Two kingdoms are on the brink of war. Whose side will you choose? Torn between two families, you’re an heir of Hoshido, raised by Nohrian royals. If you choose the path of Birthright, you’ll battle the corrupted king of Nohr beside a family of strangers.
You may also choose the path of Conquest, where you must fight to change your misguided kingdom from within. Command warriors with expert precision and forge deep relationships to master this turn-based strategy game.
Your customized avatar is the main hero. An army of knights, mages, archers and more are at your command in the great tactical battles. Each unit and weapon has strengths and weaknesses you must consider for every foe you face.
Partner allies on the battlefield so they can support each other in combat. Building relationships is key – the closer your allies become, the better they’ll fight together. Their future is at your command, but first you must make the most important decision in the history of Fire Emblem.
Nintendo got everything right in this Fire Emblem iteration. I don’t know where to start! The speedy interface/game, the story, the characters are all worth the price and you can download the other two paths as DLC for only 20$ each! For around 100$ you’re getting a whole heck of a lot of replayable game and no, FE Conquest and FE Birthright are NOT the same game.
Amazing separate and affordable DLC available. Whole new amazing characters and storylines!.
The very first Fire Emblem game I ever received and I fell in love. The characters, soundtrack and mechanics feel like they were made for me. I’m a casual gamer and enjoy games that are more strategy or turn based.
Every iteration in the series is its own unique story so you don’t have to know anything or have played the other games to know what’s going on. Though there are easter eggs and references to those who have played the other games.
Fire Emblem is typically much harder than Three Houses, and this is no exception. The story is cheesy, the characters are mostly unlikable, but the gameplay is there. It’s certainly worth the time.
USA NTSC version game with World Edition packaging as pictured. No Region Restrictions. Two versions of the franchise’s new installment offer players an unprecedented choice: fight an opposing force or join the other side and try to make changes from within.
For the first time in the series, players take on the role of the main character and command an army, while struggling to decide which path to follow: helping blood relatives or the family that raised him or her.
This game is great i would leave it at that but i need to go into detail. It is a tactical turn based RPG and if you play on classic mode when a unit dies it wont come back next chapter so plan your moves carefully.
it has to coherent story lines birthright you fight for Hoshido and defend your home land conquest you fight with Nohr and side with those who raised you. Now for what i like the graphics are great, the field sprites look very nice and the battle models are very fluid the characters are very likable and the 2D animatied cutscenes put even Disney to shame and the song lost in thoughts all alone is just great.
it has a fortress builder witch is fun and there’s a Waifu system witch i still don’t understand why Japan likes Waifu but it affects how units pair up in battle and your avatar named Croin s completely customize able including gender name and voice now for what i dont like the villain is unlikable but i guess that’s his job but the sound track isnt very memorable lost in thoughts all alone is the only i can remember but over all it’s a great game 4/5 would play many MANY times but don’t waste time with amibo kinda lame.
My first entry to the series was fire emblem echoes shadows of valentia. Although, it is not fully voice acted like echoes, but the gameplay is great or as good as echoes. I also got this at a good price.
The shipping was very fast and on time. I think anyone who is interested in fire emblem or strategy games, they will enjoy it for sure. Im not that deep in the game play yet but I am enjoying it.
The choice is yours. Two kingdoms are on the precipice of war and the people of both factions will look to you for guidance. As an heir of Hoshido who was raised by Nohrian royals, you have a connection with both families and are at a crossroads.
If Conquest is the fork in the road you take, your loyalty will be to the family that raised you and you’ll fight against your birth family. With Conquest, you’ll help the King of Nohr as you command an army of knights, mages, and archers.
Put your tactical skills to the test and plan your movements carefully. Building alliances is crucial to your success on the battlefield.
The visuals are way better than FE Awakening (previous 3DS game), and the gameplay is a bit more complex. Now enemies can use pair-up/dual attack mechanics, which previously was restricted to only the player’s units.
Also, enemy skills are more varied and will make it much harder to “tank” enemy waves with a single overpowered unit. Additionally the “My Castle” mechanic lets you share your creativity with others, and even battle teams created by other players.
