This is a really comfortable chair for my home office. I’m used to sitting in Herman Miller Aeron chair at the office and searched for a comparable drafting chair that was affordable. Found it! It feels very similar to the Aeron chair.
It is a very solid, well made, heavy chair. I like the rocking back feature and the adjustable foot rest. Easy to follow directions and only about 20-30 minute assembly time. I’m very happy with this purchase from Houzz.
Great communication and fast shipping, on top of discounted price for this chair compared to other sellers.
I have only owned this chair less than 6 months. From day one the leg support will not hold its position well no matter how tight I twist the handle. Now the seat height will not hold either. I bought a more expensive chair thinking I would get better quality, and Houzz is currently telling me it’s outside of the return window.
A $300+ chair should last way longer than 6 months!!! Would never buy again and potentially never use Houzz again!.
I have the Harwick Evolve blacked out chair for about a month. Shipping was fast, taking into account Customs clearance. This is a very nice and impressive looking chair. The casters roll well and the plastic base is sturdy.
The foot ring is large and confortable. The pneumatic cylinder is large and works well. The flip up armrests are a rare feature and work well, tight to remain in place. The armrests are confortable and at the right height, which is rarely the case with office chairs.
The seating construction feels solid. There are only three adjustments, height and back tilt angle and tension, all in any position. One would expect a bit more for the price. The mesh seating is tight, but tends to become less confortable over a long period.
One feels the front seat edge. The mesh is tight on the back, but is uncomfortable when one wears light clothes like a T-shirt. The tilt handle is large, but is quite hard to turn. Still havent figured which way to go to increase/decrease tilt tension.
The backrest provides a quite protuberent lumbar support. So much so that your back only rests on the support and barely touches the rest of the backrests. In addition, the support keeps you forward on the seat, so, while the specs provides for 19.
5 in. in depth, in use, itis actually less than that as you sit about 3 in. from the back end. That makes the overall seating quite short. In addition, the seating is a bit too tilted front to back. A drafter would find himself uncomfortable when bending over for a prolonged time.
A bit surprising for a drafters chair. The specs provide for seat height adjustment from 24 to 31 in. It is actually 25 in. at the front. At the lowest setting, only your toes touch the floor. Finally, in the last couple of days, the chair started to crack.
I have titghtend every screws, no change. Very dissapointing for a chair of that price. Overall, I would not buy ut again, Actually, it is for sales.

WOW! What a difference! I’ve been working remotely for just under 2. 5 years and during that time, I’ve been using my counter height dining room set as my desk and office chair. The chair was OK, and I made it work but I longed for a chair tall enough for my counter height table and one that had the general functions of an office chair.
This is it! It’s comfortable, can swivel, and can recline slightly and it has folding arm rests! Just what I needed. I wish it could recline a little more but it’s not a deal breaker.
Extremely comfortable. I’ve had sever joint surgeries and finding a comfortable desk chair has always been a challenge. At being 5ft, the foot stand is a plus as well. The arm rests have a nice cushion and there’s a lot of back support.
The color and finishings matching well with my desk. 10/10 would recommend.
The chair is made of high quality materials and is so well-designed! I like all the features. Even though it is advertised as a receptionist/office chair, it has the same features as a drafting chair which is what I needed.
I’m completely happy with it and was able to put it together without too much effort.
Inspired by minimalist Scandinavian design, this easy to assemble chair is a classic choice for today’s modern home office. The contoured, heavy-plastic back comes already attached to the seat and easily folds down to store it under a desk- making it perfect for small spaces.
The durable, steel, 5-star base and 360-degree swivel casters allow for smooth-rolling mobility. The thick, full swivel, padded seat combines breathable, easy to clean fabric, and high-density foam for hours of comfort.
The pneumatic gas lift allows you to easily adjust the height of the seat for ergonomic comfort. Also available in white.
Bought this for my 10yo. We liked how it folds down and can be tucked away under his desk for better storage. It was super easy to put together – took 5 min and he did it by himself. The cushion is comfy, but the back isn’t quite as comfy due to being hard-back.
Only complaint is it arrived with a 1/2in crack on top edge of seat back. Otherwise, a great little seat!.
