At first I was just going to get the Laertes Chair, but realized I could afford the whole set compared to what I might pay for just one or two pieces at more expensive sites.

And my Homelegance looks just as nice no, even nicer than the overpriced brands.

For the money, I thought this recliner would last a long time. I even bought the Guardian 5 year warranty because of the power component. The motor is a part of the mechanism that has a tiny vinyl nut that travels up and down a long screw drive, and that little vinyl nut has broken 4 times now.

Guardian refuses to fix this, but Ashely has sent me replacement motor assemblies 4 times now, and I have had to pay to have them installed. My neighbor, a civil engineer, said that piece is severely under engineered, and is made from the wrong material to begin with.

So, this recliner sits, broken again in my den. For 28 of 38 months it has been broken awaiting parts from China – which is where it was made. I loved the chair, and when it works it’s great. The problem is it was made in Chinese factory that doesn’t have QA, engineers, or anyone to make sure they aren’t producing junk.

I thought Ashley would never step up, but after 3 years, I found the one caring person with this company and am being sent a replacement chair. Now I’m concerned they’re sending me the same model with the same problems, but I’ll cross that bridge when I get there.

I had surgery scheduled and needed a recliner to replace our old one. Because of the extended hours I would be spending in it we were looking for both comfort and a variety of settings. This chair was comfortable so along with the foot, lumbar and head rest adjustment buttons this chair offered all of that.

We were fortunate to find one in stock, after 2 weeks this has been a great recliner. I still have about 6 weeks left but if they go as well as the first 2 this recliner was more than could have been expected,.

It’s style and color is what caught my eye in the store. It’s size is the second item I checked off my list because it accommodates my shorter legs very well. It’s operational clicker is very basic and that’s why I got it.

Too many choices was a problem for my dementia stricken husband, needing to keep it simple. It’s so pretty and the blended grey/brown goes with all sorts of colors. It’s a little stiff, but time will correct that.

It is quite comfortable and the back support is terrific. Glad I bought this chair.

We got this chair for my 80 year old father who passed away on the morning of 6/29/2022 at 11:00am. He never got to use his new Recliner because Handy didn’t come to put it together until 5:00pm on 6/29/2022.

But never fear; he will enjoy his new Recliner from heaven and the family will use it in his memory!!!!!!.

I tried my mom’s one day when I threw my back out at her house and I was so impressed. It has a good strong motor, lifts you up so its easy to get on your feet and I love that the back and the foot rest are independent motors.

It makes it easier to find just the right position to get comfortable. The cushion for your head and back are nice and soft and the seat is very firm and supportive so there’s no tailbone pressure. The upholstery looks scratchy in the picture but it is actually almost fuzzy.

It was easy to put together. The only complaint I have is not buying one sooner!.

The hip has been replaced and the chair is proving to be very beneficial. It is very comfortable and helps with getting up and down. We love it. It blends well with our other furniture.

Great, just awesome! And much more. Just like the couch and love seat that it’s a part of. Much more personal, tho, because you sit alone. But I love this chair. It’s beautiful, it’s useful, has power, and USB plugins, and cup holders.

Bought this for the theater room down stairs and absolutely love it! They look great. They are comfortable. The service at NFM was awesome. The salesperson named “Will W. ” Was very pleasant to work with and stayed with us til we made our decision.

Just received this gorgeous couch. We love it! The sitting is wonderful as well. Love all these features too. The rest was awesome, as I have never had one before. Everything arrive in great shape. With not one problem.

The guys that delivered was very professional. Didn?t take 30 minutes for them to set it up and place the couch where I wanted it. I am more IMPRESS with PRICE. I save several hundred of dollars from Coleman Furniture.

I would do it all over again. My locate furniture wanted way more than I paid. They also don?t deliver, you pick up yourself. We I like the service on someone else handling everything.

Let me startoff saying that it felt like forever to get this couch. I have a small doorway of 30 inches and knew that I needed a secional in order to have a decent size couch for my family. After months of research and shopping local furniture stores my husband and I decided on this sectional.