My main criticism is the game’s story, which can be kinda nonsensical at times, but IMO this isn’t a huge deal. Unfortunately I could not finish the game because I lost my cart. :/.
Considered to be the more difficult of the two releases in comparison to its counterpart Fire Emblem #birthright. This game keeps up with the traditional elements of #fireemblem that I’ve grown to love.
The storyline kind of feels a bit like the non-canon version of the story, but the gameplay helps redeem that. #Conquest is considered harder than #birthright because their is no opportunity for grinding your characters up.
you must be strategic in whom you give your experience to, because battles are limited. Long gone are the reeking boxes of #FireEmblemAwakening. This game is a great addition to any #Nintendo3DS owner.
If you’re gonna get the physical copy and you are an experienced FE player, get Conquest. It is hard and reminds me of older FE games – but the DLC aspect does make things easier. If you are a novice get Birthright.
I am a diehard fan and got both, which has decent story for each. Revelations is the DLC only full sized game, the last of the ‘trilogy’ if you will. I love the ‘my castle’ option and gifting people stuff left and right.
And the gameplay is awesome, vast improvements from FE: Awakening. If you enjoy a story-driven strategy game try this out.
Clash with legions of soldiers and Fierce monsters as Marth, Xander, Corrin, and other Fire Emblem heroes unleashing over-the-top-powerful Dynasty Warriors-style moves. Take direct control of known and original Fire Emblem characters, issue them strategic commands in the midst of battle, pair up heroes to unleash stunning attacks, and more.
Unlock new playable heroes, each with their own unique moves, special attacks, weapon types, and voiced dialogue in this large-scale action game from the Hyrule Warriors team. Play and experience a new kingdom with original characters colliding with heroes from across the Fire Emblem universe.
Battle as fan-favorite Fire Emblem heroes, like Chrom, Corrin, Ryoma, Marth, Xander, and more, each with unique moves, special attacks, weapon types, and voiced dialogue. Pair up two hero characters as a single unit that can unleash devastating combos and even switch between these heroes mid-attack.
Item arrived in perfect condition as described. You’ve probably read about reviews on this game or played this already yourself so most of this review will be similar, if not, the same. If you’re a fan of Tecmo Koei’s other hack n’ slash type games like Dynasty/Samurai warriors you’ll enjoy this.
The game also borrows elements from the Fire Emblem franchise itself such as weaknesses and the weapon triangle system. Much like the fire emblem games you can also build supports as well pair up units in the more recent Fire Emblem games such as Awakening and Fates.
The game has two campaign modes: Story and History mode. The story combines the events of Fire Emblem (original), Awakening and Fates and adds its own twist to the story. The story mode campaign is fairly easy in that you can easily complete it on hard mode the first time.
It shows you gameplay elements and teaches along the way. During the stages, there will be missions that are optional to complete but doing so will dictate the flow of the battle. History mode offers more of a challenge where the enemies are generally stronger and require you to have knowledge of the game’s mechanics to clear them sufficiently.
Some maps in historic mode will also have character or weapon limitations so only certain units can be played in those maps. This mode is definitely suitable for those who have played older warrior titles.
There is also a lot of unlockable content in the game in the form of weapons, skills and characters. The game also has downloadable content but sadly that is locked behind a paywall. Nonetheless the game is still a great experience and enjoyable even without it.
Bought this game on a whim, was not disappointed. I’ve never really played Fire Emblem, so I didn’t really know the characters much outside of Super Smash Bros, but I was instantly hooked on the smooth character designs and flashy fighting sequences.
The gameplay is definitely the most enjoyable part– the aforementioned graphics are exciting; the Weapon Triangle, type advantage/disadvantages, and Pair Up system add an excellent strategy element to what would be just a kill-everything fighting game; and the ability to switch between and command characters adds more mulitasking and strategy to the mix.
Of course, the game is not without its flaws. The story is rather lacking in terms of real depth and development, which didn’t surprise me much. There’s also a certain amount of grinding that may or may not be necessary to progress once “late-game” hits (I don’t actually know for sure, as I haven’t gotten to that point yet), which, compounded with the fact that the game likely starts to become stale after a couple dozen hours of play, might be a turn-off to some people.
