it makes the adhesive stick in almost any kind of weather condition, cold or hot!.

My Cavalier’s car molding has been peeling from the car for a couple of years. The rear doors started first, and when they got about half off, I removed them by hand. When the front door’s molding started peeling, I found this product.

The molding had about a 60° bend in them. Half was still attached to the car, but half was flapping in the breeze. The sun had helped shape the molding, not straight. I was concerned about the adhesiveness of this product being able to straighten the molding.

After cutting this molding tape to approximately what was hanging off the car, it was a little tricky to get the old caulk removed and this tape installed. But after doing the best I could, I pushed the molding against the car door firmly.

I remembered what 3-M said about their adhesive coat-hooks (press firmly for 60+ seconds), so I took that and did the same for the molding. I pressed it for three minutes, and cautiously released my pressure.

Well, three weeks later, and both front door moldings are still adhering in place. Multiple rain storms, and freezing temperatures too. So far, so good. I will update if the molding begins to release.

I couldn’t find decent car mat for my Honda Fit – most of universal mats were too big and difficult shape to trim. Weathertech universal mat was in the extra wrapped package without any damage, a bit more expensive than other universal mats but has great quality, no smell, and seems to fit small cars (by trimming) to larger cars.

Only drawback is back seat pieces were too small even for my small car. I should have purchased their 3 piece option for better coverage for the back seat.

Surprisingly the best thing I have done for my Mustang this far. I bought it so I could change my rear gear ratio, but before I got to that I added the 93 octane tune, disabled traction control, bumped up the rev limiter and adjusted the fan controls to a lower temperature because I was seeing the needle move a little hotter on WOT pulls.

Couldn’t believe how much this woke up my car and how much smoother everything seemed to run. Once I add in the 3. 73s this will be a totally different car. Was not expecting this from a box tune but with the bolt ons I have it worked wonders and the adjustment to my fans kept the temp needle from moving.

The only reason I give it 4 stars is because the instructions don’t match the computer software to update the device and the computer software looks like it’s from 1997. In 2022 they should be able to vastly improve this interface and have the instructions match the buttons available on the screen.

Otherwise incredibly happy with this product. Mods for Reference: Accurate 70mm TB/Plenum, JLT fenderwell CAI & Oil Separator, Flowmaster Catback. 93 Octane tune that was preloaded on the device worked great with these basic bolts ons.

I wish someone would have told me to go buy the Bama X4 tuner instead (which is the same price) and you get free tunes for life. SCT customer support won’t help with anything, they just tell you that you’ll have to get a custom tune from somewhere (it’s $500 per tune here locally).

I have a 100% stock ’03 GT, automatic. The SCT x4 description says that you can modify shift points, but they don’t tell you it’s only WOT shift points that are able to be edited. So if you’re going through town where it’s only 35mph speed limit but you had to goose it to get out into the traffic from a stop sign, it won’t shift out of 1st gear until 30MPH because you started off fast to get into traffic and it sees that as Wide Open Throttle for some reason.

(Go drive your car in 1st gear at 30mph and see how annoying that is). The Tuner is good if you’re going to be wide-open all the time, that’s for sure. But if you only do the track 2 days a month and drive everyday in a small town with no big speed limits, it’s not great.

Maybe it’s better if you have a 5spd, but for a 4. 6L/Auto, you’re going to need more tunes.

Sct x4 is great, does everything I’ve wanted it to and gives me a live readout of my gauges. I’ve got a 2006 6. 0 dually with 4:30 gears The blessed tunes on the truck did not work for me. All 3 of the tunes made my truck shift extremely hard, all the time with erratic jump of gears.

I asked for the to adjust the tune and they just told me to relearn the transmission. I tried multiple times, no change. Truck also blows black smoke under any load, in all of the tunes and averages 9-10mpg When I return to stock, no more hard shift, smoke or bad fuel mileage.

Fuel mileage goes back to about 13-14. Since switching tuners, I average about 16-17mpg, no smoking or hard shifts.

IšverstiShow in original languageI wanted to black out the emblems on my Tesla and this seemed like the most effective way. I watched the HyperDip emblem YouTube video twice, read all the customer reviews for tips, and read the pamphlet in the box for even more dos and don’ts.

I waited for a day with perfect temperature, humidity, and used the surface cleaner. However, I ran into so many problems! My back emblem was a mess. The first time it bubbled and dripped. When I rewatched the YouTube video, I realized the guy had a different spray cap on his bottle.

Mine spat out with droplets and wasn’t smooth. I peeled everything and started over twice. The third time wasn’t too bad since I only put on many light coats. On that third attempt the black peeled off in a few spots on the top of the emblem.

The product also clumped up a bit on the end of the T. The front emblem came out decent the first time, however, the black pulled up a bit from the bottom of the T. The words “DUAL MOTOR” actually came out the best even through I was worried since the font is small, however, even with fine tweezers there are a few little pieces of black that stick off.