Neat, sturdy but the seat cushion is not comfortable. The chair is made of sturdy material, easy to assemble and stow away but you cannot sit on it for long periods without feeling your butt becoming sore.
Definitely not for long work or play sessions. Cushion is too thin; you don’t have to press hard to feel the base of the chair. I’ll recommend it for it’s price but only if you get a separate seat cushion.
I have had five desk chairs since working from home March 2020 and this chair (second one from Target) is hands down the most comfortable! Bought two from Office Depot and one online. So glad I found The One in this chair.
A stylish, affordable alternative to your run-of-the-mill plastic and fabric office chair, the Bruce Modern Task Chair has won us over. A walnut effect plywood frame houses a lightly-padded black faux leather seat and sits atop a base made of chrome-plated steel and black plastic casters.
Covetable height-adjustment and 360 degree swivel features are included. Made in China, the Bruce Designer Office Chair requires assembly and should be wiped clean with a damp cloth. 21. 12″W x 24. 37″D x 34″H.
So, first I have to say that I do like this chair. It’s comfortable and was what I was looking for, for the most part. That being said, what the heck? I’m sure you can see how lopsided the back is. when putting it together I followed the pre-drilled holes, just like I was supposed to.
Also, the faux wood on the arms is chipping super bad. I’m trying to figure out a way to keep it from getting worse with some kind of cover for them, but seriously. they shouldn’t chip and scratch every time they come into contact with my desk.
I like my chair, I just wish the quality was a bit better.
Chair lasted about a year and a half. I sat back in it one day and the bracket holding the back to the seat pulled the wood away (I almost fell, but my spiderman reflexes saved me injury). Upon inspection, it looked the the wood, which appears to be layers bonded together, had weakened over time.
About 1/4 to 1/3rd of the layers had fractured, enough to pull the screws out. This is the weakness in the design. Perhaps more area for bracing or using solid wood would prevent this sort of “stress fracture” over time.
This chair didn’t look cozy online, but it is. It’s wide, the curves on the side act almost like arm rests without getting in the way, and it is easy to lean forward in for work. You don’t sink into it like an arm chair.
I think it will offer decent lower back support, but I haven’t had the chance to use it for a long time in my home office, yet. The only nitpick I have is the beading (or whatever that decorative edging is called) along the edges isn’t perfectly smooth–but it isn’t something that draws the eye and doesn’t impair function.
Thick Padded Contoured Top Grain Leather Seat and Back, Built in Lumbar Pneumatic, Seat Height Adjustment, Back Height Adjustment, Back Angle Adjustment Height and Width Adjustable Arms Tilt with Tilt Tension Height.
Adjustable Chrome Footring Chrome Pneumatic Cylinder Heavy Duty Nylon Base Dual Wheel Casters. The rounded edge of the seat cushion contributes to good blood flow by reducing the pressure at the back of the knees, Weight:52 Pounds, Item Weight:53 pounds, Product Dimensions:29 x 18 x 28 inches.
Not as much lumbar support as I would like. Horizontal adjustment of the arms is only possible during assembly. There is not any push-button sort of adjustment. Seat is very much an improvement from my last chair.
Probably would not buy this again. For the price the quality could have been significantly better. Comfortable but quality of leather was ok and the foot rest drops down pretty often. However, because it was during the pandemic there were limited options.
Office chair with stylish high back. Leatherette upholstery in choice of color. Chrome-finished base and armrests. Casters won’t scratch hardwood floors. Seat: 18-21H in. Overall: 21W x 22D x 42-45H in.
Dirk will be your new favorite co-worker – the Euro Style Dirk High Back Office Chair, that is. Durable, easy-to-clean leatherette upholstery in your choice of color covers foam and a flat bungie band seat.
This grey home office chair from HomCom proves that functionality doesn’t have to mean a sacrifice in style. It’s designed for premium comfort and long periods of sitting with 360 degrees of swivel movement and an adjustable height.
The durable frame holds up to 240 lbs and smooth rolling casters allow for easy movement. This low-back ergonomic gaming chair features a curved linen fabric and steel base that provides all-day support to your upper and lower regions.