I expected to wait a while because of Covid. I purchased this back in the beginning of July and it didn’t get delivered until mid September. I had never purchased furniture online before this aside from an office chair and endstand so I was nervous on how this experience would go.

I did receive many emails from the company telling what stage my order was in so that was a comfort. When it finally arrived the the delivery men were so nice and professional. I have to give them props because they even removed they’re shoes before entering the house because they saw that we don’t wear shoes in our house.

They set it up and removed all packing materials and threw them away. Now I have put off my review to wait to see if everything would hold up over time so now after 4 months I can honestly say this is the best couch I’ve ever owned.

It’s stylish, sturdy, and comfortable. At first I thought it to be to firm but after a day I realized that it is just firm enough so that it wont sag over time. The reclining features on the chaise and chair are great when you want to relax your legs.

The arm cushions are like having an extra pillow to lay your head on. All of my family have fallen asleep on it and love how comfortable and roomy it is. My family of 4 can sit/lay on it without feeling crowded.

The material seems to be holding up nicely and we have had some spills and they have not stained. I always keep sheets over it but that because I hate dust and don’t want to vacuum it everyday but the material is soft and durable.

Over all I am so happy that I made this purchase and would highly recommend it especially for those that want to customize to their needs and style.

I bought the Clonmel three piece sectional online. I knew it was gonna take some time to receive it because of the back logs and production issues that ramify from the COVID 19 outbreak and waiting is hard.

At one point I even thought about canceling my order. I’m glad I didn’t. I have my entire sectional and I love it. It’s exactly what I wanted and the Power Recliner was well worth the wait. It took about six months to get the entire set and Ashley’s customer service representatives were great with me; listening to my concerns and letting me know they were working on it.

When they say they’re gonna deliver, they deliver. AND in the end, it’s worth the wait!.

So I purchased this couch in December 15th. I paid $2600 for it. It was just delivered yesterday on may 20th. After an hour of me receiving it, I realized one of the armless recliners was damaged and not working.

It would not close due to it being bent and hitting the frame on the bottom. I call to report this issue and they proceed to tell me there’s nothing they can do because I signed paperwork stating the item was in good condition.

This “paperwork” they’re talking about was there drivers blank phone which he had me sign. I assumed I was signing it to say I received the item. They’re saying it’s in their terms and conditions that after this was signed that they are not responsible for any damage.

I was never once shown the terms and conditions nor was I asked if I wanted to see them. The phone that I signed did not have any writing on it therefore I could not know that this was the terms and conditions.

I also wasn’t emailed terms and conditions. I am no in a constant back and forth with these people who are refusing to resolve this issue and at this point I just want a full refund and they can take their couch back! Will never purchase anything from this unprofessional company again!!!.

I stopped getting mine repaired. The first time it broke was a few weeks after purchase. Some of the wires were pulled out, there was no risk of electric shock but it didn’t work. I flipped it over and soldered the wires added some heat shrink.

Good to go. A week later the foot rest and frame was busted. Called the furniture insurance people, they were good. They came out, agreed it was busted and ordered a whole new scissor type carriage for the foot part.

I think that broke because I have a teen that is impatient and couldn’t wait the 15 or 20 seconds for the chair to return from the reclined position. It does seem like forever. Shortly after repair. it broke again.

I didn’t even bother calling. I knew how this was going to end. So it’s been a regular chair for the last year or two. Now the back of chair broke, sagging, whatever. This was a waste of 1,000 bucks.

I’ve been really disappointed and kicking myself because I knew better even at the time of purchase. Value, construction, durability aside. How is it? Well it’s slow, the control is not very convenient, there is only one and when the service tech guy came out to repair mine he suggested we add some extra foam to the seat cushion.

So that was helpful. I would only recommend this chair to frail people under six feet tall without children or large pets. And even then they need to keep their core strength up. it’s a long way to the button to lower the foot rest.

The kids love to sit with Grandma when they visit and none of them are very little anymore. This recliner is perfect for us to cuddle up together in! My pup loves the extra space to stretch out in next to me when they’re gone.

