Pros: Good solid case, I have a few of these and the oldest is still going strong after 7 years. Great for camera lenses and other kit, the foam inside is easy to shape to hold lenses firmly in place.

I am glad I bought this well made box to store and transport my digital oscilloscope and spectrum analyzer in. It is well padded, and the seal works exactly as advertised. The only important take-away from this review is that this box will keep your items inside safe from a variety of risks, ranging from dust or water to drops and vibration.

Years ago, I purchased several small Pelican hard cases designed for CF cards. Loved them. Then Pelican improved them. Hated the improved version. The problem was the the interior material was changed from something that gripped the memory cards to something that merely separated them, allowing them to fall free on opening.

Not exactly useful. YMMV. These Ruggard Leda memory card cases appear similar in design, construction and protection to the original Pelican cases. More importantly, their interior material grips the memory cards with enough friction to keep them in place and with small cutaway indentions to allow a finger to dislodge them easily.

Perfect! I bought FOUR! I replaced the included carabiners with the MicroLock aluminum dual S-biners from Nite Ize. Stronger than the wire ring provided with the included carabiner, more secure and equally versatile.

Case looks nice and rugged and made from good materials. I did not check it for water-proofing so no comments here. The main problem with the design is when you insert one card on the designated slot , the rubber material expands and causes the space in the neighboring slot to shrink making the insertion of a second card almost impossible to accomplish without forcing it in with excessive force.

So out of the total 12 slots only 6 are actually usable. Once inserted, pulling the cards out is difficult if you don’t have sharp fingernails. I manage to do that by inserting a thin plastic piece into the crescent like space flanking the slot.

I would have expected some testing of the product by the designers before shipping a flawed product to unsuspecting customers. If you really need space for 12 SDXC cards, look elsewhere.

I bought this purely for the purpose of the magnet and it doesn’t work at all! Straight up not happy because why did I spend $60 on a phone case that claims to be magnetic. I seriously could have bought the $40 one that isn’t and could have saved money.

Long story short too, I looked at the reviews but not enough and they push all the negative ones down that are low stared and only show the good. The case may be sturdy but it’s not magnetic. The case is 3 stars to me but really the whole review itself would be no stars because it’s not what’s advertised when stated it’s magnetic.

Too add this review I gave 5 stars so people can see it unlike myself who was tricked. Don’t get tricked and look at all reviews that are negative and not the happy ones, those are the real customers like myself.

This was a gift for my husband because the ring magnets kept breaking and I wanted him to not worry while driving. Guess I have to try another brand, hoping I can find a real magnetic case soon because we need one while he drives and this one is kak.

Not worth the price.

I’m a big fan of innovative designs and computer cases in general, and have had some really good ones through the years- the original Corsair HAF, Silverstone RV02, Fractal Define R6, and the Lian Li O11 Dyanamic XL.

Each of those has strengths and weaknesses- HAF and RV02 had amazing airflow for their time (and stack up impressively even a decade later, the Fractal is extremely well built, quiet, and has a logical layout, and the O11 Dynamic XL is just plain awesome looking and versatile for various setups.

Seasonic’s entry to the case market, the Q704, especially paired with their Syncro Power Supply, decimates every case I’ve listed above in in one key category: this design is practical and breathtakingly logical.

Although it’s a midtower, the combination of the Syncro PSU and open layout make the Q704 ridiculously easy to build in, and a big midtower, I find, such as the Define R5/6/7 or Q704, is really a sweet spot- there’s enough room to build, but not ridiculously large and hard to carry like, for example, the RV02 (I had that case for 7 years, and for all the accolades that case received, I always wondered how many people actually had the joy of lugging that darn case around).

The filters are all in spots which are easily assessible. The side door latches magnetically, and can be swung open or removed. On one hand, once the system is built, it’s built, so it can be argued that the layout doesn’t matter as much.

However, after 3 years with the Fractal Define R6, which is another sensible, well built design, I’m here to say that I have come to really appreciate cases that offer function first and foremost, see more details below.

Easy to maintain, clean, and upgrade. The door swings open for easy access. Everything is stout and well built. And all you need to do is unplug short three GPU 8 pin wires from the Syncro in order to remove the GPU along with the cables, you’ll get what I’m talking about.