A padded seat, armrests, and backrest extend this for extra comfort and support. Take your productivity to the next level with a laptop chair that brings out your very best performance.
Ive been looking for a comfy office chair that would go low enough for my little legs. This chair is perfect! I love the stylish look but it is also very homey! Extremely easy to put together and so comfy!! Would definitely recommend and can easily sit in it for hours without getting uncomfortable!.
Bought this office chair along with two recliners and they are made from the same material so I am absolutely delighted they just finish off my newly decorated office perfectly I could not be more happy.
Would highly recommend quick delivery from start to finish.

I think my review title pretty much sums it up. A very expensive chair. I only pulled the trigger on the purchase for three main reasons; (i) spending significant time in the chair working from home during the COVID pandemic, (ii) the promotional offer just before Christmas which meant I got 20% off and (iii) being able to spread the cost over 12 months on finance.
Ordinarily, I would not review a product like this unless I’ve got significant use out of it. However, this chair replaced a 15-year-old one at a much cheaper price point, which was showing its age. The previous chair was steel with chrome finish and mesh seat and mesh back with pvc padded leather on the mesh seat and backrest.
There is a reason I have described my previous chair. That is because when you receive this chair you may notice the difference in weight. Before the purchase, I did peruse the considerable YouTube videos out there and also try the chair in store.
The weight may not be a deciding factor but if you use the chair on carpet, rather than a smoother surface, like me you may find that the chair glides much easier. Having watched many videos, my understanding is that some plastic components have been used in this chair, i.
e. the re-mastered version of the Classic. There are those that think that this has been a bit of a downgrade in quality. It does feel plasticky compared with my previous chair but only time will tell with respect to the quality and longevity.
Other things that I dislike about the chair are that it is very much a task-based bit of furniture, i. e. designed for long periods of time at the desk, sitting upright. This could in itself be taken as something positive.
Apparently, this is the reason that some claim that is does not come with a headrest. However, at 6’1″ tall (Size B chair), I really notice the absence of a headrest should I wish to lean back in the chair.
A separate headrest can be bought but not one manufactured by HM, and not insignificant cost. Another thing I dislike about the chair is the inability to lock the tilt if you have leaned back into it.
Something I could do with my previous desk chair. The armrests being fully adjustable are a great feature and something I think is better than on my previous chair that had fixed armrest. They are extremely comfortable, height adjustable as you’d expect but can also be pulled out both in front of you and sideways.
The sideways adjustability is great, not something I’ve had on any other office chair. I found the back support from the “PostureFit” to be very good. As an iconic chair, the polished chrome version does look very smart and slick in the home if aesthetics are important to you.
The lack of headrest and not being able to lock the tilt are not deal breakers, just things that others should be aware of when spending this amount of money. I would strongly recommend trying out the chair in store before you purchase if at all possible.
I do spend the best part of about 10 hours a day in the seat, obviously not continuous, and have no problems with comfort or pains thereof, which I was having with my old chair.
BEWARE – THERE IS NO WAY TO ADJUST THE HEIGHT OF THE LUMABR SUPPORT ON THIS CHAIR – so, if your height and or torso isn’t the exact size this chair was designed for, the lumbar support will hit your back in the wrong place, making the chair uncomfortable and useless.
I have dreamed of owning a Herman Miller Aeron chair for a long time. My work has shifted to more computer and desk time. For my 50th birthday, I took the plunge and excitedly spent more on a chair than I could really afford.
My thinking was, this chair will last a lifetime and sitting comfortably and taking care of my body seemed like a good investment in me :). The chair came a few weeks earlier than the estimated delivery time, and my work/travel schedule prevented me from really giving it a try for the first month.
I noticed it was uncomfortable and the lumbar support wasn’t exactly right but the video I watched before buying it clearly shows the lumbar support as being fully adjustable so I didn’t worry about it.
When I was finally able to use the chair, it didn’t feel quite right, and I couldn’t figure out how to adjust the lumbar support. I wasn’t really concerned as the chair has the reputation for being fully adjustable and Herman Miller has an incredible reputation.