Still, the game is very enjoyable, and is probably worth buying just to experience the flashy graphics and unique fusion of strategy and hack-and-slash. Fire Emblem fans should buy it 100%.
We were hoping for a classic, turn-based RPG or at LEAST some elements reminiscent of such games that came earlier in the series. This plays more like a Dynasty Warriors game with little to no challenge, likely intended for child-aged or beginner-level gamers looking for something colorful and silly to play and watch as opposed to an actual epic with deep, complex gameplay elements.
If you like modern anime and the story-telling there, you’ll love this game. If you’re looking for complex gameplay with intriguing plot twists beyond your average cliches and cheap, romance-related hooks, you’re better off sticking to the PS1 and PS2 era of games.
Enjoy fights that fuse action and tactics. Directly control characters and mow down hordes of enemies in intense Warriors action, while giving orders to allies. Think tactically as you decide where to advance, based on the state of the battlefield.
Between battles, interact with charming characters from Fire Emblem: Three Houses.
Fire Emblem Warriors: Three Hopes is more of Three Houses in a more action-oriented game. which has its positives and negatives. Visually the game is very much in-line with Three Houses, which has the benefit of great playable character designs and strong art-direction, but this also comes with a very drab color palette and a lack of compelling enemy variety.
The soundtrack features great remixes from Three Houses and the voice acting is largely great as well, though there are a few characters that feel a bit miss-cast among the newcomers. I enjoyed seeing characters that were only mentioned in passing in Three Houses, such as Holst and Monica, get their time to shine as fully fleshed-out characters (some even being playable).
Unfortunately this comes at the cost of reduced roles for characters like Hanneman, which is disappointing. The mission variety is nice but there are so many missions across the three storylines that what variety it has still ends up bordering on tedious.
The process of leveling up facilities at your base also seems like a good idea that becomes incredibly tedious, trading materials back and forth for hours on end to get the ones you need in the late game.
As for the stories themselves. they’re. something. Claude’s is a nightmare of bad choices and self-doubt on his part (a radical departure from how he is portrayed in Three Houses). Edelgard’s and Dimitir’s are better, with Dimitri’s in particular being a step above his route in Three Houses, but its clear that the overall narrative is messy.
A lot of the game’s conversations revolve around every character saying one or two lines along the lines of “we need to be careful” or “we can do this” and it gets old very quickly. A solid effort to bring Three Houses into the Warriors format, but it could have used a bit more time in the oven.
Its pretty obvious that they got it out as quickly as they could to make way for Fire Emblem Engage to have the spotlight all to itself. It lacks the abysmal performance issues of Hyrule Warriors: Age of Calamity, but I think that game was better at its core.
Fire Emblem Three Hopes is two things— a 1. Warriors / Musou game and 2. a “what if” story based on Fire Emblem Three Houses. For those of you who have played Warriors games before, this game will be one of the best you’ve played— it has all of the elements introduced in Zelda Age of Calamity, and it’s improves everything (even the frame rate!).
Plus, it has many new elements specific to the Fire Emblem series, such as classes, support ranks, weapon durability, etc. and honestly, the best part about the game is the fantastic story— probably the best Warriors story on Switch, and it has all of your favorite Three Houses characters too.
However, the real question is, can I recommend this game to someone who doesn’t like Warriors games? If you haven’t played a Warriors game before, you should play the free demo of this game on the Nintenso eShop before you buy it.
If you have played them and don’t like the gameplay (strategic 3D brawler against hundreds of soldiers where the soldiers almost don’t matter— the strategy of which soldiers you go after does). You can’t button mash your way through this game, but there IS a lot of pressing the same two buttons to combat the fields of enemies.
It’s very complex if you give it a chance, but people who don’t like this genre might not make it to the complex parts if they can’t see past the core gameplay. Overall, I love this game and you will too if you like Warriors / musou games.
If you don’t like this genre or aren’t sure, play the demo first.