Quality made product that is absolutely beautiful too! It’s taking a little getting used to in that the seat depth of my old recliner was deeper, however it’s also one of the things I didn’t like about the old one, it encouraged slouching and was impossible to sit upright in.

I’m sure this will be a favorite for many years to come!.

It’s comfortable and looks great. The buttons for reclining aren’t my favorite. I rather have a manual. The electric reclining is slow and fragile. I’m always afraid it will break and it has- twice. Kinda wish I didn’t pay so much for it.

Looks wonderful in our apartment! This chair is extremely comfortable and reclines very quickly. It’s the perfect size for a smaller space and the quality is impressive for the price.

This chair was very hard and uncomfortable. It did not recline all the way back. It only reclined 3 quarters of the way and The usb port on the inside poked me in the tigh when plugged un.

This rocker-recliner is a wonderful value for the price. I shopped around at La-Z-Boy first, but a comparable chair was twice as expensive. This rocker has good quality, soft, attractive fabric. The seat area is spacious and the arm rests and neck rest are pillowy and comfortable.

One flaw is that the foot rest can be difficult to push back in after being extended and the chair is a pain, literally, to disassemble. Plus, when my chair was delivered it was missing a piece and it took two and a half months for me to receive a replacement part.

But customer service was excellent and friendly. Definitely recommend this chair.

Beautiful chair. Firm but exceedingly comfortable. The wonderful design is perfect in every way. I only have one flaw that I find in the design. The designers thoughtfully included a USB port and intelligently included it into the same usage space as the control for the mechanical chair.

However, in what I consider a D’oh move. , the designers put the plug-in over the top of the up and down toggle, which by the way, lights when engaged. But the placement interferes with toggles, getting in the way.

Other then that, smallest of flaws, this chair is my idea of perfection.

The recliner is soft and comfortable. I love the chenille fabric and the pewter color matches well with my light gray carpet and doesn’t show cat hair. The recliner rocks in upright position and reclines flat like a first class seat.

Perfect for napping! I enjoy the rocking motion even thought I didn’t think I would. Another great feature is when you gently push back it stay in place. there are no preset positions.

I’ve had this chair for two weeks today. I am 25weeks pregnant and I sit in it every day. Less than 24hours of owning the chair it began to squeak when sitting down and getting up; the springs in the seat.

I’m less than 150lbs. Two days ago I noticed the foam padding on the arms has indents on both sides from my elbows. There’s less than an inch of padding on the arms, you can see it and feel it. I ordered the blue chair because based on previous reviews it is supposed to be gray; it is more gray than blue, I don’t really see blue at all, but the gray is kind of dingy looking, I can’t really describe it.

I have the chair in my well-lit living room, lots of light and windows, so if you plan to put it in your nursery you might not care so much. The size of the chair is pretty good. I’m 5’3 and wanted something I could comfortably sit in and get out of, especially after my c-section.

I was specifically looking for a power recliner with small dimensions that also swiveled and rocked. Not many fit the bill, and this was certainly one of the cheaper ones that did, so I believe I had realistic expectations.

This chair will not last 10 years in my living room. It wouldn’t last 10 years in a nursery with minimal use. I will use it as my main spot to sit for foreseeable future as it is pretty comfy, I love being able to swivel and rock and the power recliner feature works pretty smoothly.

It’s quiet, so if you’re watching TV or talking to somebody it’s hard to tell when the footrest is fully engaged and I’m worried about burning out the motor. I do like how it being power recliner makes it so you can stop it anywhere it’s comfortable for you.

I am not sure I can recommend this chair. It’s four hundred bucks. It was shipped to my house for free and came earlier than estimated. It was super easy to put together and has worked since it was plugged in, no difficulty set up or troubleshooting necessary.

The back slides on to the base and you plug in the cord. It didn’t even stink very bad and was fully aired out by the next day. I guess this would probably make a really great nursery chair. Like I said, this is my main “spot” to sit and watch TV, read, talk on the phone etc and I’ve even fallen asleep in it.