I re-watched the video on the Herman Miller website that shows the full adjustable lumbar support and began trying to adjust the chair. In the first section of the film it show how to increase or decrease the lumbar support anomy chair was able to do that.
HOWEVER, it the next part showing how to adjust the height of the lumbar support, it was suddenly showing the back of a different (older) model of the chair that does adjust. I called customer service to learn that the chair I spent nearly 1,700 for DOES NOT have an adjustment for the height of the lumbar support.
Further, because it took me two months to figure that out, my chair is beyond the return date – so I am stuck with an expensive chair that does not do what the website claims it does. Share on you, Herman Miller for making a chair that claims adjust to fit everyone but does not.
I know nearly everyone (Including myself) find the price of the Herman Miller Aeron to be completely insane when first looking at it. I had been aware of the chair for many years before finally deciding to purchase it at the start of this year, with the price being the only thing keeping me from buying one sooner.
I think I should first start with the cons, as whenever you pay this much of a premium for a chair, you will automatically expect it to be good, and want to find every reason to avoid buying it. Con #1 is the fact the chair gets very dirty very quickly.
Since the chair is made of a mesh material, the seat pan and backrest will act (and I will do my best at describing this) in many ways like a cheese grater. Shuffling from side to side will lead to small fibers of your clothing being torn off by the small holes in the mesh.
While this is nowhere near enough to actually damage your clothing, you will find that after a week, the area beneath the chair will be completely caked in dust. This may be a pedantic point, however it is something you should be aware of, especially if you are very sensitive to dust.
While I am not such a person, I am very sensitive to needing to vacuum my floor every few days for the sole purpose of getting rid of half a kilogram of shedded shorts and t shirts. Con#2 You must sit perfectly.
To give some background info on this chair, it was designed in the early-mid 1990s for office workers to sit in for 8 hours a day. Back then, the idea of sitting at a desk for “entertainment” was not really on the cards.
You sat in an office chair because you were working on your computer. As such, the chair was designed so that the person using it would not get tired or fatigued by sitting in a perfect/correct posture for 8 hours a day.
These days, it is far more common to watch films, TV shows, play videogames or generally relax while using a computer for leisure purposes. This means it is far more common today to sit in a more relaxed position in an office chair, either with your legs up, or reclined very far back.
However this is not really what the chair was designed for, and with it being as much an art piece as a chair, Herman Miller are somewhat restricted in being able to change the design to accomodate for the changing ways in which we use computers.
This means that unless you use the Aeron with perfect posture all the time (sitting with your lower back against the backrest, arms at 90 degrees and both feet flat on the floor), the chair is actually uncomfortable.
The chair is only as ergonomic and comfortable as you are willing to make it. If you sit exactly as it is intended, then you will have no issues, but if you deviate from this even slightly, the chair becomes more of a torture chamber.
If you were to sit cross legged on the chair, your ankles would be pressing up against hard plastic. If you try and slouch forward, you are sitting with pretty much no support for your back or bottom.
What I am saying is, unless you use the chair perfectly, it is not going to be very comfortable. However, if you do use it correctly, it is the most comfortable chair out there. As for the good aspects, there really are too many to mention.
Complete customizability of nearly every aspect means you can find the exact settings that are correct for you. The mesh design means you never get overheated while using it, and everything has a premium feel to it with no squeaks, rattles or clicks.
The 12 year Herman Miller warranty will also mean you wont need to go chair shopping for at least another decade.

I love this chair, the only thing I would change is just one more notch up for the arm rest, women have shorter arms and I need mine up another notch, but it’s as high as it goes. Other than that, I love the comfort of this chair and would give it a 5 star if it had the extra height in the armrest.
I have a crushed vertebrae and need specific settings for my back. With all the extra adjustments available, I can sit in this chair all day without my back hurting. I especially love the soft arm rests so my elbows do not hurt or slide off when I adjust myself.
I like everything about this chair so far. It arrived early & was easy to assemble. I bought this for my sewing room, but my grandchildren also use it for crafting & watching tv. We like the color & comfortable positions adjustable for 4-year old & 8-year old twins.