I never loved dynasty warriors / “musou” style games, but Fire Emblem Warriors: Three Hopes has totally captivated my attention and made me rethink my impression of the genre. As the successor to the first Fire Emblem Warriors, and a spin-off of Fire Emblem: Three Houses, it has a ton of value in its story continuation, considerable strides in performance, and core gameplay loop.
The hack n’ slash mechanics are pretty straightforward in that you will be pressing Y and X a lot. That being said, its action gameplay has a surprising amount of depth in the combo variations of each class / job.
It’s a fresh “hands on” approach to fire emblems’ turn based style RPGs; you will be able to play dozens of familiar characters from Three Houses and customize their loadouts. There is also a layer of strategy, resource management, and of course, relationship systems that factor into the overall experience.
If you liked the Three Houses title, I strongly recommend picking this up. Much of the storyline could be taken out of context otherwise, but you may still enjoy for the gameplay alone! Cheers and thanks for the read.
Engage in massive battles across Fódlan in Fire Emblem Warriors: Three Hopes on Nintendo Switch. Edelgard, Dimitri, Claude, and other Fire Emblem characters return to put their combat expertise. Unleash devastating combos and stunning special moves in action-packed, real-time combat.
Take down dozens of foes with Edelgard’s axe or Dimitri’s lance, or blast enemies from a distance with Claude’s bow. Slash, swing, and spear your way to a brighter future for Fódlan. Features Revisit a war-torn Fódlan and engage in massive battles.
Unleash devastating combos and striking special moves in action-packed, real-time combat. Utilize and upgrade your weapons to defeat foes across the land. Strengthen bonds with other characters in and out of battle.
Align with a leader to build and command an army in strategic 1-vs. -1,000-style battles. The house you choose will bring you through one of three compelling stories, each with a different outcome.
Fire Emblem Warriors: Three Hopes is easily one of, if not the, best Warriors games ever made. An excellent alternate timeline to Fire Emblem Three Houses which manages to be equally compelling to the original, while also not replacing it.
The game has 3 distinct stories clocking in at around 30 hours each. A robust roster including almost every playable character from the original, and even a few former NPCs. Every character has a unique mechanic and pool of learned skills that makes them distinct from other characters with the same core moveset.
Moveset quality is really high, with every playstyle being completely viable. The addition of RPG and strategy elements from Three Houses adds a great deal of depth to the Warriors formula. It’s not just the combat that matters – it’s who you use, where you send them, and how your prioritize objectives.
KoeiTecmo returns with another Fire Emblem spinoff this time based on the hit Switch game Fire Emblem: Three Houses. You take the control of a mercenary teaming up with the three academies from Garreg Mach Monastery.
Any academy the player choose will give the a new story to follow and a ton of Warriors to fight with. Train, talk and form a strategy to strengthen your bonds and stats with the Warriors by fighting hordes of soldiers in each map to progress further in the chapter.
While the battles can get monotonous, and the dialogue can drag on a bit, the action and characters will keep you coming back for more surprises on what will happen next. Whether you’re a Fire Emblem fan or not, Three Hopes is the spinoff you definitely want to try out.
+Action +Characters +Story +Music -Dialogue can drag a bit -Like most Warriors games, it can get pretty monotonous.
For anyone who enjoyed playing Fire Three Houses, definitely get this game. Three Houses is my favorite game on the switch as i played every single route and completed the DLC. I personally put over 300 hours into that game.
When this was annocuned i couldn’t wait to get it. It has not disappointed as it brings back the same feeling i had when i played that game. Looking forward to completing all the routes and unlocking all the characters.
March to battle under the emblem of fire. The dragon protector and the dragon destroyer have awakened, and this time they send their soldiers to war until one side is completely annihilated. The My Unit concept is adapted to suit the game, gamers start by designing his or her own avatar.
Recruit allies with different skills into your troops. Plan your formation when you reach the battlefield. The new Dual System lets you attack in chains, place your troops around an enemy, and when one of them kick start the attack, the ally closest to him joins, giving you more power.
The options of casual play and classic play come back. A gamer can decide on the difficulty level, your fallen allies are resurrected after every battle when you choose casual, otherwise, they die permanently.