It’s in my living room so that means it gets more use than it would in the corner of the nursery. The side pocket and USB port are a nice touch that I actually do use. I still do have to “scootch back” in the seat when I sit down to be comfortable, but we have oversized furniture so this is my favorite spot.

If Walmart’s mobile app let you actually see review pictures I’d upload some. Overall, it’s a good chair. Your use will affect its life, I’m sure of that. After two weeks of only me sitting in it it has signs of wear already.

But it seems I’m using it more than the typical reviewer. I haven’t had to spot clean it yet but there’s a tag that says use a waterless cleaner, it will show water spots. So I’m careful not to drip anything on it (so far, lol).

Because of the low price, this recliner is a great deal (even with a few issues). And the recliner is a perfect fit with room to spare for my 210 lb 5’6″ body. After assembly, the power button did not work.

But there is easy access to the power cords in the back of the chair, and I only needed to reattach an unplugged cable. It unattached itself again within a day, but after plugging the cord back in it has not given me any further problems.

One of the storage arm covers is slightly askew, but it is to the outside and it doesn’t bother me. The power controls are on the inside of the arm. But I recently had spinal fusion surgery, and now I have some breathing problems from a breakthrough case of COVID.

It is a relief not to have to try to reach any controls on the outside of the arm and I do not have to manually push or pull to operate the chair. And the best thing about a power button option is that I can customize the reclining position to whatever I want or need.

The moderate speed of the reclining function is very satisfactory. Unfortunately, this power recliner was not available in fabric. It uses bonded leather. I figure that I will probably need a fabric slipcover eventually, especially as I have two cats.

“Leftover scraps of leather are shredded and ground to a near pulp, then bonded together using polyurethane or latex onto a fiber sheet. ” Real leather content is 10 to 20%. Think cheap belts for pants.

But real leather is quite expensive, so I figured a slipcover would be a good compromise. The USB and power receptacle outlets along with the low-level lighted cup holders are nice.

Needed to replace my standard recliner and decided that I’d like to upgrade. Searched virtually every website and read virtually every review on Theater Power Recliners under $1,000 and could not find a reason not to buy this.

Once I received the recliner I was amazed on how well this was built and operated. It is extremely comfortable and the bonded leather upholstery seems to be durable. I had to take away 1 star because one of the armrest lids was out of alignment and hanging on by only 1 screw.

The screws securing the piston cylinder were too short and disconnected from the chair itself. However, my son easily fixed the problem by replacing the screws with longer deck screws. All is now fine but I do suspect that there will be future problems with this style of lifter.

But, we’ll deal with that if/when we come to it.

I bought this chair for my husbands birthday last month. Its a nice looking chair however after assembly the chair was getting power (light in back on) but the electronics would not work. After some looking all connections over still nothing, then the next day it randomly had electric function.

Since then it as went out multiple times for no reason and 1 week in nothing at all (still power to the back with light). I reached out to Sam’s for an exchange and they no longer have the gray model (which we purchased) in stock.

They will not exchange for anything else. This is a good looking chair but if it doesn’t work now I can’t imagine in a year or more. Plus terrible Sam’s customer service. Will not purchase from Sam’s Club again.

I’ve used it for 11 months now. I purchased it because I have back pain from a serious injury. Positives: Very attractive upholstery, soft, true color. Controls function perfectly. As mentioned by another reviewer (which influenced my choice), it’s well-suited for a petite person.

NEGATIVE: I didn’t know what the memory foam would “remember” is the shape of my derriere! Quite surprised at how quickly it compressed and molded (and I’m average size). I’ve had other recliners that didn’t indent even after years of use.

Very disappointing. Unfortunately, it isn’t just an appearance issue. For me, it’s a pain issue. It isn’t simply not helping my pain (or at least making me more comfortable), it’s actually exacerbating my pain a great deal.

Ibought 2 of these because they are inexpensive comparatively and I needed something quick. Lazyboy is backed up 9-14 months and I’m not sitting on the floor that long. I wasn’t expecting anything amazing for the price.

The fabric is soft, like the short soft furry blankets that you can buy at the dollar store. The fabric is already starting to pill up and these have been in use for 5 days. The arms are very low, which I find uncomfortableso I use a throw pillow for support.

