Best Character In For Honor (2024 Updated)

The previous reviewer is correct. I also received an expired Marching Fire key. PlayStation support confirmed that it’s expired. Ubisoft said it’s not their problem as they were not the vendor. Best Buy support has been useless and is only able to tell me to “wait 24-48 hours” as they look into it, but they’ve been saying this for the past 2 weeks.

The fighting is good but a little confusing sometimes as it a bit different in other sword play games but it’s hard to develop a Rhythm, because the game contiuously stops your Action through the fight, to give you instructions on what buttons to press, even through the 2nd chapter, & that is Frustrating, other fight games may give you hints & suggestions throughout the game, but it doesn’t stop the action.

Its like a CONTINUOUS TUTORIAL which makes for a Frustrating Game Play. So much so that I just Stopped playing it and started playing something else. No I would recommend this.

For honor is a great tactical melee combat experience. And demands patience and perseverance, but that patience and perseverance becomes difficult to maintain when you are constantly being attacked by errors.

Unfortunately these errors have not been addressed and I fear the community will begin to migrate to more stable games. It’s a hard thing seeing as the game itself is amazingly satisfying to play. I cannot recommend it in its current state.

But it is an amazing experience when it works.

I wish I could give this game a solid 4-5 stars like I could have in the past, but there are some reasons I can’t anymore. Lets start with the good though, this games combat system is great if you can get use to it, and they have so many different characters with completely different playstyles for anyone to play.

Learn your favorite characters moveset and become a master, and punish other players for even thinking they could fight you. The Cons: After some of the more recent updates the combat system has been completely reworked and it made it unplayable for some of the older players as myself.

They have gone more towards cosmetics and battlepasses instead of actual content.

Controls are the most important thing for me and this one has poor controls. Too complicated. If they are going to be that complicated then they need to be intuitive. These are complicated but definitely not intuitive.

There are only 3 ways to block, like the old days, so there is up right, middle, and up left. Nothing in between. Middle looks like right and left block is hidden behind the character. On the control the left up block is more like left down or center so while you are trying to block where the blow is coming in, the control system is forcing you, by not responding, to to push left center.

Thus not intuitive. Same for the right and since center blocks look like they are on the right that is ugly too. On top of that there are controls for everything so it is too complicated. Give me Doom like games where you just shoot and run.

I know this is not a FPS but They seem to be trying to make it a sparring game.

This game was very challenging to get into. To me, it seemed very empty. Absolutely no character development, and almost seemed kind of dry. I did somewhat enjoy the controls of the game. It was easy to pick up but after a few rounds, you just realized it’s all the same stuff over and over again.

Nothing new happens. Also online play was very buggy, lots of glitches and cheaters. Recently heard Ubisoft banned thousands of players for cheating and modding online play but I still have no desire getting back into it.

Kind of regret that I bought it.

Bought this for my son for Christmas, for the price I questioned if it was really a new item. And if you have the same question, im here to tell you it is and everything works fine with the game. Thank you!! Value is good and he enjoys playing it.

This game is easy to pick up, hard to master. There are so many customization options for every character. Playing with friends is recommended for the online, as most Ubi games have nothing but salty people playing.

I picked this up to play with my brother and I dont regret it at all, the combat it fast, fierce and the finishers are super satisfying. The single player story is sub par, but the online war mode for your faction is a lot of fun.

The marching fire cd key is expired. Neither Sony or Ubisoft support would do anything about it. Just buy the regular edition and save $4

Medal of Honor has always been a great series of video games for all consoles. Though the Nintendo Wii’s controls throw you aloof, grasping the controls is not difficult and the game starts with a sort of “training” period where it shows and explains all uses of the WiiMote and Nunchuck.

The storyline of the game is good, though short. The levels aren’t terribly long and there aren’t that many levels. There are three different levels of difficulty, and that makes the game interesting as you work your way through the levels with more, stronger enemies.

The enemy and team AI is a little off, sometimes enough to annoy the player when the enemy will run past you, stop and then turn around and shoot you. The AI isn’t necessarily adaptive to you the player, but set to move to certain areas as you progress through the levels.

After dying on the same level a few times, you’ll realize exactly where the enemies will be and how to proceed through the level. The online game play is really good for a Wii game. Most shooters in general do not come with the same ability to manipulate the controls as MoH: Heroes 2 does.

You can adjust how fast your player moves based on your movement of the Wiimote, as well as how far off the screen you can go without the game telling you to “Aim the WiiMote at the screen. ” This is very helpful as when trying to turn around quickly in multiplayer battle can be done quickly when the controls are adjusted properly.

Multiplayer games can contain up to 32 people and through my gaming I experienced very little lag, noticeable when players left in the middle of a game. At all times I’ve been online there are multiple games to play, as well as the ability for you to host a game yourself, controlling what weapons can be used, what levels you play on, how many players max, friendly fire, ranked games, etc.

The online portion of the game is controlled by EA Nation (EA makes the game), EA’s online interface. This eliminates Nintendo Friend Codes, and allows you to send messages to other players that you have played with, or friends you may have online.