The game itself is one of the best in its franchise and one of the best DS/3DS games available. While the storyline itself is nothing special, the characters are written well and interact with each other in unique ways that make the story more engaging.
The service from the store was overall very good as well. I recieved the game faster than I had expected and in excellent condition. The slot in the case that holds the cartridge isn’t as tight as it should be but it still holds the cartridge just fine.
It’s just a knitpick as everything else was like buying the game new.
I absolutely loved this installment to the Fire Emblem series. Like many it was my first game and it got the ball rolling as far as my passion for the series. The characters and world are beautiful and their storylines are genuinely touching.
The game can be as straightforward or as difficult as you want it to be with Casual and Classic modes so it’s great for experts and beginners like myself. If you can get your hands on Awakening, I’d say buy it for sure :).
USA NTSC version game with World Edition packaging as pictured. Plays on all USA version (NTSC) 3DS Consoles. In the visually stunning world of the Fire Emblem Awakening game, you command and fight alongside an army of spirited heroes standing against an enemy with the power to destroy empires; a dark dragon whose agents include armies of the undead.
Plan your attack, customize your forces, and guide your heroes as you forge alliances that strengthen your resolve in battle and shape the course of history. Lead a team of distinct characters with unique abilities, rich backstories, and evolving relationships that guide the path of your quest.
Plan your attack carefully the lives of your soldiers and the future of the world depends on it.
After playing all of the other more recent fire Emblem games, I had to try this, at first I thought it was going to be less interesting and a quick ending game- boy was I wrong. I ended up spending many many hours hooked on this.
Just finished the entire game. I love it! It is a great game! I will say I do prefer the Birthright/conquest, and Three Houses games much more but this is a good one to start with!.
This is the first FE game that I have ever played and beaten, and it has left me as a huge fan of the series! The gameplay is fun– strategizing with where to position your army on the grid, abilities/skills to teach alongside weapon and class config; makes this a very diff.
game! The characters and storyline are appealing, along with customization, dialogue between army members, and choosing a spouse makes it an interesting game. You will put out a lot of hours with this game! The only downside was that I wish you could select the Jpnese audio with subtitles — which some games graciously allow.
Plus, being forced to marry Chrom was not part of the plan! I wanted Stahl. lol. Recommend regardless of my forced marriage mishap!.
The Art of Fire Emblem Awakening contains an in-depth, behind-the-scenes look at the smash-hit 3DS game, from beautifully illustrated renditions of your favorite characters, to storyboards for in-game events, character designs, weapon designs, character profiles, and the entirety of the script with every possible branch of dialogue! Relive some of the most poignant moments of the game, or see what might have been if you had made different in-game decisions with the Art of Fire Emblem Awakening!.
I have always been a fan of collecting “The Art Of” game and anime books. I figured it would be worth having since I’m an avid F. E Awakening fan, the game had lots of beautiful artwork after all and I was intrigued by having the character design development in my hands.
This book IS HUGE and quite heavy but worth every penny because it’s not just an art book, it’s also the entire game script! I’m talking all character dialogues with every other character on top of all the support conversations and all those epilogues at the end of the game with every result! I highly recommend this book to other collectors and avid fans of F.
E Awakening, I’d even recommend it to someone who just likes art books like this. It’s a great buy!.
The artworks on display in The Art of Fire Emblem Awakening are astonishing; they’re of an incredible quality and detail and it’s amazing to see them off the screen of the 3DS and in such a massive form.
The translated notes on sketches make the works more accessible and everything in the book adds to the experience of Fire Emblem Awakening. My only qualm is that the full Support Scripts in the back are very small and difficult to read.
Even still, they span more than 100 pages. It’s all well worth the read and purchase.
Considering that this book was half the price of a new one, Id say that all of the minor scuffs and marks were worth it. My only problem was that the book was covered in a little bit of dirt, although i was able to wipe that off.
Two kingdoms at war – the peace-loving Hoshido and the glory-seeking Nohr – It’s up to the player to decide which side to take. As the prince/princess of Hoshido, who was raised by Nohr royal family, you will be torn between two families you love.