On my last case I bought for a system I built earlier this year, I had 2 side panels shatter. I won’t name names because the manufacturer made it right, but the case is listed above. Of course this was mainly my fault, I was just a little too rough when lowering the panel into the provided slats and needed to make sure the side panel was level before I put the top on- but I will also opine that that particular case was not well designed to adequately protect the edges of the glass during assembly/re-assembly of the sides and top.

That’s not the case with the Q704 (har har). I ended up selling that system partially because of the side panels (taking a shattered side panel off a case can be pretty dicey, and it definitely drew some blood), and partially because the 10900k/asus z490e Stix/G.

skill 3600 RAM combo didn’t prove to be very reliable combo overall (system would fail to post at XMP settings for the RAM, and trying a Corsair kit didn’t resolve the issue). The main thing for me is speed is great, but stability is a must- and that system didn’t have it.

But amazingly, the combo price that I purchased the Q704 and Platinum Syncro 850W PSU saved me approximately $450 over that previous build on case and fans alone (to be fair, we’re talking 4 x 140mm Silent Wings 3’s for the Q704 vs 10 x 120mm Silent Wing 3’s on the other case).

Not including Cable Mod kit that is not offered AFAIK, but also less necessary on the Q704. Just to add, I would have saved another $115 if I weren’t such a fan snob and used the very servicable 120mm fans that Seasonic provides.

That said, I’m glad I got the Silent Wing 3’s (BL067) for noise levels alone. Once I experienced Fractal Define noise levels, I wanted to replicate that as much as possible in this build. I do believe that the Q704 is a thinking man’s case.

It’s not especially flashy, but extremely well conceived and implemented. Certainly built to last. No more mess of wires anywhere to manage and tie down- the Syncro connect makes it all very easy. When all that’s necessary is to simply unplug short three GPU 8 pin wires from the Syncro in order to remove the GPU along with the cables, or simply remove the 24 pin at both ends in a few seconds, you’ll get what I’m talking about.

To start this review, I will give a quick TL;DR. This case is very nice, it comes with 4 fans that have PWM and are good enough for me to leave it alone. It’s easy enough to setup, has decent room for expansion, plenty of airflow, premium feel, etc.

My cons list practically every complaint I can come up with. If it looks interesting enough, and at the price point nothing else caught your eye (as there are some good other options out there as well at this point), than give it a shot.

As for me, I was using a used Rosewill Challenger, with busted front audio ports a dying fan, and a slightly mended side panel to force the corsair A500 in for better or worse. I later found a old alienware case from 2005 in the trash and used that for a little while until the uniqueness wore off and I wanted fans PWM fans, unscuffed panels, and a bit more user friendliness since for some reason I can’t stop opening up my computer to change stuff.

Looking around a bit, there were some cheaper cases I was looking at like the DIYPC DIY-TG8-BW, MetallicGear NEO Qube, Phanteks Enthoo, some montech stuff, Rosewill cullinan, and the 3 top were Cooler Master n400 (if only it supported the A500, loved the mid ATX one) and Lian Li Lancool 2&Dynamic.

I know the list is long, but these were all things that I shoved in a list and watched for a few months with this case. The reasons I chose this Seasonic Syncro case over the rest were due to the fact I knew I was getting 4 pre-installed fans that were PWM and going off what I could find, good enough.

, A steep discount for the holidays, and lastly that bundled 750 watt psu. Without the bundled PSU, this would still be doable if money wasn’t tight for the buyer, but for me would have been far from my price range, and compared to other options you will have more freedom in case your PSU or Case get damaged for some reason (as this case/psu combo are practically reliant on eachother).

Seasonic didn’t cheap out on the Case or PSU in this combo. The PSU, despite being a gold rated powersupply is much better at supporting my computer than my old Platinum Antec Earthwatts , as with my RTX 3080 at full load I don’t hear any static from my soundcard anymore.

They include a case for the screws, however all the screws are in one bag in the container so you will have to separate them yourself, gloves to wear so you don’t smudge the case, plenty of cable ties, and premium feeling magnets on the dust filers and side panel.

