USB Plug-and-Play Within seconds of plugging it into a USB port, the Razer Seiren Mini is good to go. Simply set its volume level via the streaming or voice chat software you’re using, and let your voice do the rest.
I own a Razer Seiren X and have been using it for close to 1 year now. I love the mic and the quality, however, as part o my living now comes from using my voice online, naturally, I began looking for an upgrade after my business began to accelerate.
After looking around at different products and reviews, I came across the Seiren mini. At half the price of the Seiren X that I own, I could hardly believe what I was reading and hearing. The hardest to believe was the claim that it was “The best USB mic money can buy”.
Well, my wife and my teenage son were both in need of an upgrade from the cheap mic they were using, so I decided to pull the trigger and get 2 of these mics. Oh My Lord. Every I had heard was true! I was expecting to plug this mic in and have some decent quality and to have to apply layers of filters etc but no.
This was not the case. Day one, out the box this mic absolutely demolished my expectations! From the better build quality to the increased vocal clarity. Better range, pitch, and gain. Buy this mic for anyone that needs a mic.
Trust me, its the best buy you can get without going into XLR mics.
I bought this for $30 from a Cyber Monday deal, but this mic is definitely worth its $50 MSRP. The sound quality is shockingly good, and with some tweaking of the settings it can be even better. My only complaint is that the mic doesn’t include a mute button, which I personally don’t mind too much, but I know many others will be understandably paranoid about privacy.
My one other nitpick is sometimes my PC will refuse to recognize that the mic is plugged in. It has been like this since the start, but I’m inclined to believe it’s an issue with Windows and not the mic itself.
But both of those are nitpicks, other than that, it’s a fantastic budget microphone, and you won’t be disappointed so long as you don’t mind the lack of a mute button.
Positives: Looks great. Really stylish clean design with a foam-rubber grip. Good weight and sits perfectly at my desk. Picks up on my voice really well even when further away on my desk. Has a small joint in the stand to point in a direction.
Decently long micro USB cable comes with it. Negatives: No mute/unmute button. Also was very quiet when first plugged in so I had to go into my computer settings to turn the mic up (Settings>System>Sound>(scroll down)Input>Device Properties> then turn the volume up).

The mic features onboard gain control, a mute button, and a convenient headphone jack with onboard headphone volume control lets you monitor your stream in real-time.
A built-in shock absorber helps avoid unwanted rumble from your desk or accidental bumps. The free Razer Synapse 3 software can be used to further control your mic, unlocking an analog limiter, high-pass filter, and full control of levels and output routing.
For a workhorse digital mic that can serve Twitch streamers, podcasters, and content creators equally well, the Seiren V2 Pro can be a great choice.
I had the Razer Serien X for years, loved it, so I decided to upgrade to the latest model. this was utterly disappointing. It does NOT filter out high pass. I tried everything. The sound is high pitched and hissy, the sound that comes through filtered out the LOWS, not the highs.
It has decent audio when compared to cheap microphones, but the 79. 99 Seiren X is way, WAY better than this. Don’t buy this, it’s overpriced, go buy the Seiren X.
It’s an awesome investment for me especially since I’m working from home recently. Had a wireless logitech G535 gaming headset prior and it served its purpose although I found that the mic was really lackluster, bluetooth signal dropping more frequently and my ears would sweat uncomfortably.
Now I sound pretty crispy on zoom calls and am much more comfortable knowing that I can be heard without shouting into the mic. It is pretty pricey, but I think that paying for quality, in this case, is well worth it.
nothing but positive things to say, microphone works great and doesn’t pick up much background after installing noisegate. synapse stream mixer works like magic too & especially enjoy the built-in aux cord and analog knobs.