Whichever path you take, you will face different types of challenges. Features: For the first time in the series, the player plays as the main character and commands his or her own army. The player character is customizable avatar, like in the Fire Emblem Awakening game.
Select male or female with many options. During the game, the player must make the choice between Hoshido and Nohr. Each path will offer a completely different storyline with a different set of characters to recruit as allies.
The Hoshido path is a more traditional path as you work together with your allies to fend off Nohrian invaders. The Nohr path will force you to revolutionize an unruly kingdom from the inside – this path offers a slightly more complex story and will be more challenging.
The Fire Emblem Series is a long established Nintendo series, dating back over 20 years. Fates is an excellent sequel. Birthright is one branch of the three part storyline and is a great start point, though it is possible to begin with Conquest first.
Essentially, the overall story involves choosing 2 paths – the player does this by choosing either Birthright or Conquest. A further storyline (Revelation) is available as a download, but you have to have either of the other two first.
Gameplay involves choosing actions in turn, rather like Pokmon, but that does not mean it is limited. There is a solid cast of characters, with developed backgrounds, together with many chances to level up and receive weapons.
There are also online gaming possibilities with extras. For a small 3DS game, played properly and unhurriedly, it will last a long time.
My boyfriend gave me some of his old 3ds games and this was one of them. I personally don’t find it very entertaining. It’s not my type of game I guess. It’s not a terrible game and apparently the story line is interesting, but I just can’t get into it.
I have yet to complete the games as of yet. I’m only ten hours in. But from my many hours spent on Fire Emblem Awakening I can tell from these ten hours that this game far surpassed my expectations, and has beat my love for Awakening out right.
It is an immersive experience with amazing visual sequences and gameplay and offers a fair and rigourous challange. In a more personal note I am now even more fond of the pairing system than I was in the previous game, and can’t wait to see the amount of pairings I can put together.
Two kingdoms are on the brink of war. Whose side will you choose? Torn between two families, you’re an heir of Hoshido, raised by Nohrian royals. If you walk the path of Conquest, you must fight to change your misguided kingdom from within.
Command warriors with expert precision and forge deep relationships to master this turn-based strategy game.
This is a challenging turn based game, even on the easiest difficulty. The story was surprisingly interesting. A lot of customization available for different units and which ones to pair up. I highly recommend.
War is coming to the continent of Fódlan. Here, order is maintained by the Church of Seiros, which hosts the prestigious Officer’s Academy within its headquarters. You are invited to teach one of its three mighty houses, each comprised of students brimming with personality and represented by a royal from one of three territories.
As their professor, you must lead your students in their academic lives and in turn-based, tactical RPG battles wrought with strategic, new twists to overcome. Which house, and which path, will you choose?.
Great Fire Emblem game in terms of gameplay and novelty, but the length is somewhat disappointing. No offsprings, a meh love confession, it felt to me like the game stopped in the middle! No relevant DLC quests either! No possibility to create your own couples for the other characters.
All these things that made the DS Fire Emblem cool aren’t present. Even the side characters aren’t nearly as interesting as the ones from the previous games, except for the three leaders. Also, so many important questions left unanswered! This game could’ve been the best yet had the elements from previous titles been there in addition to the new ones, but it’s just a cool game that isn’t particularly memorable.
Nonetheless, I enjoyed playing it, so it deserves a 7/10.
Before I started this game, Monster Hunter was the game that kept me playing in excess of 200 hours per game. I couldn’t imagine any other game which could match the MH series. Enter Fire Emblem: Three Houses.
I have clocked nearly the 300 hour mark (including 4 playthroughs – I won’t put spoilers here but you’ll find out – of the main game and a playthrough of the DLC) and all this is because of the combination of riveting stories and excellent gameplay.
The Fire Emblem series is based on its turn-based, tactical and addictive gameplay. The reason we kept coming back for more is the outcomes of relationships between members, the multiple divergent paths you can take, and the diverse number of characters you can battle with, each with their own strengths and weaknesses.
The difficulty level is completely up to you. You can play super-hard and have perma-death on your characters, or you can play on casual and have any dead characters mercifully revived in the next mission.
