This is a serious piece of iron! It’s big enough to cover both burners so it gets plenty of heat to cook with. It has plenty of area to cook bacon, burgers, or anything you choose. It has a nice deep drip edge so no grease gets away! My wife has wanted one for a while and when this became available I got it for us and very glad we did!! It was preseasoned, but my wife gave it a second seasoning session to make sure it was good to go! And, as always, Lehman’s shipped it quickly and very well packaged to protect it from damage!.
This is the first time I am using a cast iron grill on stove burners. I found it to be quite interesting. I have a gas stove. The grill is large enough to reside over two burners. When it comes to heating, I find that it doesn’t get heated evenly, which is to be expected.
The result was that I needed to constantly switch spots so my food can all get cooked at the same time. This does create some additional exercise for me. I do like the draining grove on the flat side, so my food is not bathed in grease.
Overall, I like the grill for occasional use, but it would be a bit tedious to use daily due to uneven heating.
Before you buy any cast iron cookware be aware of the work it takes to keep it pristine and always ready for use. I like to use my cast iron cookware on my grill. That is why I bought this griddle. When it heats up, it holds it heat, and gives a great sear.

The uses are endless. But it does require work to keep it clean and seasoned. Read the instructions and you will be satisfied with your cooking results.

These are great skillets for the price and the little handles red are handy. Some of the reviews I read mentioned problems with rusting and food sticking. If one is new to cast iron cookware, please read instructions before using, washing and storing.
The instructions that come with the pans clearly explain the simple steps to clean and care for the skillets. The more they are used & properly treated, the more non-stick they become and the better the food turns out.
Food comes out better with each use. Great for caramelizing, searing, broiling, baking and on. Witha little TLC, they will last for generations. Can be used on gas or electric coil stoves, BBQ grills, in oven, all in same pan, even on campfires grills.
Titled it Ehh cause that was my first opinion after using for 3 days. Before using, I washed with a little soap and warm water, dried completely, used a paper towel to grease entire pan for proper care, then cooked bacon and eggs in it and the eggs stuck to the pan, even with oil in pan.
The bacon also had residue sticking to pan. After 3 uses, the pan is turning a brownish color when its originally black. Yes, I repeated the instructions for proper use and care and the pan still doesn’t lead up to it’s description.
I don’t believe it’s rusting cause it’s not the texture of rust and no discoloring is coming off paper towels, but it’s fading and even though some things stick to it, the food does cook nicely as expected with cast iron.
I just don’t believe they make cast iron pans the way they use to.

Usable in all kitchens: gas, electric, induction, oven, camping, grill etc. Victoria cast iron skillets include instructions on use and care to upkeep and improve seasoning with time High quality commercial iron casting for durability and excellent heat retention.
I have both Lodge and Victoria grill pans. Victoria is lighter than Lodge (2. 5lbs vs 6. 5lbs) and have a longer handle. Victoria hands down win in the ergonomics deparmtent carrying Victoria is much easier on the wrist.
However, when it come to cooking and cleaning, Lodge has a much smoother surface than Victoria. None of them are considered to be smooth compared with vintage case iron or mirror finishing of Japanese carbon steel.
But seasoning Lodge would not rip my paper towel or sponge applicator apart. Spatula / turner would glide across Lodge smoothly. One more thing, buy the glass lid to save yourself from splatter!.
I am a Lodge fan, but I wanted to try this one. This is every bit as good. The only advantage I see with Lodge is they are made in America. I decided to try this to save a couple of bucks, It makes great grilled chicken breasts (skinless and boneless) and burgers.
Great for apartments, or when you just don’t feel like grilling outside. Great weight. Very sturdy.