You can also keep a buddy list of recent players or players that you like to play with again. It will tell you whether they are online or in a game currently. It will only tell you what game they are in if the game was produced by EA as it will only list a game they are “online” in because of EA Nation.

All in all, this is a great game for the Wii, as it demonstrates how successful the Wiimote can be for a shooter style video game, and also how successful the online multiplayer can be for a Wii game, again specifically a Shooter style game.

Ok, so the Nazis are dumb. real dumb. Stormtrooper-on-Endor-getting-beat-up-by-Muppet-Bears dumb. But who cares? They present a target rich environment. PLUS if you are one of those people who enjoy beating up on the blind elderly, or were a bully during recess in the special ed class, then you will feel like a Man REBORN.

But on a serious note, this game does have its fair share of merits. A big one on the merits section is the excellent control layout and how you interact with the game (which is why most of us bought a Wii to begin with).

This has got to be one of the most intuitive control schemes that I have seen in awhile, and it feels a lot like that little game Metroid Prime 3, but with some additions that I think you will enjoy.

Like pushing your arms forward to execute a mean rifle butt smash to your hapless German opponents up close, or the way you make a throwing motion to lob a grenade, the way you twist the Wii-mote to zoom in your rifle scope in sniper mode and when you finally get your grimy little hands on the 12 Gauge pump shotgun, you will be pleasantly surprised that you do indeed have to pump it after every shot.

These little touches (and many, many more) add to the atmosphere of the game as well as the overall enjoy-ability. Another big plus is the seamless game play one will find on the EA Nation servers, that is 32 player multi player online seamless gameplay.

Now, while there are no vehicles to pilot, there are 32 players out there gunning for you, and some of the arenas are pretty big; so there is a fun challenge to be had long after the single player campaign is long gone.

I would go so far as to say that, for right now, this is THE online FPS game for the Wii system. The graphics find themselves neither boon, nor outright curse. The draw distances are done well and the game experiences little to no slowdown or pop up.

It runs along at what seems like a little under 60 FPS. BUUUUT, the could have easily been done on my Xbox, or Gamecube. That does not mean they are bad graphics, but developers in the third party have a ways to go to unlock the prowess of our little white box.

I safely give this game a 4. 5 out of 5; and if the Wii is your only Next Gen game console it is a must for your library. If you want to see what the Wii can do immersion wise in the realm of FPS based games, then I highly recommend it.

Even though this game is a port from a Psp game. it doesnt completly feel like a port. The controlls work very very well. You aim,you shoot with the b button. You can either target your enemy and then throw the grenade using the motion controlls OR you can press the up button on the arrow pad.

It works very well. Online gameplay is very fun. There are 3 game modes. Death match,Team Deathmath,and Capture the flag. Each room can have up to 32 players playing. but some rooms will have a limit of less.

depending on who created the room and how many people they choose to have in the room. This game is basically an online multiplayer game. and its a great one. The normal offline missions are very fun too and can be pretty challeging sometimes even though the enemies AI (Artificial Intelligence I belive) is not the greatest.

Even with that its still pretty challenging. The game has some pretty good graphics. The levels look good and so do the guns but the character models do suck pretty bad. But overall its still a great game.

Its not perfect. but it still doesnt bother you because the game is a whole lot of fun to play. If this game had been on a standard controll console it would def not be as great. But really the controlls make a huge difference.

Its easy to get lost into the game and not get frustrated over any controlls because everything just feels so natural. Aiming,throwing grenades,throwing punches at the enemies. Its easy and it works unless other games which have terrible controlls.

One of the earliest 3-D beatem up games on the PS2 that has a unique way of Fighting your opponents using your right analog stick to point the direction. It will throw off a lot of people When you first play it, but once you get the hang of it its really a blast.

Just wish it has more features and content, like endurance and challenge mode.

The copy I received had alot scratches that I got you guys. It makes the game much slower to load. I didn’t have any issues with the other stuff that I have gotten from you guys. The loading screens take along time to load.

It is very disappointing when you can’t play it because of that reason.

My son loves playing this game and seems very pleased with it. We already had a demo version and since he enjoyed it he talked me into buying the full game. The price was just right though at. 25 cents.

Much of the game is in english unlike the demo version. He enjoys it even though his momma says it’s a mean game. That’s one where people hurt or kill each other. I’m ok with it as long as it doesn’t make him a mean kid.

Have played all of the Medal of Honor games up to this one, and I did enjoy many moments of the game but it all seemed kind of short in the end. Of course the game is still filled with excellent sound and graphics along with a new feature of having 3 fellow soldiers you can somewhat give basic orders to and heal with your med kits.

Keeping them alive gets you more medkits or lives to start the next level. Played on normal and hard mode but the Hero mode I’m not sure there is a living person who can get through this. Have seen no walkthroughs on youtube for that mode.

At times fun but really is missing that comraderie and spy like storyline you have with fellow associates like say Tanaka on Rising Sun and previous games in the series. On Frontline you really get a sense of your enemy Sturmgeist but here it is missing.