The story is so well written, and the in-game animation during the “exploration” days in the monastery is utterly beautiful. There are so many things to do during exploration too, so it’s not just a tactical turned-base game.
This is hands-down the most unique, most beautiful game (characters especially) and character-driven Fire Emblem of all Fire Emblems. I cannot recommend enough of this game. It really caught me unaware how the game never grows old despite multiple playthroughs, because it feels different in each playthrough.
I highly recommend this – well worth the money paid for both the main game and the DLC.
Gameplay: Classic Fire Emblem. The school segments are a good chance to get to know the characters better, marred slightly by a hugely oversized hub world and repetitive nature of the activities (though I admit, I did really enjoy fishing.
) The new gambit system is somewhat gimmicky, but can come in clutch in late game. The crest system seems somewhat pointless, but I’m sure it can come in handy, too. The story can take permutations based on the choices you make, but I found it pretty lacking, in the end.
Like with Awakening, the real enjoyment is to be found in the character interactions. Byleth (the protagonist,) really has their own character, and that should be kept in mind when trying to roleplay.
Bundle Includes: Fire Emblem: Three Houses Full Game + Fire Emblem: Three Houses – Expansion Pass THREE TERRITORIES, THREE HOUSES, WHICH WILL YOU CHOOSE TO FIGHT FOR? War is coming to the great land of Fodlan.
Here, order is maintained by the Church of Seiros, which hosts the prestigious Officers Academy within its headquarters. You are invited to teach one of its three mighty houses, each comprised of students brimming with personality and represented by a royal from one of three territories of Fodlan.
As their professor, you must lead your students in their academic lives and in turn-based, tactical RPG battles wrought with strategic, new twists to overcome. As the story unfolds, your choice of house at the Officers Academy will greatly affect where you stand when the land becomes engulfed in war.
After 5 years, former friends from the academy must now face each other on the battlefield as bitter enemies. Which house, and which path, will you choose? Command a party of warriors to move and fight on a grid-based battlefield, hire and equip new battalions to strengthen your units, and use Combat Arts to attack more efficiently.
You have taught them well, and now their lives depend on your leadership.
It is kind of lackluster for the price. There is only a few things added outside of the Ashen Wolves. The new outfits are ok. I really only like the unique ones for Byleth. Feeding the animals is not that interesting nor really helpful.
Anna is very lackluster and only there for the older fans of the Fire Emblem series. She does not even have any support conversations. The Sauna is ok. It does take up time to use and the effects are not that significant.
The Ashen Wolves however are the main part of this DLC. The Side Story is meh. Unlike the rest of the game, you cannot reclass units outside of their predetermined class at the start of the story. This basically means the battles get much harder while your units stay the exact same.
Classic mode is brutal because you cannot get any new units if one of them falls. The plot is also very mediocre. I will not say why because of spoilers, but it was not as interesting as the base game.
The best part of it is that you can access the new area and characters in any normal run after completing one run of the side story. The characters are basically like any other student in the game and have dialogue about the events that take place like normal.
I recommend getting this DLC before you play though every route to get the most out of it. Play the side story after at least one normal run and use the new area and characters in your new run. This defiantly is not a DLC to get after you 100% the base game.
TL;DR: This DLC adds a lot, but individually the features added are mediocre. The Side Story is also meh. If you do get this, get it before completing all routes in the base game.
Difficulty level is better suited for traditional fans of Fire Emblem (so fairly difficult). The extra items, gold, and a new monastery facilities are nice perks, but the main content is the side story, recruitable characters, and new classes.
The side story is pretty difficult and most people will might play it only once. The new characters can be recruited into the main game, respond to the main story’s events, and support non-DLC characters.
Some main story characters are actually well suited for the new classes. If that’s enough to make it worth $25, then great. Otherwise, it’s a little pricy and there’s already a ton of content in the main game to keep you occupied.
Overall, the Ashen Wolves expansion is the bulk of the value here. This expansion added some valuable backstory to Byleth. In any other game, I’d say that would be worth the price but in a game with four different base storylines, adding in one new additional side story plus a few costumes and experiences doesn’t really justify the price almost half the original game.