Other than some oversights with reverse ATX, assembly is a breeze. Depending on your choice of motherboard, you will have a varying amount of workarounds you might have to do to be fully functional. Things I had to do include, bending the 24 to 24 pin cable backwards to a point it feels it might break if I touch it anymore (it’s a strong cable, but the ports were reversed from the way it looked like they intended), get some extenders to find a fan header for the rear fan as it has a short cable and the motherboard is flipped.

( especially since they have the option to plug fans into the PSU hub, it burns to not be easily able to do that with the rear fan). Might need an adapter to use that front type C port, they are cheap, and lastly ensure that your airflow is all going in the right direction due to the reverse nature.

Despite all the negatives or quirks I just listed, I love the case. To me its a HUGE upgrade compared to anything I have ever got to personally use, and while it was still quite expensive I got an awesome PSU upgrade with it.

Seasonic clearly demonstrates the ability to make unique and quality products with what I have heard about their products and this being my first makes me want to come back. While there is room for improvement, it is overall still a solid product, however there is still good competition out there so make sure its the right fit for you.

If they ever bring that combo sale back or liquidate this product, its an easy recommend from me.

I really like this case and it is a brilliant start for Seasonics foray into making cases that is something new and unique. It was an ingenious idea to leverage their already fantastic line of PSUs and figure out how to extend off of that.

The case is of obvious quality and for a startup product, nice to see so much thought and detail put into the design. The use of quality materials is also good. The case only has a few aluminum parts but placed in well-thought-out positions, the case seems like an aluminum case with a tempered glass side panel, despite it mostly being a steel case.

I do struggle with stating this case is good value however, at least how theyve decided to sell it. I think a better sales choice would have been to exclude any case fans and instead bundle a SYNCRO CONNECT PSU with the case.

I would have found more value in purchasing a case/psu combo with a preinstalled PSU and distribution block and choosing my own fans, than how it is sold today. The case lacks the standard familiarity found in most other cases.

And despite the cases well thought out design in how it interacts with the proprietary PSU, I found myself taking longer to build within the case due to the amount of new discovery that was required.

The case does support standard PSUs, but it defeats the point of this case. But because you are not required to use their proprietary PSU, they need a filler for the space where the power/controller distribution block needs to reside.

When you first get into the case, your presented with a nice shroud that covers this area and provides a really nice chamber to route cables through. In fact, most of the already attached case cables are running through and under this shroud.

To use the proprietary PSU this case is designed around, the very first thing you do is remove this shroud and therefore remove the nice clean cable routing chamber and you are left wondering what you are going to do with the cables that happened to be running through it.

The removal of the shroud is a little confusing as well. I imagine most people will open the shroud and start removing screws from the backside of the case, upon which youll discover that the shroud also uses magnets to still stay in place, and then even after youve take it apart, find out that instead you should have removed the 4 tiny little screws from within the case front side.

Now that may not seem like a con, that removing this part of the case is confusing, considering most people will eventually figure out what to do and they only need do it once. And you can argue, that provided with the case, was some useful instructions, that despite its ambiguous guidance, should be enough to make this process moot or even positive.

However, it was all unnecessary. I understand why the cable management shroud needs to exist to fill in the gap of space left behind by anyone not using their proprietary PSU, but I do not understand why it could not have just shipped in the box alongside the case, unattached.

To me, if the focus of this case is to get you to buy their purpose-built PSU to which the case is designed around, then I should be rewarded as a purchaser of said PSU by avoiding unnecessary installation steps that are one-time disassembles.

I would even go as far as to state that the cable management shroud could be sold separately. This would lower the cost of the case. It would also present to buyers the chance of understanding their two options more clearly and drive sales into the SYNCRO CONNECT PSU.

Lastly, it would make the process of installation the same for both those who buy the SYNCRO CONNECT PSU and for those who buy the cable management shroud. As is it today, those who opt for a more affordable PSU (most other options cost less) are rewarded with quicker and more familiar installation.

Although HPRC’s hard equipment cases are the classiest hard cases on the planet, they are also strong, light and just as important to me: color coded. Between the case colors and handle colors, I have managed to organize my gear by application.