I love these cast iron skillets! I bought a set of 3 for a great deal on Amazon. Just make sure to keep them seasoned they works wonders! I’ve used them for everything from homemade Tortillas, to rice, pork chops squash.
You name it. I feel like they make certain dishes taste better 🤔 😋.
The 14″ cast iron skillet is much bigger than my burners so the middle is hotter than the edges, even after preheating for several minutes. I made pancakes and they came out half dark and half light because the middle of the pan is hotter.
I’m going to try a diffuser under the pan next time. The capacity is tremendous so I was able to make a big batch of chili in it. It is great for browning the meat and veggies because it has huge surface area.
You just have to keep moving everything around because the edges of the pan are not as hot as the middle.
This rusted within the first week of useage. I’ve used cast iron for many years and know how to care for it so I was shocked to find this full of uncleanable rust. It was the perfect size and seemed to be very versatile until the rust showed up! Sadly, had to return it.
The Signature square Skillet Grill gives all the delicious flavor of an outdoor grill, with all the convenience of indoor cooking. High ridges allow excess fat and grease to drain, and spouts on two sides allow for drip-free pours.
Dimension : 11. 8 x 17 x 2 inches. Item Weight : 6. 4 pounds. 2 qt. capacity. Origin : Made in France.
I was a bit hesitant with the initial purchase, simply because cast iron is so heavy. It was recommended to me by various cooking enthusiasts friends of mine that swore by it. The esthetics of the brand is very appealing, offering various bright colors to spice up your kitchen.
I went with the flame orange, and after a couple of years of use the exterior enamel has resisted chipping and cracking as promised. I love the grill marks that we are able to achieve on our steaks and the versatility of being able to start the cooking on the stove and then move to higher temperatures in the oven etc.
I ended up buying a second square skillet from the official website in the color sage light green. The handle is a bit longer, and the top half circle is a larger cut out half moon shape handle versus a solid piece shown in this picture.
I did not notice any difference in the quality of cooking. A tip from the sales person was to christen the skill with some fatty bacon and avoid soap.
I have had the signature square skillet for sometime now. I use it almost daily to cook meats. especially steak, grilled vegetables. Everything comes out wonderfully well with the beautifully created grill marks that makes the food look magnificent.
When I first got it I didn’t know how to clean and condition it properly and it just sat in the cupboard. Then I looked on line and found the proper method for cleaning. Ever since it’s been a joy to cook with this absolutely wonderful pan.
My item arrived shoved by a plant, the box all torn up and the pan appeared to be shoved into the box. I was surprised the grill card and recipes booklet were inside and luckily the receipt was taped to the box and still secure.
I noted the pan appears to be a rushed job with the painting of the colored outside being uneven with meeting the seeming of the pan, when viewing on top. I am tired of explaining for a horrible mail system that has many of its employees double dipping.
There is no excuse for these torn boxes so battered. Now for the item itself. I need to visit the LeCrueset outlet near us to view true rejected items. This is not my first purchase with this brand, I purchased this oval grill for the grill marks, not for an exercise in cleaning.
This does produce the grill marks. No telling what the mail person might do on a return of this heavy item, so I am keeping it. However, this review does go into a not so much category on the review.