They can adjust it themselves. Would definitely recommend it & possibly purchasing another one so I get to use it when they’re here.
this is by far one of the most comfortable chairs I’ve ever used. It far out performed a $600 chair the my work bought for me, I gave that one back and kept this one. I sit for 6-8 hours a day and this chair does not let me down.
Well built, solid chair, seat has just the right amount for soft/firm for a very comfortable sit, good ergonomics, tilt, back support, etc. , to get just the right set up to your comfort level. I’m 6’2″ 230 pounds for reference.
Another Odyssey product you can use at every gig. The adjustable DJ Chair allows you to sit back at a comfortable height while reducing fatigue and stress on your back and legs during those long gigs.
The 5 adjustment levels, from 19″ to 33″, make you look cool without the appearance of sitting back on the job. Keep the seat up high so can lean on it while mixing or bring it down low and hide behind your rig in comfort.
Holds up to 300 lbs. on its 12″ circular foam padded seat. Features a removable back rest. Also available in all white (DJCHAIRWHT).
If only I’d been a DJ in a past life, I would have known about this type of chair for live performance. As a singer-songwriter-guitarist, I’ve used bar stools for those rare gigs where I don’t want to stand, or when it’s just better for the room if I don’t (cafe style).
I always lamented the awkwardness of not having a proper foot rest and the “one size fits all” philosophy of bar stools. But, I’m a pro. I’ll just suffer, right? Never again. This chair solves everything.
It’s adjustable, comfortable, has a small back rest (that doesn’t interfere with playing), folds up (mostly), and has a foot rest. It says it will hold 300 lbs. I weigh 200 (6ft), so I’d say it’s fair to assume that it will remain comfortable for someone larger than me.
It’s certainly sturdy, too. That’s something else about bar stools. Many of them are rickety in short order. With the three payment option, this is affordable right away. Lastly, It’s great for doing videos and livestreams where moving around like on a stage is not particularly conducive to the media.
I highly recommend the Odyssey “not just for” DJ(s) Chair.
I like the looks, looks pro behind my DJ setup. The lower back leg, support, folds easily. The top seat part unscrews easily also. Its little heavy compared to my old stool I bought at Michaels but this one looks much nicer.
I especially like the back support, the height really relieves strain from my back. Dont like the weight and I also dont like how small the but area of the chair is. Im 6 230 lbs and need a chair area that is larger and a little more comfortable, but then again, Im not going to sleep in it and I should be looking like Im working during a gig rather than relaxing while getting paid.
This item is marketed as a DJ chair but I got it to sit and play my guitar. I am impressed at how sturdy this chair is. I really like the fact that it is more of a stool with a backrest than a chair so my arms and hands are unobstructed while I play my guitar.
I was concerned that it did not come with assembly instructions but after reviewing a photo of the chair I had it assembled in about 10 minutes. It was easy. The other thing I like is that it is height adjustable so depending on your size (I’m 6′) you can get comfortable on it.
I paid $79. 99 for it and in comparison to other similar products on the market it is a great value. I have only had it for a week but I love it.

6″ x 21. 7″ and can adjust from 36. 6″ overall height up to 40. 6″. Seat height adjusts from 18″ to 22″. Supports up to 250 lb user. Airy mesh backing provides the user with breathability so you can stay cool and comfortable throughout the day.
Overall this chair is really great! It was easy to put together by myself. My room is white black and gold and this chair is chic and comfortable with good back support. The only thing I dislike is that the sear itself seems to be on a slant bc of the ergonomic design.
It feels like when I sit my butt is higher then my knees and its sloping downward. I believe thats the design of the chair. If not a deal breaker but I do wish I knew that before pursuing. Thankfully, I was able to lessen the salt by tightening the bottom, but it is still there slightly.
Don’t expect it to last long. I figure the mesh backing will eventually stretch or tear. Arm rests don’t fit flush as they should, chair does not push in under regular desk so it awkwardly sits out and in the way for me.
MPN: RTA-2024-GRY GTIN: 815764015524 Category: Office Furniture > Office Chairs & Seating Crafted from wooden frame. Tilt mechanism with tension control. Pneumatic seat height adjustment with arms. Five star steel base with non-marking casters.
