20 Best Carrier Oil For Hair Growth And Thickness (2023 Updated)

I’ve only used it for two days now and my hair is fuller and thicker. I am using the coconut shampoo and conditioner. I also purchased the caster oil. After shampooing and conditioning I need to add some of the caster oil to my damp hair because I can’t comb through my hair without it.

I was hoping that it would make my hair easier to comb through but it doesn’t. But. after it’s dry my hair looks so much better and feels so much better!! It has body and fullness and it looks healthy.

Maybe you could consider making some sort of detangler for longer hair because I’m still losing hair everyday when trying to comb through it. I will purchase these products again for sure!!.

I’ve been using Mielle products since 2015. During the Memorial Day sale this year, I decided to give this oil a try. I absolutely love it. It’s versatile can be used as a scalp oil, hot oil treatment, sealing oil….

It’s just a fantastic oil. The bottle size is larger than what you get from most oils. The only thing that I would prefer would be a bottle topper that allows for more control when pouring. This oil leaves my hair nourished and soft and will always be in my stash.

This product smells so good! There are no buildup residue and it keeps my hair shiny! I believe everyone should buy this product because it helps retain hair growth and smells great. I use this product 3 times a week and I really enjoys it.

Shampoo,both conditioner,all three curl creams,and the oil. Did nothing for my hair. I worked it in with my fingers , even used a diming brush. Everyone said it looked the same no curls. I was very disappointed.

This product is super hydrating on my hair. Immediately I started to feel a tingling sensation which let me know that it was doing what needed to be done. When I wear protective styles (plaits/locs/braids) my scalp gets super dry and itchy so this was perfect in alleviating that feeling.

This is a classic I didn’t read the description properly and bought this by accident purchase. What I was looking for was an oil to work into my damp or dry lengths in between washes to keep it manageable and hydrated.

My OGX oil had run out and I was on here for something else so I thought might as well get an argan hair oil here. Found this product, sounded good, didn’t read the descrition properly (it was late, I was tired).

It’s actually a very thick oil that is supposed to be massaged into a dry scalp. Now, I don’t have a dry scalp but moderately oily one which is why I don’t wanna apply thick oils on there. Hence, I haven’t used this the intended way but tried it on my dry lenghts instead.

The first time I used way too much and my hair was pretty greasy. The second time I used only a tiny amount, spread it on my hands then gently worked and crunched it into my slightly damp hair. And it works well.

Gives my dry, thirsty strands a nice shine and it smell good, too. So, I can’t really comment on the intended use but I’m loving this anyway and it will probably last me a loooooong time. Plus, lesson learned: read descriptions more carefully and don’t shop online late when you’re too tired.

I am unsure why the peppermint jbco is on sale, as I used to use the regular mango & lime jbco and this one is SO much better! I literally bought 5 more bottles after initially buying 2 on whim during a haul! By itself, my scalp feels tingly and like it is responding to the oil.

However I’ve recently began mixing this oil with Dabur alma oil (I mix them in a bottle 50/50) and on top of my scalp responding to the oil and feeling stimulated from the peppermint oil, my hair has GROWN SO MUCH! So many baby hairs on my edges (more than I’ve ever seen before, to the point where I never knew I was suppose to have hair there)! If you’re using a jbco to stimulate hair growth, this is by far the best option (for quick results)!.

I was pretty skeptical, But after trying it I noticed my hair actually is getting a bit longer (currently about 25inches from scalp- nearly to my naval). I used to suffer with it falling out or breaking off and I don’t anymore.

I barely use about a quarter size in my palm, rub it all over my hands and then gently put it in the length of my hair, toward the ends. A little bit on my scalp only from what I had just placed onto my hair.

So in other words, very very little. I wrap it up into a bun. I’m losing way less hair in my brush! And it’s breaking off less. After brushing my hair over the bathroom sink I used to have to clean the sink because of the amount of hair I left.

I don’t really need to anymore, but I still do out of habit. I’ve also noticed that this oil doesn’t weigh my hair down as bad as coconut oil alone. So I can put this oil in my hair and not put it up and it doesn’t look greasy.

If I do that though, I have to use a very tiny amount. Also, I’ve tried hair jazz and cel which was expensive and it did kind of work but this works better. I’m also taking a daily vitamin called gem and that may be helping.