good cast iron pan, if seasoned well. I got this a month ago and had to season it twice. at first there were many black elements after the first seasoning, so I had to do it again to make sure the second time I season the inner walls too.
I believe the second time worked. The seperated holder at first I thought it was good, but it makes cleaning the pan very hard cause you cant turn the thing up-side-down with the holder. but nevertheless it still makes it good to serve food which a lot of others are not able to do lol.
I bought my self an ooni skillet pan to comportment my 40th birthday present from my wife, of an Ooni oven. It was great! Cooked the food well and the quality of the cast iron seemed good too. The handle is removable and is designed well.
The problem I have with it was after the first cooking experience I put it on the table for all to share the food I had cooked. The hot pan instantly warped the wooden platter (included in the skillet kit) and now does not sit flat on the table.
Disappointing and very annoying when you are trying to serve the food.
I enjoy my Ooni cast iron skillets, Make sure you buy more than one of each skillets. They are good quality and function well. I have found that use 4 to 5 skillet when I am cook a meal with family and friends.
I can cook with 3 skillets at a time in my 16 in ooni pro oven. The problem I have is figuring the cooking time for each entree I prepare, so far everything is tasting good! Bread in the Ooni over is the Best!.
A great accessory for the side burner. Great for the grill surface or in the kitchen. Durable and heavy cast iron for long lasting quality. GrillPro’s heavy duty cast iron for authentic skillet cooking on the grill.
Cooks and grills evenly. Cast iron means long lasting durability.
This was a good guy however it did not say that the pan was not pre-seasoned. Ifyou do not know how to preseason a cast iron pan it can be a disaster and a waste of money because you will not be able to use the pain as it should.
This pain also did not have the grill marks and it’s my fault for assuming. Otherwise great pain to use for searing and sautéing.
Heavy-gauge Grill Ribs 1/4” tall ribs deliver serious sear lines while creating space for excess fats and juices to drain away – ensuring that you’re grilling, not frying or boiling, your food. This is a very cool looking grill and it is solid and very high quality. however, it is extremely heavy! It is described as a “heavyweight cast iron grill” and they are not kidding. My husband is a pretty big guy and cooked in restaurants throughout HS and college- and he thought the grill pan was a little too heavy for himself.
I can not lift it with one hand and I am not a push over either. I weighed it in at 7. 5 lbs but it feels like 20! Have not purchased this brand before, but have had grill pans through the years and I know they are heavy but this one takes the cake.
Really not practical for me or any other female I know! Not sure if we will keep it.
This grill pan is amazing. So good I felt I needed to write a review. So easy to clean. I use my lodge scrubber brush and some warm water. The only thing is it’s a little heavy on the weight. but it’s cast iron, and totally worth it either way.
Please don’t hesitate to buy this or any finex product. Quality is 1000 percent. You won’t be disappointed. Thanks WS.
This pan out works much better than my other. The ridges are higher and broader, giving the steak room to cook without steam. The wider grill ridges give a great sear. 1 minute then turn 45 degrees and another minute to give the diamond sear.
turn over and repeat other side. and finish in broiler. Great steak in five minutes. Love it.
The Lodge Cast Iron 10. 25-inch square Grill Pan puts restaurant stripes on your grilled favorites like a pro. Helps with low fat cooking as the ribbed bottom pan lets you keep foods from simmering in fatty drippings.
Cast-iron is a multi-functional cookware that works wonders with slow-cooking recipes and all your favorite foods. Cast iron loves a campfire, a stovetop, or an oven, and can slow-cook foods without scorching.
It retains heat well so you can sear meat at higher temperatures and will keep your delicious meals warm for a long time. Whether used in a kitchen or camp, theses virtually indestructible cookware should last for generations.
Made of cast iron, this cookware evenly distributes heat from the bottom through the sidewalls. Sporting a stylish black color, the cast iron grill pan looks good in most kitchens and it doubles up as an excellent source of nutritional iron.
It gives you a nearly non-stick surface, without the possible harmful fumes generated by preheating chemically treated nonstick cookware. The American-based company, Lodge, has been fine-tuning its construction of rugged, cast-iron cookware for more than a century.
Love it! My meats come out juicy and full of flavor. Ensure you follow cleaning directions. I seen comments on various sights regarding rusting. I have now used mine several times and no rusting. I wash after every used, dry with a cloth, set in stove with fire in low to finish drying, than spray with olive oil.
Looks like new every time. Ensure you wash within a hour or so after use. Do not allow food to sit in pan over night.
Good size, excellent product. I’ve used cast iron for thirty years and my pans are a gorgeous satin-smooth black. This pan will definitely get some good use. Rather than using it straight off, I put it through several cycles of seasoning.
Note that because of the ridges, with the oil collecting in the valleys, it took a while to get the seasoning even. Note that many people (including some of the reviewers) don’t really understand how the seasoning works.
The oils cook down to the point where the molecules act just like polymers. The more seasoning, the more solid the coating. When you wash the pan DO use liquid detergent. The detergent removes the thick gunk, while not being able to break down the seasoning beneath.
The dry it, lightly oil it, and you’re done (one reviewer said it rusted the first time. Obviously they did not read the instructions and did not oil it. ). As long as the pan doesn’t get so ridiculously hot that it turns the seasoning into ash, it will become better seasoned the more you use it.
As for the pan itself, I prefer the square 10. 5 inch model over the round pans. While the round pans can claim a bit more even heating, as the iron distributes the heat, this is not much of an issue – not like an aluminum pan.
The square shape lets you fit more food into the pan and it works better for things like kabob. I like the pan. I later ordered the matching tempered glass lid. I’m very happy with them.
The reviews regarding rust is comical. It’s iron. if you leave any amount of moisture it will rust. And yes it is heavy because it’s made out of iron. This is a great pan and lodge is affordable, made in the USA, and wonderful! Do your research on how to use it and you will be loyal to it.
Tips. preheat pan in oven or stove top. When you clean it with water, take it back to the stove top and let the water evaporate so IT WONT RUST. then once it’s hot, put a very thin coat of oil on it and let it heat up for a little.
Do your research, there are plenary of tips. Don’t give up so easily and don’t expect it to not rust when you leave water on IRON.