Weight capacity: 200 lbs. Warranty: Two years limited on parts and defects. Made from polyester and plywood. Made in China. Seat height: 18. 75 in. – 22. 5 in. Overall: 26. 5 in. W x 26 in. D x 48. 75 in.
Like the chair, it’s comfortable. Hard to lean back though if you’re small, (my wife can’t lean back in it), The arms are nice, (prevents things from falling out of the chair), but they’re really not shaped properly for proper arm rests, so it’s not as comfortable as it probably could be.
On the other hand, assembly was relatively easy, though I’m expecting it won’t hold up well to wear and tear, based on the design of the bolt holes in the arms. Despite it’s shortcomings, it does work well for my purposes, and while I expect to have problems down the road, for now, it works well, and is comfortable enough for my everyday use.
Looks good and middle school kids are comfortable homeschooling on these. Bought for a decent look for use in a family room. May need an extra hand to hold and connect back of chair snuggly in place for final assembly, but no problem.
Tighten all bolts well for sturdier feel. We need to lower height to clear arms to tuck under desk after use. Good for price. Wide seating for adult use too.
Love all the items I have bought from fingerhut. The only complain I have is I had $20 reward and couldn’t use it. Also had afa free gift which was a purse and couldn’t get it. Because I got the free shipping since my total was over $250.
After I had also bought a TV and a desk. It’s sad a customer can’t get anything free after it is offered to you.

I purchased four of these chairs to use with a game table. First, the good: the chairs were well packed and incredibly easy to assemble. It says it takes two people, but one could do it if necessary.
The quality of the fabric and finish are very good. The chair seems very solid, and the casters are serviceable. I have the chairs on carpet, so they don’t roll as well as they would on a carpet protector or on wood, but they do roll.
The chairs also have a pneumatic height adjustment and a tilt mechanism to lean back. All of these components are solid. The base is heavy weight and again, solid. The less good: I find that the chair seems to lean forward a little bit, as though I am sliding toward the front over time.
It’s not a deal breaker by any means, and my own clothing when sitting might have contributed to the slide. The “walnut” base color is really more of a light cherry finish, so it doesn’t match the game table I purchased.
To be fair, the finish does match the picture online. I was just hoping it would be darker. And finally, there was a manufacturing defect on one of the chairs. The screws holding the base together had been sheared off, so the base was loose.
I contacted Linon and they said that they did not make that part separately and a replacement would need to be ordered. Here is where Hayneedle shined. I contacted Hayneedle, and within 15 minutes, I had a new chair on the way (at a lower price because the price had gone down a little bit!), a pre-paid return label, and a credit to my charge card once they received the returned chair about a week later.
Overall, Hayneedle did an outstanding job with customer service! The replacement chair was assembled easily and I now have a very cute set of four “Udder Madness” chairs around my game table! Overall, I am very satisfied with the chairs as well as with Hayneedle as a reseller.
The chair was great for about five months before the seat started creaking somewhere around the base plate and stem pole. Every time I got up, sat down or shifted, the seat made awful noises like an old creaky heavy door on a scary movie.
Added bonus is the metal-on-metal sound when the ball bearings in the casters roll on each other. I tried every fix that YouTube had with no luck! It was so distracting during online meetings that I bought a new chair and donated this one.
It’s super pretty and the seat is very comfortable but overall it was a big ol’ waste of 250 bucks.
Aeron Chair by Herman Miller Designed by Don Chadwick and Bill Stumpf At a Glance: Herman Miller’s Aeron Chair is the original ergonomic office chair. First unveiled in the early 1990s, the Aeron Chair has stood the test of time, gaining in popularity every year since its release.
In 2014, Don Chadwick was assigned the task of reimagining the Aeron Chair to bring its features and styling into the 21st century. Sticking closely with the chair’s original aesthetic, he worked to improve the chair through preservation.
Still available in 3 sizes, constructed out of Herman Miller’s proprietary Pellicle Fabric, and uniquely sculptural, the Aeron Chair has been remastered to retain its health-positive qualities while bringing its overall construction and features into the modern office.