The foot rest feels very cheap and like it will likely break quickly. They aren’t comfortable if you sit in them for a long time. I currently work from home so sit on my laptop in them and I’ve noticed I need to get up often to take a break because my bottom or back hurts.

This wasn’t a problem with my old sofa.

This recliner is nice. I’ve paid twice the amount for other chairs and this one is just as nice. It looks and feels like it cost a lot more. I didn’t know I was ordering a power chair, but now that I’ve got it, that’s nice, too.

The mechanism is smooth and really easy to operate. It goes from a totally upright position easily to a totally flat position with a simple push of the button. You can stop the button at any time when you’re at the position you want.

The chair comes in two pieces. The bottom/seat section is heavy, as it should be for stability. I put the chair together by myself with one simple step…insert the metal tabs on the chair back into the metal slots on the back of the seat.

The recliner is impressive, especially for the cost. I will probably buy a second one soon.

You need to be furniture adventuresome to make this purchase. It is clearly a different looking chair, has one color, and you can’t try it out. Have to buy it from the picture and reviews. We bought two of them for watching Netflix in the evening and wanted something for the room that did not scream recliner.

These chairs do both in style. These chairs can be pushed back against the wall and not be in the middle of the room like a typical recliner that needs space behind to recline. They are all in for comfort.

The cushions are not gushy soft, but a nice firmness for comfort. The reclining mechanism is on the has very comfortable positions. The head cushion has a separate adjust. The controls are integrated into the side of the cushion.

No cord and button to find or remote to lose. My wife and I strongly recommend these chairs. I don’t normally do reviews. This chair is the exception, it is worth it, even if you can’t try it.

I bought this chair to float in my living room. It is HUGE. I measured and even taped it out, but it just needs a lot of physical space and takes up a lot of visual space. It just dwarfed all my other furniture.

The fabric seems soft and durable, even for kids and pets. It is fairly comfortable, but I don’t like the thin arms. They look sleek, but there is nowhere to rest them when you recline, so you have to just lay them awkwardly at your sides.

It is convenient that the controls are hidden to the right of the seat, but odd that the switch/plug is in full view in the back. I’d recommend this chair for someone who was going to place it against a wall (it doesn’t require clearance behind it in order to recline) in a huge room with tall ceilings and other huge furniture.

Bought a pair of these sight unseen and waited for a long time to get them. We’re very happy with them. My only real gripe is that the power cord and switch are right on the back instead of underneath.

What a ridiculous design choice! It seriously is an eyesore. They do look and feel great though. And they’re very heavy. We love them!.

I’m not happy with this purchase of the Hazelburg oversized recliner it is not comfortable and already appears to be wrinkling and cushion warp after 2-3 weeks of use. There is a crease in the center after 1 week of use.

The delivery team cut the tag in half so care instructions were not included. Im leaning that I would not continue to do business with Ashley again.

I bought a regular size recliner in January from Ashley. Did not like it at all. Kept it for several months. In May I went back online and found this. I ordered it and it has really worked out well. Very comfortable and plenty of room.

I can almost fit another person in with me as well!! I am very satisfied that I bought the Hazenburg Oversized Recliner!! It has worked out perfectly!.

We bought two of these recliners that match the reclining couch we also bought. When we ordered them we had to wait about 6 weeks. After they were delivered bout two weeks later we noticed the one recliner started to make a banging noise when we would lower the leg stool.

We called Big Lots and talked to Dan in Furniture and he said that we should exchange it for another new one, but we would have to pay to have the new one delivered and the old one picked to return to the store.

We said ok and it was delivered and we haven’t had a problem since. THANKS DAN FOR YOUR HELP IN EXCHANGING IT FOR US. We are sold on Big Lots and Broyhill. We would recommend Big Lots and Broyhill furniture.

This recliner is a nice size even for a bigger person to sit in and relax and feel comfortable. It’s great to have with children because all you do is wipe it with a cloth dampened with water and it’s as good as new should they have a slight spill.