I needed a cast iron pan with higher sides than my existing Griswold and Wagner griddles for making pan and deep dish pizzas. This looked like it will fit the bill. I wanted to try the 16″ size which measures 13.
250″ across the bottom. I might purchase a 20″ skillet later as I still need a larger base diameter for pizzas. Bottom is slightly rough comparded to the older pans. I will try the original finish first.
If that is problematic, i will polish out the bottom and reseason. Update: well after using this pan right out of box I’m impressed with the non stick properties of this pan so far and the ability of this pan to make a great pan pizza crust.
I did reseason the pan before the first use, and because I use this pan only for making deep dish pizza so I always oil the pan before throwing the crust in. I like the handles due to the size and weight of this pan removing it from the oven or turning is alot easier than a regular skillet.
Also a ATK hack I use sometimes if the topping are finished before the crust, is removing the pan from the oven and browning the crust using the stove top burner.
Firstly this is an excellent skillet and why I gave it a 5. However I purchased this to do steaks in the big green egg which is 19′ internally. The top of the skillet is 16′ but with the handles it measures 19.
75′. So you cannot put it in the big green egg and close it. There is an earlier miss leading picture showing this at 19″ handle to handle, this is incorrect. I do wish that vendors publish important details like handle to handle size so we can make informed decisions.
I could tell first thing it wasnt as high quality or as sturdy/thick as my lodge. I like it, but even after seasoning it sticks. I’m going to season it several more times and hope it improves. It warped in the center on my stovetop, but mostly flattened back out when it cooled.
I’ve never had that happen to cast iron before. The size is great though. I’ll keep it, it works, but I won’t buy another. Next time I’ll spend more and buy a lodge.

I am 61 years old and have never tried iron cookware. until now. My doctor suggested using iron cookware because I am anemic and the cookware sheds iron that would be beneficial to me. Growing up my Mother only used Teflon coated cookware.
I guess it was “Monkey See, Monkey Do”. These skillets are fantastic. They cook evenly, are non-stick and are not difficult to maintain once you know how to properly care for them. I wash mine with soap and water, wipe dry then place in a hot oven for a bit.
When I take it out, I coat the interior with cooking spray and wipe the excess off with a paper towel. That’s it. The only con that I can think of is the fact that they are very heavy and it is difficult for me to handle them.
I have the 10″, 12″ and 15″ skillets and due to a mobility disability I must have my husband move them for me. All in all, great cookware. I simply wish I had tried them long ago.
I don’t write reviews but this skillet has been so good. Friend gave this skillet to me, rusty and neglected. I researched how to reseason, and brought it back to life. Has been such a wonderful addition to our kitchen.
I use it for EVERYTHING! Basically the only pan I cook on anymore. Would be a great value at twice the price. We seared and roasted beef tenderloin last night to perfection, making pancakes this morning as I write.

The King Kooker 20″ Cast Iron Skillet is a wonderful and essential kitchen appliance. This item works great and is an ideal product for either the campsite or the kitchen. This 20″ cast iron skillet has old world charm and features both a helper handle and a primary handle for easy maneuvering.