If your a fan you should play it and just get ready for that final level to the last boss. Whew! Tough real tough. Hint save your bazooka and adrenaline. (by the way new to this game is an Adrenaline mode that gives you unlimited bullets and life for a short time but be careful as I have found myself surrounded by enemies after it expires and out in the open where I am killed easily).

This is a Great older Game, you are mostly on your own with opposing enemy that can be defeated eventually. Not like some other popular War Games that have waves of enemy that never end. I especially like the Background Music and Graphics are not overwhelming.

A good game to enjoy with realistic expectations and not to much over the top violence with Strategy and Imagination to get thru Enemy Lines and achieve objectives. You have to be conservative with your Weapons and not just brute force and overwhelming fire power to defeat a level.

Now I’m going to be fairly negative in this review Not because I hate the game but because I loved the game back when it was new. I would love to say that it’s still as good as ever and that it’s still a must play.

That would be a lie, the game has not held up well at all, The controls are Archeic And just feel wrong and Inefficient compared to modern ones, the graphics are. Uncanny and for some reason the game seems to have some strange filter on at all times on thop of that it has some absurd motion blur and doesn’t allow you to increase sensitiveity.

Honestly considering the price of Call of duty finest hour and Medal of honor Frontline I honestly see no point in getting this game.

I am very happy with the graphics of the game and the gameplay. I love the battle mechanics but they could be a bit better (I feel like some characters have better combos and moves than others and this can unbalance some fights).

The game has a lot of features to keep you busy (arcade and online mode) as you try to complete everything. However, the story is very short. Overall, it is good value and can keep you entertained for hours but expect the story to be fairly short.

While not being very different gameplay-wise from the first My Hero: One’s Justice, One’s Justice 2 offers a bigger roster with more variety in Quirk users of all kinds! A must-have for fans of the anime and manga.

They even offer both the English and Japanese voice cast!.

In terms of the gameplay, the fighting system is similar to that of the Naruto Ultimate Ninja Storm series, though a little less fluid overall. The character animations are nice and flashy when performing combos and specials.

I’m a bit disappointed by the lack of animated cutscenes for story mode as well as the lack of english voice overs.

Fast paced action? check Engaging combat? check Vikings? check Samurai? check 2 more Vikings? double check If you are a fan of melee combat fighters; this game is for you. If you are a fan of shooters; throw them out, this game is for you.

If you are somebody’s mother and easily offended by violence then sorry; this game is not for you. I bought 5. Yuge game. Bigly Sword fights. 10/10.

This game is only for hardcore RPG enthusiasts. If you think RPG’s are too simple these days, this game is an open world game, very fun and allows players to really screw up, it does not hold your hand.

Are you up to the challenge, a real time hardcore RPG, 2016, games like this are shunned for being too hard. Basically there is a main quest and many side quests. Select 4 players, all controlled by the player at the same time.

4 classes, ranging from knight to thief, paladin, cleric, druid, and even hybrids like archer and monk. Picking your class’s right will make your game significantly easier or harder. Each class can rank up two times, example – Knights can become Cavaliers and then Black Knights or Champions.

This can be done with every class and players can do the quests even without the classes to gain free levels. Following the main quest will give you a choice, Dark or Light. Depending on your choice will give you a mirror of what the other side would be, and allow the player to learn Dark or Light Magic.

Dark Magic is much more offensively stronger, and Light Magic is much more Buffing stat wise. Basically one ending allows you to become Something, and the other ending allows you to Go Somewhere – Without spoiling the ending.

So put simply your choice in classes, your choice in sides, will all dictate your experience. Save often, have fun, and take the challenge. Make sure if you are playing this on a newer system to install the 16/9 hack so you can use your modern graphics cards to run hardware mode.

This is available on GOG and works great on newer systems wit compatibility mode enabled.

As usual, Might and Magic VII’s story is a deep one, with loads of plot twists to keep the whole thing from slipping into a predictable Tolkienesque rehash. As you start the game, Catherine Gryphonheart has taken over the throne of her father (who has been transformed into a lich by the Necromancer’s guild) and is ruling over the kingdom of Erathia.

The king of the Elves has also established his own domain to the north in the lands of Avlee and the Tularean Forest. Harmondale, a very small little domain squeezed in-between has suffered from the constant tension between these two major powers (the Dwarves, to the south in Barrow Downs keep pretty much to themselves) and has recently fallen to a band of marauding goblins.

While all of this may sound interesting, it shouldn’t really matter all that much to a hearty band of adventurers, right? Wrong. After winning a prize offered by Lord Markham, a wealthy landowner, you will find yourself the Lord of Castle Harmondale and the surrounding lands.

Suddenly all of Erathia’s problems affect you and the people who depend on you in a very real way.

Everyone was flushing this version down the toilet. Really hasn’t been that bad. I started playing Heroes 1most have been possible divorce games ( if have truly play the games then you will understand).

But 2 was bad and 6 that one sucked sweaty ba. , anywho, 7 has great potential. I have only had the game a couple of weeks but has worked fine.