I would recommend this recliner and it’s sofa to anyone looking for comfortable seating. Also great quality.

First I’d like to say from my salesman to the delivery guys , everyone I dealt with at Bobs were great. I purchased this for my 85 year old mother and after it being delivered she’s not happy with it.

She likes the heat but the massage is more of a vibration so kind of useless. The speed of the lift is slow but nice , controls are easy for her to understand. Biggest complaint from my mom is it is hard.

Not very Cush. There is another version at their store that lets you adjust the head rest forward. This is great when they recline and can adjust it so they can still watch tv , plus it was pretty plush.

Wish I got that one. Unfortunately I can’t return this once it gets to my house. So I’m disappointed that my gift to improve her quality of life might have been for naught.

I purchased this for my aunt as a replacement to her previous power lift recliner and both of us are extremely pleased. It is easy to operate, feels great and the overall design is pretty. The only comment I have to improve this even more is to change the color lights as part of the Intensity setting for the massager.

The low intensity light color indicator can be very hard to see in sunny conditions and could be a challenge for older folks with vision impairments.

This was a great experience from the beginning. Going to the store I felt safe, I was in and out in no time, although I did my research prior. The chair was a purchase for my 76 yr old father, very comfortable, the lift feature was what I wanted and the massage and heat were a bonus, obviously the chair is very new but it’s also so so quiet and all the mechanisms are smooth.

Chair was delivered in a few days of purchase and set up in seconds. Would definitely purchase from Bobs again. Only thing I wish was that I could find a rocker/power lift but I looked all over and couldn’t find anything.

The recliner overall is a nice recliner. Shoreham Blue was approximately $300. 00 more than some other colors – but be aware it is so dark it looks black. It is not like the picture in color at all. That is my only negative on this chair.

The chair is comfortable, easy to assemble and will meet your needs for a smaller space. The only reason I would not recommend this recliner would be for the color not because I had anything really negative to say about the recliner.

Note too the recliner’s seat cushion does not remove and I think in time this leather (although very nice now) will not be a long term durable leather. This is the type of leather that will peel and crack in time.

This is a lovely piece of furniture. It functions best for us as a chair, as the reclining function is lacking. It is difficult to sit with feet elevated as the chair has a tendency to slide on its own to a full reclining as if for sleep position.

Another issue is the depth of the seat cushion: normal-sized women will find it necessary to keep a back cushion on the chair to allow sitting far enough forward to the front edge of the chair for feet to touch the floor.

An added back cushion is also a necessity if you expect to sit semi-upright with feet elevated as if to watch tv or read. As a gorgeous piece of furniture, this barcalounger excels. As a plush, comfy recliner you could live in, not so much.

I bought 2 of these recliners for our living room. I love the color and the leather is nice and soft. They are a bit on the smaller side, and not the kind of recliners you sink in for an afternoon nap (although somehow my husband finds a way to do that).

They are perfect for what I was looking for. I wanted a comfortable living room, but “not too comfortable”. A space where people can relax but still sit and have a conversation without sinking into deep couches.

These fit the bill!.

There were so many recliners to choose from at American Furniture Warehouse, that we spent a lot of time shopping for ours. We narrowed it down to two and finally decided the Boxberg Teak Rocker Recliner was the best choice.

We had it delivered and couldn’t have been more pleased with that process. After, having it a few weeks now, we are very happy with this chair. It’s attractive, comfortable and well made.

This rocking recliner is just what I needed. The color is perfect, the material is soft and the cushion is just so comfortable. Many reclining positions to lay nearly flat. I’ve been buying my furniture from AFW since I lived in Denver, now in Phoenix.

The quality is A#1. I still have peices I bought in 1998.

We loved this chair immediately and were excited to find that it was in stock at our local stores. While we originally weren’t sure about getting a power recliner, we decided it would be an exceptional addition to our home as we add a new family member.

Reclining with our newborn will be a gentle breeze with the power recliner functionality, and we really appreciate the durability of the upholstery. Plus, the price was very reasonable and hope that this chair will stand the test of time.