Some of the reworked features include improved lower back support, new colors, a redesigned seat, specially engineered zonal seating, and a lighter weight. Don Chadwick carefully adhered to the adage “addition through subtraction” in the remastering process.
The result is a chair that remains true to the original design’s aesthetics and function while expanding upon its comfort and usability. What’s to like: The Aeron Chair is the most popular office chair of all time.
It is designed to support the human body throughout the work day to make everyday tasks better, more productive, and more health-positive. Its famous silhouette is still identifiable from across the room, and the 12 year warranty ensures you’ll be sitting comfortably for the next decade.
What’s Not to Like: With a product as complete as the Aeron Chair, it’s tough to find flaws. The initial investment can seem intimidating, but the health-positive effects offset later discomforts that can occur with a less savvy alternative.
Spend more now, save yourself later. The Bottom Line: You’ll be hard pressed to find a better task chair than the Aeron Chair. Its technology and staying power in workspaces is unsurpassed, and its extensive engineering ensure you’re always comfortable, alert, and productive.
The Aeron Chair continues the legacy that the Classic Aeron Chair began: a health-positive chair that is made for work. Authentic Herman Miller Aeron Office Chair.
IšverstiShow in original languageHaving like many others been WFH with long hours spent on video confs but also very often ending the day with a sore back and shoulders I decided to replace my 25 year old office chair.
I had no idea there were so many models available nor in such a vast price range. To shorten research somewhat I turned to JLP. After many hours of comparison I settled on the vast expense of this model.
However, not many reviews of it but 3 things tipped it: well accepted expertise in ergonomics /design, place of manufacture, and guarantee. Plus availability and I had some vouchers from earlier purchases.
Money well spent. Instant comfort, lots of knobs to twiddle for teensey adjustments and no bad back/sore shoulders since. Cheaper than osteopath visits???.
IšverstiShow in original languageVery happy with this purchase. I work from home full time so a good chair is a must. This is the 3rd and final chair I’ve purchased over the last 2 years. Back in the office days I sat in a Herman Miller chair and didn’t think anything of it.
For the home office I bought cute chairs that killed my back and hamstrings. I was sitting on a seat cushion to alleviate pain. Then I decided it was time to get a really good chair. All the pain quickly went away along with the seat cushion.
I don’t think about my chair anymore because I’m comfy! This is definitely worth the investment if you work from home.
Do you spend long hours at the desk? Do you suffer from back or neck pain? Are you constantly shifting your body in your current desk chair? You’ve got to try the Aeron office chair by Herman Miller.

Chair designer failed miserably in not installing means to adjust height. All features are rendered useless through the fact that this chair is suited to provide comfort and support to only a person of a specific size, height, weight.
To that ONE PERSON it may be a dream to sit on, but to ALL OTHERS its a nightmare! How did the designer get away with omitting such a vital feature? What a waste of time, effort, materials, and money! Such a flaw in thought and design is ample cause for termination.
D. J. De Pree would surely be shamed by this disgrace!.

I love how this chair forces me to sit upright and have better posture. It is pretty comfortable and was a breeze to assemble. I just got it today and noticed one odd thing about it: The mesh seems to be “fuzzing out” at the places where my back has the most contact with it – mainly near the lumbar region.
Very odd. At first I thought my sweater was shedding onto the mesh, but then I realized that fuzz was actually the mesh itself. Weird! I hope that doesn’t mean the mesh won’t hold up well over time? I have to say that the armrests are a very hard plastic, no padding whatsoever, so I don’t find myself wanting to rest my arms to much on there.
Overall, I think the frame and legs/wheels are solid and it’s certainly a heavy chair so I feel like it’s made well. But because of the feel of the mesh and how it’s fraying on Day 1, and the rock hard armrests, I’m only giving it 3 stars.
I own two of the Vert Ergonomic chair to go with my very wide standing desk. The chairs were okay at first, but have gradually gotten far worse. I threw away the boxes after opening them and did not realize that the box was necessary to return these.
I have been using the chairs now for 3-4 months and they are very uncomfortable after 20 minutes of sitting. The cushion you sit on feels very firm, and cheap. It does not flex much at all. When seated it always feels like the cushion is trying to lean forward so you are always tensed up to prevent yourself from sliding out of the chair.