I love the full FETH game though so I decided to get this one to complete the game fully because I expect to play it through several more times in the years to come. And this did enrich my experience of the game.
So overall, great DLC, just a bit overpriced for a base game that’s already so huge.

Open the battlefield with the bond of heroes! In addition to the exhilarating action of the 「 Muso 」 series, the tactical elements familiar in the 「 FIRE EMBLEM 」 series and the bond system in which the bond is deepened by fighting with heroes are also introduced.

If you are trying to get the feel of the tactical Fire Emblem games, I’d say go play the classics. I highly recommend this game, however, for a number of reasons. I thoroughly enjoy exploring the castle and talking to the massive number of characters.
The battles do feel like Fire Emblem’s turn-based strategy, but you can turn perma-death off for your characters.
This is a decent expansion to Fire Emblem: Three Houses. Adds outfits for male and female Byleth. Has quality of life content. Also includes a new side story called Cindered Shadows.

Not only is this one of the best Fire Emblem Games I’ve ever played, Fire Emblem Three Houses is one of the best I’ve ever played period. It’s been a very long time where I have actually sat down and invested my free time on one game.
The presentation of Fire Emblem Three Houses is so amazing, I can’t stop playing it. Fire Emblem Three Houses tries many new things with it’s gameplay that have never been done before in any other entry, but it still maintains the true heart of the Fire Emblem Series which makes this one of the best in the series.
The attention to detail is exquisite, right down to the NPCs who even have their own little identities. The Difficulty is well balanced and is easy to understand the gameplay mechanics. Does this have have any drawbacks? It does, but they are so minor it’s not worth mentioning them.
Nintendo and Intelligent Systems as well as Koei Tecmo should be proud of what a Masterpiece they have made. Fire Emblem Three Houses is a must have for Nintendo Switch and would highly recommend it for not only RPG enthusiasts but Anime Lovers as well.
A perfect Fire Emblem game and a Perfect game in General. You simply cannot have a Nintendo Switch without Fire Emblem Three Houses.

I love this game! It is such a classic game. There are easy courses and very difficult courses. You can play by yourself or you can play with friends. (It is a lot of fun to run your friends off rainbow road 😂).
I definitely recommend this game if you are looking for a classic racing game. The controls are pretty easy to figure out and there are additional modes that you can play to make the game more interesting.
Awesome game. Lots of fun with 2-4 players. The best part is, for kids there is assistance mode where it will help you stay on the track and auto accelerate. You can turn off either or both. I honestly use the assistive steering sometimes because of the sharp corners in a lot of the tracks.
It doesnt completely steer for you it just keeps you from running off the track, and if you do it steers you back on it. The characters are great. My wife and I like watching the replays after the race to see the highlights.
Lots of cool vehicles to unlock and customize. You can change your character which changes the color scheme of the kart, then pick your wheels and parachute, all of which change the dynamics of the kart.
From speed, acceleration, weight and traction you can customize your kart depending on the track you select. Enemys are difficult on 150cc races and up which is a nice challenge. A few new weapons and some classics as well.
Great game for the whole family and a must have for all switch owners.
Ive played this game for a very long time (ever since the release date). It is a very fun game, and I still play it every once and a while, even after Ive done everything I can do in the game. This game has the most characters that have ever been in a Mario Kart game, and it has the most cups (with the downloadable content included) of any Mario Kart game since Mario Kart Super Circuit on the Game Boy Advance.
The downloadable content for this game offers a wide variety of new courses, characters, and kart parts to choose from, for only about $12, which you can get on the Nintendo E-Shop (you can use a Nintendo e-shop card that you can buy at stores, or use a credit card to add funds to your e-shop account on your Wii U online).
The new anti-gravity mechanic is also a very good new feature, as it plays a major role in the way the game plays. The game has some great online features as well, and allows you to play with your friends, or make custom races.
I have every Mario Kart game except for 2 of them, and this is my favorite one out of all of them. Overall, this game has a lot of features that are have been really nice additions to the Mario Kart series.
The characters of Fire Emblem Fates conclude the game by defeating the final boss and restoring peace to the kingdom. They all live happily ever after and their adventure comes to an end.