For example, yellow cases hold monitors, and black cases with yellow handles hold associated wireless video transmitters. The sky blue handles on black boxes like this one, remind me of electrical discharges.

Hence all batteries are placed into these cases. Not only dos this help be recognize what is in a box ‘at a glance,’ but security is far easier, as I might have 20 boxes at a gig. It is also easy to recognize my brightly colored boxes vs.

those of other shooters, as well as keep track/count of my gear also ‘ in a glance. ‘ And as I said. they are classy the usual sophisticated Italian flair in design : )! They are a bit more expensive then cheap ABS plastic boxes and some copy cat cases, but they are as strong as Pelican cases, and a lot lighter: due to intelligent, clever design.

I’ve been looking at cases for my new DJI PHANTOM 3 quadcopter and it seems like all the vendors are doing is buying these hard cases, customize them to fit the drone and sell it for a huge profit – like the HPRC2700.

I decided to go with the HPRC 2600 case since I’d be storing the drone without the propellers. The Pelican 1550 seems like a strong contender but my gut says HPRC and I like the design. I saw somewhere online comparison between the Pelican vs HPRC trying to knock down HPRC as ‘plasticy’.

I don’t know if he got a bootleg version but the HPRC case I purchased is just as solid. I’ve used Pelican cases before so I’ll know any other good or bad case when I see one. Now about the HPRC 2600, it’s a very solid case, very good design and the weight seems right.

The handle is contoured just right to fit in your hands. It has four latches with solid closure. The material has a good finish to it. The foam insert is similar to the Pelican and easy to pluck and customize.

I hope this will last a long time.

I ordered this unit to carry my new X1 carbon with the charger, Bluetooth mouse, and any documents I need for the day. It’s a high quality piece and it’s well designed. Worth the money, especially when you get the discounted bundle rate for buying it alongside a laptop.

Works great! Small, compact, and lightweight. I can fit everything from my old laptop bag and save some space. Plenty of pockets for staying organized. I wish the zipper went down further in the rear to make it easier to access the laptop compartment.

Bought this for our son as an early Bday gift. I (Mom) am not a gamer, but I must say this gaming device is AMAZING! I personally have only played beat saber, but it is pretty amazing! It def is a hit with our adult friends lol.

Prepare to sweat! Haha. We got the extended head strap and I wish we would have gotten an additional battery because depending on what you play, the battery seems to only last about 2 hours max with continuous play.

And get the hard case (like a suitcase) in order for everything to fit (soft case pictures and you can see it really doesn’t fit) and not be worried about it breaking when traveling with it. Love the Oculus!.

Great price for this. Every other one I found was twice the price. It is a bit small. You have to put it in a certain way in order for it to fit correctly so you can zipper it closed properly. Minor annoyance otherwise would recommend just out of cost.

For the price this is as portable and efficient as it gets. Everything will be cramped up and no extra accessories will fit but if youre simply taking your oculus with both controllers to show off at a party or a friend’s house it gets the job done.

It’s fair quality and protective shell of the case itself is pretty sturdy.

I originally bought one of these after seeing how much less expensive they were compared to the same size Pelican case. These cases work well extremely well–I can attest to this after seeing a $ video camera floating in its case down a river after swamping a canoe! The new ones have replaced the manual pressure equalization value with an automatic one; a good move, as I always had trouble reading the tiny open/close label without my glasses.

A good value and a great case.

Would not buy again. The AM4 socket mounting solution was either poorly explained, poorly designed, furnished with the wrong parts, or perhaps even all three. What makes me most angry is that I’ll probably never know because the instructions for this thing are so utterly garbage.

I cannot emphasize that enough. See below. When I went to assemble this thing, I first tried reading the instruction manual which again due to it being pictures only and interleaving all the sequences into one was convoluted and difficult to follow.

So you’re supposed to remove your motherboard’s stock backing plate and use a custom backing plate provided which can support multiple different screw patterns. Okay fine except the snaps you use to secure the screws in place are extremely stiff.

I thought I was going to break them. That was just the start of the problems though. Next, the backing plate screws are way smaller in diameter than the holes on the motherboard so the backing plate can float and rotate.