The back of the chair’s tilt mechanism is even worse as it will not stay tilted back. You have to actively fight this chair to be able to lean back in it. There’s a lot of strength in whatever mechanism is causing the back to spring back.
I can never stay seated long to see if the back support is an issue or not. I think we can all agree that the most important part of a chair is literally the seat itself which this chair absolutely fails to do correctly.
Prior to buying these, I looked at plenty of other chairs, but were all in the thousand price range. Before buying these I read through so many reviews on here thinking these were the chairs I’d finally choose.

Very comfortable and yet supportive in all the right places. I work from home and sit 6+ hours a day and a good chair is a necessity for me. I would recommend this chair. I assembled myself and it wasn’t difficult.
I also LOVE that an actual Staples driver delivers their products! Who else still does that?? When you order from Staples (at least in my area-it’s possible if you live in a remote area it’s not an option), a Staples truck and a Staples driver/delivery person come and deliver it to you with care.
Driver was super-professional and made sure that chair was delivered with care right to my front door!! Thanks!.
Not only is this is a great looking chair, its flexible and can be adjusted for the perfect fit! I really like its clean lines and simplicity of design. It`s modern looking (but not too much so) and works well with the decor in my office that has a mixture of traditional and modern styles.
This is the most comfortable chair I`ve ever owned! I`ve only had it for a few days but it seems to be very well made and a solid chair overall. The design has been well thought out to fit a variety of body types and all of the adjustments are smooth and easy to operate.
The back is made of a high quality mesh fabric that is breathable and hugs your back. I love the supportive but flexible lumbar piece that cradles my lower back. The entire back of the chair can be adjusted forward and backwards.
I am a relatively small person at 5`4″ and like it all the way forward but can see that a larger person with longer legs might want it back further to give them more room. The tension on the back of the chair can be adjusted as well so it can be more stiff and straight or more flexible for those of you who like to be able to lean back in your chair and relax a little.
The seat cushion is firm but comfortable perfect for someone like me that struggles with lower back issues from time to time. The seat is wide (almost 21″) and can accommodate a much larger person comfortably.
The armrests adjust in and out to accommodate a wide variety of sizes of people. They also adjust up or down and are slightly padded with a hard rubber material that is soft and comfortable, easy to clean and looks like it will stay in good condition over time.
I am really impressed with the quality and well thought-out design of this chair and the endless ways it can be adjusted to find your perfect fit! The perfect mix of style, comfort and quality. Buy this chair – you won`t be disappointed.
I have to say that this desk chair far exceeded my expectations, as I have spent over 20 years working in an office environment and have repeatedly purchased and utilized a “high-end” brand name chair over the course of these years.
I truly did not expect this Lumbar 2D Arms Chair to measure up to the quality and functionality of the previous chair(s). First off, it arrived in perfect condition and was ready-to-go, right out of the box! Not one caster to install or scratch or visible damage, so this chair had me at, “Hello!” I have now been sitting in this chair daily for this last week, for up to 10 hours a day and am extremely pleased by the functionality of it.
The first thing I noticed was how easily it glides across the floor compared to my previous chair –not too smoothly that it`s rolling out from under me, but there is a definite ease in moving around.
In addition to this, I love the modern styling of the chair. The adjustment knobs are well-shaped and easy to move. I also prefer the mesh back of this chair compared to the heavily padded back of other chairs.
I was prepared to share one criticism, although I just now realized that the arms do move, they easily adjust higher and lower! For the past week I had noted that the arms were too low, but with this discovery I now deem this chair to be an ideal desk chair replacement and highly recommend it to anyone in the market for new office seating.
I will not hesitate to purchase additional Lumbar 2D Arms units, as replacements are needed in our business office.
There are a few considerations to take into account when selecting chairs for a recording studio. First, the chairs should be comfortable so that the artists can sit for long periods of time without getting fidgety or uncomfortable.
Second, the chairs should be relatively quiet so that they don’t produce any unwanted noise that could be picked up by the microphones. Finally, the chairs should be stylish and fit in with the overall aesthetic of the studio.