This frying skillet can be used for a myriad of cooking techniques and can be transferred from the stove top to the oven to produce wonderful cornbread and casseroles every time.
This is my third lodge skillet. I typically use my 12 inch for everything, but I live alone, and this is perfect for eggs or grilled cheese. My biggest tip that I can give for lodge preseasoned cast iron—“wash it” first.
I don’t use soap, but I use a stainless steel scrubber and hot water and thoroughly scrub the whole thing inside and out. I then dry it over medium heat on the stove, put a thin layer of oil all over the pan with a paper towel and then “bake” the cast iron in the oven at 450 degrees until it starts to smoke and stink.
I’m in love, heavy duty pan heats evenly and doesn’t even begin to stick food. I was seriously worried all the old folks said I would have to buy a vintage fry pan to get quality. Wrong this pan is built heavier than anything I’ve seen in my travels to flea markets looking at late 1800’s early 1900’s cookware.
I cracked my old pan that was handed down to me from mother. It used to raise up in the middle while cooking and then the food in the middle would stick, not with the King Kooker , It holds its shape true to prepare a great meal.
I am very well pleased at this purchase and you will be too. Got to go another great meal cooking. And one more thing , I believe this cookware will last a lifetime.
You can NEVER go wrong with a cast iron! In fact, not only do I highly highly recommend it, I wouldn’t want to see any newly wed without one! It’s a cooking essential. These pans are much better for your cooking and for healthier for you! Cast Iron pans are a little high maintance but so worth it.
Every time you use a cast iron pan: hand wash it, use limited soap, and pat dry. Once you have the pan completely dry you can oil it down with your preference of oil. I have used butter, olive oil, or my favorite, coconut oil.
Coconut oil will be much healthier and more efficient. Happy cooking!.
Grill up some delicious food with it. The surface area will cover two burners for extra cooking space. This reversible grill and griddle can be used outdoors, tailgating or at home on the stovetop. This pre-seasoned cast iron grill and griddle can be used on any heat source.
Enjoy the taste of grilled food no matter where you cook with the Lodge Cast Iron Reversible Double Play Grill Griddle. Size: 16. 75″ x 9. 5″, Depth: 9/16″.
I had high hopes for this Lodge griddle as a means to finally cook MORE pancakes at the same time so I’m not left by myself in the kitchen when everyone else has finished breakfast. I had just retired a long-used All-Clad square griddle that had finally lost its finish.
I thought that sticking would be the problem with the Lodge. Instead it was the issue of it being too lightweight a surface. The heating was extremely uneven. I have a good gas range and the griddle was placed over 2 burners set to low-medium heat.
Even pancakes centered over the flame were coming out half underdone/half charred. I think it’s also a problem that it’s a double-sided pan. The reverse grill pan side doesn’t help the flat side keep consistently even heat or browning.
I returned it and will go to either a heavier Le Creuset iron with enamel griddle like the small skillet I love, or back to a nonstick like an All-Clad with heavier core for even browning.
I bought this several years ago from Target and use it only on occasion. I just used it yesterday and my pancakes stuck terribly. I even had trouble turning them. I always oil it after use. Also, I always make sure it’s thoroughly dry after cleaning.
After wiping it dry, I heat it up again and oil it. I do remember that every time I’ve used it in the past, the griddle has heated unevenly. I’m cooking on a small 4-burner gas stove with only a couple inches between the burners.
The grill goes across two burners. I do heat it up prior to cooking, hoping the middle will get hot but it never gets as hot has the portions right over the burners. Another problem is that either our kitchen floor is not level or the stove is not level so one side cooks better than the other and the oil tends to collect more on that side.
Thus, there are contributing problems outside of the Grill itself. I find it easier to use two pans. I was up on a time I was using two pans and the griddle. Another problem with the flat portion of the griddle is that I often lose food over the edges.