I ended up returning this product for a few reasons: 1. Although at the 70 dollar price point when it was on sale is reasonable, it is overall a fairly cheap product. It has barely any weight to it, and it largely made of plastic.
For a product that originally costs $100, I would have expected it to be on par in terms of construction with other microphones around the same price. 2. The live testing/feedback from the headphone jack on the microphone is QUIET.
You can barely hear yourself when you talk even if you turn up your levels to the max. 3. Overall the customization of this is pretty bad. It is a plug and play type (no software etc. ), but even after toying around with multiple Windows 10 mic settings and volume levels, it was hard to strike a good balance of volume levels for close sounds, but not picking up background sounds.
4. Despite what the mic claims, this DOES pick up a LOT of background noise. Noises in other parts of my apartment that are separated by walls still got picked up. My headset mic does a better job of picking up local sounds.
I did take the time to do research via reviews and guides online to adjust settings, so I don’t believe this has anything to do with my system or how it was set up, but rather a lack of customization makes this mic very hard to use in all but the quietest of spaces.
Overall it just feel like a very mediocre product with the Razer name slapped on it. While I love Razer for their gaming peripherals such as mice and keyboards, I would give a hard pass on this and not recommend it to anybody.
Buy a mic coming from a company that specializes in microphones, and I assure you will be please (I am planning to purchase a Blue for what it’s worth for around $100).
If I could give 0 stars I would. This mic is terrible. It was $100 on the Razor website, I get it in and realize the volume knob is for the headset. ok fine. plug in my headset. Doesn’t work (yes, i made sure the sound settings and everything were correct).
The mic works, however the background noise it picks up is so bad I cant use it. I try to adjust gain. mic does not have that function. I download software to adjust it and that helps slightly but its still terrible.
Then I would mute the mic, unmute it, and the mic would still act as if it was muted. I paid 100 for this??? When i go to refund it, razor “cant process my return at this time” AND wants to charge me $15 dollars to refund their terrible scam of a product? Worst thing I have ever bought.
Disclaimer: BB sends email out asking for review before the items is received, then they send email after email asking fad a reminder. With that said, I’ve not owned the product long enough to give a thorough review but here are my initial thoughts.
It’s a mic. It works as a mic. I cannot attest to the quality yet but it powers on, works on Discord calls and Teams meetings. What I don’t like – when booting up the PC, one would expect that the device defaults to muted as there’s no actual power button but it doesn’t.
Second thing is that there is a knob/dial on the front that turns but I really have no idea what it does. This doesn’t put out sound so it’s not that and I’ve asked others on my calls if they can hear a difference when I change the dial, they can’t tell any difference.
All in all, I’m giving 3 stars as that’s my default that an item functions as it’s purpose – it’s a mic and people can hear me when I use it. I’ll edit the rating and review once I’ve used it more and can give a true rating based on its performance if it far exceeds or truly fails being a microphone.

This is a great mic. It is very sensitive, so a separate noise filter is recommended if you have a clicky mechanical keyboard. I use this mic with the NVIDIA broadcast software that utilizes my 2080 Ti to filter out noise.
I highly recommend using this with NVIDIA broadcast if you have a 20XX or 30XX graphics card. So far I have not had any complaints from anyone on the other end of my gamevideo chats. The RGB isnt as configurable as I had hoped, but its a nice feature to blend with the RGBs in my PC.
It should be noted that the lights can only be configured for either live or mute, not both. So, either it lights up when the mic is live, or it lights up when muted. I would like to have one color setting when live and another when muted, but for now Ill settle for it being lot up while live and off while muted.
There are only two separate LED sections, one on top and one on bottom, which limits RGB controls. Despite the limitations of the RGB controls, it does have a nice look and seems to fadetransition very smoothly.
Once you configure it, you can save the setting to the mic so you dont have to launch the HyperX software at startup every time or install the HyperX software on all devices you plan to use this with.
To summarize, if youre looking for a mic with great sound quality, this one will definitely do the trick. And if youre a streamer looking for something to add a little more flare to your stream, this one has some decent RGB support, but there are some others out there with more RGB features.

The Razer Seirēn X is the microphone designed specially to elevate the quality of streams. The microphone strategically filters unwanted background noise and features a built-in shock mount to dampen vibrations.
To ensure it fits your gaming setup perfectly and professionally, it’s constructed to be sleek and non-obstructive, allowing your audience to see more of you. It’s the microphone needed to propel your streaming journey to greater heights.
Good mic for amateur streamers or just chatting with your friends. The lack of polar patterns is a bummer, but for most people, the single option of “super”cardioid is all people need. That being said, it still picks up mild room noise despite the “super” effect supposedly being designed to combat this.
The plastic knob for headset volume (there is no gain knob) feels a bit on the cheap side. The sound is great for what I paid at $70 on sale. However, if paying full price of $100, I would suggest spending the few extra to get the better sounding, more versatile, Blue Yeti.
Weird side note, it does pick up a frequency buzz when I put my cell phone within 6-8 inches of it. Poorly shielded? I’m not sure. But a minor complaint.
If you’re looking for a cheap microphone for streaming, the Blue Yeti is a great option. It’s a popular choice for streamers and podcasters, and it sounds great. It’s also easy to set up and use. If you’re looking for something a bit more affordable, the Audio-Technica AT2020 is a good option.
It’s a bit less popular than the Blue Yeti, but it still sounds great and is easy to use.