I received the product thursday used it today. My 1st impression as i applied it to my hair it immediately made my hair super soft. I only left it in my hair for 2 hours. I tried detangling with it in the shower and I needed my qhemet detangling ghee instead.

I rinsed the conditioner out and proceeded with my shampoo. terressentials lemon coast clay wash. btw this is the only shampoo i use for my hair. Proceeded with Curls Gelee Gel to lock in my wash and go.

no extra oils or anything else. What i can tell after 1 use is frizz reduction for me. The definition in my hair is definitely on point but i usually get pretty good definition. Overall I would say my hair is shining and frizzy is miminum.

I am going to come back with more feedback for my hair. I also wanted to say i did use the makeup brush for application. It works just fine as long as you section your hair for our texture. if not get you a droplet tip to reach the scalp.

also i normally use kinky curl gel instead of curls but I was out so i used what I had on hand. I am going to give this product a weekly try and come back with updates. I am looking to moisturize my hair because since coloring it i notice dryness.

As I have gotten older, my hair has dried out and also started thinning so I wanted a product to strengthen my hair and also provide some moisture. This is an amazing product. I would never have thought I would be putting oil in my hair.

It sounds counterproductive but its not. My hair is just below my shoulders in length and I put the oil in after towel drying. I work about 5-6 pumps into the bottom 4″ of my hair, then blow dry. My hair is in fantastic condition and I know this product has helped significantly.

2nd time purchasing this through piping rock. I use it as a carrier oil but I also use it straight as is if my face or body has any dryness. Adds moisture right away. Using it on my face has not brought any negative effects.

I bought this oil for my hair, which has gotten drier and more flyaway as it has whitened. It is helping, though I’ve only used it so far 3 times. My hair is shinier and easier to manage when I put just 3-4 drops on after washing, and I will continue with this routine.

I completely trust this hair oil. It’s very effective. I was having a very bad hair fall for two months. This hair oil fixed my problem. It has made my hair very strong. Along with this, they have become soft and smooth.

The comb applicator which comes with it is also very useful. It becomes very easy to put oil on the scalp with this comb applicator. It applies the oil to the scalp properly.

Oil for the hair, is still the same. Lees hair loss, but I still get split end after mask my hair. The good is less hair loss. Face oil, the second week my face was great and smooth. I was happy that no more pimples, but this week ( third week ) a lot of pimple pop out again.

My face starting to getting rough. I’m not sure if the oil will continue to help my face getting better or not. I will wait and see for few more weeks. The oil for hair is still good as 5 stars but the oil for skin, not sure.

This oil is so light! Smells beautiful! I have such fine thin hair and been using this twice a week. Leaves my hair so smooth. I haven’t seen any difference yet, but of course IT TAKES TIME. I’ll keep at this while it gives me something to do during quarantine lol.

I actually really love this product, but two things to keep in mind- its solid at room temperature so depending on how warm you keep your house you’re going to need to liquefy this and get it out of this bottle.

The hole is just too small to dispense it from. I stuck it on the top of the stove while I did a little baking and the residual heat liquefied it nicely. I then poured it all in to a glass jar with a screw top lid.

I don’t use air conditioning so its occasionally liquid, but that’s above at least 70 degrees F which is probably warmer than most people like their homes. I rub this on after I get out of the shower and I look like a big ol’ wet seal (I should also mention I’m six months pregnant and using this to help prevent stretch marks).

It of course gets all over my clothes, etc and doesn’t seem to absorb well so I’ve been mixing it half and half with cocoa butter after my evening shower. I lube up, slide around my house for an hour, go to bed, and in the morning I wake up the softest glowing girl EVER.

I have experienced dryness and hair fall which led me to buy this hair care kit which contained onion blackseed oil, shampoo, conditioner and hair serum(SERIOUSLY, OF NO USE). I was so DUMB to buy a conditioner, which is of no use for medium hair.

Very moisturizing, no greasing oil. (Well if you put in too much it will always be greasy but you’d have to put in a lot for that to happen). The hair absorbs it and regenerates. The composition is excellent and clean.

Onion and Black seed are high in anti oxidants. The carrier oils in this product are highly moisturizing in itself. Nice oilblend to put on your hair overnight to remoisture.