It ended up taking me 3 days to complete since I waited for it to dry completely between coats to avoid bubbling and had to redo it several times. If I could go back, I would try a different method. Maybe I’m a perfectionist, but I’m not happy with my final product.

However, I’m way to frustrated to spend any more time on it!.

IšverstiShow in original languageI have experience using the aerosols from 6-7 years ago as well as the first DYC sprayer using the gallons and top coat. It’s been a few years since I used any DYC products and the quality of dip straight out of the can is truly impressive.

The product has come leaps and bounds since I last used the products and I’m so glad I tried them again. The application process was different but still fairly similar to what I was use to from before.

I was able to achieve a decent gloss finish with minimal effort. The only negative experience was the physical can itself. The first can I started using sputtered even after multiple test passes to get used to the distance and finish.

After about 8 passes of my first coat on the first wheel the gasket at the base of the nozzle failed and dripped all over the wheel. After having to clean and re-prep the wheel, I was able to get through 3 and 3/4 of a can.

So about 5 coats. At this point I planned to have a full can to fully wet out each wheel and really go for that high gloss finish. That is when I popped the cap on the 5th can and found it had no nozzle whatsoever.

I tried to use a nozzle from an old can but then realized there was not even a gasket to keep the pressure from blowing out dip from the top all over my wheels. Believe me, I tried just to be sure. Had I been able to use all 5 cans, I have no doubt that I would have achieved a finish I could be truly proud of.

While I am quite frustrated that I could not experience the full gloss effect, I would definitely recommend the product.

I received product reimbursement in exchange for my honest review. This air freshener is unique, unlike any other I’ve tried. Knowing that it’s part of the Febreze family, I expected it would be a great scent and it delivers as expected! The fruity tones of melon and apple combined with just a touch of musk go together surprisingly well.

It’s also neutral enough that it can be enjoyed by any gender. I love how you just snap the clip up and it immediately activates with gentle scents that begin to emanate in the air. Free of dyes, phthalates, and formaldehyde is reassuring although I’m less bothered by that since it’s not something you’re ingesting like food.

It fits on the vent clip perfectly and looks great. Having said that, I believe one is defective because no matter what I did, I cannot adjust the strength level beyond level 1. It seems that the plastic slider is jammed and does not move.

I’ve used these before and never had an issue so I assume that this is just a defective one. The unconventional name “Lush” provides no explanation as to what it actually smells like and it might be helpful if the packaging actually showed some melon, apple, and musk to give the buyer an idea rather than having to read the description.

The purple packaging is attractive but in a store especially with Covid, I’d rather not sniff packages and instead would prefer to have a quick visual of what it actually is made from. Finally, the price is a bit high compared with some other car air fresheners.

I’m actually more of a unisex with a hint of subtle creamy sweetness Air Freshener vibe type of girl. ( example black ice cream with a vanilla mix) But I actually always keep a few of these in my car compartment.

Reminds me of “Home” and growing up in California. My Mom always bought this scent in several different Febreeze products, and I always remember when she was spraying the rooms- and how she would always stop mid spray to take in the scent.

Lol I’m sure she still uses it. It’s feminine and tropical smelling. Really crowd pleasing and unlikely to be offensive to others. Also- it’s Febreeze, so it actually does make the air smell lifted and renewed, not piled on top of existing scents like too many other brands tend to do.

Ick. One of the Car fresheners lasts a good 6 weeks. Higher than the average brand. so it’s good quality! Febreeze offers this scent in quite a few different products too. I. E air freshener, Room spray, Candles, and last I checked I believe they also offer wax cubes!.

These are attractive little pods that are easily activated by clicking the vent clip into position. They also have a dial on the top of the pod to control the scent strength. After purchasing, I immediately placed one of the pods on my center air vent on my car and then stopped for gas before heading home.

When I got back into my car at the gas station it smelled AMAZING! Although the fragrance had already permeated the interior of my car, it was a clean and light scent. Lush whispers hints of the familiar that make you want to take deep breaths and enjoy the sensation, a welcome departure from the typical obnoxious.

The instructions indicated there were two air filters and four clamps included. When I inventoried the contents, I found one filter and three clamps. I called the manufacturer but it went to voice mail.

Their website showed the same inventory as the enclosed instructions. However when I went to U-Tube, the video showed one filter and three clamps. I did the install with what was provided which went fairly easy.

I did have to grind the plastic in order for the MAF to fit. Had the manufacturer returned my call Im sure this could have been easily explained.

Quality of product is very good. Fit and finish is well done with all needed accessories to install. Pictures with instructions are helpful but, I have newer filter housing with one band clamp, pictured is original unit with two clamps.

Was a little confusing until looked on line and determined it was upgraded product. Will install soon to see how it performs.

Looked at a number of CAI units and how they are installed with features. and price. After that research and recommendations from the Corvette Forum, decided on this unit. Install was very easy, product overall is good quality and fits nicely.