Uh, okay that doesn’t seem right. Now that could be the motherboard’s fault but what’s not the motherboard’s fault is that the screws are shoulder screws and they aren’t threaded far enough to allow the socket-side standoffs to fully tighten against the motherboard.

So then when you put the mounting brackets on, they just sort of. wobble all over the place and I guess you can try to tighten the CPU cooler on top of that. I expect the threads would bind though. And moreover, the last-gen version of this same cooler I have in another machine had standoffs which firmly tightened against the motherboard.

That would lead me to think this one works the same way. But I can’t really know because again, the instruction manual didn’t articulate what to expect. Were the brackets supposed to be loose? Were they NOT supposed to be lose? Who knows!? Think about how much info something as simple as “cinch until finger tight against motherboard” conveys or “cinch until finger tight against shoulder screw”.

That’s all you needed to say. Then I could have known this is or is not design intent, or oh woops they sent me the wrong parts. I ended up completely hacking this thing together the way my brain expects it to work by using the standoffs for the Intel sockets as nuts on the back side of the motherboard and eschewing the backing plate entirely.

(I know, right?) That got my brackets to be solidly linked to the motherboard. Then I tightened the screws with the absurdly aggressive springs, worried I was going to crack the board or the CPU socket.

Or maybe they’re actually not that aggressive because you would have an extra 3mm when not tightening the brackets to the motherboard. Again I don’t know because the instruction manual didn’t explain anything!.

This is perfect for storing and transporting my monitor speakers. Well made, and padded, although I have added extra for more security, it is not necessary, just me being over cautious with my equipment.

There is plenty of room in there to add my audio interface, leads, and foam pads for speaker placement, and there is still room in there for other ancilliaries if required. Couldn’t be happier with the purchase, and will use again.

These can hold upto 2 small lights with padding between them. I say small as the height is not great and using the padded devider you will only fit 2 par lights side by side. It is very well made and padded all around.

Stitching is good and has a velcro handle. I gave this a 4 out of 5 due to the height.

A really lovely case that fits perfectly with the look of this camera. The case is well made, of a lovely soft leather and fits the camera like a glove. It is fiddly to put on first time but once its on you shouldn’t need to remove the base section.

I haven’t used the strap as I already had a nice brown leather one which is not quite as wide so fits a bit more easily. The removable flap for access to battery and memory card is a little tight but gets easier the more its used.

Overall, quite happy with this case and it keeps the camera pristine.

Bought on behalf of a friend in my local team. He had a smaller case that couldn’t accommodate all his darts and accessories. This case solved the problem, it takes 2 fully loaded sets of darts, around 12 sets of flights, stems and a large zipped pocket for wax, sharpener etc.

All in all, a tough case in an ABS style with more than enough space for the average player. Would fully recommend.

What a great dart case if you want to take 2 complete sets with you wherever you go. No need to put flights in or take them just start playing and plenty of storage space for your accessories you cant go wrong.

Only downside i can think of is the case is a bit bulky but it holds 2 sets of darts ready to play with.

Nice darts case, keeps two sets fully rigged as described with plenty of room for spare flights and stems. Nice bright colour means I should not leave it behind in a dark bar?

Its hard to see which way round the case is – which side is which – sounds trivial but it is frustrating to be turning the case around to find items in the many pockets and sections. i eventually tied some coloured string around one handle so i knew where the laptop and headphones were.

its a downside of the stealthy, unmarked material i suppose. also the key strap doesnt clip to the case securely, and easily falls off/disconnects. i have installed a large round keyring to secure the strap to the case, and use the buckle to disconnect/connect when using the keys.

possibly too many pockets and compartments for a slim case. i hope that is of use!.

I love my Gion Briefcase. The first one I ordered was a little damaged but customer service was super responsive and I got sent a new one after I reported the issue. I appreciated that a lot. The briefcase is great, spacious and elegant.

However, it’s a bit big. Even though it’s made for travel, I use it for work. I also really like the pockets of different sizes. Overall, I would recommend your brand to my friends.

its much lighter than a leather case, thats such a joy! all the inside pockets are really great. only the string for the chain is dropping away from a leash to easy. you should be carefull with the handling also if you dont want to see scratches on the material (for example putting it into the airplane handluggage storage).

but it will happen anyway one day.