I have a big gas 3 burner camp stove which I use for canning. Needed a griddle so I looked at this accessory and decided to buy it after reading many happy customers review. Unfortunately when I received mine and put it on the camp stove it was not sitting properly.
I remove the shelf on the stove thinking it was the problem, no it was not. I decided to lay it on my kitchen counter to see if it lay flat. It had about an inch and a half lift from the ground on one side.
It came to me warp. I went online to see if this was an issue. Apparently some people experience the same problem. Continuing my search, I discover that the blackstone brand has the same issue, at least they say it can happen during the manufacturing process, and as you use it overtime (10) the warp should go away.
I could not find anything for my camp chef griddle that will explain the warping. Looking at the product you ca visually see it is raised in the middle, which cause the unevenness at the side. It cooked ok but he warping cause it to tilt when cooking.
If you want to cook something that doesn’t need oil, then it works ok, but for eggs and pancakes the grease runs to the sides too quickly. And that’s after getting the leveling legs and making sure it’s perfectly level.
Also, like another poster said, the surface is really rough and very difficult to clean compared to a regular cast iron skillet. The grease trap is hard to clean as well. Would be much better if it was designed to run off into a hole with a grease can under it.
This is a very nice, heavy duty cast iron griddle/grill which fits the Camp Chef 3-burner stove perfectly. It is not pre-seasoned but Camp Chef does also offer a cast iron conditioner which I would strongly recommend purchasing at the same time.
I didn’t know about the cast iron conditioner until I received the stove and griddle and I conditioned it the traditional way with oil but I think the conditioner would be easier because according to the information that comes with the griddle, you put the conditioner on before heating the griddle, which you do right on the stove.
I heated the griddle first before oiling it which resulted in quite a bit of carbon deposit on the cast iron before applying the first application of oil. I might also recommend not turning the stove on the highest setting to heat the griddle for seasoning, just turn it a bit lower to avoid the carbon build up.
It is all seasoned and works great now, but I think it would have been easier with the conditioner that’s made to go with it!.

I first heard about this company and their skillets on YouTube and I was interested. Then I got to see a Dutch oven and I was completely won over. I ordered three skillets and a care kit and absolutely love them.
The insides are so smooth and satiny. I had taken an orbital sander to my old cast iron to help smooth put the finish and help the seasoning stick better. That worked well, but took a lot of work. These skillets are delightful to use and so much smoother than I could get in my old cast iron, even after sanding them.
These are lighter too, which makes them easier to handle. I like how the company gives recipes to make which will help build seasoning on your skillets and how all the directions are straightforward and easy to understand.
The Field Company’s pans live up to their billing — they are noticeably lighter than most cast iron (e. g. , Lodge) and smoother to boot, and well made. So they deliver on their promise in that respect.
My only complaint, or at least question, is why the lids are so heavy. While the pans themselves are clearly lighter than those from other brands, I don’t notice a difference (in weight) in the lids, and I’m curious why that is.
When you’re using a Field pan with the lid on, it kind of negates the reason for buying a Field pan. Perhaps there is a metallurgical reason for why the lids need to be so heavy, but if not, I hope Field will explore lightening them.
We bought all 5 sizes (4 through 12), ended up returning the No. 4 (too small for our needs) and #12 (too big for our burners). No plans to return the other three and we look forward to a lot of great meals from them.

I got this for Valentines day, i put 3 coats of seasoning on it, and yet everything stuck. It has a prominent high center and all the oil drains to the corners. I am very disappointed with this product! When i washed it, the seasoning started flaking off.
With this grill and a gas stove you can cook a fantastic steak, ribs, chops. I have not tried chicken. yet. It cooks even and you can use a press or not. I use spray on mine after cooking and cleaning so it is seasoned and ready for the next meal.
The rim gives more than enough room for fats to be removed.

Holy crap guys and gals I wish I was rich. Because if I was I’d have 3 of every pan you make. This damn cast iron pan is amazing. Hands down the best piece of cookware I own. I’ve polished all of my cast iron pans by hand and spent a ton of time effort and pride making them perform as well as possible, and I thought what I was doing was worked well.
apparently I was wrong. I was completely content with all of my cast iron until I met your pan. Now everything I own seems sub-par and I’m not mad about it. I don’t know if this will ever get to the people who are actually making the pans but damn! Absolutely top notch work, simply put- the best cast iron on the market period! Thank you and your team for an absolutely superb cooking experience.
I don’t know what else to say other than you guy’s cast is amazing. Thank you thank you thank you.
this pan is awesome and will look amazing over time if you treat it right. any bad review you see of this thing can be from someone who doesn’t know what they are doing. pro tip is to follow the smithey instructions for seasoning, but do it multiple times and before you cook anything afterword, cut an onion in half and rub the flat ends around on the pan while it is still hot.
only when you have a few layers of seasoning should you then try to make eggs or sear a steak, but the flavorings those things will have when you do will be amazing and it will be totally non-stick.
Cast iron skillets are great for outdoor grilling because they are durable and can withstand high heat. They are also great for evenly distributing heat, which helps to prevent hot spots on your grill.
